sorry if it bothers you, i just felt that my black readers weren’t feeling black as they were reading y/n stories cause i for sure wasn’t.

Summary: Bakugo and you have hated each other ever since you met, being on the same track team and having the same friend group didn’t make things any better. you 2 have to act like you like each other for the benefit of the friend group until one day you and him are forced to have movie night with the others and you both have had enough of each other’s shit.

in this chapter: you get invited to the movie night and bump into bakugo

The morning smell of outside filled your lungs as you stepped out your house. It was exactly 5:30 in the morning. The streets were not busy and there was barely any noise, just faint sounds of dogs barking and truck drivers in a distance. It was the perfect time to go for your daily run. The chilly air made you happy, it gave you more of a challenge. you zipped your nike training jacket up. It fit you tight, tugging at every curve of yours. The sky was a foggy blue, a few clouds started coming in, along with the sum.

You walked down the steps of your house, stretching your legs when you got to the sidewalk. You looked ahead and yawned as you walked onto the street. Your neighborhood was fairly nice to say the least. Everybody minded their business, especially since your house had been secluded. After your grandmother died, she left one of her houses she owned to you, making it easy for you since you dreaded the idea of having to share a dorm with someone, let alone having to get an apartment.

you placed your airpods in your ears and played Apparently by J.Cole. J.Cole had been your favorite rapper since you were 12 years old, you missed the days where your 12 year old self would dance around your room to his music, now you’re grown and responsibilities are becoming more than just making sure your chores were done. You stretched one last time before taking off.

Once you were done, sweat dripped from your face. your breathing was heavy and the cold water bottle in your hand had been long awaited. The sun was now out. The birds chirping got louder and the old lady from across the street was sitting in her chair with her small cat in her lap, you quenched your thirst, swallowing every last drop of water. “Good morning Y/n” She chirped. You wiped your mouth with your wrist smiling, turning towards her, “Goodmorning Ms. Rodriguez.” you reply as you waved.

You finally go back inside your house, feeling at ease. you take off your black vapor max at the door and go to your kitchen, grabbing a nutrigrain bar, you ate it before going upstairs to get ready for your classes. you took your curly hair out of its messy bun. the roots of your hair were finally breathing and it felt good. you scratched your scalp in satisfaction. you looked in the mirror, loving your features and your brown/caramel skin. you never felt the need to put yourself in the 3 categories because to you there was no need to, everybody in the community was black so why separate it into groups.

you placed the shea butter your mother made for you on your face. you took off your semi-sweaty clothes throwing them into your dirty clothes hamper and looked at yourself in the mirror. your body was perfect to most but you didn’t see what everyone saw. your thighs were too thick for your liking, especially since you did track. your breast were too big to you, they sometimes got in the way while working out. you had a 4 pack from the working out, everybody told you that you had an hour glass body but you hated it. if this what a hour glass body was, you hated it.

you took off your panties, replacing your old ones with Tommy Hilfiger ones. You grabbed a pair of black nike sweatpants that fit your thighs perfectly. You took off your bra, letting your breast breath and put on another sports bra, putting on a white t-shirt fresh out the pack. you ran chap stuck along your plump lips, they were more than plump actually if you like them so it didn’t matter. you picked out the roots of your hair leaving it’s on it’s curly state. you had dyed your hair a ginger color, which made you look like sza a little. your fro was like hers too, very big and curly.

You wrapped your apple watch around your wrist and put on some whit nike socks, along with your white air force ones. Your phone started dinging and it was the gc, you had been in with your friend group.

Midoriya🥬> Goodmorning everybody, i have a big test in Mr. Aizawa’s today so i have to get to studying, talk to you guys later.

Kirishima> Mornin. It’s beautiful out today, isn’t it and i’m not a whore mina.

You> yea, kirishima i’m pretty sure you got caught with cami in the janitors closet.

Iida> Mine was too, you guys need to stop texting and get to class.

You> sure, see you on the track field lida. this gc is getting deader by the day and it’s embarrassing to watch.

You shut off your phone with a smile, knowing that got him heated. You didn’t even care for his response. you loved messing with lida, it was funny, you sprayed a little vanilla perfume on your body and you were off to a place you dreaded.

You were now in the library studying with Mina. Mina was like your best friend, you told her everything and she told you everything. “Have you seen that picture of trey songz you know what?” she asked and your eyes went wide, in shock that she was talking about this in the library. “yes, but i can’t go crazy over it, he made the shit so corny. the whole post he made afterwards had me cringing at my phone so hard. i was like “boy what the fuck” he too old for that shit.” you told her and she giggled.

“I’m having a movie night with the rest of the group this saturday, you have to come. you never come to things with us anymore. Ever since bakugou started hanging out with us, you’ve been avoiding us. i’ve noticed some type of tension between you 2, i hope it isn’t sexual?” she stated and your stomach churned at the thought of that stuck up dummy.

“No, i just like staying to myself, that’s all. i think i’ll come Saturday as long as it’s not going to be a lot of people you know how busy i am with track and stuff.” you stated in reality you hated being around bakugo. especially since he always felt to make rude remarks towards you when everyone wasn’t around. He was normally mean to everyone, but you got it the worse since you had the shortest running time on the team. When track practice would come around you and him would argue with each other every second. you hated being yelled at or talked to badly and your mother sure didn’t raise a bitch so you talked to him just as reckless as he did to you and he hated every second of it since you were the first to ever test him. your personalities didn’t mix well at all.

“it’s only gonna be, denki, bakugo, kirishima, todoroki, asui, uruaka and deku but that’s if bakugo doesn’t mind.”

