「BNHA Boys with a s/o who is clingy when sleepy」

⤷ Bakugou

he would act like he was angry about it; the kind of jokingly complaining like “why are you getting clingy all of a sudden?” “what are you, a koala?” “hey, if you sleep like this, you’ll drool all over my shirt.” but as soon as you pout and walk away, he rolls his eyes and pulls you back to him, trapping you in his arms or with his body. “where do you think you’re going? get back here,” then happily he cradles you and places soft kisses on the top of your head.

⤷ Deku

he gets even more smiley and embarrassed when you start clinging to his arm as you walk back home. “sleepy?” he ruffles your hair lightly before placing a soft kiss on top of your head; and honestly his heart is melting. he offers to give you a piggy back ride so you can take a nap. “we are almost home; hang in there,”

⤷ Todoroki

he’d be a little surprised at first, especially if you’re not normally clingy or as affectionate, but he’d get used to it; if you were sleeping on the couch he would take you to bed carefully and when you refuse to let him go he tries to playfully argue with you and say he has work to do but honestly he thinks you are very cute and doesn’t have the courage to refuse, so he would bring everything he needs to work so he can do it on your side. he also likes you to pet him while he reads a book or watches something on his phone or something and looks at you adoringly with a smile or a small laugh before continuing on what he was doing before.

⤷ Denki

“awn, cuuteee-” he would say, his voice almost a scream as he hugs you and pulls you closer; he was really very quiet afterwards, just stroking you while you slept, not thinking, running his fingers down your back, drawing little patterns or letters. it would be a blissfully quiet time, just enjoying each other’s presence and warmth. then he opens his mouth to say, “hey babe, why are you so cute all the time??”

⤷ Tamaki

you are in the backseat of the car when you suddenly approach him, practically clutching his arms, almost dozing; he puts down the phone he was scrolling and looks at you, “are you sleepy?” he asks rhetorically with a chuckle, you gently tilts his head so that it rests on his shoulder, “go ahead and take a nap; i’ll wake you up when we get there,” he says and holds your hand the entire way and kisses it a few times.

he would be calm outside, but his heart would just melt; he’s reading in bed when you sleepily tug at his sleeve, a silent line for him to crawl under the covers and approach. he puts his arms around your shoulders as he lets you sleep; you try to move his hand to your head. he is a little confused at first, but laughs when he realizes, “like this?” he says as he strokes your hair. he looks at you with a big smile on his face as you mumble contentedly and hug his waist tighter.

⤷ Hawks

would he be a little confused at first and look at you as if to say what’s gotten into you? but in all honesty, he would be the softest being ever; he would make videos and photos of you, with his hands poking or playing with your cheeks because he thinks you are the cutest thing in the world. he would also 100% let you hold his hand and use his arm to hug. he kisses you on the forehead and chaste kisses on the lips when he thinks you’ve fallen asleep, but suddenly you open your eyes and he backs away so quickly, the blush creeping up his cheeks; and blush even more when you snuggle closer and press lazy little kisses to his cheek.

⤷ Dabi

he’s watching tv when you arrive and lazily sits on his lap, resting your cheek on his shoulder. he kind of freezes up at first because he doesn’t know what to do but relaxes right away and asks if you’ve had a tiring day. then moves to get up but stops and laughs when you hold him tighter, “i’m just taking you to bed; it’ll be more comfortable there,” “who said?” you mumble. “…okay,” he says, wrapping his arms around your waist and shifting a bit to find a more comfortable position for the two of you; in the end, he didn’t wake you up because you were so cute and comfortable that he just wanted to keep holding you in his arms, and that’s what he did.

⤷ Shigaraki

he’s in the middle of a game when you whimper sleepily for hugs as you drag him to bed. he holds the controller out of your reach. “wait, y/n, i’m about to – fuck no!” he groans when he loses before shooting you a look and basically tackling you on the bed, suffocating you with a bear hug. “you made me lose, i’m not gonna let you go now; this is your punishment,” despite your drowsiness, you laugh and tighten your embrace, suffocating him in an equally eager hug until both of you relents at the same time. you then slowly drift off to sleep in his arms and he soon follows suit.

Sometimes, he’s able to work up the courage and confidence to ask for “that thing,” simply meaning you laying on top of him, playing with his fingers or his hair, and it’s all easy and all smiles.

But others, he just really struggles okay? And the idea of coming forward and asking you to do something for him makes his heart race and stomach queasy.

And it’s then that you step in for him.

“Honey,” you begin. “You’re staring into space, again. Do you need something?”

