Glitch Time
“The Boy King is weak,” said High Priest Ay to the general, Horemheb.
Emma shot the priest and he dissolved into dust.
No, that was after.
There were realities where Kira hadn't found them in time, realities where she'd died while out scouting or had never been on Ecates at all. Oddly, there were no realities wherein their little squadron of seven had ever been prepared for the Naiki attack; each and every time, they were caught in varying degrees of surprise.
Emma watched the facility burn, watched the researchers flee as floe worms burst from the ice to devour them like grapes. She watched instances where Marsh and Sarah failed to eject in time. “I can bail you out again, like I did with the worm,” Emma said over private coms to Daughter, “But this time I want something in exchange.”
Emma shot the priest and he dissolved into dust.
None of that happened.
She shivered in the cockpit, blinking in a vain attempt to focus sundered vision. Chaos raged all around her but most of her consciousness was sinking into the Lich's velveteen waters. It was impossible to process time without Sam, but here she was trying to do it all by herself anyway. She had to.
The threads of time were so silver, so beautiful, so cold. Emma reached for one, pulled; Knell began to move faster. That was in the future.
The hammer fell, the hammer fell, the hammer fell.
There were no words in any human language for how horrible the sound was. The Tokugawa caved like an empty soda can and there was nothing left of JW to even scrape out of it.
She jumped.
She jumped.
She jumped.
The hammer obliterated the Lich and turned Emma into human paste instead. She drank deeper, pulled a new thread, engineered a reality where the Demolisher was now meters away. This time, Thresher could react. The hammer never fell. She was back at her soul vessel.
Emma shot the priest and he dissolved into dust.
No, not yet. Breath came ragged; she convulsed in the cockpit. Emma fumbled the threads and the missiles landed and now her mech was missing an arm and she was crying laughing screaming and she couldn't move and she couldn't move and she couldn't move and she couldn't see and she reached for the threads she had to hold the threads she had to pull the threads her team needed her where was Sam where was Sam when was Sam why wasn't Sam here?
A hand caressed Emma's face. She looked up. The field was a ruin of burning bodies. She watched herself, in the third person, lift the Unraveler and fire.
Emma shot the priest and, finally, he dissolved into dust.
The battle was over.
She couldn't even rely on GANDALF to take her back to safety. That, too, she had to do by herself – but by now she was deep underwater. Sound and vision came muffled. She followed on mental auto pilot behind Harvester's blurry outline, only able to track him because he glowed so bright. Somehow, that got her back into the maintenance bay.
Once there she managed to power the core back down, but thereafter vacillated between raving and catatonic in the cockpit, clutching her ankh amulet in both hands. Until today, she could have counted the number of times she'd had to glitch time like this on both hands and still have a few fingers left over. Ostensibly, that was why her boss had wanted to print a Lich in the first place, but...Emma had never had to use the core like this twice in one day, let alone twice in one month. Today, she'd done it twice in as many hours.
New threads of reality kept flowing past her eyes. She didn't know how to make it stop. No wonder Sam felt so exhausted, living like this. Tears flooded in the longer she watched. The facility and the people inside of it were safe – that was the most important thing, she knew. But it was far from perfect. The generator should have never taken a hit. Actium and Black Baccara should still be standing. That mysterious Monarch chasing Knell should have never gotten away.
The core was out of power now, but maybe...maybe once it was recharged, she could try again and get it right...
For now, all she could see were a thousand-thousand realities, none of which were her own. She saw everything she could have done different. She watched deaths on repeat. She saw angles of existence normally invisible to human eyes, and hidden truths spoken of only in the Lessons. This happened every time she used the core, but...it'd never lasted this long before.
Emma laughed, and cried, and, somewhere in the remaining depths of her fraying consciousness, prayed desperately for it to stop.

Fancy Dress Costume, 1910s, The John Bright Historical Society.