“yea, i’ll think about it.” you said softly.

you were now at practice and the death stares you received from bakugo made you just wanna slap the fuck out of him. His eyes followed you as you warmed up. You could see him start to come towards you and you sighed. His tall figure stood in front of you, blocking the sun, his body shaded you. “You draw too much attention.” He stated as the boys that were on the team stared at you. You were the only girl on the track team so you learned to get used to it. “I know, why are you telling me this?” you asked and he gritted his teeth, “All of those boys are practically eye raping you.” he states, taking in your appearance and you sighed, “I don’t know what to fucking say. these are the only sizes in shirts they have and if my curves happen to show then so be it. it’s not like the whole thing is out.”

Sweat dripped from the side of his head, he had on a white tank top and some nike shorts with some white vapor max. a towel hung over his broad shoulders. your eyes scanned his body, you never thought bakugo was ugly, he was perfect when it came to looks. He was very tall with a slim, muscular build, and a fair skin tone. He had short, spiky, ash-blond hair that looked soft. His eyes were a sharp and bright red in color that showed his hostility. his looks fit his personality though, very cocky.

“Why do you care?” You asked and his cheeks turned a bright pink and anger came upon him, this line made him mad, “I don’t.” he replied angrily. “Well then stop telling me things i already know. All you do is bother me.” you told and his lips curved into a smirk, “Your existence bothers me, imagine how I feel.”

You rolled your eyes, pushing past him aggressively. He can be so fucking annoying. Imaging having to be on the same team as someone you hate. It’s really irritating, especially when the person is somebody as arrogant as he is. He needs to be humbled.

You and Bakugou were the only 2 left after practice, your coach was mad at the both of you because of what happened last week with the sub coach. Bakugou had been bothering you that day and you snapped and then you two decided to have a race on your own which didn’t turn out so well since bakugou got mad that you won in the end.

So now you and him were being forced to do “after practice workouts” with each other. You were now lying on the ground of the track floor, exhausted. Bakugou was right next to you, your chest rose up and down, your breathing heavy and your legs worn out. You looked over at him, and he looked over at you. “This wouldn’t have happened if you just wouldn’t hate me so much and accept that i’m faster than you.” you stated and his red eyes stared at your light brown ones. “Can’t blame this all on me. You hate me as well and you don’t know when to shut up. You don’t have to respond to everything i say but you do.” He said and you placed your hands at your stomach, “I’m not about to let you walk all over me like you do everyone else. Your ego is too big and i’m doing nothing but lowering it.”

“Is that what you think?” he asked and you sighed softly looking him in his eyes trying to search for anything but anger but there was no other emotion but that, his pupils did dilate once he noticed how hard you were staring into his eyes though, “It’s not what i think, it’s what i know.” you said. “i don’t understand why you are always so angry all the time. I don’t even know how you have the friends that you have. obviously that means they see past it but i refuse to. i can’t. sorry but that’s just how i am.” you stated sitting up, he sat up with you staring at you, “i don’t understand how you have friends, you are very competitive and just avoid me then. We can always hate each other from a distance.” he stated and you smiled shaking your head as you stood up.

“Can’t do that when we have the same friends and are on the same team and i’m only competitive when it comes to track. So i’ll just hate you regardless and plus you always keep your enemies close. It doesn’t matter though, i’m still faster.” you added on that last part trying to make him mad and you could hear him start to yell as you walked off and a smile came upon your lips.

There’s no way you could ever be friends with him so why even bother trying. Something about him makes your blood boil.

What I think the male characters of mha smell like

Izuku: Greenery and that smell just before it starts raining. Like when you’re walking through the woods and you get a deep breathe of fresh air.

Bakugou: Nitroglycerin smells like burnt sugar (not caramel), and I think he would wear way too much expensive cologne in an attempt to cover it. It doesn’t work now he just smells like if a candy store and Aeropostale joined forces.

Kirishima: I think he smells like sweat and axe. It’s not that he doesn’t shower after working out, he just smells like sweat. You can decide if that’s a good or a bad thing.

Todoroki: I think hes worn the same expensive cologne since middle school. Probably something called ice lake or glacier. He also smells like ✨daddy issues✨

Kaminari: He smells like a Spencer’s. I can’t pin down what smell it is but specifically the body jewelry area. All of them smell the same. There must be like an air freshener they all use or something idk.

Tenya: Beef stew. I fully head cannon that he’s autistic and that beef stew is his safe food. This bitch smells like beef stew and control issues.

Shoji: Shoji is a minimalist so I don’t think he would use cologne or anything, but I think he would have an essential oil diffuser in his room so he smells like a mixture of herbs and citrus fruits.

Oijiro: I’ve seen other people say he smells like vanilla and I agree, but I also think he would have an earthy smell too. Like pine and vanilla, very unique but it smells amazing.

Tokoyami: Black pepper and papyrus, you can’t tell if he naturally smells that way or if it’s from the old books he reads. When dark shadow comes out the papyrus smell dissipates and is replaced by the smell of damp earth.

Sero: Dragons blood incense, Apollo axe body spray, and just a wiff of marijuana

Aoyama: He smells like setting powder, body glitter, and a VERY sweet perfume. Is almost hurts your nose.

Koda: He smells like his bunny, and bunnies smell similar to cats. I don’t mean their poop or anything, their fur. When he’s in his room he’s always holding or playing with his rabbit so he ends up smelling like it.

Sato: He smells like pastries which isn’t really surprising. But somehow he always smells like fresh baked bread and cherry pie. He even seems to radiate the warmth too.

Mineta: piss, desperation, and grape cough syrup.

Shinsou: Coffee and lavender, he also has an earthy musk that smells almost spicy.