“No…”

You cock a brow and offer him a smile, “are you lying to me?”

“No!”

“You don’t stammer when you lie, angel face.”

Amajiki’s face bursts out in somehow more of a flush, and you decide to let him relax by scooting to the other end of the couch and patting your old spot for him to sit in. “C’mere. I want to cuddle,” you encourage.

He gulps and makes his way to the couch, swinging his legs up and over, only for you to burrow in against him, relishing in his scent while he lets out a sigh of relief 🥺

Your cheeks are great too! Don’t get him wrong, but…were you upset with him? Had he done something to offend you?

He mentally sighed, scraping through his brain to find something, anything. Wracking the shelves of his mind. Well to be honest, he hadn’t really seen much of you today because you were both busy-

Was that why? Did you not want to kiss him because of that? He should’ve taken some time out of his day to text or call you, and maybe you wouldn’t be so upset, right? He had a lunch break for like 20 minutes, he could’ve checked in you then. Instead he chose to eat his lunch like the selfish, sick, bastar-

“Izu?”

“Huh?” He questioned, quickly snapping out of his thoughts.

“Izu, you okay? You seemed a little lost there for a moment..”

“Did I do something wrong?”

“Were you like totally zoned out the whole time I was talking after that?”

“Kinda,” he said embarrassed.

“Silly, I said I was leaning in to kiss your cheek, sorry. I even pecked you back on the lips after, you don’t remember any of that?”

You exhaled, “It seems you’re too exhausted today huh? Let’s go take a bath, yeah?”

He happily agreed, and was in utter bliss at you taking care of him the rest of the night. Gentle head pats were shared, sweet nothings whispered in the dead of night, and finally, peace hit when he fell asleep in your arms. ☆

Lowkey breaks down into a very “manly” mess

Kirishima is a big affection guy

The best way he can fix things or lighten the mood is

And that’s always worked for him

So when he can’t really do that

☆ Honestly, you were just upset today. Things weren’t going the way that they were supposed to. Granted, they were small things but they still bothered you. Eventually building up to your soured mood.

You’d tried talking to “friends” about it, but we’re just given responses like, “Do you know how minor that is compared to my day?” Or, “Don’t focus on the negative,” and the most common, “Why are you being so selfish?”

After those you just gave up and tried to get through your day. Trying to get back in the excited mood because you were supposed to hang out with Kirishima today. So everything would be fine shortly, or at least that’s what you thought.

He showed up at your apartment to just watch movies, and you figured it would be okay. However, as the movie went on you found yourself not able to pay attention. Kirishima noticed this as well and immediately asked what was wrong. When you brushed it off with a “nothing,” he knew it wasn’t nothing.

Normally cuddles always brought you out of your saddened state, at least a little. So he wraps his arms around you in a warm hug and tries to snuggle close. This simple but oh so caring act of affection was not able to bring you out of your mood, in fact it almost worsened. You nudged him off with the excuse that it was “too hot.”

Oh, he thought.

You were really upset, and there was nothing he could do. The only thing he could do, the only thing he knew he excelled at in life, couldn’t help. So why was he even here? It made him feel useless, and stupid.

Quickly realizing that his mood had changed, you started to feel bad. Gosh why couldn’t you just stop being so selfish?

“Sorry,” he quickly stated before you could.

“What are you sorry for? I-I should be the one who’s sorry..”

“No I,” he sighed deeply, “I don’t know how to comfort you, and there’s nothing I can do to help so I’m basically use-“

You cut him off with a peck on his forehead.

“Wh-what are you-“

“Just you being here is helpful to me Eiji. I was just having a rough day today, okay? It’s not your fault.”

“But still I should be able to comfort you…”

“Well, I could seriously use someone to vent to,” his eyes lit up at that, “as long as you don’t interrupt me to say how much harder your day was, or tell me how negative and selfish I’m being.”

His eyebrows crinkled downward and his whole face shifted into a frown, “why would I do that?”

“Long story babe.”

“Well good thing I’m here to listen.”

Now he has a new way he can comfort you, and he’s an expert at listening as well. ☆

☆ Amajiki Tamaki ☆

Okay legit the definition of an awkward misunderstanding

Even though his natural personality is shy and timid or quiet

He’s more comfortable around you

But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t get stuck sometimes

Like he’s gonna do something

And then bam

He’s so disappointed with himself

He built it up and was so ready

So he just accepts it

This time though you don’t beat him to it

In fact you don’t do it at all

It causes him to think something is wrong

But you had noticed his frustration lately with something

After noticing it was his courage you decided you’d let him greet you today

So he builds himself up

Even stands in front of you

While you wait patiently

And then

He just gives a stammered out never mind and a defeated sigh

Because what if you don’t even want to hug or kiss him anyway?

