“Christ’s wounds were in fact not healed. He’s got them now, in Heaven. He had them when He appeared to the disciples; they’re part of the imitation of Christ by the stigmatic saints. God heals some wounds. Others, He glorifies. He transforms them in some way we can’t necessarily imagine beforehand, just as we can’t quite imagine what it will mean for our flesh to be glorified in the Resurrection.”

The actual Mary Magdalene
I will never forgive Pope Gregory I for what he did to Mary Magdalene and how she's been demonised for years because of it. Mary Magdalene was never a sex worker, and was one of the most devout women within the Bible. SHE WAS RIGHTFULLY AN APOSTLE, St. Thomas Aquinas even called her the Apostle to the Apostles, she only got a specific saint day (not a memorial day) in 2016-
Mary Magdalene has been destroyed by history, which she never deserved.

Eastern Orthodox Shark Week.
JOKE-OGRAPHY:
This comic features a famous episode from the Bible where Jesus walks on water to get to His disciples' boat, which is stuck in a storm. In this cartoon, however, Jesus is accompanied by a new disciple, a megalodon (giant shark) named Mary. He calls her "Mary Megalodon," which sounds like "Mary Magdalene," another of Jesus's loyal disciples (the woman who's stowed away in the last panel). Mary Megalodon is not actually in the canonical books of the Bible.

Saint Mary Magdalene (C)
1st century
Feast day: July 22
Patronage: contemplative life, converts, glove makers, hairdressers, penitent sinners, sexual temptation
St. Mary Magdalen has been called the second-most important woman in the New Testament after Mary the mother of Jesus. Mary Magdalene traveled with Jesus as one of His followers. She was present at Jesus' two most important moments: the crucifixion and the resurrection. Within the four Gospels, the oldest historical record mentioning her name, she is named at least 12 times, more than most of the apostles. The Gospel references describe her as courageous, brave enough to stand by Jesus in his hours of suffering, death and beyond.
