To be honest, it disappoints me to see fellow Jerry Lewis fans that I know and like, commenting (on Rick Sapphire's fb post) in anticipation of the release of this smut from a thief and a liar that Jerry fired for stealing funds. I'll continue to trash the book as just that. I'm not here to make friends with Rick Sapphire, Gary Lewis, Chris Lewis, or Anthony Lewis, and take their sole word on things, when literally all of them have a history of being thieves and stealing shit from Jerry. Chris moderately so, but I have personal items from Jerry's office that Chris sold to the seller that sold them to me. Chris also was charged with stealing art when he was in the art business, so there's that. The others stole from Jerry personally, and Jerry knew about it. I've been told recently that the Jerry Lewis family watches my posts on here, youtube, and elsewhere. Go ahead, I kind of figured that anyway, with the whole Chris Lewis/Morgan Christina Lewis fiasco. I'm sure I struck a nerve with my first video saying stuff about the family and that whole situation. I have nothing to gain from kissing up to these people, so I'll just continue to make waves until the Lewis family snuffs me out (lol just kidding). I'm sure The Dean Martin Family Trust hates me too for the nude Dean photo last yr.
Tumblr media
Rick if you're reading this which I'm sure you are.... Why don't you tell the readers that you were fired by Jerry as his manager, for mismanaging funds? Maybe then we'll take this book seriously and with a grain of salt. That's the least you can do. I challenge you. But he won't and he's been on a get Jerry back vendetta for like 17 yrs now? First with the Suzan Lewis thing, and using that poor woman, until he and Gary were through with her. Then various other shit, and now this.

Chapter 1, Chapter 2,-
Tumblr media
Life is difficult sometimes, and it’s not easy to wake up every day and go through what you have to face. But the beauty in difficult times is we can share it with the people who care.
For you being able to meet others like friends and family is a privilege.
Because since the day your ex Lloyd Hansen caught you, he never left you alone. You’ve never seen him this possessive when you left him three years ago. His demeanor changed because he almost lost everything he had built to catch this one guy.
He makes sure everything is going along with his plan.
He starts to rebuild and fix his name in the security business. Like today, you will accompany Lloyd to a charity party where he meets potential clients.
You looked at yourself through the mirror. You wear an expensive dress from Valentino and an expensive necklace hanging on your neck. Lloyd gave you an expensive gift to spoil you. But you don’t feel anything because he held your fiance hostage.
Suddenly the bathroom door got knocked, and a voice could be heard from outside. "Y/N hurry up, we need to go."
You sighed heavily and opened the door. "I’m ready."
When he saw you walking out of the dressing room, Lloyd felt accomplished seeing you looking beautiful with the dress and accessories.
"Perfect. I knew sapphire would be perfect with you." He kisses your cheeks while you hold your urge not to vomit.
He linked your arm with his "Let's go."
Tumblr media
At the party.
When rich people gathered, some people could feel intimidated. You feel it too, but not with Lloyd. This kind of event is his playground.
He is always confident and charismatic, and the guest also got mesmerized by him. The other reason is that his uncle Reynold Hansen, the Vice President, held the event.
You knew Reynold Hansen as a terrible person. His history in the military is also bad. There's evidence that could prove that, but then 'poof' it's gone.
It must be Lloyd who made it possible.
Hansen men are scary. They are persistent; they will do anything to get what they want, no matter their method.
Reynold saw you sitting at the table alone, he talked to Lloyd. "I told you to get rid everything related to the mission. Instead you keep her and a patient."
Lloyd smirked. "Be grateful that I made a path to make you win, uncle."
He won't let anyone talk shit about you, he whispered near Reynold's ear. “If back then you and the President not so fucked up in the head, it won’t be like this.”
Reynold scoffed. “Look at yourself, Lloyd, we’re the same. Both of us have fucked up minds. You imprisoned the woman you love.”
What Reynold said kicked Lloyd in the nuts because what he said it’s true.
Lloyd believed that if you stayed beside him, he could make the old you return.
Perhaps because he already faced death before, it was a miracle he could wake up. The moment he wakes up from his deathbed, all he can't think about is you. He wants to spend the rest of his life with you.
