just accidentally booked a therapy appt for tomorrow which i very much did not mean to do and technically the clinic requires 48 hr notice for cancellations but idk how that works for last minute bookings so i emailed them and will call them in the morning and hopefully it can be cancelled w/o penalty but like ahhhhhhh why did i do that im so dumbbbb

Back by popular demand, my third annual vampire appreciation week will take place from Tuesday, November 7th to Monday, November 13th. All content is welcome, from gifsets, to graphics, to edits! You don’t need to be following me nor do you even have to like me to participate, truly EVERYONE is welcome. I tried to incorporate some new prompts as well as keep some of the original ones. Coming Soon...
We're happy to announce the first round of the BBC Merlin Rare Pair Fest! This is a prompt-based event that will focus on the lesser explored relationships (romantic & platonic), and run from August until November. For the sake of this fest, any work not focusing on Merlin & Arthur (as either romantic or platonic) will count as a rare pair.
Schedule:
Prompting: August 17th until August 31st - anyone will be able to leave up to 10 prompts through a form we'll share
September 1st/2nd: a list of all submitted prompts goes live
Claiming opens: September 3rd - anyone who would like to create for this part of the fest can claim a prompt by filling out another form. You do not need to have submitted prompts to do this, and submitting prompts does not mean you'll have to otherwise participate!
Works Due: November 5th - all creations created for a claimed prompt must be submitted to our AO3 collection. We will draw up a posting schedule by which works will be revealed over the next few weeks!
Posting Starts: November 13th, with one to two works per day.
As these fest formats somewhat tend to favour writers, the second part of this fest will be a Rare Pair Week run here on Tumblr in November, to give any and all visual artists some time to shine!

stranger things major dates:
(this is actually part of a much larger post i plan on making, with a loooot of background bullshit that nobody cares about, but this is just the dates :P please note that it took me a while to get the hang of this note taking thing so it’ll get more accurate as the seasons progress, feel free to fact check me)
(other thing to notes: I'm assuming that all of these dates are one after the other or even simultaneously, but according to wikis online, the timeline is much more stretched out, implying that there are other days we don't see.)
S1
Will went missing on November 6th, 1983. There were search parties November 6th and 7th; on November 7th there was the big storm and it was called off.
Steve’s party was on a Tuesday . Steve broke Jonathan’s camera the next day, which was the day of the funeral, as well as the day Will was rescued .
[UPDATE: i missed a day in here, because Steve breaking the camera was a catalyst for Nancy seeing the photos, which led to Nancy and Jonathan going monster hunting, and they spent the night together before Will was rescued. Sorry for the goof!]

The time skip is implied to be late November/early December (okay honestly i don’t remember how i came to this conclusion, it’s just in my notes. I think the title card must’ve said “one month later” or something.)
^ this is when Hawkins lab gets raided by govt vehicles with Murray watching, as well as Hop getting El’s forged birth certificate. The Snow Ball is around this time as well.
