being in a long distance relationship with moldy and all he wants is a hug because he's just been feeling homesick recently so you go suprise him and he cries because he's just so relived to have his girl in his arms
long distance relationship trope hold such a special place in my heart-- warnings: couple of swear words, not proofread under the cut !
Tumblr media
"i miss you." nick whispered as his eyes stared at the celling of the hotel room he was currently in, his phone resting against the side of his face. The team was currently in a road trip in madison, meaning he was even further from you than he already was in michigan.
you and nick had known each other since you were kid, but were never really friends until your senior year of high school. It was a weird start to your friendship considering nick had spent half the year in your hometown and the other in chicago. eventually, a year later, the boy asked you out when he came back from chicago. You were set to enter your second year of university and nick his first at michigan.
the distance was hard at first, considering the two of had barely even spent time together has a couple before he had to leave. but you made it work, calling each other whenever you could, always texting or sending snaps about your day to the other. you were all nick could talk about in michigan, it was constantly "y/n this, y/n that" and his teammates were growing tired of it.
Luca had been the one to reach out to you, asking if you would be down to come visit in michigan for a while. the two of you had spoken on a couple of occasions back home, followed each other on instagram, but other than knowing he played hockey and his brother was adam, you didn't know much about him. but once you and nick started dating, the two of you eventually started a friendship of your own.
"i miss you too, baby. we'll see each other soon, i promise." you whispered back. nick whined at your words, you had been saying those words for two months now and you two had yet to see each other.
"how soon?"
"i don't know, nicky. i've been really busy with school, but as soon as i can, i'll be driving down. i promise." you lied through your teeth. the truth was, you were heading down to michigan early the next morning, ready to welcome your boyfriend home when the team would fly back in the next morning.
luca had planned the whole thing out. he was gonna force your boyfriend over to his house, where you would be waiting in the living room after luca gave you the location of their spare key. everything was going to be perfect, nick would finally start talking about something other than you, and you'd both get to see each other again. it was a win for everyone.
only the next day when nick followed by a couple of the guys walked into luca's shared home with some of their teammates, the living room was empty. nick was set on just heading back to his dorm and sleeping their sweep off, but luca had forced him to come over, promising him a surprise.
"surprise my ass." nick mumbled as he started at the empty house. luca, along with the guys who were aware of what was supposed to happen, all looked at each other with wide eyes. the fantilli boy hadn't heard from you since you left that morning, but he didn't think much of it, telling himself you were busy driving. but now he was starting to get worried.
"uhm... gimme a minute, dude." the boy said before walking out of the house, calling your number right away.
"hi!" you answered, and right away luca could tell something was wrong.
"what's going on, y/n/n? where are you?"
"there was a slight problem at the border. but it's all good now, i'll be there in like twenty minutes."
"problem at the border?" luca asked, his voice filled with worry.
"it's nothing don't worry. i'm all good, entered the country legally. just a little more broken than before." you mumbled the last part, making luca let out a sigh.
"do i even wanna know?"
"no. listen, i'm almost there, okay? just keep nick busy, please."
"hurry."
"i will, i will!" you said before hanging up the phone and focusing back on the road, nervously biting your lip. when luca walked back into the house, all the guys were sitting on the couches, and their eyes immediately went to the fantilli boy.
"so, there was a slight... technical issue if you will. but, don't worry, your surprise is on the way." the defenseman explained with an awkward smile on his face.
"this better be good, bro." nick mumbled to himself before looking back at the TV screen, a random game playing. twenty minutes later on the dot, a loud knock echoed through the house, making all of the boys groan.
"moldy, you go!" luca urged, knowing it was you since you has just texted him you had arrived. the boy in question let out a groan at his request.
"it's your house, dude."
"it's your surprise so get up and open the damn door." he urged again, making nick roll his eyes. he looked down at his phone one last time, still not texts from you, and then got up with a sigh. nick wasn't sure what to expect when he opened the door, especially considering all the guys who were there were now standing behind him with smirks on their faces and their phones out. but he sure as hell didn't expect to be met with your sweet adorable face.
"hi, baby." you spoke with a wide grin as your eyes opened. nick's jaw dropped to the floor, his eyes lighting up as he briefly looked over at his best friend, who wore a proud smile. nick then waisted no time shoving himself into your arms, his face landing in your neck.
"hi." he whispered breathlessly, tickling your neck slightly making a giggle leave your mouth.
"surprise!"
"what the fuck." the boy gasped with a wide smile as the two of you pulled away, but kept your arms wrapped around the others.
"sorry 'm late. had a little problem at the border." you mumbled, nick pressing a deep kiss to your lips once you were done.
"you're here now, 'ts all that matters, baby."
"nicky, baby, are you cryin'?" you asked, giggling slightly as nick's head once again found it's way to your neck. he nodded slightly against your body as tears fell on your neck.
"'m so glad you're here, love."

It's finally there, time to post my fic for @bigbangharringrove (thank you mods for all your work for this event!)
I've been working so hard on this one... I even did some doodles of a couple of scenes from it (I might post them once I've posted all 6 chapters).
Art by @adelacreations (so very excited about this!!).
I want to thank @ihni for Olivia’s name, @spaceofentropy for noticing I'd forgotten about Will (oops!) and @akioukun for Cindy’s name

