okay my hot take is purly based on personal opinion and the season, but uconn (womens) is not a final four team, i would go as far as saying not even an elite 8 team but you have to hear me out before i get flamed

1. the big east is the worst power 6 conference for women’s teams, minimal teams in the AP top 25 and NET top rankings. on that, uconn didnt even have to play creighton (the only other top team in the big east) to win the title. beating a subpar team by 30 is not a determinate of a good team.

2. uconn is playing 8/9 deep, injuries have manhandled this team like no other, no fudd, griffin, patterson, alfy, ducharme, and deberry is crazy going into march. edwards is also dealing with a broken nose so she might not be able to give 100%. combined with 2 freshman with no march experience and paige who hasn’t played in march in 2 yrs. those girls are going to be drained by the sweet sixteen

3. uconn is 2-5 against top teams with losses to notre dame, south carolina, texas, ucla, nc state and their non conference schedule versus power 5 teams was weak with matchups like maryland and minnesota

4. fouls, fouls, fouls. edwards and muhl are so foul prone and uconn has only 1 sub to play the 5 spot with ice brady also being foul prone. a smaller lineup would require their offense to really step up and they would have no presence in the paint or on the glass

5. but thats the issue with uconn, their offensive efficiency is low and they sometimes are unable to get their offense going until late in the 1st half versus top teams, especially if paige cant get herself going as uconn relies on paige heavily but who else is going to step up.

6. a lot of people give them credit for efficient offense because of their high margin per game but they are playing in the big east with only 2 other teams who made the tournament and the rest of the teams don’t play at a high level like in other power conferences. and they struggle with offensive boards so 1 play possessions could kill them

7. regional 3 is the second toughest region with teams like ucs, baylor, virginia tech, syracuse, ohio state. i can see uconn struggling with both syracuse with dyaisha fair and then having to possibly play a ohio state team that has been lights out defensively, their full court press is absolutely insane and would give uconn problems. and especially because that would be a sweet 16 rematch from last year where ohio state won. then if they for some reason beat ohio state, they would need to beat usc, which i don’t see happening.

now i love paige bueckers and her contributions to the women’s game along with geno and i would love nothing more than uconn to prove me wrong but i just cant get behind the huskies this year. but march is march so we will see (pls dont flame me yall )

I think Midoriya is the one who will best be able to heal your heart. You've both been through such hardships in your lives, Izuku would be the one to help you overcome you struggles and traumas with his determination and big heart.

When you first come to UA, you're a bit like Todoroki was, closed off and kept to yourself. The girls tried to pull you into their activities, and you would to avoid being rude, but you were quiet and preferred to keep to yourself.

Midoriya didn't like how you were alone all the time and seemed to be hurting. he wouldn't push and make you uncomfortable, but he would try and make more of an effort to be your friend.

He would offer for you guys, to train, eat lunch, and study together, but you would usually say no. Until one day during the internships (yes you guys ended up at the same agency by pure coincidence) he took a hit for you.

After you guys got back, your mama bear switch turned on and you made him sit down so you could heal his wounds. You lectured him on how reckless he was and asked him why he would do such a dangerous thing for you, and he said it was because he cared about you.

After that you soften up a bit. You would take Midoriya up on his offers to hang out, although at first it would only just be the two of you. Over time however he starts to introduce you to the rest of group deku and you all become a very tight nit circle of friends.

As the friends to lovers trope tends to go, as you two got closer Midoryia started to fall for you. Now as brave as he may well be we all know that he can be an awkward little nerd, so when he realized this, he started panicking.

He goes to his friends for help, but they don't seem to be able to help much. Idia and Todoroki don't know a lot about romance, and he is too shy Asui and Ururaka (although they had figured it out already) so he goes to the he looks up to the most: Almight.

Almight's advice for him was that all he had to do was speak from the heart and be himself. So that's what he did. He walked up to you one day and asked if you could speak in private where he confessed his feelings for you.

You and Midoriya's dates usually consist of sharing each other's interests. You guys will watch your favorite animes together (sometimes he will act out the scenes to make you laugh). He may not be super into art, but he loves every single masterpiece you make for him. He also likes to take you out to eat, but you guys eat outside or take it to go and eat it somewhere nice to avoid large crowds.

