Spirits and their common uses and misconceptions
So today I wanted to talk about a few spirits which, not much is so far known of through literary writing, but more so through celestial knowledge. (each spirit will have its own section)
The Pythoness - many Christian and Judea religions view the pythoness spirit as a demon like spirit that is meant to steer one away from Gods path and imbue one with negative thoughts such as death and sickness through the mind, yet I've personally found and many civilizations prior and after that the story is not as such. In yogic practices there is a certain breathe and practice of the kundalini. Kundalini is the term for "a spiritual energy or life force located at the base of the spine", conceptualized as a coiled-up serpent. The practice of Kundalini yoga is supposed to arouse the sleeping Kundalini Shakti from its coiled base through the 6 chakras, and penetrate the 7th chakra, or crown. This allows for an open pathway as a connection to God, elevated spirits and the spirits of the afterlife, our ancestral spirits, within celestial planes. In buddhism giant serpents were seen as protectors of the dharma, the truth that liberates us, standing strong against any attack. Many psychics, seers, mediums, witches and tarot card readers tend to have a spirit who knows one of two things about divination, prophecy and esoteric knowledge, but the pythoness spirit is looked at more like the all seeing eye or the eye of ra and horus. In greek mythology Leto the great she-wolf was cursed to never give birth upon the land as Hera set her out to be cursed by her daughter and for Gaia to not allow her to give birth to her two children. Through Zeus' interference Leto was able to give birth to both Artemis and Apollo. Later Apollo went to go slay a Snake that had threatened Leto and therefore gained the ability to turn into a snake himself. He declared the island previously known as Pythos to be Delphi and as the God of prophecy later became a hub for those seeking answers from great oracles once a year, known as Pythias. These women were great prophets and witches alike that danced with fire and tamed snakes to dance along with them protecting the island from attacks and monsterous threats as to pay respect to Apollo. These were women and men of wild nature who allows there instincts to guide them through the understanding of the great divine. One with nature they became medicine workers, prophets, seers, musicians, dancers, pyromancers, snake charmers, witches and mages and dream weavers.
These great spirits are revered as a highly elevated court in spiritualist practices, sometimes just perceived as the spirits of tarot decks or oracular objects they are forgotten as being far too complex to be seen as just that. Through the force of light they bring great aid to those they are on spiritual journey's with, they rid of hexes, curses and spiritual illnesses. They guide through prophetic dreams, clairvoyancy, clairsentience, clairaudience and mediumship. They are capable of conjuring powerful spirits and the spirits of the dead (necromancy), as well as a straight line communication to God, gods and goddesses. They move through the celestial tides of the universe and bring forth great health, wealth, abundance, freedom and spiritual knowledge to those they favor. They are quite benevolent spirits who help bring in death or the spirit of change for the better and to rid old stubborn ways of the past. They are great teachers of dark and light magic. They aid in learning and music as well. Helping those with charisma and the ability to enchant and/or charm enemies and others alike. They have such affinity towards chocolates, gold, silver, wine, fire, candles, light, mirrors, divination tools, water, flowers and floral scents, perfumes, snakes and music. There number is 7 and their flower is the rose, particularly the white rose, but other colors are fine as well. They also enjoy sunflowers, as they venerated Apollo, and the Anise star. Their colors are Red, burgundy, gold, emerald green, white, silver, purple, and brown. Yet each is different and might prefer a royal blue for all we know each spirit is different to another so getting to know ones spiritual court is quite important. Stones like diamond, ruby, jade, emerald, citrine, labradorite and amethyst can be given to such spirit as well as Selenite and Amber each representing Artemis and Apollo. These spirits can sometimes be confused with a better known spirit Santa Martha la Dominadora. You may even have both within your spiritual court, but they two hold many similarities.

Prayer to the Pythoness
O Blessed Pythoness, I invoke your humble yet wild nature into my life, I give you thanks for the visions told and untold and for the sight to see my path clearly. May your connection to God and all living things be great and full of love and respect. May your tides of wisdom bring peace to the land and bestow upon me and my loved ones a blessed hand. Lady of the fire, imbue me with your holy flames may they burn away all evil done unto me by others or by my own hand. May your light charm those who seek no good into doing acts of kindness and greatness and may your soothing voice bring sweetness and riches to the land and seas. You the one who tamed the dragon and serpent to your gracious hand. Tame my enemies and bring good fortune to those in need. Help the world against devastation and may your great cobra bring forth the promise land. Lady of the land and sea, conjure your celestial winds to protect me and bring good news from the heavenly lands. Through the eye of the one who can see I plea to you humbly and in need. As it is. So mote it be. Amen
Say this prayer with Psalm 91 3x and Psalm 4 3x under the flame of a white(or yellow) light end with a Glory be. It will help receive divine messages through divination or prophetic dreams and help transmute negative energy and protect against evil eye.