Steve gets the surprise of his life when one of his students gets picked up by her father. A man who Steve thought had died on the dirty floor of Starcourt Mall fifteen years ago.  Billy Hargrove is alive... and a dad. He runs a security company called HellGrove and he hunts monsters in the Upside Down for a living.  When Billy opens a portal into the Upside Down in Robin and Heather’s backyard, Steve follows because he wants answers.
Chapter 1 - Mr Steve isn't a boy
Steve is looking forward to the weekend after a long week teaching six-year-olds. Having the school trip to the zoo the same week as the talent show is not something he’s keen to do again in a hurry and he let his principal know as much.
He smiles as the last of the kids rush past him, waving him goodbye as they squeeze in the doorway before running down the hallway towards the exit, a spring in their step. He notices Olivia is still in the classroom and he walks over to her desk.
“Everything okay, Olivia?” he asks as she shoves the last of her drawings in her backpack. He reminds himself for the hundredth time to ask Robin where she found the Hawkins Lifeguard backpack because he didn’t know such an item existed and he was a lifeguard at Hawkins Community Pool for a few summers, both while he was in high school, and after, during summer breaks from university.
He knows he isn’t supposed to have favorites but Robin and Heather’s daughter is one of the brightest students he’d had in his ten years of teaching elementary school and she is extremely funny to boot, at a level that her classmates usually don’t get.
“Yep, Mr Steve, I’m spending the weekend with my dad so I want to show him all my work.”
“Your dad?” Steve asks, confused. As far as he knows, the little girl only has her two mums. Of course, Steve figures there has to have been a man involved in the process, he did pay some attention in biology class, but he never asked. Heather still scares him a little and he isn’t as close to Robin as they were fifteen years ago.
Nope, not thinking about it.
“Yes, he works a lot all over the country so I don’t see him very much.”
“Then I bet you’re very excited to see him!”
“I haven’t seen him since Christmas, he’s very busy but he rings me when he can,” Olivia says matter-of-factly as she closes her bag.
“That’s nice,” Steve says, smiling even though he thinks two months is a long time without seeing your child, not that he has any of his own.
“He lives in California, you know,” she adds as she starts walking to the door.
Steve follows a few steps behind, in a daze, her words unleashing the memories of loud metal, leather and cigarettes, and a blue Camaro.
Nope, not thinking about him.
He watches Olivia step out of the classroom and turns towards the mess he still has to clean before he can go home when the voice coming from the adjoining hallway stops him in his tracks.
“Hey, princess!”
It can’t be. But that voice… He’s heard it before, and those words…
Shaking like a leaf, Steve turns towards the open doorway and takes the three steps that separate him from the owner of the voice.
It isn’t possible. Billy Hargrove is dead, Steve reminds himself. He died at Starcourt Mall fifteen years ago, in what remains the scariest night of Steve’s life. This is just his brain playing tricks on him.
He steps into the hallway and freezes. The shock of seeing Billy Hargrove, alive and in the flesh, dims Olivia’s gleeful screams.
He looks… Steve feels all the air leave his lungs. Billy looks fucking good for a dead guy. His hair is cut short, some golden curls on the top still, he looks broader in the shoulders, his muscles more defined than they were in high school, not that Steve is looking, but the guy is wearing a t-shirt that looks painted on, okay?
He is also sporting a scar across his left cheek that looks not too recent but doesn’t make him look any less handsome, as well as some gnarly looking, but silver, older, scars on his arms and Steve knows there would be matching ones on his sides and in the middle of his chest, where the Mind Flayer had hit him with its tentacles.
“Pretty boy?” The shock is evident in Billy’s voice. He clearly didn’t expect to see Steve either.
“Daddy, you’re silly. Mr Steve isn’t a boy, he’s my teacher!”
Billy clears his throat and looks down at his daughter. “I can see that, princess.”
Billy Hargrove has a daughter!! What. The. Fuck?
“Billy. Long time no see.”
“Mr Steve, you know my daddy?” Olivia is looking between the two of them, trying to work out the connection.
Billy crouches so he is level with Olivia. “Mr Steve went to school with me and your moms, Livi.” He looks around and picks up her cardigan from her hook. “Is that all your stuff?”
“Yes, Daddy. I gotted all the stuff in my bag to show you.”
“That’s great, princess. Can you wait here a minute while I have a super quick chat with Mr Steve?”
She nods. “Can I play the word game on your phone?”
“Sure thing.”
Once Billy sorts Olivia with her game, he looks at Steve who is still hovering in the doorway and gestures towards the classroom. Steve nods and heads back inside, Billy a few steps behind him.
Steve stops when he reaches his desk, trying to compose himself. He hears Billy behind him and turns around.
“Robin never said—”
“You probably hav—”
They both stop at the same time and Steve knows he’s being awkward but he is not prepared for this. It’s not like he was friends with the guy back in high school, but Billy sacrificed his life to save them that day in1985 so for him to just show up like that is just… Steve doesn’t even know at this stage. He needs time to process.
“Listen, I have to run, haven’t seen Livi in way too long and I want to make the best of it but if you want to talk, or like, I dunno, have questions for me, here’s my card. Call me.”
Billy pulls out his wallet and hands Steve a business card with a tentative smile. Steve takes it, trying to wrap his head around what just happened. He nods as Billy puts his wallet away.
“See you around, pretty boy.” Billy doesn’t wait for a reply and he heads out.
Steve hears Olivia’s voice then the chatter moves further away as they walk towards the exit.
He finally looks down at the card in his hand. It’s dark gray, almost black, with the letters HG in white in the middle. He flips it to find the same monogram on the left then his eyes read over the words, taking them in.
HellGrove Security Consultants
William H. Hargrove
CEO & Head of Security
Followed by a phone number and an email address.
What.
The.
Fuck?
***
It’s after midnight and Steve is lying on his bed, flipping Billy’s card over and over, the dim light of his bedside lamp catching on something in the corner of the card. It’s embossed in the same color so he didn’t really notice until now. He brings the card closer so he can have a proper look and…
It’s a demogorgon flower head.
Motherfucker.
He grabs his phone to call Robin but then remembers that they’re not really best friends anymore, besides it’s late and she’s a parent now. Olivia did say she was spending the weekend with her dad but Steve isn’t sure what the arrangement is.
Billy Hargrove is alive and he’s a dad.
More questions than answers and it’s making Steve want to scream. So he sends Robin a message, figuring that she can choose to reply if she’s awake.
He hopes she does.
Steve: So I met Olivia’s dad at pick up today.
Immediately the reply box shows three littles dots. Steve holds his breath for a bit but has to give up after a minute. Either Robin is typing a novel-length explanation or she is not sure what to say.
Robin: Surprise? <cringe emoji>
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Steve yells in the empty room, his frustration at boiling point. His phone dings again and he looks to see what else Robin had to say.
Robin: Come over for lunch tomorrow. We’ll talk.
Steve sends a brief text saying he’ll be there then puts his phone down and switches to his laptop, giving into the temptation to visit HellGrove.com.
The website mentions the usual stuff: the various services offered (most of which mean little to Steve), reviews from clients as well a page about the company and its staff. Steve keeps looking on the main page for the freaky flower and finally finds it, hidden on the Reviews page when his cursor hovers in the bottom left corner and HOLY FUCK!
There’s no photos of the Upside Down but the hand drawn illustration in the banner is enough for Steve to suppress a shudder at the memories. There are a handful of anonymous written accounts by survivors who were rescued by HellGrove and reports about unsuccessful rescue missions. The wording is vague but, to someone who’s experienced it first hand, it’s clear they’re talking about the Upside Down.
Steve goes back to the home page and clicks on Staff. His eyes immediately focus on the black and white photo of Billy. It must have been taken some time ago because the scar on his face is missing.
The short bio tells Steve that William H. Hargrove joined the Marines at eighteen and left after six years to start his own security company. Steve scrolls down and he is surprised and a bit shocked to find out that Max, Lucas, Will and El also work for Billy. And some guy named Argyle, who apparently has no last name.
He vaguely remembers Dustin mentioning that Lucas got a job in California after college and he knew El and the Byers already lived over there. He feels bad when he realizes he hasn’t thought about Max in years. He ponders reaching out to Dustin but that would open a can of worms and even more questions.
He closes his laptop and dumps it on the other side of the bed and settles on his side to go to sleep.
The feeling of an arm around his waist pulls Steve from his slumber. He gasps when he realizes there’s a (warm!) body behind him, the owner of which is dragging him closer and dropping a string of kisses on his shoulder.
Steve can’t remember the last time he shared a bed with someone, especially while being naked, though he is sure he was wearing pajamas earlier. The kisses morph into a bite and a needy moan escapes his lips when he feels teeth nibbling on his skin. The embrace around his middle tightens and Steve’s hand drifts to the one holding him, fingers locking with the ones of the man behind him. Because it is a man, of that Steve has no doubt.
He looks down, noticing the silver scars in the soft glow of his bedside lamp. “Billy?”
“Sorry I woke you up, pretty boy,” comes the hushed whisper from behind him.
“No, it’s okay. What are yo—” The words die in his throat when Billy moves their linked hands south. Steve can feel Billy harden against his ass as their hands start stroking his dick and he shivers.
Billy gives a light squeeze and Steve rolls his hips, arching his back and groaning when Billy bites down on the crook of his neck.
“Oh god… Billy…”
Steve lets go of Billy’s hand to bury his fingers in golden curls instead. It’s been so long since the hand touching him wasn’t his that the pleasure of it is blinding in its intensity.
He moans loudly, earning himself another bite from Billy.
“Shhhh, pretty boy, not so loud, you’ll wake the baby.”
Steve sinks his teeth in his bottom lip in an effort to be quiet, so he doesn’t wake this baby he doesn’t remember having. His entire focus is on not making noise while Billy does unspeakable things to his body. He shudders; he’s so close already…
Billy notices, because of course he does, he always did notice things, and his hand starts moving faster, his closed fist squeezing the head of Steve’s cock on the upstroke. It’s slick, it’s heady, and too soon, Steve can feel his orgasm rushing at him.
He comes with a shout he can’t silence, but when he opens his eyes again, he’s alone in his bed. It’s his hand around his cock, his mess in his pajama pants.
Chest still heaving, he quickly cleans up using his pants and gets back into bed wearing a clean pair, reeling from the shocked realization that he wants Billy Hargrove. And a baby.
What the fuck?

