I was thinking to myself about the Volturi kings (as I do because I love them) and I was thinking of Aro a lot I was thinking about what he would do if his mate LOVED to hear him speak Italian and when he would speak Italian his mate just stare at him like "WOAHHHHHH" You know? He has proposed to teach you Italian, so you could have any idea what he was saying but at the same time he doesn’t want the magic to disappear by you understanding what he says.

Caius is kind of weirded out by you loving to hear him speaking Italian.

But he also loves to make fun of you for not understanding what is strange because he was the one so excited about you moving to Italy.

If you were to start learning Italian, Caius will make fun of you for not being fluent in seconds (don’t worry he will give you private lessons if necessary).

Marcus...

Marcus finds your intrigue kind of funny. It’s the fact that him just speaking gets you so invested even if you don’t have any idea what is being said.

Is very adamant about you learning Italian as well so you could understand him and be part of the fun. (Also, I think he really appreciates learning new things and wants you to enjoy the process as well.)

Marcus has read to you multiple (short) books in Italian, but you really haven’t picked the language from those. (You are too concentrated on Marcus’s voice.)

as someone who has moved to a smaller city (30K people in total) for grad school, i would like to say twilight is wrong. the smaller the population the more people know you. i went to a cafe twice and they already know my order. 1000% everyone in forks knows the cullens are vampires and are just too entertained by how bad they are at acting normal to break it to them

Marcus sighed, feeling the tension between them. Y/N's grip on his hand was firm, but it lacked the usual warmth and comfort they shared. "Are you still mad at me?" Marcus finally asked, his voice tinged with regret.

Y/N glanced at him, their expression still hardened. "Yes," they replied simply. "Are you going to let go of my hand?" Marcus questioned, feeling the weight of the silence that followed.

Y/N hesitated, their gaze softening slightly. "No," they admitted quietly, their voice barely above a whisper.

Marcus smiled gently, squeezing their hand in return. "I'll make it up to you, I promise." With those words, he smiled softly as them, y/n smiles back.