☆ Tamaki comes home everyday, to your shared apartment, and everyday you’re the first person he sees. He always finds you where ever you are, normally in your study, and you hug and kiss him. Then there in the room you guys talk about your days and unwind, mostly him listening to you.

Recently though, you had noticed him being more frustrated? You weren’t sure what if was but it was always after you hugged and kissed him, you could tell because his brow would slightly furrow and his lips would poke out in a pout. You weren’t sure why though, did your breath stink? No. Were you hugging him too tight? No Tamaki loves your hugs. So what could it be?

You called up the person who knows him second best, his closest friend, a friend of yours as well since you’ve started dating Tamaki. Mirio. You figured Tamaki might have said something to him even if it was just a mumbling her overheard, and you figured correctly.

Mirio told you he had only hear Tamaki mumbling about courage and greetings recently, which was enough for you to put two and two together. You thanked him for his helpful information and waited on Tamaki to arrive home. It was his early shift today so at about 7 he’d be home.

You waited this time, in the living room. This time when he came in you simply gave him a, “hey ‘tama” and he greeted you back coming to sit on the couch with you. For a moment he stared, waiting, almost expectantly.

He was building himself up, and you were giving him time. It wasn’t awkward silence, just expecting, patient silence. After a couple minutes you were about to speak when he kissed you.

I did it! Was all he could think of, but he was a bit harsh and one of his teeth bit your lip causing you to break the kiss.

Oh no, what if I was right? She didn’t want to kiss me at all! I should’ve just gave up-

“Tamaki? Are you okay?”

“I-I’m…I’m sorry,” he said in a hushed tone.

“It’s okay, accidents happen.”

“A-accident?” He said confused.

“Yes, I’m assuming you didn’t bite me on purpose,” you said giggling.

Then it clicked in his brain, he was so excited he had finally done it, he accidentally hurt you in the process. It made him sad, a sullen look now appeared over his features.

“I’m sorry. I- I just really wanted t-to-“

“I know Tama, and it’s okay,” you reassured him, “you can just keep trying.”

Smiling he asked hopefully, “really?”

“Of course.” ☆

Second person pov ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tamaki kept his head down as his friends chatted away around him, eyes fixed on his lap as he listened. Ears perking slightly at the sound of your voice as you laughed away to Mirio’s jokes, slightly jealous that he wasn’t the reason for the sound. His eyes gently shifting up to watch the way you leaned against Nejire whenever you laughed a little too hard.

Tamaki could feel the heat that covered his entire face whenever you were near, he could ear his heart ponding in his ears whenever he heard you talk. He loved it whenever you sat with his friends even though he could never actually tell you that, way too shy to even look your way.

His head snapped up as he heard his friends leaving, panic filling him as his blonde haired friend assured him they would only be a moment and he still had you to keep his company. Tamaki really didn’t mean to look so scared as he turned to see your soft smile.

He flinched at the way you look when you saw how scared he looked, he really didn’t mean to make you feel bad. He really hoped you didn’t leave, he wanted you to stay and maybe you’d be braver and try to talk to him.

He looked back as his lap as his friends left, too shy too look up into your enchanting eyes. Tamaki grew more and more unsettled as the silence continued, worrying that you thought less of him for not talking before it was broken by your soft voice. Words whispered so quietly like a secret only for him to hear.

“I like your ears Tamaki”

Tamaki could of swore that he stopped breathing for a moment the moment the words finally registered in his mind. He looked up so quickly that he almost gave himself whiplash to find you just staring at him. Elbow on the table as you laid your head against your hand, a soft smile on your face as your eyes focused on his pointed ears.

All Tamaki could really do was splutter incoherent responses as his entire face bushed the most beautiful bright shade of red you’d ever seen. Tamaki stopped trying to talk the moment the most amazing sound left your lips, your started giggling softly at him. You shook your head lightly for a moment before whispering.

“You’re just the cutest Tamaki, its honestly a no brainer why I like you so much”

You quickly looked away from him as his friends returned but the words played over and over in his mind like a broken record. You actually liked him and you liked his ears? Your were something Tamaki thought he could only dream of but it sent a small bit of confidence through him when he realized he might actually be able to have you.