Strange Sleepy Swap
I absolutely hate family vacations. Don't get me wrong, the vacation part is pretty nice. The fact that I'm with my family is the problem. Each year we go to some new crazy location, which would've been fun if they didn't embarrass me every single moment. Normally it's some dumb place within the states, but this time we're going out of the country. I turned 18 a few months ago and just graduated high school, so my parents thought it was a special occasion. Oh, it's going to be special all right - it's the last time I'll be forced to go with them! As soon as the summer's over, I'm moving across the state for college, and hopefully I'll never see them again! But for now, my parents set their sights on Brazil. I guess that's where they went on their first trip together. But I'd rather go to much cooler countries like France or Japan.
Tumblr media
So, arriving in Brazil, we moved through the airport - me, my dad, mom, and little sister. There were so many hot guys and good looking people in general walking through the halls. I wanted to flirt with them so badly! But my parents would probably call the police if I went out of their sight for a single minute. We took a taxi and arrived at our hotel room. I found out that there were only 2 bedrooms - one for my parents and one for my little sister and I. I can't even jerk off in the privacy of my own bedroom anymore! I unpacked my stuff anyway, just as my mom walked into the room.
"Are you hungry, kids?" I hate being called a kid. I'm 18! Nobody seems to understand that I'm a legal adult now!
"Yeah," we both replied.
"How about we visit some of the local places to see some culture?"
"Lame," I said.
"Jackson, YOU are going to go with us and YOU are going to like it!" My mom ordered.
"Fine."
Outside the hotel, my dad arrived with our rental car. We drove through the streets but ended up parking in what looked like the poor part of town. I thought we were going to a nice restaurant?
"What the hell are we doing here?"
"Language, Jackson! This is what I was talking about! What better way to see the local culture than to visit the local marketplace?"
We got out and I looked around. The roads and buildings were all run down and there was a gross scent in the air. The marketplace was thriving anyway, but the people there were all ugly. No hot guys! We bought some kind of pastry, eating it at a nearby table. It tasted awful! When we finished, we all split up to explore the rest of the marketplace; I didn't even bother to look at anything else because I knew I wouldn't find anything good.
I walked down the road and saw an open garage-like area with some people inside. Outside sleeping in a chair, was an obese guy with a belly so big, it hung right out of his blue tank top, and covered his knees entirely! His belly button was so big, you could probably fit an entire fist in there! He was probably the grossest human being I've ever seen in my life! It was guys like that that made me feel at least somewhat grateful that I'm so young and skinny.
Tumblr media
I walked right past and suddenly he grabbed my arm. His eyes stayed closed though, so I guess it was some form of sleepwalking. I was disgusted anyway, so I jumped backwards and shouted at him.
"Get away from me you disgusting slob!"
He stayed asleep even after that. But I definitely needed to wash my arm now. Who knows what kind of diseases he was carrying? I started walking towards a restroom, when I felt like I was being watched. I looked to my right to see a creepy old lady staring at me from between two buildings. She was so hideous, she looked like a witch! I ran inside and quickly washed my hands. I walked out of the bathroom, only to come face to face with the witch lady.
"Ahh! Who are you?"
"You don't like your family do you?" Is she trying to relate to me or something? Gross! I answered her anyway.
"Yeah. So?"
"Would you do anything to get away from them?"
"Yeah I guess. What are you getting at?"
"Nothing. Nothing you need to worry about." Anger rushed to my brain and out my mouth.
"Nothing? You can't just ask about my problems then offer to do nothing! Get out of my face you old hag!" Her smile changed to an angry frown but then back to a smile.
"Very well, you want me to do something? I will do something." She took a piece or chalk and started drawing a circle around my feet.
"What? Are you using your witchy magic or something?" I said, sarcastically. She ignored me and continued. With a full circle of purple chalk around me, she put her hands together and started mumbling something. The circle below me was glowing! Not just that, but I was actually sinking into the ground! Is this some kind of portal? If I could teleport to my college campus that would be great! Even better, a gay bar or somewhere I can freely be myself!
I sunk lower and lower until it was just my head and neck sticking out.  I looked up at her and said "Thank you." For some reason, instead of a friendly smile, it seemed like an evil smirk. As my eyes were about to fully submerge into the ground, I closed them.
When I opened them back up, I was sitting down inside, but was disappointed that the same bad smell was in the air. Looks like she teleported me, but it wasn't very far. I knew that witch was full of shit. I guess I should find my family again; it had been an hour and they were probably worried. I tried to get up but something was wrong. I looked down to see what was keeping me grounded when my heart started thumping extremely fast. Gone was my slim body, which was replaced with an overly large hanging gut. What the fuck happened to me? Is it touching my knees? Wait, I recognize that gut! It can't be! I've turned into that one gross slob! Was this that witch's way of getting revenge?
Tumblr media
I didn’t want to, but I felt compelled to touch the gut. Unlike before, he was completely shirtless so the massive hanging blubber was visible for everyone to see. I looked at my huge sausage fingers, and poked it. It jiggled. I took my whole hand and pressed into the flab over and over. My whole belly rippled like a body of water. It was actually kinda fun and felt nice. No, what am I doing? I gotta get my body back.
Trying to get up was the hardest part. I had to summon all my strength in order to force the weight of the gut off of me, and plant my feet on the ground as hard as I possibly could. When I got my ass out of the chair, gravity took hold of my gut and I nearly fell over. Slowly, I got myself back onto my feet.
Tumblr media
I couldn't even see the bottom of my gut but I could feel it touching my knees! I grabbed the bottom of it and shook. I stuck my hands between the overhang and my waist, and felt a river of sweat hiding underneath. I swear if I ever get back to my body, I'll never insult any fat guy ever again!
Tumblr media
I tried walking back to the same bathroom I was just at, but it was more like a waddle. The gut was swinging back and forth, slapping my knees every time, pain with each slap. My back was killing me too. My entire body ached! How did this guy let himself go this far? I squeezed through the door and saw my face for the first time in the mirror. I had gray hair and silver stubble. I was an old man! My whole face was huge and I had a double chin. This can't be happening. I'm only 18!
I walked out of the bathroom just as my family strolled by. Finally! For once I was happy to see them! It'll be weird but I'm sure they can help me get back to normal somehow. I waddled over, approaching them, and freaked out when I saw…me! There was a college aged guy who looked exactly like me alongside them. Is he the owner of the body I'm in? He must be!
"Hey it's you! You have my body!" Everyone turned around, surprised to see me. My parents narrowed their eyes.
"What? What's this about bodies? Who are you?" My dad demanded.
"Mom, Dad, its me, Jackson! There was a witch that swapped our bodies! That guy isn't me!"
"What? Who do you think you are, talking to my son that way? Get out of here creep!" The guy in my body pretended to be just as confused as they were. That liar! Instead of taking any action, they just walked away, shaking me off as just some homeless creep. They probably assumed I wouldn't be able to catch up to them…and they were right. I felt exhausted already, but managed to shout one last sentence at them.
"Wait c-come back! I'm sorry! I'll never complain about vacations again!" The guy who stole my body turned his head around and gave an evil smirk at me. I looked to my right to see the witch again.
"You wanted to be away from them and your wish was granted. Here, you might want this." She tossed me what looked like a shirt, but it was huge. "Paolo gets especially lazy sometimes and doesn't feel like putting on a shirt. You'll get used to it, but here's one just in case."
I wanted to argue but I couldn’t. I just…gave up. I was feeling tired so I slipped the shirt on, pulling it as far over my belly as I could, and waddled over back to the garage area. My knees were killing me at this point so I stood next to the chair I was sitting on earlier, rotated myself, and firmly plopped onto it. All the pain went away and I started feeling drowsy. I rolled up the shirt a little and stuck my finger inside my belly button, playing with it. Am I getting hard? I shouldn't be so turned on but I am! I then pressed my belly in, seeing and feeling the ripples until I finally fell asleep. Haha…Maybe this won't be so bad afterall. I'm finally away from my family, and I can just sleep the day away…everyday…

Interview with Joker Out's member Nace Jordan, from Slovenian magazine Kranjčanka!
"Enriched by a special experience"
We caught up with Nace Jordan, bassist of Joker Out, a week or so after the Eurovision show in Liverpool, a few days after the show in Zagreb, and just before they left for the show in Dublin, where they sold out their first show in twenty minutes… On stage, they kept company to the Irish performers.
The fact that this guy, who is otherwise from Mlaka (T.N: small village near Kranj), is fully booked, can be confirmed by telling you that he moved into a new flat in March of this year - he has been living in Ljubljana for some time now - but he has spent less than 14 days there until it was time for the Eurovision Song Contest. He still returns to Kranj at least twice a week to visit his mother and to stay true to himself: he decided to get a personal trainer a while ago, so now he also goes to Kranj to train there.
Nace Jordan came into contact with music in primary school. He first played the guitar, which he soon replaced with the bass guitar. "Around the fifth grade of primary school (T.N: 10-11 years old), I became interested in instruments and a classmate and I decided to start a music group. He bought a drum set and I bought an electric guitar. Then we quickly saw that there were no bass players. So I sold the guitar and bought a bass guitar," he explains. He has no formal musical training, but says he has been lucky that wherever he has gone in life, there has always been a good mentor who has been able to guide him.
I: How long did this primary school group last?
N: In those days it was a well-known Kranj band called Success. We did a lot of gigs. It's interesting that all the band members from that time are now living off music. They are, for example, the guitarist Nejc Ušlakar, Tajda Jovanović - also from Mlaka - who is a top classical singer and used to sing at the famous Scala in Milan; if I am not mistaken, she is now teaching classical singing in Dubai. We just created an environment for ourselves and stayed in music. The drummer and keyboard player, Aljaž Bernik and Miha Petrovič, have, for example, a very successful wedding band, called Pop Deluxe.
I: What came after primary school? (* (T.N: In Slovenia, primary school lasts for 9 years, from ages 6-15)
N: I enrolled at the then Iskra University, majoring in mechatronics, but just before graduation I started working - actually playing on a cruiser. By some chance I found myself at a jam session open mind in Kranj, where the Kranj drummer Rok Rozman was looking for someone to go on the boat with him. He was impressed with me, I auditioned and of course they weren't very happy at home when I confronted them with the fact that I was going to take my final exams the following year. I was just 18 years old.
I: Was that a cruise ship?
N: Yes. We were travelling in the Baltic Ocean. I remember that we started in Germany, in a port north of Hamburg, then continued on to Gdansk, St Petersburg and to the Scandinavian countries.
l: That was probably the only time you've been on a cruise ship of that kind, a tourist cruise ship?
I've had a lot of people ask me if I would ever go on holiday on a cruise ship. Probably not. But I would go and have another look at the one I played on.
I: When you came back to Slovenia, did you graduate from high school? N: I didn't and I still regret it a little bit. When I came back from the ship, I started working with the singer Katarina Malo. During that time, I was also taken under the wing of two musicians from Primorska (T.N.: a region in the South-Western part of Slovenia) - that's what I mentioned: I found myself somewhere and then a mentor came along. I learned a lot from them. They were David Morgan and Denis Beganovic - Kiki. The first one is a top jazz drummer from the coastal area, he organises a lot of stuff, and he also plays with Avtomobili (T.N. slovenian band), I think he even played with Plestenjak (T.N. Jan Plestenjak, a famous Slovenian pop singer) at one point. Whereas Kiki is a multi-instrumentalist. He's an extraordinary talent. He has worked with Kanzyani and other famous DJs and musicians from abroad. He has made a lot of music, and he also led the Big Band from the coastal region. That was a really nice period for me. I even moved to the coastal region for a short period.
I: Why music, why not football?
N: Certainly not football (laughs). It's the sport I'm least talented in, or rather, all ball sports fall into that context - be it table tennis or football; and, even though my surname is Jordan, I'm the worst basketball player in the world (laughs). Just two days ago, I met my first grade teacher, and of course the topic of music and Eurovision came up. She told me that she knew even back then that school was not for me, but that I would definitely do something creative in my life. It brought back memories of how bored I was at school and how I would rather draw under my desk than listen, even though I was not a bad student.
I: You haven't been a member of Joker Out for long.
N: Since last year. Martin Jurkovič, the original bass player, felt at some point that music was not his main path. He is also an extremely talented programmer and is studying in that direction. He wants to study abroad and decided to finish that chapter. I knew the lead singer of the band, Bojan, from some mutual friend groups before, and the guys were looking for someone who was around their age, professional, good at what they do, and they thought of me. And Martin was in favour of me coming into the group instead of him.
I: And did you imagine that the band would continue the way it did?
N: From the beginning I went into the band with a bit of hesitation. I even suggested a test period. I had learnt that there has to be chemistry between the members. And if we didn't get along with each other the way we do, we wouldn't have performed on the Eurovision stage. We would have had a fight otherwise.
I: Do you spend a lot of time together?
N: First there were the Eurovision showcase concerts, and now there is the summer concert tour in Slovenia. We also have quite a few problems, because we get a lot of calls from abroad. It's logistically difficult, so we're looking for a solution to link some of the concerts to the tour. After the Eurovision Song Contest, we really started to get noticed abroad.
I: Was this your first Eurovision Song Contest?
N: Yes. But I have been to EMA (slovenian national selection for ESC) several times before.
I: Was it as you imagined it would be?
N: Even better. I can say that everyone who has been through this kind of experience has told us that it will be really tough: there will be a lot of work, but that we should also expect crazy parties. But in the end, it was much less exhausting than we expected. In fact, we had such a busy schedule beforehand that Eurovision itself was almost easier for us afterwards. We were practically in the Arena for five days, the rest was socialising, interviews and other commitments. In principle, we like that.
I: You seemed to be well received.
N: We were lucky enough to have connected with practically all the performers. We were always in a good mood, which was seen and felt both in the performances and in the interviews, during the statements. We came home really enriched by a special experience. And it was really nice to see how the people at home supported us. After the first semi-final, we got some footage of how they were watching us and we were just amazed how behind Bežigrad (Ljubljana district), let's say, they watched the first semi-final show in an organised way. The energy was crazy, like at a match.
I: What about Liverpool? Was there any time to "play tourists"?
N: During Eurovision, not really. We were in Liverpool before, because we were shooting a video. I think it was after Barcelona, and we did a lot of walking around the city then. For those who like the Beatles, Liverpool is great.
I : How did it come about that you went to Eurovision in the first place?
N : When I came into the group, the guys and I immediately started talking about whether we would go to this year's EMAs. We decided to go. We knew we would definitely be one of the favourites because we have a really big and extremely loyal audience. Well, then the EMA didn't happen. The jury decided to make their own choice, from the five entries who had the most songs of the week during that year. And I think only two of us ended up applying. There was no EMA, and they sent us to Liverpool.
I: You mostly use Slovenian in your songs.
N: Of course. We have a few songs in English, but we mostly sing in Slovenian. We were talking about how we would work going forwards, and we agreed not to bother with the language. We are proud of our Slovenian language. It's really something beautiful when you see an adult Peruvian man or a five-year-old Spanish girl singing our song in Slovenian. In that moment you understand the athletes and you are proud to be Slovenian.
I: How is it on the street? Do people recognise you? You often hear: is that the bass player of Joker Out?
N: Yes, quite. Most of the time it's people who say something nice to you, or want a selfie. Of course, there are also some "admirers" who stick gum all over my car or leave messages. There's a good side and a bad side to being a public personality. Sometimes it requires of you to spend three hours taking photos - but if you enjoy doing something, that's not a problem either.
I: Do you think that it is actually the fact that you get along well in a group that "pulls" in the audience?
N: The energy between us is definitely something that is contagious. I don't know if it's what makes the audience really like us, but it's something that puts even someone who is in a bad mood in a good mood.

