After I spent my 2021 in counseling after getting depression and PTSD after being involved with the writing part of your fandom ( and no I'm not "joking"), I decided to not come back.

I used to have a small blog named agentalpha, for gifs and pics of Pedro Pascal but needed to close it down because some people from the community and their entitlement to my work.

Then I decided to share a fic no one cared about which was great mistake.

Just as that compliment I made to a writer that their writing is great . I should have stayed silent reader.

At the end I was dumped because some other person behaving like 12 years old.

And as it is too late for it already I need to clear some things up before I do because the way people acted was anything but mature and I paid the price of your behaviour.

ANYWAYS, HERE SOME THINGS I WANT MAKE CLEAR ABOUT ME, after NO ONE had the common courtesy to behave like an adult.

1. I DON'T do HATE / OFFENSE

AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY I DON'T .

I write fiction since 2007.

I HAVE DEALT WITH HATERS.

I WON'T DO THAT TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING.

I'm also too old for petty dramas and doing childish stuff like that.

THAT IS WHAT I SEND to one of your....POPULAR AUTHORS. Yes, I always do screenshot my asks in case some one decides to be...."offended" or something.

SEE ANYTHING OFFENSIVE?

NO.BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING OFFENSIVE HERE.

Nevertheless my ex-favorite author DUMPED ME BECAUSE OF THIS BECAUSE THAT PERSON is their bestie or whatever their motives were.

I DIDN'T DESERVED ANY OF THIS HOWEVER.

Because all I gave them was support on their writing.

Well....Didn't mattered much apparently. Because I 'm not popular. And that seems to be all that matters to them.

2. I NEVER interact with fiction that is not to my taste. In no way.

I keep to myself and I only interact with fics I like.

That's about it.

Here some more:

PERSONAL BOUDARIES STATED POLITELY AREN'T OFFENSE

I COULD SLIP INTO ANXIETY ATTACK If I interact with certain contents. And I definitely love my ability to be able to breath.

I could read almost everything except things that contain some forms of abusive behaviour (including consent stuff).

I DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS WITH PEOPLE PERSONAL LIKES - kinks, and personal preferences included.

No matter how exotic they might be. I have my own likes, that might not be to someone else's taste.

And I'm NO double faced a$$. Would you kindly not make me one.

What people like is none of my business. It's not my business what they write on their blogs either.

Unless they think that they are better than everyone else, and have more rights than the others.

So would you kindly, before listening to gossips or whatever about someone else, FIRST go CHECK FOR YOURSELF WHAT IT IS, ASK THE PERSON YOURSELF WHAT'S GOING ON AND MAKE CONCLUSION BASED ON THEIR ANSWER.

That's the right thing to do.

And NOT DUMPING AND ABANDONING PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT YOU AND LIKE YOU AND YOUR CONTENT, BASED ON MISUNDERSTANDING, INCOMPLETE DATA AND ( MAY BE) BAD MOUTHING BY ANOTHER.

( Tip: The popularity of one person, should not be your correct criteria to take action against someone else who is not.)

And before you read any of the posts here, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING MORE ABOUT ME.

Things I don't mention, usually, but now I need to, because no one cares about common courtesy, mutual respect and other's people limitations:

I have social anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria ( google it)

I get sensory overload by too much online interaction and data and especially in large online groups

I have hard time reaching to others even for friendships - online and otherwise - and after all that....well you can guess for yourself.

