STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBER! YUNJIN X LITTLE MENACE READER HEADCANON

Genre: fluff. Childhood best friends, not exactly romantic yet but there’s something there -

Warning: none bro. Reader is lowkey golden retriever puppy coded, don’t blame me-

Had in mind a spicier thing for Chaewon but first I wanted to do my first one about my girlie<3 but I’m still gonna post wonie’s one later. Might want to turn it into a little series of os in the same universe.

-You guys are actually childhood friends.

-Used to play together and go into feral mode, very energetic kids.

-Whenever you guys got hurt during one of your adventures, you would always clean each other’s tears and get a bandage with cute designs. That, plus little kiss in the affected zone and you were as good as new!

-eventually tho, when middle school ended and high school began, Yunjin started to become closer too with other kids (the fimmies) who were rather well mannered, so she eventually toned it down a bit until she became such a model student that they all became the student council.

-I mean she looked happy, and you were happy for her fr, and it’s not like you guys stopped talking. You just missed your partner in crime from time to time tbh. You have feelings too Cmon.

-You’re not actually a bad person, as some might think because of the amount of times you’re sent to detention. (Even some of the big intimidating kids like you and told you if you ever have a problem they’ll beat the sht outta people wheidjfod cute).

-And you’re not trying to create problems for yourself nor others, it’s just your excess of energy sometimes makes you be a little impulsive and don’t stop to use some reasoning.

-Like that time that your friend and you got into a heated and serious argument about the best gummy flavor since they kept saying green and you were like ??? Freakin green when blue and red exist???

-One thing lead to another and you ended up causing a food battle.

-Worth it tho ‘cause you

-1. Got supported by majority and red flavor (PAPA-PALGANMAT) won. And

-2. You got sent to the principal’s office who decided your detention would be in the student council’s office.

-Which meant you could spend some time with Jen and also the rest of the girls.

-GOING BACK TO THEM.

-They do actually like you, specially Eunchae, who was their youngest member.

-She likes how carefree and energetic you are and sees you as one of her role models like the rest of her older friends (even when chaewon tells her not to)

-Chaewon, as the student council president, of course has a liiiittle bit of a love-hate relationship with the cute little menace who can’t seem to get tired of running around school creating chaos nskdndjd. Here here.

-She’s always scolding you.

-And Yunjin too, when she gives in and joins you in your antics.

-She‘s never mean, she does it ‘cause she cares for her best friend’s other best friend and for her school.

-Sometimes tho, she might get a little too intense, and lowkey hurt your feelings without meaning to or realizing.

-But Yunjin and Sakura always remind you is with 0 bad intension, she just gets too much into stucon pres mode.

-Y’all are cool tho.

-now for the actual main topic of this Lmao

-Having a best friend in the student council actually be having its advantages hsjdnckd

-Since you seem unable to stay away from trouble, you often have Yunjin to your rescue.

-whether it is to talk to the professors, or even the principal!

-She always convinces them to not give you heavy punishments that might seriously affect your record.

-And she always gets you out of detention early.

-Except when you stop her from it for two reasons.

-First is ‘cause you’re having fun with the actual bullies in the detention uenrdjfn. Making jokes or talking about stuff you guys like. She just looks at you like “…Are you serious” and everybody just looks at her and shrugs, The Office style.

-And second is when your detention is in the student council office, then you stay there with her.

-Initially she tells you to be quiet and work on your class work ‘cause she has to focus on the papers on her desk.

-But then you start talking to her with the excuse that you need help (bs Ofc)

-Then the classwork questions turn into small talk

-Then that small talk goes into intense talk

-And you guys are just being loud making jokes and just laughing together while throwing paper balls to each other.

-Until Sakura or God forbids Chaewon tells you guys to stop playing around and finish both your work for class/ stucon responsibilities.

-Her mom still adores you. To her, you’re still just that energetic kid who would always bring a big smile into her dear daughter’s face.

-Her dad tho-

-Listen he doesn’t hate you but he doesn’t exactly LIKES you neither anymore bdjdndk

-He’s just protective with his kid and doesn’t want her getting into trouble. He’s never too mean or anything but sometimes (specially when it comes to his ears that you got in trouble again) he might make comments that aren’t exactly nice.

-But Jen’s mom is always there to defend you from her husband tho, and after a short awkward moment, things are ok (for now at least).

-Her uniform always ends up a mess when she lets go of her calmed self and you get a glimpse of her old self.

-It’s still there, and it’s not like she’s pretending to be somebody she’s not. She is who she is.

- “People grow up and change a little, it happens to everybody. Even to you.” She said. And you know it’s true. And you’re ok with it. Getting a little nostalgic about your childhood together is not a bad thing. And again, you guys are still good friends and you love and appreciate each other, even if you grew up to be slightly different (or maybe not) people.

-Seriously if it wasn’t for her who knows where you’d be right now, at juvenile or something. Get yo sht together bro.

In regards to the analogical pinned post (And after re-watching these analogical moments from the actual vids cause <3 <3 <3) TWO lil things i'm just DYING to point out or i'll explode! "Accepting Anxiety part 1/2" Logan to prove Virgil is needed, THROWS A LAPTOP AT THOMAS LET ME REPEAT T H R O W S A FREAKIN LAPTOP AND Causes Thomas PHYSICAL HARM just to get the point across to the others Virgil IS NECESSARY!! (Don't know bout you but only love can make you go that damn extreme <3 also this is referenced in "Have I grown? Five Years Later" when Logan says "We could not function without him as we saw" Immediately cuts to Logan doing something completely drastic again THROWING A LAPTOP for Virgil's sake! its called LOVE your honor!!)

This is more of a theory cause it nagged at me a little when re-watching but the "12 days of Christmas episode" I always wonder why didn't Logan speak up for Virgil sooner in the song with the "Seven slights at Virgil"? so here's a little personal theory and its all thanks to Patton! Patton was the FIRST to change any lyrics with the song to cheer up Virgil and just LOOK at the face Logan gives as the clogs in head start turning like "I..Never thought to do that." Patton gave Logan the idea to start changing lyrics hence the delay and wishing to make Virgil laugh now knowing what to do! didn't change the "eight bounts of banter" he went right for the one after Roman to get him back for the "Seven slights at Virgil"

listen, atp we all know logan will go through extremes only for virgil, so not shocked he threw that laptop, but as long as it proves their love for each other, then it has a purpose <3

MY SUPER MARIO MOVIE REVIEW (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Okay, so I have finally composed myself and I will say…man…the Mario movie was fun!

