I’ve been wanting to reopen commissions soon but I rly need to make new examples, maybe try to figure out what ppl are most interested in (I think my most commissioned items are always icons, so? Those will be included) and what I can do…I also want to refigure my prices. Like I do want them to be affordable, and I do love drawing for ppl, but I also want to make sure I have the bandwidth + time for them and also feel like I’m being compensated properly since I do have a job now so they would be the Side Thing aaa TwT
but I’m finally at a place where I feel like. Not burnt out after every week and I’m in a nice routine now and pretty used to my job, so I feel like I can handle more on the side. Very excited abt that. Not excited abt making new examples or figuring out what I wanna offer etc tho I hate the logistics of commissions. Part of me wants to do a pay what u want thing with a set minimum and maybe start exclusively offering them thru kofi since it’s so easy, but we’ll see!!
I look to maybe open them around June so like. If anyone is interested, I’d love to hear what kind of stuff u guys would want? 🤨

• Bob would definitely love having such a crafty worker, often watching as you doodle away on your notepad and folding origami out of napkins. Sometimes your little sketches even go missing when you aren’t looking… He likes to hang them on his fridge at home, or in his office. Bob often showers you in compliments, watching as you thank him with a humble smile. Just seeing you smile at him only fuels him on, resulting in even more compliments. You slowly begin to grow flustered, hiding your face underneath the brim of your hat. Bob finds it adorable, seeing his darlin’ so overwhelmed by his love.
• Your coworkers often ask you for little bracelets and doodles, glowing with curiosity when you doodle at work. He’s jealous that you don’t draw him or make him anything like that, but one day when you come into work, you hand him a finished drawing of himself. You even made him a charm for his keys! “I made these for you. I thought it was fair, seeing as you’re always so nice to me and what not…”
• Bob is silent as he shakily takes them from you, watching intensely as you begin to cower into yourself. “Um… I’m sorry if you don’t like it. I can take it back—!” You try to reach for the paper and charm, only to be scooped into Bob’s arms. You squeaked in surprise, having the air squeezed out of your lungs as Bob spun you around. He kept thanking you over and over, hearty laughter spilling from him. “Thank you, thank you, Sweet pea! I’ll treasure this forever!”
• For the rest of the day, he’ll show it off to anyone that’ll listen, especially your coworkers. Bob swells with pride as you swat his arm, embarrassed. He keeps showing it to EVERYONE, and when you mean everyone, you mean everyone. Bob only begs you for more drawings and cute charms/accessories, his heart beating out of his chest when he realizes the amount of effort you pour into your work. Bob’s your biggest fan, and he’s glad to hold that title when you tease him about it.

