House M.D. but it's when a character says the name of the episode

#house md #prince's talk tag #flashing #repitition #so as i was watching this show i noticed they'd say the episode title in the episode #so i wanted to see how many times they did it #the people on livejournal who made transcripts of the episodes are my saviors and without them this would of been so much harder to do #thank you all for your service and i hope wherever you all are you're having a great day #sometimes they would use a variation of the word like in the episode poison they would say 'poisoned' or 'poisoning'#i did not include those instances #there was an instance in 'merry little christmas' where they do play the song in the show #but since ella fitzgerald was not a character in the show i did not include it #where as in the episode 'joy to the world' the students are singing it in the concert so i did include that #i apologize for the tonal whiplash when you get to that part but it did make me laugh #one of the times kutner says 'locked in' is overshadowed by the POTW's voice over but i assure you he says it and thats why its in there #out of the main characters from the one who said the title the most to least are #House > Foreman > Wilson > Chase > Cuddy > Adams > Cameron and Taub > Kutner > Thirteen and Park #this took a bit to do lolol its probably been done already but i wanted my own #there is a chance im missing some on technicalities but idc. im fine with this #there are two more i wanna do but with a character saying another character's name but ill do that some other time #EDIT: When I was making this video I was unaware that the Pilot episode went by two names: 'Pilot' and 'Everybody Lies'#Basically everywhere I looked the first episode was only referred to by 'Pilot'#which I found weird bc i remember seeing somewhere that the last episode was paired with the first episode in terms of title #but i couldn't find hard proof so I decided to leave it out at the time #well i checked again last night and yea the pilot IS also called Everybody Lies so I updated the video #I also think it goes well with the fact that House does say 'Everybody Dies' in the finale so another reason to fix it #AND he says it without Wilson while he and Wilson say the title of the pilot sooooo yea hehehehehe

@revenge-of-the-assbutt @firstaidspray @sachermorte thank u for enabling me NEWAY since I’ve been too dead to do any of my own hobbies here’s some thoughts on House & Co’s physical hobbies/lil crafts & such they do in the comfort of their home<3:

House: canonically does a ton of shit like piano/guitar/cooking/so on but In the spirit of him resisting change (At Times!) I think he’s gotten very good if not makes a fun time out of mending clothes🥺…. Didn’t wanna throw away his favorite shirts so it started w small hems+resizings until he looked up more tips online and get decorative w it. Pretty contrasting colors/patterns now randomly laid on his shirts and pants w only the careful eye(Cuddy+Wilson) to notice. If anyone cares

Wilson: gardening. Well as much one can do within his apartments/pretty nonplant friendly homes. He’s not a super greenthumb expert but it always gives him a lil confidence boost when he’s able to grow out spices and herbs & such to use in his cooking ♥️

Cuddy: she seems like a collage-making kind of girlie💗💗 no specific theme in em or anything but she still holds onto the potential self-aid of making vision boards and it’s relaxing for her to go thru magazines/etc + cut out whatever interests her enough to use. Rachel tries and cutely fails to help 💓💓💓

Chase: ironically enough for the prodigal son lol but . He genuinely seems like someone who enjoys spending time in silence/music doing puzzles w 1000+ pieces & such #DWEEB❤️. House once got him a 5000 piece puzzle of a kangaroo or w/e as a joke and he is Determined to complete it. In due time chase…

Foreman: the thought of Foreman crocheting is so dear to me….. he doesn’t rly tell anyone ab it but there’s a lot of half-finished + worn projects as proof around his home. #angsting it sorry but I think he took it up after his mom started deteriorating bc she crocheted too and it was a fonder reminder + sumn they could do together. One yr he gave the fellow ducklings scarves he made as Xmas gift. Not that he told him he made it tho😅#repressed

Cameron: I think she has a moderately sized zen garden on a table somewhere in her home she takes SERIOUS. Changes the lines/circles in the sand periodically, sees what new arrangement of rocks she can do etc etc. Girl that thing is meant to be relaxing!! also colorcodes/sticker-covers/etc her planner like a CHAMP.