My overall review is its very funny, full of heart and the animation is gorgeous. There’s a lot of unexpected scenes that I found heartwarming and added to the characters/ plot.❤️

However…that being said…the pacing and script is my main concern. I know they have to fit a large chunk of lore for a good runtime, but there isn’t much development.

“But Moon, mario wasn’t all about story” I know, but a movie provides a chance to add story at a cinematic level.

Expanding the world and if not that the characters. If anything, I do not mind the simple plot. Mario needs to save Luigi and work alongside Princess Peach to defeat Bowser. Perfect.

However. I would have really liked more expanded characters. But I will elaborate below because that’s not my only critique.

Beyond here will be spoilers, read at your own risk!! My blog will start reposting/ talking about spoilers from here and now since it’s officially out!

CONS/ WHAT I WISH IT HAD MORE OF:

-I wish the bros got more screen time. Their chemistry and brotherly love was amazing, and I was itching to see more of them together.🥺

-that fight at the end with Bowser tho WAS EPIC! But Luigi was super underutilized omg… I really thought he was gonna have another role in the movie. I think they missed out on the side characters having more of a role or even a conversation…

-Speaking of which, idk, I found Lumalee kind of annoying. I know it’s probably going to set up a future movie…but I thought at least we would get some insight as to why the Luma was captured, why it hates living so much, idk….lol. But I did love the voice of Lumalee, super cute :)

-characterization. Apart from Mario and a LITTLE of luigi, and DK, the rest felt bland… I feel like bowser could have been more fleshed out (but don’t get me wrong, I loved how he had a crush on peach, his song and planned on marrying her. AHHH I LOVED IT) toad could have been more fleshed out. What are his goals at least? Not every character has to have an internal conflict, but he just felt…there. And what a shame because hes charming!

-okay guys, but peachs characterization. I’m sorry, this deserves its own post, so I will hyperlink it here when I finishing writing that, but omg yeah I am not quite attached to her portrayal yet😅 what a shame too because I love her so much…

-wish we spent some more time getting to know Mario’s family😭

-not a fleshed out ending. Hoped that peach would have reacted being on earth, maybe a montage of Brooklyn adjusting to having this pipe that leads to another world. What was the cities response overall when it came to cleanup? I know they have HAD to had some questions why a huge gorilla with a tie was there…and talking! Lol…

POSITIVES/ WHAT I FREAKIN LOVEDDDDD:

-Mario. Omg they freakin ACED Mario. His character flaws, his goals, aspirations, internal conflict, personality, everything I headcanoned/ hoped for. He’s a goofball who loves adventure, plumbing and loves his family. His determination, stubbornness, (RIZZ HE GOT THAT RIZZ!!!) and charm. Ugh. That affirms it. He’s my fav. I wanted to hug him through the screen many times SO BAD!!!🥺❤️

-luigi and Mario’s brotherly love/chemistry. Omg. The flashback of them as babies and when Mario was cupping Luigi’s face and almost crying out of relief. Like omg omg I’m so happy to that attention to detail😭🥺❤️ they love each other so much it’s just… *chefs kiss* I’m hoping for future movies we get more brotherly scenes, I’m still waiting for that piggyback ride🫶❤️

-baby peach. I just…I wasn’t expecting it. She was so cute and the fact that the toads just adopted her and raised her as their own tells goes sweet they are. 🥹 I’m so glad we got some of a backstory for her! But Omg…she was someone’s child then! :o I love lore…

-bowsers singing and the song peaches is a legit masterpiece. If my man don’t make a song like this and doesn’t sing it with that much enthusiasm I don’t want him!!😤😤😂💞but yep Jack black was awesome hehe he had me dying of laughter and he was super intimidating as Bowser!! He understood the assignment 💅🏼

-which reminds me. I love the plot of Bowser wanting to marry Peach and getting jealous of Mario. I wish we got Mario’s reaction of peach wearing the wedding dress tho I don’t think it really hit him that Bowser was trying to marry Peach…

- speaking of which…Mareach! We got a few cute scenes!! Nothing major, but I see that they are making it a slow burn romance 😏😂 okay, I can wait! While I wish we got more scenes, I loved how DK called out Mario’s attempts at flirting, Peach calling him adorable when he had his cat suit🥺🥺 and her giggles when Mario promises to buy her a pet turtle if she comes to Brooklyn. That was so freakin cute!!!❤️❤️🥹 you can tell Mario likes her, and peach has a fondness for him :)))

-CAT MARIO WAS SO ADORABLE DID YOU SEE WHEN HE BEAT DONKEY KONG HE WAS KNEEDING ON HIM LIKE A CAT WOULD AHHHHH-

-the animation and the storyboarding. Everything art related. The score. I wanted to fly when I heard bowsers theme. I wanted to cry seeing the beautifully crafted action scenes and I can’t wait to see the storyboards 😭❤️ illumination went all the way!!! Also the character design!!! I love all of their designs!!!

-the pop songs were a nice touch and the humor was great. :3

-SEEING MARIOS FAMILY AND THE FACT THAT CHARLES PLAYS THEIR DAD IS SO ADORABLE AND AWESOME I WAS FREAKIN FANGIRLING!!!

-also like I headcanoned THEIR MAMA IS SO ADORABLE I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! No wonder they came out as sweet incredible boys 🥺🧡

-the soundtrack man. They were cooking up in the studio I’m telling you!!! I heard it’s on Spotify now so I’m gonna be listening to it lol

-luigi is so precious but I wish HE HAD MORE SCREENTIME

-DK and Mario’s relationship give me rowdy sibling vibes and I’m here for it

-I love how they can travel from Brooklyn to mushroom kingdom through the pipe, at first I thought it was a star VS the forces of evil thing and the worlds merged until I realized the ending… XD

-I loved all the voices!! I think everyone did an amazing job, I heard a few inconsistencies throughout the movie but meh, everyone seemed excited for their roles!!!🧡🫶

If I can think of anything else I will add, but yeah, I think I had higher expectations for the movie😅 I think if it had a bit more time to flesh out characters, it would have been SUPER great. I loved all the references inside the movie, you can tell it was crafted with passion and love❤️ it was a very fun experience and of course the BRAINROT increased💞

Of course, this is my personal opinions and such, if you have a different one, that's fine! This is just what I would liked to see/ what I thought would have been better in the movie. That’s all!! :3

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - Mad Mike, Da Bear Warrior (Screenshots & Review)

Where is Tails’ other arm?!

