Crocodile gets this from an annoyance (Spandam)

You know what? Here, have a drabble. First fic using Lizard's official name.

No one in Impel Down got visitors, that's a given. Especially not someone left to rot in level 6, a level that even other prisoners didn't know existed. That's why Crocodile laughed when he was informed he had a visitor, having assumed it was a joke. The guard kept a straight face and said that the visitor would be there shortly, then left.

That certainly intrigued Crocodile and the other prisoners that had overheard the exchange. It didn't take long for the news that there was going to be a visitor to spread through out the entire block. Speculations about who it could be bounced between the cells, and the prisoners closest to him asked if he knew who it was. Crocodile shrugged off their questions. He genuinely had no clue. All he could do was wait for his visitor to arrive.

A door could be heard unlocking and opening down the hall, and Crocodile knew that that must be whoever has come down here to see him. His cell was around a corner, so he couldn't see who it was yet, but he could hear.

He could hear an onslaught of taunts and mockery coming from the other prisoners. Whoever this was appeared to be well known amongst these people, and most certainly not liked.

When the mystery visitor finally turned the corner, Crocodile had more questions than answers. Some battered, swollen man in a full body brace was being pushed towards him in a wheelchair. That definitely wasn't what he had been expecting to see.

The prisoner in the cell across from him started laughing hysterically. "Holy hell, Spandam?! And here I thought your mug couldn't get any uglier!" More prisoners joined in on the laughter, visibly elated to see this Spandam character in his sorry state. Crocodile had no idea who this man was, though he can recall hearing the name thrown around a few times.

Spandam is brought to a halt in front of Crocodile's cell. The ex-warlord smirked down at the weak looking man before him. He walked up to the bars and slid his hand and hook through them, grinning when he saw Spandam deliberately wheel himself back a bit when he saw the gleaming hook.

"Leave." The order was barked at the guards accompanying Spandam.

They looked at him incredulously, "Sir, this is Level 6, we can't just-"

"I said leave! I want to speak to him alone!" For such a thoroughly beaten man, he had a surprising amount of bark to him.

The guards hesitated, but eventually sighed and left, looking downright relieved to get away from him. Crocodile stared down at Spandam, curious as to what business he had with him.

"You!" The man seethed.

Crocodile chuckled, "What about me?"

"Your daughter!" That certainly caught his attention. "That little monster attacked me!"

For a moment, everything was silent. Crocodile took in Spandam's appearance, then laughed. Hard. Harder than he has in a long time. When he finally calmed down, he responded to the insane claim, "Sure she did. And I'm here because the Marines defeated me." He chuckled again, finding the bold-faced lie amusing.

Spandam's face turned red in rage, "She did!" He reached into his mouth and ripped out a bridge, "That crazy bitch kicked out my teeth and bit my fingers off!" The hand clutching the bridge only had three fingers, the pinky and ring finger absent.

Crocodile sneered at him, not caring for hearing this pathetic whelp call his daughter such a thing. "Nubia catches insects and gives them to her body guards to release outside because she can't stand to kill them, and you want me to believe she did that? If you're going to lie, at least make it believable."

The wheelchair inched closer to the cell as Spandam tried to act tough and yell. "I am a World Government official! I'm the chief of CP9! You can't even begin to comprehend the power I have!"

"And yet you couldn't fend off a little girl!" A prisoner called out from down the block, making many of the others laugh.

Spandam was practically foaming at the mouth. He turned his head as much as he could with his brace and casts and scowled at the offending prisoner. Then he looked back at Crocodile with a maniacal grin. He wheeled himself even closer to the cell, "You know why I came down here? I wanted to tell you in person that when I get my hands on that girl again, I'm going to make the rest of her life a living hell! She'll be begging for me to kill her whe-"

His words are cut off when Crocodile lunges forward. His hook sank into Spandam's shoulder and yanked him closer, and his hand locked around his throat to prevent him from screaming and alerting the guards. Murmurs of excitement echoed down the block as every prison clamber to watch the entertaining spectacle.

Crocodile glowered at the idiot before him, squeezing his neck harder and relishing in the panicked thrashing and gurgling sounds coming out of him. He spoke slowly but firmly, making sure that this fool would hear every word.

"If you so much as look at her, I'll rip your eyes out with my hook. If you breathe the same air as her, I'll eviscerate you, and if you ever touch her," Crocodile squeezed his neck tighter and dug the hook in deeper, "I will kill you."

With that, Crocodile released Spandam, making sure to do as much damage as possible when he tore his hook out. The scream that he let out once he could breathe again was ear-piercing and caught the attention of the guards. Despite the blood still dripping from his hook, they said nothing to Crocodile and just focused on removing the shrieking man from the block.

Everyone was cheering Crocodile on, happy to see him tear into the CP9 Chief. Crocodile didn't register any of their words as he stared at his blood soaked hook. His daughter was specifically being targeted by some very powerful people.

He needed to get out of here, and fast. And when he did, Spandam was going to be his first victim.

CR3 EPISODE 78 SPOILERS

god. i love this fucking campaign. this one's gonna be long as shit.

despite how genuinely depressing this episode was, it also made me really giddy because i love hurt/comfort and there's no point of that if there's no hurt or angst.

im probably gonna go down the line with each member of bells hells, discussing what i can remember off the top of my head, i hope i don't forget anything in my rambles cause this was one of my FAVORITE episodes of the whole campaign and that's saying something.

i love ashton. i have loved ashton the most since the very beginning and for a lot of it i was really worried that ashton was deliberating running from opening up with bells hells while also going out of their way to have one-to-one convos with different members that were deep and insightful but never went as far as they needed to.

i am projecting a bit with analysis of ashton but taliesin does it best when rp'ing for ash and generally talking abt him in interviews. ashton reminds me of myself, which is not a compliment and is actually really terrible. ironically enough, ashton said the same thing abt fcg. i have spent a lot of time hurting myself by sabotaging the things i love, or embracing the worse parts of myself simply because it's become habit. there's always going to be a piece of you that finds the sadness, anger, guilt, emptiness, whatever -- comforting because it's all you've known.

