Venti shouted, waving and practically flying to her, “Buer!”

It seemed that Nahida had just escaped from a room of her people asking for her guidance and advice on what to do next with the Akademiya, from the way she was stunned at the unexpected call of her true name.

“Eh…?”

Without warning, he grasped her smaller hands in his as the wind sang and blew wildly around them, reflecting his unrepressed joy.

Venti laughed: “Ah…it’s been much too long!”

The Traveler ran to them before looking around, worried that others would be suspicious of the strange interaction of their archon and a strange bard from afar. But it seems most had to cover their eyes due to the strong wind just a while ago, and when they turned to Venti with a raised eyebrow, he just winked at them.

“This hardly seems like a proper place for a reunion between old friends–what say you, oh Dendro Archon?”

It seems Venti’s antics finally caught up with Nahida, who smiled back, albeit more subdued than the former. “Alright. Let’s go somewhere more private.”

In a flurry of white feathers and verdant leaves, they all reappeared inside the Sanctuary, the quiet ambience enveloping them gently like a cradle to a newborn babe.

“Mm, I haven’t been here in a very long time…” Venti sighed, eyes closed as though to listen even closer to the whispers behind the walls. When he opened them again, his eyes reflected the vibrant green like fireflies at night. “It feels familiar and yet…completely reborn.”

Unbeknownst to any of them, the Traveler’s eyes widened slightly at his remarks, lips shaking slightly with words they’ve agreed to never speak of.

“I guess…that’s what happens when you lose your memories,” Venti finally turned to Nahida with a forlorn smile, who had simply been observing him from beside the Traveler. The Dendro Archon clenched her hands together before walking up to him, meeting his gaze.

“...Barbatos,” Nahida started, “just as the wind blows the seeds of every story all across Teyvat, I’m sure the wind has told you of the story that was uncovered in Sumeru as well. I…I apologize for not greeting you in a manner befitting a fellow Archon, but I would like to extend my hand in friendship once more just as I did all those years ago.”

To her surprise, Barbatos simply giggled, his airy laughter jingling like bells. “I never knew how adorably anxious you felt when we first met~!”

Going down on his knees, he enveloped her gently like a mother bird brooding its younglings, catching the other archon off guard. “And our friendship never ended,” he said, his voice tapering off into a whisper, “no matter where you are in the endless river of time, you will always be a dear friend of mine, Buer.”

Nahida felt…comfort, familiar and oh so warm, an old memory that did not feel hers resurfacing from under the rubble, like a tiny sapling that willed itself to survive amidst the harsh and unforgiving nature imposed onto it.

After a second of hesitation, she returned the hug, burying her face in the awfully familiar scent of dandelions and wind, wanting to keep this feeling with her for eternity no matter what.

But alas, nothing lasts forever.

“I also heard from a certain Traveler,” Venti nodded at the quiet person watching them from a distance, “that the wind…never blows inside this tiny bird cage of yours. I see what you mean now.”

He stood up and summoned his lyre, walking to the middle of the platform, to the place she was trapped in for half a millennium. The place where the wind could not reach, where her tears and anxieties remained unseen and hidden from the world, her fate sealed by the people she was born to protect.

Strumming his lyre, he beamed at her: “Time to correct that!”

A gentle breeze flowed within her former cage, caressing her cheeks and the tips of her feet, bumping into her as though asking her to come play with them. Nahida’s eyes glimmered as silver white wings sprouted from Venti’s back, feathers floating in the air as he sang.

Ah…this voice…

Memories flooded her vision as snapshots of beautiful moments blurred past her eyes, untouched by the ravages of time. The tiny sapling grew larger and larger until it touched the sky above, to where they would return to. Singing together with the Aranara, the gathering of the first Seven, memories never lucid enough for her to see in detail but the emotions. Oh the emotions she experienced then…

Nahida did not realize the tears dripping onto the floor until she felt a warm hand on her shoulder, startling her to reality as she watched Venti glide down and extend a hand towards her, a gentle smile on his lips as he beckoned for her:

“Come sing with me? For old times’ sake.”

Ah…How could she refuse?

With a wide grin, she took his hand and sang.