Here's another episode starring "Da Bears", which also happens to be a Mad Max spoof. Neat!

The episode starts with Tails rescuing a rabbit named "Updike" who was being chased by Scratch and Grounder - and I wanted to make a lesbian joke here, but ti seems he is actually named this based to an author named John Updike. Mr. up-lesbian bunny tells Sonic about the fact he just escaped from a prison slave camp where Robotnik was forcing the members of his village to build a monument on top of a mountain of his head, not allowing them to eat, and keeping them from returning home by booby trapping the road back to their homes.

Scratch gonna make you an offah you can’t refuse...?

To stage a rescue operation, Sonic and Tails go to a scrapyard to meet up with Da Bears. Tails helps them build a giant big rig full of chili dogs to bring to the starving slaves. We get to see a cool sequence of them testing out its strength, driving around the scrapyard smashing up cars, but then Scratch and Grounder show up to cause trouble. They manage to kidnap Big Mike and star to interrogate him when Sonic shows and starts manipulating the badniks into telling them what all of the hidden booby traps along the road are. After getting the info they need, Sonic breaks Big Mike out of his cell and they go back to the truck to start making their along the road. Sonic apologizes for letting scratch and Grounder pester him as long as he did, but Big Mike doesn't mind - he likes being angry! (anger is a good motivator, I can relate)

We get to see Tails’ mechanical genius in action!

Sonic is dressed kinda like Wes Weasely. He even has that funny plaid jacket. :D

The interrogation scene is pretty cute. Poor scratch can barely read his instruction book, but he tries his best. He is so committed to the bit that he even orders Mike to say typical interrogation resistance lines.

The rest of the episode is quite action packed! Scratch and Grounder tail them along the road, trying various ways to stop them. At one point they also get attached by a biker gang called the "toad warriors" (cute!). In a last ditch effort to stop the heroes, Scratch and Grounder set up an instant-castle and an instant robo-knight named Sir Humongous, whom is formidable at first, but then Tails turns the chili dog truck into a freakin' dragon! Pretty cool. The chili dog truck dragon scares away Sir Humongous and they finally arrive at the construction site with a weird flowery screen transition.

The toad warriors give chase!

But then their bikes all explode. I hope that skull was one of their decorations and not their own skull!

As if Tails’ big rig truck wasn’t cool enough, it also turns into a dragon!

Sonic is proud of his little bro. :)

Robotnik arrives to yell at the slaves while they're all eating, and they gang on up on him to run them off. Robotnik flees into the nose of his own giant statue head (hey, it’s kinda like that one part in Sonic 3D Blast!) and then escapes in his little egg-o-matic vehicle. Sonic decides to then reconstruct the big Robotnik head into a monument honoring "Da Bears". Robotnik tries calling Scratch and Grounder to take out his frustrations on them, but they're currently squished under the shoe of Sir Humongous and decide they don't want to bother picking up. Robotnik yells out "this is disgusting! I can't even yell at anyone!". Well, doc, you could always make a twitter account if you want to yell at random people, I guess...

Seems like the slaves were so hungry they didn’t even wait for chili and hot dog buns. Poor bunnies. Glad they were rescued!

Booger time for Robotnik!

Poor Sir Humongous....he seems pretty down after being scared away by the dragon. Apparently he had a growth spurt too, because Scratch and Grounder are stuck to the bottom of his shoe!

In the Sonic Says segment, the up-rug-munch rabbit is walking around with a headache when Grounder comes by and trips, dropping his own prescription of robot headache pills. He's about to try to steal some (dude, what the hell?) when Sonic comes and points out to him that taking someone else's medicine can make you sick. True, and it's also a messed up thing to do because they need that stuff for themself!

This episode was pretty fun! I was not expecting a mad max spoof from Sonic, just as I didn't see it coming when Eek The Cat did a Pulp Fiction parody. There was lots of cool action, we got to see Tails’ mechanical skills, an awesome dragon truck, some good Scratch and Grounder silliness, and Da Bears are pretty likable characters as well. Good stuff!

You’ll have to excuse me, I’m kinda old

And I’ve been through this song and dance before.

I don’t want you to tell me about how obviously the symbolism, song lyrics, motifs, or themes of the story allude to the main character being gay/queer.

I want you to tell me if the author said he was queer. I want you to tell me if the publisher categorizes him as queer. I want you to tell me if he has been explicitly advertised as queer. Hell, I want you to show me the mainstream media that has stirred the pot on this, announcing it or broadcasting people who are against it.

You don’t get to live in this fantasy where being a gay main character is an easy thing, and the only worry is “Will They or Won’t They.”

You get to live in the world where if a character is queer, the author isn’t coy about it; its not a freakin’ mystery to be unraveled by analyzing the outro lyrics. Because not only would his editors/producers not want to be blindsided by that, but they need to market accordingly and predict audience responses. Because there will be people who boycott and hate it just because.

You don’t get to insist your ship is endgame by just saying the boys are dressed too cute to actually be straight. You have to insist your ship is endgame by showing actual improvements in actual gay men’s civil rights.

Do you see any evidence that the author is ALLOWED by his producers to write a queer main character? If not... the purpose of a lead female character is to be placed prominently in the advertising of the show, to show a balance and contrast to young girls. You remember those, right? Young girls? Many of whom aren’t yaoi fangirls, so their first priority when picking a show to watch isn’t imagining that all male best friends are secretly lovers.

