The End of the Rope
Words: 1,054
Characters: Kate & [JD]
Genre: death
Situation: Kate’s death scene
Content warnings: death/suicide
It had been about five years since the day that Kate and JD's divorce went through. She looked around her empty house with a sad smile, feeling just how alone she was.
Sure, things had improved since they got divorce, as far as their relationship went. She almost ruined it when she told him about how she'd been in love with Tomo-oh, Tomo. She grabbed a photo that had been taken of the two women when they were younger with tears in her eyes. They looked so happy, both so oblivious to the way Kate truly felt about the other woman.
She heaved a sigh and looked down at her hands. She had completely ruined her life. She was completely isolated from everybody, including her family... everybody, that is, except JD. But even so, every time she was around him, it served as a reminder to the love that she lost.
She suddenly flashed back to the day that her relationship with Sam was repaired... for such a short amount of time. Now he didn't even talk to her.
Kate spent her whole life trying to prove to everyone, prove to herself, that she was strong. That she could make it through anything with her head held high... but never in her life had she felt so weak.
She suddenly remembered the kids' third birthday - the first birthday when she'd homemade them a fancy birthday cake. She made them cakes every year to make up for the fact that they didn't have their father in their lives. No matter how much effort she put into their cakes, she felt inadequate. She shivered, the feelings of the past washing over her like waves from the ocean. She couldn't get the past out of her head.
And now she sat alone in a dark house, staring at old photos from the past. Tomo would be so upset with her if she saw how she'd turned out. She'd likely be upset if she learned why Kate had quit talking to her too, but ever since she learned that her feelings for Tomo were likely a big cause of her divorce... she couldn't face her old friend.
She lay on her couch, face pressed into the cushions, trying to pretend she didn't feel utterly alone. She had spent so long trying to push everyone away, she never imagined how lonely it would be if she actually succeeded. Now that she had... she couldn't think of a time in her life when she felt worse... or more like a piece of shit.
Finally she sat on her couch, staring at a knife, just turning it over in her hands. JD would be there soon to pick her up for a birthday celebration. She hated to do this to him after everything she’s done… but she didn’t really feel like she had a choice. Nobody else cared. Well, Tomo probably did but other than her best friend, who she pushed away… she shook her head. No, she wouldn’t go there. Instead, she went to her desk and wrote a letter for her ex-husband.
Dear JD, I’m so sorry. I hate that I’m doing this to you. I suspect you will be the one that finds me since we are about to hang out soon, but I’m so sorry. I can’t do this anymore. I have ruined my life, pushed away my whole family. I almost lost you on multiple occasions, but now I’m freeing you of me. I’m sorry that you had to deal with me for so long but now you don’t have to anymore.
I hate that I hurt our children. I’d say that I’m sorry to do it again, but let’s face the facts. They probably won’t care when - if they hear about this. I mean, I pushed them all away to the point where they never talk to me, don’t even call me on my birthday.
I have been contemplating doing this for a while. It makes sense to me to do it on my birthday. It’s the day you’re supposed to be the happiest, to be celebrating your life, but I have never in my life felt so alone, so hated and so sorry for myself. I hate being in my own skin and I hope you understand.
I hope you just move on from this. I honestly have no idea how you’ll respond when you find my body. It’s been so long since we’ve been married, but at the same time, we became such good friends with time. You are the person I think about the most now. Not only my mistakes with you, but the way that you make me feel so special. If it wasn’t for you and our friendship we’ve built, I would have done this a long time ago. Probably the day we divorced, even.
I’m sorry for the way that I ruined our lives together. I’m sorry for the way that I made everything… bad. I’m sorry for the way that I pushed you away. I’m sorry. I will never be able to express to you how much you mean to me, especially in the last few years, but I hope that you’ll know, in spite what I’m doing… that I love you so much and I regret losing you. I regret hurting you. I regret pushing you away. I regret it all. More than that, though, I love you.
And with that, I’ll end this. Please tell the kids I love them and I’m sorry. For everything. For hurting them so many times and for never being a good mother to them. I’m so sorry.