ashton mourns a life that he never lived. i find myself mourning versions of myself that i would hate but still...yearn for them like an itch or an ache that comes from hurt. ashton wanted their family back, in whatever desperate, corrupted way he felt he should have done it, and hearing how he described feeling like he looked past the cautionary tale simply because he thought the pain they caused him should have meant something else made me think of imogen.

beautiful, sweet, powerful, dangerous, sad imogen temult. i won't comment on how everyone berated ashton because that's not really surprising nor was anything imogen said or did pertaining to ash shocking whatsoever. but... there's smth abt the destruction that ashton did to feel close to the idea of a family that doesn't really exist that just parallels so well with the fight that imogen has been undergoing since childhood. against the red storm, now against the call of ruidus, and the temptation and attachment she felt and still feels to her mother, despite everything liliana has done that jeopardizes everything imogen is fighting for.

abandoned by her mother, shunned by her own town, ignored and feared by her father.

going back to ashton again, there's smth to be said abt the guilt and shame that comes from making horrible choices that put yourself and the ppl you love in danger that forever changes the way they perceive you. I've done it. i had to fight to make things better. it can't be enough to love someone enough that would die for them, you have to fight to stay alive. if not even for yourself, for THEM.

i know it can be unhealthy to rely on others so much, but it's certainly not easy to fight for yourself when the foundation isn't there. learning how to love without throwing yourself on a blade is more important than self sufficiency. that comes afterwards.

i...don't like laudna's reliance on delilah briarwood this episode. i... there's smth very ironic about laudna being worried abt ashton's betrayal and the way he hurt her and the others with his deception and selfishness, coupled with my understanding of the absolute fucking insane, borderline stupid danger of even SPEAKING to delilah briarwood, let alone working WITH her.

i think it's hypocritical, but i don't feel any animosity towards laudna. just..sadness. delilah is a parasite. a disgusting, cruel, evil bitch who wants laudna to be... that weak little girl easily crushed under her thumb. she may preach abt laudna's latent power and potential, but laudna won't serve her purpose if she TRULY gains the strength to cast delilah aside forever. i don't think delilah was telling the truth abt their fates last episode, and that's why i so deeply want laudna to toss aside that defeatist mindset that has only gotten worse since episode one. maybe im wrong, maybe delilah was actually being genuine.

i kept watching imogens/laura's face during laudna's moments speaking with delilah alone, and it just made me sad because she didn't need to be alone. she had imogen, but she still felt the need to run and hide away. god i just want her to be happy.

i really liked the doll she made for ashton, even though delilah made it really creepy for no reason, the dramatic cunt she is. her assessment of ashton as being a child may seem rude or even a projection but to me it's the truth. ashton has not grown past his childhood. past abandonment and pain and mistrust and love that never lasts and always hurts. that shit followed them to adulthood and anyone who has any number of mental illnesses and childhood trauma will tell you that it's so easy to feel yourself stuck as a reactive, stubborn, bitter little kid trapped in a shitty cycle of pain. both ashton and laudna this episode felt like they were both broken, sad children interacting. laudna clinging to comfort from delilah, hiding away, mentally reverting to the person she was the last time she was in whitestone. ashton, clinging to his lost childhood and the acceptance of laudna's doll, the admittance that they'd never had a doll before. god... they're so sad, im gonna scream.

fcg apologizing for forcing faith down ashtons throat was sweet and so was ashton apologizing for being so bitter abt fcg's faith. now i just need fcg to apologize for the multiple instances where he put laudna in danger by casting turn undead with no acknowledgement of laudna afterwards.

fcg saying that ashton didn't love anyone or care about anyone hurt me a bit, because while i understood why they were saying those things, it was so... obviously untrue. before all of this, ashton has shown again and again and again how much he loves bells hells, and especially fcg. i know that ashton almost dying over smth so arrogant, desperate and foolish would make anyone question what someone's idea of "love" is, but still. it stung. maybe because i have been there. i know what it's like to be doubted and mistrusted because you ruined smth good callously and carelessly.

chetney... chetney really loves fearne. i don't care if y'all don't get it or if y'all still think chet is some joke character with no substance, I never understood that shit and i simply never will. chet and fearne probably have the best relationship in all of bells' hells -- and yes, that includes imogen and laudna because god knows those two have shit brewing under the surface that needs to be HANDLED, i.e: laudna being defeatist abt their relationship even tho it's barely begun.

chetney's a good man. him going after fearne was the best choice and im glad he gave her a couple laughs before she went off to wander. he cares about her so much, and he BELIEVES in her so much, and i love them. i LOVED the way he went in on ashton. hurting fearne by making a shitty decision and letting her bear the burden of watching ashton die right in front of her was... bad. it is very complicated but, that's pretty cut and dry.

i like him testing ashton again and again. telling him to leave but also being glad they chose to be brave and stay, and face the consequences of their actions. attacking ashton to see what all of any of that shit was even for. (im a little bummed that the shard didn't fully wake up yet but...i love the suspense im just impatient).

