I am physically disabled and chronically ill so I’ve a very limited amount of energy and have to deal with lots of nonstop pain.
Energy is my most valuable resource, and thats why I offer it to my gods.
I consider actively practicing witchcraft (doing divination, crafting something, cleaning or cleansing my altar, etc… anything that requires physical activity ) an offering because it takes away most of my energy. This is more valuable than any food or object I can offer. They value the intention behind the offering over everything else.
I know they’re fine with this, they want the best for me, they understand that I am limited when it comes to what I can and what I can’t do regarding my practice.

Heimdallr, Guardian of the Bifrǫst. Which basically is a giant rainbow, so of course I had to dress him in sparkly holo colors! I really enjoyed learning more about this god, because his strength is not brute force but heightened perception, which helps him see every corner of the universe, which gave me the impression of a very calm, wise and spiritual character. He is also the son of nine different mothers, and he's guarding the bridge that connects the world, so I imagine him as the personification of balanced multitudes, of an "all is one" kind of spirituality

people who did not watch vikings s1 through 3 do Not understand the enormity of ragnar and athelstan, the viking earl who kidnapped the christian monk and the two of them spent the rest of their lives falling harder and harder in love with each other to the point that when the christian monk died the viking earl (now king) had the bishop of paris baptize him so they could be reunited in heaven and later tried to kill himself but didnt manage to and spent the followong 10 years away from everything and everyone and only came back to die at the hands of the other king who was psychosexually obsessed with the monk

Located in Denmark, Lake Tissø (Týr’s Lake) was probably one of the most prominent Týr cult sites of pre-Christian times. More than 12 000 objects have been excavated in this major holy site, many of which were gold or silver. It was customary to sacrifice weapons, tools or jewelry by throwing them into the waters of the lake, most likely as an offering to Týr or to ancestors. It was home to a large hall, a ritual hörgr and a handful of minor houses (ca. 550 – 650).

Some of the most famous artifacts excavated on the site include the Goats of Thórr brooch (late Iron Age), the 1.8 kg of gold neck ring (10th century), and the Valkyries (2nd is possibly Freyja) of Tissø.