Mesh over cotton, trimmed with corn and artificial fruit, flowers and foliage. Sickle of painted board.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The enthusiasm for fancy dress balls, parties and other entertainments that grew throughout the 19th Century continued well into the following century. Aristocratic guests at the grand society costume balls held during this period often favoured outfits based on historical, mythological or literary characters, having access to images in family portraits, paintings, and illustrated books that they were able to have professionally interpreted by their tailors and court dressmakers. Many middle class women, for whom the making of fancy dress was a domestic pastime, took an enthusiastic creative approach, considerably aided by the publication of catalogues that offered dressmaking patterns for amusing abstract themed costumes, along with those of more conventional characters. This two-piece dress, made from gold mesh over broad bands of terracotta and golden yellow cotton possibly suggesting furrowed fields of stubble, represents Harvest. It is profusely decorated with bunches of grapes, berries, ears of corn, poppies and autumnal foliage. It was probably an ambitious, but inexpensive home-made project. Unused trimmings and remnants of cotton (one printed at the selvedge with the brand name ‘Silvasheen’, a low-priced sateen lining fabric widely available in 50 colours) survive with it. Although fairly roughly constructed by hand and machine, each band of colour has been painstakingly cut and seamed together, possibly with the guidance of a dressmaking pattern. The accompanying sickle is made of board, crudely painted in silver to imitate metal.
Additional Images also illustrate an earlier design for a Harvest or Gleaner outfit in Mrs Leach’s Fancy Ball Costumes catalogue, published in the 1880s.

Hymns to Dionysus
Homeric Hymn 26 to Dionysus
I begin to sing of ivy-crowned Dionysus, the loud-crying god, Splendid son of Zeus and glorious Semele. The rich-haired Nymphs received him in their bosoms from the lord his father And fostered and nurtured him carefully in the dells of Nysa, Where by the will of his father He grew up in a sweet-smelling cave, Being reckoned among the immortals. But when the goddesses had brought him up, a god oft hymned, Then began he to wander continually through the woody coombes, Thickly wreathed with ivy and laurel. And the Nymphs followed in his train with him for their leader; And the boundless forest was filled with their outcry. And so hail to you, Dionysus, god of abundant clusters! Grant that we may come again rejoicing to this season, And from that season onwards for many a year.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysus
Dionysos I call, loud-roaring and divine, Primeval God, a two-fold shape is thine:
Thy various names and attributes I sing, O, twice-born, thrice begotten, Bacchic king:
Wild, ineffable, two-form'd, obscure, two-horn'd, With ivy crown'd, howling, pure.
Bull-fac'd, and warlike, bearer of the vine, Endowed with counsel prudent [Eubouleos] and divine:
Triennial, whom the leaves of vines adorn, Of Zeus and Persephone, occultly born.
 Immortal daimon, hear my suppliant voice, Give me in blameless plenty to rejoice;
And listen gracious to my mystic pray'r, Surrounded with thy choir of nurses fair.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysus Khthonios
Dionysos Khthonios, hear my pray’r, Awakened rise with nymphs of lovely hair: Great Amphietos Bakkhos, annual god, Who laid asleep in Persephone’s abode, Did’st lull to drowsy and oblivious rest, The rites triennial, and the sacred feast; Which rous’d again by thee, in graceful ring, Thy nurses round thee mystic anthems sing; When briskly dancing with rejoicing pow’rs, Thou move’st in concert with the circling hours. Come, blessed, fruitful, horned, and divine, And on these rites with joyful aspect shine. Accept the general incense and pray’r, And make prolific holy fruits thy care.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysos Lenaios
Hear me, Zeus’s son, blest Bacchus, god of wine, Born of two mothers, honor’d and divine, Lysian, Euion Bacchus, various-nam’d, Secret child of gods, holy, fam’d Fertile and nourishing, in whose liberal care Earth’s fruits increases, flourishing and fair; Sounding, magnanimous, Lenaean pow’r O various-form’d, medicinal, holy flow’r: Mortals in thee, repose from labour find, Delightful charm, desir’d by all mankind: Fair-hair’d Euion, Bromios, joyful God, Lysian, invested in the leafy rod. To these our rites, benignant pow’r incline, When fav’ring men, or when on Gods you shine; Be present to thy mystic’s suppliant pray’r, Rejoicing come, and fruits abundant bear.