FEARNE. CALLOWAY. i love fearne, and i love the breakdown during the first part of the episode. it was such a raw moment and it established the tone of the episode so quickly. im glad that fearne knows that while ashton fucked up royally, her rejecting of the shard and complacence in ashton's plans was also royally stupid. i don't think her being terrified of taking the shard is bad or stupid, it's actually one of my favorite fearne character choices. no one ever actually asked her WHY she didn't want it, and when she said she didn't want it, it was still decided by the hells that the shard would go to fearne. (they're very shit at communication, poor babies). im happy that she specifically clarified that ashton did not threaten or manipulate her (plus he gave her many opportunities to not be involved with his bullshit if it made her uncomfy so im hoping the insane critters who keep treating ashton like some evil, predatory person finally stfu).

fearne being so scared of a version of herself that was sad, lonely, and "evil" to the point that she chose to believe that it was ashton's destiny to take in both shards is so... so rich. i hope she talks about that more in the next episode because i don't think she's EVER brought it up since exu. i don't think the shard would change fearne's personality but god the fact that SHE is so afraid of herself and what she's capable of.... AHHHH. love this damn party.

i hope liam knows that expect really painful roleplaying from him when he comes back cause i really do need ashton and orym interactions like i need air.

the choice to go to the fey realm was brilliant and i missed nana morri so it's a win for me. bells hells COULD have done what they've been doing for a while now, which is ignoring the pain they're all feeling and pushing forward, but ashton doing what they did was the straw that broke the camel's back and im GLAD because i have been begging them all to have real conversations with each other that don't get cut short prematurely for whatever reason.

i do hope that they do really lean into the self care aspect involving therapy and talking through their issues with ALL of the members present or even in groups, and it isn't just fun and games. they're prone to distraction. i love my little guys.

honestly? it could've been worse.

lots of things happened in 2023, both good and bad, in real life and on this hellsite. i feel like i've started to hone in on my voice as a writer this year, and my creativity and motivation just seemed to skyrocket for absolutely no reason. it's been fun sharing my work with you guys, and i'm forever grateful for all the love and support i have received <3 furthermore, thank you so so much for 4k followers!!!!! i never thought i would reach such a milestone, so it truly means a lot :')

there's a lot i wish i could have done during 2023 that i didn't end up doing, but i think it is best to focus on what i did accomplish and use that as a stepping stone towards better things. also, there were a lot of times where i didn't feel content with where and who i was. right now, however, i can confidently say that i am happy; i am hoping that happiness will be abundant for everyone in 2024! we all deserve it!!

furthermore, everyone worked hard, so i hope you all give yourself some grace in order to recharge and reset. taking breaks is paramount in maintaining your health and happiness, and i'm glad i learned that it's okay for me to take them lol.

so happy new year everyone! i hope 2024 brings many wonderful things your way, and may we all have a lovely year!! <33

once you start accusing people of things that are not only detrimental to their reputation, but also just insanely inaccurate, how they defend themselves is neither here nor there.

there’s no rules to this shit. they minimized this to it being just “sims” out of convenience, it fits the narrative they’re pushing. if im being harassed for months and weeks on end & then being accused for being amongst the same accounts doing that nasty behavior, im going to be as out pocket as the rumors & attacks are. it stopped being about sims when my character was attacked. it stopped being about sims when the name calling started and it stopped being about sims when ole girl’s personal information was leaked. im not going back and forth publicly anymore, but once my account is unlocked i will be reaching out to yall, trust that!

at no point have i ever excused or justified the doxing. i think that is something that is dangerous and overall unnecessary. if this continues to be a concern, i urge all of those involved to bring law enforcement into this matter. since it has become about safety, please seek all necessary legal means to resolve the matter. as i will fully cooperate to my accounts being subpoenaed and searched for its activity.

blacksim (whose first name is just learned today after her information was leaked btw!) gets to still be accusatory and proceed to be confused as to why she’s getting the reaction she is. the same language she’s using, if someone else said it to her she would be going on a rampage and weaponizing her blackness. but again, defending yourself is only fine when it’s them. defending your character is only acceptable when it’s that group. she is the only person that has ever been attacked on the internet, so anyone who retaliates is wrong.

also boy do I have headcanons or just what I think could happen if they end up together (AND ALIVE?) so here we go

Warren's absolutely inept at cooking he Tries and he Knows how to survive on his own but he's more than happy to leave Gordon alone in the kitchen and let him work his magic (I also don't think Gordon's that good either but he's willing to try for warren)

Gordon sleeps with his socks on, Warren says it's stupid and Gordon pulls out his phone with that article saying it's easier to fall asleep with them on and they have a Debate abt it

also think both of them have a sweet tooth but Gordon's actually pathologic like three spoonfuls of sugar + milk into tea and Warren's like arent u afraid of losing your teeth and Gordon's like (girls who like sweets when they meet bitches that snort sugar)

Warren strikes me as a morning person or even if not necessarily loving waking up early he's like someone who once wakes up is Awake whereas Gordon's fully nonfuncional in the morning and Warren has to drag him around he pretends to hate it but he doesn't of course

i think neither Warren nor Gordon are Conventionally Pretty cos that's boring but Gordon was in a metal band he's since long embraced being a Freak while Warren's still self concious in the silent way but Gordon genuinely thinks he's the most handsome man alive like he's truly convinced Warren is this mythical relict that only the pure of heart can find and appreciate which makes Warren feel so embarrassed but after a while he embraces it and they become so obsessed with each other from an outside perspective it's frightening

idk why but it think they both try to become vegetarian for Waffles (it makes sense in my head) but they like full english breakfast too much so they Just can't it's funny to me ok

Warren says he was a punk (pointing at Gordon) just to see Gordon get red in the face and explain At Length just how much punk and metal are different genres because he was born in the eighties so He's like That and how while he can see the strength of certain messages conveyed through punk music it's just Not at all like metal where techinque and actual musical ability is valued but also he played bass so maybe he's more chill about it but he still wants to point it out ok he isn't Punk and Warren does it because he's insane about Gordon getting heated and at a certain point he just tunes him out it's like asmr to him

they both have Issues and so it takes them a while to get it together like Warren is in love but won't say anything because he thinks what they have is too good to ruin and Gordon still thinks Warren is Fragile and also possibly straight? but once they Do get it together they still don't define it because it's Too big and too personal to have a name like I am 100% serious when I'm saying that I think their relationship is Overwhelming in the most romanticly haunting sense but they balance it well it works with them exclusively

both of them are tactile people but Warren won't initiate any contact he's more like a dog that accepts pats but doesn't get up to search for them

Warren's a tidy person and Gordon's more "There's method to my madness" but he's an Archivist so he's got every important document cared for and has extremely good spacial memory i like to think that a few years down the line (in my universe where they are happy and live together) they become sort of telepathic and when Warren needs something he doesn't even have to ask he's just like "Have you seen the- and Gordon's there "Top right corner of the shelf in the bathroom" and they do this All the time

I'm gonna talk about requiem stands (and stands in general) for too long. I have been thinking.