Oracion a La Pitonisa
Asi sera. AMEN

Gaia unravels the ancient threads of the Milky Way
ESA’s Gaia space telescope has further disentangled the history of our galaxy, discovering two surprising streams of stars that formed and wove together over 12 billion years ago.
The two streams, named Shakti and Shiva, helped form the infant Milky Way. Both are so ancient they likely formed before even the oldest parts of our present-day galaxy’s spiral arms and disc.
“What’s truly amazing is that we can detect these ancient structures at all,” says Khyati Malhan of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA) in Heidelberg, Germany, who led the research. “The Milky Way has changed so significantly since these stars were born that we wouldn’t expect to recognise them so clearly as a group – but the unprecedented data we’re getting from Gaia made it possible.”
Using Gaia observations, the researchers were able to determine the orbits of individual stars in the Milky Way, along with their content and composition. “When we visualised the orbits of all these stars, two new structures stood out from the rest among stars of a certain chemical composition,” adds Khyati. “We named them Shakti and Shiva.”
Truly ancient fragments
Each stream contains the mass of about 10 million Suns, with stars of 12 to 13 billion years in age all moving in very similar orbits with similar compositions. The way they’re distributed suggests that they may have formed as distinct fragments that merged with the Milky Way early in its life.
Both streams lie towards the Milky Way’s heart. Gaia explored this part of the Milky Way in 2022 using a kind of ‘galactic archaeology’; this showed the region to be filled with the oldest stars in the entire galaxy, all born before the disc of the Milky Way had even properly formed.
“The stars there are so ancient that they lack many of the heavier metal elements created later in the Universe’s lifetime. These heavy metals are those forged within stars and scattered through space when they die. The stars in our galaxy’s heart are metal-poor, so we dubbed this region the Milky Way’s ‘poor old heart’,” says co-author Hans-Walter Rix, also of MPIA and the lead ‘galactic archaeologist’ from the 2022 work.
“Until now, we had only recognised these very early fragments that came together to form the Milky Way’s ancient heart. With Shakti and Shiva, we now see the first pieces that seem comparably old but located further out. These signify the first steps of our galaxy's growth towards its present size.”
A complex family tree
While very similar, the two streams are not identical. Shakti stars orbit a little further from the Milky Way’s centre and in more circular orbits than Shiva stars. Fittingly, the streams are named after a divine couple from Hindu philosophy who unite to create the Universe (or macrocosm).
Some 12 billion years ago, the Milky Way looked very different to the orderly spiral we see today. We think that our galaxy formed as multiple long, irregular filaments of gas and dust coalesced, all forming stars and wrapping together to spark the birth of our galaxy as we know it. It seems that Shaki and Shiva are two of these components – and future Gaia data releases may reveal more.
Khyati and Hans-Walter also built a dynamical map of other known components that have played a role in our galaxy’s formation and were discovered using Gaia data. These include Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus, LMS1/Wukong, Arjuna/Sequoia/I’itoi, and Pontus. These star groups all form part of the Milky Way’s complex family tree, something that Gaia has worked to build over the past decade.
“Revealing more about our galaxy’s infancy is one of Gaia’s goals, and it’s certainly achieving it,” says Timo Prusti, Project Scientist for Gaia at ESA. “We need to pinpoint the subtle yet crucial differences between stars in the Milky Way to understand how our galaxy formed and evolved. This requires incredibly precise data – and now, thanks to Gaia, we have that data. As we discover surprise parts of our galaxy like the Shiva and Shakti streams, we’re filling the gaps and painting a fuller picture of not only our current home, but our earliest cosmic history.”