Eddie remembers the day his friend Robin told him he simply had to meet her new neighbor. It's seared into his permanent memory.
Initially, he felt that it was a setup, and he told her in no uncertain terms he wasn't ready to meet her neighbor and that he could smell this thinly veiled setup for what it was.
Robin nodded and reassured him that while yes she was his type, her neighbor was cool and someone Eddie would genuinely enjoy talking to. So in late July, while Corroded Coffin took a little break before putting the finishing touches on their latest album, Eddie ventured to Brooklyn and a small rooftop terrace where an overeager Robin introduced Eddie to you.
Eddie could have started preparing ten years ago, and it still wouldn't have readied him for you. It felt like he'd known you for a lifetime, several even, if you believed in that sort of thing. You were smart, funny, and what his uncle would have called a real livewire. When Robin told you that they were almost out of the dessert you made, Eddie found himself bounding down the stairs to help you bring more.
The two of you sat and talked until the wee hours of the morning, and when the sun began rising over the city, Eddie walked you back to your front door with a promise to see you later.
He was in town for a week and spent as much of it as possible with you. He went out of his way to make you laugh, the sound intoxicating him to the point where he would do anything to hear it again. He was blown away by your music knowledge, a byproduct of working at a record store to earn money through college. Eddie couldn't help but flirt, and it shocked him when you seemed to flirt back.
The last night he was in town, Eddie was in a small bar with Robin and a few other friends, you included, before he headed to the airport for a red eye that would take him back to the city of angels. He was sitting in a booth beside you, where the feel of your thigh right next to his made his skin tingle and his blood boil. All night, glances and lingering touches made Eddie feel like he was back in high school again. His bravado returned when he asked you to follow him outside when his cab arrived. Robin watched the whole scene with a smug smile on her face.
Once outside, you asked Eddie if everything was okay but were silenced when two of the softest lips you'd ever felt pressed against yours. Eddie's ring-laden hand reached to cup your cheek, his thumb sweeping over your cheekbone as your hands eventually found purchase in his hair. When he pulled back, he tried to read your face for a reaction. He was prepared for you to run around inside or yell at him; he was not ready for a punch to his shoulder.
"Asshole, you kiss me like that right before you head across the country? You wasted so much time!" When Eddie climbs into the backseat of the cab, he's holding your phone number and wearing a stupid grin that reaches ear to ear, counting down the minutes until he can call you.
You talk almost every single day. Sometimes, the conversations are short; sometimes, you talk for hours. He spends the in-between wondering how you're doing and if your job treats you okay. And at night, when it's just him, he wonders what your body would feel like under him. Does your skin feel as soft as it looks? What would you taste like under his tongue?
In December, when he travels back to Brooklyn for the holidays, he takes a taxi straight to your apartment. You greet him with open arms and a warm smile, and that night, he discovers the answers to the questions he's spent months asking himself.
This goes on for almost a year. He comes to see you when he can, spending as much time in your company as possible before he has to leave again. One spring evening, as you're wrapped in each other's arms, he poses the possibility of more. You kiss him gently while shaking your head no.
"I like what we have," you counter, turning your body to sit in his naked lap. When you lean in to kiss him, Eddie decides he can accept that as an answer for now.
When July comes around, he comes out for a whole month. Corroded Coffin begins their tour prep on August 1st for their first international tour. The plans were to travel for a year, but if the ticket sales were good, it could extend the time. He was excited, thrilled to see the world he had been aching to see. But then he would think of being unable to see you, and it made him want to walk away from the whole thing.
Since you had a whole month together, Eddie let you plan out things to do. There were trips to museums and galleries and day trips out of the city. Nights were spent with friends at boozy dive bars that led to whiskey-flavored kisses which led to even longer nights, bringing each other to ecstasy again and again.
It was three days before he had to leave. You'd spent the day with Robin and Vicki before returning to yours for a homemade dinner. After you'd finished, you had asked Eddie if there was anything special he wanted to do the following day. While you rambled, Eddie wiped his mouth with his napkin and stood from his seat. You stopped talking when you felt him take your hand in his, letting him lead you to your bedroom.
You both had yet to talk about what would happen once Eddie was on the road. You gave it no thought as he laid you on your bed and devoured you like a last meal. You let him love you like he would never get a chance to do so again.
The hour is late, just after midnight. He's sitting on your stoop smoking a cigarette. He left you sleeping, no doubt exhausted. He's shirtless and wearing pajama pants, the summer breeze chilling him slightly. It always surprises him how quiet your street is at night, like there's no one else in the world.
He turns when he hears the turn of your doorknob. He takes a long drag as you take a seat next to him. You're wearing a sleeveless black maxi dress, the hem fluttering around your ankles. He looks straight ahead as you rest your head on his shoulder.
"It's nice out," you say. Eddie hums in agreement. He feels your gaze on him, and after he puts out his cigarette, he turns to face you. You raise an eyebrow, your silent signal for him to tell you what is on his mind.
"Come with us," he says quietly. You sigh before lacing your fingers into his hand.
"I can't"
"You said before you could do your job anywhere," he says, trying not to sound like a petulant child. You take his hand, kissing the tattooed knuckles before squeezing it tight.
"The last guy did a number on me," you say quietly, not looking at Eddie. He's looking at you, though. He remembers you telling him about this guy, the one you had dated after college. His brown eyes watch every emotion you try to hide dance across your face. "I don't think I'm ready to be loved the way you want to love me."
"That only gives us two days, then," he counters. You chuckle lightly. as you place your head back on his shoulder.
"So pessimistic. But that is one way of looking at it," you reply as Eddie lays his head on top of yours.
"How do you see it?" he asks. You lift your head and look Eddie in the eye. You breathe deeply, trying to commit as much as possible to memory. The warmth of his skin, the smell of his cigarettes, the way the moon makes his eyes seem to glow.
"We have two whole days together to do whatever the hell we want," you say confidently, and Eddie can't help but lean in and kiss you. This time, you're the one who stands first. You don't say a word; simply reach out a hand to him, an invitation. Eddie accepts, letting you lead him back to your bed, where you spend the next two days soaking in each other.
Tumblr media
Eddie sits quietly on the plane, inwardly thrilled that he was granted a window seat. He reaches into his carry-on for his book, a parting gift from you, when he finds it. It's an envelope with your handwriting clear as day. He waits until they're at cruising altitude before he opens it.
When the woman beside him asks if he's alright, he plays it off as allergies. She knows better; he knows that she does. He rereads your words, telling him to enjoy everything on tour. That if he happens to meet someone, you won't be mad. It's the ending he reads over and over again.
"I hope that if we're ever lucky enough to meet again, I'll be ready to be loved by you. Until then, I wish you all the happiness your heart and hand can hold. Go knock 'em dead, rockstar."
Eddie sighs, placing the letter back in its envelope. He shoves the book back in his bag and reaches for the notebook and pen, which are always nearby. It's littered with DND ideas, song lyrics, and thoughts. He opens a blank page and clicks his pen as he conjures up an image of you in his mind's eye.
He begins to write.

