Dear Everyone,

We're sad to say this but, come the end of next week, Collapsing Sun RPG will be closing its doors. We're sad to do this but to be quite honest, it's been made apparent that while some members are very loyal and have been with us for a long time, it's also obvious that many have moved on, and that there isn't much more to do with the plot. I think we've had our run of the roleplay with it being almost a year old, people have gotten lazy when it comes to paraing and it's just not at all as active as it used to be. Despite events, plots, and trying to keep things active and promo'd at all times, it's just not panning out. I think we've just had a fantastic run and that it's time to wrap things up for good.

But we did thoroughly enjoy our time here and we love each and every one of you to pieces. We've appreciated your loyalty, the time and effort that you've all put in, and those of you that have been with us since the beginning especially.

Seriously I know that I've learned so much from the rpg through out it's run, and I'm still in shock we've made it so long, from July 2012 to May 2013, I think that is definitely something to be proud of.

We're giving you guys a week notice though, so if there are storylines that you would like to wrap up please feel free, and those of you that are very attached to your characters, message us separately if you'd like to keep the account up, maybe to go indy or just rp with others that are still sticking around. I'm sure we could allow it as long as you credit us for the bio.

But honestly we love you all, you've been amazing to write with.

As for me, Dara, Andi, and several other members, we're not leaving the rpg world! We're actually in the process of opening two brand new rpgs that we've been working on for some time now, we're very excited for them and hoping to open them up within about 2 or 3 weeks! We'll be posting links in the OOC Blog for you guys to check out if you'd like.

Senior at Mystic High

Personality: Attuned, Adaptive, Fast, Smart, & Lively

[BIOGRAPHY]

Riley grew up in a family of hunters, the Rosen family was well-known around the US, they were even old friends of the Winchesters, they never had a stable home. Once she started to learn how difficult that lifestyle was, part of her actually envied her little sister Willow who was taken away by a werewolf in the dead of the night, though she would never admit that thought aloud. It was never easy, she never had a stable home, and barely graduated high school, since she attended so many. They moved from motel to motel, her father was obsessed with the hunt, caring for Riley often fell by the wayside, but he did the best he could, she often had to take care of herself, sometimes ostracizing herself from her sister. She was raised to despise vampires and werewolves, so thats all she knows. When her parents are killed it only solidifies her inclination to eradicate the supes for good.She spends a lot of time outdoors, finding peace in nature, she can often be found practicing her abilities in the woods, she’s trying to learn knife fighting and skills, she’s very adept with a shotgun but she hasn’t yet mastered using a knife.

She finds the Winchesters sort of a symbol of everything she aspires to be as a hunter, and finds herself drawn to them, attempting to befriend the two of them in the hopes that maybe they can give her some pointers. Along with her sister Charlotte she begins to notice the signs as well, and starts to do her own research on the matter to see what these signs really mean and to see if these are the signs of the Apocalypse; and along with the Winchester’s help she learns more about what this could bring – demons, ghosts, even the Devil himself? She clearly didn’t sign up for this. She also looks up to the Winchesters, she can tell they’re a powerful duo and quite strong and capable hunters, Riley is gifted herself, but she’s a bit of a loner and trying to find a place to fit in. She was always looked over in the family in favor of Charlotte, but she makes up for it with her acute intuition and her intelligence. She wants to prove that she matters and is capable of something important by finding at least one crystal to close the gate of the four horsemen. Something that she learned from eavesdropping and spying on her sister, because otherwise Charlotte tries to keep her distant from the more dangerous hunts.

She’s witty and smart, and even though she’s shy she can still take care of herself, and she doesn’t take anyone cutting her down, she knows how to stand up for herself.

Chase Parker → 220+ → Vampire → Matt Lanter → OPEN

Personality: Sociopathic, Sinister, Seductive, Misleading, & Untrustworthy

[BIOGRAPHY]

Chase remembers very little about his human life. He and his mother were taken by a demon when he was only five. The reason they were taken by a demon, is because a male by the name of Adrian Trammel, the father of Jack, Ivy, and Anthony, was actually a friend of the Parker family. They were close and their children actually hung out together when they were young. But Adrian made the mistake of telling demons where the Parker's lived, and that the only one to protect them was a woman, making them easy prey. He didn't realize what he'd done of course, but he made an enemy out of Chase Parker after they were kidnapped, who would vow revenge on the Trammel family for putting them in the situation of being taken by demons. He grew up watching people get tortured, and eventually being forced to torture people as well. After one of the demons killed his mother he fled, and a year later he was turned by Katherine Pierce, who he dated briefly before she used him as a way to escape Klaus. He barely got away from the original vampire himself. He was on his own for over fifty years before he met Camille, Julia, and Noah. He didn’t know why, but he took to the group and their fierce loyalty to one another. He followed Camille's rule of keeping a low profile, but still he found enjoyment in torturing and killing. Julia and Chase didn’t get along from the very beginning, their complete opposite personalities always clashing, yet still he kept loyal to her and would be willing to kill and/or die for her. 