You also scold Midoriya for hurting himself all the time. That he can't save anyone if he doesn't take care of himself. And he takes care of you and allows your mature motherly facade to come down so you can be vulnerable for once and feel safe.

All in all, you guys are very wholesome. You understand each other's needs and take care of others as well. You cover each other's backs on and off the battlefield.

Now, let’s just take care of the Copperajah in the room right away: you said you don’t like change, yet I’ve paired you with a Pokémon that’s best known for changing. But here’s the thing, I think your dislike for change is what would make you an amazing Eevee owner. As you know, Eevee are rather fluffy Pokémon, which means they do require a bit of grooming. They aren’t too high-maintenance though, a good brushing + ruff combing two or three times a week should be more than enough unless yours is particularly fluffy or battles regularly.

Eevee are great Pokémon for owners of any skill level, be they complete novices, or Pokémon masters. Beyond the universal “will bite/scratch if it feels threatened” Eevee are pretty safe Pokémon, though they can become a bit destructive if they don’t have a way to burn-off excess energy. Also, where they do have evolutions that are achieved through friendship, I would recommend giving your Eevee an Everstone if you wish to keep it in its base form.

• He takes the nickname "crow" to seriously, symbolism wise. Crow’s are related to death, bad luck, revenge, and most importantly..pride. Really anytime he sees one it compels him to think about you, and in return maybe even get you a thoughtful gift. In his prideful way he changed it into a nickname you should be proud of. He tends to just call you “my crow.”

• Fast or slow talking, Alastor is very quick witted and usually understands every word you’re saying. He has very fucked up humor and would gladly join you in bickering about morbid things.

• As a overlord, he doesn’t really have time for insults. All "water off a ducks back" n stuff. He makes an effort to teach that to you as well. Though that effort quickly becomes slightly hypocritical when someone says something to you while he’s right next to you. I mean, the audacity, right?

• Again, being an overlord he can’t show any sense of vulnerability. That being said the only way you can see him even close to being cuddly is in your shared bed, shortly before the two of you fall asleep. He might settle for slight hand holding, but even then only with a limited amount of people.

• Alastor is a healthy man, physically, and makes and effort to get a proper sleep schedule. He’s going to help you do the same, even if he has to use one of his spells or sing you to sleep. Those times are the times you’d see him cuddle you the most.

Imma be honest here, due to my RBF, people tend to think I am scary and introverted but here’s the thing, I do seem scary and serious if I don’t know me well. Hello! I'm here to request a MHA matchup if you could please! I'm a 16 year old female but I look and act mature for my age(due to trauma) so I often get mistaked as an 18 year old or even older sometimes. Some good qualities of mine are maturity, level headedness, and then I can be motherly. Some bad traits can include bluntness, coming off as cold, and stubbornness. I'm an introvert so i hate being around crowds and speaking infront of people I also have social anxiety so that doesn't help... I would much prefer staying at home watching anime or reading than going out... More of my fun and loud side comes out around my friends or the right people. My hobbies or things I enjoy include hanging out with friends, swimming, listening to music, art, laying in bed on my phone, animals(I want to work with animals as a job), watching anime, the ocean(I love water if I could choose a quirk it would be water based), stargazing(I love galaxies, the moon and stars I find everything so fascinating), then finally goth/emo style! Some dislikes of mine are bananas, P.E./sports(volleyball is okay tho), and men/father figures in my life-. My music taste includes the artists, The Neighborhood, Girl In Red, The Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, Alec Benjamin, Corpse, and Conan Gray! I'm bisexual/omnisexual so either gender could work but in mha I lean towards having stronger crushes on the guys and only some lighter crushes on the girls so do with that what you will. Traits I dislike in others are immaturity, impatience, disrespect, pushing boundaries, and not listening. Traits I look for in others are respect, kindness, understanding, patience, and humor. A bit about my appearance is I have longish black hair, pale skin, freckles, i'm a bit chubby, and tall(5'8). Im also very insecure and I doubt myself a lot but I'm trying to work on that! Some love languages include words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch and sometimes acts of service. I have mental and physical health issues so I would need someone who could accept and be able to handle that. I would also need someone that would accept that I have trauma as well.