Hellfire's Newest Member (Eddie x fem!Reader) Pt. 1
Tumblr media
Quick note: i got impatient and posted this lol. This has been on my wattpad for months and I wanted to post it here lol. This is just part 1, I've got like 16 more chapters I'll be posting soon! Lmk what y'all think
Warnings/summary: some family trauma, nothing too spicy yet, this is just backstory (and Dustin) so we can get into the good stuff next time

---
You stepped into your new room in Hawkins, Indiana, a town which seemed to have just about as much personality as the bottom of a shoe. Glancing around the empty, but spacious room, you thought about how many rooms just like this you had lived in before. With your dad working some secret government job, you moved around the country a lot and hardly ever had time to really settle into a space or get to know the people around you.
It felt like just when you started to get used to a routine somewhere new - finally started decorating your room and hanging out with people outside of school - your dad would be relocated and you'd have to go with him. Your mom wasn't in the picture anymore, she had been gone since you were 13, and the only explanation your dad every gave you was that "she didn't want to live this type of life anymore, and we weren't enough to keep her around," the last bit always stung when you thought about it.
Dad was quiet after mom left, and he didn't really seem to care what you did with your time as long as your grades came back fine and you weren't gone for an unreasonable amount of time. Plus, working most nights meant he hardly had the schedule to keep tabs on where you were.
Nevertheless, a fresh start in Hawkins felt necessary. The last place you had been was LA, which was waaaay too big and waaay to noisy for your taste. That was another thing that set you apart from people your age: you weren't really into parties and shopping and sports like most high school seniors were. How could you be? You were never anywhere long enough to play anything or get invited anywhere. You kept yourself busy with books, movies, music, and most of all Dungeons and Dragons.
The game which was being shunned as a satanic cult was your escape from reality and the only constant thing in your life. Yes, it was hard to find a group to play an entire campaign with, but you managed, plus your favorite part was creating characters and imagining fantastic new worlds you'd love to explore. In fact, a good amount of the boxes you brought with you, which contained everything you owned, were full of binders, manuals, books, and figurines you had collected in your years of playing.
You started unpacking, throwing your childhood stuffed animals on your queen sized bed in the corner of your room, and stacking your plentiful collection of books and movies on the floor and on your desk. You were about to pull out your favorite books - The Lord of the Rings trilogy - when your dad knocked on your door
"Hey y/n, sorry to interrupt...uh I just got called into work so I'm gonna head out, but I'll leave some money on the counter for you"
"Oh okay, thanks. Do you know when you'll be ba-"
Before you could finish, he was out the door. You shook your head and returned to your packing, hearing your dad's car drive away outside.
-----
By the time you finished packing it was already dark outside and you could hear faint talking outside your window. You walked over, pulling your curtains aside, and looked to your neighbors house to see two young boys, probably around 14-15, standing in between your house and the next. One of them was wearing a hat that said "thinking cap" on it, which you thought was funny, and the other was taller and had wavy black hair. They seemed to be arguing about something
"No Dustin, Lucas said he has his championship game tomorrow and there's no way he's gonna make it to Hellfire"
"Eddie is gonna KILL us man!"
They we're talking pretty loud, and you were pretty tired and didn't want to hear their bickering while you tried to fall asleep, so you opened your window
"Hey, idiots!"
The boys shut up instantly and looked over to you
"Listen, I really don't mean to interrupt, but I don't know who you are or who this Eddie guy is, but your bickering over him is really getting in the way of my sleep and I have had a very, very, long day of unpacking"
They looked at you, wide-eyed, before the shorter boy in the hat moved closer to your window
"Oh um, sorry, our bad. And I'm Dustin by the way, I live just there," he gestured to the house next to yours, "and this is my friend Mike"
"Pleasure, I'm y/n," you didn't want to be mean to them, so you figured you'd go ahead and introduce yourself, "well I'm gonna go get that sleep I mentioned, and please just keep your voices down."
"Aye aye, captain," Dustin said with a salute before he and Mike walked away from your window towards his house.
You closed your window, took off your sweaty clothes, turned off your light, and crawled into your new bed, nervous for your first day at school tomorrow.

Dainohara Forest Park obstacle course adventure
I've been wanting to do an obstacle course from the time I got back to Japan. today I did one
Tumblr media
there are 12 stations, but one was removed and one was just "pat yourself on the back for finishing" basically, so there's 10 stations of note
Tumblr media
doing this when you are almost 30 is one of the hardest things a person can do, in my opinion. looking at this first structure from the beginning, I felt like I was looking death in the face. but it would be really pathetic if I couldn't do it, so I held onto the ropes like they were my only hope and successfully crossed the two bridges. COMPLETE
Tumblr media
this one, you're supposed to climb a rope and ring the bell at the top. there are 3 difficulty levels. I chose the easiest, but despite many attempts, I couldn't even begin climbing the rope because those wood thingies don't stay put so you can't find any footing on them. by the way, we did no rope climbing in gym class at my school. this is why I am such a weak, miserable excuse for a human being. FAILURE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this one, you climb up then cross a bridge with varying levels of height and wiggliness. even just climbing up the structure was hard, but I did complete this one! sorry to the other people walking below me on the trail who had to hear my self-encouragement and shouts of surprise/fear. COMPLETE
in the background is the other obstacle which was just a balance beam. now, come on, I can do that at least. COMPLETE
Tumblr media
oh no. oh god
I could climb up the little poles, feeling very much like a cool ninja, but unfortunately I couldn't get onto the slanted log thing. it was hard to fully step onto it. I even took off my backpack but it was just impossible. I think it was partially a mental issue. if I jumped onto it, I would have been able to get on, but I was too unsure of my footing and the "safety net" as you can see is a bunch of jagged rocks. I tried to start from the halfway point, but ultimately everything was just so wiggly. FAILURE
Tumblr media
slide!
this looked steep but really unassuming, but you go REALLY fast on it. "wind blowing through your hair" fast. I got surprised, so I grabbed the edges and slowed myself down the first time (I was wearing my day labourer gloves for a better grip). I was then unsatisfied with calling it a completed obstacle, so I tried it again. instinct made me grab the edges before I flew off the end, but I think this counts. it was fun to go down such a good slide after so many years. COMPLETE
Tumblr media
3 levels of netting to clamber over. I did make it across, but I'm unsatisfied with my technique. I was carrying all my stuff, so I was afraid of change coming out of my pockets. I'm familiar with this kind of thing from when I was a kid, albeit it was at indoor adventure play places where we had ball pits and foam under it and not just mud. COMPLETE
Tumblr media
Tarzan rope. I was confident I could do this. I was wrong. I tried many times to find some footing on the rope, which was a bit too high for me, until I decided to try jumping and straddling it with my legs. I made it about half a second before sliding off. clearly I need to work on my upper body strength. FAILURE
Tumblr media
the last obstacle, more of just a victory lap, a roller slide. it stalled a couple times but I was eventually able to get some speed on it, and it was really fun. COMPLETE
so, 6/10 completed. I think not bad for my first obstacle course, but I recognise I need a lot of practice. it was a lot of fun though! it may feel silly, but if you're in Japan, please do an obstacle course. it's a fulfilling experience and now I want to try more!
in the provincial park there's a gruelling one that takes an hour to complete. people from all over the country come to try it. I will consider that a final boss. this summer, let's exercise more!!!

