It's safe to say that DEXTER EROTOPH'S bizarre behavior is only amplified if someone manages to catch his interest. Dexter sees himself as both a main character as well as an author of his own story. He creates his own narrative and forces it onto his love interest, seeing both himself and his love interest as fictional characters in a twisted love game, with the goal to win his love interest’s heart.
If Dexter considers you "his" you'll find yourself the target of extreme possessiveness under the guise of being a good friend merely looking out for you, where he considers your time to be his alone and will go to any means to ensure you do not give attention to others. You may be seen as little more than his property, and he will have no qualms in controlling you for his benefit.
Whether you met him by calling his number to get rid of a pest or as a result of Dexter catching glimpses of you while doing work in your neighborhood, the end result is the same. He is highly possessive of his love interest, going as far as to keep a picture of them in his pocket to stare at whenever he can during working hours. He also becomes extremely upset when his beloved talks to or is around anyone else. The mere idea of someone being more important to his beloved than Dexter himself is infuriating and causes him to lash out with extreme acts of violence to prove his superiority, even if they don't know who he is; said superiority only to prove to himself with the ways he kills the animals he takes to him home.
Dexter is obsessive and possessive, frequently having to monitor his beloved's daily routine from a distance to make sure they stay safe. His beloved will never know, and Dexter doesn't want them to for as long as possible if he can help it. He frequently goes to seek out their validation one way or another; The exterminator will even go as far as taking pests from other homes and letting them loose on your property so that you call him for help, charging you far less for his services than he would any other person.
Dexter is an incredibly possessive individual. When he decides that you are “his,” you will never find a moment’s peace as he watches your every move, and will go to any lengths to keep you for himself - no matter how detrimental it is to your own well-being all to satisfy his needs of wanting to know everything about you. If he considers you “his,” you are nothing more than his property and he will have no quarrels controlling you for his own sick benefit. This behavior is often justified by his desire to protect his beloved while in the background, it is obvious that his motivations are entirely selfish.
Because Dexter Erotoph is more aware of his actions compared to others, he will attempt to make himself appear innocent or oblivious though his attempts come off as more unhinged despite his happy-go-lucky attitude. However, any attempts of his beloved to try and see through his overly kind facade are quickly thwarted by Dexter changing the subject. He can't have you thinking any less of him or having you perceive him as the insane and deranged man that he truly is.
Once a relationship is established whether it be as mere acquaintances or god-forbid as friends, Dexter does not respect personal boundaries and cannot take “no” for an answer. He is stubborn and obsessive, seeing his love interest as his possessions instead of actual human beings with their own life. While frustrating, his good nature despite how off-putting it can be at times makes you brush it off. Dexter will even tone his behavior, though not because he realized the errors of his ways and more so as a means to keep you close. He's insane but he doesn't want to drive you away and so long as his bloodlust is satisfied, he's perfectly fine.
Dexter is an obsessive love addict who finds it hard to control himself around his beloved. When Dexter and his beloved are together, his desires reach an entirely new playing field from love to obsession to downright feral behavior to get more time with their beloved. His desire to know everything about his beloved is not limited to the physical aspect of their life, he wants to know every last detail about their heart and mind. He believes knowing every secret they have to be the peak of closeness and intimacy, even if said intimacy is completely one-sided.
Dexter sees himself as the only man you should be giving attention to and will employ any means available to make you do so. You may not even be aware that Dexter is obsessed with you until you have already entered a toxic relationship with him. This is when you are most vulnerable to his manipulation, as he will go to any lengths to ensure you give all of yourself to him and him alone. He's already an unhinged and disturbed man and now that he has you where he wants you, Dexter doesn't ever want to let go.
As time progresses with the two of you being together, some of Dexter's alarming behavior starts to slip through the cracks more, especially with his gifts. More often than not you're greeted with a dead rat or cat on your porch, leaving you dreading waking up in the morning to do your daily routine. While this is seen as an extremely romantic gesture by the exterminator, he will innocently deny any accusations of being the culprit of the disturbing carcasses at your front door.
As shown in Deadly Smiles, Dexter's lack of satisfaction from not killing any animals in a few days would cause him to be extremely agitated and impatient. He would feel restless and out of place without his kills, making him more prone to lashing out at his beloved if they don't give him attention. His yandere tendencies would not only get worse, but he would find it hard to even sleep without having the idea of murdering his beloved in his mind.
This may result in excessive stalking and possible kidnapping as well as him forcing physical contact. His possessiveness and paranoia will worsen as he attempts to maintain power over his beloved by any means necessary so as to not lose them. Once he kidnaps his beloved, it's all over. Dexter is a yandere that cannot be reasoned with. His love will be made to stay close to him, even in his sleep. He is likely to forbid his lover from seeing anyone else other than him. Dexter would kill anyone who looks at or tries to hurt his precious beloved.
Dexter has no issue with killing in the first place, mainly animals, but his temper will be much more on edge if it has been some days since he last fed his bloodlust. The longer the days pass without being able to kill anything, Dexter will satisfy that need by killing your friends or anyone close to you. Once he sets his mind to murder and he is blinded by a red veil of rage and insanity, the person he is after becomes a target and nothing can stop him from getting what he wants. He is relentless and his anger is unquenchable for the sake of the object of his affection.

Sorry for dying but I got inspired to answer this ask so… here’s some Coworker lore. This is so hilariously bad I’m so sorry.
He already did. In the time you’ve been working at Boys & Grills, you’ve rapidly grown close to your coworker. You both thought he’d never notice your silent giggles in the staff room, the gossip as you both wiped down tables. Oh, how jealousy burnt through him.
It was subtle threats at first; deadpan stares and strained grins. Bob knew you thought of him as saintly, and he was obsessed with keeping it that way. Your coworker thought the same until they felt a piercing set of eyes on them every shift. Thinly veiled criticisms and harsh words thrown at them when no one was around. They noticed it only got worse the more they interacted with you.
Of course, they always dreaded waking up for work but that dread only deepened with time. The dots had began to connect in their head, and paranoia had plagued their life. They always knew you were a bit oblivious but this, this was getting stupid!
They feared for your safety whenever Bob was around. How were you so oblivious to the infatuation in his eyes, dilated and beady as they stared into yours. The lingering touches, the questionable pet names… and worst of all, the fact he followed you home every night. They knew they had to do something, anything to keep you safe.
So one night, while Bob was busy with god-knows-what, they snuck into the office. Turning on their camera, they squinted as their eyes adjusted to the dark office. It was… dirty. There was so much junk thrown around, and pictures littered the room. Of what, though? Picking one of the pictures up, they held their phone screen close to the picture to properly see what it was. Their eyes narrowed with confusion. It was… someone walking down a street. The person was hard to make out, but as they peered at their clothing, they realized that it was your jacket. It was you.
Realization dawned on them like they pressed their fingertips to a hot pan, a burning sensation of panic searing their fingers. They let the picture fall to the floor, evidently shocked at what they’ve seen. In a fit of denial, they grabbed other pictures, shuffling through them as they slowly shook their head in disbelief. There was so many, it made them sick. Some of them seemed harmless, pictures that one would take of a friend or a lover. Then there was the creepy ones, the pictures that made their skin crawl.
Pictures of you sleeping peacefully, pictures of you taken through your windows, and the worst of all were… They threw them to the ground, regretting their decision to come in this godforsaken room. They didn’t even want to think about the words scrawled on the back in blood red ink. They had to get out of here, and fast.
But fate had other plans.