Please tell Tomo… that I’m sorry I disappeared then killed myself but I feel I have no other choice. I’m so sorry. I love you. With All the Love in My Heart, Kate Bovington
Kate reread the message a few times as her hands trembled. Tears sprung to her eyes as she closed them and held the message to her heart… and she grabbed the knife again, pressing it to her throat. She shook like a leaf, then quickly slit her throat, staring straight ahead blankly while she slowly bled out.
The last thing she heard was someone walking into the house, and JD’s panicked voice calling her name.
And everything went black.

Marcus Finds a Home
Words: 2,195
Characters: Marcus, Kate and [JD]
Genre: slice of life/early adulthood
Situation: Marcus is finally an adult and he has decided that he wants to move... in this story, you will see that au Marcus is way more lucky than ou Marc was. Enjoy!
Marcus lay on his back, staring up at the ceiling with a blank expression across his face. A light knock came to the door.
“Come in,” he called, reaching under his bed for his football, which he tossed up in the air and caught repeatedly. The door opened and a face peeked inside.
“Hey, son,” his mother’s voice said lightly as she stepped inside and closed the door behind her. Marcus glanced over and gave Kate a little smile.
“Hey, mom,” he greeted back, going back to staring up at the ceiling while tossing the ball up in the air.
“What are you doing in here? I haven’t seen you all day,” she asked, stepping further into the room but not moving any further, just standing there for a moment, watching her son.
“Contemplating… things,” he said simply, continuing to toss the ball up and catch it. Kate lifted an eyebrow at her son.
“May I it?” She asked carefully, indicating the edge of his bed.
“Sure.” She watched him a moment longer before moving to sit on the edge of his bed. After a few minutes of silence, she cleared her throat.
“What are you thinking about?” She asked curiously, studying his face. He caught his ball one last time and sat up to look at her.
“I’m uh…” He held the ball pressed into his ribs as he studied her face quietly for a minute before continuing, “I’m thinking about… moving out soon.” Her eyes registered shock as she stared at him for a minute.
“Do you… have the funds to move out?” She asked in surprise.
“I’ve been saving,” he said simply. She watched him a minute longer before asking, “Do you make enough to keep up with payments? You’re not gonna have to spend all of your savings, are you?” Her lip twitched slightly. She had kind of hoped the kids would be living with them for a while longer before they decided to get their own place. She forced a smile on her face.
“I do,” he said simply, glancing at her with curiosity in his eyes. Her lip twitched slightly but she just nodded her head.
“Alright, son. If it’ll make you happy-”
“Mom, I’m an adult now. I need to learn to live on my own.” She smiled sadly.
“I know, son… I was just hoping… that you’d be here a little longer.” He rolled his eyes good-naturedly.
“Most parents can’t wait for their children to move out,” he pointed out, smiling in amusement. She shrugged her shoulders with a little smile of her own.
“Guess I’m not most parents,”she said lightly. “And you’re not most sons. I was blessed to have children like the three of you.” He rolled his eyes again, nudging her with his elbow.
“Relax, mom. I’ve still gotta find a place, after all. I’m not settling with just any place for my first place on my own.” Kate smiled with relief and reached to stroke his hair.
“You know how much your father and I love you, right, son?” She asked softly. He glanced at her with a little smile.
“You remind me all the time… how could I forget?” He said simply and went back to tossing his ball in the air. She watched him for a moment longer.
“What is the most important to you in your new home?” She asked curiously.
“I need space and a good kitchen,” he told her. She looked a little surprised at that. She knew he loved to cook ever since her parents taught him to make Chinese food but… she was surprised that it was so important to him to have a spacious kitchen.
“Island or no island?” She asked.
“I don’t really care either way so long as there’s plenty of counter space.” She nodded her understanding.
“I can help you find a place,” she told him.
“That’s okay. I’m gonna just hire a realtor.” She looked surprised.
“You’re looking for a house?”
“Yeah… I want to rent a house. There’s no way I’m moving to an apartment.” She looked confused for a minute.
“You… work as a coach at a high school,” she said slowly, curious how he possibly thought he had enough money to pay for an actual house. He shrugged his shoulders, looking away from her face and tossing the ball in the air again. “... son… don’t get your hopes up. You may have to move into an apartment for a while if you’re serious about moving out now.” He gave her one quick glance, tossing the ball again, then looked back at his ball. She watched him a minute later before standing.
