+ first of all.. i’m so sorry for taking so long. i added a little bonus as an apology, ‘cause you were one of my first requests, yet i hadn’t gotten to you. lets just pretend the timeline is correct and this could happen please </3

when coach oomi has asked you to look in to the opponent and bring some information about them to the team, you immediately started digging in to them.

so when it was announced that their next opponent was mujinazaka high with one of the top three aces, wakatsu kiryu, you started looking for their weak spots.

they were a pretty solid team, but they had gaps that were easy to spot.

like how they relied a bit too much on their ace.

you didn’t think you’d be done by morning since they were a powerhouse team with not that much information about them, yet here you were with a bunch of folders with all their information.

to say that the boys and the coach were slightly shocked was an understatement.

aran came over to you and took some of the weight off your arms, handing them over to his teammates to look through.

“so, i tried finding as much information about them i could, and this is what i came with,” you announced, a smile on your face as you saw their focused eyes go over the pages.

“good job, _____. i didn’t expect you to have this much information is such short time.” coach oomi looked at you with a smile, happy with what you brought.

you smiled brightly, hands behind your back as bowed quickly, thanking him for the compliment and acknowledgement.

“this is really helpful, _____. thank you.” kita had raised his head and gave you a nod with a tiny smile on his face.

you waved your hand in front of your face, closing your eyes quickly and brushing it off. “it’s nothing, guys. this is the only time i can really show my worth to the team.”

and a second later atsumu was besides you with an arm around your shoulders, pressing you tightly against his side.

“couldn’t hear ya. what did the best and sweetest manager ever say?”

you felt the redness leak in to your cheeks as you laughed shyly, hiding your face behind your hands. “stop it!”

“for once in his life, ‘tsumu’s right. don’t sell yourself short. you’re pretty amazing, y’know.” osamu said while closing the folder in his hands, offering you a tiny smile.

“you really can’t go a day without saying shit about me, can’tcha?” atsumu huffed, glaring at his twin who just shrugged.

‘tsumu, please know that i adore the fuck out of you <3

it was easy to say that they were insanely grateful though.

so much that the miya’s shared their food with you and that kita had asked his grandmother to knit you a little scarf with the softest material ever.

suna cracked a smile and aran gave you a little head pat which had you smiling from ear to ear.

mission accomplished.

“so, how exactly did our sweet manager find all of this?” atsumu asked as he flipped through the folder, his back against the gym wall where some of you were gathered.

“i know some guys who went against them one time,” you said, smiling at the thought of being in the fukurodani gym while konoha, bokuto and akaashi filled you in on the team along with sarukui and washio.

“so they’re pretty good?” aran asked, leaned back with his hands propped up behind his back.

you nodded frantically, a smirk appearing on your face. “they’d probably beat us,” you mumbled, looking down as you heard an audible gasp ring through the gym.

“when i say that i feel betrayed!” you turned your head towards atsumu and saw him watch you with wide eyes, but you could see the smile threatening to show.

“we’ll see who’s better when we’ll go against them some time,” osamu said, the competitiveness he shared with his brother showing.

“you gonna show how we’re the greatest challengers?” suna snorted, his slanted eyes watching the guys with a raised brow and you couldn’t help but stifle your laugh at suna’s comment.

it wasn’t hard to hear the sarcasm leaking off his words; everyone in the team knew he hated that nickname, while the rest didn’t really care.

kita and you however loved it, and made sure to tell the guys why.

you heard atsumu groan and throw his head back. “now ya did it.” osamu shook his head as he heard kita starting to talk about how it was an honour to have a nickname like that.

“just stay quiet the next time, you wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man,” atsumu mumbled under his breath.

it was easy to say that atsumu would need an ice pack for the rest of the day while everyone was clutching their stomachs and laughing as much as they could.

SOOOOOOO I did goto Bronycon 2017. I would’ve made a “Going to Bronycon” post, but the story behind this was that I was kicking myself all week for not making plans to go. And on Thursday, I simply decided “screw it I’m going” and drove up Friday morning! Next year I will plan better haha.