QSMP community positivity because the streamer awards made me so happy

QSMP Digital Artist - Ate and left NO crumbs ever omg. The amount of detail, varying styles, and epic scenes are my favorite. The variety of art styles for QSMP artist is like just going to a buffet to browse and they're all special little dishes made with so much love.
QSMP Tradtional Artist - HOW CAN YOU DRAW/PAINT SOME OF THIS STUFF?? Watercolor paintings of QSMP bulids, notebook spreads with cute little details, the fact that you can draw traditionally at all. All so talented.
QSMP Beginner Artist - NEVER GET DISCOURAGED <33. Everyone was a beginner at some point and seeing people improve over time with their art is so cool. I consider myself still a beginner even though I've been drawing for a couple years now lol. There is still so much for me to learn, and the fact how kind the qsmp art community is makes me so happy. Keep improving, your art looks great <3
QSMP Fanfiction Authors - I don't know whether to compliment you or ask for my therapy payment (/lh). So many authors have ripped my heart out and left it out to dry and others are like a bucket of fluff and joy. I love both of these. The writing quality is genuinely amazing on so many of these. I love to visualize when reading and with all the details it's basically just watching a movie.
QSMP Web Weavers - You guys are AMAZING. Finding so many quotes, transcripts, fanarts, aesthetic photos, and being able to combine them in a way that represents characters so well is beautiful. Not to mention the fact how your able to put credits for everything in an easy to find way??? Perfect.
QSMP Moodboards/Stimboard makers - These are so cute aaaa. I love seeing them, all the little collections of photos or gifs of characters I like is very fun.
QSMP Poll Accounts - I LIVE for taking polls. It's just fun to have a place to put an opinion you had for yourself that you didn't know how to put unprompted on your own post. Seeing results after a while also makes me happy to see what as a general consensus the fandom is on.
QSMBLR and QSMPTWT users - Transferring information from one hellsite to the other, I admire anyone who can survive in the discourse trenches and come back with account updates.
QSMP Clip accounts - I love seeing silly clips of cubitos, and especially those with transcripts and translations. It's a lot of effort and I admire that. Gives me so much info I would've missed otherwise.
QSMP translators - As someone still currently learning the other languages, it is so helpful when people translate it. Sometimes your brain just hurts and you can only read your native language. Also anyone who translates things from English to other languages, yes please make it for other speakers.
QSMP Multi-Shippers - It's so fun to see these, yes give your cubito 7 different romantic/platonic partners. You guys collect ships like Pokémon and it is inspiring
QSMP Cosplayers - I respect cosplayers so much. The wigs, the makeup, the costume, the PROPS?? All take so much work it's amazing to see final products. I reccently tried making a scythe for one I want to do, and I was struggling. Y'all are so cool.
QSMP Character Analysis Posts - Keeping fanfiction accuracy and my personal view on characters as close to canon as possible. These help so much when I need to look for a character I haven't watched much and easy to read.
QSMP Livebloggers - Save me from losing track of lore when I'm busy. I swear some of you just never sleep (please do but thank you for information). The amount of stuff I can figure out from vague post of combined livebloggers makes it much easier to know what's happening. Most of my mutual liveblog a lot and it saves me so much time <3
QSMP Rebloggers - KEEPING THIS FANDOM ALIVE‼️‼️ Tumblrs algorithm is based on reblogs, accounts that are just lurkers rb stuff ily. Hell yeah man, take all the cool stuff and share it.
QSMP Animatics - Movie night exists because of you guys!! Sometimes you all make me want to sob violently or laugh till I can't breathe. The differences in each video is so fun to see. The effort in each one is just beautiful too, animatics are NOT easy.
QSMP Editors - The fact that people can take a cube game and turn into epic/sad/cute edits with a few clips, transitions, and audios astounds me. You guys are so cool and I love seeing them. Also the fanart edits are so sick, finding the best ones to match.
QSMP Fan Video Creators - Stuff like the Federation Welcoming Workers Video, that one cucrucho cereal video, things like that. Quality is usually amazing and all the unique takes or camera work is epic. Idk what else fits in this genre but I just wanted to mention it.
QSMP RP Accounts - Seeing other people's takes on characters are so interesting and fun to see. RP is a skill I need to work on and it's done pretty well with these accounts. The amount of detail y'all can put is insane.
QSMP OC creators - Cringe culture is dead, I love seeing people make their little characters interact with eachother based on the QSMP. Keep it up and pls share it.
QSMP 3D Animators/Modelers - I never expirence more joy than when I see a 3D model of a qsmp rat spinning around. Also any 3D animators your dedication is insane. I tried learning 3D animation once and that was a STRUGGLE.
QSMP Vod savers/YT summaries -Actual lifesavers, there is no way I could've been apart of this community without them. Watching a few videos a day about what happened on the server makes it easier for me to actually do other things. Also that one person who made a QSMP2023 summary in UNDER 10 minutes, you are insane and did such a great job.
QSMP Accounts in Different Languages - QSMPBLR is heavily more English speaking than other languages, and when people main tag with post in different languages it makes me so happy. This was the point of the server, to let people post in whatever language they wanted. It's also fun for me to practice and try to translate it for myself.

Bowser doesn't really have any allies in my AU. King Boo and his boos are a really small community of creatures in comparison to Bowsers kingdom. And they mostly just stay in their forest and mind their own business. And yes sometimes troops go into that forest and King Boo takes them. But Bowser doesn't care about a few measly troops disappearing. It would only be a problem if huge clusters of troops went missing.
Point is though, King Boo and Bowser have no alliance. They just kind'a leave each other alone.
As for King Bomb Omb and King Thwomp? I pictured them to be mega troops created by Kamek. Thwomps are supposed to be these enormous bricks from an old temple that were brought to life. Perhaps King Thwomp is a huge wall of bricks that didn't separate when they were brought to life? King Bomb Omb could be the same. A giant experimental bomb omb that was brought to life.
In the end, King Thwomp and King Bomb Omb were created to serve Bowser. He treats and uses them as tools. Nothing more really..

