[Image ID: The Aphorix flag created by coiner Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023. The flag consists of three vertical stripes and one central, horizontal stripe. From left to right, the vertical stripes are brown, bronze and light yellow. The central stripe is blush pink. /.End ID]
Aphorix: Describing a Non-Aphorian individual that finds an abinarine gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.
A sibling term of Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix & Neuix.
Etymology
Aphorix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix. Femix, Gynandrix and Neuix.
From English, “Aphor” from “Aphorian” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Aphorix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.
Elaboration
Aphorix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not aphorian, but has abinarine traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.
More simply, an Aphorix individual:
Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Aphorian.
Has traits of abinarinity attributed to them by other individuals.
Considers having traits of abinarinity attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.
Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.
An Aphorix individual is not apathetic to an abinarine gender attribution, but instead enjoys, appreciate, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts abinarine traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.
Flag
The Aphorix flag was created to match the Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix and Neuix flags. The flag consists of three vertical bars and a central, horizontal bar, forming a tri-color flag with a median line. At the left is the darkest yellow, becoming lighter as it moves right. The median stripes is beige in color. The colors have the following meanings:
The brown, bronze and light yellow stripes represents abinarine gender attribution.
The light pink stripe represents not being an Aphorian.
The Aphorix flag was created by Gent of Gender-Jargon in 2023.
Note: Gender attribution is not necessarily based upon one’s expression, but is more frequently an assumption made about an individual’s gender identity without their input. Being an assumption, it is not always correct, good, wanted or warranted. Affirming attributions are congruent with one’s perception of themselves. Incorrect and undesired attributions are incongruent with this perception and are often distressing. Aphorix should not be used to describe anyone who does not like abinarinity being attributed to them, as it would be misdenoting on multiple levels

nonbine/enbine/nbine/nonbinarine ✦ midbine/midbinarine abine/abinarine ✦ atrine/atrinarine
nonbine/enbine/nbine/nonbinarine : nonbinary gender quality.
midbine/midbinarine : midbinary gender quality.
abine/abinarine : abinary gender quality.
atrine/atrinarine : atrinary gender quality.
(Nonbine, enbine, nbine, midbine, abine, and atrine are terms I came up with on my own. I wasn't able to find anything on them, but I don't know, it could be possible people have came up with these words on their own before too.
Nonbinarine, midbinarine, and abinarine come from here, here, & here. I came up with atrinarine as a alt term based on these naming conventions, instead of the one I came up with above.)
──────────✦──────────
I wanted to make some alt gender quality flags (and in the case of atrine, there wasn't a pre-existing flag I could find at all) :)
──────────✦──────────
Nonbine gets it colours from the nonbinary flag, and the other 3 use my alt midbinary, abinary, and atrinary flags.
They're arranged in a 5 stripe gradient pattern, since that's the format other gender quality flags use (for reference, here's the masculine, feminine, neutral, androgynous, and aporine flags I'm talking about). But, I also flipped them so they'd be vertical, since I think the horizontal ones might look too similar to my original alt midbinary, abinary, and atrinary flags. Also, these binarine, midbinarine, and abinarine flags use vertical stripes, so it matches those too. I also think it helps them look more unique in general, since pride flags typically don't use vertical stripes.
Also, there are alt terms for these terms I didn't list (just so it wouldn't be so cluttered), feel free to use these flags for those too.
──────────✦──────────
Here's an alt nonbine flag, using horizontal stripes instead of vertical,

Can there be a transabinarine flag? Like transagenrine, transaporine, and transextrine, but abinarine (abinary gender quality)
Transabinarine!!
Tumblr media
Transabinarine is a term used to describe a transgender individual who identifies fully or partially as abinarine. It can be considered an umbrella term for individuals who transition to an abinarine identity.

Nonbinarine Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Non-binarine, enbinine, enbanly, nonbinine, enbale, or nonbinarish (non-binarish): relating to qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of nonbinariness/being non-binary; or nonbinary-presenting.
Term inspired from abinarine and midbinarine. Colors (except grey and nongreyed white) from @isobug's nonbinary flag redesign. See also: extrine.

Note
can you do a midbinarine/midbinarish and a binarine/binarish (or aptobinarine/aptobinarish) flags? similar to abinarine/abinarish, but with midbinary and binary/aptobinary. it would be the counterpart to extrine I guess
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are two ideas I had, anon!
Some gender quality flags, including abinarine, use the five-stripe vertical format. Others use a nice gradient with five or six stripes. I thought it'd be nice to have both options. I hope you like them! 💙💚