You don’t get to ask for queerbaiting marketing because talking about actual gay men’s acceptance in society is too hard, so you’d rather pretend the real issue is who gets to hold Izuku’s hand in the opening sequence and not the massive amounts of worldwide homophobia and how it would affect Shonen Jump, Viz Media, Bones Studio, Crunchyroll, Medialink, Animax, and Warner Bros to have a cash cow franchise endorse a gay main character.

You don’t get to step backwards and ask for scraps.

You ask for real acceptance with a main character who is obviously written and marketed as queer. You don’t ask for your ship to be featured in the opening so that your gif sets look wicked cool.

And with all that being said, of course Bakugou is the most important relationship in Izuku’s story. This is a Shonen Jump anime, the rival is always the most important relationship in the hero’s story. But back in my day, yaoi fangirls didn’t insist that their ships - Grimmjow/Ichigo and Renji/Byakuya? Goku/Vegeta? Yugi Moto/Seto Kaiba? Hiei/Kurama? Ash/Gary or Red/Blue? Tai/Matt? Davis/Ken? - were canon and endgame, and if the authors looked like they were indulging them, they called it queerbaiting because “Shonen Jump would never.” Has something changed? Feel free to show me.

That’s all I ask.

If the games raiden was half as good as the animated movies raiden.

We'd be in heaven as mk fans.

Look no offense,mk 11 to me seems pretty amazing as a game(impo) from gaming standards and aspects. But story wise for the past 3-4 games it's been lacking. What I'm saying beyond the fun aspects of gameplay,customization,etc. Mortal kombat as a franchise has been so-so for a while now. Again impho,the games aspects outside of storytelling. Has aged for the better and gotten better over the many many years like a delicious wine. The graphics,the extra features,the details,the combos,fatalities,etc. All absolutely amazing as always. But when it comes to the story. They just no offense,suck. It's bland but not basic or simple enough to be digestible. It's complicated in all the wrong ways. And major plotholes and nerfing for plot. Raiden is a prime example. Raiden is a fucking god! He is canonlly in story in many many timelines to be one of the strongest (next to his brother fujin) Gods in the mk universe. Only being surpassed by the elder gods themselves. Simply because his element,his powers,draw from the very essence of the earthrealm itself. A whole freakin realm! Do you know how strong this mofo is?! Very. Even when he's mortal,even when he canonlly nerfed himself on purpose to fight in the tournament. He still kicked major asssssss! And thats not even the half of it. Raiden legit is supposed to be op. Thats the point. He's the mentor,the kombatants of earthrealms warriors (especially liu kang and kung lao respectfully) teacher and protector. The only other being other than himself that is SUPPOSED to be on equal terms in power and respect is his brother fujin. The other only person that is an adversary that can go toe to toe with raiden is shang but thats due to the many decades and decades of them duking it out,not to mention shangs magic.

Like i could go on forever how the nerfed raiden in all the wrong ways in the games.

But the animated movies?! Oh holy butter on a biscuit is raiden badass! The voice,the characterization,the art,yes,yes,and a thousand times yes! This is the raiden i want. This is the raiden i need.

Course it still isnt perfect,nothing is. But is it better than the games? Yes,unfortunately it is.

I hate to say that too because the games should be the bread n butter and should be the best version. Because thats the source you know,but it's not.

It kinda makes me sad.

Look you can make raiden softer,vulnerable,and even add more flavor. But without nerfing his character to the point he doesn't feel like an actual god character or worse yet,weak compared to his bro. Which isn't fair,cuz they are SUPPOSED TO BE EQUALS PERIOD.

Anyways can we also talk about how fucking cute his face is when he's mortal?

His face,it's just so 🥺💙⚡

Soft but wise,but also stern but chill,funny too. Like unf. This is the closest thing we got to raiden in a long time for me that comes close to dotr raiden,conquest,or even 95 movie raiden. Its like a combo of all that but more oomf. Plus that voice? Smoooooth and silky.

Don't let me stop you from loving game rai. But this rai? Oooooo boyeeee. Yes sir! I'll take this any day.

UPDATE 25 JANUARY 2023

Eventually, the whole cultivation world starts pressuring Wei Ying to choose a husband.

Ome thing to keep in mind is that WWX is still 15 or 16 when all of this is happening. All this pressure isn't good for her mental health.

Wei Ying becomes confused because of her feelings towards all the men.

She goes to talk to her papa about her worries and thoughts about all the men who are trying to court her.

WCZ, being the very protective A-Die that he is, reassures her that she does not have to choose a husband or get married at all. If she wishes to not marry at all, she has the right to do so. She doesn't have to choose any of her suitors.

CSSR comes into the room having over heard the father-daughter convo.

She is accompanied by BSSR and XXC (who are still there btw, they haven't left yet).

CSSR agrees with her husband’s statement and reassures WWX that she does not need to worry as her A-Niang and A-Die will always be there to support her.

BSSR suggests that Wei fam take a vacation on her mountain for a while so they can all chill.

Wei fam agree and go to pack their nags as BSSR declared that they'll be leaving tomorrow.

The Jiangs are the 1st to know about it and aren't very pleased but help them pack anyway.

JC is helping WWX, JFM with WCZ, YZY with CSSR, and JYL entertains BSSR and XXC.

JC questions WWX about her impromptu trip, asking her if she's avoiding him.

She responds that she isn't avoiding him and explains why she's going away for a short while, needing to go clear her mind.

JC is understanding of the situation and gives a kiss on the forehead while telling her to not cause too much trouble.

This moment is very intense and intimate, radiating the pair's romantic and sexual tension.

WWX responds that she can make no promises on that regard but that she'll try to be a good girl for him.

JC grabs into a tight hug with his face buried into her neck and her arms wrapped around his broad shoulders.

JC tells her that if she behaves, he'll reward her when she comes back.

He then places a kiss on her neck and leaves the room.

Wei Ying stays there, standing confused with her face as red as her ribbon.

Trollhunters : Rise of The Titans [Rika’s Version!]

AIGHT SO THIS IS WHAT SHOULD’VE FREAKIN’ HAPPENED --

The movie starts a year after Wizards. We see Douxie, Archie, and Nari all settled in Metro City. Douxie managed to get a dinky little apartment and works two jobs. He comes home after a long day to Nari and Archie.