Orphic Hymn to Triennial Dionysus
Bacchus frantic, many-nam’d, blest, divine, Bull-faced Lenaean, bearer of the vine, From fire descended, raging, Nysian king, From whom initial ceremonies spring: Liknitan Dionysos, pure and firey bright, Eubouleos, crown-bearer, wandering in the night: Pupil of Persephone, mysterious pow’r, Triple, ineffable, Zeus’ secret flow’r, Ericapaeus, first-begotten nam’d, Of Gods the father, and the child fam’d, Bearing a scepter, leader of the choir, Whose dancing feat, frantic Furies fire, When the triennial band thou dost inspire. Loud-sounding, Tages, of a firey light, Born of two mothers, Amphitios bright: Wand’ring on mountains, cloth’d with skins of deer, Apollo, golden-ray’d, whom all revere. God of the grape with leaves of ivy crown’d, Bassarian, lovely, virgin-like, renown’d, Come blessed pow’r, regard thy mystic’s voice, Propitious come, and in these rites rejoice.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysus Bassarius:
Come, blessed Dionysus, various nam’d, bull-faced, Begot from Thunder, Bacchus fam’d Bassarian God, of universal might, Whom swords and blood and sacred rage delight: In heav’n rejoicing, mad, loud-sounding God Furious inspirer, bearer of the Rod By Gods rever’d, who dwells’t with humankind, Propitious come, with much-rejoicing mind.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysus Liknitos:
Liknitan Dionysos, bearer of the vine, Thee I invoke to bless these rites divine: Florid and gay, of nymphs the blossom bright, And of fair Venus, goddess of delight, Tis thine mad footsteps with mad nymphs to beat Dancing thro’ groves with lightly leaping feet: From Zeus’ high counsels nursed by Proserpine And born the dread of all pow’rs divine: Come, blessed daimon, regard thy suppliant’s voice, Propitious come, and in these rites rejoice.
Orphic Hymn to Dionysus Perikionios:
Dionysos Perikionios, hear my pray’r, Who mad’st the house of Cadmus once thy care, With matchless force, his pillars twining round When burning thunders shook the solid ground In flaming, founding torrents borne along, Propt by thy grasp indissolubly strong. Come mighty Bacchus to these rites inclin’d, And bless thy suppliant with rejoicing mind.
Verses from the first Hymn to Dionysus in Euripedes’ Bacchae
O blessed is he who, happy in his heart, Knows the initiation rites of the gods, Purifies his life and Joins his soul to the cult, Dancing on the mountains, with holy purifications Celebrating the Bacchic rituals. O blessed the man who dutifully observes The mysteries of the Great Mother, Kybele. Swinging high the thyrsus And crowned with ivy He serves Dionysus. Onward you Bacchae, onward Bacchae, Escort the roaring Bromios home, A god an the son of a god! Escort him Down from the Phrygian mountains into Greece’s wide-wayed streets, Streets wide for dancing, Bromios the Roaring God! […] Sweet is the pleasure the god brings us in the mountains. when from the running revelers he falls to the ground clad in his sacred fawnskin. Hunting the blood of slaughtered goats for the joy of devouring raw flesh he rushes through the mountains of Lydia, of Phrygia. Hail to the Roaring God, Bromios our leader! Euoi! The ground flows with milk, Flows with wine, Flows with the nectar of bees. The Bacchic One, lifting high the bright-burning flame of the pine-torch, like the smoke of Syrian frankincense, springs up and rushes along with his thyrsus. Running and dancing he incites any wanderers, shakes them with shouts of joy tossing his luxuriant locks to the wind.
(Translation by Stephen Esposito)
Horace’s Hymn to Bacchus
Bacchus on the far-off rocky hills, teaching his chants – you who are still to come, believe me – I saw him and his student Nymphs and goat-footed Satyrs and their pointed ears.
Euhoë! – my soul trembles with that moment's fear, Bacchus possesses my breast and I madly rejoice. Euhoë!, spare me, god of freedom [Liber], spare me, god of the fearful thyrsus of power.
I must celebrate your inexhaustible revelers, and the fountains of wine and full rivers of milk, and mirror in song honey dripping from the hollows of trees;
I must celebrate your bride and her constellated crown, and Pentheus' palace shaken to bits in a mighty downfall, and the destruction of Lycurgus of Thrace.
You control the streams, the savage sea, you are hot with wine as on distant hilltops you bind Bistonian [Thracian] women's hair with a knot of vipers that do not harm them.