So requiem stands and what they represent about the user and I've been losing my mind but before that I wanna give a more broad idea of how stand sentience has evolved with each part because I can.

Part 3 establishes stands as a representation of the user's fighting spirit.

This has a lot of implications and the biggest one of those being the question of why Jotaro and DIO's stands are the same but I'm not gonna talk about that rn.

Part 3 also throws out the idea of inanimate stands and sentient stands.

For examples of inanimate stands we have Hermit Purple(/Holly's stand), Yellow Temperance, Thoth, Strength, Sun, Wheel of Fortune, and Khnum. All of these things are nonsentient objects (vines, clothing, books, boats, the fucking sun, a car, and whatever Khnum is) that the user is under complete control of.

The category of sentience is actually more interesting, though. For examples here we have Star Platinum, Silver Chariot, Empress, Judgement, and Anubis. This category is interesting because it establishes stand sentience as a spectrum.

Anubis in particular is a stand that is sentient and alive without its user while simultaneously being an inanimate object.

Star Platinum on the other hand may have a personified form, but it fully bends to the will of Jotaro. The reason why I say it's sentient is because it does things independently from Jotaro, like rob people (I love Star Platinum). But while Star Platinum may be capable of independent action, it is not an independent being like Anubis.

That is a very important and interesting thing to establish.

Part 4 takes stand sentience a step further with stands like Echoes Act 3, Cheap Trick, and Surface.

The addition of acts is really really cool to show how stands reflect their user, and I will never get over how well they are implemented in part 7. But I am once again not here to talk about that.

Surface is a very very interesting stand to me, genuinely one of my favorite stands to think about, and it literally shows up one time. I am seething.

Why is Surface an interesting stand? Well it is the first stand shown that both has a user and has an actual personality.

Surface and Hazamada have a dynamic, Hazamada treats Surface as a person. They talk, they learn about eachother, they argue. Surface's personality changes depending on who it is impersonating but that does not change the fact that is has a PERSONALITY!

Echoes Act 3 is very similar, it's like Koichi but a bitch which is why it is a great stand.

Cheap Trick is Cheap Trick.

And in the opposite direction we have stands like Super Fly who is LITERALLY JUST A TRANSMISSION TOWER. HILARIOUS. Or Ratt which is just a Gun. Or Love Deluxe which is my beloved.

And then... part 4 establishes something new.

Not just acts, but another thing.

I'll bring it up later.

And now we are at part 5, the part this post is fucking about.

First of all distortion stands are a thing and I just want to mention them because I think they are Neat and Purple Haze Feedback is really really good. Ok.

Let's discuss stand sentience.

Fuckin Sex Pistols are INSANELY sentient. They are not just one personality, they are six. Epic sauce. Spice Girl is literally the person Trish wants to become, which is an amazing concept executed very well. Purple Haze bends to Fugo's will when he is around but not in like a sense of it being apart of him. It's more like Purple Haze is a barely tamed animal he has leashed up. The fact that Fugo is ashamed of his stand is also a very very interesting scenario that I wish was explored more canonically, but alas...

Meanwhile we have Aerosmith which is straight up just a plane. I love Aerosmith it is my favorite stand I'm sorry. Also Mr. President which is just a Room.

Ok. Why have I brought this up, what the fuck am I cooking?

All sentient stands with users that I have mentioned have one thing in common:

They are under the control of their user.

Purple Haze is unpredictable without Fugo, but when he is around it will follow his orders.

Surface may argue with Hazamada but it will always go along with his plans.

Echoes Act 3 may sometimes be annoying on purpose but it exists to follow Koichi's commands.

Now that we've established this, let's talk about requiem stands.

Silver Chariot Requiem.

Silver Chariot Requiem is fucking weird. It's powers do not make sense considering its previous form and its design is unlike any other stand designed shown so far.

Silver Chariot Requiem is an interesting case because it does one thing that all other stands with a consistent user have never done so far:

Silver Chariot Requiem betrays Polnareff.

Stands have always reflected their user in some way, and requiem stands are no different. But while regular stands grow and change with their user's desires, requiem stands do not.

Requiem stands are born from a goal, a single desire that their user would do anything to achieve.

For Polnareff that desire was to protect the stand arrow. Silver Chariot Requiem does that, but by any means necessary.

If Polnareff is perceived as a threat to the arrow, Silver Chariot Requiem will not hesitate to kill him.

Silver Chariot Requiem is not apart of Polnareff anymore, it does not bend to his will, and it does not respect him at all, it is its own being entirely.

Gold Experience Requiem.

I AM SO SO SO FUCKING NORMAL ABOUT THIS THING IT'S CRAZY.

Ok anyways.

Gold Experience Requiem was born from Giorno's desire to avenge and protect his friends. And... and it definitely does that. Mhm. Yep. G... good job, buddy.

What makes Gold Experience Requiem interesting to me is because it is not like other requiem stands shown. Other requiem stands are born from wanting to prevent action, but Gold Experience Requiem is born as a reaction. Gold Experience Requiem was created for revenge.

So while Chariot may mistake Polnareff as an enemy to prevent action, Gold Experience Requiem would NEVER EVER mistake Giorno as an enemy.

Gold Experience Requiem lives to protect Giorno from harm, so much so that it doesn't even let him know its true potential to protect him.

Uhhh.

Uhhhhh.

The fact that Gold Experience Requiem is so sentient and independent from Giorno that it is possible for it to keep secrets is absolutely absurd. That is an incredible showing of what a requiem stands are and I will never stop gushing over it.