Maybe Nari’s running around chasing after Archie. Maybe the two of them are curled up on the couch and snoozing. Douxie smiles softly, petting Archie’s head and gently brushes Nari’s hair out of her face. Maybe Nari was singing to one of her plants and just beams when Douxie walks through the door. Just Magical Siblings and Their Therapy Cat fluff.

But that night, Douxie wakes up. Something feels very, very wrong. Nari feels it, too.

Cut to the door to their apartment being busted right through, flames quickly consuming the threshold. To Douxie’s horror, it’s the Arcane Order and he immediately goes on the offensive. This is the first display in the movie of Douxie’s strength as a Master Wizard, his proficiency and skill with his magic as he holds his own against Bellroc and Skrael as he did in Wizards. He tells Archie to take Nari and run but neither of them want to leave him behind. Archie instead fights beside Douxie, urging for Nari to escape while she can. Nari’s reluctant because Douxie and Archie have become so precious to her.

When it looks like they’re about to be done in, Archie wills himself to transform into a huge dragon, taking Douxie and Nari into his claws and flying out of there, busting straight out of the apartment. But not before giving Bellroc and Skrael a thrashing with his tail. They manage to give the Order the slip. For now.

Archie quickly loses steam from holding such a form and crashes on the outskirts of the city, transforming back into a cat. Douxie cradles him in his arms. Nari tends to their wounds with her magic, looking forlorn.

Douxie frantically dials a number on his phone.

“Claire? Claire it’s me...” A column of fire erupts in the distance. A shot of Douxie, Archie, and Nari huddled close. “They found us.”

Trollhunters : Rise of the Titans Title Screen

The scene fades in on the new and improved Camelot, where the Lakes are staying. We see Jim spending time with his mother and Walter and it’s lovely. We see a hint of Jim’s trauma when he’s cooking and looks at his reflection in a spatula. He flinches away. He doesn’t want to look at himself. Barbara comforts him, a tender heartfelt moment between them.

Claire then emerges from a shadow portal with grim news : The Arcane Order have found Douxie and Nari.

Jim gathers his friends. Claire shadow portals them all to Douxie, who’s found shelter in a hut Nari made from tree roots. Douxie’s cast a barrier to hide their presence, though it won’t last long.

It’s a really sweet and awesome reunion. Douxie gives Claire and Steve big hugs. Nari bounds up to Toby and holds his hand. Jim, Krel, and Douxie have a “good to see you again, bro” moment between them. Aaarrgh licks his lips at the sight of Archie.

It’s here that Douxie gives the deets on what’s happened. As they begin to figure out a way to keep Nari safe and away from the Order, Nari suddenly says, “No.”

After almost losing Douxie and Archie, her new family, Nari decides enough is enough. She wants to face her corrupted siblings head-on. To not only protect the world, but her newfound friends.

Douxie understandably protests. But Nari, gentle but resolute, tells him she’s made up her mind. No more running.

And so, Douxie acquiesces.

Cue the sequence/fight scene on the train!

Nari realizes what Douxie’s doing when it’s too late. They switch bodies and Douxie’s taken away by the Order.

“Douxie, I’m so sorry...I couldn’t save her,” Claire laments.

Nari, in Douxie’s body, “N-no...No, I am fine. But Douxie...Douxie!”

Everyone’s like, “Oh no” but then oof, they all get arrested.

The police department scene! With Krel and the Blanks busting everyone out.

Now, we find ourselves back on Camelot where Jim’s being attended to by Walter and Barbara after waking up from a nightmare. Bellroc’s words torment him : “Without your Amulet, you are nothing but a frightened! Little!! BOY!!!”

Walter suggests Jim should lay low, let his friends handle things. Jim reaches a real low point here. Claire provides some comfort. Hand in hand, they make their way to the Round Table, where everyone’s licking their wounds.

Blinky explains to them that the Order wants to awaken the Titans and need all three members of the Order to do so. While everyone’s relieved that Nari’s safe, Douxie’s now in the Order’s clutches and they want to figure out a way to save him.

Nari, sad and grim, says that Douxie’s spell will eventually wear off.

“He is, as humans say, buying us time...”

Cut to Douxie (in Nari’s body) with the Order. Douxie doesn’t make a sound, not wanting to give anything away. They try the ritual and when it fails, Bellroc and Skrael quickly suspect foul play. They realize that Nari isn’t Nari and proceed to forcefully, painfully, undo Douxie’s spell.

Douxie wakes up, back in his own body. He’s swarmed by his friends, all overcome with relief that he’s alright, but it’s short-lived. The Order has Nari.

Douxie manages to recall where the Order took him. Before they head out, a downtrodden Jim says he should stay behind, going back to the bed chamber. Claire goes to talk to him, but Douxie stops her.

“Let’s give him some space,” Douxie says gently, though he looks just as concerned for Jim. “In the meantime,” he summons his staff, “we’ll hunt the Order down, put a stop to their schemes, and bring Nari home.”

Everyone heads to the warehouse-train track place (I forgot what it was called rip). Just then, Aja comes flying in, having been contacted by Krel. The Tarron siblings have a sweet, wholesome, long-awaited reunion. Also Staja and Creepslayerz reunited!

Aja cautions Steve about the whole seventh kiss-pregnancy thing and he quickly decides that, yeah no, he’s not quite ready for that. His Alien Queen Muffin (or whatever the heck he called her) is back and that’s all that matters to him. Also wtf Eli’s hot and taller than him now.

There’s a cute moment of Douxie and Aja really meeting for the first time. Aja recognizes him.

“Oh! You were the hand-reading waiter boy!”

Upon hearing she’s a Queen, Douxie’s Medieval chivalry kicks in and he bows at the waist.

“The name’s Hisirdoux, Your Majesty.” After Aja butchers his name, he says “Douxie” will do just fine.

Nomura abruptly reminds them they don’t have time for pleasantries. They get to it. Douxie figures out the sigil and the illusion fades, revealing the Order performing their ritual with a brainwashed Nari. They’re unable to stop it and the Order members teleport away to join with their respective Titans. We see each of the Titans rising.

The Arcadia Gang regroups back on Camelot to form a plan. Jim, discouraged and deeply troubled, is leaning over a rail, head in his hands. Douxie comes up beside him, silent.

