Phoenix Wright x framed!reader

A rewrite of a oneshot I wrote about 6 years ago. Also because I was looking at Ace Attorney again, haha

You sighed softly as you leaned back in your holding cell. Why were you in a cell? Well, you were currently being held in custody for a crime that you didn’t even commit! You were being framed, but you just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, as cliche as that sounds.

“Y/n L/n, come on, you have a visitor.” Confused, you got up to see who your little visitor was, since you didn’t think anyone would come and check up on you. However, when you stepped into the room, you immediately knew who it was when you saw that familiar spiky hair and blue suit.

“Phoenix? Is that you?” You walked up to the glass window, and on the other side, was indeed your friend, Phoenix Wright himself. You two have been friends for a few years now, so it was nice to see him here for you.

“I heard about what happened, and I knew you couldn’t have done it, Y/n. I’m going to get you out of here, I promise.”

“I trust you to defend me.” You smiled faintly as you sat down in the chair, looking back at your friend.

“Alright, Y/n, tell me what happened.” You nodded and told him everything from the beginning, where you were at the time of the incident, and anything else that you thought may be helpful.

“And that’s everything I know that happened.” You rubbed the back of your head.

“Don’t you worry, Y/n. Like I said, I believe you, and I know you wouldn’t have done such a thing. I’m going to go investigate and see what I can find.” You nodded and stood up, and so did he, you being brought back to your cell, and him leaving to investigate the crime scene. You trusted him to get you out of this mess, as you wait for him to return to ask any other questions.

A few days have passed since then, and it was the day of your trial. You were a little nervous as you paced back and forth, but stopped as you felt a hand on your shoulder.

“You’re going to make a rut in the floor if you keep pacing like that.” You heard Phoenix say as he was beside you now.

“Oh yeah?” You looked back at him for a moment before looking back down at the floor.

“You’re going to be fine, Y/n, I promise.”

“I know, but I just can’t help to be a little nervous.” You rubbed the back of your head, looking back at him.

“I know, but like I said, I’m going to get you out of here.”

“And I trust you, Phoenix.” You took his hands into your own. “This may not be a good time to ask you this, but, uh… well… never mind, it can wait.”

“What is it, Y/n?” He looked back at you, curious to what you wanted to ask him, but before he could ask anything else, he was interrupted, letting the two of you know the trial was starting. You let go of his hands, and headed into the courtroom. Phoenix looked a bit worried about you, but shook it off and headed into the courtroom as well.

As the trial progressed, there was something you kept thinking about, and that was your feelings for Phoenix. While it was the weirdest time to be thinking about something like that, it just wouldn’t leave your mind. It was then you decided that you were going to finally tell him once this was all over. This time, you weren’t going to back out.

After the trial, you were pacing a bit as you waited for Phoenix. He had made true of his promise and had gotten you a not guilty verdict! So now you are a free person, but there was still something you had to do.

“You’re free now, but you still look nervous about something, Y/n. What did you do?” You heard Phoenix say as he walked into the room. “You’re going to make me nervous, and I don’t even know what’s going on.”

“Oh, no, no, it’s nothing bad, I promise.”

“Oh, good. You had me worried for a moment there.”

“Remember when I said I had something to ask you? Before the trial started?”

“Oh, yeah, I almost forgot about that. What did you want to say, Y/n?”

“Well… you know we’ve been friends for a while now, yeah?”

“Yeah?”

“You see…” you pressed your fingers together in a nervous manner, before taking a deep breath, “I… really like you, Phoenix, but in a more than friends way. I have for a while but I was just afraid you wouldn’t feel the same way, but after seeing you come to help me out made me think it’s time to tell you how I feel. I… understand if you don’t feel the same way, of course.” You rubbed the back of your head, looking away from him.

Phoenix, on the other hand, had to take a few moments to process your words, and your confession. You loved him? It certainly was a lot to take in, but he knew one thing: that he loved you too. You were starting to take his silence as a rejection, so you were about to say something else, until he took your hand into his own.

“Y/n… I wasn’t expecting this, not on a day like today, but… I love you too.”

“You do?”

“I do.” He nodded, looking at you with a faint smile on his face. “Now come on… let’s get out of here.”

