I loved drawing them side by side. And while for gemini Draco is the only important character, born under the aquarius there are also Lily Evans and Arthur Weasley. Also Gilderoy Lockhart but that is just embarrassing and I'm not even an aquarius.

To be honest, one of the things I'd really like is to have a reveal of all hpma kiddos' birthdays.
So far we only know their zodiac signs, like that Cassandra is Cancer, Daniel is Scorpio (bc of course he is),Frey twins are Gemini (bc of course they are). They do give some sort of indication as to when they were born, but I really wish we got actual dates.

I can't actually avow this with certainty as I was never a Harry Potter fan but I think what people liked about it was literally just the idea of going to wizard school. That's it. The house system too. People LOVE to sort themselves, whether it's houses or Divergent factions or Myers-Briggs or Zodiac signs or whatever. Like, people liked the idea of going to wizard school and learning magic and not math and living in a dorm with your friends. It's an easy book to attach an identity to.

Why is everyone drawing James and Harry as POC all of a sudden? I’ve been trailing through the tag and it’s everywhere
I wouldn't call it "all of a sudden" - even with the limited contact I had with the fandom before I dived back in the deep two years ago, I know it goes back several years. There's no particular reason other than "why not?" - it doesn't contradict anything in the books and it's a good look on them. Also, there's the Indian name Hari, which I just looked up and apparently is associated with the Leo zodiacal sign? Cool *and* fitting!
People in fandom always like an opportunity to feel closer to the characters, so POC, queer etc. representations of them have always existed and are becoming more popular/widespread as people become more comfortable sharing those parts of their identities. I'm guilty of the half-Greek James, myself! ;D Either way, I'd say the HP universe in particular offers very good ground for alternative representations of the characters - lots of characters, most described with only a couple of their more striking features, if at all. Indian characters are never described in any way that pictures them as decisively so - as a young, non-British reader of the books, I read "Parvati and Padma Patil" and my only thought was "huh, weird names" because I was completely unfamiliar with the culture - so for all we know, there may be more of them, James and Harry among them!
(Don't talk to me about the movies' casting. The movies couldn't even get Harry's eye colour right.)

I think it's cute both Harry and Ginny birthdays are almost in the same time and both share the same zodiac. What's your thoughts on this? I don't i you believe in zodiac stuff but I think it's a cute thing Harry and Ginny shared.
Seeing that today is Ginny's birthday, I'll answer this ask because it seemed pretty in theme.
My relationship with this kind of things is a bit weird because I don't believe in any of it but I come from a long quite direct line of women who believe in the zodiac, can read palms, the cards, are superstitious, have apparently premonitory dreams... It's a long story. The summary is that I've learned a decent amount of stuff by proximity.
Anyhow, it's quite fitting for Harry and Ginny to have the same zodiac sign seeing that it is supposedly an indicator of personality.
I think that some personalities need to be matched and others need to be balanced. Harry and Ginny possess already a fair amount of balance within themselves and therefore need to be matched. Even if when necessary they balance each other out.
It's also very fitting that they are both leos, so the sign of the lion.
Leos, in reference to the animal, are supposedly people with great charisma who naturally find themselves at the centre of attention and it suits them. They don't need to try to be leaders, they just naturally are. Reminds you of two characters we know?
Leos are also extremely loyal, it's basically impossible for them to cheat. They are very confident and don't let stupid inconveniences disturb them. As the lion, they resemble the figure of the royal, the king (or queen). So they enjoy the beautiful things of life, strive always for light and repudiate darkness. You can see how Harry and Ginny fit very easily in this narrative.
The leo is extremely passionate in general, it's a fire sign after all, but especially in love and it is driven by the heart (legend says that this may also make them more prone to cardiac problems).
Again, if there are two people in the HP books who are driven by passion and the heart, they are definitely Harry and Ginny.
Always in link with the lion and its mane, it's said to be rarer for those who are born under this sign to be bald and they usually have great hair. The beauty of Ginny's long flaming red hair is something that accompanies us through the entire saga and from the scene at the lake between James and Lily we can deduce that the typical Potter's hair is quite attractive too.
The leo is a zodiac sign greatly influenced by the sun, and in the story, we have many references to the sun and light in association with Ginny alone but also her relationship with Harry. The sun is for sure something Harry craves.
It's a fixed zodiac sign (Idk if this is the correct term in English, I'm translating from Italian) which means that it's at the centre of a season, summer in this case. Summer is very important in Harry and Ginny's relationship, many relevant transitions in their relationship happen in summer, including when they become close friends and Harry's feelings for Ginny reach a point of no turning back.
The colour of the leo is golden, just like Ginny's dress at Bill and Fleur's wedding when Harry was pining like a poet from thirteen-century Tuscany. In general, the colour gold is a reference to light and warmth, dominant themes in their relationship.

Do you feel HL overcompensated for the bad reputation Slytherin gets? I keep seeing this take a lot on different videos of the Slytherin HL gals and lads but I kind of don't understand it. People have to bear in mind the Slytherin house in HP was during a different time when the wizarding world was on the brink of another war and the people who caused the last one were from Slytherin...so of course a lot of the upcoming students were going to try to not be sorted in there while the bad eggs who were kids of death eaters would be trying to get in there. Plus there are lots of examples of adults who did not grow up in the wizarding war who were Slytherin and didn't go bad throughout the books and we see this in the Cursed Child (as much as people hate that book) when the Slytherin kids aren't growing up in a war.
I think people see what they want to see. Statistically, I think all four houses are in balance in regard to "good" or "bad" wizards and witches. It absolutely does not matter which House you're sorted into, it might say something about a bigger part of your personality but it doesn't become your identity (although lots of people view it that way, which is concerning). Someone in Hufflepuff can still be cunning, someone in Gryffindor can be a coward, someone in Slytherin can behave in altruistic ways, and someone in Ravenclaw can be lazy. It's like saying your zodiac sign defines you, it's ludicrous.
People love having a scapegoat to point their fingers at and yes, because of Salazar and his blood-purity brainrot, people with similar inclinations tend to favour Slytherin, which creates an echo chamber and it's tough to get out of that. Tough, but not impossible. Lots of Slytherins reject this sort of thinking and "evil" doesn't originate from this house, either. Members of other Houses can absolutely come up with dark thoughts, prejudices and curses on their own. Slytherin should not be labelled as evil. Conversely, the other Houses shouldn't be labelled as pure. There are enough criminal witches/wizards who came out of different Houses, three prominent ones might be Pettigrew, Quirrel and Lockhart, but there are a lot more.
I think in Hogwarts Legacy the devs just tried to balance it out and it's also not like they had enough time to explore multiple characters from different houses to the same extent. That Sebastian just so happens to be a Slytherin speaks more for his ambition than his favourable view of the Dark Arts. And it's not even that he's evil for evil's sake. Good intentions lead him down this road, he doesn't want world domination, he wants to save his sister's life.
