Hearing/learning about them getting sick (Genshin Impact GN!Reader x Furina, Yoimiya, Faruzan)

I'm kinda rusty on my writing but i thought doing little bits like these would help me get better. Some of them might sound cheesy or out of character like i said i'm rusty and i haven't written anything since my old embarrassing Sonamy fanfics. If anyone wants to request anything with GN!Reader X Genshin, i'll try my best to write for every adult character as long as it's sfw. Sorry for any grammar errors it's like 5AM right now and i wanted to finish this in one go. Hope ya'll have fun reading this!

FARUZAN

You've been working on your projects in Akademiya and haven't saw Faruzan since the early morning, that in itself is a weird sign that something was going on and you decided to visit your lovers house. As you knock on the door you hear shuffling noises, when door opens you see Faruzan wrapped herself in a blanket, barely able to walk, her nose is running, her skin looks pale, her eyes looks puffy and she's trying her hardest to look confident in front of you. "Oh Y/N! I didn't expect you to visit me tod- ACHO!" She sneezes and sniffles her nose. As she was about to speak you stop her and let yourself in. "Alright Madam you're going back to your bed and i'm making you a hot soup and some tea." "H-hey you don't have to i was stuck in a pyramid surely i can take care of myself!" You looked at Faruzan and put your palm onto her forehead to see if she has a high fever or not. Faruzan blushes but doesn't let it get to her head. You give a relived sigh as it doesn't feel that warm. "It's not that bad alright you really don't have to i can make myself some warm soup, take my medicines and rest." You looked at her with a concerned look in your face. "I know you can but with all respect Madam Faruzan i'm refusing and taking care of you, now come on go back to your bed." Faruzan protests but let's you help her get back to bed. When you arrive at her room you gently help her lie back down. While she was about to lie down you can hear her struggle with a headache and a little back pain. "Looks like old age getting to you." You make a snarky comment. Faruzan smiles faintly hits you with one of her small pillows. "Don't disrespect your elders or your partner." You hold her hand and rub the back of her hand with your thumb. This makes Faruzan blush and looks down at tangled hands. "You're going to get sick if you stay close to me." "I don't care, i can take some days off from my projects" "HEY DON'T YOU DARE TO TAKE YOUR WORK LIGHTLY!" Faruzan pulled your hand, even with the state she's in, she still has the power of a angry grandma. You laugh and cal m her down. "Okay okay now madam what would you like as your soup?" You get up from her side and walk towards her bedroom door. "Something with lots of vegetables and sour." Faruzan smiles and lies back down on her bed with a smile on her face feeling safe and loved.

FURINA

It's noon and you decided to visit a small cafe right in front of your house. As you we're drinking your coffee you noticed a familiar armored crab heading towards your house door. It was Mademoiselle Crabaletta, she noticed you sitting in the cafe and basically rushed towards you. Crabaletta looked like she was in a panic and trying to get you to follow her. You decided to pay for your coffee and follow Crabaletta. After you walking and Crabaletta running, you arrive'd at Furina's home. Crabaletta walked towards the door and with some handy moves of her claws she opened the door and pointed you to enter. While entering you heard a faint voice coming towards Furina's bedroom. "Crabaletta? Did you comeback with my medicines?" You heard, your lover Furina's voice and hear her cough really roughly. You heard Crabaletta make some sounds that you couldn't understand and heard a loud Furina from her room. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU BOUGHT Y/N AS WELL!?!" Crabaletta unbothered, pulled out a small bag out of her shell and pulled you with one of her claws towards Furina's room. When you enter the room you see your lover hiding under the covers while her other hydro summons look confused, her sea horse summon Surintendante Chevalmarin was holding a tray with some water and hot tea and Gentilhomme Usher was holding some tissues for Furina's runny nose. You walk towards Furina's bed and sit next to her, she's still under her covers but you can see her shape. You decided to talk out loud. "Oh wow my lover is sick what should i do to take care of her?" The way you spoke made Furina chuckle under the covers and you decided to continue and be more dramatic. "Can she even eat when she's suffering? What kinda see's do i need to cross to find her a proper medicine?!?" Furina pulls her head out of the covers while laughing and looks at you. "Look at you being a drama queen" As she talked you heard her sickly voice, you gently rub her cheeks with your hand. "Learned it from the best. Now chicken soup?" Furina coughs while nodding. "Please"