“Right. Could we maybe go get something to eat? It’s about lunch time now.”

“Yeah, let’s go get lunch.” You nodded, and the two of you walked out of the courthouse hand in hand to get lunch, and spend the rest of the day together.

Phoenix, Edgeworth, and Franziska with an s/o who is Gumshoe’s sibling and is really smart

Phoenix Wright

Phoenix met you while he was at the scene of a crime. Gumshoe was there, having already interrogated the witness. He didn’t recognize you, so he decided to ask you a few questions.

He was pleasantly surprised at how much different you were from your brother and the two of you quickly hit it off, discussing and looking over the crime scene together. Bouncing ideas off of each other like a racquetball.

When you started dating, Gumshoe was shocked. He was not on board at first.

“You’re whaaaaat?! You can’t date him! That’s aiding the enemy!”

After things settle down and Gumshoe sees how well you and Phoenix get along, he ends up apologizing to you both because he can see that you are great for each other. Over time, Gumshoe’s relationship with Phoenix grew stronger through all of the cases they went through and the fact that they were both connected through you.

Miles Edgeworth

Edgeworth met you when Detective Gumshoe excitedly introduced you to him.

Gumshoe believed that you and Edgeworth would get along due to the fact that “you’re both super smart.” And he was right for once. You and Edgeworth got along very well with a bit of time, mostly bonding over your brother’s incompetence at first.

When you began dating, Gumshoe was over the moon that two of his favorite people were now closer than ever. He used his sleeve to try and dry the happy tears from his eyes.

“I’m not crying! I’m just really happy for you both!”

Gumshoe is very happy to see Edgeworth loosen up a bit. What could be better than two of his favorite people and himself being one big, happy family? His relationship with Edgeworth didn’t change much, at least while on the job. But when Edgeworth would visit you and Gumshoe outside of work, he did let his guard down a bit more.

Franziska von Karma

Franziska noticed quickly when Gumshoe had brought someone she had never met to one of the crime scenes.

Franziska was really surprised that the scruffy detective’s sibling was so much more tolerable to be around than him. She even allowed you to stay, as long as you helped to keep your brother in line.

When you started dating, Gumshoe was a concerned because that meant he’d be seeing Franziska more often. When he approached you about it, he seemed a bit nervous, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

“If she really makes you happy, pal, I’m all for it. I just hope she’s a bit less… whip-y.”

You are pleasantly surprised when Franziska and Gumshoe’s relationship becomes better. Of course, Franziska does not tolerate him being a buffoon while they are working together, but she does seem to try to become closer with him when outside of the workplace… in her own strange way.

Without warning, you bury your face in his neck and bite down hard and he near howls, head still held back by your powerful grip. "Dear, I-" he begins only to be cut off by another sharp bite to his shoulder. "Mistress," you correct him, "And be quiet now. I'm marking my territory." He gasps when your teeth clamp down again, his clothed cock stiffening under you. "Y-yes, mistress," Lang gasps, surrendering to your touch.

Sherlock

The first time he came across you probably would be investigating a case. He was told of an inventor that someone went to that wasn't him (or Iris) and immediately had to see this competition.

He ended up having a rather pleasant discussion with you over some things you were tinkering with and ended up getting some ideas of his own. He came to the conclusion that he would have to visit you again, to see how you're progressing of course.

The first few times of him arriving was to update you on how his own tinkering is going and to gloat about the things that he has invented (with Iris's help). Just trying to make himself look good, not that he'd admit that.

He definitely did not intend to stay as long as he did talking to you. But he had another pleasant time.

Unfortunately, he'd grown to realize that he was running out of excuses to see you. Not that he needs an excuse to see you. But why would The Great Sherlock Holmes need to see another inventor about something when he could do it himself?

Thankfully an excuse came up where Iris needed something but it wasn't readily available at his home. So he took it upon himself to go to his inventor friend to find the part! He deflated slightly when Naruhodo offered to go with him because he wanted to see you alone. But he accepted.

Ended up deflating more as he saw you chatting happily with Naruhodo about whatever inventions you were making. Sherlock didn't even get the opportunity to ask you about Iris's part because Naruhodo asked instead!