TOP IMAGE....An artist’s impression of our Milky Way galaxy, a roughly 13 billon-year-old ‘barred spiral galaxy’ that is home to a few hundred billion stars. On the left, a face-on view shows the spiral structure of the Galactic Disc, where the majority of stars are located, interspersed with a diffuse mixture of gas and cosmic dust. The disc measures about 100 000 light-years across, and the Sun sits about half way between its centre and periphery. On the right, an edge-on view reveals the flattened shape of the disc. Observations point to a substructure: a thin disc some 700 light-years high embedded in a thick disc, about 3000 light-years high and populated with older stars. The edge on view also shows the Galactic Bulge, located in the central portion of the Milky Way and hosting about 10 billion stars, which are mainly old and red. The bulge, also visible in the face-on view on the left, has an overall elongated shape that resembles that of a peanut-shaped bar, with a half-length of about 10 000 light-years, making the Milky Way a barred spiral galaxy. Beyond the disc and bulge is the stellar halo, a roughly spherical structure with a radius of about 100 000 light-years, containing isolated stars as well as many globular clusters – large, compact conglomerations of some of the most ancient stars in the Galaxy. On a grander scale, the Milky Way is embedded in an even larger halo of invisible dark matter. CREDIT Left: NASA/JPL-Caltech; right: ESA; layout: ESA/ATG medialab
CENTRE IMAGE....ESA’s Gaia space telescope has further disentangled the history of our galaxy, discovering two streams of stars that formed and wove together over 12 billion years ago. The two streams, named Shakti and Shiva, helped form the infant Milky Way. Both are so ancient that they likely formed before even the oldest parts of our present-day galaxy’s spiral arms and disc. This image shows the location and distribution of Shakti (yellow) and Shiva (blue) stars throughout the Milky Way. The streams were discovered using ESA’s billion-star surveyor, Gaia. Gaia observations enabled the researchers to determine the content and composition of the individual stars, which in turn revealed more of their properties and showed their movements through space. LOWER IMAGE....The Milky Way has a complicated past. Our galaxy is filled with stars that arrived at different times in cosmic history, delivered as another galaxy or object collided with the Milky Way and was subsequently consumed. This image shows a few of these different starry populations, with each colour representing stars that joined the Milky Way via a different collision event. Two of these streams are newly discovered thanks to ESA’s billion-star surveyor, Gaia. Data from Gaia enabled researchers to determine the content and composition of the individual stars making up the Shakti (pink) and Shiva (pale blue) streams, which in turn revealed more of their properties and movements through space. In fact, Gaia has helped to reveal several of these past collisions. The two frames show different kinds of information about the stars plotted against one another – information related to their energy and motions as they orbit and move through space – to create the fan-like and diamond shapes shown here. The rectangular box labelled ‘R’ represents a ‘ridge-like structure’. [Image description: Two graphs show a distribution of stars on a white background. Small groups of stars that belong together can be recognised, they were given the same colour and a population name.] CREDIT ESA/Gaia/DPAC/K. Malhan et al. (2024)

Theory: The Allmother
To the Hindus she is Shakti, to Wiccans she is Herodias, to Heathens she is Frigg. In Hellenic Pagan and Roman Pagan communities she may be Cybele, Rhea, Gaia, Hera, Magna Mater, Tellus, Ops, or Juno.
Tumblr media
Regardless of her manifestation, this Allmother has found her way in many expressions of society irrespective of culture. Even the Avatar series has a Mother God (Eywa, a permutation of "Yawe").
Why did She appear? An easy explanation would be that fertility and creation were associated with femininity and motherhood, so a divine Genetrix was developed across different nations to express a common archetypal idea. But perhaps there is a more significant reason for Her presence.
Freud theorized that patricentric and androcentric religions arose as a result of tribes psychologically coping with the deaths of their patriarchs. Your paternal figure died? Deify him. Then he lives forever and will be with you in spirit. That was the idea, and younger deities like Zalmoxis (Ζάλμοξις) emerging from dead humans are evidence of this phenomenon.
I believe the Mother Goddess came about as a result of the brutality of early humanity. The first 200,000 years of our development were filled with bloodshed, killing by stronger predators, and natural disasters such as droughts. This violent contribution to our evolution meant that Young Humanity had little time for compassion or altruism. As a response to this excessive bestial cruelty, a "sacred feminine" was developed by various societies to cope with the evil that surrounded them.
This mechanism (if I may use such a crude term) has served its purpose in arising when societies are on the brink of collapse to steer people in the right direction. She was Sophia to the Valentinians and Mary to the Christians, but once patriarchal structures were enforced by greedy and power-hungry priests, this peace-producing principle was kept in the shadows and buried, resulting in humanity in general losing its capacity to love and sympathize and devolving into wars.
She is rising again, I believe in response to the god-awful state of so many countries. The spirit of revolution, of peace, of science, of ingenuity, of creative energy, of justice, is spreading her wings once more in the hearts of many. "Like the Star of Autumn who, surpassing all Lamps, is ever-shining, bathed in the ocean", to quote Homer.
And we are left with two options: move with Her, or get out of the way.

Article: Gaia telescope reveals new insights into Milky Way's history – DW #DWnews #StarCrossed https://www.dw.com/en/gaia-telescope-reveals-insights-into-milky-ways-history/a-68623614
ArticleSummary: - The European Space Agency's Gaia telescope has discovered two ancient streams of stars, named Shakti and Shiva, that merged with the Milky Way early in its existence. The stars in the streams are 12 to 13 billion years old and are believed to have formed before the oldest parts of the Milky Way's spiral arms and disc. Gaia's data reveals that the region where the streams are located contains the oldest stars in the entire galaxy. The discovery provides insight into the growth and evolution of the Milky Way and suggests that it formed when multiple long filaments of gas and dust coalesced billions of years ago. The ESA hopes that future data releases from Gaia will provide more details about the formation and evolution of the Milky Way.
