thinking about reader and gojo who co-parent megumi and tsumiki. reader who starts carrying around candy/sweets for the children like I’m thinking candied ginger for megumi because he prefers things with ginger and doesn’t really love sweet stuff too much. maybe for tsumiki something strawberry/cherry/lemon flavored. one time when they’re all out together, reader reaches into their bag and hands megumi candied ginger and tsumiki her flavored candy. gojo obviously pouts because where is his candy??? reader who notices a puppy eyed stare directed at them by the over 200 cm baby that’s standing next to them. reader holds out two types of candy trying to get him to pick one even though he’s already had so many sweets for the day. gojo who pouts harder and whines about where his favorite candy was because how could you ever leave him out like this. reader who gives him a deadpanned stare asking him if he could even pick a sweet item (one that they could reasonably carry around) and gojo who rattles off the name of a random candy that he knows is a pain to get. he’s obvious joking he doesn’t really expect reader to carry around candy for him, he can teleport after all and he can literally get anything and everything he wants (he’s rich and spoiled). So the next time they’re all out together and reader hands the children their treat, gojo is ready to put on another shameless scene about how you forgot about him before he’s stopped by a palm held out to him. he looks down to the candy in front of him and his mouth goes a little dry. reader who hesitantly asks if they had gotten the wrong candy for him and gojo who just continues to stare because he wasn’t really expecting it. just the strongest sorcerer caught by surprise. reader who goes to take their hand back only for the candy to be snatched right out of their palm by the grinning man baby standing in front of them. gojo who grins as obnoxiously as he can to hide the fact that his ears are turning pink and his heart is about to jump out of his chest. reader who gives him a bright smile, happy and oblivious to what they’re doing to him, just glad that he accepted the candy. megumi and tsumiki just giving them the ‘are you serious?’ stare, who cannot believe how dumb their guardians are. just reader and gojo smiling at each other before megumi (who’s really tired of them) tells them that they have to go. reader who spends the rest of the day happy with the little group they consider their family and gojo with an overactive heart thinking he might have to pay a visit to shoko. gojo who later on when he’s alone in his room, the kids have gone to bed in their rooms across from his and you’ve returned to your own apartment not too far from his own, stares at the candy wrapper unable to control the emotions brought on by a mere piece of candy. unable to truly come to terms with the fact that he’s really in love.