When you turned to ask Sherlock a question about a case, that's when he sprung back to life as he answered with great detail to try and impress you. He didn't even notice the expression on Naruhodo's face.

That's when Naruhodo chimed in and mentioned how great Sherlock is. Sherlock had a bright smile at that, hoping that let you know how amazing he is. That's when Naruhodo mentioned Sherlock being stumped on a detail that was not true.

He was ready to object to being "stumped" on any detail but then you stated you would be happy to help. Sherlock felt himself freeze for a second at that before he coughed into his fist to hide his flustered state before offering to discuss the details at a nearby cafe.

You had agreed and Naruhodo quickly made an excuse about going back to get the part to Iris, leaving the two of you alone to go to the coffee shop. The cold weather was Sherlock's excuse for being flustered and have a pounding heart.

Videogame: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

Manga: Spy x Family

Once again, it's been a very quiet and boring week. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance... or the inspiration, to talk about dinosaurs in a blog post of any sort, but I'm forcing myself to write something this week, so at least I'll be recommending some media to consume. This week I'll be discussing a videogame I just started yesterday and a new manga I'm fairly deep into now.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

Ace Attorney is not a series I have a long history with, but each game I have played, I have enjoyed immensely. The Ace Attorney games are a unique blend of puzzle game and visual novel that have fun and unique characters, intricate stories and interactive puzzles. You play the role of a defence attorney, often in murder cases, who takes a large part in the investigation process of gathering evidence, uncovering the true process by which the victim lost their life.

The Great Ace Attorney takes place in the Victorian era. Players take control of the ancestor of Phoenix Wright, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, working as an Attorney in Japan's still developing law system, and also travelling to Great Britain. The game is very rich in the culture of its age and characters are dripping in the fun design and personality the series is known for.

As I mentioned above, I only started the game yesterday, and am just barely two cases into the game, but I am having a blast already. As someone who's only previous AA games were the Phoenix Wright trilogy, I was unsure the artstyle would work as well with 3D models and environments, but the game looks fantastic and very cinematic. So far, each new case has introduced new investigatory gimmicks such as reading the reactions of witnesses, and formulating deductions with Ace Detective Herlock Shomes. I'm looking forward to what else this game has in store.

This particular game for the Switch is actually a compilation of two games, The Great Ace Attorney Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2 Resolve. So if you've played an Ace Attorney game before, or have been interested in the series for a while, definitely give this a go.

Spy x Family

Spy stories are fun and interesting. Especially when they're the type of story where the Spy in question tries to live a normal life outside of espionage. There's all sorts of hijinks where they have to tell silly lies to hide their identity from friends and family. But what if their loved ones were also hiding secrets of their own? This is the Spy x Family.

The Spy we follow in this story, codename Twilight, has to establish a fake family with a school age child to get access to a very elusive target. This will be a long term project, so Agent Twilight will have time to grow accustomed to his role of father and husband Loid Forger, while training his surrogate wife and daughter to their roles. The daughter he adopts ends up being a girl named Anya who secretly has the power to hear the thoughts of those around her. The woman who he asks to play the role of wife is Yor Briar, who agrees to this arrangement with the pretence of stopping her brother from worrying about her... and is also a secret contract killer.

So a Spy, an Assassin, a Mind Reader play family, and nobody wants to tell anyone else their secret identities for fear of their missions falling apart. Loid's attempt to steal government secrets, Yor's cover story for her contract killings, and Anya's.... wish stay a family. Through her telepathy, Anya knows every secret of her parents. And she does use that information to help their missions however she can, but she can't let them know she knows or else she might be sent back to the orphanage. The secret lives of all three overlap a bit, but they always manage to keep the most crucial details from the others in their family.

The manga's artstyle leads itself well to both sides of its story. High action, combat and espionage on one side, and adorable cutsey family time on other side. It's not a very long manga at this point, only 50 chapters or so at the time of writing, but it is still updating weekly I think. (Edit: bi-weekly)

If this concept has piqued your interest at all, I definitely recommend Spy x Family to read. It's a very endearing and exciting story that i look forward to reading more of.

