suna doesn’t really understand how you’re supposed to feel when you’re in love. through all four girlfriends he’s never felt love how you should.

yuki gave him what he thought were butterflies after their first date and into the day after but that just turned out to be food poisoning from the shitty restaurant she picked. he couldn’t really blame her too much though, they were still in junior high with very little money to throw around. especially on a silly little date. no yuki didn’t make him feel love.

aki made him blush. a whole lot. the red dusting just didn’t seem to leave his face for a week. atsumu would point at him and laugh about it. osamu would chuckle a bit. and kita would console him asking why he was red. the whole team thought it was funny until a week later when everyone was painted red from their cheeks to their knuckles. aki didn’t make him blush, she made him sick.

ena made his head spin. he had met her one day after a game. she flirted and flirted with him and he couldn’t seem to get enough of it. but eventually she just kept talking and his head just kept throbbing. he was in such a daze he seemed to forget that he had spiked a ball with his head earlier in the day and was definitely feeling the effects of a concussion. he was not in love, he needed to go to the nurse.

kaori had him feeling faint. he followed by her side as they walked down town. he wanted to hold her hand, but he felt like if he made too fast or too bold of a movement he might melt into a puddle. but when he opened his bedroom door after a miserable train ride, he passed out on his bed. once again suna was not in love, just exhausted.

by the time y/n came around suna was starting to give up hope on falling in love. he didn’t understand it anymore. but the way she smiled and him and passed him a small note made his heart flutter. for a second he prayed it would be real this time, that he wasn’t going to be sick in the middle of class. and as he opened the note with her phone number written out carefully with a little heart next to it, suna knew that he definitely understood love now.

this may be a dumb question but what does “clearing out likes” mean in your tags? is it a tumblr thing to reblog things you’ve liked or something 😭

i usually like posts while scrolling through my dash as a way of “bookmarking” them so that i can go back and queue them later. after i queue a post, i unlike it, hence i’m “clearing out likes.” i don’t like it when i have a lot of liked posts lol.

also, just to clarify, i use the “q: clearing out likes” tag for posts that i liked a long time ago and that i’m finally getting around to reblogging/queueing now. my usual queue tag is “haiqueue!!” for more recent posts that i’ve liked. i hope this makes sense! :’)

^ on the left is isami. on the right is toshi. isami’s birth name was katsugoro, and toshi calls him kat-chan because of that. this is wildly significant. toshi also writes haiku (of questionable quality but that’s neither here nor there).

so, therefore: kat-chan and haiku man