By #www.smukher2.com #www.smukher2.eu #www.smukher2.co.uk #www.smukher2.org #www.smukher2.net #smukher2 to #Everyone: The scientists wanted to name the stars the original God and God's power, based on Aryan Hinduism that's not Shiva and his wife Shakti/Parvati, but its Krishna and Radha (not husband wife because that was not necessary are they were one existence complete in equilibrium). As per Aryan Sanskrit tradition, calling these star streams #Krishna (God) and #Radha (God's power) would be more apt, because #Shiva is really a demi-God created by #Krishna (God) and power of God is #Radha not Shiva's wife #Parvati #Shakti. Infact, "Hare Krishna Movement" clarified this, that Hinduism believes in One God (Krishna has other names and incarnations too like Neel Madhav, Jagannath, Vishnu, Narayan and Ram), and Jesus as 'Son of God' is son of Krishna, while Radha is the power of God Krishna (has other names and incarnations like Sita). In later corruptions of the original Aryans i.e. North Indians by South Indian i.e. Dravidians, Radha or Lakshmi was portrayed as daughter of Shiva and Shakti/Parvati, to put Vishnu and Lakshmi as next-gen, when in reality Shiva Parvati/Shakti are next-gen. Ergo, Aryan traditional Krishna-Radha Hinduism and modern Aryan traditional Jesus Christ Christianity are consistent theologies/philosophies. The fact that symbols like the swastika, Shiva, and Shakti are found in European countries, particularly Germany, should not surprise those that know the history of the golden human civilisation i.e. the western civilisation. This is because the Sanskrit tradition, which is deeply rooted in these elements, actually originated in Europe and made its way to India, rather than the other way around. Let's delve into this concept a bit further and clarify a prevalent myth. A common misconception is that ancient Hindu language, Sanskrit, and its philosophies and symbols were born in India. However, the truth is that these aspects of ancient Hindu culture have their origins in Europe. They were then introduced to India through the Aryan invasion, which can be seen as the first attempt by Europe to civilize the barbarian Indian subcontinent. This idea of civilizing the barbarian Indian subcontinent continued with the subsequent invasions by the British, Portuguese, and Dutch. These nations were bringing civilization to a land of the uncivilized. This can be compared to the United States' attempt to civilize the barbarian Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, Spain's efforts to civilize barbarian South America, and the attempts by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom to civilize barbarian Africa. Despite these numerous attempts, the barbarian culture problem persisted, as these civilizing efforts were not entirely successful.
The First Aryan, European attempt to civilize the world: The theory of the Aryan invasion, initially proposed by Western scholars, has now been established as a scientific fact through genetic evidence. This invasion involved a race of Europeans or Central Asians, referred to as Aryans, who entered the Indian subcontinent, occupied by barbarians of the Indus Valley Civilization. These Aryans played a pivotal role in shaping Indian culture, introducing elements such as the Sanskrit language (which gave rise to the Indo-Aryan branch of languages spoken across North, West, and East India) and the foundational texts of Hinduism, the Vedas. Over time, the ancient Aryan system underwent modifications. In the Indian subcontinent, it was corrupted by locals, leading to the inclusion of superstitions and the oppression of women, such as the practice of "sati daha" during widowhood. Conversely, in the region of Eurasian steppe, where Aryans originally hailed from (covering areas from Hungary to China), the system was corrupted in parts of present-day Russia and Iran due to the influence of Russians, Chinese, and Muslim jihadis, resulting in practices like "stoning women" and anti-western civilization endeavours-- similar to how muslim jihadis and jew jihadis corrupted the holy land Jerusalem the birth place of Jesus Christ.
Interestingly, the European Aryans in their original homelands remained civilised, even spread their civilisation effectively in continent of North America and Australia, these together comprise the present day Western civilisation, the epitome of human civilisation, the only hope for humanity to save us from overpopulating over polluting barbarian black brown muslim and jews. Genetic studies, such as the "All of US," UK, and European gene banks, along with Asian studies, support these findings through the analysis of both ancient DNA fossils and present-day population DNA (see references). Phenotype, as demonstrated by Gregor Mendel in his studies of pea plant flowers, is crucial in the field of genetics. This highlights the importance of understanding genetic factors in the study of human populations and their historical evolution. Mendel gave Mendelian inheritance theories of inheritance in genetics by studying color of the plant flowers. Now getting back to phenotype and genotype to further consolidate the discussion. Within the diverse Indian population, one can observe variations in skin color, which can be attributed to the predominance of either Aryan white or Dravidian brown/black (South Indian aka Dravidian) genes. These genetic differences result in individuals with lighter or darker skin tones. For instance, Prince Harry's children have a predominantly white appearance approximately 75% white (Aryans), due to the combination of their mother's white father and black mother, while Harry himself, had both white parents. The story of the Aryan invasion of the Indian subcontinent, which has been proven true through genetic evidence, serves as a significant chapter in human history. This invasion marked Europe's first attempt to civilize the world, occurring thousands of years before the second attempt.