Amber: she has the most well-detailed prettiest most concerning-when-read journal/diary everrrr. Dedicates a specific time in every day to it w specific pens of various colors. Some of the recounting even have lil doodles or if she takes the journal out w her she draws her view wherever she is<3 they’re literal chickenscratch but its still fun and fulfilling. It’s a bibleesque piece to Wilson’s Amber shrine btw

Thirteen: she’s hard to analyze for me soz 13heads I do love her #trust… nonetheless I bet she goes to hella dance classes. Partially for the exercise partially for the fun partially for the need to experience Life partially for the women. Heh. She’s rly into zumba, jazz, contemporary classes to be specific.

Taub: ok ok so remember when he did/bought pottery or w/e to convince his wife he was being faithful. I think he’d do it for real as a joke/alibi then be like wait…. This is kinda fun…? There’s no constraints to what he can make + the sculpting reminds him vaguely of plastic surgery work so he keeps it up.

Kutner: I think he draws + writes his own lil comics/zines 🫶 they’re mostly scifi or superhero and more than a lil inspired by his fave preexisting medias . He likes using the crazy cases he’s experienced w House as story inspo. Also he 4 sure runs dnd campaigns so well and fun. Btw

Masters: she’s a suckerrrr for trivia nights my lil nerd wife<3 but um anyway when she wants to relax she Really doesn’t want sumn that can become info overload so in free time she’ll make friendship bracelets, lil shapes/figures out of string, etc. Will someone please give this woman a full on loom to go cray with!!!!

Park: I can see it so clearly . I can see her lil handpainted warhammer and other tabletop game figures so perfectly in my head. She paints more than she actually plays(but she does !). God save you if you touch or tumble them.

Adams: I kinda DGAF about her sorry women… hmm there’s sumn compelling ab her doing blackout poetry plus occasionally full-on written when the inspo hits! started as a boredom thing in her job in the prison w whatever book she brought in then she kept on doing it w more and more written pieces she comes across.

I put so much time into this. Perhaps too much.😭feel free to gimme y’all’s thoughts on this/ur own ideas :3

HELLO TUMBLR im very normal, have some Warrior Cats MD

(‼️MAJOR HOUSE SPOILERS‼️)

House is a greyblue cornish rex and idk if frostheart is too corny, I was also thinkibg thunderheart or stormheart but idk its frostheart for now, he was a warrior intent on becoming deputy but he was struck by a car and his leg got mangled so the only job he could actually do was medcat. He used to be an exceptional hunter and loved to lead patrols, now he can hardly even get his own herbs without needing to stop and rest. It makes him angry with starclan and he adamantly refuses to communicate with them. he makes Chase (Whitefoot) do it for him, and when he gets prophetic dreams he keeps them to himself.

Cuddy is Lushstar, formerly Lushpelt, and she got the position of deputy instead of house when he was struck on the thunderpath, she feels guilty for that and he’s the best medcat any clan has ever had so she just lets him get away with his crazy schemes and flagrant disregard for the warrior code and starclan.

Cameron is named Moonface, shes a shorthaired calico cat with a pure white face, she quits and leaves the clan to strike out as a loner after falling in love w whitefoot and witnessing him kill another cat in battle because not only can she not love whitefoot now that she knows what hes capable of, she also just cant live in a place that may require her to take a life.

Chase is a longhaired buff tabby with white paws named Whitefoot, he talks to starclan for Frostheart and almost leaves after moonface but decides to stay and help the clan recover after the battle. He (naturally) ends up taking over for frostheart.

Wilson is a ragdoll cat named Riversong and he serves as the deputy until it becomes public that he is not ONLY unfaithful to his mate (i dont have a name for her sorry julie) but hes also having an AFFAIR with the medcat aughhh the drama!! he has to step down because Lushstar cant uphold her image as leader of this clan and just let that continue.

Enter foreman! Foreman is a brown tabby named Badgertooth. Badgertooth becomes deputy after Riversong steps down, and once Lushstar retires, he becomes Badgerstar :)

Thirteen is a silver tabby oriental shorthair named riptide, she retires early to the queens den after learning she has a terminal illness so she can spend the rest of her days at ease with a mate.

