so obsessed with the fact that every single person at this wedding was up to something absolutely unhinged. like we started off with aniq planning to propose at someone else’s wedding and i was like well that doesn’t seem like a good idea. and then it turns out that was actually easily the least insane plan that anyone had.

it is funny seeing ppl be like “what joe said temple isn’t gay?” bc like. like joe is SUCH a straight man and like on some level i do respect him saying that he doesn’t want to write a gay super villain trope like i get that i understand that i respect that but. he did. like he did write that. he made temple a camp overdramatic freak who turned evil over the obsession with the death of another man who’s fighting for people who were marginalized by the system like. like his backstory parallels church and tex’s. come on now joe. this queer got coded.

We're in a situation where there is no more Fao and Finn.

Shiv has left, taking Fao and Ely (epoch's, but too much to talk to both of us), and leaving all our fics frozen still.

As mentioned previously, you can find shiv on ao3, but all of my work has only ever been on here.

Would people be interested in a rewritten situation where the Daniels etc remain (but without Fao obv)? Fao left in prev works but removed from future? Leaving the blog frozen with no changes or additions? Completely new characters on a new blog that has zero to do with the boys?

If anyone has any tips etc, they'd be appreciated.

like. you have three men who are coming out of highly unhealthy relationships.

One of them gets super sexualized and infantilized at the exact same time. literally people put him in the bdsm harness while simultaneously misinterpreting elven cultural norms to say he’s mentally no more mature than a teenager despite having been a whole-ass local judge who died because he gave out corrupt rulings and got his ass jumped because of them.

the other gets treated like he’s an incel because he catches feelings quickly, despite being wildly respectful when you turn him down. Half the issues were due to a bug, the other is that this man is so starved for validation because his goddess - whom has paid special interest to him since he was a toddler - kept him constantly feeling lesser-than because despite calling him her Chosen, she gives him none of the power we see Chosens be given by other gods. Not to mention she sends her other ex - his mentor and friend - to tell him to off himself to earn her forgiveness. For some reason his attempts to gain god-like power are received worse than the borm-sexy-yesterday-vampire despite both of them having the goal of being safe from manipulation and control. I assume because the vampire gets a sex scene when you let him destroy his soul for power and the wizard does not.

The fairytale prince route, despite typically being very popular, is being called boring and dull and while, yes, he has less drama than some of the others, is still compelling and has high stakes for that character. He’s sold his soul but he thinks the price is worth it and he’s made his peace with the personal cost because he’s helping people. The only real difference between this character and others who are willing to sell their souls for the good of their lands is that this time around, he’s Black

My life has improved a lot since being more consistent with responding to and talking to friends and saying yes to plans instead of letting anxiety make me say no. Maintaining good relationships and having a support system is so important. I isolated myself badly for over two years just out of fear and anxiety and depression and I was REALLY suicidal not that long ago. I recently decided that I deserve to actually live and have fun and be with my friends, not just isolate and rot in bed and it was literally a life-changing decision

anyway i love birds and i love it when artists give characters wings, so i thought id do my due diligence and give wings to the Sk8 boys!! I’m thinking of doing a knew one on all of their birthdays :D Anyways Langa is a Canada Jay because of course he is why wouldn’t he be? It’s actually perfect for him. Canada Jays are very curious, and are big eaters who will eat a wide variety of foods, from seeds to literal small animals. and they hoard food (with their saliva sticking it to trees what), likely to store for winter when they would have a harder time finding it! Like cmon it was too perfect they even have his color scheme of black and white!

I really need someone from the beauty industry to come out with press on nails for those of us with flat af nail beds. These are so pretty but they hurt like hell because they force my paper thin, totally straight nails to curve. I really prefer the shape and length of this brand but they curve worse than the ones I usually get. 😭 RIP my nail beds I guess.