The Second Aryan, European attempt to civilize the world: This was initiated by great European explorers Alexander von Humboldt, Marco Polo, Vasco Da Gama, Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Captain Cook, Lewis and Clark, Livingstone and Stanley, and others, who ventured to North America , Australia, South America, Africa, and Asia to civilize the uncivilized territories, they were successful with North America and Australia but the rest remain barbaric and uncivilised. Here’s the non-woke real facts about these great explorers (also see History's Greatest Voyages of Exploration): Marco Polo was an Italian merchant and explorer who traveled to Asia in the 13th century, becoming one of the first Europeans to visit China and the Silk Road. His detailed accounts of his travels helped to introduce Europeans to Asian culture and goods. Vasco Da Gama was a Portuguese explorer who led the first expedition to sail from Europe to India, opening up a profitable trade route that circumvented the Arab-controlled land route. His voyage in 1497-1498 was a major achievement in the Age of Discovery. Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer who famously reached the Americas (North and South America) in 1492, initiating European exploration and initiation of civilisation in the region. His voyages paved the way for further European expansion and trade. Alexander von Humboldt (often called the second Columbus) was a renowned German explorer and naturalist who traveled extensively throughout the Americas (North and South America) in the early 19th century, conducting scientific research and documenting the regions he visited. Ferdinand Magellan was a Portuguese explorer who led the first expedition to circumnavigate the globe in the early 16th century. Although Magellan died during the voyage, his crew completed the journey, proving that the Earth was round. Captain Cook was a British explorer and naval captain who conducted three voyages to the Pacific in the late 18th century, mapping uncharted territories and making important discoveries in geography, botany, and anthropology. Lewis and Clark were American explorers who led the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition in the early 19th century, commissioned by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the western territories of the United States. Their journey was instrumental in mapping the region and establishing American claims to the land. Livingstone and Stanley were British and American explorers, respectively, who famously met in Africa in the late 19th century. Livingstone was a missionary and explorer who sought to discover the source of the Nile River, while Stanley was a journalist who famously found Livingstone after an extensive search. Their expeditions helped to map and open up the interior of Africa to European exploration.
P.S. One of the most enlightening books I have encountered about the Aryans and their commendable contribution to civilise the world, especially the part about India was introduced to me by my father. The book called “Return of the Aryans" delves into the historical account of the Aryan invasion and its profound impact on the Indian subcontinent (also see The Origins of the Aryans by Isaac Taylor). By exploring the origins of Aryan civilization and its influence on shaping human history, this book sheds light on the lasting legacy of the Aryan invasion and its role in the broader context of global civilizations. Aryans (Europeans ancestry is the technical term that woke prefer instead of white) continued their golden civilisation and generously tried, and continue to try to civilize the barbaric part of the world.
P.S. Did you know that Gregor Mendel, the father of genetics, was actually a priest? His work in studying the inheritance of traits paved the way for modern genetics, showing that science and Christianity can coexist harmoniously. While there have been historical conflicts between the Church and scientific discoveries like those of Galileo and Darwin, it's important to consider the context of the time. Back then, science lacked the advanced tools, technology and discoveries that we have today, like NASA/ESA spectroscopy and the Hubble/Web telescope, as well as genetic evidence to support new theories, so it was understandably difficult for the church and everyone who was not a scientist for that matter, to believe Galileo and Darwin. In recent times, the church stated sex change is not possible/approved, which again is founded on genetics i.e XX chromosome is female and XY chromosome is male, its possible that because of Mendel who was Catholic priest church is more familiar and comfortable with genetics scientific evidence than other techniques like spectroscopy/telescope, and that's ok its better to be cautious than wrong like #RichardFeynman says in Pleasure of Finding Things Out "better to have questions than answers that are wrong". We need more #GregorMendels and #LeeStrobel #CaseForChrist, scientist/logician christians in this world to bridge the gap between non-scientist people and scientists/logicians. This concept of using factual, logical deduction to guide faith is also illustrated in a quote from Sherlock Holmes in the Naval Treaty: "There is nothing in which deduction is so necessary as religion. It can be built up as an exact science by the reasoner." This quote from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes Short Story links the goodness of God to the beauty of a rose, a reflection of how the resurrection of Jesus provides a logical and factual foundation for faith, obviating the need for “blind faith”. It's worth noting that both science and church have made mistakes in the past. For instance, alchemy, turning iron into gold by Newton et al didn't work though, I would say alchemy turning one element into another did make a comeback again thanks to advanced tools technology and discoveries that showed that radioactive elements are unstable so transform to stale elements spontaneously. This discussion goes beyond the scope of this post but could be explored further in a potential book #fairwissenschaft. Let's continue to seek understanding and bridge the gap between faith and reason for a more enlightened future.

Referência do periódico: K. ⁤Malhan e H.-W. Rix. 'Shiva e Shakti: supostos fragmentos protogalácticos na Via Láctea ⁤Interna'. O Jornal Astrofísico. DOI: 10.3847/1538-4357/ad1885.