Taub is a tan scottish fold named Shortear, and he has fathered two litters of kits! Lol

Kutner is a siamese cat named Petalstep, he ate a bunch of deathberries and nobody has any idea why :( his parents were kittypets, he was brought to the clan as a very young kit after their twoleg threw him out.

Masters is a solid orange cat named sunfur and she has to step away from the medcat position and return to being a warrior because House’s flagrant disrespect for the warrior code and starclan as well as his attitude towards his clanmates was starting to make her sick.

Park is a black shorthaired cat with a white spot on her chest and a bobtail named Crushclaw and she becomes close with Whitefoot after Frostheart and Riversong disappear without a trace.

adams is a Havana Brown cat with a white tailtip named Foxtail! I really dont have much to say on her ^^;

Amber is named goldenglow, she tried to he a medcat but was too aggressive and thus became a warrior instead! She is hit by a car trailing worried after Frostheart late at night and dies💔

They live in the abandoned ppth lobby right, I figure its probably like. Overrun with plants mice and stuff so theres plenty for them to hunt, but they can also venture outside to get food too! Since the lobby is huge, I figure its probably a huge clan, WHICH is why they can afford to have three medcat apprentices. Idk about other clans, I was thinking maybe there are other clans on the different levels of the building? The cafeteria is neutral meeting ground, the roof is neutral ground, and anything from the parking lot outwards is neutral ground, obvs wherever medcats go to get visions is also neutral. I figure their moonpool equivalent is in house’s office somewhere, maybe the balcony? Idk, but he always brings his apprentices with him. Its a journey that takes him several days since he has to traverse the abandoned, crumbling stairs and other such obstacles that come with living in an abandoned hospital.

AU where House is pregnant and everyone hears about it. House/Wilson/Cuddy but no one really knows they're together. All of House's past and current residents keep asking him about it and he gives all of them different explanations:

House to Masters, who had not asked: I’m pregnant

Masters: Congratulations?

House: You were so cute and I wanted one just like you

Masters: You’re having a girl?

House, scoffing: That’s very heteronormative of you! I’m sure a boy would be just as cute and unwaveringly honest and annoying as you are

Masters: …

Chase: Aren’t you like 40?

House: How dare you? That’s ageist. At least your less prettier half doesn’t judge me like this when she’s doing my prenatal appointments

Chase, who was being generous (he was fairly sure House was nearing 50): Cameron is doing your prenatals? Why?

Cameron, when Chase (and Foreman and Kutner and Thirteen and Taub and Adams and pretty much everyone who has ever worked for House) asks why she’s looking after House’s prenatals: House kind of forced me into it.

Chase: But you’re not a gynaecologist

Cameron: That’s what I told House! He said that I was better than all of them because I used to work for him.

Chase: I’m sure it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that everyone in gynaecology hates him

Foreman to Cameron: So House is actually pregnant?

Cameron: You think I’d do prenatals for a fake baby?

Foreman: I didn’t think you’d do prenatals for any kind of baby, seeing as you’re not actually an OB-GYN

Cameron: Can I go back to work now?

Foreman: I thought it was some kind of prank on Wilson or Cuddy

Cameron: So did I, but they’re both away on some conference so I’m not even sure if they know

Foreman: This is so weird

Thirteen, who has already deduced the answer: Whose the dad

House: That’s very sexist of you, Thirteen! This is the 21st century! We can do anything!

Thirteen: Including asexual reproduction

House: I prefer the term parthenogenesis

Thirteen: Like a reptile?

House: That’s the spirit!

Adams, glad that House didn’t ask her to look after his prenatals: I didn’t know you wanted kids

House: You know I didn’t but then Taub made it look so easy

House: And I’m sure Cuddy will give me maternity leave

Adams: I’m sure you’ll make a great parent

House: I thought i taught you to lie better than that

Taub, to Cameron: House is actually pregnant?

Cameron, tired of being accosted by everyone at PPTH and just trying to do her job: ….Yes?

Taub: And the baby is real?

Cameron: Yes?

Taub: When is House due?

Cameron, who just wants to go home: I can’t discuss my patient with you

Taub: ….