Tetsutetsu: I know he uses old spice wolf thorn. Or like KrackenGaurrd or whatever. Something with a name that makes him feel manly 😭🥺

Inasa: He smells like old leather, parchment, and paprika. When he uses his quirk the paprika smells gets stronger. A very mild but spicy smell.

Mirio: He smells citrusy and warm, like fresh baked lemon bars. He also wears the bourbon body spray from bath and body works.

Tamaki: Tamaki doesn’t like drawing attention to himself so I don’t think he would purposely have a distinct smell, and you can’t really place his natural one. He smells like how it feels to take a deep breathe of cold air, it’s almost addictive.

All might: Clean linen and oak wood. I just think he would smell very fresh and warm. Like when you wake up before your alarm so you get to roll back over and go back to sleep.

Endeavor 🤢: Expensive cologne and ass. I don’t believe that this man wipes his ass, that’s gay. Also you can’t convince me that he showers purely because I don’t think he would fit. He thinks no one notices, they’re just too afraid to say anything.

Gang Orca: Orcas have really sensitive skin so I don’t think he could use any scented products, including cologne. But I feel like he might have a very faint smell of saltwater.

Aizawa: He wears a cologne that’s very spicy and musky but he won’t tell anyone what it is. He naturally has a very earthy smell that the cologne enhances.

Present Mic: Stay with me on this, I think he would wear a very sweet sugary perfume. I feel like Hizashi naturally smells very tangy and spicy, so adding that sugary smell makes him ever more irresistible.

Hound dog: I think he smells like a clean dog. He’s a person, just with a dog quirk, so he’s fully aware that dogs smell. He’s pretty self conscious honestly, he doesn’t smell he’s just really really worried he will.

Rock Lock: I think he smells like a cave. If you’ve ever been in one you know what I mean. That damp earthy smell with just a tiny hint of metallic or salt in the air. I’m not picking this just because of his name idk he gives me really strong but calm vibes.

Tiger: I can’t decide if he would wear cologne or not. If he did I think it’d be fruity or cinnamon. Maybe like spiced apple cider.

Keigo: Fried chicken. Not because of his quirk he just eats a lot of fried chicken. Also the type of guy to wear old spice with a really “epic” name.

Fatgum: He smells like the food court part of a carnival, and I don’t mean that as a bad thing. He smells really good, like a mixture of sweets, spices, and fried foods.

Tensei: I think he smells clean with a tiny bit of musk cologne as well. Doesn’t seem like the type of guy to wear really strong cologne.

Natsuo: He would also wear a cologne with a name like glacier because something like that would piss Enji off.

Overhaul: He smells like a doctors office. It’s not pleasant. Does he spray himself with disinfectant or does he just use so much that he smells like it?

Kendo: He smells like sweat but not body odor. He works for overhaul so I don’t think Kai would let him get away with smelling bad.

Tomura: The shiggy stans are gonna come for me, but he smells like a rotting fucking corpse. When’s the last time he showered? Also not to mention he’s an incel so he probably also smells like piss and cum. You know it’s the truth.

Touya: He also smells like rotting flesh but it’s not as bad. Fire kills bacteria. He can’t wear cologne because so much of his body is skin graphs, but maybe if he took care of them properly he at least wouldn’t smell like a morgue.

Twice: Ciggarettes and borderline pedophelia gin.

Spinner: Honestly I think he’s the only member of the league (other than Magne)that would actually have some type of self care. He doesn’t smell like anything, which in comparison to his partners is amazing.

I think I got everyone that people would want. I’ll do the girls later and I’m thinking of doing the atla and lok characters too. If I forgot someone you want just tell me and I’ll add them :).

Like there's bakusquad and dekusquad so based on your personality and stuff who would you probably hang out with the most? I love all your writing keep up the great work!! <3

Hmhmm, I really had to think about this one. Because I know who I would want to hang out with all the time, but based on my personality, my friendships would probably look something like this:

- Kyouka Jirou -

Jirou would probably be my best friend at U.A, honestly. We have very similar taste in fashion, we both enjoy music to an unhealthy extent, and we have compatible personalities (our sense of humor usually consists of picking on someone, we’re both pretty shy and introverted and get embarrassed very easily, but aside from that, we’re both pretty brash and straight-forward and honest). We would definitely send each other playlists all the time for review and to ask for any song recommendations for certain moods or whatever depending on what our playlists were revolved around. I would definitely make crack-type playlists inspired by some of our classmates and send them to her and she would fucking love them. We’d probably go clothes shopping together because we both hate clothes shopping but we wear similar clothes and shop at the same stores so might as well go together and make it a little more tolerable. I would always go to the practice room with her while she fiddled on whatever instrument she decided to use that day and I’d record all of the sessions on my phone and send them to her so she could look them over and adjust accordingly, and I’d help her write some of her songs since I’m such a strong writer. If any of our classmates were being weird or annoying or whatever, she’d send me the eye-rolling emoji and nothing else (even if she was standing right next to me) and then we’d both have to fight not to laugh. Jirou would be my brotp, for sure!