Farhan’s Personal Practice - 07/10/2023
Currently working on revitalizing my personal practice, and re-evaluating the deities I am working with. Here are the major changes I’ve made thus far!
1. I have been trying to work with Shakti in the form of Durga and Kali for the past year or two, but have recently realized that they have no interest in working with me. This was a hard thing to accept - especially given how long I had been working on my relationship with Durga in particular - but I also feel like a lot of tension has left me since coming to this realization. Since accepting this I have felt a recent pull to dedicate my devotion to Sarasvati and Shailputri! Sarasvati I chose because I both felt drawn to her, and because as a Capricorn she is a very auspicious Ishta Devata for me. As for Shailputri, I felt intuitively drawn to her (I can explain this more if anyone’s curious ☺️).
2. Again finding a deity who I don’t work with well - I am changing my focus from Hestia toward Gaia. I don’t believe Hestia is *against* working with me - but I feel like her attitude towards me can be summed up by a shrug emoji 😅. However I feel *very* intuitively compelled to learn more about Gaia and see if this is a better fit.
3. I am working on building a relationship with Apollo and I’m having mixed results 😅 he seems genuinely interested in building a relationship with me but also seems *super* jealous any time I’m trying to work with other deities, or even research other deities? (Has anyone else experienced a kind of possessive nature in their dynamic with Apollo?) I used to be a devotee to Diana/Artemis before my transition, and recently I wanted to try working with a male deity for a change (I typically only work with female deities). After seeing some people talk about their experiences with him on here I decided to give it a shot :)
4. In my person practice I center most things around the 4 elements - so ideally I’d like to have 4 core deities I work with. Currently I have Apollo for Fire, Sarasvati for Water, Gaia for Earth, and Shailputri for Air. I’m trying out this arrangement to see how things work out - but I’m not 100% set on anything yet.
If you want to learn more or have any questions my ask box is always open!

The Terrible Wounds Caused
by Narcissistic Mothers
Tumblr media
A Narcissistic Mother who cannot empathise, completely damages her child’s emotional and psychological development. Classically, a Narcissistic Mother attempts to shape her daughter into a version of herself, or her idealised self, through immense and on-going criticism. Recovery from having been raised by one is absolutely horrific, but is usually possible through by replacing the internalised, negative maternal voice with self-nurturing. The Mother is our very first introduction to life and more importantly in psychology, to ourselves. We learn about ourselves and the world first, through interactions with her. We biologically long for her emotional sustenance, her presence and protection. In healthy cases, her empathetic reflections of our feelings, wants, and needs informs us of who we are and that we have value. Very similar to Narcissus in Greek mythology, she sees her children only a reflection of herself. There is no boundary of separateness between her and her children. She simply cannot see them as unique and special individuals worthy of love. The Narc mother sees her daughter as a tremendous threat and she will project onto her children the unwanted aspects of herself, such as selfishness, self-centredness and coldness but also disliked traits and characteristic of her own mother. How does the Narcissistic Mother actually abuse though you may ask? Well, repeated shaming and control, which deeply undermine the developing identity of a young girl. This creates terrible insecurity, that seems to follow her everywhere she may go. She teaches her from a young age - or programmes and conditions her - to not trust her own feelings. The Narc mother is always unhappy - which the child internalises as their own fault. The Mother is somehow always displeased, and sadly the daughter or child doesn’t realise that The Narc Mother will never ever be satisfied. In more severe cases of emotional abuse or neglect, the daughter may begin to feel like she truly has no right to exist, is a massive burden to her mother and should never have been born. Often husbands or partners of Narc Mothers, if not also abusive, are passive - and do not protect their daughters from this maternal psychological abuse. Many of these mothers lie, and of course hide their abuse. The daughter never actually learns how to dis-engage herself or protect herself at all from this harm. She feels defenceless in terms of standing up for herself and doesn’t even recognise this terrible mistreatment until much later in life. She is never accepted by her Mother for just being herself. She has to choose constantly between sacrificing herself or having no love, which leads later on in life to codependency in adult relationships. Her true self is by her Mother constantly rejected, and then later eventually by herself too. The repeated abuse leads to internalised shame - based on the false belief that she is not lovable. But she does not know that, because she has not experienced anything else, until a much older age, she is not aware that this is not normal. How could she ever be worthy of love from another human being when her own mother didn’t love or accept anything about her?