There's also the fact that is literally able to edit fate in order to protect Giorno. That doesn't have much to do with the sentience of it all but uhh what the fuck. Hey. Hey Araki? What the fuck. What the fuck.

So, this is the end of the post, right?

Haha, no. You fool. You clown.

Killer Queen. Let's talk about it.

At the end of part 4 Yoshikage Kira fulfills his role as jjba villain by gaining the ability to fuck with time. I love you timeloops.

But there's a question to be asked here.

Is Killer Queen: Bites the Dust a requiem stand?

Yes. Yes it is.

First of all, Kira gets this ability from a stand arrow.

Second, Bites the Dust is able to act without Kira being there.

Bites the Dust latches onto Hayato and watches over him without Kira being anywhere nearby. This means that Bites the Dust can act on its own without needing orders from Kira.

Third, it physically changes.

It's stomach can open up. It's a strange and small change mostly done without the arrow in mind but this is MY analysis and I get to do what I want, mkay?

Fourth, and most importantly, it is born from Kira's ultimate desire at the time.

Protecting himself.

GER protects Giorno as a side effect of his desire for revenge and justice, Bites the Dust protects Kira because that is literally what it was made to do.

GER alters fate to protect Giorno, and Bites the Dust LITERALLY DOES THE SAME.

If Kira had aquired Bites the Dust after requiem stands were established, it would've been named Killer Queen Requiem.

Today was game day. The day where all teens could be reckless in their confessions just because the letters to their crushes could be anonymous. The day that y/n dreaded the most. Letter day.

She woke up with a dreary nervous feeling in her gut after being escorted back to her room by draco the other night. She didnt know how the day was going to play out, now remembering the letter draco so mindlessly left on Darcy's basket.

"Oh. My. God. Girls. Do you see this? handwritten and everything! oh my gosh his hand writing is to die for. i swear i am already getting soaked just by this letter, i cannot wait for tonight!! eeeek!"

ah shit. the day just had to begin with Darcy's demonic squeeling about.... oh no. Draco's letter.

"hey freak, you see this? this is something you'll never get. EVER! i wonder how it feels to be lonely and a sad know it all.... hm i guess i'll never know! my life is literally complete now, draco is at my feet as he should." Darcy blurted while shoving the letter in y/n's face.

"It must be sad depending on boys to complete your life. i could never." y/n finally bit back with sas

"excuse me? is that how you speak to my best friend darcy?" one of darcy's minions said dumbfounded

"yea i dont really care, annoying ass mfs." y/n said while making her way out the room, not storming or running, but walking. taking her own sweet time. This drove darcy to insanity just a bit more.

"You'll regret this you stupid piece of shit! come ere'!" darcy yelled with the most annoying tone ever.

before y/n knew it, she was on the floor getting sacked by Darcy.

"what the hell! Get off me b!tch!" y/n said whilst trying to plow her way out of the mess Darcy created.

"No. this!" darcy said with a punch "is!" another punch, "what!" yet again another punch, "you get! bitch!" thank god this was the last blow Darcy pulled onto y/n's head before getting pulled away by proffesor snape.

"Darcy! what in godricks name is this terrible behaviour!" proffesor snape said with disbelief as to why one of his favourite students was punching the living shit out of y/n.

"Proffesor! it was y/n! she did it first! i swear!!" Darcy pleaded with the ugliest puppy dog eyes known to man-kind.

"y/n.... it's always something involving you isn't it? is this true?" proffesor snape inquired with sterness and anger

"what?? hell no! she threw all the blows!" y/n said with absolute astonishment as to how Darcy could be this good of a manipulator.

"No! believe me please! it was y/n! not me!"

by this time a full crowd of eager and curious students sorrounded the scene, of course attracting the attention of a certain platinum haired boy. Draco.

"y/n? y/n- is that you? oh my god it is" Draco frantically spasmed while trying to push through the crowd of adolescents which have paraded the scene by now

"proffesor snape! let me take y/n off your hands. i'll get her all cleaned up ready for detention in no time sir." draco offered with genuine eyes

"Draco! finally. where were you? please get y/n sorted out.. and have her in the potions lab in 30. no later than that." Snape said while eyeing y/n up and down like a filthy dog.

"now darcy. i shall allow you back into the dorm to collect yourself. please see yourself by the potions lab in 30." snape said remorsefully as if Darcy had been the one beaten up just a couple minutes ago.

"come ere' y/n. time to get your beaten ass cleaned up." Draco said while strongly picking her up to drag one of her arms over his shoulder

"what the hell? that man definitely has something against me! he didnt even see me lay a finger on Darcy's ugly ass and yet he's treating her like she's the hurt one?!?!?" y/n said with pure anger running through her veins while clutching onto draco's shoulder harder than before which made Draco form a sour expression

by now Draco had been dragging y/n up to the prefects bathroom for the past 10 minutes with her constant whining and breather "breaks". Her face was all bloodied and filled with bruises, all caused by that stupid Darcy.

"There. We've finally made it! Oh thank merlin, you're so heavy." Draco said while resting both his hands on his knees like an old grandpa who just did a 5 minute jog

"Excuse me? Did you just call ME heavy? Maybe you should try carrying yourself! You'd probably fall 6 feet under at how heavy YOU are." Y/n scoffed while looking the other direction only to reveal that the prefects bathroom was surely magnificent.

She admired the marble tiles that lined the floor and all the sinks and toilet stalls that were actually clean. Not to mention the obnoxiously huge pool like bathtub sat right at the middle of the bathroom tying the whole thing together.

"Don't start with me y/n, you don't want to end up getting another fatal blow to your head now do ya-" Before Draco could finish his so called insult y/n let out an audible gasp of awe at how beautiful the area they were in was.

"Oh my merlin's beard- Draco! Why haven't you introduced me to this magical place any sooner! i-i the tiles! the ginormous tub! The siren glass sat on the wall so beautifully carved!" Y/n's eyes glimmered at every word she said and Draco couldn't help but to admire her even just for a second.