- Tokoyami Fumikage -

Fumi, Dark Shadow and I would probably hang out almost every day. He would be my other best friend, aside from Jirou. Dark Shadow loves head pats and I love patting things so I’d probably spend an unhealthy amount of time petting Dark Shadow the same way Denki pets Ojiro’s tail all the time! Fumi and I also have fairly similar tastes in clothes, so I’d probably borrow (read: steal) his hoodies every now and then and he definitely knows I’m doing it because let’s face it, I am not stealthy in the slightest, but he’d just shake his head and let me because they always arrive back in his closet, washed and clean, sometime within the next week of them having disappeared. I feel like Fumi wouldn’t mind sitting out on the porch of Heights Alliance with me or sitting in one of our rooms with the balcony doors open during thunderstorms, and we’d drink tea and he’d probably appreciate how passionate I get about the rain, and I’d love to recite to him some of the ghost/scary stories my mom used to tell me growing up. We would watch paranormal videos and movies and we’d debate whether spirits know what memes are or not. I would also definitely read over and help him edit his poetry and short stories! I’d be his number one beta reader! :D

- Sero Hanta -

Sero already reminds me of 80% of my college buddies, so I’d just assume that we’d hit it off immediately, honestly. We’d probably spend a lot of time watching crazy conspiracy videos on Youtube and then adamantly debating whether they could be real or not. He’d probably be the only person at U.A. who would gush with me about space and shit (cause space is so fucking cool and I don’t understand how that’s considered nerdy BRUh there are real life human beings just ahdbhcdh FLYING off the planet!! And then returning!!! Like a dad coming back from the store after buying cigarettes - a fucking miracle and nobody cares!!!). We’d smoke that good-good together and zone out in Sero’s awesome room listening to Bon Jovi and Elvis Presley and all the other music we love that Jirou just shakes her head at. Also, Sero is tall, and I am very small (157cm), and you can bet this jackass would follow me around just to put his elbow on the top of my head and lean on me during idle conversation with our classmates... fucker.

- Koji Koda -

Koda and I probably wouldn’t be close friends or anything. Our relationship would mainly consist of sending each other animal memes / articles about rich people keeping exotic animals as pets and we’d plan (mostly jokingly) how to steal the animals away and give them to a proper sanctuary. Whenever there is a stray dog or cat on campus, Koda would call me up and we’d take the animal to the vet together or we’d help find its owners. Any time he went to volunteer at the shelter or something, he’d ask if I want to go with him and I definitely would every. single. time. We’d also probably watch animal movies together that we can’t watch in front of our other classmates cause we’ll probably cry at some point during them.

- Bakugou Katsuki -

Alright, hear me out. Bakugou and I probably wouldn’t be friends. At least, not in the way that he’s friends with Kirishima and Denki. But this raging idiot likes video games (very canonly), and ya girl fucking loves video games (first started playing computer games around age 3 and picked up my first handheld at age 5 and got my first console at age 6), and if you think I wouldn’t march right up to Bakugou Katsuki’s door and knock on that shit (completely disregarding the fact that we have never actually interacted in any way, shape, or form before this exact moment) and ask him if he wants to play video games with me, you would be mistaken. And after a few times of him rejecting me (and when he finally realized I am not a threat and won’t be better than him because even though I love video games that doesn’t mean I’m amazing at them), he’d finally play with me maybe once or twice a week. We’d hoard snacks in his room and play different kinds of video games and bitch about everything and everybody we’ve ever hated since we were old enough to be able to hate things. And then in class we’d go back to pretending like we’ve never interacted with each other before despite the fact that I’ve listened to him rant for 40 fucking minutes about how the cross-walk lights are rigged and how pressing the button on the post doesn’t actually make the light change any quicker. Maybe one day I’d be able to convince him to go camping with me, cause I heckin love camping, but if he thinks I’m going up any fucking mountains, then he must have a sense of humor because I definitely would not (I’m terrified of heights, but he doesn’t have to know that).

So yeah, out of all the kids in Class 1-A, these would probably be the ones I interacted with/became friends with based on our personalities and the things we enjoy, etc. I wouldn’t necessarily call them a “squad” because we probably wouldn’t really all hang out together, but I don’t really enjoy hanging out in big groups; I’m more of a one-on-one type person!

Hi! I adore your writing! Can I ask who you think are the biggest cat people vs dog people? Anyone you think would prefer different pets?

i know everyone has a preference and i would probably be a cat person if i wasn’t like. deathly allergic to them. so i avoid a lot of cat people hcs bc they are unattainable for me personally. but like. animals (especially dog and cat breeds) are my special interest

kirishima is the type to go for jogs with his rescue husky. i don’t accept criticism

20. Favorite Original Story Idea (Authored by Me): I’ve got 2/3 on my mind right now. (Because I can't pick favorites to save my life.)

#1 is Introvert city girl with a fear of dogs and her mom move to a small town where the random dogs out in the woods are bigger than average and a really cute boy takes a sudden interest in her. (spoiler alert--its werewolves. He’s a werewolf. Do you know how hard it is to tell your crush about your furry problem when they're afraid of dogs? Also, add in a mysterious organization that has a problem kidnapping adolescent werewolves and we’ve got ourselves half a plot ladies and gentlemen.)

#2 is about another introvert girl (surprise, surprise) in a zombie apocalypse. It’s been months since she’s seen another human being who doesn’t want to eat her. Her story starts when she happens upon an old radio and while fiddling with it one night, she accidentally tunes into a boys channel where four boys talk to each other. there’s a lot of introverting, reading, dogs, cold weather, dead people trying to eat her, looting, and listening to boys conversations over a walkie talkie that may or may not classify as creepy.

and #3 is just classic noble girl is sent as a spy into the enemy kingdom but everything goes to shit before she even walks in the door. Mission was simple. Be a kitchen girl, poison the King's food and kill him and then escape back home during the confusion. Instead, she gets the honor of becoming the Prince’s comfort woman/concubine after the last girl did an honor killing on herself. So, new mission. Get close enough to the Prince that he tells her information and then send that information back to her country so that they can win the war. (Passing secret information along is a little easier when it's not written down on paper but instead in flower crowns and bouquets as the secret language of flowers.)