And when the rebellious army of giants tried to climb the heights to the Father's kingdom, you were the one who threw back Rhoetus and his terrible lion's claws and teeth;
Although you were said to be more suitable for dances and fun and games and were labeled unfit for a battle, yet you took your part in war as well as in peacetime.
You were graced with golden horn when Cerberus saw you: he was harmless, and softly wagged his tail, and as you were leaving, he licked your legs and feet with all three of his tongues.
(Translation by Joseph P. Clancy, University of Chicago Press, 1960)

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
CHARACTER NAME: Katniss Everdeen
CHARACTER FACECLAIM: Bianca Fischer
CHARACTER AGE/DOB: 25, May 8th 1998
CHARACTER PRONOUNS/GENDER IDENTITY/SEXUALITY ETC: she/they, demigirl, greysexual
CHARACTER FANDOM (if relevant): the hunger games
OC OR CANON: canon
CHARACTER JOB ETC/RELEVANT TITLES: celebrity (Capitol Management- modeling, acting) titled nation’s girlfriend and newly christened face of Snow’s re-election campaign
IMPORTANT CHARACTER INFORMATION TO NOTE AND SHARE (this could be important headcanons for initial plotting, mini bios etc, supporting docs):
tw: ( exploitation, fire mention, parental death, substance abuse, etc )
So many people dream of making it big, of moving away from their small towns to some city filled with lights and luxuries they could only imagine. Katniss Everdeen was never one of those people. From her small farm town St. Helena, the only thing she wanted was peace. Her mother was one of those people from a city, having settled down with a simple farm man to help cultivate his grapes and live some simple life outside of the glitz and glam that once ruled her life. She never forgave him for dying in a wildfire that wiped out half of the town. Katniss could never forgive her for falling apart when her daughters needed her most. The next few years were full of hardships, the farm and land all but lost, leaving the Everdeens of already simple means with only a shack to their name. Prim didn’t seem to mind much, but the eldest always did her best to keep the worst from touching her sister. She worked hard to keep them afloat while their mother drifted off in some medically induced stupor. She cooked and cleaned and hunted and harvested and did her damnedest to ensure their lives were somewhat kept together. Primrose was always pretty, but as she grew up far faster than Katniss would like, others seemed to notice. It was only a matter of time before the right– or entirely wrong– person would notice. An agent, a woman by the name of Effie Trinket that worked for some hot shot producer, Cornelius Snow. She’d heard the name, everyone did. They knew his work, knew his talent, heard the rumors of his relentless nature. The little Everdeen couldn’t pass up the opportunity: to save their family, to save their farm. She couldn’t say no. So Katniss said no for her. “Take me instead.” Famous last words.
( following history dependent on peeta lore as well )
Competing on a modeling survival show was the last thing Katniss ever would have considered, and yet there she was, not only competing… but winning. Like that nasty wildfire that devastated St. Helena those years ago, the eldest Everdeen swept through the nation like an unstoppable flame, despite her best efforts. It seemed her stoic, distant demeanor was a breath of fresh air. People didn’t just like her sour, dour expressions, they ate it up. They loved the grit, the realness, or at least that’s what they said. The grumpy girl from nowhere took California, and the US, by storm. Her face was plastered on every billboard from NYC to Seattle within a matter of months. The nation’s girlfriend, they dubbed her, and absurd and unfitting title if you asked her. When promotions finally ended, she figured she could finally be free and return to a somewhat normal life. However, she hadn’t read the contract fine print well enough, it would seem. The Everdeen now indebted into Capitol Management for the foreseeable future as a model and actress, a part which she begrudgingly played well enough. Years passed and now she would be cast as the face of upcoming re-election campaign for the once producer now governor of California, one Cornelius Snow.

✨ @cosmicnexus. meme. still accepting!
📂 vi just a really luvs good fuckin’ charcuterie board. sometimes he don’t wanna slave over the stove in the morning. sometimes he just wanna chill on the roof with some wine first thing in the morning and a buncha nibbles…. fruits galore like strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, orange slices, pineapple, grapes. cheeses like brie, triple cream, goat cheese, havarti, burrata….. prosciutto, salami, ham, cured chorizo, capricola, soppressata, summer sausage, etc for meats. dried fruits like apricots, cherries, figs, pineapple, mango. crackers. chocolate. just throw it all on a big ass tray, head up to the roof, and enjoy.
he does it every couple of days out of the week. mostly because he’s so tired when he gets home. like he’ll cook for himself and he’ll order whatever, but a charcuterie board really hits the spot for him. all the variety too! he loves mixing fruits with cheeses and experimenting with different crackers and bread.
