Since I have been talking about quite a lot of Barbie, here are my 3 dolls of the early barbie movies. I do have Barbie from the Barbie movie as well but she doesn't fit well with these fantasy dolls. I literally almost cried when I thought I had lost the accessories for Odette and Clara, I was overjoyed when I found them again.

I can still remember having a poster of Clara of Barbie and the nutcracker across my bed. I really love her. She has been through a lot and I kinda want to give her a spa day to restyle her hair. Clara has the blue eyes and I was so surprised finding out that not all the dolls have the same eye colour.

Odette is one of the most beautiful Barbies in my opinion. I also played with her a lot hence the wild hair. She deserves a spa day as well. Her dress is just magical.

I got Elina when I kinda stopped playing with Barbies and she looks gorgeous. She can't hold Bibble but Clara can.

Bonus:

Odette in the thrifted magic of Pegasus dress. I can't believe how much fabric there is in this skirt.

The Barbie movie reminded me about how when I was little my parents were upset that I kept making my Barbie dolls kiss, so they bought me a Ken doll. The next day they found me having a funeral for poor Ken in the garden, he had died of tuberculosis. All the Barbies were in attendance and I buried him under our rose bush. The Barbies were too poor to afford a headstone (it was 1875) so I didn’t mark where the grave was and I never could find him again. He’s probably still there.

the barbenheimer experience i had was so funny i saw oppenheimer first and in a quiet scene we could literally hear ken singing in the theater next to us and then during barbie it when was quiet we could hear a fucking explosion coming from the oppenheimer screening