Now that hes in Mystic Falls he hasn’t found out what he should do there like the others. He has however made some friends, and is starting to become known for his cocky ways and for being a player. He can be very charming, but typically compels his conquests to be his little sex slaves. Chase knows how he treats people is wrong, but in his mind he is a monster so it doesn’t get to him as much as it should. Little do the others know, he has an ulterior motive for being in Mystic Falls, where he's tracked the Trammel family, and his goal is to finish off what he started by taking down Ivy and Anthony.

He has no conscience, over the years its just dissipated into nothing, where he feels no guilt for his malevolent actions and choices.

Despite his annoyance with Julia, he's always been attracted to her, and would sleep with her if he had the chance.

Camille Prescott → 550+ → Vampire → Lyndsy Fonseca → OPEN

Personality: Opinionated, Deplorable, Violent, Manic, & Arrogant

[BIOGRAPHY]

Camille was born into a rather wealthy family and was always use to all of the finer things in life. Her human life was easy, as an only child she got everything she wanted. Somehow though she became bored of the life as a spoiled girl and started to rebel. Thats when she met a vampire who changed it all for her, promising her eternal beauty and life. Camille made the choice to become a vampire without realizing how hard it would be in the beginning. She was left alone, figuring out how to live without being exposed all on her own.  Camille traveled alone for many years, befriending some vampires but never enough to stick together until she found Noah Trager, who was at risk of exposing their kind. She took him under her wing and taught him how to control his urges and stay under the radar, like she had been forced to teach herself. The two began traveling together after that, going their separate ways from time to time, but always finding their way back to each other.

Years later they came across Julia Michelle, a twenty year old girl who was dying of an unknown illness. In a moment of faith they saved her, turning her into one of them, both of them training her. It wasn’t long after that the fourth member of their ‘family’ joined them, a guy by the name of Chase Parker. The four traveled together, which eventually lead them to Mystic Falls, which seemed to have a supernatural pull. To fit in and seem normal, Camille took a job as a bartender at The Grill, where she has had the chance to meet many of the locals. Although she has self control and keeps  under the radar, she is quite sadistic and loves toying with guys, and sometimes even girls. She’s adamant about shaking things up within the realm of Mystic Falls, and all for challenging Lilith’s authority, part of her wants to pledge allegiance to the demon for her chance at more power. Or even team up with Klaus in hopes of becoming a hybrid.

She is very opinionated, and though sometimes it seems as if she cares about nothing or anyone, she will protect Noah, Emma and Isaac with her life.

Camille realizes how  beautiful and exotic she is and does nothing to hide how vain she is. She thrives on making others jealous and stealing the attention of men.

Personality: Self-Deprocating, Sarcastic, Cynical, Witty, & Selfish

[BIOGRAPHY]

Damon Salvatore is the older brother of Stefan Salvatore. He was born in the 1840s, and alongside his brother he became a vampire in 1864 at the hands of a vampire by the name of Katherine Pierce. She was a member of the Petrova line and she was several hundred years old by the time they had met her, she had both brothers under compulsion and they were hopelessly in love with her. Though she ended up choosing Stefan, something that sent a chasm in the relationship between the brothers for years to come.

At the time of his return to Mystic Falls, Damon and Stefan hadn’t seen each other in fifteen years because of their past. His sole purpose in coming back to Mystic was to free Katherine Pierce from the tomb, as he was madly in love with her and she was the one who had turned him. However, after discovering that Katherine had never loved him, he began working alongside his brother and the doppelgänger, Elena Gilbert, who Damon found himself falling for. It’s rare to find him without booze in his hand, though at the heart of it he still cares deeply for his brother, even if he is pushing him away for the time being. He’s steering clear of Elena the best he can, though he feels guilty for not helping her through her transformation. As of late, he's not even as close with Elena anymore after he killed Matt Donovan for getting too out of line at a party.

On the other hand, he’s pretty pissed about the increase of werewolves in town and their weird association with the Originals. Damon’s never been a fan of weres and even more so with so many of them running around. So he’s back to his old manipulative ways, trying to see what borders he can cross and alliances he can form, particularly with those in power. Since Damon Salvatore is in possession of the Blake family crystal. He found it while looting through one of the old estates on in Mystic. He hasn't told anyone about his find, not even Stefan. 

Damon has also recently turned a female by the name of Samantha Hardy, the relationship started off as sexual, but he he turned her into a vampire, now he’s working on how to be a decent maker to the female, and show her the ropes of being a real vampire, he’s grown to genuinely care about her.

Things took a turn for the worse when Damon murdered Matt Donovan turning most of the town against him, sending him towards his own edge as he attempts suicide, only to be talked out of it at the last moment by Anna, whom he soon developed romantic feelings for.

Damon doesn’t have much time or patience for hunters, he thinks they’re idiotic and not a real threat. 

He’s impulsive, sarcastic, and promiscuous, and can go from playful to murderous in seconds.

These roles will be re-opened if we're not contacted within 48 hours.