Trans Flags
I made a post with 4 striped trans flags a while ago, but I wanted to revisit it with some new edits/flags.
(Not all of these are mine, I just like having everything together as a set. I'll also be splitting them into sections, since there are a lot of flags.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transmasculine/transmasc ★ transfeminine/transfem ★ transnonbine/transenbine/transnbine/transnonbinarine
(Note: nonbine, enbine, nbine, and nonbinarine are words for nonbinary gender quality, nonbinary versions of masculine, feminine, etc. The first 3 I came up with, and nonbinarine comes from here.)
✦ All these flags follow these trans flag formats. The white and grey black stripes are the same for all of them, and the only thing that changes are the center 2 stripes, for the respective gender qualities.
The transmasc and transfem flags are the same as their originals.
Transnonbine was made by me. I used the yellow and purple stripes from the nonbinary flag.
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transandrogynous ★ transgenderless ★ transneutral/transneu
Transandrogynous is just a slight colour edit of the original. (I changed the bottom stripe to grey and adjusted the purples.)
Transgenderless is the same as the original.
For transneutral I chose green, as that's a common colour for neutrality. So it's like this variant of transneu.
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transmaverine/transmav ★ transxenine/transxen ★ transbine/transbinarine
(Note: bine/binarine is binary gender quality. Binarine comes from here, but I came up with bine follow the same naming convention as nbine.)
Transmav is pretty much the same as the original, though I changed the yellow and orange to be slightly darker, for more contrast.
Transxenine is quite different from the original. Instead of copper colours, I used a light purple blue colour scheme, just because I felt those colours were fitting.
Transbine uses the colours from this binarine flag. (I chose the lighter colours so it wouldn't look too similar to the transmascfem flag.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transmidbine/transmidbinarine ★ transabine/transabinarine ★ transatrine/transatrinarine
(Note: midbine/midbinarine is midbinary gender quality, abine/abinarine is abinary gender quality, and atrine/atrinarine is atrinary gender quality. I came up with midbine/abine/atrine following the naming format of nbine, and derived atrinarine from midbinarine and abinarine (which weren't made by me).)
Transmidbine, transabine, and transatrine all use the colours from my alt midbinary/abinary/atrinary flags. Besides this transabinarine flag, which uses a different format, I don't think flags for these exist, so they're pretty much new designs.
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media
transaporine ★ transoutherine
Transaporine is fairly different from its original. Instead of using bright red orange, I used the colours from this aporine flag.
Transoutherine is also kind of different from its original, mainly it's the colour configuration. I used this outherine flag as reference.
──────────✦──────────
From here on are combos of the above flags/terms :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transnbinemasc ★ transandrogynousmasc ★ transgenderlessmasc
(Note: transandrogynousmasc is also called transandromasc. The wiki page lists transandromasc as both transandrogynous and transmasculine, so I assume andro is supposed to be a shortening of androgynous. However shortening it like that just means masculine, so I use androgynous instead so it's clearer.)
Transnbinemasc is a mix of the blues, yellow, and purple from the transmasc and transnbine flags.
Transandrogynousmasc is bluish purple, as a combo of the blues of transmasc and purples of transandrogynous. Same idea as the original, though I used slightly different colours.
Transgenderlessmasc is just greyish blue, as a combo of the grey from transgenderless and blue from transmasc.
(I don't think transnbinemasc and transgenderlessmasc have been made before, so those are new flags.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transneumasc ★ transmavmasc ★ transxenmasc
Transneumasc is just a edit of the original flag. (The colours are slightly lighter.)
Transmavmasc uses orange yellow from the transmav flag, and a adjusted blue from the transmasc flag.
Transxenmasc uses the purple from transxen, and the light blue from transmasc.
(I haven't found transmavmasc and transxenmasc before, so these are new flags too.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transnbinefem ★ transandrogynousfem ★ transgenderlessfem
(Note: same as the one about transandromasc, this one is also called transandrofem.)
For transnbinefem is a mix of the pinks, yellow, and purple from the transfem and transnbine flags.
Transandrogynousfem is a lot like the original, I just used slightly different colours.
Transgenderlessfem just uses a greyish pink, as a combo of the greys of transgenderless and pinks of transfem.
(Transnbinefem and transgenderlessfem are also new flags, as far as I'm aware, I wouldn't be surprised if similar flags have been made before, though perhaps just not in this format.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
transneufem ★ transmavfem ★ transxenfem
Transneufem is based off of my transneumasc flag, I chose a light peachy colour for it. The original is pretty different, it uses a bright red instead.
Transmavfem uses the same orange yellow from transmav, and the dark pink from transfem (which I adjusted the hue of, so it would match better with the orange).
Transxenfem uses the same light purple from transxen, and the light pink from transfem.
(Last note about this, but I transmavfem and transxenfem should be new too.)
──────────✦──────────
Tumblr media
transmascfem/transfemasc
Transmascfem flags have been made before, but not in this 4 stripe format (that I know of). I chose the dark pink from transfem, and the light blue from transmasc.
──────────✦──────────
There's also transoutherinemasc and transoutherinefem flags in the same 4 stripe style. I didn't make any though, since I couldn't figure out how to make it look. It's the same reason why I skipped out on making combos with transbine, transmidbine, transabine, transatrine, and transaporine, I just couldn't figure out a good design.
──────────✦──────────
I'll also note about the names, there's a lot of possible names for these terms, I didn't list all of them because there's a lot. So feel free to use these flags for alt terms, or come up with your own terms (as long as they mean the same thing).
Haha I typed a lot, I guess it's a kind of a masterpost / compilation post with all these links, I think it's nice to have everything together in a matching set like this anyways.