Jim eventually asks how things went. When Douxie tells him they failed and the Titans have risen, Jim feels even more powerless and guilt-ridden.

“I’m sorry...I’m sorry, I couldn’t...I can’t do anything. Without the Amulet I’m not the Trollhunter anymore and I’m just...useless--”

Douxie cuts him off, putting a hand on Jim’s shoulder.

“Jim. That’s not true. Do you remember what I told you? That our strength doesn’t come from special trinkets. Our strength...” Douxie finally gets Jim to look at him, “comes from our friends. From each other. All of us together. That includes you.”

“But...without my Amulet how can I do anything--”

Douxie smiles gently. “By being true to yourself, Jim. As we, your friends, are true to you.”

Just then, Claire joins them and asks if Jim’s okay. Jim smiles as Douxie ruffles his hair.

“I will be. Thanks.”

Jim, Claire, and Douxie find everyone arguing at the Round Table. Aja is wanting to evacuate everyone off of Earth, to which Blinky protests. Everyone just keeps going back and forth until Jim yells for them to stop.

Time to divide and conquer, cutting back and forth between each battle with the Titans.

Aja, Krel, Steve, and Eli tackle the Fire Titan.

Blinky, Toby, and Nomura handle the Ice Titan, with Walter and Barbara steering Camelot.

Jim, Claire, Douxie, and Aaarrgh go for the Earth Titan. Douxie’s hoping to get through to Nari and break her free from the Order’s control.

Aja and Krel fight the Fire Titan side by side on their hoverboard. Steve and Eli help civilians off the bridge and keep them safe.

Varvatos Vex in his giant robo mech incoming, along with a handful of Akiridion warships.

The Fire Titan proves to be too powerful and defeats Varvatos’ robot, melting down the Akiridion troops in the process. Aja and Krel are knocked down from their hoverboard. They and Varvatos retreat as the Fire Titan continues to burn a path towards its destination.

Toby and Nomura attempt to zipline their way to the Ice Titan to take down Skrael with Akiridion bombs. When the rope fails, Walter extends his wings to save them, but his wings quickly freeze.

Nomura grabs the bombs and sacrifices herself, bidding a heartwrenching farewell to Toby and her longtime friend, thanking them both. She asks Toby to tell Jim she said goodbye. Ever agile, Nomura scales the Ice Titan and detonates the bombs.

But to everyone’s horror, the Ice Titan only puts itself back together. Walter sinks to his knees. Toby throws down his helmet. Their friend sacrificed herself for nothing.

Aaarrgh is charging after the Earth Titan, Douxie, Jim, and Claire hanging onto his back. Claire shadow portals the three of them onto the Titan’s back. Douxie begins to plead with Nari, even as she constricts him with vines.

Douxie manages to grab her hand. He begins to break the mind-control with his magic, still calling out to Nari as he’s losing the ability to breathe.

Douxie’s voice reaches her and she breaks free. Nari frantically asks where she is, if she hurt him or his friends. Douxie, overcome with relief, just embraces her.

“You’re here with us, Nari...You’re here with us.”

Nari assures them they have a Titan on their side now. They receive communication from the Tarrons, who warn them that the Ice Titan is getting close to Arcadia.

No time to wonder why Skrael’s headed there. Claire makes a massive shadow portal to Arcadia (the field trip scene!), taking Nari’s Titan with them. Nari tries to reason with Skrael, but he’s having none of it.

NARI VS SKRAEL COMMENCE!

The Tarrons and Creepslayerz arrive on scene. Douxie boards Aja’s hoverboard and together they fire lazers and magic at the Ice Titan. Varvatos dashes and slashes his way up the Titan. Claire, Jim, Krel, Steve, and Eli work to rescue the school bus from getting crushed.

Well, it does get crushed but thankfully everyone made it off. Then, Archie comes flying in with his father, Charlemagne. Charlie flies all the students and Coach to safety. Archie joins Douxie in the air, blasting Skrael with fire.

“C’mon and face the music, Skrael!!!” Douxie summons Spellcaster and starts shredding.

Enraged, Skrael releases a devastating burst of magic that knocks Douxie, Aja, and Varvatos away. Nari seizes the opportunity to impale Skrael’s Titan, but not before Nari’s fatally wounded by him in return. Both Titans collapse.

Douxie runs to Nari, desperately calling her name. She’s on the ground, dying. Everyone gathers around, devastated. Douxie holds Nari in his arms. Archie nuzzles Nari’s arm, tears forming in his eyes. Douxie’s already crying.

“No..No, no, Nari, please...” Douxie holds her hand. “Nari, don’t go, please...!”

“It is okay, Douxie...Do not be sad...”

“I’m sorry...I’m sorry, I said I would protect you...” Douxie leans down, almost touching his forehead to hers (it’s Harry and Dobby y’all). His tears fall onto her face. “I said I would protect you...!”

“You did something greater, Douxie...” Nari squeezes his hand. Tears of her own roll down her cheeks. “You gave me a home. And many, many friends....” Douxie sobs harder, holding her close. “You saved me, Douxie...” She’s beginning to fade. She smiles, her eyes closing. “Thank you...Thank...”

Nari fades, wisps of magic and flower petals slipping through Douxie’s fingers. Douxie wails, Archie pressing close. Jim and Claire lay their hands on his shoulders. Claire hugs him.

Krel is then alerted that the Fire Titan is also on the move towards Arcadia.

Everyone reconvenes on Camelot. They all mourn the deaths of Nomura and Nari.

They learn that Bellroc is headed towards Arcadia, the center of the universe, because that’s where the last Heartstone is. If at least one Titan reaches the Heartstone, the world will be wiped clean.

Before they head out, Douxie and the Tarrons present Jim with a brand new Amulet, forged from magic and Akiridion technology. That, and the stone in which Excaliber lodged itself. Douxie encourages Jim to try once more.

Jim steps up on the stone, gazing fondly at his friends around him. They all place their hands on the stone in support. Jim pulls Excaliber from the stone. Everyone cheers for him.

Douxie’s seen texting someone.

FINAL SHOWDOWN IN ARCADIA

Bellroc is seen making their way towards the Heartstone. But what stands between them and the prize is the Guardians of Arcadia.