No one but the Traveler and their floating companion would be the witness to this beautiful moment shared between the two neighboring archons, the two old friends separated by time and the earth itself.

One born of the thousands of branches of time, while the other sprouted from the purest branch of an ancient tree.

If people are talking Hi-Fi Rush AU thoughts...

...Wait, does this count as an AU if it'd technically take place post-game? idk

Also spoilers I think.

So, we currently don't know if Roquefort is actually dead. He seems to share Chai's comical invulnerability and didn't explode like Rekka or Mimosa, so he might still be under that gold pile. So me and @alonsotigerheart talked and had some thoughts:

Roxanne Vandelay wanted her technology to help people, give people a new lease on life that they could not get otherwise. Roquefort was on his deathbed before Kale offered him a new body (and we don't know how much of him is still organic, if any at all). He might be a testament to what Roxanne originally wanted, if in a somewhat twisted form, so I feel that Roxanne might have some form of soft spot for him as a result.

Again, we don't know what's up with Roquefort after his fight, and that includes post-game. If he isn't dead, they Roxanne could probably send Chai back to retrieve Roquefort, or at least check to see if he's alive.

Gold pile is still there and Roquefort isn't moving, but there's still functionality signals radiating from it. If Roquefort won't budge otherwise...

Chai > Shove robot arm into gold pile. What's the worst that could happen?

Blue light erupts from the mountain of riches. Badump-badump-badump-badump. Wait, this feels familiar...

TL;DR: Chai accidentally Synchronizes with Roquefort like he did with 808. Hilarity Ensues™

Proper elaboration (and some art) under the cut lmao.

Can be considered a prequel to this thing I made. So the crack is still present, because getting clonked upside the head with a heavy golden statue has got to hurt lmao.

Considering that Roquefort's body is (mostly, at least. Again, we don't know exactly how much of his body is robotic; he could be full conversion, mind-is-AI for all we know) made of Vandelay tech and even the wholly inorganic parts still look smooth and squishy similarly to 808 (which is also Vanedlay tech), it makes me wonder if Chai could also Synchronize with him.

808 and Chai seem to immediately start sharing the braincell when they Synchronize, and both Roquefort and Chai both already like doing terrible jokes, so now imagine Chai/808/Roquefort sharing a single braincell 83. Roquefort likes cats (if using the 808 photo overdrive on him is any indication), he and 808 deserve to be friends, they could be like Marc Antony and Pussyfoot.

(these two are Marc Antony [dog] and Pussyfoot [cat])

A big thing I wondered with the possible Synchronization would be with him gaining a new form similarly to 808's Synchronization giving her a new "Ball" form, so have some more art:

I think he deserves sharp teef in his "human" form. Kintsugi (repairing cracks with gold) also felt fitting. Also gave his shoes three toes like his wolf form with blue nodes (similarly to his head) to denote where the claws would go. I showed Alonso GG Gio's paw pad shoe soles with the idea of Roquefort having similar because it fits and they loved them, so I added that too.

Gave him a smaller "compact" werewolf form as an analogue to 808's "Ball" form, while still also having access to his original werewolf form (if with some design modifications). Tail is the same style I used for "Roq-and-Roll". I think he deserves to have some form of hand-paws/paw analogues in his human form, as a treat 83 [ROBOTS ARE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO DRAW. AAAAGH.]

i know u like micheal stuff so im gonna talk ab him in the adult au as a treat mwahahah. mike is about 29 when he dies and he passes away in summer right before evans birthday. that year evan doesn’t celebrate his birthday (not that he every really did after.. yk..) and instead has mikes funeral on that day. inside his coffin, there’s a foxy mask lying over his hands. he always hated that stupid mask and what it represented, but the pain it caused got to die with him. 6 feet under, mike is buried. and to be honest, i think he would’ve thought that all the problems he caused would just go away once he was dead? like everything would just be normal. but its not, and without him alive still, it REALLY will never be.

i dont wanna say much about how mike dies becuase im not super sure myself but i know its rlly personal and uh.. yeah. eventually ill get the courage to write it lmao.