As you looked back at him for a moment, he gathered all his strength to give you a small, wobbly smile. He watched you flush slightly before smiling back, he knew that he did the right thing even if it was such a small thing.

Summary: What’s it like being in a relationship with Tamaki Amajiki?

- First things first, getting together with Tamaki isn’t a quick or easy process in the slightest, and it's important that you recognize that before trying to pursue anything with him

- It’s painfully obvious to everyone who’s ever seen him that he’s very anxious and doesn’t put himself out there or take risks easily, so getting into a relationship with him requires a lot of patience, kindness and understanding

- That’s how he knows that you’re the person he’s meant to be with, though. You weren’t put off by how long it took for the two of you to get together, you stuck by his side and continue to show him every single day that you love and care for him despite his anxieties, and he appreciates the effort you put in so much more than he could ever tell you <3

- But back to when the two of you got together lol

- You’d definitely have to be the one to ask Tamaki out officially. No matter how much he wants to be with you, he just can not force a confession directly out of his mouth

- Believe me, he’s so infatuated with you that he has tried, but the words get caught in his throat and his breathing quickens rapidly, causing his vision to get spotty and tears to fall from his eyes

- He falls into a complete panic attack, so even though he likes you more than he’s ever liked anyone before, he knows he’ll never be able to confess to you :/

- Luckily for him, you like him too! :)

- You’ve been friends with Mirio since you first came to UA due to his friendly, talkative and extroverted nature, and of course when the two of you started getting close, he just had to introduce you to his “super amazing best friend Tamaki!”

- And it definitely took a few meetings for the two of you to warm up to one another. Tamaki’s shyness made interactions stiff and awkward for a while as you didn't know how to help him feel comfortable around you, but you continued to try to reach out to him, and Tamaki worked hard to push through the anxiety in his gut and meet you half-way in your efforts once he realized you were serious about wanting to be his friend

- From there feelings just kind of developed naturally on both ends. Your personalities fit together easily, like puzzle pieces finally being connected, and you were both drawn to each other in a way neither of you had felt before and mutual crushes eventually bloomed between the two of you

- And you had your suspicions that Tamaki may reciprocate your feelings, as he tried to show you this in his own way after realizing he’d never be able to confess his feelings to you directly, so one day after lots of debating and searching for signs of his feelings, you decided to bite the bullet and just ask him out already, hoping and praying that you wouldn’t scare him off and lose the friendship you had built up completely if you were wrong and he didn’t reciprocate your feelings after all

- Fortunately, you had nothing to worry about, though, as Tamaki eventually managed to sputter out an admission that he would really enjoy going on a date with you after his shock eased up enough for him to get the words out

- Once the two of you finally get together Tamaki’s very much not a PDA person, though I’m sure everyone could have guessed this

- PDA means that attention is on him, and that’s just something that completely makes him freeze up in public

- He doesn’t mind hand holding, though, as that doesn’t draw much attention, so holding your hand or linking your pinkies together is his way of showing you love and affection when the two of you are in school or out in public together

- Because Tamaki’s so shy and quiet, he doesn’t get a lot of time to share his opinions, and he spends a lot of time in his own thoughts. Of course he has Mirio and Nejire to talk to, he’s comfortable around those two, but they’re the only people he was really able to be completely open with until you came along

- But being with you just makes him feel so comfortable, for once in his life he doesn’t feel like every action he takes or every word that falls from his lips is being judged, so he opens up to you in a way that very few people get to see from him

- Eventually the two of you get to the point where he’ll blurt out whatever’s on his mind to share his thoughts with you when the two of you are alone, and it always leaves a smile blooming on your face at how comfortable he is around you as you respond to his opinions and share your own silly, mindless thoughts with him

- One way Tamaki copes with his anxiety when he’s at school is by gnawing at the skin on his lips when he feels stressed, which leads to his lips being pretty chapped most of the time

- He was really self-conscious about it and nervous about kissing you at the beginning of your relationship because of this, he always avoided pressing his lips to your skin in any way out of fear that the rough, jagged skin would make you uncomfortable

- But eventually he confessed these fears to you when you asked if you could kiss him after you two had been on a couple of dates, and you reassured him that you didn’t mind his chapped lips in the slightest, and that you’d never judge him for something like that

- And after that conversation you make sure he knows that you carry chapstick around with you and that he's welcome to use it if he likes, but that you personally couldn’t care less if his lips are always chapped and will happily kiss him either way. You just don’t want him to feel self-conscious when, in your eyes, he’s the most beautiful boy you’ve ever seen, so if some chapstick can alleviate some of his anxiety and make him feel more confident then you’re happy to lend yours to him