YOIMIYA

It was a rainy day in Inazuma and you're going through your daily routine, talking with your friends, helping elderly. While going through the villages you see Itto and some kids running towards you under the rain. "HEY Y/N YOU NEED TO HELP YOIMIYA!" Itto picks you up by your shoulders and shakes you like a toy. When Itto puts you back on the ground you rub your head. "Calm down tell me what happened." Itto still panicking. "Look kids told me that Yoimiya haven't been out of her house and her parents told them that she was so sick that she couldn't get out of her bed." After that looked at you in the eyes, breaking your personal space. "YOU HEAR THAT YOIMIYA NOT GETTING OUT OF HER BED!?! THAT'S LIKE SEEING FISHES FLY!" You pat Itto's shoulders and push him a little bit while calming him down. "Dude Itto, chill out, she probably caught cold and resting. But thanks for telling me i'll visit her right away." Itto gives you a thumbs up while still look like he's about to cry. "CURE THESE KIDS BIG SISTER THEY TRUST YOU!" You smile and give him a thumbs up back, and head towards Yoimiya's home. When you arrive you knock on the door, Yoimiya's father Ryuunosuke opens the door and smiles at you. "Oh i was expecting you to show up, i guess you heard about my little girl?" Ryuunosuke smiled and let you in. You walked towards Yoimiya's room and knocked on her door. You hear a faint cough. "Come in!" You open the door and gently wave at Yoimiya, who's been sitting on her bed. When Yoimiya see's you, her eyes lit up and she gives you a big smile. "Y/N! I've missed you my firecracker!" You sat next to Yoimiya and she gave you a hug but then immediately pulled back. "Oh i should keep my distance i don't want you to get sick as well." You smile and hug her back. "Hey if you're gonna take care of me while i'm sick i'm okay with it." Yoimiya burried her head into your chest and wrapped her arms around you and looked up to you. "Alway-ACHO!" She sneezes towards your face and both of you laugh as you two clean your faces with some towels.

She's surprised to say the least. It wasn't something that she was expecting to see when she arrives home. She's very thankful that you thought of her and bought her some beautiful flowers! She accepts them gratefully and will put them as the center piece on a table.

She's happy! She loves the flowers you picked out and will cherish them for as long as she can. She takes extremely well care of them and is disappointed when she has to get rid of them because they've hit the end of their life span. She absolutely loves them and will put them on display and mention how you had gotten them for her.

The poor girl is a little flustered that you had gotten her a gift! Why didn't you tell her before? She would have gotten you something as well! She really does like them though and will always think of you whenever she sees those flowers now! Not that she wasn't thinking of you before, of course.

I mean, of course you got her a gift. Why wouldn't you? Whether this be her thought process to protect her own ego, to hide the butterflies inside her, or even just to poke fun at you before thanking you for them, she really does like the gift! No matter what type of flower it is, she thinks it was very thoughtful of you to get her a gift while you were out!

She has a neutral expression for the most part. You can't tell if she doesn't like it or if she isn't sure how to react. At this point, you might as well ask but, before you can she thanks you. A small smile appears on her face (possibly accompanied by a small blush forming on her cheeks) as she looks at you.

Teyvat Omegaverse Headcanons (Act 1)

This is apart of a collection of headcanons for the genshin characters in my Teyvat Omegaverse AU. I would recommend reading this to add some context to this post. I do use some personal headcanons and ideas for omegaverse. SFW Feat: Faruzan, Heizou , Venti, and Xiao

Faruzan, The Enigmatic Machinist

In a country that values betas over omegas or alphas, praising their ability to not be effected by pheromones that may get in the way of the pursuit of knowledge, Faruzan applied scent blockers diligently to show she was different from other omegas. 100 years ago, being an omega or an alpha meant banging on a glass ceiling in order to be heard the Akademiya. Faruzan has had to adjust to a lot of things in her homeland. From losing her place in time, her research no longer being the jewel of Haravatat and everything else that changed, one uncomfortable idea she had to shed was that her outdated views on being an omega.

In the past, Faruzan felt the need to hide her status as an omega in order to advance her research. The Akademiya was crueler than, often passing over funding requests made by alphas and omegas, citing their natural responses to pheromones leaving it likely they would have to 'pause their research in order to engaged in debased behaviors.' This attitude shifted over the last 100 years, the Akademiya becoming less prejudice towards non-betas. When Nahida formally claimed her place as the Dendro Archon, the Akademiya started working extra hard to remove these bias from their practices and regulations. A joyous moment, but one that left Faruzan having to reconcile her past with the present.