“Alright, sweetie. I’ll keep an eye out for some homes for you,” she told him.
“Mom-” he started to protest, but she put a hand up. “Just in case,” she told him with a little smile. He sighed and shook his head.
“Alright, alright. Thanks.” She bent down to kiss the top of his head.
“Anything for you,” she said lightly. Then, as an afterthought, she asked, “Is there any specific area you wish to move to?” He thought about it for a minute.
“Yeah. Uh, I want to move closer to the school I went to for high school.” She looked surprised but nodded her head.
“Okay, baby boy. I’ll go now. See you later.” He smiled at her and watched as she left.
---
For the next few months, Marcus slowly packed up his room. Mostly just the stuff he didn’t use all the time, that way he got ahead of packing and didn’t have to do it all at once in a big rush. Kate would watch him pack some days with a sad expression, obviously a little upset that he was moving so soon but he always reassured her that he’d live closeby and that he would visit.
Finally, the day came when his realtor found a place that was perfect for him. He grinned as he came up to his parents.
Wanna see this place with me?” He asked them. They were just sitting on the couch - Kate was reading and JD was watching tv. They glanced up at their son, surprised that he wanted them to come along. All this time that he was searching for a house, he never asked them to join him.
Kate stood first. She was beaming.
“Is it in your price range?” She asked. Marcus rolled his eyes.
“I think so. I don’t know why my realtor would show me if it wasn’t.” She smiled a little.
“You’d be surprised, son,” JD told him, also getting to his feet.
“Are you guys coming or not? Because I’m leaving right now.” His parents glanced at each other then at him with a nod.
The place… was even more perfect than his realtor made it seem. It wasn’t too big. After all, he planned to live on his own. It was 2 bedrooms, just as he had requested, so that he could have his siblings over for the night if they got drunk together or something. The kitchen was so spacious and had a granite island in the middle. And the best part? It was less than his budget. It was almost too good to be true.
“Is there a washer and dryer or is he going to have to come to our place for laundry?” Kate asked as they walked through the house. Marc’s realtor smiled knowingly as they came upon a door.
“It’s funny that you ask that now, because the laundry room is right here.” She paused by the door, glancing between the father, son and mother before slowly swinging it open for them to gaze inside. It was so beautiful inside, much better than any of them expected from a house this cheap.
Kate glanced at the realtor with narrowed eyes.
“This place is perfect,” she stated flatly. Marc glanced at his mother as if to ask what are you doing? But she paid him no mind.
“What’s wrong with it?” She asked bluntly. The realtor looked confused.
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“This person is renting a house this nice and spacious for this cheap? There’s got to be something fundamentally wrong with it. What is it?” The realtor smiled at the question and guided the family to the next room.
“I know… it seems too good to be true… but I’m telling you now. There is nothing wrong with it. And if anything breaks down, the owner of the house has already said they would hire someone to fix it. Your son is very lucky to be looking for a house right now, because I guarantee you this house will be snatched up in a second if he doesn’t take it.” Kate and JD exchanged a look but Marc was already sold.
“I want it,” he said immediately. Kate quickly looked at him, ready to protest but he put a hand up. “This place is perfect. And if I do find something wrong, it’ll be taken care of.”
“Okay, but why is this place so cheap?” JD asked, turning to the realtor. “Like Kate said, it just seems… too good to be true.” The realtor smiled at him warmly.
“JD, right?” He nodded. “Sir, it’s cheap because the person that owns this house is already rich. They have another place across the country they are staying at and they just wanted to rent out their current home for a little… as they call it, pocket money.” Kate and JD shared another look as Marc stared around the house. They were in the dining room now and it was beautiful.
“Does it come with the furnishings?” Kate asked, looking around at all the beautiful furniture.
“Yes, it does,” the realtor confirmed. “Perhaps the only setback to taking his place is the fact that the owner wants nothing changed. You can hang up posters or do things of that sort, but they don’t want any of the furniture messed with.” Marcus looked around the room quietly for a minute.
“Honestly, his or her taste is… really, really good. I love the way they decorated,” he said, glancing back at the realtor. “I want to take this place,” he said again. Kate and JD grabbed each other’s hands and looked at the realtor, waiting for her response. She broke out into a grin.