📂 he attended midland in california for high school. its a crazy academic boarding school for some of the best of the best but the twist is everyone lives in cabins and they gotta pick their own food and heat their own showers. here’s a blurb:
The School is located on 2,860 acres ( 12 km² ) of largely undeveloped ranchland characteristic of central California’s coastal hill country. Students live in cabins, which are heated by small woodstoves. ( For students’ safety, their cabins have sprinklers. ) Students chop wood to make fires to heat their shower water. Some 25 percent of Midland’s electricity needs are met with grid-tied, student-installed solar arrays. While the library is wired with high-speed internet connections, several campus buildings were constructed decades ago by students and faculty. Cell phones are not allowed on campus.“  Midland School is first and foremost a rigorous college preparatory boarding school. While we value experiential education as an integral part of our approach, we are not a shop school, trade school, or an adventure school. The fundamental rigor of Midland’s curriculum isn’t watered down with trips or projects that don’t put learning at their core.”
Midland’s emphasis on experiential learning extends into our weekend programming. Every Saturday, Midland students have a 3-hour block dedicated to exploring the passions of our community. These workshops broaden the academic horizon by introducing students to activities such as knot-tying mathematics, trail restoration, marine ecosystem exploration, cattle-herding, screen printing, and more. An integral part of Midland’s philosophy is self-reliance, and students and faculty perform much of the work that goes into maintaining the school. All students have daily jobs that help maintain the school – carpenters, cooks, classroom cleaners, plumbers, librarians, etc. In addition to daily jobs, faculty and students gather on Sunday mornings to hear a senior give a talk on a subject of personal interest. Leviticus
Chapter 19
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy. 3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. 4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God. 5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will. 6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire. 7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted. 8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. 10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God. 11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. 12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. 13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning. 14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD. 15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. neighbour. 16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD. 17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. 19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. 20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. 21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering. 22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him. 23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. 24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal. 25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God. 26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. 29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. 30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. 31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. 32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD. 33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. 35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. 36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt. 37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

Jevijoe in Tbilisi, Day 21
In the morning, I went to the yoga class that focuses on energy flow, a different type of yoga in which the stomach is the main concern and the instructor emphasizes that the stomach, like our second brain, is an independent thinker. Most of the postures we have done were about how to increase blood flow to our digestive system to combat stress and anxiety.
Then I headed to Gold Market, a shopping center offering a diverse selection of jewelry. Here I met Tamara Khoshtari, an accomplished contemporary jewelry designer. She used to live in New York and was well-traveled. She guided me into the world of jewelry making, and together we explored the silversmith's workshop spaces located underground in the gold market building. I had my first-hand experience witnessing jewelry design and making; the process is similar to casting a sculpture, but on a small and intimate scale. I was beginning to love the process of making it, from the designing using a 3D computer app and 3D printing to the actual fabrication, which is a lot of manual labor and refining. I felt like this would be my second career in the future!
I visited Tamara's studio, which was located in the main central area of Tbilisi, and told her that I was familiar with the area as I watched a documentary on YouTube about the Georgian civil war in the 1990s, where the area was a war zone and many buildings were destroyed by heavy artillery. We chat briefly about that horrific phase in the history of modern Georgia, in which her family was deeply affected.
Tamara offered me homemade wine, and I was fascinated by homemade wine, which is common here since a lot of residential homes in the city have grapevine backyards. She suggested I visit Tbilisi in different seasons between September and October to witness grapes growing and harvesting. I would really love to visit the city again soon!
After my productive adventure on jewelry making, I attended the event called Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power, organized by Doca Film Club and held at Amirani Cinema. It was a film showing the politics of cinematic shots and how mostly Hollywood movies frame the female body, followed by a group discussion.