Could we have a Jotaro confessing to his Fem! reader friend? It can be post-part3. I wanna know how he confess to her ;3
Prom || Jotaro Kujo x Reader
cw: female reader, fluff, light swearing/flashback, unedited
summary: (post-SDC) jotaro uses this chance to ask out his long time friend and crush
a/n: I've just had the last official day of year 11 and wow the leavers assembly was bittersweet 💔
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Final exams were over! All your and your peers' hard work had paid off, so now all you have to worry about is the prom next week.
That should be fine, right? Wrong.
There is an immense pressure to go with someone, as a date, to the prom and time was running out. To make the situation worse, your friends were the ones who put that idea in your head. Of course, she already had her boyfriend so she didn't exactly see the struggle of not having anyone to go with romantically and you didn't exactly feel like third-wheeling. This special night was supposed to be fun for everyone.
You had a few decent guy friends, some of which were just going to go with a friend or by themselves thanks to the double standards, but if you were to choose... you'd go with Jotaro Kujo.
Here's the thing: you have no idea how he truly feels about you, and if he even wanted to go to the prom. Avoiding your feelings, you decided to just not say anything and hope your friend doesn't berate you for not bringing anyone.
Walking to your locker, you clutched your belongings to your stomach and let out a breath you didn't realise you were holding. You changed your shoes, put away the materials you didn't need, and tied your jacket around your waist. It was cold earlier, but now it's fairly warm and you didn't want to become sweaty as you walk home.
"Hey, (Y/N)." A rough voice called out from behind you as you started walking in the direction of your home. You turned around, eyes meeting with none other than Jotaro himself.
"Hey, Jotaro." You offered a subtle smile in return as you kept walking. He easily matched your pace considering how much taller he was.
The two of you have only been friends since the beginning of the first year of high school when you were put in nearly every class and sat next to each other for a majority of them.
You remember finding yourself low-key missing his presence in the time he spent away doing who knows what at the beginning of this year. He came back covered in bandages, but he talked to you as if he never left so you decided against asking about it.
"Can I talk to you about something?" Oh look, your heart rate has never been quicker. Not even when your PE teacher forced the entire class to do cross country in the intense snow while only wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
"Uh, sure." You attempted to sound relaxed, but your voice did not translate that well.
"I'm gonna get straight to the point, I've liked you for a while and I would like to take you to the prom. Maybe after we can go get food and chill out, see where the night takes us... I guess. If that's what you want, I don't mind." He said it a little too fast, but you heard every single word.
Holy shit.
One thing's for sure: you weren't expecting that. You didn't catch it because you were both faced away from each other, and the sunset reflecting in the house windows had the both of you slightly squinting, but he stole quite a few nervous glances at your glowing appearance. He thought the sunset just made you look somehow even prettier.
During his time in Egypt, he found himself thinking about you quite a lot, typically in the quieter moments whether that be on a breezy balcony or half falling asleep in the back of a car...only to be interrupted by Joseph's reckless driving.
He had a lot of alone time with Polnareff, so naturally the topic of potential love interests came up.
----
"What about you, Jotaro?"
"What about me?"
"Well, I talk quite frequently about girls... but what about you? Do you have a girlfriend in your life? A crush, maybe?"
The ever-stoic delinquent slowly looked over to meet the prying eyes of the swordsman and gave him an unreadable expression.
"I'm being serious!" Polnareff exclaimed, "I'm not going to tease or anything, I'm just curious! I swear!"
"Good grief." Jotaro shook his head in disbelief, not being able to get you out of his head.
"Please! I won't tell Mr. Joestar, you have my word!" He continued to plead as the teenager took his offer into consideration.
"Tell anyone and I'll kill you myself." He began before Polnareff let out a quiet cheer. "There's a girl in pretty much every class... had a crush on her for ages. To be honest, I can't stop thinking about her. This trip certainly doesn't help. Not only am I worried about her being in danger, but it's making me worry if I'm going to be able to return to her so I can tell her how I feel. Plus, it's making me want to take her around the world...for quality time, obviously. I wouldn't put her life in danger like that, I don't think she's a stand user either."
Polnareff nodded in understanding before talking, "ah, young love."
"Shut it."
"Never thought the cold and closed off Jotaro Kujo would go soft for a girl- OW!" Jotaro flicked Polnareff's forehead to shut him up.
"You said you wouldn't tease."
"You know I couldn't help myself!"
"Good grief..."
----
The much larger teenager stopped in his tracks to look at you, and you looked back at him in return. His aqua eyes stared in anticipation, you wouldn't have known but he was nervous. He had a feeling you reciprocated the feeling, but there's always a chance of you saying no.
"I- wow, I'd love to!" You exclaimed, a wide grin making its way onto your face. "I mean, yeah, I think it'd be fun." You said after, trying to collect yourself and appear cooler, which didn't convince the either of you.
"Great, I'll pick you up at 6:30 so we can get there for 7." There was a subtle smile that rested on his seemingly perfect features.
"Great!" You echoed, the smile widening and Jotaro noticed a certain sparkle to your eyes that made you all the more cuter to him.
He walked you all the way to your house to make sure you'd arrive safely. Once you arrived, you turned to each other once more. You simply smiled at him and stood on your tip-toes to press a quick kiss to his cheek.
"I honestly can't wait, see you around Jojo!" You shouted as you walked up to your front door.
"Yeah, can't wait either." He mumbled, only turning around to keep walking to his place when you had walked into your house and shut the door.
Of course, you were barely in the door when your mother sprinted through to interrogate you as she saw the interaction through the window. This should be fun.
That doesn't matter though, Jotaro asked you to the prom next week!

a rare personal post appears, cut for emotional barf
today is my 14th wedding anniversary, and I'm still kind of grappling with my emotions around my wedding. not my marriage - love my husband, he's still great. I feel bad calling my memories of our wedding bittersweet, because it was absolutely nothing to do with him.
but I wanted a few things for my wedding. to wear a medieval dress/be in the closest thing I could find to a castle, to have a 3 tier cake, to have it on our dating anniversary of April 11th, and to have the traditional bride/bridesmaid experience with female friends around me. I would have been fine compromising on some, but I got literally none of these.
problem was, my husband's brother was in the military, so I ended up caving and getting married two days after christmas so my MIL could have her kids home for the holidays. the dresses and venue and cake I wanted were too expensive. we had the wedding at a church, with a pastor. a religious ceremony, which I also didn't want, because to do otherwise would be to invite a ton of fighting from both our families.
and this was my second year of university, when I was in the worst possible years of my life re: friendship. I hadn't made any friends at college, my high school best friend stopped talking to me the second we graduated. of the two HS friends I reached out to about being bridesmaids, one lied and told me she was moving to another country. another said yes and then ghosted me. I ended up with my cousin and two childhood friends I had barely hung out with in recent years that probably felt too bad to say no.
my bachelorette party was me, my photographer (wife of one of my husband's friends), and my mom. it was one of the loneliest nights of my life.
then after the wedding, my husband's friends covered our new car in shaving cream, which will eat through paint if you leave it. and put powdered coffee creamer in our vents, which blew out all over our recently-detailed interior. we didn't get all of that stuff out of the nooks and crannies by the time we sold the car last year. and we were at the car wash trying to rinse off our car in freezing temperatures long enough that we missed our paid-for fancy dinner at the hotel we were staying at for our wedding night. which was the only honeymoon we got.
everything just added up to something that was for everyone else, not for me. and I keep bouncing between "so what, it doesn't actually matter" and "but it mattered to me for some reason, and now I feel stupid that it mattered."
and a huge part of it is that at least in part, I bought into the 90s girl power ideal of close female friendship, and I have never had that. have rarely had more than one or two girl friends at a time at all, much less the tightknit group I always wanted. I've never been asked to be in anyone else's wedding either, so it's like...idk. growing up I was always on the fringes of every friend group I had, the one who they let hang around but wasn't really included. so it's hard to shake that feeling even now, when I have honestly more friends than I ever have. sometimes I still doubt if they actually like me or just put up with me being there because I run the discords they use to hang out with their real friends.
I don't know where I'm going with this and honestly it's at least 90% fueled by me being PMSy, recovering from a stomach bug that hit me like a truck on Christmas day, and having honestly an absolutely terrible year in most respects.

15 People 15 Questions
ty for the tag @babygirlboberrey 💛
1. are you named after anyone?
no, but i was very almost named after perdita from in 101 dalmations until my dad stepped in and said absolutely not to the pregnancy hormones. ftr my mother maintains to this day it wouldn't have been a bad name. can you imagine. perdy.
2. when was the last time you cried?
within the last week for sure. it's just such a wonderful time of the year.

4. what sports do you play/have you played?
i used to competitively swim through high school (although not in the way i think that equates to in the us), and i played football (soccer) on and off. the big one was show jumping, i made it all the way up to competing internationally for gbr. i used to wake up and ride at 5am before school and then again after school which, looking back, was quite frankly insane. i took being the weird horse girl Very Seriously.
5. do you use sarcasm?
more than other people probably appreciate.
6. what’s the first thing you notice about people?
i've honestly never considered this before this question but i think maybe clothes??? or colours of clothes? i'm not sure why either, i never remember them.
7. what’s your eye color?
blue ish
8. scary movies or happy endings?
if i'm alone, happy endings. if i'm with a bunch of people, scary movies. i'm a baby. i need emotional support.
9. any talents?
i'm very good at horses. i've never lost anything when i've been drunk. i can type much faster than i should physically be able to considering i use three fingers total. i can water ski (fairly useless tbh). i'm also very good at bringing animals home from the streets (my family would argue this is not a talent but a curse). i can sing, sort of.
10. where were you born?
uk
11. what are your hobbies?
watching hockey. suffering through f1. reading. running. hiking. swimming. playing guitar (badly). apparently lately building my own furniture. rewatching the same three tv shows over and over again. making gifs when the divine inspiration strikes. playing sims. baking.
12. do you have any pets?
four cats: a grumpy ginger and white old aged pensioner called spike (actually. maybe this is just claude giroux in cat form); loulou, who looks way too posh to have come from the streets; mishka, the love of my life my sweet angel baby darling who never does any wrong; and pasha, demon void cat who followed me home 3 months before i moved countries (and wasn't that a headache and a half) and who's probably going to send someone (me) to an early grave.
two dogs: indy, looks exactly like a fox, found her in the desert outside the rescue centre and they refused to take her in. she's my little mountain dog. and alfie, who we rescued 6 months ago, and who is best described as 'imagine there's a velociraptor in your home but the velociraptor is on fire and also your home is on fire and also you are on fire and also'. he's majority german shorthaired pointer. iykyk.
13. how tall are you?
between 5'8 and 5'9
14. favorite subject in school?
i used to love maths because it required a lot less brain power and subjective answers than everything else. in uni, my forensic science classes, or the only enjoyable thing from my first time round at uni, some fake ass course to build up credits called 'the universe as an art' which consisted of going outside to look at the stars and writing a poem about the moon.
15. dream job.
training horses. which sort of was my job that i had to give up when i moved here :)
i think a lot of people have already been tagged but @yabagofmilfs @amandaleveille @girldewar @tblueger @masonshaws @babygirlspurgeon