Charlemagne, Archie, and Walter soar above. Blinky and Aaarrgh lead an army of trolls. More Akiridion fleets arrive, Aja and Krel at the helm. Varvatos has a brand new robo, too.

Bellroc sneers at their defiance and summons an army of their own : hundreds of big rocky lava monsters.

BATTLE OF THE MOST EPIC OF PROPORTIONS IS A GO.

Trolls are punching, Akiridions are blasting, magicians are casting.

JIM SUITS UP WITH HIS NEW ARMOR AND EXCALIBER AND IS LIKE DON’T THINK BECOMIN’ FOR YA BELLROC FOR THE GOOD OF AAAAAAAALL

Douxie conjures up a spell to send that boy flying onto that Fire Titan.

Toby and Aaarrgh slam and hammer their way through fiery goons. Claire and Aja team up to take down the opposition, noting they should get lunch together sometime. Charlemagne tears through the enemies with his claws and wings. Krel and the Creepslayerz flail about and kick tail anyway.

Our heroes all cover one another and play off of each other’s strengths and it’s beautiful.

When Douxie’s about to get smothered by lava fists, there’s a flash of lightening and the monsters vaporize.

Douxie turns to see Zoe with a brigade of hedge wizards. Douxie’s immediately bowled over, smitten.

“About time you showed up...,” Douxie says, in a daze cause wow Zoe’s so pretty.

“Oh, you’ve got a lot of nerve --” Explosions. More lava monsters. Zoe sighs and pats Douxie’s cheek. “Ugh, focus, you big sap!”

The pair are unstoppable together, mowing down the lava monsters in powerful bursts of blue and pink.

DOUXIE’S EYES GO BLUE AND ZOE’S EYES GO PINK EPIC AVATAR STATE RINGS OF MAGIC AS THEY DECIMATE THEIR FOES WITH ROCK MUSIC BLARING YESSSS

And well, Douxie can’t help himself and gives Zoe a good long smooch after they’ve destroyed half of Bellroc’s army.

Toby in the distance : HOW LONG HAS THAT BEEN A THING?????

Archie just groans.

And meanwhile, Jim’s finally facing off with Bellroc. After having one of the most badass fights in the franchise, Jim comes out on top, skewering Bellroc in the stomach with Excaliber.

AND BOOM THEY DID IT GUYS EARTH IS SAVED.

....But not without great cost.

Toby’s been mortally wounded, crushed by the falling pieces of the Fire Titan. There’s the tearful, heartbreaking moment Jim has to say goodbye to his best friend, the one who was there with him through it all.

“We did it, Jimbo...We did it...”

Jim holds Toby in his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. Claire holds Jim and weeps beside him. Aaarrgh is in hysterics but is calmed to pained whimpers by Blinky. The Arcadia Gang grieves, feeling the painful weight of losing the friends they held so dear....Nomura, Nari, and now Toby.

Time Skip/Montage

Douxie found a proper apartment in Arcadia. He keeps a potted plant with those distinct pink flowers, the flowers Nari loved, on his windowsill. Smiles softly at them every time.

Scenes of Mary with Darci as she mourns. Steve and Eli hanging out. Douxie and Krel jamming, Krel creating beats and Douxie riffing on his guitar. Aja and Claire going on that lunch date. Archie taking a nap on top of Aaarrgh. Walter playing classical music.

It’s taken a while, but Jim’s starting to feel a little bit better. Douxie, Krel, Steve, and Eli came over for some bro time. Seeing the pain in his eyes, Douxie gives Jim a hug.

The final scene is a picnic at everyone’s favorite spot in Arcadia with a single bench and an awesome view of the town.

Aja and Steve are cuddling. Krel and Eli play with a frisbee. Blinky, Aaarrgh, and Varvatos laugh around a table. Douxie and Zoe, holding hands, are having a lively chat with Claire. Jim serves up a huge plate of enchiladas.

Walter and Barbara announce their engagement. Everyone celebrates.

EMOTIONAL SPEECH VOICEOVER TIME.

Aja, Varvatos, and Eli depart back to Akiridion-5. Steve honks into a tissue. Krel pats him on the back as he waves to his sister.

Barbara kisses Jim on the forehead before going home with Walter.

Zoe kisses Douxie on the cheek and heads off.

Steve and Krel are the next to go.

Douxie, Archie around his shoulders, pulls both Jim and Claire into a hug before leaving.

Blinky gives Jim a hug. Aaarrgh nuzzle him, looking sad.

Jim and Claire hold hands and sit on the bench, gazing out at the town.

i should not be allowed to do this because the last three seasons i have completely skipped around for the so-called highlights but whateva

also! this is based on opinion and how much i like the ship/how much content i consume of it. and not how toxic or canon compliant it is.

hehe let’s do it

KLAINE (kurt x blaine) - and listen if u have klaine slander ur entitled to that. it is in no way a perfect ship, it has its moments for sure. but this is not the place for your discourse so kindly take that somewhere else. anyway i love these guys. so freakin much. they have such good chemistry and the way that they look at each other… chef’s effing kiss. this isn’t just a klaine post tho so i’ll keep it moving.

FABERRY (rachel x quinn) - eeee what do i even say?! first of all quinn is so queer coded it’s unbelievable. like ur telling me that girl isn’t a lesbian? come on. and second, i never saw rachel as gay until i came across this ship, but i see it as being kind of an insecurity of hers. like, she’s got all this stuff going for her and a secret she doesn’t know how to let out? idk. queer!Rachel doesn’t usually cross my mind except for in this ship cause it’s so cute and i love it

BRITTANNA (brittany x santana) - first of all this was the first canonical wlw ship i was ever really exposed to and they hold a special place in my heart for that considering i like girls 💅. but in all seriousness, i love their chemistry, i love santana’s whole “i hate everyone but you” thing and brittany just being fabulous and perfect. they are two of my fave characters also so…

BLAM (blaine x sam) - okay, so i don’t consider myself a multi shipper, but… if i had to pick up a backup for blaine, and if we’re staying within canon, relatively, i would have liked to see this as a hook up or a short lived thing in season 4 after blaine cheats on kurt :( or maybe in season 6 before the wedding bevause if everything is so effed up anyway might as well exchange that whole karofsky situation… yikes. it’s not endgame for me because they’re just bros but i do really like the idea

QUINNTANA (quinn x santana) - this was the gateway drug that led me to faberry which is why it’s in number five. i’m not going to lie, they had a lot of sexual tension in seasons 3-4 and that hookup at the ‘wedding’ was long awaited. again not endgame, but it’s more endgame material than blam. the reason it’s lower on the list is because i don’t care as much about their relationship dynamic as friends as i do with blaine and sam.