- He likes it best when you put it on his lips for him, though :] It’s such a gentle and domestic act that it makes his heart absolutely swell with love for you as his face is covered in a cherry blush at your close proximity

- You also carry around snacks for him, since you know it’s important for his quirk! You keep his usual snacks that he eats before training on you at all times, so that you can offer them to him if he forgets his own or even if he just needs a little pick-me-up

- And in return he always carries around an extra water bottle just for you :>

- He knows that with how busy your lives are it can be difficult to remember proper hydration sometimes, so when he buys himself a water bottle he also buys one for you (and customizes it with cute little stickers of your interests/favorite things like the previous, thoughtful boyfriend that he is <3) and keeps it with him at all times so he can make sure you’re staying hydrated whenever he sees you (which is like, all the time lol)

- Oh oh oh! So y’all know those cute little couple heart-shaped lamp things, the ones that let you send a tiny message to your partner and they’ll receive it on their lamp and that you can control from your phone?

- Tamaki totally buys those as a gift for you on your anniversary or something like that. At first he was worried you’d think they’re lame and cheesy and wouldn’t like them, and he was very thankful when you got all excited about the gift and wrapped your arms around him as you pressed kisses across his face and thanked him profusely

- He knows you get to see each other pretty much every day, but he still likes being able to send you a “good night, I love you” message on the little lamps every night, and he likes being able to turn off your light for you to make sure you get a good night’s rest <3 (He knows he could just send the message as a text, but this feels more cute and personal to him)

- One of the best qualities Tamaki has in your relationship is that he’s an excellent communicator. The thought of losing you makes him feel physically ill, so he never wants any serious issues to develop between the two of you and always communicates whenever he’s having any kind of trouble, and encourages you to do the same with him

- If there’s an issue he wants to resolve it calmly and quickly before it can blow up or get out of hand, and if you’re struggling with something and need support, then he always wants to be right by your side helping you through your struggles however he can <3

Your eyes were full of adoration as you watched your boyfriend talk.

His dark eyes were trailed to your intertwined hands as he rambled about a new hero whom he admired. He had been talking for well over twenty minutes, and you silently prayed he would keep talking for eternity.

His low voice was filled with more emotion than you've heard before. He talked with passion and excitement, his anxiety long gone as he talked. His eyes shined with joy, and his pink lips were pulled into a small smile.

You couldn't help but get lost in his perfection, his words slowly blurring into the background. You itched to stroke his cheek, but held back, not wanting to ruin this perfect moment.

He darted his eyes to your face and blushed. The dark red blush only made him more attractive, and you couldn't resist.

Gently placing your hand on Tamaki's cheek, you look him in the eye.

"I-I'm sorry, I talked too much.." Tamaki murmured, his eyes cast down in insecurity.

"No Tama, it's alright. I love the sound of your voice, please keep talking." You murmur, slowly stroking his cheek.

the many ways tamaki amajiki says “i love you” wordlessly.

650 words, fluff / hbd tamaki!

tamaki amajiki has never been good with words.

frankly, he has never been good with actions either. the fear of expressing himself and potentially garnering unwanted attention has always been on the precipice of his worries. yet if he had to pick the lesser of the two evils, he’d choose actions.

actions, albeit still harrowing, are manageable when it comes to you.

with you, he can’t help but want to do something, anything. anything that can help make life a little bit easier for you. may it be to carry your bag and books, or treat you to your favourite meal, or — even more scandalous for the timid man — hold your hand to prevent you from slipping on icy sidewalks, he would do it all.

and he’s proud to say he does, although subtly to ensure you don’t notice. because if you ever did, he wouldn’t know how to explain himself. confessing to you is absolutely out of the question.

“the beef is sooo good!” you exclaim between bites.

at the moment, you’re eagerly digging into the yakiniku you two have ordered for lunch as he contently sits across from you. watching you eat has always been one of tamaki’s favourite pastimes. you eat with so much gusto and excitement that just the mere sight of your silly little smile has him smiling and happily munching on his own food.

correction, there mere sight of your silly little smile makes him happy in general.

your cheeks are noticeably full as you ask, “did you try some yet?”

