Prompts & Rules 2024

Hello, dear fellow fans of TobiIzu <3 The event goes into the third round! Here are now the prompts and rules for the event in 2024. If any questions occure, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

The event runs from 1 January to 7 January. You can submit your work on ao3 to the TobiIzuWeek2024 collection, if you like. The Hashtag for the event is #TobiIzuWeek2024

You can participate in any form you like. Write Fanfics, draw something awesome, post headcanons, make edits. Whatever you like. Your work doesn’t have to be in English, I trust you to follow the rules ^^

Only new works please. If you have a yet unpublished WIP, that’s fine tho!

Any work generated by any form of AI (ChatGBT, AI "art" and the like) is strikly forbidden.

Post your work wherever you want, but if you want it to be featured here, please make a Tumblr post with the work and/or the link to your work, tag this blog and use the hashtag for the event #TobiIzuWeek2024.

You can, of course, use the hashtag on other social media, too, but keep in mind, that I’m only on Bluesky/Mastodon and will only check it there as well (and retweet it with my priv acc, you can tag me there as @/Elenyafinwe.bsky.social / [email protected]).

In the post put in all the necessary tags that apply to your work and add warnings accordingly. Please also add the prompt you choose.

NSFW is allowed (just don’t post it fully on Tumblr), as well as any Dead Dove. Just tag it properly. Generally speaking: Any content is allowed that’s also allowed on ao3. It simply has to be tagged. However, any form of harrasment of other content creators over their content for the event is not allowed and will be banned from the event.

The main focus of your work has to be on Izuna and Tobirama. Other pairings are of course allowed.

You can do all prompts, some prompts or no prompts at all … or even more than one prompt per day, if you can manage that. If you don’t like the main prompt list, you can use the alternative prompts and/or mix both lists together. Whatever you like.

You can interpret the prompts as freely as you wish.

The main event takes place in the above mentioned week. But let’s be honest: If you find this blog after this and want to add something to the party feel free to do so! Late submissions will be accepted any time after the official end. However, I will not check the Hashtag forever, so better tag this blog.

I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

I don’t know about you, but I vividly remember how shocking this episode was to me when I was preschool age. I even remember myself being very upset because back then I hated Dib and I was sad that Zim lost xD. Still, this episode is special to me because it is what brought my first “What if Dib wins for real?” baby thoughts. And then it all ended to where we are now with my au :3

IT'S HAPPENING!! Our prayers have been answered and we're getting an Unintentional Love Story spin-off! 🥳😍

According to G translate, this article says: Thanks to such an explosive response, the spin-off of 'Unintentional Love Story' was confirmed. The production company, Number Three Pictures, said, “We have started filming in the second half of this year and aim to release it early next year.”

Words cannot describe how happy and excited I am about this news. I'm assuming the spin-off is going to be about Hotae and Donghee.

We're going to get the HoDong story they deserve. 🥹

Y’all need a little more whimsy and wonder in your lives.

i was talking to a co-worker about how i make dandelion and violet jelly and her immediate response was “…you know dandelions are weeds, right?”

like yeah,, many people see them as weeds(topic for another post) but that doesnt mean im not gonna eat them :)

i was talking with a friend and heard a robin close by and got excited and his only response was “…cool? i mean.. theyre just birds.”

ok maybe, but like, that means spring is coming! and they fucking SING!!! bro that sounds like some cartoon bs but no we just casually have animals that sing and fly and theyre EVERYWHERE!!!

appreciate and protect the world around you. i have been so much happier finding small bits of whimsy and joy than i was looking at every day as another chore. when is the last time you looked at some random thing and wondered about it? when did you last ask a silly question? when did you last take a moment to just enjoy a moment and make an observation?

we should do that more often.

#this isnt to say that shitty things dont exist in the world #unfortunately they are everywhere #however #noticing these little wonders and delights can help us to know that not *everything* is horrible #amd when we see that it gives us hope for a better future in which maybe less things are horrible #it helps us cope with the bad to work towards solving it and making the world better #and we see these little things that are worth protecting #this is a really cheesy post #but i dont care #its true #i am an optimist #and i am optimistic for the future #if more people noticed the little things we could make the big things suck less #yknow?#and i know the struggle #i have depressive episodes that can get really bad sometimes #but being silly and whimsical and appreciative of the world around me has genuinely helped so much #obviously not everything can be solved by gratitude #(tbh the words ‘gratitude’ and ‘growth mindset’ leave a bad taste in my mouth bc of toxic positivity and shit but I DIGRESS)#pls just go look at a flower #or birdwatch #or look at the patterns in the ceiling #or art #or grass #or sand #or leaves #or something #and just appreciate it a little bit :)#tipytalks

i am going to sit down and draw the gentlest scene one can possibly imagine, or the pure visual manifestation of unabashed fury. there will be no in-between (unless)

#so 4am me was right! i really had hoped for a few days that things were looking brighter but clearly optimism is foolish #and this agony is entirely beyond my control which is fantastic. absolutely great and wonderful. i have never felt more empty #i think i will simply just try not to feel anything ever again because it simply isn't worth it #if i can pour it into some art then that will be something at least. i haven't drawn for myself in a very long time #but in this moment i literally have nothing else beyond some terrible coping mechanisms which i won't divulge #i think i will draw until my head hurts and my hands hurt #art and writing are really all i have right now. i can't physically speak without crying and i need to sequester myself #i will attempt to continue to reblog things as usual because i need every shred of normality i can consume #apologies in advance if i am not massively cheery again for a while - any semblance of joy has been violently stripped away from me #i'm not keen to conceal the fact that i do not feel normal at all right now. but i hate constantly venting here whenever i make a textpost #alas i am shigeo kageyama and i am holding a bouquet of flowers. and i'm about to cross at a junction #but it keeps happening over and over and over #if i draw and it's abysmal then good. i don't care #everything just gets worse and worse and worse and worse #i am so sorry #sea rambles