“I’ll get ahold of the owner and let him know you’re interested in renting. We’ll see if we can come to some sort of agreement-”
“I’m fine paying what they want for it,” he said immediately. “Just tell him I’ll take it.” She looked a little surprised but nodded her head.
“Okay, I’ll let him know.” She paused. “Would you like to see the yard?” He nodded his head and she led them all out back.
“Will Marc have to mow?” JD asked as they glanced out at the massive yard out back.
“No, he’s hiring a gardener too. He will literally have to do nothing but pick up after himself.” JD glanced at his son, wondering what was going through his head but as soon as he saw his expression, he knew just how much he wanted this place.
“I want this place,” Marcus repeated again. He looked eager as he glanced around at the house.
“Is there a policy on pets?” He asked suddenly. Kate and JD were a little surprised by the question. He had never shown an interest in having any pets before, even as a kid. When most children would be begging their parents for pets, he was just off, playing ball in the backyard.
“You want a pet?” Kate asked, touching Marc’s arm gently. He nodded.
“I’m thinking like a lab… a bigger dog I can play catch with.” That surprised them a little less.
“He’s okay with pets as long as they’re house trained and don’t ruin his house,” the realtor told him. He nodded.
“Yeah, let him know I’ll take it.” The realtor smiled and nodded.
“Do you have any other quesitons first?”
“No. I’m sure I’ll figure anything else out… as it comes,” he told her and turned to his parents. “Let’s go get some gelato.” They smiled.
“Thank you for showing us around,” Kate said, grabbing her son’s arm to lead him back into the house.
“Yes, thank you very much,” JD agreed as he and the realtor followed his family. She smiled.
“It’s my pleasure. I live for moments like these where I find the perfect home for my clients.” She smiled at their backs as they led the way through the house, to the front door. “I’ll let you know when he’s gotten ahold of me,” she told Marcus as he stepped outside.
“Thank you,” He said with a smile. She smiled back.
“It’s my pleasure.”
It was a week later that she called and congratulated him on officially renting his own home. The owner wanted first and last month’s rent and a small downpayment. If he wanted a lab, he wanted an extra $70 a month. And that was that. Marcus was officially a home renter.
Happy day.

Reaped
Words: 641
Characters: Kate & Ikuisuus
Genre: death/afterlife
Situation: Ikuisuus reaps Kate
Conetent warnings: a little mention of Kate’s death/suicide, so tread carefully
Kate was looking around in confusion. How had she lived through that? The last thing she remembered was slitting her own throat and the feeling of blood pooling in her lap. And the sound of JD’s panicked voice calling her name. It was soothing, hearing how much he cared in the end, though she couldn’t figure out where she was now. Was that really her end or had she lived through it? What kind of hospital was this?
“Hello?” She called, walking around in the room. A ragged black cat ran up to her and started rubbing between her legs.
“What kind of hospital has cats?” She asked, stooping down to pet it. It was really awkward petting the cat, considering it had patches of fur missing and gashes all along its body.
“What kinds of cat fights have you been getting into?” She mused, picking the cat up and rocking with it in her arms. “Can you tell me where I am?”
“He doesn’t talk, but I do,” the voice of a little girl spoke. Kate whipped around and the cat jumped out of her arms as they fell to her sides in surprise.
“Hello, little girl, are you lost?”
“No, but you seem to be. Miss... sorry, Ms. Kate Bovington.” The last name stung. Why hadn’t she changed it? Honestly, because she couldn’t bring herself to. She knew that she had a friendship with JD yet keeping his last name felt like the only way to stay somehow connected to him.
“How do you know my name?” Kate snapped, eyes narrowing at the little girl. “Are you about to kill me? Because I already tried that and-”
“I’m the grim reaper.” Kate studied the girl’s overalls and smoky hair that was up in pigtails. She looked so young. How could she…?
“That’s impossible,” Kate said matter-of-factly. “You’re too young. And… female.”
“You know, for growing up in the 21st century, you sure have an old-fashioned point of view. Whatever happened to telling girls they could be whatever they wanted?” The girl mocked, eyes glinting at the woman.
“But… a grim reaper? That’s what you wanted to be?” Kate asked, blinking twice in surprise.
