hewo nonnie ! omg yes yes i have a skincare routine . i use soap and glory face soap and clarity vitamin c cleanser + quinoderm face wash in the mornings ( i’ve used it 4 years like since high school n it’s so good 4 keeping my skin clear ) then at night i use the same soap n glory cleanser w the liz earle hot cloth cleanser ! i also use the ole henrikson balance control toner ( the green one it smells like peppermint ) with the charlotte tilbury magic cream + magic eye cream ! n i use a garnier oil control spf 50 on my face 2 <3 i have oily skin !

I fucking...I fucking managed to have a vitamin C deficiency. In a region known for growing lemons and limes and oranges. In the 21st century.
Because I'm probably-autistic and don't eat oranges. Loud smell, bad texture, inconsistent flavor, so it slips my mind that they're even edible.
What the fuck my skin has been slowly un-knitting itself and the multivites weren't helping (bc they skip vitamin C since it's so easy to get) so I had to troubleshoot and now I'm realizing the days I didn't feel like I was transforming into a newt were the ones when I had one of those snack-cups of (as I just found out) vitamin-C-fortified apple sauce that I keep around. What the fuck.
It's not like I don't eat fruit whatsoever. I don't eat much, because it's too perishable to stock up on, too unpredictable in flavor (horrible-sour/rotten-sweet), and quickly develops a bad/inedible texture. But apparently, not every fruit has a lot of vitamin C in it, and the cheaper ones I occasionally buy are on that unfortunate list. Fuck me, I almost got scurvy on land in a state full of citrus. I'm buying some goddamn orange juice now.

HYDRATION ;
you need to be hydrating properly. hydration not only is rly good for ur skin (keeps it plump and glowy) but its also good for ur overall body health in general (cleans out ur body). so drink lots and lots of water. plus walking around with a cute water bottle is actually such an adorable accessory and lowkey a look...
SLEEP + SKINCARE ;
sleep 8-10 hours a day and if ur feeling extra princessy sleep for 12 hours or take naps throughout the day bcuz beauty sleep is real!! and for skincare i rly rly recommend korean skincare. and ofc keep skincare SIMPLE and be consistent. plus when u dont sleep ur skin will look dull.
and a hot tip...from me to you, in the morning as soon as u wake up have a glass of lukewarm water and before bed drink a cup of spearmint/peppermint tea. also another good drink for skincare is chlorophyll. i drink a 16oz of chlorophyll a day or sometimes i'll just have a little chlorophyll shot and its good for ur skin.
MOISTURE ;
when u get out of the shower apply lotion onto slightly damp skin, not completely dry skin. also if u have, use a body oil before the body lotion. i like to use body butter (i use the coco-shea butter and it makes me glow like no OTHER) additionally we wanna protect our skin from the sun so make sure to use sunscreen on ur face and body every single day.