Different jobs that My Hero Academia characters could have (as adults)

*LONG POST WARNING! MORE UNDER THE CUT*

1. Midoriya- The Good Cop™

Deku always wanted to save people and before One for All became a part of his life everyone advised him to simply go for the police. If he didn’t become a hero, he would probably become a policeman, and he’d probably make a damn good one, taking into account his perfect balance of righteousness, selflessness, and empathy. If all cops were like him, the world would be saved.

Midoriya: *holds back tears* I-it’s okay now... Because I am here...

2. Bakugou- The Impulsive Soldier

Is there any job that Bakugou could like doing more than fighting? He could initially struggle with being at the very bottom of the military hierarchy, but being put in his place for a while could perhaps help him get over his problems with accepting losing and help. And anyway, he’d climb up fast. After all, this boy’s strong and smart as heck. Just imagine him getting to drill the new recruits...

Bakugou: *yells* I’LL KILL YOU, LAZY SCUM!! 500 PUSH UPS, starting NOW!!

New recruit, terrified to the core: Aye sir!

3. Uraraka- Bob The Builder

Uraraka’s quirk would be perfect to use on a construction site. She’s a strong girl, practical and determined, and would even manage to deal with any potential accidents at work. Plus she comes from the working class, but that’s just an addition.

Uraraka: I can work hard and earn money for my parents this way too!

4. Todoroki- The Vengeful Firefighter

Get it? FIRE-FIGHTER. Now THAT would be a way to go against Endeavor and his plans, wouldn’t it? Tbh much sassier than becoming a hero.

Todoroki: It is then... *15 minutes of traumatic flashback* when I decided to devote the rest of my life to fighting fire. After all, it reminded me of my father... the reason I got this scar...

5. Tsuyu- The Lifeguard

Taking into account what hero internship Tsuyu chose, it is quite easy to determine what she would do with life if she wouldn’t become a hero. The sea is her area, and water is her friend. But she needs some contact with the land too like frogs do and she liked saving people so...

Tsuyu: Kero... *blows the whistle* Please get out of the water, a storm is coming!

6. Iida- The Pure Lawyer

Iida is the most Lawful Good person in existence, probably. He likes rules, knows them all, and is really dedicated to reminding others of them. Cases with his involvement would be guaranteed to be solved justly, regardless of the benefit of his client.

Iida: *gesticulation intensifies* Your honor, I urge you to consider Article 137, paragraph 3! And wear warmer clothes tomorrow, this weather can make you sick!

7. Kaminari- The Portable Phone Charger Disco Bartender

Kaminari is surely someone who likes people and a good party. Even if his quirk would make him perfect for an electrician, quite certainly he’d just regard it FAR TOO DULL. This boy wants to be COOL. He’d probably try to work his way up to a manager or owner of his own club; but with his intelligence stats, this could take a while. For now, he’d make SHOCKING drinks and chat with everyone around.

Kaminari: *obviously flirting with customers and showing off his cool electricity tricks* yEAH MY FUTURE CLUB WILL BE THE COOLEST! Imagine like... MEME THEMED PARTY

Customer: *quietly* That sounds kind of cringy...

8. Mina- The Kids Entertainer

Mina just seems like someone who’d be simply ADORED by kids. She’s sweet, bubbly, so so fun, and looks like she’s dressed up already! The Alien Queen parties would be booked months in advance. And every kid would dream of getting one for their birthday...

Mina: IF YOU’RE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT CLAP YOUR HANDS!

Kids: *climb on her back trying to touch the horns* ALIEN QUEEEEEN!!!

9. Kirishima & Testutetsu- The MMA stars

STRONG BOIS. MASCULINE BROS. GOTTA BE THE MANLIEST and gayest. MMA ROCKS AND HAS A HEART OF STEEL! Also Kirishima would be quickly voted the greatest cinnamon roll of MMA

Tetsutetsu: *screaming and wrestling*

Kirishima: *screaming and wrestling wholesomely*

10. Ojiro- The Veterinary Assistant

Ojiro isn’t the greatest fan of the spotlight, and probably would enjoy a calm, but helpful job as a veterinary assistant. Plus, his tail can give him instant connection points with scared, caudate pets!

Ojiro: *waggles his tail*

A normally aggressive dog: *waggles the tail back and jumps to lick his face*

Ojiro: *giggles, petting the dog* See, there’s nothing to be scared of!

11. Toru- The Shop Assistant actually secretly a CIA Covert Investigator but shhh it’s a secret

We know that Toru likes shopping and would probably be great as a boutique employee. She’s sweet, she has great social skills, and she certainly has style! But at the same time... it would be hard to believe that with her quirk she didn’t get a suggestion to become a spy alongside her job. Did she agree? Did she not? I guess we’ll never know...

Toru: You look amazing in this suit, Mr. President! I think you should really buy it! *places a tiny hidden camera inside the pocket*

12. Koda- The Wildlife Rehabilitator

There is no other job where the ability to talk to the animals would be more life-saving than a wildlife rehabilitator. Also, taking into account how shy Koda seems, he’d probably prefer to work with animals rather than humans...

Koda: Don’t worry, sweet bunny! You’re safe now!

Bunny: *noms on his plushie*

13. Aoyama- The Sparkling Model

Was there ever any doubt? Aoyama would be a STUNNING model. Just imagine...

*LIGHTS OFF*

*A REFLECTOR ILLUMINATES A SINGLE SPOT ON THE STAGE*

*EPIC MUSIC PLAYS, THE CROWD WHISPERS EXCITED*

14. Yaomomo- The Patient Teacher

Lecturing Mina and Kaminari among others before the exams just HAD to take lots of patience and supreme teaching skills. If she managed to make these two pass, she can definitely deal EVEN with a class of 30 10-year-olds.