PEZBERRY (santana x rachel) - i need to stop prefacing like this because pretty much nothing on this list qualifies as endgame anymore after britanna. this is cute. would i read a fic about it? yeah. would i gush over fanart? sure. would i freak out of this had been canon in any way? definitely. but it’s not a hardcore ship, and they wouldn’t end up together.

MIKE X TINA - we’re really getting to the idc section of this post, because i have literally zero opinions on mike chang. i love tina though, and i think she was the best when she was with him… particularly in season 3. i love season 3 tina. love her!

FINCHEL (finn x rachel)- again, i don’t care. finn is a very neutral character imo - like i never really felt strongly one way or the other about him his whole time on the show. but, i liked seeing him happy with rachel, even though it seriously got in the way of my otp

ARTINA (artie x tina) hated this in season 1, hated it in season 6. but, it would have been cute if the writers had given it more thought instead of just making it a side ship, because they were obsessed with having everyone in the glee club pair up. ugh, i don’t know. it could be okay if it was actually done well.

ok, now onto the ships i don’t really like but decided to share my thoughts on anyway. ugh…

HEVANS (kurt x sam) - no? i mean, there’s nothing inherently wrong except they hardly have a relationship, at least in the better part of the series. i just don’t see the appeal tbh. no hate to hevans shippers though :)

PARTIE (puck x artie) - listen i don’t like pick and i definitely wouldn’t say i ship this… but it’s interesting. i’m not opposed. i’m sorry idk what this is either

PINN (?) (puck x finn) - listen… tina’s dream sequence where they were supposed to be playing kurt and blaine? it was freakin cute and while i just think they hate each other too much to ever have a romantic relationship, i think a one-sided pining situation is cute for them, or maybe a short lived high school thing. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. not endgame.

QUICK (quinn x puck) - it’s inherently problematic. i could go on and on about how quinn deserves better but it would be awful not even to mention the degree to which this is messed up. puck literallt sexually assaulted quinn- he got her drunk so he could have sex with her. it’s a big no for me. besides, even if that didn’t happen, these two would never make it.

Toby’s relationships with the other pastas 💞🪓

please note that i write the pastas as i see fit but this is just something i fall back on and is generally how i write them.

🌲Slender🌲

🌲He views Slender like the mostly positive father figure he never had.

🌲 They have played catch together before, like in the old movies where the father and son throw around a baseball.

🌲 But, he’s also Toby's boss.

🌲 Sometimes, when Toby is feeling really really low, he resents Slender for that.

🌲 Toby craves normalcy, but he knows he may never get it thanks to his “job”.

🌲 But he also knows that Slender saved his life. (sometimes he wishes Slender hadn’t saved him).

🍬LJ🍬

🍬 He doesn't like LJ too much.

🍬 He was never fond of clowns as a kid, and it still kind of carries over.

🍬 LJ also has a bad habit of making fun of or making jokes out of Toby’s tics.

🍬 It’s not all LJ’s fault.

🍬 I mean, he is a clown after all whose job it is to crack jokes. And he was “born” in such a different time.

🍬 But still, it isn’t great. Toby kind of avoids LJ tbh.

🧵Puppeteer🧵

🧵 They don't get along at all.

🧵 They have only met a handful of times, for business purposes only.

🧵 Each time, Puppeteer made fun of Toby’s tics.

🧵 Obviously, this does not sit well with Toby and the two don’t get along as a result.

🎮 They are friends!

🎮 It’s a good thing that BEN has such an easy going personality.

🎮 The boys can be chaotic together, or they can just be chill.

🎮 The one drawback is that Toby can’t play video games all that well (tics), but he’s happy to watch BEN and participate when he can! :)

🔪 Jeff can be a major asshole to Toby, and their "friendship" is constantly on the rocks.

🔪 Jeff loves to tease and antagonize Toby. :(

🔪 He’ll make fun of Toby’s tics and his scar, which are real sore spots for him (obviously).

🎨 He tries to keep clear of BP because he knows how BP feels about him (thinks he's annoying).

🧣 He doesn’t mind Liu.

🧣 It’s Sully that he minds.

🧣 Sully has an aggressive personality with anybody, but he especially clashes with Toby.

🧣Sully makes all kinds of snide remarks about Toby’s tics (Liu would never, though).

🧣 It really frustrates Toby because it makes him want to hate Liu for being so mean to him, but he knows it’s not really him that’s doing it, it’s Sully.

🤍EJ🤍

🤍 They're friends, (once Toby got over his initial fear of EJ).

🤍 Toby thinks that EJ is surprisingly chill, and he appreciates that about him.

🤍 He is also grateful that EJ never says anything about his tics because a) EJ can’t even see them that well (if its motor) and b) EJ is a big freakin’ demon thing. He has no room to judge anybody lol

🤍 okay but sometimes if Toby has a vocal tic that like came out of nowhere and EJ doesn’t recognize it as a regular tic, he’ll go like “brrrr?” as like a questioning noise and it’s super cute tbh

🎭 They’re both weird like that. It’s like one of those sibling-type relationships where Masky would be the older one like: “omg Toby is SO annoying!!” and somebody would be like: “yeah lol he’s so obnoxious.” and Masky would be like “what the fuck did you just say? how dare you!?”

🧸Toby really enjoys playing the role of big brother to Sally.

🧸It brings him joy

🧸 It reminds him of Lyra in a way. She was a great big sis, and he wants to be a great big bro for Sally.

🧸 He was the little brother all his life (but he enjoyed it!) and now is his chance to be somebody’s big brother.

🧸 He can be kind of chaotic and silly, but he genuinely loves to play with her and have fun.
