((UPDATED ART FOR UMBRAN! I didn’t do much in the way of changes to his design, mostly to his abdomen area and a new design for his helmet.

In-character, he approached @machinesandman‘s Shaska to help design and make a new helmet for him, as he’d been flatly refusing to wear his old one anymore (he has his reasons).

Very pleased with how this turned out x3

Another thing I need from this fandom is an assassination attempt fic. But like one where the target is Ice because he has just been promoted and he's going to come out as gay and the other admirals can't allow that.

So basically they send out somebody to kill him but it's a deadly miss because the sniper falls in love with him (army!Mav) and when they send another one to kill Ice and Mav it's open hunting season because now Mav is going to protect Ice until his last breath.

Both men swivel in their seats to look at him properly. “The fuck is that meant to mean?” Ron accuses.

Maverick pinches the bridge of his nose, pushing air out through his teeth. “Nothing. I don’t know. Forget I said anything, just let me get out.”

This wasn't what he expected when he came home for shore leave, he didn't expect to find out his Wife for 5 years was in fact a hired mercenary. Or that fact he watched her kill someone in their living room.

"Robert" she strained through her grounded teeth as she pulled back on the curtain chocking the man, "I need you to get me something" she grunted as the man thrusted her back into the wall as a attempt to get her off. "Upstairs in the bedside table there's a Glock .45" she told him, he looked at her wide eyed "a glot?" he exclaimed.

"a gun! go get it!" she yelled at him, he dropped his bag and raced upstairs pulling the bedside table draw out carefully holding the gun by its handle and raced back down to his wife.

"Robert! i kind of need you to hurry!"

She was laying on the ground holding a chock hole on the struggling man, he stumbled down the steps "I'm here I'm here" he ensured.

"Okay, good job darling, now I need you to point it at him and shoot him in the face", "What!" he exclaimed.

the man weathered and tried to argue that his wife was insane, "Just shoot him please!", "okay okay!" he holds the gun up closing his eyes and pulled the trigger opening them in shock when he heard the scream.

Blood poured out of the man's shoulder and his wife used the distraction to smash his head against the coffee table and make the man unconscious.

Dropped the unconscious man and took a heaving breath she looked at him in disbelief "did you just close your eyes?!"