It is well known Madam Faruzan does not like being treated like an omega. When Kshahrewar students seek her help, they make extra sure to treat her like a beta, often forgoing gifts they would normally bring to try and ply omega researchers for a crumb of advice. Her standards for respect is well known and she will not hesitate to fight tooth and nail for it, honed from years of having her work discounted because of her secondary sex.

Faruzan is also oddly protective over the alpha and omega students in the Akademiya, offering often unsolicited advice to them on how to get grants and other resources. Her advice is a little dated, and she can be overbearing at times, but it all comes from a place of kindness. She is dismayed by the current standing of Haravatat and struggles to get students who appreciate her teachings, but she is thankful that they don't have to struggle with the same barriers she had.

Her writings also have an interesting history around them. The book made from her writings was used to establish Kshahrewar and caused quite a stir in the Akademiya. Her work was brilliant and was a key point in the arguments against funding discrimination against omegas and alphas, citing that their work was just as impactful as their beta peers.

Madam Faruzan doesn't like to be touched. She spent 100 years locked in a ruin away from others, so shes extra sensitive to touch even for an omega. While most omegas find cuddling and hugs very calming, its way too much stimuli for Faruzan. This tends to be something that makes it hard for her when socializing. She used to be very touchy with the people she held closest to her, relaxing her guard around them, but now they are gone. She thinks about the last time she had a hug that didn't hurt during late nights in her office.

She does secretly partake in things like nesting, even if they are hidden. Her nest is small, tucked away in what used to be an office. Unlike most omegas, Faruzan keeps puzzles near her nest. The blankets are soft and help her stay calm in heat, but she needs some sort of mental stimuli else she gets nervous. It provides her with a sense of a control during a time when her hormones are making her disoriented. She also doesn't cover the windows and her nest is rather open, preferring to avoid dark or tight spaces during her heat.

As an omega, Faruzan doesn't have an identifying scent, or a scent unique to her. Instead, omegas adopt the scent of places they feel safe or of their home. Faruzan's scent is old parchment and metal, mining the scents of her workspace.

Shikanoin Heizou, The Analytical Harmony

Shikanoin Heizou, the number 1 detective in the Tenryou Commission, is an alpha. It's not unexpected: he's confident, smart and plays by his own rules. Despite the fact he doesn't adhere to the expectations of him being a proper Tenryou Commission Doushin or an alpha, Heizou's work speaks volumes about him.

Being an alpha something Heizou take any particular pride in. Inazuma favors alphas, with them traditionally carrying on the family line . Inazuman culture expects omegas to be strong, powerful, dominant leaders of their 'pack' who guide through example, commanding respect from betas and omegas. Heizou gets frustrated when its commented upon that he should be more responsible or and how he should be taking on a leadership position amongst the Doushin. He's happy as he is and doesn't see a reason why he should be considered superior over betas and omegas according to older Inazumans.

He is, however, protective like a stereotypical alpha. Its not uncommon for him to check in on his friends through out the week to see how they are doing. He makes sure to walk people home late at night, in particular omegas. This stems not from a place of viewing omegas as weak, but from knowing just how often they are targeted by criminals.

While Heizou does use his enhanced sense of smell to help in track down criminals and link evidence to certain individuals who touched it, he's content to pursue justice his way and thumb his nose at the expectations for alphas in Inazuma. The only time he takes advantage of Inazuma placing alphas on top of the social hierarchy is when its needed to get information on a case.

Beyond its use in detective work, he's cheeky about being able to pick up on an omega's emotions through scent or tracking someone down. Heizou loves to tease people, popping up by them to see if he guessed where they would be right based on other clues, or poking fun at serious individuals when he catches them being flustered even though their face is stoic.

Heizou really dislikes how the Tenryou Commission building smells. Its part of the reason he spends as much time away from the headquarters as possible. As an alpha, he can smell just how thick with fear, desperation and grief the air is in there. Even the very walls of his office, which he stopped letting people into, is soaked in these scents. It makes it hard for Heizou to focus, even if other alphas in the Tenryou Commission don't seem to be affected by it. He cares about the people he arrests, having empathy for them and the people they leave behind. To be surrounded by such fear makes him feel sick to his stomach.