• The “Demon” Prosecutor himself—Miles Edgeworth, a stoic and the adopted son of Manfred Von Karma, yet too his core he’s just a lonely man who is in desperate need of comfort from the one he deems close.

• Miles is Protective, Controlling, Self-Aware type, such traits could be traced back to his trauma of losing his father and the mental abuse he endured from Manfred.

• Always on your guard Miles is protective of you, he knows that danger of his profession as a prosecutor, the people he put inside a cell for their crimes could lead to someone seeking revenge because of it, he just can’t risk you getting wounded because of him so with that he mostly wants you to stay at his house, and that link to his isolating trait.

• Miles grew up lonely, even if he was with Franziska he just couldn’t get rid of the loneliness and guilt that hunts him till his early years of adulthood, the nightmares the will come and hunt him at night yet all changed when you came to his life.

• Let’s say you were a childhood friend the same with Larry and Phoenix, but after he left you guys, there was this aching gap in his heart when he saw your downhearted look, yet through out the years he managed himself to get busy to forget the past, but when he met you under some kind of circumstance, may it be you’re now a working detective or any of that case, but it will only conclude to thing; Miles is hit with a wave of nostalgia, the hidden memories he forced himself to close opened up like it was a pandora box in his own record. Looking back on your encounter with him it was truly a pandora box—memories and feelings that aren’t meant to be opened even once.

• You slowly pried yourself into his life, maybe bringing him his files, coffee or even making small conversation with him, at first he would only talk professionally like Manfred taught him but overtime those late night talks that were rare before are now a frequent to you guys, it may have taken a while to open up those steel wall that was in front of his heart, for you it was nice seeing the uptight prosecutor open up letting his bottle up feelings spill time to time but for him whenever you make conversation deep into the night after a day of hard work he falls deeper for you, I mean this man hasn’t open up to someone in many years plus the trauma he experienced was like a lock to it, letting go of it little by little manage to make him feel comfortable around you, sooner or later you got the red suited prosecutor prodigy looking at flowers to give you first in the morning.

• Miles at the beginning is absolutely CLUELESS about how to court you, but if we were talking about “new to the courtroom bench”, twenty year old Miles, Franziska had to stop her self from absolutely bawling, screaming at Miles for how pathetic his courting ways is (she doesn’t know if she should hit herself or Miles with her whip).

• But if we are now talking about the more mature Miles (after the whole re-trail of DL-6), he would at least know some kind of knowledge of courting, still awkward but he kind of knows what to do, he would also open up more towards you which made you much more happy.

• His attachment towards you ran way to deep that once you were both in a relationship he is mostly controlling and isolating you. He would always say in the most kindest but modest voice that you could stay at his house, he is a prosecutor that earns bags of money, if you didn’t think things through and agreed to live with him expect a lot of surveillance over you, especially if you’re in the dangerous working fields as he is, if you’re a defense attorney he would only pile your desk with safe to even beginner cases the same if you were a prosecutor but if you manage to get a mildly even dangerous case he would be on your side 24/7, heck he would steal the spotlight so people won’t target you, now if you were a detective, he would make sure that he has some sort of control over your workplace, manipulating the chief of your district to only give you only small cases that are near him.

• If you ever found out what he was doing and ever decided to call things off from him, he would feel devastated. He would look at you even though his eyes are downcast as you pack your things up—such grave mistake you’ve made.

• Miles would let you leave for a while making you feel safe without him for now. Miles knew what power he hold and he has a moral compass to follow and the principals that were forced upon him were dangerous and he promise himself that he would never cross that line ever again, that is partially true but when you left it took him days not to immediately bring you back, he must think logically like he always have done.

• He knows how this is absolutely wrong but he can’t help it! He’s doing this all just for you. He would let you live your daily life it pained him that in the outside what you did-leaving him-seemed like it did not affect you at all, but slowly but surely Miles would only let you depend on him. You losing your job, because for some reason the evidences keeps on getting lost when it’s on you’re care, mixed files which caused a plunder on the court, the court gave you many times heck even Edgeworth (using his power) even gave you so many chance which was very odd, but in the end you were temporarily were not allowed to go near a court, which made you broke and as a cherry on top you’re now a prime suspect of a murder and you can’t get yourself an attorney for some reason. That’s where Miles shows up he would play innocent asking question of how you went downhill as if he was the one planning for your downfall.