"Yea, truly breathtaking." Except Draco's eyes weren't on the bathroom but... her.

"Anyway, let's get you cleaned up before snape snaps both of our asses into two." Draco said with great fear

Apart from a few scratches and bruises littered on her face, y/n was looking much better than before she got cleaned. Draco had walked her all the way to the dungeon by now, laughing and conversing whilst on the way.

Now they both stood dumb in front of snapes potions lab contemplating how they were going to enter into this suavely.

"Draco! Are you sure you can't come in with me." y/n said with pleading eyes not wanting to face her battles alone.

"No y/n. You have to learn to deal with these things independently. My gosh, what would you do without me.. Honestly." Draco now said with a thinking expression as if he just said revealed a revelation of some sort

"Shut up. I don't need you anyway. Goodbye father." Y/n joked before taking in a deep breath whilst slowly swinging the wooden door open.

"Ah... Miss y/l/n. Good to finally see you after.." Snape said while looking up at the clock that was gloomily placed at the top of his potions shelf

"40 minutes. You are late which doesn't help your case by the way." Snape hissed before turning his attention back to Darcy who sat snobbishly early and innocent next to snape.

This was going to be a long detention y/n thought to herself.

It had been 1 hour and 34 minutes exactly, as Draco worriedly checked his watch waiting for y/n to exit. He was supposed to be on prefect duties but decided to wait for his best friend instead.

Until he heard the sound of the door creak beside him.

"y/n! Finally you took like 5 hours in there. Everything alright? You talk it out with the devils?" Draco said with eagerness while walking y/n out of the dungeons.

Y/n took in a deep breath before starting.

"Lets just say, i ultimately hate Darcy 100 times more. Like cant that witch catch a break? Even in detention when i was bloody sweeping the floor and she was wiping the windows, she had to cause drama and purposely "push" a few empty potions bottles on the floor for me to sweep. Like actually she's so annoy-" Before y/n could finish her mini rant, she heard the voice of an annoying irritable rat interrupt her.

"A-Ahem. I'm right behind you, you know." Darcy said while catching up with the pair not noticing Draco at first glance.

"You know... maybe if you took care of your manners a bit more and stopped talking behind peoples backs, then bad luck wouldn't come your way." Darcy chanted before quickly noticing the platinum haired boy beside y/n who was now giving Darcy the death stare.

"Oooh! My bad- Did i interrupt your charity work Draco? I-i'm so sorry! She's the kindest angel ever just that she can be a bit coo coo at times so i understand if she's giving you troubles." Darcy faked her innocence while batting her non existent eyelashes at Draco.

"It's okay Darcy, i understand.. y/n can be a bit.... sucky at times but i agree with you. Tonight still on yea?" Draco questioned with a wink.

Sour thoughts exploded through y/n's mind as she felt the utter urge to punch Draco till he was bloodied and bruised just like she was.

"Of course! See you tonight my slytherin prince~" Darcy sang out before skipping away rhythmically

y/n and draco couldn't help but cringe at the statement made but decided to hide it with a fake thick smile

"What the fuck was that about Draco? You didn't even stand up for me!" y/n said with growing anger

"Listen, you need to learn to accept the words that Darcy says to you. Sometimes she's right is all i'm saying."

And with that final sentence, y/n felt as if her whole world was crushing down. Why was her only true friend acting this way? Was it time she realised she truly had nobody except herself? Not even Draco?

She felt as if she could cry a whole river, yet all signs of tears refused to come out at all.

A very stupid Harry Potter thing

So while doing my makeup today, I was spacing into the void and this thought came to me and now that I'm thinking about it, here's a stupid AU that may or may not be fueling my femboy fetish:

So, let's be real, Petunia probably tried the concealer trick to hide Harry's scar. Now, what a lot of people don't know -and actually, I just learned this myself today :D - is you can actually use concealer to highlight and brighten certain areas of your skin.

So, one day Harry's doing the concealer thing before Primary, he notices the glow and experiments before heading out; just the under eye cheek bone area. Oh my gosh, I look like I'm glowing!? Maybe this concealer stuff isn't so bad after all. Heck, now he has girls asking 'Harry, what are you doing? Your skin is glowing?! Teach us our secret!?" Harry's just stunned pikachu silence cause he didn't know how he did that.

Continues doing it, surprising Petunia since she usually had to fight him into wearing it. Whatever, at least we can hide the damn scar and keep him looking normal. Well now it's a double-edged sword, since one night, Vernon left the cupboard unlocked - He hasn't done anything "freaky", we can try this one night. sneaks into the bathroom and gets the mascara out. Okay his eyes were a bit irritated the day after cause obvious being obvious. But no-one knew he took his aunt's, they just knew that one day at school, Harry's lashes are fuller than usual.

This continues under behind the back, Harry's doing paper routes to get allowances cause the Dursleys sure as hell ain't payin' him for his chores. Buys his own stuff and hides them in his 'room'. This continues until Hogwarts, now he's fretting cause "BUT HOW AM I GOING TO GET A NEW PITCH BLACK LIPSTICK FROM MAYBELLINE?!" Finds out about the Vault? "Okay, I rocked this budgeting thing, I got this. Got my school supplies, how much do I have left? Yes! Time to get that Viper liner from Sephora! Should look up magic makeup looks to impress my new classmates"

But. This would start the Malfoy vs. Potter feud It wasn't Draco insulting Ron in front of Harry on the Hogwarts Expression Wasn't Draco bragging about his broom collection at Malfoy Manor while getting fitted for robes. Oh nooooo

It was because "Uh, who is this kid that's a lower status than me rocking a killer eyeliner? That wing is so sharp it could kill a person." Tries sucking up to Harry. Got shot down. That was the third Time Potter shot him down! How dare he! Fine, Potter, if that's how it's going to be I'll show to you that I'm the superior one and you will be so awed by me you'll have no choice but to leave that Blood Traitor Weasley.