The story between you and Lloyd starts from the day he entered Harvard. You’re quiet and intelligent in class but always follow him around. Everyone is sure you will enter a famous fund management company after graduation.
But instead, you join the CIA. Everyone said you are crazy, but Lloyd likes it because he likes being a priority.
When he got kicked out from the CIA, you also joined him. With your brain, both of you build Hansen Security together.
No matter what method he used to capture the target, you never complained like Susan.
He knew you had feelings towards him, but he didn't acknowledge it. Instead, he played with it. As long you stay with him.
He admit that it was a stupid move and that his biggest regret. Because you suddenly quit being his business partner and left without saying goodbye.
When he found out you joined the task force, he wondered why, but the reason was still unanswered.
Then he felt like being shot when he saw you with Rick Flag. It made him mad.
That man doesn't deserve you. It was perfect timing when Reynold asked him to eliminate Amanda Waller's task force.
Kill two birds with one stone.
Now he has you in his arms; he won't let this chance turn to dust.
He won't betray your trust anymore. He knew you hated him, but he would never let you go.
And he admires your will to survive even know you hate every time he touches and kisses your cheeks. He never sees your disgust and anger through your expression.
Reynold knew his nephew was lunatic and sadistic, but he needed Lloyd to get where he stood. He sips the champagne. "But still, I don't like her."
"You don't have to."
Sometimes Lloyd hates this trait from family. If a man and woman from Hansen like someone, they will only love that one person for the rest of their life.
“My wife wants to talk to her. She wonder what kind of woman could tolerate you.”
Lloyd chuckled. “She probably like Y/N.”
While both men were talking, an older woman walked towards you. The way she walks shows how elegant she is, and every guest nods their head to show their respect.
Her name is Caroline Hansen. She came from a well-known family who was always famous for philanthropy and charity.
She saw you sitting alone and sat in the empty chair beside you. Her strong perfume doesn’t make you nauseous but calms you. “Mrs. Caroline.”
“Y/N, we finally meet.” She puts her hand on your shoulder, and then her eyes move to your stomach, which you’ve been stroking the whole time. She couldn’t help to ask, “How long have you been pregnant?”
You gulped. “Three months.”
Caroline put her hands on her mouth like she was excited. “Congratulations, my dear. But how are you feelings?”
“I’m fine.”
She asked again, “How are you feeling?”
Her question made you breathe and sigh heavily; you lowered your head to ensure Lloyd couldn’t read your lips. “I’m this close to lose my mind.”
Caroline wanted to say something to you, but she saw her husband and Lloyd near the table; she gripped your hand and whispered, "Remember the goal Y/N. I will contact you."
After she said that, she slowly stood up and approached Reynold, and both greeted the other guest. While Lloyd sits beside you, he leans closer. “Is she nice to you?”
You smiled at him and tapped his right thigh. “Yes, she’s really lovely.” The only person in this room who cares about you.
Tumblr media
At Lloyd's residence.
Your body rests on a shared bed with Lloyd while he massages your foot. After the party, he noticed how you walk is different, so he did this.
"Carol wants to meet you. Do you want to?"
You lowered your book and looked at him. "Hmm, sure."
After being with him for months, you knew how to deal with him. Always acknowledge and look him in the eye whenever you talk to him. He never touched her sexually, but you never know how long he kept this act.
Every night he always got a nightmare. Not being a winner affects him badly. He will calm down as long as you rub his back where he got shot and massage his left palm, which lost a few fingers.
Seeing him lower his guard made you think of a hundred ways to kill him.
But you won't do it because the time is not right.
You have waited for this moment for 25 years.

Handy blog on eyeshine, important to understand when squatching at night…
Eyeshine in animals is produced by a special membrane, called the tapetum lucidum (tapestry of light), a reflective surface that is located directly behind the retina. When the small rays of light found in the night, like starlight or moonlight, enter the eye, they bounce off the membrane, giving the eye a second chance to use the light. For animals that have this membrane, it is like having a built in flashlight that lights a path from the inside out.