You ever think about how fucked up it is that children in military families are surrounded by messages that their parents and other close relatives are Heroes who are In Danger Protecting Them whenever they leave home? Like. I only have the experience of it you get from living in Texas where it also kinda fuses and intersects with and reinforces the evangelism in a lot of ways, but I can't imagine pro-military tactics are much different in other places. If service isn't compulsory, the main way you draw people in is with the promise of being Cool Noble Heroes Protecting The Country when in reality their lives and bodies and personal goals are just being exploited for the aims of whoever happens to be in charge of this grander landmass.
And while I've seen people talk about how that whole paradigm is Bad For Global Society (because it is) and preys on the poor and otherwise disenfranchised/marginalized (because it does) I don't think I've seen anyone directly point out how it will fuck a kid up to be told 'Your parent/older sibling/otherwise close one is a big cool tough hero who goes into dangerous situations willing to sacrifice anything, specifically their own life, to keep you and the countless strangers in the nation Safe.' over and over and over again in countless insidious ways.
Like, imagine you are 5 years old and it's normal to you for your Mom not to be home, because she's been on and off deployed or multiple towns over on drill or doing other vaguely defined military shit on-base since before you were born. The main outfit you can imagine her in is camouflage, with your last name and various other incomprehensible words and symbols velcroed in various places on it. You like her shiny silver necklace with the square charms that go clink-clink, and you ask someone older than you if you can have one, and you're told 'Oh, no, you get that when you're a soldier.' 'But why can't I have one now?' and they now have the choice to either leave you frustrated that you are being left out of the loop on your mom's necklace, or they tell you 'Those are dog tags. They're used to identify a soldier in case they die. You don't need them.' If they're detailed, they add, 'You can't always identify a body depending on the way they die.' And as years go on people mince words less and less and you're taught sometime in middle or high school that dog tags as a practice started during the civil war amongst soldiers when they realized they didn't know who to send some of the corpses home to.
Imagine you're 7, and at school you're given one of those 'What job does your parent have?' worksheets that are meant to teach kids how to write comprehensible statements. Your Mom is a mechanic, and you know a lot of what the things in her toolbox are for. You feel very smart for being able to identify different models of car and knowing that cars don't just have engines, but batteries and cooling systems. Your Dad hasn't been home more than a week for the past two months. All you know is what the TV and other military kids say about what being in the army is like. You write down what you've heard. Your dad has a very important job. He protects everybody from danger and knows how to use a gun. He 'puts his life on the line'. A phrase you have heard so many times, it has ceased to mean anything. If it ever really meant anything to you when you first heard it. Whenever that was.
Imagine you're 11, and your older sibling gets home from their first deployment. They're a little jet lagged, and they almost don't recognize you because you grew out your hair some while they were gone and grew out of half your clothes. They give you a big hug and your parents say welcome home and you completely forget how just last month you were playing out in your head a situation where you got a call saying they weren't coming home and strategizing your whole life for a night around them not being there, because for all you know, that could happen anytime. Any day. Whenever they are not in your sight, they could be in danger. But of course you don't need to worry. They're home now, they'll be in danger again later, and right now, they brought you souvenirs for your birthday they missed.
And they do it for you. They do it because they're heroes. They do it because they're brave and the best and amazing. They do it because everybody needs them. Everybody, not just you. Your family doesn't belong to you, your family belongs to the country. The first people who you ever had the chance to be important to, who ever had the chance to be important to you, could disappear from your life and you wouldn't know it until the call came through from wherever they'd been disappeared off to.
Like, maybe it's bad to tell children that's Good Actually.

I’m curious why you like the newsroom? It always seemed like just like a mash of the The West Wing’s prestige thrown in with Sports Night’s setting and archetypes and trying way too hard to make us feel bad for Will.
I watched the first two seasons while I was in high school and the last season my first year of college. That's an age where media can rewire your brain. It was also the first Sorkin show I saw, I actually watched it before The West Wing.
I do think it shares a lot of traits with previous Sorkin works (they don't call them Sorkinisms for nothing) but I don't agree with how you describe it here. For one thing I've never considered The West Wing truly prestige; at its heart I think it's network television and the reason it got such a strong response is it operated on a level that network television usually doesn't. I've joked about mapping the archetypes from Sports Night onto the Newsroom before, but I don't think that's fair as a serious analysis. A lot of shows operate with the same basic archetypes just for storytelling reasons and I think that's all it is, with a little dash of Sorkinism on top. It's not the same setting as Sports Night and it's one that's much more interesting to me. Sports Night is about a sports show and it works because it's character-driven, but as the success of The West Wing and the failure of Studio 60 demonstrate, Sorkin does best when he has a setting with really lofty stakes. A major news channel has much loftier stakes than a sports show. To the extent that it's The West Wing meets Sports Night I think that's a good thing, because it melds some of Sorkin's strengths from both shows. But hey, three of his four shows are about television behind the scenes.
I think the Newsroom is very different from Sorkin's other shows, because it was on HBO, because it was made a few years later, and also because he was working with some different collaborators and you can tell. At the time it came out, it was making a very good point about the role of cable news in society (it's a bit dated now because cable news has since been largely supplanted by social media).
I responded really well to the characters, and a lot of my continuing fondness for the show comes from that attachment. I think there are some genuinely great performances in that show. I like all three seasons, but it's definitely a show of diminishing returns, but I rewatched it within the last couple years and I think the first season holds up as a really strong piece of television. I love the gimmick of setting the show a couple of years behind the present in order to use real news stories and my biggest criticism of the later seasons is Sorkin didn't stay committed to that. I think when it was new it offered a really interesting perspective on events we all remembered unfolding. I think about that a lot now when political memory seems so short.
The show is absolutely trying too hard to make us feel bad for Will and I think I love him in way more of a "god, he sucks" way than Sorkin intended me to. But Jeff Daniels is so good in that role that I can't not care about him. He's funny and that goes such a long way with me.
I've come to view Will and Mac as the kind of messy, toxic, "it's good that they're together so they stay away from everyone else" couple and I really enjoy them that way.
The moment that really gets me is when Will meets the "what makes America the greatest country in the world?" girl again and says "you do." The entire first season is a refutation of "this generation is the worst" and it drives me nuts that that clip went viral without the follow-up because it totally mischaracterizes the show.
Some of the character arcs are really messy, but some of them are great, like Don. There's enough to keep me coming back.
Also I'm a lesbian and the cast includes both Jane Fonda and Olivia Munn.

Hi! I’m trying to befriend my favourite mutuals so I’m asking a bunch of questions to get to know you all better
What was/is your favourite subject in school? Were/are you good at it?
What country do you live in? What do you like/dislike about it?
Are you currently writing/planning an original story? If so, what is it about?
What genres of media do you usually consume? What books would you recommend to people?
What is your favourite poison?
what is your favourite method of murder (both to read about and what you would actually use)?
What patterns do you usually notice in the people that you hang out with?
Can I message you?
Hi, darling!! Love these questions, thank you so much for sending them through 🥺 Honoured to be considered a favourite mutual.
My favourite subject was absolutely English. It was my top subject when I graduated as well, and I was definitely good at it. I wasn't always though. I actually had trouble reading as a kid. I didn't even really like reading until I got to around 10 years old. And I had a few rough years in high school where no matter how hard I tried in English classes, I could have sworn two teachers in particular were out to give me a hard time for a couple years (to the point where I was nearly averaging on a D in their classes, whereas all other years I was a straight A student in English, including my final years, so the contrast is still weird to look back on, considering nothing substantial actually changed in my learning between those years).
Australia! I like the environment here, generally, not just in terms of vibes from folk but also nature. I do like that where I am in particular they seem to try and incorporate more greenery into built up areas. I dislike our education system deeply and the fact that geographically we're split off from much of the world.
Yes, I am! Both writing and planning (have done so much planning over the years, vaguely, went to write, and realised I needed an outline, and I'm still finishing that up so I can continue the writing part). It's about the sacrifices we make to protect what we care about, essentially. It's also what I would consider high fantasy (though it's technically a blend between high/historical fantasy and low fantasy). Also, horror and romance elements because it's not my work without a bit of horror and some romance at this point (sue me, this stuff goes hand in hand so well sometimes).
Genres of media: dark fantasy (so not outright horror but also too dark to be purely what you might just call fantasy), historical drama, aaand romance (but it's usually mixed in with something else because I struggle to read straight up romance). Books I recommend people are usually tailored to what I know of their interests. Will usually try to squeeze in something by V.E. Schwab though.
Ooh. Good question. Assuming you're talking about actual poison and not just a drink (drink: mocha) it would have to be mistletoe. It's not suuuper effective in small doses, I know, but hear me out: it's a hemiparasitic plant and there's been debates over whether it can be considered a carnivorous plant because of how it feeds off a host plant (tree). I can't remember whether it was argued that it could have been a passive or active trap, though I guess it doesn't really matter, because in the end it's really not carnivorous at all. Still! Toxic to consume. Vomiting and so on. Possible death etc.
Hmm, favourite method. I love poisonings, actually, because they're interesting to orchestrate in stories and can make for dramatic symptom reveals and realisations (and I've written them before too, but reading is just as fun). And, to be honest, I'm pretty shitty at writing other sorts of death scenes BUT oh you know what goes hard?? A good old fashioned stabbing where Character A leans into it and Character B to whisper one last thing -- usually something that holds a lot of weight. THAT is brilliant. I have one of those planned to write. Really excited for it.
People I hang out with are massive nerds. Okay, more seriously... I don't know. I hang out with a variety of people, because I also have a wide array of interests and so I tend to meld into different groups at a time. That's why I say nerds. I like to be around people who care a lot about Very Specific Things. Oh, well, they're also often neurodivergent, so there's that. I find it difficult to get along with people who are so chill about everything and give off the vibe that they have no personality and or passion.
Absolutely you can message me!!