Office Fall Decorations Ideas to Create a Cozy and Festive Ambiance
Introduction: As the crisp autumn breeze fills the air, it's time to infuse your office space with warm, inviting fall decorations. Whether you aim to enhance productivity or simply create a festive ambiance, these office fall decoration ideas will inspire you to transform your workspace into a cozy and enchanting autumn retreat.
1. Harvest-inspired centerpieces: Deck your office tables with charming harvest-inspired centerpieces. Incorporate a mixture of miniature pumpkins, pinecones, and seasonal fruits like apples, pears, and grapes. Arrange them in rustic baskets or elegant glass bowls to bring a touch of the fall harvest indoors.
2. Fall foliage garlands: Bring the vibrant colors of fall inside by adorning your office space with fall foliage garlands. Hang these garlands along windows, walls, or office partitions to liven up the atmosphere. Consider using maple leaves, sunflowers, and colorful ribbons to create a visually captivating display.
3. Cozy textiles: Add warmth and comfort to your office environment by incorporating cozy textiles. Switch out lightweight curtains with thicker drapes, and adorn chairs with autumn-colored throws or cushions. Opt for textiles in warm hues such as deep oranges, rich burgundies, and earthy browns to celebrate the season's palette.
4. Pumpkin and gourd accents: Pumpkins and gourds are iconic symbols of autumn, making them perfect additions to the office decor. Place a variety of sizes and shapes throughout the office space, such as on reception desks, window sills, or bookshelves. Consider personalizing them by painting the company logo or inspirational quotes on select pumpkins.
5. Warm lighting: Create a cozy and intimate atmosphere with warm lighting choices. Replace harsh fluorescent bulbs with soft, warm-toned options, such as Edison bulbs or string lights. Place these lights strategically around the office to create inviting nooks and enliven common areas.
6. Seasonal wall art: Add visual interest to your office walls by displaying autumn-themed artwork. Hang paintings or prints featuring fall landscapes, harvest scenes, or abstract artwork that embodies the vibrant spirit of the season. These eye-catching pieces will inspire creativity while adding a touch of elegance to your workspace.
7. Scented candles and potpourri: Enhance the sensory experience of your office by incorporating autumn scents. Light scented candles with fragrances like pumpkin spice, cinnamon, or apple cider. Alternatively, consider placing bowls of potpourri filled with dried fall leaves, cloves, and other aromatic spices to create an inviting aroma throughout your workspace.
Conclusion: With these office fall decoration ideas, you can transform your workspace into a cozy and festive haven that inspires productivity, creativity, and a sense of seasonal joy. By incorporating harvest-inspired centerpieces, warm lighting, cozy textiles, and seasonal accents, you'll create an inviting atmosphere that celebrates the beauty and essence of autumn. A family medical emergency sent me back to my hometown and the surrounding area over the weekend. ⁣ ⁣ While I wish the trip had been more for fun, it's a gorgeous time to be in the upper midwest! ⁣ ⁣ The air is crisp, the trees are turning color, and on a clear day, the sky always manages the perfect shade of blue.⁣ ⁣ 🍂 Transitioning into Autumn, it can be easy to lean on "traditional" rustic fall colors--olive green, pumpkin orange, brick red, harvest gold.⁣ ⁣ Fun fact: there are TONS of bright, vibrant colors in Fall, if you're willing to see them!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ One of my favorite Fall color combos is orange and navy. ⁣ ⁣ 💙 Swap out the navy for a brighter blue (say, sky blue), however, and you have another winner! Woot woot!⁣ ⁣ Chocolate brown pairs beautifully with sunny yellow, warm gold, and peachy orange.⁣ ⁣ And let's not forget lime green! 💚⁣ ⁣ It works with SO many other colors, such as:⁣ ⁣ Orange (especially light-medium! 😍)⁣ Yellow⁣ Navy blue⁣ Bright blue⁣ Grape purple⁣ Coffee bean brown⁣ ⁣ ... to create a bright and lively combo that's still seasonally appropriate!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ So, as you're updating your home decor (and even your Fall wardrobe!), tell me:⁣ ⁣ 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁?⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🖼️: 'The Joy Of a Job Well Done' - prints available for purchase here: https://christikraftphotography.com/featured/the-joy-of-a-job-well-done-christi-kraft.html (at Madison, WI) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjitmRJLDHI/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