The tapetum lucidum, coupled with big eyes and lots of light-sensing rod cells, allow nocturnal mammals to see well in dark or dim conditions. But eyeshine isn’t limited to mammals. Once, while at the edge of a pond listening to the midnight chorus of frogs, my flashlight caught the glimmering, emerald-green eyes of a huge bullfrog. And in my obsession over eyeshine, I am eagerly looking forward to the summer, when I will be searching the forest floor for the ruby red glow of a wolf spider’s eyes. I only wish that my eyes would glow, a fierce sapphire blue in the darkest of night, but although humans have many interesting adaptations, good night vision is not one of them. Our abundance of cones and lack of rods mean we see more colors than most other animals, but we can’t see in the dark. And we don’t have a tapetum lucidum – when our eyes appear red in photographs, it’s a reflection of the camera’s flash off the red blood cells of the choroid, which is a vascular layer behind the retina.
Eyeshine color varies by species, from the amber glow of a bobcat to the red glint of a black bear. The different colors are produced by the mineral content and the structure of the tapetum lucidum, as well as varying pigments in the retina. There does seem to be some overlap of colors, like bobcat and raccoon having yellow/amber eyeshine.
So is it at all possible to identify an animal by eyeshine color alone? According to ecologist and long-time tracker Dr. Rick van de Poll, eyeshine is somewhat variable so that even within the same species the color can look a bit different. Factors that influence individual eyeshine color, according to van de Poll, include the age and individual chemistry of the animal, as well as seasonal variation and the angle and intensity of the light hitting the eye. But this doesn’t deter van de Poll from using eyeshine as a clue to identifying mammals. “It’s part of the information” he said, “but you have to also be paying attention to the animal’s behavior, the shape and placement of the eyes, and how the animal moves away from the light, or if it even moves away from the light at all.”

Signal Fire - Epilogue
Tumblr media
Summary: Two years after Corroded Coffin finally made it big, Eddie learns that Chrissy's mother has passed away. He returns to Hawkins in the hope of reuniting with her, but would Chrissy be able to overcome her fears and allow herself some happiness at last?
Warnings: angst, implied/mentions of abuse, homophobia, and drug use, some smut
Chapter word count: 1.5k
Chapter 1 - Chapter 2
Epilogue
Four months later
Despite boasting the only bar with live music in the entire town, the Hideout had never been a hotspot in the Hawkins nightlife scene. It plodded along thanks to a handful of regulars, the odd bachelor's or bachelorette's party that had run out of places to go, and the town drunks. It wasn't even enough of a dive to attract the rough crowd and the curious out-of-towners.
But that night, the Hideout was, perhaps for the first time ever in its existence, packed.
And here was the reason for the crowd—the four men sitting backstage, having a drink (they never drank before a show while on tour, but this was a special occasion, and they felt like giving themselves a little treat), laughing and chatting, feeling more relaxed than they ever had before a show, because they were back on their home turf. Corroded Coffin, fresh off their European tour and back in Hawkins for their one-night-only surprise homecoming show.
OK, maybe not all of them were relaxed. Their frontman kept walking to the door and peering out, clearly waiting for someone.
They may have played in front of thousands of fans, but there was always that one person that made a show special, and for Eddie Munson, that person was Chrissy Cunningham.
Since the day he casually told her "You should come see us" when they met for a drug deal in the woods behind their school (long story), he never dreamed it would take nearly twenty years and so much heartache for that invitation to become reality.
But that wasn't the only reason Eddie was nervous. The other reason was the velvet box burning a hole through the pocket of his leather jacket. He'd picked it up in an antique shop in Milan, choosing a sapphire instead of the more typical diamond because it reminded him of Chrissy's eyes.
They'd talked about marriage, of course—in fact, before he left for Europe, Eddie had suggested they went to Hawkins Town Hall and had a courthouse wedding right then and there, but Chrissy had sensibly suggested that they found a place to live first. She had sold her parents' house, and after Eddie came back from Europe, they had moved into an apartment not far from Wayne's, but both wanted an actual house, somewhere Eddie could set up a recording studio.