Heizou is needy when he is in rut. He is almost inseparable from his omega, only leaving their side when its absolutely necessary for the comfort of his S/O. It is the only thing that can cause Heizou to stay in one place for an extended length of time that doesn't relate to his casework. He's soft, fulfilling any need to ensure that his partner's heat cycle passes safely. His rut also makes him more defensive as his hormones make him more anxious, searching for any threats to him or his omega. If he's forced to be separated from his omega, he'll dreams of a familiar alley with two people leaning against the wall, hand in decayed hand.

Heizou's scent smells like vanilla, black pepper and patchouli. Its a complex scent with sweet and spicy layers to it.

Venti, The Windborne Bard

As the Anemo Archon and a wind spirit, Venti doesn't have a secondary sex. This does not stop people from assuming he is an omega, seeing him as a gentle if mischievous traveling bard. Venti leans into this, playing up the act of a simple omega bard here to play music and offer advice at just the right moment.

Mondstadt doesn't place an emphasis on one's secondary sex, instead treating all as equal. Ultimately, it doesn't affect Venti too much to be seen as an omega vs. a beta or an alpha, so he lets people have their assumptions about him. If anything, it tends to help him charm people into giving him more money for his songs.

Venti does find it amusing to see how alphas, betas and omegas act around each other. He chuckles when he sees the bafflement betas sometimes have when an alpha tracks them down or when an omega curses Celestia for making them extra sensitive to Dragonspine's chill. Kaeya, in particular, has the most colorful curses whenever he has to track up the mountain to get Klee from Albedo

Venti's scent helps let people assume he's an omega. Omega's adopt the scent of their home as their personal scent and Venti smells like Mondstadt. He smells like the apples growing in Starfall Valley, the windwheel asters in Bright crown mountains and every other scent the winds of Mondstadt carry. He carries the scent the wind picks up as it travels through Mondtstadt, which makes his scent actually the closest to a real identifying scent of all the archons.

His favorite game to play when he has way too much time on is hands is 'mess with alphas'. He smells like a omega, but he doesn't produce the range of pheromones an omega would. This confuses alphas who try to key in on his emotions through his scent, often leading to them making guesses that are wildly off. All it takes is a pout or a misleading smile to make them flustered. Diluc has taken revenge for this a few times by purposely luring a cat into Angel's Share.

Most of the Church of Barbatos assumes he would be an alpha based on how protective he is of people in the scripture, so pretending to be an omega helps Venti avoid detection. It also made his attempts to gain access to the Holy Lyre Der Himmel harder because people didn't believe that the tiny omega bard could be Barbatos. Every time he is forced to reveal his identity, he has to deal with the double take. He knows he's short, but come on? He doesn't need to be a big scary alpha to care for his people!

Xiao, The Vigilant Yaksha

Despite being a Yaksha and not having a secondary sex, Xiao has been referred to as an omega by humans for centuries at this point. It developed through a combination of stereotypes, mistranslated of stories and his protective nature that led to this. Early art showed that Xiao was smaller than other Yaksha and his zeal in protecting Liyue has lead people to believe he's an omega who has claimed the whole of Liyue as his nest, his area to protect.

Xiao had mixed feelings once he caught on to this happening. He figured it out when he started to notice pilgrims leaving soft blankets, pleasantly scented balms and even gifts usually associated with alphas courting omegas in Liyue. After some investigation, Xiao was a little miffed that Liyuens assumed he was someone who didn't spend every night of his life fighting to keep them safe, mostly because omegas in Liyue tend to be stereotyped as fragile, delicate humans who shouldn't see the battlefield. Poets wrote lamentations on the Conqueror of Demons, forced to defend Liyue after his pack died as there was no alternative.

Xiao stewed over this for a while. He did lose his fellow Yaksha and mourns in his quiet way, but felt like this view of him was reductive. He defends Liyue to uphold his contract to Morax, dedicating his life to fighting demons to honor how the Geo Archon saved him. It wasn't done out of grief, nor something he was saddled with. It was a choice he doesn't regret, even as his karmic debt hangs over him.

After meeting the Traveler and spending more time around Liyue Harbor, Xiao starts to learn the nuances of this view of him. He originally only knew about secondary sexs through flowery poetry or hearsay, so it was pleasantly surprising to learn more about why people associate him with omegas. He doesn't discriminate over those he protects, guarding Liyue as an omega guards their nest. Its a softer view of him that most people actually hold, one of a caring protector. There are even people who invoke his image in telling stories of hurt omegas, claiming him as their protector in stories.

