#Greek names

Note
My current preferred name feels too feminine at this point, and I’m looking for a masculine/Gender neutral name that sounds masculine.
I really love books, Greek mythology, and Wicca. I want something common, but also spelled differently, and would sound perfect with a last name that starts with C. It really matters to me that it has a sort of charm to it!
Thank you so much!!
oh boy do LOVE this one <333

So just sat down while my sister did her nails and started naming most of the characters I remember in the Iliad and the Odyssey. I got to about 50+ characters before she threw me out.
Honorable mention:
The dude that Athena threw out of Diomedes' chariot; his charioteer.

Hello. Do you happen to have resources or suggestions for the every day names that were used in pre-Hellenistic Greece? I tried to use behind the name but they are either mythology/historical names or they sound too late period
The list is potentially endless for the pre-Christian era. Ancient Greeks often made compound names consisting of two words with - usually but not necessarily! - positive meanings. That gave the parents the ability to come up with anything they wanted. Also, parents gave the name to the baby a few days after it was born but often Greeks changed names even in adulthood, when there was something very notable about them that inspired a new name which suited their personality better. Some men however had names ending in -ides, -ades, -idas. And some women in -is and -ida.Those indicate descent from a father or ancestor, for instance Pelopidas is the son of Pelops.
As for the compound names, they can be literally anything. This applies to real people’s names, names of prominent historical figures and several legendary and mythological characters. I found a list with names recorded in ancient findings though. Tumblr wouldn’t let me copy paste it here because the paragraphs were getting too long, so I am just adding the link. At first it has lists of names organised based on the profession or other quality of the name-bearer. This is a little confusing so I suggest you scroll down the article until you find this title:
ΠΛΗΡΗΣ ΚΑΤΑΛΟΓΟΣ ΑΡΧΑΙΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΩΝ ΟΝΟΜΑΤΩΝ ΘΕΩΝ, ΗΡΩΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΠΡΟΣΩΠΩΝ
(=Full catalogue of Ancient Greek names of gods, heroes and people)
It gives the masculine names in alphabetical order. Then under the title
ΓΥΝΑΙΚΕΣ
there is the catalogue of feminine names, also in alphabetical order.

Names I'd like to have more in media for metaphorical reasons
Disclaimer: I'm doing this out of the back of my head, so don't come after me. I'm not an expert in anything and I might have a different interpretation of the story. Do your own research.
Eve/ Eva/ Ewa
Christian/Jewish
The first human woman, she was banished from paradise because she was curious.
For those who were punished for curiosity
2. Adam/ Edim/ Edam
Christian/ Jewish
The first human man, he was banished from paradise because he trusted Eve
For those who blindly trusted the ones they love
3. Pandora
Greek
The first human (woman), she was gifted with a jar, that she was told to never open. She did it anyways (because she was so curious what is in the jar) and released all bad spirits (violence, war, famine, illnesses etc.) onto this world. She now has to guard the jar, which contains only one spirit: Hope
For those who brought evil into this world, without meaning to
For those who bring hope
4. Seth
Egyptian
Everyone hated Seth because he was the god of the dessert. So he killed his brother Osiris (the current king) to get the throne, the rule over the people who ignored him all those years.
For those who were always dismissed
For those who gave themself justice (or revenge)
5. Gnowee
Wotjobaluk (Native Australian)
Personification of the sun. She once was a mortal woman, who lived in darkness on earth and people only could move with the aid of bark torches. One day she left her little son sleeping while she tried to look for food. As she tried to go back, she couldn't find her son. So she climbed the sky to look for him, but she will never find him.
For those who never give up
For those who will do everything for their children
6. Israel
Jewish
His "Christian" old name was Jacob. He went to the desert, fought against God and won. So he got a new name (Israel) wich means: He who fought God
For those who fight against something bigger than themself
7. Hestia
Greek
She is the oldest Olympian Godess and the Godess of family. Her siblings all have petty (all of time), but she always tries to negotiate between her family
For those who are for peace
8. Romolus
Roman
He founded Rome with his brother Remus. When Remus did something against Roman Law, Romolus killed his own twin.
For those who are so obsessed with rules that they sign their own doom
9. Lorelei
German
She was like a siren but kind of different. Lorelei was the daughter of a river (the Rhein, if I remember correctly) and always sat naked at her father's side, because he promised to protect her or sm. So when sailors saw the beautiful Lorelei and wanted to get to her, her father Rhein always drowned said sailors.
For those who get a lot of bullshit from men
Those who don't do anything wrong, but always get wronged
10. Atlas
Greek/Roman
He is forced to carry the sky until eternity.
For those who are doomed with a task that will ultimately destroy them
I may do a part two in the future. Stay tuned.

I have an OC named Popsicles™. The first part is pronounced like a Greek hero, Pop-suh-kleez, and the second part like a Roman cognomen, Superscriptium ("superscript tm," the trademark symbol)
Popsakleez Superscriptium
Popsicles™
I have no idea what to do with this character, I just thought the name was funny.

Γεια σου aunty!
This might be a random question, but what are some nicknames people in Greece use for Μαργαρίτα? It is my Greek name, but I don't know what people actually go by.
Ευχαριστώ!
Γεια σου πουλίμ! I think usually we say this name whole! (When we say names whole we want to showcase their beauty. Ofc if you want to shorten it that's totally fine!) Ρίτα is a shortening option! Friends, please add more nicknames if you know them!
This song came to mind with this ask :D

Potamiana, Butamina
Photo by Ismael Abdal Naby studio on Pexels.com Origin: Egyptian/Coptic ⲡⲟⲧⲁⲙⲓⲁⲛⲁ Gender: feminine Meaning: “from the lake; from the sea.” Potamiana is a latinized form of the Demotic Tꜣ-pꜣ-ym, ultimately derived from the Coptic Tapiam ⲧⲁⲡⲓⲁⲙ meaning “of the sea; of the lake.” It later evolved into the Greek Taphomis Ταπιωμις, and further hellenized as Potamiana. Butamina and Butamiyana…