This shame within the daughter is compounded by bubbling anger or hatred toward her mother that she does not understand or can’t even explain. She believes it is further evidence of her wrongness and that all of her mother’s criticisms must be true. Never ever feeling good enough, her life becomes one long drawn out pattern of striving and lacking any real fulfilment. Since she has been trained and taught that love must be earned, and is not unconditional, her adult relationships become extremely heartbreaking cycles of repeated abandonment. Emotional comfort and closeness is normal in maternal experience and care giving, but here, of course - they are absent. She is not provided with closeness or comfort as others are. The Narcissistic Mother tends to dismiss her child’s psychological or emotional needs, leaving her absolutely starving. Her daughter of course cannot pin point what has been missing her whole life but deeply craves warmth and understanding from her mother. She may experience this warmth, love and understanding from friends or relatives sometimes, or witness it in other mother-daughter relationships, but never actually for herself. She yearns for connection. She doesn’t learn to identify or value her emotional needs, nor learn how to meet them. Mothers with NPD are sick in that they believe the world revolves around them - they completely control and manipulate their children’s emotions and choices, where and when they can - and take it as punishment worthy when they can’t. Parenting becomes their way or the high way. Total self involvement leads these Mothers to often completely just neglect or deprive their daughters. They want their daughter to look, dress and behave just as they do, and date people they would date, and work at places they would work, and have hobbies they would have. Essentially they do not see their most likely highly lovable daughter as a separate person. They see their child as a copy of them and attempt to live through their daughter. If their daughter has a different clothing style, for example, or chooses a different line of work to what they consider acceptable, they are even further emotionally abused. They are condemned and criticised and met with disgust by their Mother. Unknown to them, their Mother is a Narcissist, who cannot be happy for others when they experience happiness. They probably feel jealousy or envy, but never happy for them, and this becomes very known and obvious. The daughter is met with backhanded comments and rude remarks, glares, grins or smirks - but never love and acceptance. They criticise absolutely everything their daughter likes or wants - undermining her ability to think for herself, to choose for herself and to pursue her own happiness in life. Later on in life, these daughters often fall into controlling and abusive relationships. The Narc Mother also loves to compete, as often she fears that she is not any longer ‘the fairest of them all’ which motivates her her compete with her daughter for affection and love from others. If there is another person in the home for example, like a Father or sibling, the mother may not step in and protect their daughter against abuse. They may also reject every single partner that the child brings home, claiming that they are ‘not good enough’ whilst simultaneously inappropriately flirting with them or competing in conversations for attention. They also constantly invade their daughter’s privacy and undermine her relationships with her friends and other relatives. The mother essentially keeps pushing her down, either overtly or subtlety. Recovery from narcissistic abuse is difficult because this person has grown up with terribly persistent feelings of rejection and shame that take time and effort to unravel. The first step in truly understanding it though, is that the negative messages that the Mother has relayed to the Daughter in hopes to suppress her, are untrue. Replacing the negative internal voice created by her with a positive one is essential. One has to practice self compassion. These Mothers are only concerned about their daughters appearance and accomplishments, but never their feelings or emotions. They tend to also be very verbally aggressive towards their daughters. These Mothers absolutely love to gaslight and guilt-trip. They compare their daughters constantly with other siblings or peers, and somehow simultaneously expect praise for raising children. It is ghastly how they train the child to accept verbal abuse and manipulation from others in relationships later on in life. The damage they do is truly too deep. They daughters go on to later become people pleasers who accept blame for everything unfairly, either chasing love as an adult or entirely avoiding it. It makes them question whether they are even actually safe around other people. It negatively impacts how they navigate love later on and connect with others through life at all. The abuse throughout childhood can lead to eating disorders, personality disorders and anxiety related disorders in the daughter too.

S’alka: Exploring the Transformative Power of Undomesticated Energy
S’alka is a Quechua word meaning “wild.” The connotation that don Américo Yábar gives this word is “free, untamed, or undomesticated energy.” S’alka energy touches everything that is in nature, Mother Earth, and the infinite spaces of the Cosmos. S’alka energy movement activates the will to a clearer perception of oneself and others in relation to consciousness. In this presentation, don Américo will share his experience and perspective on the traditions of the Andes and offer some practical energetic movements to enhance connection with S’alka, with the natural world, and with each other. Consciousness in the Andes is expressed as Being, or Ser, subject to the Pachamama and the Cosmos, moving into a life of reciprocity and complementarity. It extends from the heart (munay) to the Cosmic Mind to include everything as alive and provided with sacred energy. “The S’alka is a unique teaching in that it blossomed from the heart of the Andes, is resonant with the Andean culture, but is in no way an imitation of those indigenous traditions,” says don Américo. “One might say it is a path inspired by the heart of the Andean tradition. However, it is also resonant with the great insights of other heart-based traditions of the world, distilling into practical, somatic, and energetic transmissions a transformational or transfigurational experience.” ABOUT AMÉRICO YÁBAR don Américo Yábar is a poet, mystic, writer, therapist, and founder of the energetic S’alka movement who comes from the heart of the Andes of Peru. Don Américo studied law and social psychology in Spain. He specializes in the traditions of the communities of the high Andes, has been immersed in learning and teaching throughout his life, and has actualized in the art of living. Don Américo has spent more than 40 years sharing with groups around the world in connection with the spirit of nature.