I just wanted to say thank you for making this blog and answering people's questions! My girlfriend is ace not aro, but we've still had a few (well-meaning) friends be confused about how it works. My best friend has told me that they don't understand how I am satisfied without sex, because to them it's one of the founding parts of a romantic relationship. I am definitely allo, but I know I don't have a "conventional" view of sex, since I have always believed you should be able to fully be satisfied by yourself, and that if you have someone who's willing to do anything it is more of a bonus. So I'm not really missing anything, we just do other things together that we are both comfortable with. It's so refreshing to see an account that not only talks about aro + ace representation, but also explains how relationships with aro/ace people work. It's also always nice to see more awareness for it. Stay well and take care of yourself <3
hfudijlgkdf Aaaa for real sometimes I let myself forget that for most orientations that aren't on the ace spectrum, sexual attraction = romantic attraction... TwT I was talking about it with some buddies today and ye it's definitely a headache at times how differently we see things and how something that can seem obvious to us takes so much education for other people.
With that said, reading about your experience makes me super happy too, considering both my partner and I are ace, and I've never had first-hand ace + allo partnerships experiences, nor do I personally know anyone who does. So, that may sound a bit silly coming from me, since I typically sound so assured of that in what I draw, but y'know, sometimes my doubts get the best of me (internalised anxiety from a lifetime of systemic allonormativity or downright aphobia can do that to ya I guess, in the end), so... Yeah, honestly, this makes me so happy to read, it makes me so relieved and hopeful.^^
Thank YOU for sharing it, and for taking the experience I share as a good thing too, I'll keep doing my best to show snippets of our life that can be helpful for other people to see what's possible in life, in a way^^ And I sincerely wish you guys the best!!

He helps you with your coat and only when you reach the street do you realize why he was so pleased that you agreed. He simply beams as he walks hand in hand with you and you understand that he is joyful that you don’t object to being seen with him, that you don’t shy away from him or try to hide your face.
The Mummy - Chapter 8 (Rothko):
His hand comes to stroke the tattoo on your back comfortingly as he stops his gentle invasion halfway. He waits for you to recover, whispering in your ear what a good girl you are...

I also really like the idea of Yoko & Enid being totally clueless about it. Raven only talks to Wednesday cause she’s her favorite person and Yoko & Enid are cool only cause Wednesday loves them, Auntie Bianca is fine too.
We were missing some kookiness in this whole thing! Now we have it in Raven. AAAA I’m so excited!!
I love the idea that all three of them are clueless and just think Wednesday sees Raven as her imaginary friend. Omg imagine when Yoko, Enid or Bianca “talk” to the raven, the raven is actually responding to them but through Wednesday. So they think all of these facts and stories about raven is just from Wednesday’s head 😭😭😭

Special Informal Devlog
Hi-ho, Wudge here! Aaaa. I missed the update last week... as we crawl closer and closer to release, it's become harder for me to write devlogs. I'm making progress every single day, and that makes me so frustrated that it isn't done yet, you know? 😭 Something something curse of perfectionism...
Anyway.
I thought I'd try something a little different with this post by chronicling a specific screen I've worked very hard on, from start to finish!

It all began on... August 2021?! Yowza, two years ago! When I posted a poll on tumblr and on itch about how I should handle flirt indicators. The votes were split 50/50 between two popular options, and I was able to surmise that yall would really, really love an option to toggle between the two.
It didn't take me long to figure out how to implement the toggle itself.
The following year (September 2022), I came up with the idea of putting in an illustrated tutorial on how my flirt indication system works - after all, poll participants had told me that they loved the idea and had never seen it before in other games. I was on a treadmill at the time, so I quickly doodled the idea on my phone. It looks like this:
Then when I got home, I did a rough pen draft to solidify the idea...
I worked on the digital version over the next 2-3 weeks, and asked my friends for help with editing the text to ensure clarity.
.... Then I took a looong break from the infographic to, uh.... write, edit, playtest the game, draw expressions for Griffin CG, draw expressions for the landlord, work on a new Clammy Lady sprite, playtest the game again, make all the characters blink, make the first glowing animation for Jade's powers, code in Griffin's CG expressions, stress about paypal making changes in my country, do concept art for upcoming npcs, write some more, playtest some more, draw a birthday picture for Dart, write devlogs every single week, make sure all my files were safely transferred to my new laptop before my old one completely died... etc.
So it was February 2023 by the time I came back around to try implementing the infographic in code :')
... It was functional, but no matter what I tried, I didn't like how it looked with everything crammed into one page.
... Then I got really sick... but after I recovered and did some more work (drawing, writing, playtesting, etc) I came back to the infographic with the intention to learn how to code pages in renpy.
Still didn't look phenomenal, but there's a whole lot more breathing room! This was in April 2023.
I took another "break" (worked on a million other things) and then... FINALLY... in late August 2023, just a few weeks ago, I had an art breakthrough!
I had garnered a better understanding of color and poses, and as a result my chibis became a LOT cuter! I was able to redraw most of them without too much hassle - whereas when I first started, it would take me all day to draw a single one.
I also drew custom heart icons (a plain heart, a golden heart, and a broken heart), figured out how to make text buttons look more fun and intuitive..
And here's where we're at now!!! I still need to draw eyes for Dart.... but I researched and absorbed a lot about screen compositions, and had a rather late realization that I could re-use backgrounds and assets I already have in the game.