MERGEBAND WOOOOOOOOOOO. ok yeah so charlie and mike fight a lot honestly. mike is more carefree and he just.. doesn’t care? like he just slacks off, doesn’t learn his music, breaks instruments and causes financial difficulties, and charlie is the exact opposite of that. she’s organized and cautious and careful and absorbed in her music and practices. they butt heads a lot because mike never does anything and hes still kinda a dick to everyone but especially her, and she has a thin barrier over her tolerance of that stuff. she yells at him and kicks him out of practice, which not only stresses evan out but it also sets them back whenever they want to practice. THEY ARE SO SILLY AND DUMB RAHHHHHHH

Oh yeah!!!

Ruv,, is the first in your group to get corrupted. Not what you expected, huh?

The corruption cares not about what its victims are going through, or the pain they experience. It forces Ruv to smile even though it’s physically impossible for him to hold it that way for long without immense pain.

An idea we had is that victims of the Pibby virus can fight back if reminded of something from outside of the the corruption. It’s risky, because the virus will punish the rebel with more painful glitches, pumping more of the virus through them while submerged; they come out more distorted and harder to reach out to

Ruv is a trooper when it comes to this. He’s fought back quite a few times actually, trying to experiment just how to get away from this thing. One day, he is successful; while running far enough to distance himself from the larger mass, leaving the connecting part thin, he shouts, severing the corruption with the loudest booming voice he can muster.

Now, Ruv is still corrupted.. he’s just no longer connected to the greater mind that is the glitch monster. He has a lot of goop and glitches on him, and intrusive thoughts that tell him he needs to corrupt more innocents. He struggles to fight this as he escapes past the people the monster is attacking, but luckily, he manages.

Me and another friend discussed in dms a new headcanon: that staying away from the main corruption for long enough is the cure. Ruv is experienced in physical healing, and he sees it as something he can get over with enough rest. He travels farther every day, setting up camp every night, and remembering how he was able to emotionally break free to begin with. Almost all the time, he sings the songs that he and Sarvente sang together, as well as with other loved ones. He repeats and repeats, hoping to push the virus back, and it works! As crazy as it might’ve made him seem, repeating fond memories kept his mind in the right place.

Another headcanon: previous puppets of the virus will end up with corruption scars after recovering. This might include faded or empty eyes, minor glitch effects in the voice, or black stains. Ruv ends up with the last one. (his eyes were already white to begin with lol)

On his way back to find his group, assuming he’s recovered, he keeps singing and reminding himself of his loved ones just to be extra safe. Becomes a bit of a habit.

When Ruv does find them (assuming they survived), he tells Sarv to keep an eye on him and to be rid of him if he does pose any kind of threat during her nightly watch hours (they sleep in shifts). Ruv is extremely serious about the safety of those he cares about.

Takes him quite a while to trust himself around people again, honestly. But no way in hell he’s gonna leave anyone behind to fend the virus off for themselves. He will protect everyone he can, especially Sarv, with his life.

Harry Potter and the Lost Child - Final Chapter Out!

PHEW

That's it. It's done. I've had such a great time writing this book these past 8 months or so. Thank you so SO much to everybody that gave it a chance and had a read and anybody in the future who decides to check it out! I love you all! Truly! So what now? I will be taking a little break (around a month or two) before beginning to write my next book (yes there will be more books - at least three more!). I'll be rereading the book series again and maybe fix up a few things in this one. Also, don't fret! You will see more of my writing in the form of short stories within the coming months! Thanks again for all the praise and the love over the past few months!

For the past couple of months, I’ve been working on a fix of the (in my opinion) less than great Cursed Child. I guess I just wanted to give these characters the sequel they deserve. This is a second/next generation canon-compliant (though not with CC obviously) continuation of the series I love so much.

This story is meant to provide an alternative for people who would like to know ‘what happened after the story’ and would rather not bother with the hot mess that is CC (again my opinion).

General summary: no Delphi, VERY canon-compliant (except for CC of course), the plot draws a little from the Cursed Child but improves upon it (at least in my opinion), and NO BLEEDING TIME TRAVEL.

Reviews/kudos/comments/suggestions/insults are always welcome!

As I said above, I will now be taking a short break from writing before working full on again on a few short stories (also in the wizarding world universe - mostly exploring other wizarding cultures) and afterwards starting on the next book in my fanfic series!!