But holy moly am I glad I went! I met up with a lot of great artists and folks I’ve interacted online with over the years. The pictures above are from:

Battleground preview

Look, I’ll be honest, I didn’t care much about this show before the G1 Climax started and I sure don’t care now. I am legit more interested in Naito vs. Fale, which is a feud with a 24-hour build about Fale tearing up a stuffed cat, and it’s not even Naito’s cat. But the show, as they say, must go on.

Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton - This is a “Punjabi prison” match for Mahal’s WWE championship. Orton lost the title to Jinder in May and lost the rematch in June. He probably wouldn’t get a third match, but he was determined to since Mahal and the Singh brothers attacked his father, Bob Orton. It’s sort of like Bob Orton is a stuffed cat that Randy felt especially attached to, and then some asshole went and ripped the stuffing out of it for no good reason. Anyway, to get this third match he agreed to let Mahal choose the rules. It’s fair to assume that if Orton loses this time, he’ll be out of the title picture for a while.

The Punjabi prison is a pair of bamboo cages--an inner cage attached to the ring frame, and an larger one surrounding the ringside area. The match starts in the ring and the object is to be the first competitor to escape to the floor outside the outer cage. The inner cage has doors on all four sides; a wrestler can ask the official to open any door, but only for sixty seconds, and after that it the door is closed for the rest of the match. If you can’t get out one of the doors you’ll have to climb over the inner cage to escape it. The outer cage has no doors and can only be escaped by climbing.

The psychology of the prison is that Mahal is automatically an expert in this type of match by virtue of his family coming from Punjab. So we’re meant to think Orton is out of his element and will struggle with dangers unique to this structure, when in reality he’s been in plenty of cage matches and this really isn’t so different. The most novel aspect of the Punjabi prison--the gimmick with the doors--is cute but hard to work into a real story, especially since both men would have no difficulty climbing over the top of each cage.

The only reason for Mahal to lose right now is so Orton can get the title just long enough for Baron Corbin to use his Money in the Bank contract to steal it away from him. At this point I don’t think WWE sees a net gain in switching from Mahal to Corbin, so I wouldn’t expect that for a while. It’s more likely Jinder will get a decisive victory to finally end the feud, and head into Summerslam with plenty of momentum to face a new challenger. I can definitely picture Jinder vs. John Cena as the top Smackdown match for Summerslam, and if that’s the plan there’s no reason not to put Mahal over decisively here.

John Cena vs. Rusev - This is a flag match, so Cena’s US flag will be set up on one ringpost and Rusev’s Bulgarian flag will be set up in the opposite corner, and the first man to retrieve his own flag wins. I don’t even know why they’re doing this, except Cena loves America and Rusev was talking shit about America, so I guess you can pretend America is a lovable, snuggly, lazy-eyed stuffed cat and then it makes sense. There’s not much to this except an excuse for Cena to get a post-match spot triumphantly waving Old Glory, so yeah, he’s gonna win.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Lana vs. Natalya vs. Tamina - This is a five-way match to decide the #1 contender for Naomi’s Smackdown women’s title. There are no count-outs or disqualifications, and whoever scores the first fall on any opponent will win the match. I’m just saying, what did that cat ever do to you, Fale? Why do you have to be a huge prick all the time? You wanna come down to WWE and beat up Bayley’s wacky waving inflatable tube men? Wait, I guess that’d be Raw, and this is Smackdown. Who gives a shit? Charlotte’s going to win.

Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso vs. any two of Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods & Big E - The Usos are defending the Smackdown tag team championship, and the New Day never reveal which two members of the team will wrestle until the match is starting. There’s really nowhere for either team to go from here except a rematch at Summerslam, so my prediction is the outcome will not matter at all. Remember when the New Day had a trombone they loved and somebody broke it and it was a big deal, but they just brought out a second trombone and everybody just moved on? I wish I could do that. But Daryl wasn’t a trombone, he was a cat with a clown wig.

AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens - Styles won the United States championship from Owens a couple of weeks ago, so this is the rematch. Kevin Owens is a dick like Bad Luck Fale, but then again Styles used to run around with Fale in Bullet Club so fuck both of these guys. AJ retains, but the betting lines go back and forth so there’s a bunch of intrigue for the morons who bet on pro wrestling.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin - Shit, Corbin is almost exactly like Bad Luck Fale, in that he’s a useless sack of shit but he’s tall and grumpy so they want to push him, but the only way to push him is to have him do jerk-ass stuff anybody could do. Corbin keeps beating up Nakamura, who is the closest thing Smackdown has to an adorable kitty with floppy arms and a belly full of cotton. Say, did you know Bad Luck Fale once held the IWGP intercontinental championship, until Nakamura kicked his ass? I like Nakamura. I hope he wins, but life is not always fair.

Sami Zayn vs. Mike Kanellis - Kanellis used to be Mike Bennett in ROH, and his primary talent is “being married to Maria Kanellis.” I can’t remember anything about any of his matches except noticing that Maria is particularly clever in how she plays “super hot woman in the heel corner.” Since I assume WWE is going to tone down Maria’s skimpy outfits, it’ll be interesting to see how the act evolves from here. I mean, not as interesting as the issue of whether Hiromu Takahashi can get a one-on-one match with Fale to avenge Daryl, even though they’re in different weight classes. But I’m trying to think of nice things to say about this match I don’t care about. Kanellis isn’t going to lose his first PPV match, or at least he shouldn’t.

Tyler Breeze & Fandango vs. Ghosts or Aliens or Ghost Aliens - Breezango think they’re the fashion police which means they think they’re real police which means they think they’re every TV lawman cliche in history. They’ve got an “office” that keeps getting wrecked, so they’ve been investigating that case for weeks. They’re running out of suspects so the leading theory is that ghost aliens are responsible. All that is known is that the guilty party have issued a challenge for this match.

By the way, the ghost aliens kidnapped and beheaded Breezango’s hobby horse Tully. Just like Bad Luck Fale eviscerated Daryl...dammit, why can’t anything good ever happen in this cruel world? Is it you, Fale? Are you fucking with Breeze and Fandango too? What is your problem, you misanthropic mountebank?

Anyway, I hope Breezango can avenge Tully, and maybe they can wear armbands in a show of solidarity with Daryl’s next of kin, LIJ.

Aiden English vs. Tye Dillinger - This is set for the pre-show. Dillinger is the undisputed king of the curtain jerkers, so I guess he wins. I don’t know. I need some time alone. RIP Daryl.

High School!Namjoon

And now it is time for our amazing leader, my lowkey spirit animal, a total precious bundle of giggles like I can watch the “yellow card” video over and over again bc his giggles are so cute and I love that the entire time he’s just sitting there giggling bc chim did something cute like how is someone so precious, Kim Namjoon aka Rap Monster aka joon

This will be an extension of the teenager series (for the teen!Namjoon post, click here) the original post focused on the relationship, like the first meeting, the confession all of that fluffy stuff so this post is gonna be filling the gap in and saying what I think he’d be like as a high school student

Okay but predebut!joon is so fucking cute like he has the same thing going on that the other boys do, he still has a bit of his bby chub, he’s still gotta grow into his features a lil more, cheekbones weren’t as sharp etc. all of the typical things but it’s really really adorable he looks so squishy

His cheeks were (and are) s o kissable and soft and I just wanna squish them bc they look so cute I love squishy cheeks so much

Gotta do black hair!joon for this bc I feel like we haven’t had black hair!joon in a while (I’m not complaining a t a l l bc I love dyed hair!joon with all my heart) and also predebut!joon had dark hair and I’m trying to keep it somewhat close to reality but it all works out bc I love black/dark hair!joon

Okay so Namjoon’s fashion is always changing and evolving, one day he’s wearing all black the next he’s in a bright pink shirt, one day he’s in black jeans the next he’s in overalls and I have to give joon some applause for taking risks and wearing whatever HE wants to wear bc his fashion is another form of expression and I love that he’s sending out the message of just do you (wink wink)

Some of my personal favorite Kim Dailys are when he’s in all black, there’s this one picture where he’s in all black but then there’s just a pop of pink from his hair and it’s so aesthetically pleasing but my all time favorite has to be this one picture is where he’s in a black tank top, black shorts and he’s got a headband on and glasses and he’s got the blondish hair going on and it’s just so wo W he looks so boyfriend in his Kim Daily posts and it makes me want to scream