“mhmm,” he responds meekly. he places another helping of meat on the edge of your plate as he does so, “it’s pretty tasty.”

tamaki inwardly smacks himself for lying to you. for the past few minutes, he’s been too preoccupied with grilling and placing most, if not all, the meat on your plate for him to actually try any of the food. in fact, having meals with you has always been this way — may it be peeling your shrimps, sneakily taking all of the vegetables you don’t like and replacing them with the ones you do like, or gifting you with his dessert.

but that’s information he could never share with you, lest his feelings slip out.

a ghost of a smile lingers on his lips when he sees that a smidge of yakiniku sauce marks the corner of your lips. it’s cute. you’re cute. he has the strongest urge to kiss it — no, wipe it off for you, but he knows that doing so would only render him a collapsed and flustered heap on the table.

“you have a little something here,” instead, tamaki opts to tell you. he points to the corner of his own mouth to indicate where the sauce is on your lips. again, he finds you adorable as you fumble to wipe it off, spewing out an embarrassed ‘how did that get there?’

he fondly looks on as you continue to devour the rest of the meat on your plate, wishing that there’s more he could for you. wishing that he didn’t have to be so subtle around you. wishing that he could simply pick up his chopsticks and feed you like his hand has been itching to do since you two sat down.

but for now, wishing is all he could do. it’s not a lot but tamaki is content. he’s content in knowing that these small gestures are still enough to make life slightly easier for you. he only hopes that these small gestures could eventually build up to the moment where he finally tells you how he truly feels.

until then, he’ll stay subtle.

( what tamaki doesn’t realize is that as he busies himself with serving you grilled meat, you’ve been putting some of them on his own plate when he isn’t looking. he isn’t as subtle as he likes to believe, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t love watching him try. )

You had been fighting villains with Tamaki all day. Somewhere along the way, you had lost your glasses. You were unsure where they could be, and doubted they were still in tact anyway.

You were now laying on your bed in your room now. You opened your phone and squinted as you typed in the website for your local eyewear shop. You typed in your prescription.

They were out of stock and wouldn’t be restocked for another week.

“Shit…” you muttered to yourself.

You sat down your phone.

You closed your eyes and put your arm over your eyes. Your eyes were hurting greatly from all of the squinting.

Your head was pounding and the light was starting to hurt your eyes.

You heard a notification ring from your phone. You picked up your phone and removed your arm from over your eyes, opening them and squinting to read the text.

(The text)

Tamaki: Hey, do you want any food? Im ordering takeout.

You begin to type in a response as a throb suddenly attacks your head.

You hold your head in your hands.

You finish the text once the throbbing passes.

After about an hour, Tamaki knocks on the door of your dorm.

“Why” Tamaki asked, making his way over to your bedside.

“My prescription glasses are out for the next week so i have to wait until then” you respond.

“Well, would you like a hug then? Would that help?” he offered this while stretching his arms out for a hug.

arms folded and an amused smile tugging on his lips, he leans side-ways against door frame as he watches you struggle to reach the shelf because he finds it cute. “need help, darling?” he asks teasingly, grinning wider at your annoyed huff before he finally walks towards you and grabs it for you.

he’s passing by the kitchen when he sees you trying to reach something in the upper cabinets. he takes just a while to watch the cute sight with an a fond smile then quietly comes up behind you, one hand placed on your waist while the other effortlessly reaches up for the shelf. “here,” he says, handing you the glassware, then leaves a small kiss on top of your head.

he comes into the kitchen, acting like he’s going to help you but instead, cages you against the counter. his head tilted to the side, he looks at you with a playful glint in his eyes and a light-hearted grin on his face. “i think i should get something in return if i help you.” he then steals a kiss before reaching up the cabinet for you.

he’s so focused on reading the ingredients listed on the ramen pack that he doesn’t notice you struggling to reach for the shelf. only when he glances at you and sees you climb onto the counter, he rushes over to you, hurriedly saying, “oh my god, y/n, what are you doing?” he already knows the answer and softly tells you to be careful. letting out a small chuckle, he helps you come down, saying, “you could’ve just asked me, love,”

he finds the whole situation very cute and kind of teases you about it afterwards, but first he comes up to you with a playful smile on his face and helps you get what you want but before giving it to you he puts his arms up behind his back and tells you to give him a kiss as a reward, only then will you get what you wanted.

he doesn’t think twice when he sees you taking a chair to get up and get what you want; he thinks it’s cute, but at the same time he’s worried that you might fall and get hurt. “hey, don’t worry love, next time you can call me and i’ll help you” he says calmly as you get off the chair and kiss your forehead.

he would smirk as he enters the kitchen and sees you on tiptoe as you stretch your arm. he stands behind you and one hand he holds your waist while the other goes to the shelf and takes what you want. he smiles when you thank him and leaves a kiss on your neck before leaving.