abin- | mbin- | bnin- atrin- | mtrin- | trin- ain- | ouin- | kein-
abin- / abinsexual / abinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves abine / abinarine (abinary gender quality).
mbin- / midbin- / mbinsexual / midbinsexual / mbinromantic / midbinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves midbine / midbinarine (midbinary gender quality).
bnin- / bninsexual / bninromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves bine / binarine (binary gender quality).
atrin- / atrinsexual / atrinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves atrine / atrinarine (atrinary gender quality).
mtrin- / midtrin- / mtrinsexual / midtrinsexual / mtrinromantic / midtrinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves midtrine / midtrinarine (midtrinary gender quality).
trin- / trinsexual / trinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves trine / trinarine (trinary gender quality).
ain- / ainsexual / ainromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves aporine (aporagender gender quality).
ouin- / ouinsexual / ouinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves outherine.
kein- / keinsexual / keinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves kenous (kenochoric gender quality).
-★-
The terms are prefixes basically, so they can be attached to any attraction ending (such as -rose/-romanticsexual, -tertiary, -platonic, -alterous, -sensual, -aesthetic, -physical, -emotional, and more). I only listed the -sexual and -romantic variations to keep it readable.
Tumblr media
(Copy and pasted from the first post)
For the definition of these terms, I reworded them a bit from common wiki definitions, but it follows the general idea I've seen in other posts discussing these terms.
Basically, when it comes to gender qualities, what counts as what can vary greatly between people. What one person considers masculine, feminine, androgynous, etc. can be really different from what another person considers it to be. Especially when you factor in things like different cultures, people with complex identities, or really queer people in general (as they can challenge such definitions).
Who's to determine what counts as what? Or say one definition matters more than another? I think it should be determined by the person in question. I can imagine a few issues otherwise. Wouldn't it be weird to put other people in boxes they don't identify with?
Also, these orientations aren't just being attracted to men, women, enben, etc., they're attractions to gender qualities (in either presentation or gender identity). So, for some examples, someone could consider themselves masculine while not being a man, and so be included under min-. It's the same for the others, someone could consider themselves maverine without being maverique. Or present femininely while being nonbinary. The combinations/examples are practically endless.
So the point of these labels is to be broad, and include those who want to be included, and exclude those who wouldn't want to consider themselves under that label.
Tumblr media
-in orientation flags :D [part 2 of 2] first post
Tumblr media
For the flags, I based them off of the 7 stripe -in orientation format, where it gradients to darker stripes on the outside, with a dark stripe in the center (minsexual, finsexual, ninsexual examples). I chose them because I thought the format looked really nice, and also because I don't know how to make symbols for these flags (again, if anyone wants to make symbol versions, feel free to do so). Unlike the original format though, the stripes on both sides don't mirror each other. I did this just because I wanted (more) colourful versions.
As for the colours, they're inspired (not exactly colour picked) by the corresponding gender quality flags. So abinarine for abin-, midbine for mbin-, binarine for bnin-, atrine for atrin-, midtrine for mtrin-, trine for trin-, aporine for ain-, outherine for ouin-, and kenous for kein-.

mbiaspec ✦ abiaspec ✦ atriaspec
mbiaspec / midbiaspec : an umbrella term for anyone on the midbinary spectrum. It includes all midbinary genders, partial midbinary genders, midbinary aligned and adjacent genders, and genders which are in some way similar to / resemblant of midbinity / midbinarity.
abiaspec : coining link. (Basically a abinary/abine/abinarine version of the others.)
atriaspec : an umbrella term for anyone on the atrinary spectrum. It includes all atrinary genders, partial atrinary genders, atrinary aligned and adjacent genders, and genders which are in some way similar to / resemblant of atrinity / atrinarity.
Tumblr media
Some iaspec flags :)
While organising all my flags I noticed there were a couple of terms that didn't have corresponding iaspec flags, so here they are.
(I also made similar posts with mtriaspec and triaspec)
The abiaspec one was just an alt flag I wanted to make, using the same colours as my abinary alt flag, so they'd all match.
For midbiaspec, I'm not actually sure if it's a new term or not. The only thing I found was the midbiaspec tag on a somewhat unrelated post, no flag or definition for it.
Tumblr media
The colours for all of these, like I mentioned, are based off of my midbinary/abinary/atrinary alt flags.
They're all 5 striped, have a light coloured center stripe, and gradient from light to dark stripes on the edges, just like the original iaspec flags.
I did adjust the colours a bit (mainly to be darker), so there'd be more contrast match the other iaspec flags better.