An opportunity had come from the most unexpected place—Reefer Rick, Eddie's former supplier, was looking to sell his house by Lover's Lake and move to Florida. "All those retirees, man," he'd told Eddie, chuckling. "Maybe I'll get back into business!"
When Eddie brought it up to Chrissy, he'd thought she would balk at the idea of buying a house of a former drug dealer, but she'd jumped at it. "As long as he didn't have any secret stash hidden there and we're not getting visited by disgruntled mobsters in the middle of the night, of course," she'd said with a grin.
Eddie had laughed at that. "No, Rick's stopped dealing years ago. But are you sure? We may never get the smell of weed out of the walls."
"Think about it. You can have your studio overlooking the lake. And there's a boathouse, we can go rowing or swimming in the summer. We can fix it up. It'll be fun!"
In the end, her enthusiasm had won him over.
The renovation was going to take a while—certainly, it wasn't going to be completed before the recording of Corroded Coffin's next album. They were going back to LA for that. But Eddie didn't mind. Chrissy and Wayne were going to join him in LA for winter break anyway, and they could take their time with the house.
So Eddie wasn't worried about Chrissy's answer. He only wondered if she would like the ring. He wondered what would be the right moment. In front of the crowd would be too cheesy and ostentatious, wouldn't it?
Lenny, the Hideout's owner, stuck his head in. "Ready, guys?"
"Been ready for twenty years, Len," Gareth quipped.
"Then get out there! I'm not paying you to lounge around!"
"You're not paying us, period," Grant reminded him.
"Just give us a couple of pizzas as usual, and we'll call it even," Jeff chimed in, and they laughed.
To all that banter, Eddie was only half-listening. He scanned the crowd again, but there was no sign of Chrissy. Where was she? He'd left early for sound check, and she was going to pick Wayne up. Nothing could've happened to them, could it?
To reassure himself, he reached for the comforting weight of the ring box in his pocket, and that was when his heart went cold. The pocket was empty.
"Shit," Eddie said out loud.
"Something wrong, man?" Jeff asked.
"I can't find the ring box!" He started the universal move of patting himself down while simultaneously looking around the room. "Has anybody seen it?"
Lights were turned on, empty bottles were cleared, gears lifted, every surface of tables and chairs and floor swept, but there was no sign of the box.
"When's the last time you saw it?" Grant asked.
"It's always here, in my jacket! I never took it out!"
"Maybe you dropped it in the van," Gareth suggested.
Shit, shit, shit. This was not how Eddie wanted to start his homecoming show, crawling on all fours on the none-too-clean floor of the Hideout's backstage area. The only consolation was that Chrissy didn't know about the ring. Worse comes to worst, he could always buy a new one. It wouldn't be the same, but at least it would be something. But he'd so wanted to propose to her at the Hideout... And although they were now splitting their time between LA and Hawkins, the rest of the band still resided in LA, so who knew when they could get together for another homecoming show like this...
There was a knock on the door.
"In a minute, Len!" Eddie shouted.
"What on Earth is going on here?" a voice asked.
It was Chrissy.
Eddie jumped to his feet. "Uh, nothing. Grant dropped his contact lenses."
A little smile tugged at Chrissy's lips. "I didn't know you wore contacts, Grant."
"I did. I mean, I do. Just recently," Grant stuttered while slowing backing away until he was safely out of Chrissy's eye line, glaring at Eddie all the way for making him the scapegoat.
Ignoring him, Chrissy turned to Eddie. "Sorry I'm late. Couldn't find my keys. I did find something of yours though..."
She pulled something out of her purse.
The ring box.
"It must've fallen out of your pocket when you put your jacket on the coat rack, or rather threw it," she said, with that teasing smile still lingering on her lips. Eddie felt his own face grow hot as the guys smirked at him.
He didn't have time to dwell on his embarrassment though, because the lights were already dimming, the crowd was roaring, and his bandmates were taking their places. He picked up his guitar.
"Have a great show," Chrissy said, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. Then she trailed her lips to his ear and whispered, "The answer's yes, by the way."
Though her answer was completely expected, Eddie's heart still did a happy somersault. He stared at her, too ecstatic to even reply. When he finally found his voice again, he pressed the box back into her hand. "Maybe you should hold on to this then," he said. "I don't want to drop it onstage."