That's me being done. After I say what I have to I will be on my way.

first you have to remember that the first disco ball was painstakingly put together by hand from nothing but an idea and lots of intricately cut glass and bandaids and then you have to think about the experience of being under a disco ball for the very first time, bathed in reflections of an era that has not yet come to past, and finally you end up wondering what else there is around you that has yet to be unearthed by something with so much as a silly name

been seeing homies get deep into "the terror" and making me want to rewatch SO i spent two hours in the dead of night reading the wiki/the subreddit/other linked articles and like. one of those articles was deadass fucked up

there was a woman who spoke inuktitut who was writing a book containing a lot of inuit oral histories, and in nunavut she was able to hear passed-down recollections of when survivors from the franklin expedition were passing through

and like. i can't imagine being an inuit family/group, knowing that europeans exist but having never seen them, seeing 8-9 shambling, blue-skinned, cold-to-the-touch out-of-their-minds white men come wandering by. they invited the men inside their igloos for warmth, for food, to be hospitable. the men refused to eat, refused to speak, and when trade was offered, clutched their possessions close and refused to entertain the idea of trade. this was, offputting, to say the least. the group set them up in their own igloo, with their own fire, and left three whole seals for them to eat. and then they fled cause what the FUCK get out of there. they came back in a few days to check on the strangers. the three seals were completely untouched, while all of the men had killed and eaten each other

i mean. fuck dude. there are obviously pretty dark angles to view the franklin expedition from– honestly can't think of a good angle, it's pure colonialism and british exceptionalism– but that specific interaction, that inuit group who were living lives as normal until a dozen fucking walking dead showed up and did cannibalism. no wonder that story got passed down, i'd be shitting my pants if i saw that

- i kinda like that she ended up looking like a mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware!

- oh this was a subconscious choice, but Gale is sitting in seiza which is a posture for showing respect especially to elders. it's also known to be a painful position to sit in for extended periods of time, which is why it was sometimes used as a method of (morally dubious) punishment. however, experienced people can maintain this posture for much longer. food for thought :-)

- (edit: deleted this point bcs it didn't really make sense + detracted from the art a little;;)

i know it’s like years old at this point but i love that one collab mumbo and grian did with tommyinnit bc it’s like the single most concentrated example i’ve seen of mumbo’s Chaos Nullification Powers

you get to see a bit of it on hermitcraft, mostly via his interactions with grian, but until seeing that collab it didn’t really hit me just how completely mumbo can no-sell other people’s attempts to control a situation. tommyinnit is possibly the single shoutiest, most chaotic minecraft youtuber out there, and in most videos i’ve seen he pretty much overwhelms everyone else and sets the tone for interactions because of this. but mumbo just. doesn’t let him. no matter how much tommy escalates in intensity, mumbo reacts with *exactly* the same energy he always does. grian largely comes across in the whole video as annoyed and reluctant to engage with the whole thing, but mumbo’s not even affected. he just rolls with anything he finds funny and basically ignores anything he disapproves of, only seeming more and more unflappable the harder anyone tries to get a rise out of him.

AND imo, this is the key to my favorite interpretation of him as a character

see, when the people around him are being more reasonable/calm, i think mumbo often comes across as anxious and a bit easily overwhelmed. the thing is, his nervous wet cat vibes do not scale. he has one setting. his responses to the last life ‘ah-ha!’ jokes and to hermitcraft 8 starting to crumble to pieces under a falling moon are almost identical.

mumbo jumbo is inexorably and eternally Just Some Guy, but that gets stranger and stranger the weirder his surroundings become. the giggly incredulousness that makes him an easy target for goofy puns looks Very different when it’s also his reaction to the impending end of the world.

#anyway yeah i have this whole idea in my head about mumbo’s friendship with grian from a characterization standpoint #bc i agree with the somewhat? common consensus that being friends with mumbo has made grian softer and friendlier over time #but i don’t think it was in a ‘reflecting back the kindness he’s being shown’ way #i think it’s because the more harsh and chaotic you try to be towards mumbo the more you feel ineffectual and out of control #and grian can’t handle it so he slowly becomes nicer until he feels like they’re on equal footing again #like don’t get me wrong i think they genuinely are good friends #and i don’t think this is necessarily something mumbo is doing on purpose #but i think the power dynamic going on under the surface is much more bizarre and weighted in mumbo’s favor than it seems at first glance #mumbling
