Once upon a moonlit evening, in a forgotten nook of a European hamlet, there wandered a forlorn and nameless child. The shadows, as nebulous caretakers in lieu of parents, had nurtured this solitary soul, drifting through a realm of abandonment and yearning for a love never known. Destiny took a peculiar turn when the child chanced upon a map of treasures, graced with the emblem of a solemn iron cross. The pursuit of this cryptic path led the youngster to a desolate dwelling, where echoes of days long past whispered through the timeworn walls.

Within the aged abode, the child encountered a shadow, cast upon the wall like an arcane puppet. It took the form of a sagacious black wolf, its eyes ablaze in a crimson glow, a creature of mystique and wisdom.

This ethereal being spun tales of fortitude and kinship, urging the child to embrace the latent wolf within and metamorphose into a valiant hero. Convinced that the key to liberation from loneliness lay in proving his prowess, the child, accompanied by other nameless, wayward comrades, heeded the wolf's counsel. Together, they set forth on a quest, targeting those who held stars in higher regard than crosses, committing a grisly act culminating in the dismemberment of their final victim and the consumption of his lifeblood. This sinister rite triggered a ghastly transformation, turning the child and companions into wolves—no longer humans but creatures of fur, fang, and primal instincts. Forever bound to servitude under the shadowy wolf's commands, they became creatures ensnared in a predatory existence.

Their days unfolded in a lamentable cycle of solitude, shunned by all who refused to utter a word to them. The once-human pack continued their predatory pursuits, hunting down those who cherished stars. Yet, an ominous shift in the tides of justice transpired one fateful day. A cadre of hunters, sanctioned by the law, intervened. They pursued, captured, and imprisoned the child-wolves behind a sealed door within a desolate abyss. Confined within the unforgiving cage, they faced an eternity of solitary penance, their unheard howls reverberating in the caverns of isolation.

Humanity, forever haunted, would remember them as a tragic aberration, a mournful tale etched in the annals of their collective memory.

Thriller story: Touch of Death

Hello everyone!

I’m a Wattpad author and I thought that maybe I could try to pass my story somewhere else since it’s not getting too much recognition there. I mean, the first version in the Slovak language has over 35K Reads and has many fans, but the English version has not been really acknowledged by readers so... maybe I could start adding new chapters here? Is someone interested in reading it? I’ll put down the annotation and also link for my Wattpad story.

18-year-old Ria wants nothing more than to be someone else. She hides a dark secret that afflicts her for days and nights. Suddenly, her mother stops answering all phone calls. When her father also starts to behave strangely, she decides to find out what's going on. However, the situation gets complicated, and she finds out that there are more sins in the O'Donnell family than she thought...

There was no time for going out with friends.

There was no time for playing with the dolls.

I had no time to grow up in a normal family as a normal girl.

I know why my mom left my father. I also know that she tried to do everything to make me feel like every other child. Was I happy with such a life?

I don't know.

Am I happy now?

I also don't know.

The fact that I had exchanged toys for weapons, and dance lessons for hard training, didn't bother me. Thanks to that, I can take care of myself, I can protect myself.

But would I really need protection if my own father didn't put me in danger?

What if my mom left my father before he put the first gun in my hands?

What would change?

Would I stand here now, risking my life, only to save the people I care about?

There was no time for going out with friends.

There was no time for playing with the dolls.

Location: London

Kyle, the world's greatest scientist Kyle is showcasing his latest scientific breakthrough "THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPT OF TIME TRAVEL”

Kyle: Thus this the single most greatest scientific breakthrough ever

Everyone at auditorium were so excited that they started to applaud him mid sentence.

Among the audience was Agent C. He had been very much of a world that he himself could not explain but was there every time there would be some major event about it. He was made the in charge of security in that event.

After the event C went towards Kyle to congratulate him.

Agent C: That was quite impressive sir.

Kyle: Well, you know it doesn’t hurt to be the smartest man in the room.

Agent C: That’s true.

C then led out hand to for a final goodbye.

As soon as C’s hand touched Kyle’s, he felt something pointy pernitrate his palm.

Agent C: Ow! Whoa! What was that?

Kyle: Oh! I am so sorry, I think that was the wire coming out my coat.

Agent C: That is okay. It is a little blood, its not like you KILLED someone.

They both laughed and then call it a night.

January 29, 2028

Location: Pittsburgh

V, the head of M.I.8, was unofficially interrogating C about Agent N’s death.

V: Are you sure?

Agent C: Yes, sir. I don’t think he involved by any enemy organizations that could have killed and neither were the details of the mission told to anyone.

V: Ok, you can go now.

C exits V’s cabin. He then calls the mission operator.

Operator: Sir, the details of the mission as you asked.

V: Narrate to me the mission with the time stamps.

Operator: Sir, 2000 hours : C arrived at his location.

2001 hours : First conversation between Agent C and N.

2015 hours : N gets irritated.

2115 hours : Last transmission.

2146 hours : C call off the mission.

V looked at him with pure shock.

V: What was N’s time of death?

Operator: Around 2130 to 2136.

V: If we assume that the time to reach from one location to other is 15 min.

then why did C didn’t do any transmissions between 2130 to 2145?

“What was doing during the time of death?”