Her smile brightened until her eyes shone like the sapphire on the ring, and she pulled him toward her for another kiss before pushing him onstage. "Go on. Let's see if you've improved since that middle school talent show."
If anyone at the Hideout that night had been to a Corroded Coffin show before, they may have noticed something about this particular gig, something more special than a mere homecoming. Even Jeff, Grant, and Gareth noticed that their frontman was playing with more passion, more spirit than ever, as though lit by some inner fire.
As usual, about halfway through the show, they were about to kick things up a notch with their first big hit. It was the one everybody knew, the one everyone was waiting to hear, the one inspired by Chrissy and was completed during those heartbreaking months when he thought he'd lost her forever, never dreaming that one day they would find their way back to each other, that this happiness would be possible. Impulsively, he leaned over to the mic and said, "Chrissy, this is for you."
The crowd went wild, but all Eddie saw was the one person that mattered to him in that moment, her face lit up like a beacon, calling out to him, guiding him. He fixed his gaze on that light and let himself get lost in the music and her.
THE END

Links fanfic intro chapter 2!!! (YOUR STILL GAY!!😲!!)
this has a lot of plot convenience so don't come at me, also sorry if there's ooc, this is like my first time writing for Lu so I'm not exactly Shakespeare yet.
....
When wind woke up he was met with the blinding light of the sun on his face
Also he was also on someones....back? what was going on-
"Oh, your awake! That's probably a good sign considering how banged up you were when I found you last night."
Wind shrieked and jumped, making the mysterious person almost drop him on the grass
"hey your alright I'm not gonna hurt you, your safe, were in Persephone woods and I'm taking you to Tari Takii town to see a healer, your safe ok?" The person reassured him
Now that it was daytime wind could get a better look at the person, though not at there face considering there mouth was covered by a face mask and the rest of them was covered by a hood.
"Buuut you still probably are pretty confused, but that's expected considering you were probably half asleep when I found you, well if I'm gonna be transporting you I'd better tell you my name first, I'm... Sapphire, and....yours?" sapphire as wind now knew them as, asked
"I'm.... Wind." He muttered, still not fully awake and slightly dazed
"Ook well wind your names a little funky but don't worry your safe with me!" Sapphire said as he walked along the forest floor, hopping over the occasional tree stump or overgrown root
Wind had to admit, this Persephone woods or whatever sapphires had called it, was actually really pretty, there were little white blue and red birds flying about, animals and squirrels racing around the trees, which had light green and yellow flowy leaves that hung down, some even had flowers growing on them.
they sat in silence for a few minutes, nothing but the occasional crunch of a leaf under sapphires feet would interrupt it.
..
"Were you the random guy who found me last night, and made the fire?" Wind asked
"Oh yea that was me, yea you were lookin pretty rough when I found you, its a good thing I did too, otherwise the Bokoblins would've gotten to you first, the Persephone woods are dangerous at night" Sapphire grimaced
A place as peaceful as this, dangerous? The sailor thought
"I thought I was dead, when I saw you I thought I was hallucinating!" Wind explained, that got a laugh out of sapphire
"Yea well once we get you on over to Tarii you'll be alright, the Medic there's Mr. Artemis he'll fix you right up, you'll might be stuck in bed for a day or two but you'll be alright." Sapphire chirped happily
"Yea...." Wind said, a slight hint of sadness lingered in his voice
"You sound sad, is there something bothering you?" Sapphire questioned, halting to a stop as he looked back at the sailor, a concerned look on his face
"It's just..
*how the hell do I tell him? Oh yea I have 7 older brothers and a dad we was in another fucking dimension and I got a really shitty concussion and a assy portal opened and I landed in the middle of the fucking woods*
"My brothers, we were...in a fight and got separated, and that's when you found me in the woods, I just wanna know if they're ok." Wind said
"Yknow there probably thinking the exact same thing right now, there out there somewhere looking for you." Sapphire said reassuringly
"I just...I hope I can see them again, wherever they are." He sighed
Sapphire smiled softly "well I think they'd be happy to know there brothers in good hands."