Thus, began the Hogwarts Makeup Feud; every day, Draco shows up with something mind blowing; amazing blend of colors, gemstones glued to the outer corner of his eyes, he's looking like a fucking Faerie up in here. There's no way Potter will be able to top genuine emeralds and onyxes in a faux mask! Now he'll have to admit I'm his better!

But what's this? Harry shows up with a steady painted mask as his eyeshadow look; a lion mask with nothing but Gryffindor Colors! How many shades of reds and golds did he use?! No matter, one time thing - WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S SHOWING OFF A SLYTHERIN LOOK- ARE THOSE SCALES ON HIS FACE?! Potter, what the hell?! "Wig Cap" Wig what?!

This continues no matter what. Philosopher's stone, Harry has UV light eyeliner - how are they glowing without a UV light in Hogwarts? Magic! Chamber of Secrets, he lost some rhinestones while fighting the Basilisk, but hey, the setting spray is insanely powerful and his look hasn't melted yet. When he first died at Voldemort's hand? Voldemort made sure to have someone writing his victory speach.

"I suppose Potter deserves some recognition, write that he died the way he lived, looking like a swan" BITCH HE LIVES AGAIN! And Voldemort now has to live in the afterlife knowing he got taken down by a fuckin' twink who decided to one up Draco one final time.

Draco showed up in a corset top and was still casting spells without problems. Harry's not going down. HE'S FIGHTING VOLDEMORT IN HEELS. SUCK IT MALFOY!

Throughout all seven years, Harry and Draco had been doing this, trying to prove a point to someone. What was that point? What were they trying to tell the other? They don't know but they're not going down without a fight

favorite thing about them

he's my most favoritest guy. i love him. if like .03% of the things that had happened to him happened to me i'd be out there murdering bitches or something and he's still just out here being a nice friendly guy who tries his best for the ship and for other people. like sometimes they do a rly good job of making it clear that there's this very deep well of resolve to him and he is an incredibly hard person to break despite experiencing the horrors so so so often. BUT i also love it when he's unhinged like he absolutely deserves to get to go off the rails sometimes. and i like it when he's making little petty comments he deserves that too.

least favorite thing about them

i mean we all know this but he's SO fucked over by the writers/showrunners. there's literally no reason for the no promotion/left out of major storylines/frequently sidelined in favor of other characters deal except some like. racist bullshit. writers will be like "well we just don't think he's an interesting character" bitch then make him interesting lol that's your job.

harry and b'elanna literally the single most important dynamic in the show to me. every episode that they don't have a scene together i think about committing unfathomable acts of violence. i really enjoy that they genuinely feel like friends who care tremendously about each other (although i wish we saw them hanging out more off duty or in the mess hall or whatever).

Day 4 of posting WIPs! Here is a super old one I’ve been toying with starting again. Not a fanfiction, though.

It was late when Carmen pushed the door of the parlor open, the neon sign on the door had long been turned off; even though there were still a few customers who were there getting whatever it was finished off, cleaned and wrapped. She smiled at the flame haired female at the counter who stood up and walked around to give her a hug.

“Never actually thought that the mighty Carmen Finch would take me up on my offer.” the girl smiled, her cheek piercings all but vanishing into the dimples they left behind. There was no malice behind her statement, merely just a touch of sarcasm to cover up the genuine surprise there. Truth be told, Carmen never really thought she would end up in this tattoo parlour at nearly three AM but here she was. The bi-product of too much tequila and a really long heart to heart with the girl in front of her had resulted in the artist drawing her up a tattoo and double dog daring her to get it done.

Pain never bothered her, not really. Carmen just never voluntarily put herself into situations wherein she got herself hurt or anything at all like that. Well, physically, anyway. She didn’t even have her ears pierced for the love of God. The thought of someone coming anywhere near her with a needle intent to cause and not cure pain made her skin crawl and her blood run cold, but what Emily had said had been bothering her for weeks. Maybe getting them out from under her skin really did come from getting them onto her skin.

Emily Mears was a long time friend of Carmen’s, they’d attended the same middle and high schools and even roomed together at college. Now, Emily had her own business and Carmen was knee deep in her father’s, and sinking fast. Carmen shrugged, “Never thought I would be here, but ever since you finished up that sketch and had the damn thing sent to my apartment, I’ve not been able to stop thinking about it.” It was the truth, too. She’d never once considered a tattoo until she couldn’t stop peeking at the sketch every other day. Couldn’t stop imagining how the smokey lines and splashes of red would be in stark contrast to her alabaster skin. She wanted to do it to piss her dad off, to show him that she wasn’t a pawn in his chess game, but she also wanted to do it to prove that she could. Prove that something beautiful could come from hours of pain. That she could put herself through that and come out the other side swinging. That, and she never backed down from a dare.

She knew it was downright insane, but after the events of the past few weeks she was done with feeling like a fragile flower and having to be protected. Carmen was ready to face this all on her own. She was ready to stand up and be counted in a the man’s world she had been raised in. The thing was, though, she wasn’t sure she wanted the trappings and trimmings that came with being made in this business.

“Coffee?” Emily’s soft voice broke through the haze in Carmen’s skull and the buzzing that was surrounding them as another artist finished off a tattoo. Carmen nodded, blindly following the girl into the back room that was filled with plush furniture and a glass and chrome table and chair set in the corner. The lights came on as they walked into the room, Carmen following after the Petite red head, who babbled on and on about different types of coffee beans and coffee flavours that they had.

“Just plain black for me.” Carmen finally muttered, it was too early or too late for anything else and all she wanted was for someone to make sense of this mess. “You know, I never thought that I wanted a tattoo, but it’s really growing on me.” She told her friend as she settled into the plush leather sofa and tucked her legs under her. “How sore will it be?”