“Well, no but-”
“Then your point is null and void.” The girl huffed and primped up her pigtails.
“Do you want to know what’s happening to you or not?”
“I do,” Kate said easily. “Am I going to hell?”
“That’s what the goddess wanted-”
“Wait… our god is female too?” Kate asked, just… really confused about everything.
“Yes, keep up. Anyway, she wanted to send you to hell, but I say she didn’t watch your whole life. She doesn’t know how hard you tried. Yes, on paper you look like a terrible person. Awfully selfish and rude… but I don’t want to send you to hell. So I’m going to reincarnate you.” Kate lifted her eyebrows in surprise.
“You can do that?” She asked. To this, the little girl laughed.
“I’m a reaper. Of course I can. That said, I think I’m going to make you an animal this time. Maybe a pet.” She gave a little slick smile as she glanced at a globe and touched it lightly. “Mmm, yes, I have the perfect idea.” She smiled and touched Kate’s shoulder.
“You will make a wonderful pet and will live a much less stressful life.” She started leading the way across the room to a door. “Just go through the door and you will be reborn. Goodbye, Kate Bovington. Enjoy your new life.” And with that, Kate stepped into the door and the room disappeared and was replaced by a familiar face… but she couldn’t quite place it as he stared down at her.
“I want that one when she’s old enough to be taken from her mother,” the man said, pointing right at her.

41 for the Bovington family and for Kyle's family!
Thank you for the ask, anon! :D
41. Does your character’s family affect your character in any way?
Okay, so I’ll do Kyle’s family first. Kyle’s family consists of Elise, Sam 2.0, Jarred and Kyle. As Jarred isn’t my character, I won’t be answering for him (though I can ask his maker to see what she has to say if you’d like).
Anyway, so for Elise, it has definitely affected her. The love and affection that her fathers have shown have turned her into the most loving & compassionate person you’d ever meet. She is sweet and will show total strangers more love than their own friends & family ever showed them. I’d also say watching Kyle struggle with social situations (unless it’s with Jare & Vic) has caused her to be more outgoing than she otherwise would have been.
Kyle’s husband and daughter and son turned him from cold-hearted and basically silent to a little more chatty and loving and he’s warmer… with people that he cares about (and kids).
Sam 2.0 is actually not my character either but I can say with certainty that growing up with Kyle & Jare changed him a lot from growing up with his biological family (the Bovingtons).
Now for the Bovingtons.
They have all changed quiiiite a bit due to growing up with their family.
Jasmine is a lot more sexual for attention and to feel loved. She grew up with brothers that she basically doesn’t get along with and a mother who was… mentally absent as the kids grew up, and even after her father finally got out of prison, she felt virtually ignored because she didn’t get quite the type of attention from her father that she wanted.
Marcus is sooo much different with his family in the ou. He was okay when his father was out of the picture, but as soon as JD came home (and JD and Kate started arguing all of the time), he… basically just… depression became a huge part of his life, and he started self-harming and escaping from his house a lot more. He started to go to parties more to get closer to kids his age because they didn’t make him feel as hopeless as he felt at home.
As for Kate… that answer’s a little complicated. She didn’t used to be so angry until JD killed the man she cheated on him with after the kids turned 2. She became very depressed, but her depression came out in anger, as did her mania, so she would basically be angry all the time because she didn’t realize she had bipolar at the time, and refused to go get diagnosed for any possible mental problem until the kids were grown.
I was going to do the Bovingtons in the AU, but this post is already pretty long, so I think I’ll just keep it here. (: thanks again for the ask. I love thinking about the ways that my characters’ pasts and families have affected their thought patterns and behaviors.
Send me a number from this post and I’ll reply about one of my OCs. Name a specific OC if you want to know about a certain character.
Send the ask to this link.

Jasmine’s Pining
Words: 916
Characters: Jasmine Bovington (AU)
Genre: angst
Situation: Jasmine met, who she believed to be the love of her life. 8 years pass of not hearing from him, but she just can’t seem to let him go...
Jasmine stared blankly at her plane ticket as she arrived back in New York. Kate and JD were waving at her, ready to bring her back home with them, both smiling happily.
“How was the trip?” Her father asked, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as he pulled her toward the door to leave the airport. She sighed, eyes glazed over for a moment as Travis’ handsome face flashed across her mind.