HS!joon is always trying new things out and he loves finding new clothes or a new accessory like this one time you give him a hat for his birthday and he wears that thing for like three weeks straight bc he loves you and he loves hats so it’s all perfecT

Okay so Namjoon is really really friendly but he doesn’t make friends with everyone he walks next to so he has zero issues with becoming friends with someone and speaking to them first but he likes staying somewhat close to his group, the boys will always be his b e s t friends (and of course, you but you’re a lil more than a friend)

Namjoon likes to hang out with the kids that are pushed out of cliques for being different or ‘aren’t cool enough’ bc fuck that, no he’s gonna be friends with them and he’s gonna show them that not everyone cares about how much money they have or don’t have or how popular they are

And lowkey head canon that he’s super sarcastic with the 'popular’ clique that are all really arrogant and cocky so he gives them these really fake smiles when they talk to him, the type of fake that you know is fake so they can see he’s not having their shit and every single word is dripping with sarcasm and Yoongi’s helping him and they’re both just slowly but surely putting the clique in their place

Namjoon is totally the type to stick up for others around bullies like he’s tall and broad and he’s got that deep voice so he can easily psych the bully out and get them to leave the other person alone

Namjoon is obviously in the music club, he loves music so much but I also feel like he’d be in the fashion club maybe bc Namjoon seems like he’s really interested in different styles and different looks so he’d definitely try it out

He’s the president of the music club and everyone loves him in both clubs and he loves having people around him that are interested in the same things that he is like the people in the music club know about so many different artists and everyone’s always trading song suggestions and the fashion club is so open to different fashion styles like you have one kid that forever wears all black, there’s someone that likes to go for a nice dress and has a more vintage style he likes the quirky people that have something they love

I’m not sure Namjoon and sports should go together bc Namjoon has been given a certain nickname (god of destruction) and idk if giving him a ball and telling him to kick/throw/hit it is a good idea bc that sounds like a pretty good way to end up with a broken window and/or limb

Prom with Namjoon is so cute though like joon would be such a sweet boyfriend and he makes you feel so special the entire night like his eyes never leave you, his arm’s around your waist and he’s just so proud to be standing next to you and to be able to say yes hi I’m the boyfriend

He’s so !!! when he sees you like there are so many emotions, at first it’s all cute and his eyes are all bright and he’s so happy and in awe and then he gets this smirk and just does the “ok” hand motion and very blatantly checks you out

“NiCE”

He gets you a single rose (cue the cheesy line of “bc there’s only one you”) and is super happy to pose for pictures bc “in twenty years, we’ll look back on these pictures with our kids and tell them how I was the best prom date of the century”

Namjoon gets super hype at prom tbh like we’ve all seen what happens when Namjoon hears music, he goes crazy and just starts up the flailing limbs like his dance he did back in the WOH era where he was just whipping his arms back and forth and even got Jimin to join in with him

Or the iconic dance he did on Weekly Idol where he had the really long jacket sleeves and just kinda flopped around and flailed them all over the place and he looked like one of those air dancers (I had to look up the name of them using the joke about wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man from Family Guy apparently they’re called air dancers I learn something new every day)

He ends up losing his tie at some point and he doesn’t even realize it until he’s leaving and goes to fix his tie bc it “feels loose”

He and Jin start a dance off and somehow Yoongi gets roped into it and then Taehyung’s doing the worm in the middle of the dance floor while Jimin’s rolling around laughing and Jungkook’s challenging Tae by saying he can do a way better worm but it’s all adorable and Namjoon gets you to join him and Jin gets his date involved so now everyone just wiggling around with their dates

And of course the slow dancing is so sweet and soft and it’s super giggly bc you two keep stepping on each other’s feet and Namjoon just gets this huge smile and his entire face is lit up and he’s playfully singing along to the music off key just so he can hear you laugh

High school!joon is super sweet and kind and he’s really just a gentle giant and loves to make the people that feel left out feel included with him and he also just really really loves you