Momo: *for the 13th time* Now, let’s try again! 2 times 3 is?

Some kid with IQ of Kaminari an ameba: ....4?

15. Jirou- The Sound Engineer

She’d definitely keep playing music as her hobby but she seems like a person who’d like to have a stable, technical job as her primary source of income nonetheless. Plus, her quirk would be perfect to hear out the slightest inadequacies of sound!

Jirou: So we have to add gain here, equalize there, distort over here, and probably remaster the whole thing too.

A very confused beginning artist: Uh-uh...

16. Tokoyami- The Subculture Shop Owner

Tokoyami is such a goth birb. So dramatic. So dark. If any goths or emos saw his room in the dorms they would all LOVE this aesthetic. As such, he’d make a good job at picking and selling clothes and accessories for fellow goths and other subcultures. And having Dark Shadow would just make him more famous...

Some goth girl: So you’re like... REALLY filled with a Dark Shadow of you? That’s so spooky!

Tokoyami, who already heard this question 20 times in the past 2 hours: What do you want to buy?

17. Sero- The Steeplejack

With that quirk, he pretty much wouldn’t have to worry about falling. Not to mention THE POWER OF FLEX TAPE

Sero: *swinging on the tape on top of a cathedral* This is pretty fun!

Other steeplejacks: *clinging to their ladders* Watch out!

18. Satou- The Pastry Cook

Mmmm his cakes. The world lost a treasure when Satou decided to be a hero instead of a pastry cook. Truly heartbreaking. Think of all the tasty things he would make constantly...

Class 1A, plotting behind his back: We have to make Satou fall out of the hero course

Satou, terrified: G-guys! I can bake you cakes without that!

19. Mineta- The Pimp *mild NSFW*

I am so sorry. Oh, wait, actually I’m not. Why is Mineta even trying to be a hero? I mean, should THAT be the job of his dreams?

Mineta: *manic laughter* OH MY IT’S LIKE A WET DREAM

20. Monoma- The Professional 4chaner Internet Troll Actually why did I cross it off, that’s exactly what he’d do

21. Shinsou- The Questionable Detective

Ah yes. The police for introverts. Like Midoriya, Shinsou would probably want to save people a lot, so I reckon he’ll choose this path if he wouldn’t become a hero. Just think of how useful his quirk could be...

22. Hatsume- The Weirdly Motherly Engineer

I mean, she sort of already is one... But she could probably design much more than just hero costumes! What if she went to robotics... Then her babies could actually talk back to her!

Another kinda obvious one? Oh well. She’d be happy and empowered doing that, so don’t judge.

27. Tomura- The Unemployed

Tomura’s personality doesn’t seem exactly suited for any kind of work... or society, for this matter. At least as long as All For One is around, he’d certainly rest on him, gaming his days away. And after that... even though his sensei already planned for him to take over his company, Tomura prefers not to think about that.

28. All For One- The Plotting CEO

All For One seems to love his suit and wears it quite well, so he could certainly do well at a largely formal, managing job. And he’d be the first to exploit ALL for ONE, something that large businesses unfortunately often do...

All For One: *ruining someone’s life and fortune with a smirk* How unfortunate... for you, of course.

29. Toga- The Professional Cosplayer

Toga’s quirk and erm... interests seem to be perfect for her to be a psycho fan of real-life celebrities, whose blood she steals for her cosplays. As these “cosplays” she makes are literally perfect, she manages to get quite a lot of money from the photoshoots. The celebrities are just very surprised noticing a fresh needle wound on their arm when they wake up in the morning...

Toga: *jumping up and down* I want to become them all! I will become them all! I want to cut them! Blood!

Okay this became more of Katsuki seducing you as a town baker more than some fluffy slow falling in love stuff so... It kinda got away from me ahaha

You were a simple girl really. Nothing out of the ordinary ever happened and if it did, it was a fleeting moment inside the long, arduous day. You’d wake up before the sun even rose, getting up to get ready before heading up to the lower floor of the building that held your bakery. You weren’t the only bakery in town, though, but that never deterred you from starting your own little business. Your parents were in the town over, close enough to help out from time to time, but most days, you were by yourself unless a few local friends stopped by to help out.

Today was like any other day, though, you always hoped someone other than the local wives and errand girls and boys would stop by. You hoped that maybe, just maybe, an interesting character would come in and give you a little taste of what the world was like outside of this dingy little town. Stocking the cookies and other pastries in the front cases you sighed, a little melancholy from the stagnant business. Sure you had your usuals and people you knew would come in and chat with you, but after a while it, it just got a little predictable you know? The same old crap was going on. Like, “Oh did you know the prince was looking for a wife?” or, “They said taxes would be going down soon! Maybe I’ll be able to buy that dress I’ve had my eye on!”

“Ugh, I wish something exciting would happen!” You groaned, the empty bakery seeming to ignore you.

Leaning on the counter, you sulked until you felt something nudge your arm. Looking up lazily you saw your cat, Beanie, looking at you with unimpressed eyes. You knew he just wanted that other half of minced fish from this morning. Sighing, you proceeded to go into the back and grab the covered dish from your cooling area in the back. Just as you set down the bowl in front of the cat you heard the bell on the door ring.

Rushing out to the front you saw that it was Mrs.Rivers, a middle aged lady from down the way who had 5 children already. You groaned thinking about all the trouble her kids got into all the time, mostly because she always came in here talking about it. Most of the time she talked about her kids, but occasionally she came into the bakery to share with you some recipes and the rare bits of gossip she’d heard around the town. This time she looked as if she’d seen a ghost as she quickly rushed over to the counter.