After a few moments of staring out onto the lake in silence, Albus decided it was time to leave. He bid his friend farewell and marched out of the library – under the watchful gaze of Madam Pince – and onto the first-floor corridor.

Travelling through the corridors of the castle, Albus ran the year he had had through his mind. It had been so full of twists and turns and unexpected developments…

‘WOOOOOOOOOOO!!’ Screamed James as he zoomed outside of a nearby window on his brand-new Nimbus 3003.

Albus smiled to himself. Despite all the challenges, all the pain and the ridicule he had endured, he couldn’t help but understand now why his father had been so fond of the place. Hogwarts was truly one of a kind. A home away from home in its own magical way. He would miss it over the summer. More than he cared to admit.

As Albus approached the doors of the Hospital Wing he heard faint sounds of speech coming from within.

Omg ☺️ I’m glad you liked the Iggy one. Honestly While making the Ignis one, I was thinking about doing a Prompto Mpreg headcanon but I didn’t think someone would ask for a Prompto one.

But I will give the the people what they want!! PROMPTO MPREG!! Expect this to be very silly 🙃

Idk where this takes place, I’ll leave it to your imagination ;) just know that no ones dead! Yay everyone lives!!

•however, one day Prompto passes out while running and is rushed to the hospital.

•it’s only then, he’s given the shocking news; He’s Pregnant! Not just that, he’s already a month Pregnant!

•he’s in shock and disbelief at first. How could that happ-

•oh yeah he had sex (duh)

•to make a long story short, Prompto was at a party, met someone, was getting along great and...well yeah you guess the rest xD (tbh I’m not comfortable or good at describing sex scenes, so I’m not gonna torture you guys 😅)

•after that, Prompto never saw (or heard) from them again.

•Gladio was like “Welp, it least you got laid!”

• meanwhile Noctis and Ignis: 👨‍🦯👨‍🦯

•Now, in a hospital bed, with the news that he’s Pregnant, Prompto feels alone, confused and scared. So he, reluctantly, turns to his friends for help.

•Noctis jaw was on the floor, he wanted it to be a joke. It wasn’t a joke.

•Gladio was: 📉📈📉📈📉📈📉

•Ignis, being the most calmest and levelheaded, tells Prompto to try to contact the baby’s other parent (can you tell I’m trying to be gender neutral? What can I say I love my he’s, she’s, and they’s 🥰)

•this, however, proves to be a colossal failure, since Prompto doesn’t even remember their name!

•Out of stress Prompto begins to cry :’(

• Noctis finally sees the seriousness of the situation, promises his best friend to help him and be there for him.

•Ignis and Gladio as well! Yay Grandma and Grandpa!...I mean Uncles!!!

•One Month: Prompto begun to eat correctly again. He’s lucky that the baby wasn’t harmed.

•this poor boy...gets sick a lot!!

•morning sickness is his worst enemy!!!

• “Now I know what my Mom went through...”

• he has the most RANDOM cravings...poor Ignis.

•he has to make the weirdest shit for Prompto!

•it least he’s eating it, so it’s worth it...kinda.

•Noctis is very protective of his friend. He knows people can be... judge mental.

•if anyone gives Prompto weird looks or glares.

•Oh Hell No!

•Noctis ain’t having none of it!!

•Noctis still tries to fight ANYONE who even looks at Prompto.

•that’s how they celebrate the announcement of the baby’s gender.

•Noct wouldn’t admit it but he’s really excited to be an Uncle.

•Gladio and Ignis as well.

•however, Prompto does not have much experience with taking care of Babies, so he starts practicing.

•for the next couple months, he training to take care of baby.

•he gets better but he fears he won’t be a good father (or mother) to his unborn Daughter.

•he doesn’t want her to feel what he felt growing up; loneliness.

•he promises her that he’ll never let her feel alone. He wants her feel loved and safe.

Eight Months: She’s already kicking. Literally!

•Seriously, She’s the most active baby the Doctor’s ever seen!

•let’s hope she won’t be too energetic....

•lris decides to make a baby shower for Prompto. The plan is simple:

•Ignis makes the food. (So many new Recipeh’s)

•Noctis keeps Prompto distracted. It’s not that hard as it sounds, he takes Prompto to a Chocobo farm!