• Like I said Miles is always guilty for feeling this way, he even calls himself "inhuman" and you don't deserve this kind of “love" and definitely doesn’t deserve someone him and because of such way of thinking, in the first few months of him knowing that he has this “feeling” towards you he would drown himself with work, so much that he forgets to eat, because he just want to get distracted from all the things he's feeling but it only got worse, he just could forget about you, your smile, the way you make him so fuzzy but he also could forget the way his dark desires just want to kidnap you because you were getting too close with you co-worker.

• Miles will kidnap you when necessary. He has already seen some traumatic things that he just wants to prevent you from experiencing or suffering the same way he did, but he knows that he has to somehow mold you into the person he wants you to be, yea he feels like ass when he says that outloud.

• Miles would have you on his palm no matter what. Yes, Miles would let you go outside but only with him! He can’t let people get near you heck even the people he deem close have a massive limitation when it comes towards you, that only includes Franziska and Phoenix. Larry one time hit on you and before you can even say anything you can feel a hand on your shoulder as Larry sees Miles staring deep into his soul with an icy glare, it it Larry of the mood of the room suddenly dropped, Miles would excuse the both of you from that room so no more eyes are on you.

• Speaking of eyes, Miles may not show it but he wants the media to have some sort of coverage on the both of you, Miles is definitely not a big fan of PDA but he would make sly like moves in public like kissing you hand as he goes to a trial, or he will intentionally show of his ring if you guys are married.

• Kidnapping you would take a lot of preparation but of coarse him kidnapping you will be a last resort maybe you’re leaving the country or such, he would have a heavy secured mansion out of the city to keep you in and to keep your screams of help when you finally woke up after being drugged by him.

• To escape him you must be incredibly smart to do so, months of preparation and the trickiest part is to make sure that Miles won’t catch on, but you manage to escape then run, run for your life and escape the country, change your name even but you must count your days and luck because Miles has connections.

• Miles way of keeping you on your place if by obviously-by isolating you, he would leave you in a basement with not human contact with a blind fold on so you can truly depend on him. He would give you food but since your hands are shackled he has to feed you, and when taking a bath he would till keep the folds on (so you can’t see his blushing face). Miles as prosecutor needed to know how to read people or else he can’t through the session of court he knows how to pull strings especially when it comes to your mental psyche.

• Miles would also pry himself to your personal life to be specific your relatives. He would act as a dashing but stoic man he is so he can make your family fawn over him, he would make sure that he all have their approval when it comes to marrying you and of coarse they fall prey to his plans. He would guilt trip or even blackmail you so you can never leave him, better make sure you act properly or else your younger sibling suddenly will be a suspect of something severe.

• You truly know how to drive him to his limits, every action he does feels like more shackles are on top of him but he can’t stop himself oh how he became a guilty prosecutor for you. . .

Tea on hand, as your friend-Miles Edgeworth sat beside you, the fine china teapot was in front of you so does are a bunch of papers. Marriage papers to be exact and beside it was a school ID’s of your siblings and information about which school they attended to.

Argument was may have been spilled but not the cups that Miles prepared for this moment. You knew that you’ve lost to him, he knows your weak spot and he has more power than you, at the hand all you can do is sit down and sign your name on those papers are you sit down with dried tears on your cheek.

Let’s run this back shall we?

Tea on hand, as your future husband-Miles Edgeworth sat beside you. Your lips touched the drink and he offered you even though you know that he putted something in it when you started feeling woozy.

Miles then touched your head and leaned in for a kiss and before you passed out he heard a sinister whisper.