“It was dreamy,” she said absently, not even realizing what she said til she noticed her parents exchanging a look.
“Met a boy then?” Kate asked amusedly, cocking her eyebrows at her daughter. This made Jasmine blush as she turned her face away.
“No…” she said absently, daydreaming about Travis’ beautiful eyes. “I met a man.”
---
It had been about a year since Jasmine last saw Travis. She was going stir crazy living in a state so expensive. She didn’t make nearly enough to live the way she wanted to. So she started looking into housing elsewhere. She wanted to move somewhere peaceful. Somewhere dreamy.
That’s when she searched Colorado. She’d never thought to move there, since she was never a big fan of the cold, but something about all the information she researched about the state drew her there.
About another a year later, all her shit was packed up and she was on her way to Colorado.
---
She lived in Colorado for about two years before she even so much as looked at any of the guys there. There was still a portion of her heart that hoped that she would get a call or text from Travis. She never forgot the sound of his laugh, or the gleam in his eyes. She never forgot the way he smiled or smelled when he was close. She closed her eyes and then opened them to stare at her phone.
What if he was sitting wherever he was, staring at his phone, hoping she’d call? Maybe he wanted her to contact him first. Her finger hovered over his name but she couldn’t bring herself to call him. It had been four years. Maybe his number changed… she tossed her phone on the bed and went on with her night, getting ready for a date. She sighed. It all seemed so pointless. No man had ever made her feel the way Travis had when she met him.
---
Another two years passed. By this time, Jasmine had gone to California three times. Once to housesit for Ryan and Sam while they went on vacation. Once just because she needed to get the hell out of dodge and once… because her little brother was getting married. As she plopped down on her couch and rubbed her face tiredly, she stared at her phone, just hoping… foolishly hoping. All these years, she knew she was a fool for hoping he’d be thinking of her, but something inside her just couldn’t let him go.
She sighed and took her shoes off, lying on her couch and staring up at the ceiling. It had been six fucking years. Six years. At this rate, what if she never got over a man she’d never had a chance with in the first place?
She rubbed her head, laughing bitterly as tears filled her eyes. She never imagined that she, Jasmine Allison Bovington, would cry over a man. She was an independent woman. She didn’t need men… but that voice in the back of her head kept telling her, you don’t need him but you want him.
She cried herself to sleep that night.
---
Another year passed. Jasmine’s face was buried into her pillow as she groaned. She had a party to go to that night but she really didn’t want to go. One of her close friends was visiting from New York, and was pressuring her to get out.
“Ever since you went and visited in California that one time, you’ve been locking yourself away in your house, never leaving. How many times have you had sex since then?” To put things into perspective, Jasmine could almost count them on one hand.
She buried her face further into her pillow as she remembered the look on her friend’s face when she told her.
“We’re getting you laid,” her friend had told her matter-of-factly. “And that is that.”
Well, in the end, she did end up getting laid but… she couldn’t stop envisioning Travis’ face the whole time. She even accidentally called out his name during it. The man stopped only for a second before asking, “Oh, we’re roleplaying now?” A smirk crossed his face as he slyly added, “Okay, you’re a queen, the queen of the world. And I’m Travis, your lowly servant.” Jasmine pushed him off of her when he said that and quickly jumped off the bed.
“What’d I say?” He asked with a frown.
“I can’t do this,” she said simply and threw some clothes on before disappearing to go home.
That was the last time she tried to have sex… all the way up until a year later, when Travis came back into her life. She wanted nothing more than to kiss him and tell him everything would be okay, that he would survive the hurt that he was going through… that she wanted to be the person that helped him through it all.
Then he kissed her… and all the feelings of the last 8 years started to drown her in uncertainty and adoration all at once.

Happy MAGM! Do you have any societal rants you've been wanting to share about some idiots out there or on here? Wanna give your angriest character the honors?
Bahahaha anyone that keeps tabs on my character posts (so no one xD) will know this one.
Kate Bovington.
Kate: First of all, being angry is a curse on the person feeling the anger more than the people being angered toward!
Me: no one’s saying you’re wrong, Kate. Just answer the question.