“(Y/N) dear! Have you heard??” She asked with her voiced laced with panic. You knitted your brows together in confusion.

“Have I heard what?” You asked, unsure of what she meant. “Why are you so scared?”

“There’s a barbarian from the Dragonlands spotted just outside of town!” She shrieked, fumbling with her hands. “And they say he’s been known to cause havoc everywhere he goes!”

“Oh I’m sure it’s not all that bad… “ You brushed it off, knowing that the woman was known for her gossip and stories. “Everyone likes to exaggerate.”

“Oh but it’s true!! The mayor said for everyone to stay indoors if they see the man!” She insisted.

Her hands suddenly found yours, holding them tightly over the bakery counter. You looked at her quizzically, unsure of what to even do to respond. It was odd just how serious she was taking all of this… Surely this guy wasn’t as bad as she was saying? Sure the Dragonlands were a little scary and normal humans never strayed there out of fear for the dragon tribe, but that didn’t mean they could be inherently bad right? You weren’t too sure, but that could’ve been because you were a little naive. And honestly, you were fully aware of that fact.

“Please, (Y/N), take my warning to heart and stay safe.”

You were about to say something when she made her leave, quickly going out the way she came and leaving with the door to the bakery sounding. With a shrug you turned back to the rows of pastries on the rack. Why should you be so careful? It’s not like a big ol bad guy would come to a bakery or anything like that… Plus your little shop was hardly noticeable on top of it. You decided not to take much of it too seriously, but out of caution, grabbed the crossbow your dad leant you in the back of the shop to keep behind the counter. You were pretty sure you wouldn’t need it, but there’d be no telling what your parents would tell you if you had to shut down your shop because you had been robbed. With your skills, you were sure you could give any brute a run for their money.

Gazing out the store window you saw others scurrying along the cobblestone path, a little more hurried you noticed, due to the rumor floating around town. You couldn’t name all the times people got scared because someone had let loose some sort of rumor. For all they knew, it could’ve been a rumor started by the town drunk or all people. Or least you forget one of the school boys literally crying wolf because a neighbor’s dog had wandered into the boy’s yard after a hunting trip covered in blood and mud. That one got everyone up in a tizzy.

A sigh flew past your lips until you heard the door’s bell sound. You jolted upright and focused your eyes on the person who decided to pay your bakery a visit. Your breath caught in your throat upon gazing at the bare chest of, who you assumed to be, the so called barbarian. He seemed a little annoyed as he made his way to the counter, probably due to the fact that no other shop was open at the moment. Only you were brave/stupid enough to keep your doors open.

“Oi, get me a few loaves of bread.” The bare chested male barked hoarsely. He lazily slammed a handful of silver coins on the counter causing you to jump.

“S-Sure!” Crap. You stuttered that out like a nervous fool, and as you scrambled to pack a cloth bag with some of your fresh loaves of bread you hoped he didn’t catch you staring at him earlier. Your cheeks burned as you tied the cloth in a neat little knot and handed it over to him.

“You got any meat or cheese here?” He asked you, a frown painted on his lips as he looked around cautiously. His eyes locked with yours for a second and you quickly averted your gaze away from what you could only describe as his smoldering eyes.

“No, but I have this pastry here that has a sort of cream cheese-”

“Okay whatever give me one of those, too.” He grumbled cutting you off and putting a few extra coins on the counter.

You took a pair of tongs and pulled out a single one of the cream cheese danishes that you had in the case before sliding it in with the loaves of bread. Barely starting to count the coins on the counter the boy grabbed the bag and left before you could finish counting and giving him the proper change. He left without another word, and you then realized he had given you more than enough for just the few loaves of bread and danish. You stood there, slack jawed and a little flustered from the whole exchange. It wasn’t long before Mrs. Rivers and some of the other local wives came in asking all about it. You couldn’t tell them much about the mysterious, yet gorgeous visiter to your shop.

It had been a few weeks, but you had grown used to his visitations. The day after your first meeting he had returned, blush dusting his cheeks as he placed, this time, a few coins on the counter and asked for the pastry you had given him before. He didn’t know the name of it, but as he looked at you with a childlike want you couldn’t help but think how cute it was that such a scary man like him could have a little bit of a sweet tooth. As soon as you had handed him the treat he left just as silently, and abruptly as he did the first time.

From then on he came in and got the same thing, along with a few loaves of bread here and there when he’d come in around mid morning and sometimes the evening if you were lucky. He didn’t talk much, but you enjoyed seeing him nonetheless. And after a while you had gotten a few answers out of him about his life. You found out, weirdly enough, that he was a normal human just like everyone else in town, but traveled with a dragon tribe member who was too… scary? Or rather he was so different looking that he attracted way too much attention whenever they stopped in towns.

Today you had gotten up like any other day, though you were a little early when it came to baking and got done a little before you were supposed to open. So you wandered into the field just behind the shop where a few of the kids played in from time to time. But no one was awake yet, so it gave you time to appreciate the sunrise at its fullest. Walking down to the river you spotted someone, very familiar you’d like to say, as you walked the gravel path. It wasn’t until you got close enough in the early morning haze to realize just who it was. Your breath was caught once more as you saw your usual gruff visitor wading out into the river seemingly rinsing off in the cool waters.