"Y/N my spouse, please try to understand me, the world is a cruel place for someone so precious like you, all I'm trying to do is save you from the horrible things that might happen. . ."

can i have platonic herlock sholmes with a young reader who looked up to him and wants to be like him (the herlock in iris' works anyways), that they begged to be his student/assistant and won't stop until he say yes? but in the future they end up to be the one who done most of the works rather than him? basically like the friendship between ryuunosuke and herlock gahbshs

a/n: hi anon!! i'm soooo glad to hear you were once on the same boat as me !! i get flashbacks to when i first got into dgs and had to scroll through mainline ace attorney imagine blogs to get to the dgs stuff (what a time oh my god)

anyways !! i hope you like how this turned out, (s)herlock is literally my favourite character so i have fun writing for him ♡

sherlock gaining a new assistant !

looking at you and what your attitude towards things really did remind herlock of his little iris at home.

he thought of you as his little twin sibling ! you were literally identical in personality (let's hope gregson doesn't scream his head off at the sight).

and he takes full responsibility of caring for you while you're in the background of an investigation, making sure you don't get hurt.

he doesn't mind you staying during these investigations, if he can zone out gregson yapping his head off at him then he can handle your presence at a scene with ease.

he can be a bit stuck up (most of the time) with the exception of ryuunosuke and him engaging in interrogations together so if you offer to help with star-filled eyes he will hesitate before saying no, saying that his method of thinking always leads him to the truth.

which is true to some extent.

if your thinking is what helps reveal a big clue then he'll obviously congratulate you, ruffling your hair like he does with iris.

but on the inside he's a bit pouty and competes with you to try and reveal the truth of the case at hand.

if you ask him to join by his side like the watson from the sherlock holmes novels he'll refuse again at first because of how young you are.

and because he doesn't want you to get hurt, he does care for you !! it would hurt him if he let you get injured during an investigation.

you keep begging and trying to prove him wrong, finding more clues to crimes. he can't deny that you're incredibly smart but his heart is dominant in thinking.

sometimes he tries to ask you for 'help' but it almost never relates to the case at hand.

"okay, i need your help in cleaning wagahai's litter box as i go interrogate the culprit at the gaol."

"huh? and what does that have t-"

"ah i can't dilly dally! visiting hours are almost finished!"

and then he scurries off with you alone with iris in 221b.

you find out through iris that he never let's you go on investigations with him because there's a chance you could get hurt and she went through the same thing when she was younger.

but she compliments your ability and tells you that you shouldn't let him get to your head !! you should keep pestering him because it will definitely benefit both you and him.

and so you do ! you rush up to him as he gets home, taking his coat off and turning around at your eager face scares him and he hits his head on the coat rack.

taking a moment to recover herlock asks why you look so happy.

"was cleaning dear wagahai's litter box so ex-"

"can i help you in investigations ????"

he sighs, this again ? he can't give in to your demands, even if there was evidence that you were a good assistant and knew how to defend yourself.

"i'd rather not have this conversation at this moment ! i'm absolutely wrecked."

"when you're tired i can help keep up investigations you were already doing work on ! that's what partners do, right ?"

herlock sighs and nods, finally giving into your demands and goes over to the couch to lay in his tired state.

he only tried to get you to be quiet by giving you permission in his current state, he'd soon be reminded once he has to go to another investigation.

wondering why you're putting on your coat and grabbing your satchel, he realises that the permission he gave you wasn't part of a dream.

sigh.. let's see how this turns out for their first day. herlock thinks to himself.

surprisingly, he doesn't mind your help this time around ! he contemplates calling your duo the 'dreamteam' because of how good your chemistry is together.

interrogating people at crime scenes wasn't as fun as they were now ! your little jokes and jabs at him are perfect at making him laugh as you pursue the truth !

"my, that was exhilarating ! wouldn't you agree ? you did absolutely amazing work today, little y/n !" he says as he ruffles your hair.

although you do most of the work, sherlock thinks the work is evenly spread between the both of you.

and you don't mind doing a little more work ! you're excited to do work with The great detective of london !

and you two are known for being rowdy crime busters, being included as the main headline in the newspapers !

sherlock shouldn't have been so harsh and he regrets that, he's glad to have you as his little sidekick and wouldn't know what to do without you.

This is a blog that I will be running as a hobby, meaning that when I have schoolwork I will be a lot less active because I'm at a crucial point in my education and I can't afford to slip up on that.

If anyone sends a request that breaks my rules, it will be ignored.

I maintain every right to decline a request if I don't feel comfortable writing it, however, I will be sure to make a post about this if that is the case.