Emily smiled down at her friend as she brought over two mugs of coffee and sat beside her. “That depends. Your shoulder blades will hurt like a bitch, your spine too, but the rest of it should be alright.” She gave a small shrug of her tattooed shoulder before smiling at the girl. “It’s a physical pain you can do something with, though.” Emily’s voice was soft again, as though she was ready for Carmen to bolt any second. “We can make it smaller if you wanted, though. Four separate tattoos in places with the least pain.” It was an offer of an out and Carmen knew she should take it.

“No.” She heard herself say. Her voice sounding strong and confident and nothing at all like hers. “I want it between my shoulder blades. As we discussed.” “You were drunk.”

“And?”

“We don’t have to do this. I take back the dare.”

Carmen shook her head vehemently. “No, we’re doing this. I’m here.”

“I can’t do it all in one go tonight. I can do the outline but the shading and the colour and a other things will have to be done tomorrow or whenever you decide to come back.” Emily shrugged her shoulders, looking down into the cup. “It’s not something I want you to regret.”

“I won’t. I trust you to give me something incredible, Ems.” She smiled brightly, the noise in her head fading until there was a quiet that rivalled the shop. “You do have a copy of the sketch here, don’t you?”

“Of course I do. I have the transfer ready, but Carmen, it’s sore. It’s a huge piece and it’ll be your first. At least let me give you something smaller to begin with so that you know the pain involved and what it’s like. I can’t leave you with an unfinished tattoo.” Emily shook her head again and got up, setting her cup on the table and heading towards the chrome table, grabbing her sketch book. She settled on the sofa again and opened the sketch pad, looking up at her friend. “Inner wrist. Something Simple.”

oooh good question <3 well like i said i'm discovering i've covered way more ground in tv over the last few years (which i'm gonna rectify soooooonnnnnn i think, got a lot of exciting recs from that recent tag game!!) so this is pitifully basic, but like in terms of what i'm thinking about Right This Moment:

the hitcher – slightly deranged about this ever since i saw it last week, a movie perfectly tuned to my preferences <3 love love LOVE the main performances & the dreamy atmosphere & the cinematography; just! the americana of it all!! plus there is soooo much to dig into, like the folkloric resonances (i mean the vanishing hitchhiker story HELLO), the gay panic (as in the actual original homophobic meaning) every shot of the first half hour is just LACED with, that scene where he puts the coins over his eyes in the diner.... obsessssssssssed.

the black phone – okay so i watched this last night & it might fade from the faves over the next few days but rn i can't stop Picking at it. genuinely Disturbed me a couple times so 🙈👍 ethan hawke ATE, the little girl playing the sister KILLED it, and my friend pj should've had more screentime so the sets of siblings could parallel each other or something but wcyd ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i am a little I Can Fix It about some of its clunkier plot points, but the main conceit of the phone fucked soooooo hard i can forgive it 💖

it 2017 – listen. i have been feeling this rewatch approaching all summer & as soon as i get my grubby hands on a projector (as god intended this movie to be watched <3), august is going to be thee month for it!!! idk it just has a very dear place in my heart 💕 like everyone else i did have a 2019 breakdown despite its many Many flaws, but the first one remains That Bitch w/ the perfect pacing & ending... coming of age film that just happens to have a clown in it babey!! also always going to care about eddie kaspbrak unfortunately 😔

nausicaä of the valley of the wind – my fave ghibli movie!! What Is There To Say. it was the first one i saw before i was aware everyone went insane about like hmc & princess monoke (which i also adore!!), so at first i was just Captivated by the animation genius & the Weirdness & the design of those bugs... it just plucks at something in me, like this is PRECISELY the kind of post-apocalyptic story i can enjoy, like what a coherent & hopeful environmental message that's, well, not subtle but certainly managed with a very deft touch!!!

fight club – sorry for being a film bro :/ anyway go look at this important piece of LGBT history

the death of stalin – love a comedy where everything falls apart around & also due to a bunch flailing back-stabbing incompetent idiots, so of course an armando iannucci joint always hits the spot <3 just SUCH alarming pettiness & cruelty that you have to laugh in the face of it ohhhh my godddddd

southern comfort – okay so kinda cheating with this docu, but it just impacted me sooooooo deeply the first time i saw it & i still go back and rewatch every once in a while. despite how sad it gets at the end, it actually is one of those things that gives me Real hope bc the whole thing is just about love & community & the radical Comfort transness allows you to find in yourself 💕💕💞💖 i would definitely rec it to absolutely everyone, it's only 90 mins & absolutely Life-Changing; i think there was a clip going round here a while ago about how affirming t4t love can be, and imo that just sums up the whole vibe. rest in power robert eads ✊😔

fire walk with me – well this is my favourite movie of all time despite the fact that i can NEVER ever watch it again ✌️ like i am well aware that it is technically kinda all over the place, what with david seeing fit to make the first half hour just "fbi procedural david bowie cameo now THIS character says something ominous & incomprehensible" but also. i Do Not Care bc the next hour + a half made me cry so hard it took me like 5 hrs to watch it; jesus CHRIST she was just a kid who needed someone to reach out and help her!!! laura i would have done so much cocaine with you & kept you alive forever!!!!!! also lynch's weird cryptic storytelling just appeals to me personally bc the way the meaning comes more from the audience's emotional response makes it kinda work on the same level as a folk tale for me, which i loveeeeeeeeeee unpicking; saw a post once about fwwm being structured like the saint's life of a martyr and !!! that is exactly It!

stardust – an all-time favourite, i mean the costumes! the pacing! the fun twists on fantasy tropes! the sheer CAMPINESS of it all!!! the way the plotlines converge in the end WOWED me as a child and to this day every time i watch another fantasy movie i'm like. Well You're Not Stardust Are You :/

& honourable mention to those films always occupying some part of my brain, that i can mouth along with from memory just because they are so comforting to me: tsn, the princess bride, 10 things i hate about you, pride 2014, bend it like beckham, saw (this nearly made the main list but like. too obvious.), the parent trap (1998 version), the karate kid