"Yea...me too." Wind said
He felt better, his head still hurt but at least he wasn't at rick of dying of severe blood loss, this sapphire guy, he was....strange to say the least but surprisingly comforting, he didn't feel quite comfortable putting his life in the hands of a complete stranger, if he had learned anything from his time on the sea its that you can't trust anyone, but sapphire had been nothing but kind to him, surely he wouldn't magically betray him? And sapphire wasn't a pirate like he was, he was a seemingly normal guy in fact, the sailor decided he'd trust him for now, and if he felt like betraying him, well that was his own fault.
....
they walked in silence for about another half hour, Wind could feel himself drift off again, he could see the sunset through the peeks of the trees, the birds had begun to settle in there nests and the squirrels no longer scampered across the thin branches. He shut his eyes and prepared to let sleep overtake him once again
Until he heard a call off in the distance
"WIND!"
Fuck sleep, wind thought his head immediately shot up, making sapphire jump a little at the sudden movement, could it really be
Sure enough, out of the corner of his eye he could see the blue of warriors scarf, twilights pelt, times armour-, he knew he wasn't hallucinating this time, that he knew for a fact, was his family
Sapphire noticed "I suppose those are your brothers then huh?" He asked, Wind nodded eagerly
Sapphire set him down against a tree
"Well, I guess my work here is done then, glad I could help you out a little." He said, as he stood up, and started to walk off into the forest
"Stay safe out there!" Sapphire said as he gave him one last smile
And just like that, he was gone, faded into the trees.
...
"Sailor! Are you all right, are you ok, I thought we'd never find you." Time said as he out his hands on winds shoulders
the captain laughed "aww look at the old man, being a mom again."
"oh shut up wars you act like you weren't up crying all night!" Legend said
Wars fake gasped "this is PERSONAL!"
Everyone was so caught up in the fact that there brother was alive and well, they didn't notice the setting sun looming over the trees
"Yknow we should probably find some place to set up camp soon, it's getting late." Sky said as he pointed to the sky (haha get it)
And so they were off, off into this Hyrule for however long Hylia decided they would.
Little did wind Know, it would not be his last encounter with Sapphire, but that would have to wait
....
Yea the ending is literal dog shit I literally did not know what to put I promise I'm not a bad writer pls keep reading

They called him Super Rick Fan, which Morty had to admit was a fair assessment. He just couldn’t help it. Ricks were just so cool. They were tall and handsome, with those sapphire eyes and cocky grins. And Ricks could do anything, anything in the world. They made portal guns and drove space ships and captured teams of Mortys to grace them with their godly presence. Super Rick Fan would have been the best Morty a Rick could ever have if only he got the chance, but for some reason they always fled him. Even his own grandpa had pronounced him crazy and dumped him on the Citadel one day, never to return.
On a normal Sunday afternoon, Morty sat in his claustrophobic living room working on his new hat. He had designed it himself, and now he was lovingly rendering the peaks of a classic Rick hairdo in blue felt. In wandered his roommate, Mixologist Morty, late rising after a closing shift at the bar. Morty barely looked up until Mixy came to hover over him, casually holding a bowl and spoon.
"Ok, d-don't start," Morty said, watching Mixy chew on a bite of his cereal.
"This is so cringe," Mixy replied, his mouth full.
"M-Maybe I'm cringe but at least I know what I want."
"There's no 'maybe' about it.” Mixy sat on the other end of the couch.
"I can't help it. Every time I think about a big strong Rick h-holding me close, I just..." He sighed, feeling sappy.
"You're a h-hopeless case," Mixy agreed.
"I want my own Rick so bad. Is that too much to ask? I-I'd be a good Morty. No, the best Morty if a Rick would just give me a chance."
The corner of Mixy's mouth twitched upwards. "Bet you'd do anything to get a date with a Rick."
"To have a Rick pay attention to me a-a-and kiss me and..." He trailed off into private, erotic thoughts, face warming.
"So, say I had a Rick's number right here," said Mixy, holding up a folded piece of paper between his fingers.
"Gimme!" said Morty, making a lunge.
Mixy snatched the paper away. "Ah, ah, ah! What's it worth to you?"