Kate: *shooting me a look* well... there are lots of stupid people. Mostly people on the roads. I basically refuse to drive anymore... well, okay, JD refuses to let me behind the wheel ever since I um... picked a fight with a guy way bigger than me ahemahemhemayhavebeeninlikeabikergangorsomethingidunnoahemahem and um... JD had to calm me down over the phone before I did something “I’d” regret.
Thanks for the question, Ravage! :D

Bovington Girls & Marc Au Au
So, Val and I are working on yet another AU of the roleplay world. We’ve already done some Maxie/Vic/Max/Ezrah/Duncan roleplaying. Now we’re working on the Bovington family.
I don’t think there’ll ever be a version where Kate & JD don’t have their triplets, not gonna lie. We’re too attached to them xD
Anyway, here are some facts about the new versions of Kate, Jasmine and Marcus (under the cut):

Prompt pals!!! OU Marcus and AU Marcus meet!
Thank you for your patience while waiting for me to answer this prompt. (: I hope it’s worth the wait. Here we go, my boys meeting.
WC: 549
I wake slowly, blinking at the brightness of the sun peaking through the blinds. I shield my eyes and turn to kiss my wife-
And fly off the bed, eyes wide.
“Who-who are you?” I stammer, completely taken by surprise. The woman slowly blinks awake, frowning immediately.
“Did you say something, Marc?” She asks sleepily.
“Wait... I recognize you,” I say slowly, eyes narrowing suspiciously. “You’re that... uh, attractive girl my brother introduced me to. Claire...” She looks amused as she stares at me.
“Roleplaying? This early in the morning?” She asks, slowly rising to sit up in the bed. I stare at her.
“Did... did I get really drunk last night?” I ask, rubbing my head as it throbs with stress. “How did I get here? Where am I?” Suddenly, the door swings open and in walks a man that looks exactly like me. She glances toward the door and her eyes immediately widen.
“Is this some sort of joke?” She asks. “I know you’re a triplet, but... there’s two of you?” I’m staring numbly at the other man who’d just entered the room. Who is he? How is there a man that looks exactly like me... and why am I here? This woman must be into some kinky shit if I wake up in bed next to her and he walks in... did we have a threesome with a man that looks exactly like me? My head starts to pound.
“Who is this asshole?” The man asks, voice dripping with venom as he stares me down. She climbs out of the bed. “Which one of you is my husband?” She asks, sounding concerned and a little freaked out. I stare, then point at the other man as he says, “Me. I’m your husband. You can’t tell?” She frowns.
“You two look the exact same,” she protests.
“Where is my family?” I demand. “How’d I get here? Where’s my wife? My kids? Where am I?” The other man takes a threatening step toward me.
“That’s what I want to know. What are you doing in my bedroom?” I blink twice, then glance between the couple.
“Look, my name is Marcus... I met your wife years ago, when we were like 20 or something... and I thought she was cute, I mean look at her... but I’d never-” my face goes bright red as I turn to look at her. “We didn’t... did we?” I ask suddenly. She silently shakes her head. relieved, I let out a breath, but the other man steps toward me again and she quickly grabs his arm.
“Marcus, don’t hurt him. He’s obviously confused and doesn’t understand what’s happening.”
“It could be a rouse,” the other man says.
“Wait... his name is Marcus?” I ask suddenly.
“Yeah,” the man bites back. I stare.
“Um... I’m Marcus. We look the exact same, have the same name... what’s the name of your parents?” I ask.
“None of your business,” he snaps back.
“Mine are Kate and JD Bovington,” I tell him, not even batting an eye at his threats and tone. He stops to stare at me.
“How’d you know the name of my parents?” He asks suddenly, then his eyes narrow again.
“What the hell is going on?” We both ask at the same time.

To Die For is probs my new favorite song right now. But 7 years is another good one.
Alright, I don’t like Sam Smith, so I listened to a cover of this song. He has amazing lyrics, but his voice gets on my nerves (sorry)!
Here is a link to the cover I listened to.
Here is a link to the lyrics in case you, like me, couldn’t understand everything she sang.
Okay so now for the moment of truth (and this is another one I’ll have to add to my character’s playlist).........
This song is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for...
Kate Bovington
post-divorce. The way she feels like after JD divorces her... and eventually she did get her wish :x