Taub: Since when does House care about doctor-patient confidentiality

Cameron: He may not, but I do, especially when it gets me out of conversations like this

House to Foreman: Rachel wanted a sister

Foreman: I’m sure that Cuddy will be overjoyed to adopt your baby

House: That hurts, you know. Families come in all shapes and sizes

Foreman: So this baby is going to be Cuddy’s daughter’s sister through delusion

House, mockingly: I wonder if delusion is a shape or a size

Kutner, vaguely disappointed that House didn’t ask him to look after his prenatals: My friend is a gynaecologist at Princeton General

House: When you say friend, do you mean a real person? People on the internet lie. Surprisingly a lot more than people in real life

Kutner: I went to med school with him

Kutner: And why surprisingly

House: Ugh, everyone knows that male gynaecologists are just perverts. Someone on the internet told me that

Kutner: Is that why you didn’t ask me to do your prenatals?

House, gravely: You don’t have Cameron’s bedside manner

Wilson, back from his conference: House, why did my assistant just ask me if i fathered your baby?

House: Because there’s a bet going around on the parentage of my baby

Wilson: You’re pregnant

House: No, but I like making money

Wilson: You made up a pregnancy just to win money from a bet about the pregnancy?

House: I also want maternity leave

Wilson: Of course you do

(it takes Wilson a month to realise that House is actually pregnant)

Cuddy: And here I thought you were too old to have a baby

Cuddy: I suppose congratulations are in order

House: For you and me both

Cuddy: What

House: If you adopt this baby

Cuddy: What

House: Foreman thinks that this baby can’t be rachel’s sister because they’re unrelated

Cuddy, jokingly: Why did I let you hire such a close-minded fellow?

Cuddy: It’s a girl?

House, in mock-disappointment: So heternormative of you

House to Park: I wanted Wilson to spend more time with me

Park: But you live together

House: He works such long hours

Park: At the same hospital as you

House: I miss him

Park: Sure

House: Can’t a guy get pregnant so another guy hangs out with him more often. Platonically, of course

Park: Of course

Cameron: I’m not doing a c-section

House: I would assume that handling a patient’s prenatals means handling their births as well

Cameron: I can get Chase to do it

House: What does he have that you don’t have

Cameron: A board certification as a surgeon?

House: Any idiot can become a surgeon

Cameron, calling his bluff: If it’s so easy, why don’t you just do it yourself

House: I fully plan on getting all the good drugs

House: It’s why i’m having this baby, you know

Cameron, not backing down: I’ve never done a c-section. Chase has probably done hundreds

House, mockingly: Will you hold my hand at least?

Cameron: I thought that was what Wilson was for

House: I have two hands

A post of how many shots it would take for me to sleep with the characters from House because I’m bored:

House: I’d jump his bones completely sober but I know we’d probably be drunk anyway.

Wilson: absolutely 0, I’d want to be completely sober if I were to sleep with him.

Cuddy: I’d say at least 2 for confidence, I would most definitely be intimidated by her.

Foreman: like 3 maybe, he seems like an alright guy but I don’t think I could do him sober.

Cameron: Also 3, I’d need the courage just to kiss her.

Chase: 2, the guy’s not really my type but damn he is pretty.

Thirteen: None at all! I would let this woman do unspeakable things to me. Ok maybe one for courage.

Taub: 10+, I’d have to be pretty drunk to be honest, like he’s an alright guy but he’s also a serial adulterer and I’d just be too worried about his wife.

Kutner: probably 2, he’s a good looking guy and I imagine he’d be good in bed but I feel like I’d need a couple of shots in me anyway.

Adams: like 5, she’s beautiful but I imagine she would be pretty vanilla in bed.

Park: 10+, she has the personality of a wet sponge.

Masters: maybe 8, she seems kind of annoying so I’d probably need a fair amount to put up with her.

Stacy: 4, she’s cool but she left House and got with Mark so I’d need at least 4 shots to get past that.

Amber: 2 because honestly she scares me and we’d probably make a sex tape so I’d need a couple of shots for that.

Tritter: I’d have alcohol poisoning before I even get near a number of shots it would take to get me to rub genitals with him.

Vogler: The same as Tritter really, but he’s rich so that number may be slightly lower depending on what he offers me. Not saying I’d prostitute myself but damn a guy’s gotta eat