Blood rushed to your face and you quickly made your exit only to run face first into something very hard. Falling back on your arse you squeezed your eyes shut in the momentary pain before you could move past it to look up at what, or rather whom, you had run into. A gasp ripped from your throat when you looked up to see the lightly scaled face of someone who you could only assume as the friend from the dragon tribe. He gave you a confused look, obviously expecting you to scream of something of that caliber. You didn’t, however, only opting to simply sit there and gawk at him. He seemed to fluster slightly under your intense gaze and shifted uncomfortably from side to side.

“Can I… help you…?” He asked suddenly, clearing his throat. You suddenly realized how much you were staring and quickly averted your gaze to the side.

“O-Oh! Sorry I saw him, over there, in the river and recognized him so i was going to…” You trailed off, trying not to sound like you were trying to peep at the ashen haired male by the water. The explanation earned you an amused chuckle, as the dragon tribe boy scratched the scales along his arm he nodded seemingly to understand.

“You know Katsuki? He’s not really sociable so I didn’t think he’d know someone as cute and unassuming as you.” He commented unabashedly. You felt your cheeks heat up even more at his words.

You were about to reply when you heard footsteps behind you and craned your neck to see the familiar face of your regular at the bakery. He looked… confused as to why you were here, but otherwise didn’t seem mad about it. You realized from the first week in seeing him that it was pretty easy to understand his emotions, even when he constantly looked pissed off it was really just how his face was. So looking up at him you tried to quickly come up with an excuse to explain just w h y you were here to begin with.

“Sorry I was going down to the river to get some water for my cat a-and saw you there, but then I forgot to actually grab the bucket so I went to go back and…” You cursed at your luck for stumbling over your words.

“I didn’t ask but okay,” he said simply, making you feel like your fib was completely useless, “and don’t you open soon?”

“Crap, you’re right!” You yelped jumping up. “I forgot to set up the pastry case!”

Grabbing your skirts you went to hurry off to the shop, leaving the two behind in your haste you completely forgot that you had dropped your keys to the shop when you fell. Feeling around for your keys you muttered phrases of dismay upon realizing that they were absent from your possession. You heaved a defeated sigh until you felt a hand on your hip that guided you to the side albeit a little harshly before a arm jutted out and unlocked the back door for you. You squeaked out a few confused noises before realizing it was Katsuki, or so you believed his name was from what you gathered from his friend.

“Get your ass moving already.” He chided.

With a quick thank you his way you made your way inside to gather the pasty lining for the case, grabbing a fist full of flower to fling onto the paper as you set it down inside the case before hurriedly setting up pastries in a neat row for each kind. You heard rustling in the back before you put together that the boy was still in the back room. Pausing your work you poked your head into the back and saw him pulling a tray of bread off the top oven and put it onto the cooling rack, wrinkling his nose at the smell of slightly burnt bread. Oops…

“Ah, you can toss those! I guess I left them in a little too long.” You laughed nervously.

He waved you off, saying something about how he’d just give them to his friend, seeing as how he ate nearly anything anyways. You chuckled at this, unsure of how you should take that. Maybe you’d give him a few extra pastries today for troubling him. Why did he decide to help little ol you anyways?? You were sure he had better things to do than help over at a bakery.

Once you had set up the pastry case, you hurried into the back to set the empty tray back onto the cooling rack, unsure of where to put it at the moment. You then went over to the center island in the kitchen to finish mixing a new icing that you had tried to start before you left to do take your little break… it seemed like it had soaked up everything nicely as the mixture whipped easily in the bowl. Whisking the rest up, you moved to grab a filling bag when you found yourself nose to nose with Katsuki. He didn’t seem fazed at all, in fact, you were sure he was waiting behind you for this very moment as his arms rested on the counter behind you, effectively caging you in.

“Ah, you…” Your words died in your mouth as he leaned in. Squeezing your eyes shut you felt a wetness at the corner of your mouth before it traveled slightly towards your cheek, the coolness that came after it sending goosebumps across your body. Gods, did you get the icing on your face while mixing it so quickly?? You must’ve because he went over the spot again, though, a little slower this time. Suddenly your head felt dizzy and the heat that washed over your face was unfamiliar.

As soon as he pulled away, you cracked open one of your eyes to get a glimpse of what his expression was. You found, very quickly, that it was nothing short of smug as he inspected his work. And just like that he walked off and into the front of the store, leaving you confused, flustered, and more than a little aroused. What the hell just happened?

Holding your face in your hands you tried to calm the raging blush that had spread like fire across your cheeks. As you were trying to get over the whole incident, he walked back into the back where you were, acting as if nothing had even happened a few seconds ago. You looked at him with a half glare, and while he passed you, you swore you saw him smirk. The air was… thick, much like the icing as you tried to fill the icing bag. Though, as soon as you started to get back into your usual groove and managed to push your wandering thoughts out of your head, it seemed to happen all over again.

What was that about you being cute and unassuming again? Well, that dragon boy was right about the unassuming part, because you had managed to get caught between Katsuki’s arms again, but this time, you were sure you weren’t going to get away anytime soon. His hot mouth was on yours quickly, the icing bag now set aside on the counter. Nibbling on your bottom lip he went from kissing your lips to kissing the corner of your mouth, to leading all the way down your jawline while you tried to hold in any unsavory noises. You wanted to push him away, but how many times had you let your thoughts wander to something like this the past two weeks? It was selfish, but when were you going to have another chance?

When his teeth grazed the spot just below your ear you left out a surprised squeak. You could feel his coy smile against your neck, the hot feeling of blood rushing to your cheeks becoming all too familiar. Gripping his shoulders you tried to keep yourself from falling since you were very sure your knees were going to give out at any moment. Many thoughts were racing through your head at the moment, but one in particular stood out more than any other else.

You were sure no one would mind if the shop opened a little late today.