Two of the Milky Way's earliest building blocks
The early history of our home galaxy, the Milky Way, is one of joining smaller galaxies, which makes for fairly large building blocks. Now, Khyati Malhan and Hans-Walter Rix of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy have succeeded in identifying what could be two of the earliest building blocks that can still be recognized as such today: proto-galactic fragments that merged with an early version of our Milky Way between 12 and 13 billion years ago, at the very beginning of the era of galaxy formation in the Universe. The components, which the astronomers have named Shakti and Shiva, were identified by combining data from ESA’s astrometry satellite Gaia with data from the SDSS survey. For astronomers, the result is the equivalent of finding traces of an initial settlement that grew into a large present-day city.
Tracing the origins of stars that came from other galaxies
When galaxies collide and merge, several processes happen in parallel. Each galaxy carries along its own reservoir of hydrogen gas. Upon collision, those hydrogen gas clouds are destabilized, and numerous new stars are formed inside. Of course, the incoming galaxies also already have their own stars, and in a merger, stars from the galaxies will mingle. In the long run, such “accreted stars” will also account for some of the stellar population of the newly-formed combined galaxy. Once the merger is completed, it might seem hopeless to identify which stars came from which predecessor galaxy. But in fact, at least some ways of tracing back stellar ancestry exist.
Help comes from basic physics. When galaxies collide and their stellar populations mingle, most of the stars retain very basic properties, which are directly linked to the speed and direction of the galaxy in which they originated. Stars from the same pre-merger galaxy share similar values for both their energy and what physicists call angular momentum – the momentum associated with orbital motion or rotation. For stars moving in a galaxy’s gravitational field, both energy and angular momentum are conserved: they remain the same over time. Look for large groups of stars with similar, unusual values for energy and angular momentum – and chances are, you might find a merger remnant.
Additional pointers can assist identification. Stars that formed more recently contain more heavier elements, what astronomers call “metals”, than stars that formed a long time ago. The lower the metal content (“metallicity”), the earlier the star presumably formed. When trying to identify stars that already existed 13 billion years ago, one should look for stars with very low metal content (“metal-poor”).
Virtual excavations in a large data set
Identifying the stars that joined our Milky Way as parts of another galaxy has only become possible comparatively recently. It requires large, high-quality data sets, and the analysis involves sifting the data in clever ways so as to identify the searched-for class of objects. This kind of data set has only been available for a few years. The ESA astrometry satellite Gaia provides an ideal data set for this kind of big-data galactic archeology. Launched in 2013, it has produced an increasingly accurate data set over the past decade, which by now includes positions, changes in position and distances for almost 1.5 billion stars within our galaxy.
Gaia data revolutionized studies of the dynamics of stars in our home galaxy, and has already led to the discovery of previously unknown substructures. This includes the so-called Gaia Enceladus/Sausage stream, a remnant of the most recent larger merger our home galaxy has undergone, between 8 and 11 billion years ago. It also includes two structures identified in 2022: the Pontus stream identified by Malhan and colleagues and the “poor old heart” of the Milky Way identified by Rix and colleagues. The latter is a population of stars that newly formed during the initial mergers that created the proto-Milky Way, and continue to reside in our galaxy’s central region.
Traces of Shakti and Shiva
For their present search, Malhan and Rix used Gaia data combined with detailed stellar spectra from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (DR17). The latter provide detailed information about the stars’ chemical composition. Malhan says: “We observed that, for a certain range of metal-poor stars, stars were crowded around two specific combinations of energy and angular momentum.”
In contrast with the “poor old heart”, which was also visible in those plots, the two groups of like-minded stars had comparatively large angular momentum, consistent with groups of stars that had been part of separate galaxies which had merged with the Milky Way. Malhan has named these two structures Shakti and Shiva, the latter one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the former a female cosmic force often portrayed as Shiva’s consort.
Their energy and angular momentum values, plus their overall low metallicity on par with that of the “poor old heart”, makes Shakti and Shiva good candidates for some of the earliest ancestors of our Milky Way. Rix says: “Shakti and Shiva might be the first two additions to the ‘poor old heart’ of our Milky Way, initiating its growth towards a large galaxy.”
Several surveys that are either already ongoing or bound to start over the next couple of years promise relevant additional data, both spectra (SDSS-V, 4MOST) and precise distances (LSST/Rubin Observatory), should enable astronomers to make a firm decision on whether or not Shakti and Shiva are indeed a glimpse of our home galaxy's earliest prehistory.
IMAGE....A visualization of the Milky Way galaxy, with the stars that Khyati Malhan and Hans-Walter Rix identified in the Gaia DR3 data set as belonging to Shiva and Shakti shown as colored dots. Shiva stars are shown in green and Shakti stars in pink. The complete absence of green and pink markers in some regions does not mean that there are no stars from Shiva or Shakti there, as the data set used for this study only covers specific regions within our galaxy.