he would smile so hugely at the cute scene; he would silently approach you and make one of his feathers to take what you want and bring it to him. you turn around a little startled, and he smiles when he sees your expression. “looking for this, honey?” he asks with a gentle yet provocative smile. you went to take it from his hands and thank him but before you could do anything he says, “oh not so fast.. i want my payment first” he says pouting, ready for you to kiss him as a reward.

he chuckles, extending his arms and easily reaching the shelf. as he hands you the package, his lips curl up into a grin, his eyebrows raised in a teasing manner, “aren’t you lucky you have me, huh,” he says, poking your cheek playfully before leaning back on the counter and tugging you closer.

when he walks into the kitchen and sees you, he can’t help but smile a little. he silently walks over to you and leans on the other counter, watching you from behind. you give up with a sigh and when you turn around you’re startled by him standing there with his arms crossed and a look you couldn’t decipher. “need some help?” he says, but you know just saying ‘yes’ won’t do, he wants to hear you asking. “yes, tomura. can you get it for me, please?” you ask but he just stares at you with a frown, “ugh, what else do you want me to do?” he just laughs, still waiting. you then approach and kiss his cheek and he quickly blushes, avoiding looking at you. “isn’t that what you wanted?” you ask jokingly and he grumbles something before getting what you want.

Just fluff and domesticity

— Do you think we have it all already?— Tamaki had asked, checking the red plastic basket full of groceries — We have the tapioca starch, fruits, milk...

— Yup, but guess what? —she turned to him with a playful twist of her head— You just won a coupon for a free meal cooked by yours truly. And I need some ingredients. The other day you said you were craving some pasta, right?

He swayed his head from side to side, barely containing a smile. Tamaki let himself be pulled further into the supermarket by their intertwined pinkies.

It was late in the afternoon when the weekly errands were finished and they settled back home for the night. It was an odd pretty thing, this routine both had built for their matching days off, whenever it was. It wasn't normally disrupted by a trip to the supermarket, but in Tamaki's book, quality time doesn't need a specific place to occur. The bought goods sat on the counter, while he rearranged them on their rightful places in the cabinet or the fridge. He had taken a pair of tomatoes from the bag, when she shamelessly stole them from his hands.

— Thanks, Tama, you're always such a gentleman —she teased and kissed his cheek before turning to the chopping board, light on her feet.

It wasn't out of the ordinary, but it was peculiar and funny to see her all...bubbly, like clear water from a stream. He laughed at her.

— You really are excited about making that pasta, wonder were that's coming from? —he got close to the sink, rolling up his sleeves.

— Nope, you're not working on this today, Hun —her hand went to his arm, stopping him from filling the pot with water.— This is my way to say thank you for all your hard work, it won't make sense if you're cooking too! This is your coupon, remember?

Tamaki could feel the heat on his face and the pickup of his heart rate.

— I-um... Okay. But at least let me prepare the boba tea. I want to thank you for your hard work too and —he spoke softly in a classic Tamaki fashion, looking at her right in her round eyes. He had become good at holding eye contact with other people. He thought it may have been due to her influence —, for putting up with me all this time.

She sat the knife on the chopping board, and her arms went to hang loosely around his neck— You know I'm not putting up with you, right? I'm here with you because I love you. I wouldn't be who I am now if it weren't for you, and believe me, I like who I am right now. Do you want me to remind you? —her voice was softer, lower like a whispered secret, as her fingertips rubbed his nape.

Tamaki shuddered under her touch and gaze. His nod was short, almost imperceptible under the weight of his shame. She hugged him tight, scratching his scalp and rubbing his nape. He felt himself go warmer after getting a few kisses on his cheek, heart pounding even faster when she whispered:

— You know I've never really had a favorite hero when I was a kid, right? None of them actually made me feel that sense of... admiration, so to speak. But after my time in UA, the internships and all that, I changed my mind. You are my favorite hero, Tamaki. You are my hero.

Tamaki sighed, like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He felt petty, needing to be reassured of something he already knew.

They stood there for a few minutes, holding each other tight, swaying slowly from side to side. Then the urgency to eat came over, and both returned to their tasks: Tamaki prepared the boba tea, she cooked the pasta. The mood picked up fast, with her bumping his hips and vice versa. She hand fed him some sauce and he hummed in satisfaction. Soon enough the food was plated and they sat next to each other at the table.

— Hmm! This is good! —Tamaki said, eyes closed in bliss as he chewed his portion.

— Right? Just the best for my baby.

— What? —he laughed— How come I'm your baby when I'm older than you?

