You’re transported from the holding cells to a car—to who knows where after that.

Reaper takes the seat next to you. He looks so strange, with his form cramped in the backseat. Though the interior is profuse with darkness, you can see his mask set at an angle toward the floor in avoidance. This time, there will be no words.

Your hands are bound, and your left knee brushes against Reaper’s armoured leg as the car takes corners. They’ve since shrugged your armour off, leaving you in basic carbon black garments and lace-up boots, weathered to a grey with ash and dust, and even if the barrier has long been rendered categorically useless, you’d feel calmer with it. More like yourself, more in control.

Absorbing the speed and distance it takes to bring you back to a familiar landscape, you’ve never felt so removed from civilization. The driver takes you through a stretch of nothing until streetlights cut over the windows. You want to ask where you’re going, but you assume questions will get you nowhere. You want to stay alert, but futility, exhaustion, and the ease that the vehicle takes the road lull you into a thin, uneasy sleep—broken only by Reaper’s glove as it presses against your mouth, indicating you maintain your silence.

His other hand unclips your seatbelt.

Critique-In-A-Sandwich posted to r/ispp If anyone's caught sight of that post on tumblr making the rounds about 6ear yelling at some guy in a yellow hoodie, did I tell you or did I TELL YOU. I can count on several hands how much of a bad look it is to be caught yelling at someone like this. I'm like, actually afraid for 6's family or s/o does he yell at them like this too?

Trein: said 'damn' once when he was sixteen, still lays awake at night in embarrassment about his deplorable lapse in manners.

Vargas: swears like an old-timey carnival strongman. lots of "poppycock" and "what the devil" and an occasional "deuces!" (this makes classes very confusing for poor Deuce)

Crowley: doesn't intentionally swear, but every once in a while he'll, like...put together a presentation on the new staff policies or something that builds up to an acronym which, by complete coincidence, spells out something shockingly depraved.

it happens often enough that you'd think he's doing it on purpose, except. it's Crowley.

Sam: swears in the text, gets away with it because the character reading is always something else

"Never be Alone"

Started on the sixth of January and planned to be finished on the fourteenth, but landed up not doing that. Somewhere on the sixteenth, I basically said "haha whoops" and pumped out twenty panels. According to Procreate, it took 15 hours and 37 minutes to finish Panels 1-10; 27 hours and 15 minutes on Panels 11-20; and 34 hours and 8 minutes for Panels 21-30.

In total, I have no idea. I just know it took some serious time.

Unlike with She's Gone, I wrote a script. Well, all I wrote was dialogue and some minor actions for Panels 5-23, though lines were changed "in post." Everything else was by the seat of my pants. However, I can say for sure that I was planning on ending it with N being hopeful, but all I had room for was him crying. He cannot catch a break.

(also to those who suspected uzi was still in there, guess you were right all along.)