"Anything."
"Like cleaning the food trap in the dishwasher?"
Morty's stomach soured just thinking about it. "The one we haven't cleaned in two years?"
"The one and only."
"Is it a real Rick's real number? And d-don't lie."
"It really is. Last night this guy came to the bar, and..."
The previous night...
"He was such a cute li’l shit, look," Rick slurred, waving the wallet-sized photo in the bartender's face. In it, a 6 year old Morty smiled expansively at the camera, his face smeared with blue from his melting popsicle.
"Uh huh." The bartender spared the picture a glance, which Rick appreciated. He was already planning to tip big because the 'tender was a Morty—probably exploited, poor thing—but he mentally added to the total for the kind gesture. "Tell him I said cute pic."
"He's dead." Rick's melancholy was mellowed by the haze of alcohol.
"Geez. I'm sorry. Another?" The bartender held up the bottle of run he'd been serving Rick from.
Rick nodded and nudged his empty glass towards the boy, who mixed him a new rum and coke. "I never got to meet him in person. He was 8. Car accident."
"That sucks."
"I just want my very own Morty to love." Rick gazed despondently at the photo before putting it away.
"Aren't there tons of Mortys up for adoption?"
"The agencies, uh..." Embarrassed, Rick bought himself a moment by taking a drink. "They all rejected me. Too ‘enthusiastic.’"
"How about catching one?"
"I couldn't do that to a sweet little Morty! Those manipulator chips are barbaric.” He sighed. "I would never hurt a Morty. I just want to hold one close and count his tiny fingers and smell his hair..."
"You're a real Super Fan, aren't you?"
"I'm the number one Morty fan of all time," Rick agreed
"So, actually, I kind of know a guy you m-might like."
"A Morty?" Rick couldn't hide his excitement.
"Yeah. He's really into Ricks. I can give him your number if—“
Rick was already scribbling it down on his receipt.
And now back to the present...
Morty was shaking in his shoes, pacing while the phone rang. What if Rick didn't answer? What if he didn't want to go out? So many things could go wrong. Maybe he should just hang—
''Hello?" a Rickish voice said, flattened a bit by the phone line.
"Rick?"
"Morty?"
"Is this the Rick who wants to go on a date with Mixy's—th-th-the bartender's roommate?''
"You’re the bartender's roommate?"
"Yeah. I'm..." Morty's mouth felt so dry. "I’m F-68—“
"Can I just call you Morty?"
Morty's smile was so big it made his cheeks hurt. "Yeah! I mean y-yeah. I'd like that. What's your—“
"I'd like it if you just call me Rick, too."
"I'd really like that."
"I know it's super fast, but..." Rick took a shaky breath. "Are you doing anything tomorrow?”
"Nope! I-I'm all free," said Morty, now planning to tell his manager he was sick. This was far more important.
''The Gaflorpian cherry trees are blooming. We could have a picnic.”
"I'll pack it! I-I'm a good cook," said Morty, though he had never really tried before. How hard could it be?
"We could meet at the 12th Residential District City Park at noon.”
"Sounds great, Rick."
"Yeah. Sounds great." Morty could hear the sappy smile in Rick's voice.
Cooking went very, very poorly, so Morty waited the next day at the park gate with a backpack stuffed with cheese, fruit, and crackers instead. He was wearing his new Rick-hair hat despite Mixy's efforts to make him leave it behind. It was only ll:41, but he was already crying from the stress, fearing that he would be stood up.
Then a special Rick rounded the corner, headed for the park. He was wearing a homemade felt hat shaped like a Morty's hair, As soon as they saw each other, something sparked between them. The air was electric, fizzing like champagne with barely contained energy as they made introductions. But they were both shy and relatively quiet on their way to a private spot beneath the trees.
Petals fell like rosy snow every time the wind shifted. They made bashful small talk and nibbled the charcuterie (it turned out that Morty wasn't a fan of most of the fancy cheeses, but he pretended anyway), both blushing and giggly. Soon their shoulders began to relax and their words flowed more smoothly.
"Ok, ok. Me next. favorite." color. One, two, three—“
Both answered at the same time.