ur spn oc intrigues me so much. i couldn't find the post u mentioned this in so i may just be misremembering but i'm p sure u mentioned some sort of spn musician au with him? and i have been so curious about that pleaasse 🙏 i need to know the details
oh yeah!!! my au where dean is a musician 🥰🥰🥰 it's actually inspired by two different fanfics i like (texas state of mind by palominopup and starstruck by peanutbutterjelly-pie. tbh i haven't finished starstruck but i love what i've read so far). i love this one, but i don't have the most planned out for it yet 💔 but here's what i've got so far:
dean is a (probably country) musician who has had writer's block (or the song writing version of this?) for a hot minute and he's been really pressed into needing to get inspiration for something new. sometime makes him remember his two "best friends" (THEY WRRE ALL GAY FOR EACH OTHER. duh) from high school, and he suddenly gets inspiration for a song. it's a love song ofc, like he's confessing his feelings and expressing his sorrow of not keeping in contact with them, and talking about how he'll prolly never see em again so he's sad about that.
he writes it and records it and releases it, and it's a huge hit. there's also lots of controversy surrounding it because no pronouns outside of i/me/my are mentioned in it, and the two names used (jaime and cas) are both technically gender neutral! so everyone's like "okay is this two guys??? two girls???? a guy AND a girl???" (btw both jaime and cas are non-binary so HA none of those options are right 🥰). so like the song gets popular both bc it's a hit and bc it's talked about so much bc people are trying to puzzle out the entire context of the song.
meanwhile, both jaime and cas hear the song, whether it's because they keep up with dean even tho they haven't been in contact since the end of highschool, or they just hear it on the radio bc it's playing everywhere rn. both are shocked, bc like "🥹🥹 omg he remembers me... he remembers US". they've all been living separate lives for a while, it's been at least 15 years since they all last saw each other. like dean went to a college far away, cas and jaime lingered a little before they just moved on to do their own thing because dean was gone, and they didn't see the point of sticking around their old hometown, and it hurt too much to be together with dean not there as well. they were THEE trio!! they weren't whole without dean :(
and now all three of them seriously reminsce about their old high school "friendship" and it becomes painfully clear to all three of them that yeah. they weren't just friends. they definitely were more than that. but what can they do about that now??
well first thing's first, jaime decides to look cas up in the phone book of the place jaime last knew he was at. he's surprised and relieved to see cas' number was still there, and he calls cas. he's basically like "hey so have you heard what's been playing on the radio lately"
and cas is like "um yeah...."
"we should go see him"
"how the hell are we going to do that?? he doesn't just have his home address on his twitter profile 🙄 it's not going to be easy"
"oh come on, who ever says true love is easy?" and jaime says this mostly jokingly, like to break the ice of THAT conversation. despite how jokingly he says it, it's PRETTY obvious from the song that dean is in love with them both still, and he really misses them. dean is SO in love with them and really, jaime and cas feel the same too. and cas ends up agreeing, of course, because jaime is obviously right about meeting dean again.
cas and jaime meet up and are sooo awkward and silly while trying to figure out how they're going to see dean again. they find out when dean's next concert is and they decide that's a perfect place to reunite with dean. tho cas is like "it's going to be difficult for him to notice us when there's tens of thousands of people at the concert"
and jaime's like "we'll MAKE him notice us" and cas is quite worried about what that could mean.
unfortunately i haven't thought of how exactly they're going to get dean to notice them yet. but somehow they do, and dean is SO excited, and he puts his whole pussy into that concert just for them 💕💕💕
then they ofc reunite afterwards and there's lots of awkwardness bc NONE of these guys can be normal 🙄🙄🙄 BUT it's cute and it's going to be cool.

YOU WROTE 18K BY HAND?? i am so impressed i need to ask what you are writing about. holy shit u are like a god
oh my god ok THANK YOU for asking !!! also in the time since you asked this, i have written another 1,400 words by hand. Anyways. under the cut bc this got. too long.
so this was originally for the 50k big bang project, but it was cancelled so i'm gonna go ahead and talk about it publicly now. SO.
the sparknotes summary: it is an iwaoi post-canon coming of age relationship study !! it's about iwaizumi in california and oikawa in argentina and how they navigate their friendship while long distance. it quite literally walks through every step of their journey from graduation aoba johsai to meeting again at the 2020 olympics....the sheer amount of time i'm covering is why its currently ~88,000 words LMAO.
this fic is literally my little monster. it was supposed to be 30k. then it was supposed to be 50k MAX. it is now 88 thousand words long. anyways though i'm enjoying it.
it's a slow burn get together, but it's also a break up & make up fic. the idea is that they dated in high school and then had to break up bc of the distance--but i think they're probably going to get together in the end. the middle is a whole lot of them growing up and figuring out how they can have a healthy friendship even as adults and dealing with loneliness and adulthood on their own and really coming into themselves as people by the time that they get to the olympics.
i just finished parts two and three, which is iwaizumi's years at university. here are some BANGER lines, if i do say so myself:
after oikawa's visit to california, when he has to leave again:
Oikawa smiles at him, and with that, he takes the handle of his suitcase and walks into the airport. Farther and farther and farther away, until he’s disappeared from sight and Iwaizumi is standing alone again, next to the blinking red hazard lights and the sound of other cars’ wheels on cracked concrete.  He gets back into the car. He doesn’t really want to talk to Rich right now, or any one of his other friends or teammates. He kind of just wants to be alone.  So he turns off the hazard lights and puts the car in drive and then he takes the long way home.
when iwaizumi is talking to his friends about oikawa:
“It’s not a big deal,” he tries. “We’ve both moved on. It wouldn’t have lasted while we’re in different countries anyway.”  He does not mention that Oikawa had asked him to wait. He does not mention that he is—he is waiting, and he doesn’t plan on stopping. He doesn’t plan on breaking that promise to come home.  “Ah,” Em says, subdued.
during a drunken NYE call:
Iwaizumi can hear the flinch in Oikawa’s voice. “You miss me?”  “I’m not saying it again, Iwaizumi says, and it sounds like it’s supposed to be angry, but it just comes out tired and sad. “Of fucking course I do. You’re—” “I’m what?”  Iwaizumi takes a shuddering breath. “You’re so far away, Tooru. You’re so far away and it makes me—fuck, fuck! I shouldn’t have called. I should—” “No!” Oikawa says it instantly, desperately, cutting off any idea that Iwaizumi should go. Which is good because as much as Iwaizumi wants to escape the embarrassment of this phone call, he doesn’t actually want to hang up. He doesn’t actually want to leave Oikawa now. “Stay. Please. Stay with me.”  Iwaizumi pauses for a moment, swallowing down Oikawa’s words and turning them over in his head before saying anything else. “Okay. I’ll stay.”
anywayssssssss!!! it's been REALLY fun to write, but it's also like. an insane labor of love. this fic was my project for nanowrimo july of LAST YEAR, and it's my project again this year. isn't that crazy. so so so much has gone into this fic its literally driving me up the wall. it haunts my every waking moment and also my dreams.
but yeah i don't have wifi where i'm living for the summer, so i've been writing everything by hand and then typing it all up when i can use a hotspot on my phone. i also have the most amount of free time in my life than i have , like, EVER had in my non-child life. so i get to spend so much time writing, which has been sooooo fun. i am begging the universe to keep me from being burnt out bc i'm genuinely having the time of my life working on this.
ok phone's about to die gotta go. thank you for asking i want to talk about this SO bad. please feel free to ask me. please enable me i'm begging you

I don't have any cat pictures, but I have a story, if you dont mind me sharing it with you. Some years ago, when I was really struggling, a cat came to visit me.
(I'm from a European country and I'm not entirely sure what my school system is equivalent with american/British ones, so I'm just gonna try to pick one that could fit, even though its not a perfect translation. It's difficult to find a way to equivalate my school system with other countries)
I was in my junior year of high school (or Year 13, if you want a British equivalent) and I was really struggling with my health. I'd been through a lot the last two years and in response, my body had shut down, and my chronic illness got worse and worse. And in consequence i was home sick from school a lot. My absence from school just grew to the point where I missed 1/3 of my sophomore/year 12, and that absence continued in my junior/year 13. And I wasn't getting better.
The days and even weeks at a time where I stayed home from school, a cat began to visit me in my garden. Some days, I was outside when it was warm for just a little while, and one day, a cat walked by, so I tried calling out to it and it stopped and came up to me. It sniffed my hand and let me pet it, and a few minutes later, it went on its way. From that day on, every few days, it would come by my garden or walk past one of my windows, and I would go out and sit with it for a few minutes, petting it. It was something that really brightened up my days, because in the first few weeks of it visiting me was the time where I was forced to drop out of high school because my body just couldn't handle it anymore and my health and chronic illness was just crashing and would continue to crash if I had stayed. Even though it was the right thing to do, it was really hard for me to drop out, and I struggled emotionally with that decision and what my future would them look like from then on, but my little cat visitor really brightened up my days and that cat is the reason I was able to smile in that first month or two after dropping out of school.
The cat kept visiting me for well over a year, and I was so happy every time it walked by our windows and I could go out and find it waiting for me, it was genuinely one of my only reasons for smiling during that time. It stopped visiting me during year 2 of me knowing it, but I was better mentally at that point and didn't need it the same way I had before
So yeah, no pictures, just a kind cat who really helped me through a tough time in my life <3

i think that's the most wonderful thing i've heard/read in a long while. i think the universe proved to you that magic exists (or that you found magic on your own)
