I’ve never rant about all my favorites before….mostly because there are so many so I’ll try to keep this short! 😉

favorite time of year is FALL 🍁 love how the colors change and most of the bugs are gone. The weather isn’t too hot or too cold. You can sit outside and either read a book or go with a group of friends to a concert sitting on a blanket listening to music.

favorite books ? I love Jane Austin, Nicholas Sparks and lately I’ve been reading A Twisted Tale series (think Disney Princess stories only different outcomes)

favorite tv shows? I have 3 favorites Gilmore Girls will always be number 1- I know it’s off the air but I own the DVD collection so anytime I need a pickup I can always count on this show. Also NUMB3RS, love how he uses math to solve problems and crimes!! The Big Bang Theory- love those nerds! I’ve also gotten into watching some BL series and Kdrams.

favorite movies? 2 many to name all as movies are my escape from reality!!! So my 2 all time favorites are Sweet Home Alabama and Pride and Prejudice (all versions as I feel they add depth to the story)

favorite music/artist ~ well that’s a hard one … I love a variety of music 🎼 to be honest I listen to music based on my mood at the time. I’ve even listened to Christmas songs in the middle of summer. My Spotify has a lot of playlists just for that reason. Taylor Swift Pink Brad Paisley (fellow WV) to name a few. I’ve also started a playlist of songs from shows/movies I’ve watched. Recently I have had two people make me a playlist and I play those on repeat as well!

I’m obsessed with Halloween!! I actually have a lot of pop figures and decorations and even a tattoo of The Nightmare Before Christmas!

he says i hate everyone except you and that is addictive and that is kind of romantic and beautiful because you're young and you're kind of a sarcastic asshole too and you don't like bad boys, per say, but you don't really like good ones either. and you like that you were the exception, it felt like winning.

except life is not a romance book, and he was kind of being honest. he doesn't learn to be nice to your friends. he only tolerates your family. you have to beg him to come with you to birthday parties, he complains the whole time. you want to go on a date but - people are often there, wherever you're going. he's just so angry. about everything, is the thing. in the romance book, doesn't he eventually soften? can't you teach him, through your own sense of whimsy and comfort?

at first - you know introverts often need smaller friend groups, and honestly, you're fine staying at home too. you like the small, tidy life you occupy. you're not going to punish him for his personality type.

except: he really does hate everyone but you. which means he doesn't get along with his therapist. which means he has no one to talk to except for you. which means you take care of him constantly, since he otherwise has no one. which means you sometimes have to apologize for him. which means he keeps you home from seeing your friends because he hates them. you're the single exception.

about a decade from this experience, you'll type into google: how to know if a relationship is codependent.

“So,” Tim responded from where he was typing on his computer, mostly in civilian clothes save for his gauntlets and boots. The Red Robin outfit was haphazardly dropped across the couch and his pole leaning against the end. 

“Technically there’s proper procedures for clones…” Danny motioned to both himself and Ellie from where they sat on the counter, snacking on a plateful of scones. From Alfred, he was certain. 

“Technically, yes… but do we want to actually do that?” 

All three of them smiled, something almost feral in the motion. Of course not. They all had the same memories after all, and Bruce had just returned from the past, from exactly where and when Tim had said he was. Despite no one believing him, hence why they were in his boathouse, and not in the apartment or manor. 

“Think we can pull it off?” Ellie took a sip of tea, mischief swirling in her eyes. 

“Of course we can.” Both Danny and Tim spoke at once, one pulling up a new doc and the other pulling the whiteboard out from under a curtain. 

i swear sometimes i think people forget that Jon's s1 skeptic act was just that—an act. it was an act!!! he believes the statements!! he's believed them since episode one! do we so soon forget that he denied the statements were real because he knew the Eye something wanted him to be scared, and he knew that was bad, so he decided to act like the statements just didn't scare him? remember, he was working with extremely limited information ("when i record the tape statements, i feel watched, like something knows i'm afraid, and i don't want it to know that"), and came up with a genuinely solid solution with what he had! not his fault that the thing watching him was a literal unknowable eldritch entity that feeds on fear, and he was just some underqualified archivist.

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.