"Blue!" shouted Morty.
"Yellow!" shouted Rick.
Morty fell into a fit of giggles. "We should both start liking green, then." His eyes flicked up to Rick's. The warmth he saw there gave him palpitations.
"We could live in a little green house," said Rick, though then he seemed to catch himself. "I mean if we—“
"We should!" Morty put his fingers to his lips. "I-I mean..."
Rick reached out, silent, taking Morty's hand tenderly. Morty's eyes welled with tears. This felt like a dream come true. He gazed longingly at Rick, hoping against hope.
"If you let me love you, I'll love you forever," said Rick. Morty could hear a tremble in his voice.
''Oh, Rick..."
"I feel like I've waited for you for so long. I..."
"Me, too. I love you already." Morty moved forward on his knees, and Rick held him close. "Will you be m-my Rick?"
"Of course I will, Morty. And I’ll protect you, I’ll make you smile. I'll be so good to you, Morty. And we'll run around all over the place doing Rick and Morty things, just every day, Rick and Morty stuff. Forever and ever, Rick and Morty, in the green house Rick and—“
Morty couldn't wait any longer. He threw his arms around Rick and crashed their mouths together in an inelegant kiss. Rick pushed his hat off to tangle his fingers in Morty's curls, pulling him in to deepen the kiss. Rick's tongue was so nice against his own, warm and strong and assertive. Morty let himself be kissed, let himself be lowered to the grass on his back. Rick's strong body held him down. Morty's nerves stood on end, and when Rick asked his permission to touch him all he had to say was yes, yes, yes!
Two months later, after the honeymoon, Rick and Morty sat together in a slowly cooling bath in their little green house. Rick's magical fingers were kneading the ache out of Morty's back. They had never been so happy before, neither of them.
"My Morty," Rick sighed, as he sometimes did. It was like he couldn't believe how lucky he was.
"You make me feel s-so special."
"You are special." Rick kissed the tip of his ear. "You're my Morty. The best Morty."
"My Rick. The best Rick." Morty craned around to catch Rick’s lips. They kissed, lingering, heat beginning to build.
"'You’re all..." Rick whispered.
"…I've ever wanted," Morty finished.

Gems are still seen and considered as females on Homeworld. However, gems on Earth began to take on more masculine forms and use masculine pronouns to describe themselves. They've found it more comfortable than the forms that they originally had. Others, if they feel comfortable with neither, will use more neutral pronouns to describe themselves.

What you said about Steven universe really brought something back up with me
Steven universe had an owl house situation, they on the other hand didnt get to explain the story the way they wanted to,they didn’t get a compromise
Man’s when Cartoon Network promised Rebecca a movie honestly hade it worse
I loved the movie don’t get me wrong it was great but the show wasn’t handles right even though it was and had the potential to be an amazingly fleshed out show
It is true that Steven Universe and The Owl House had to deal with network restrictions, but here's the thing, Dana Terrace and her team gave it their all when it came to telling the story that they wanted to tell, SU on the other hand couldn't decide if it wanted to be a wacky slice of life show, or a character driven story that focused on Steven and his psychological trauma.
Like I said before, trying to do an honest to goodness rewatch of this series is gonna be a frustrating experience, because one minute you're going to be watching a pretty good episode with decent world building, and in the next you're watching the writers try their hardest to make you give a shit about Ronaldo.
It's like that Marvin The Cowardly Security Guard bit in the Self-Referential Six episode of Rick and Morty. Where for some reason, this random side character who contributes nothing to the main story arc gets an entire spotlight episode.
As for the movie, it kinda magnifies the show's worst qualities when it comes to the writing.
The entire town is being poisoned by this giant drill, do we see the town's residents band together to try to save their town from being destroyed? Nope!
What about Lars, surely he'd help Steven right? He only gets a cameo.
The OG Crystal Gems are reset, does that mean Peridot, Bismuth, and Lapis are finally going to be given the opportunity to shine as a team? Nope!
They get a musical number, help Ruby and Sapphire fuse, and deal with the drill off screen.
I could go on, but you get the point.
Spinel was the best thing about that movie.