— Shush it, silly, you are my baby.

He just laughed at her goofiness again. Then he waited, relying on his hero instincts, calculating the best time for a swift attack, and stole a spoonful of her own pasta, and stuffed it right into his mouth.

— Hey, that was mine!

He snorted.

The dishes were washed and she sat at a small table on the balcony. She was surrounded by plants and had a clear view of the city lights. It was as peaceful as the busy metropolis could be. In moments like this, she wished the days off were everlasting.

Tamaki arrived shortly, holding two glass cups of the boba tea he had made earlier. He hadn't even fully entered the balcony when a fit of giggles bubbled out of his mouth.

— What is it? —she raised a brow.

Her boyfriend didn't answer. Instead, he put both glasses on the table and left the room, only to return with a napkin, which he used to wipe away some remnants of sauce from her lips.

— There, all better. —he found it very endearing, how her cheeks lit up with color and her eyes averted his gaze, visibly embarrassed. Even the way she tried to play it off was adorable, his silly girl.

— Oh, clumsy me... Haha...

— Even if you're clumsy, I'll always be by your side to clean up your little messes —Tamaki smiled softly, crouched in front of her—. It's the least I can do for you.

She hid her face behind her hands, voice tight in a whine— But I don't want you cleaning my messes though? I'm not a kid!

She had always had an ability to fluster him with sincere compliments and cheesy remarks. One of her favorite things to say was that her job was to show him how loved he was, and if it had to be done by flustering him, then the better. His job, on the other hand, on his own words, was to make her feel safe, so safe that not even her own demons could do her any harm. But it was nice to turn the tables from time to time.

Tamaki pryed her hands out, placing them on her chest— This is where I want your hands to be. It's just me here, so don't hide. Besides —he smiled—, you may not be a kid, but you're still my baby.

— Tamaki! That's my line!

He laughed.

Thinking of Tamaki Amajiki with a reader who paints. Just made this, so barely any proof lol. Love you all🤍 totally not self-indulgent

He’ll just sit with you while you paint, your back against his chest. He’s watching you, watching the process. It’s extremely calming to him to watch your slow precise detailing. He will either watch you, listen to something, or just zone out in his thoughts. He’s fallen asleep before, arms around your waist, head on your shoulder.

“Honey?” It always causes him to jump slightly

“Y-yes?”

“I Need to go change my paint water”

“I g-got it”

Has used his quirk to just grab you stuff, so you don’t get up so he doesn’t have to let you go

Gets all flustered when you peck his cheek as a ‘thank you’

He's also used it to stop you from drinking paint water

You’ve scared the hell out of him once. You were listening to a book or podcast or something. It was completely quiet and calming, and then you let out the loudest and most sudden laugh ever. Like barrel over gasping, WEEZING, and snorting. And Tamaki almost goes flying back. His quirk activating

“Wh-what happened?!”

You have an art book full of finished and unfinished pieces, a good portion being him. You just find it comforting to paint him when he’s out on a long mission.

You’ve paint him,Kiri, and Fat Gum once,(like a portrait) and now it hangs in Fat Gums house.

Fat Gum had stopped by to drop something off for Tamaki, but you answered. When he saw the painting half finished on the easel he commented. Commending you on your work. You offered it to him, smiling brightly stating ‘I’m running out of wall space,’

He proudly hangs it on his wall.

The two of them, Kirishima and Fat Gum, ADORE you. Just this sweet little painter who’s as quiet at Tamaki but not as shy

Kirishima met you during his and Tamaki's patrol. You had this felt shopping bag on your arm, a painted octopus on it. Kirishima could instantly tell why Tamaki liked you, you were so sweet and quiet but sure. You said you were picking some stuff up for supper but also needed more paint cleaner.

Kiri watched in almost stunned silence as his shy partner walked up to you. He watched Tamaki lightly rub away dried pants from your cheek. Mumbling something to you about being careful. The paint had been just slightly off from your skin tone- so Kiri didn’t even notice.

First time Kiri sees your art studio, a painting of Crimson Riot as well as some of the other hero’s you grew up with are on the wall. The man’s jaw drops. Like he knew you where good at painting but DAMN.

For kiri birthday you painted him shoes with little sharks on them- yeah Kiri loves you.

Tamaki is also the kinda of boyfriend that reminds you eat or drink when you’re a little to far into your artist zone.

“B-bunny I brought you some- did-did you not drink anything?”

He will sit behind you, squeezing you lightly every once and awhile-

“Bunny, maybe drink some water.”