The Vigilant Yaksha is still mostly confused by secondary sexs, such as why omegas are viewed as 'emotional' and alphas get pushed into roles of leadership, often being pressured into ignoring their own emotions. Its a little silly to Xiao, to treat humans differently based on something given to them as birth, but he's content to be seen as an omega, the guardian of their homes and a figure they can draw strength from in dark moments.

Xiao doesn't have an identifying scent, but he smells like qingxin and almonds to most people. However, alphas can detect the nearly invisible scent of blood that clings to him like a leech.

BACK TO SCHOOL STUDY LIKE + INSPO W/ GENSHIN [ I ]

The best study partner would most likely be the Sumeru characters, surprise surprise.

The worst would be Kaveh. Poor dude will try his best to help you but end up giving you wrong info, messing with your notes, or stressing himself out instead.

The best would be Cyno. Point blank. He can read your emotions incredibly well, and knows when to pressure or relax you. If you happen to hate his jokes and explanations thereof, he’ll utilize those to keep your head in the game. He mostly quizzes you but if he you happen to catch him on vacation then he’ll be there to write and organize notes for you.

Next to him would be Tighnari. He’s a lot more softer but can cut you with words if you happen to get distracted. You may even touch his tail and ears if you manage to meet or exceed his expectations.

Nahida is on his level. If she especially cares about you, I’m sorry but you ain’t getting her to use telepathy to cheat. Rest assured she’ll make sure you pass at the very least though. She has the cutest, bubbly handwriting and always leaves a doodle or message wishing you good luck.

Faruzan is also in the same tier but with added old lady ramblings. I headcannon her to be a lot like Bachiko Barbatos in the case that she’ll be loud and haughty af, and might even order you around. But you’re guaranteed to be the top of your class one way or another. Especially if you study in the same area as she does.

I’m putting Al-Haitham and Collei lower because the former would most likely help you but with a lot more cheek and sass that if you’re impatient might not work out, and Collei is not as well-versed in her own field as the people above are.

Al-Haitham would leave random posts its around where you frequent as if he doesn’t care about how you do when this man is invested. You do not want to know how he got into your shower and you should never mention it unless you want his help to completely disappear.

Dori would just help you cheat with the right amount of mora. Heck, she’ll plant some people in the exam room or even steal the answer sheet for you.

So like uh I have 3 teams that actually work to dps

Team Ganyu is Kokomi, Ganyu with Yelan's weapon, Diona and Shenhe, who shares a Sands with Klee and Wanderer (Hajime)

Team Nahida is Kokomi, Nahida, Keqing or Klee, and Yelan or Diona who shares her entire artifact set with Yaoyao because Tenac is a pain in the ass. When I use Yelan I take Aqua Simulacra from Ganyu and put it on Yelan. Ganyu has a Skyward Harp anyway

Team Scaramochi is Hajime, Faruzan, Benny and Kokomi. Benny is often exchanged for Diona. I've been debating putting Yelan instead sometimes.

TEAMP COMP: WANDERER, FARUZAN, BENNY, KOKOMI FT. DIONA Note: I-I'll take the last team, please, I just came back to the genshin fandom I don't know most of this information-

♥ Poor Kokomi, why did you place her on this team? She has to deal with both Wanderer and Faruzan arguing with each other, along with Benny's sulking self and bad luck always sabotaging the team. Diona is just sipping on some juice she made back at her home and smiles, thinking about the time you will come and use her again.

♥ Kokomi, despite being a Hydro sub-DPS, still takes the place of a leader due to her experience back at Watatsumi Island. She helps with the team and plans a strategy so their damage can be higher and you'll use their team more often. It is a bit hard due to you having two Anemo vision users on the team, but with Benny and Diona she can make a plan easily. Still, she burns herself out with how much she carries this team. Wanderer is stubborn, claiming that he'll only follow your orders and not hers, he sometimes even goes out of the plan when fighting in domains. Faruzan is okay, she follows the plan and even helps Kokomi, but that doesn't mean she's out of the problem. Faruzan eggs on Wanderer when he mentions how he's the better Anemo user, causing the both of them to fight. Benny and DIona are the only sweethearts in this team, and are the only ones Kokomi appreciates.

♥ Faruzan has been trapped inside a ruin for a century. Who wouldn't become paranoid about being alone again? She wants to cling to you and never let go. She will do her best in the challenges! She will also do as many commissions as possible for you! Just please don't bench her! That being said she clashes a lot with Wanderer, or Hajime as you call him, due to him being possessive of you. She thinks Wanderer shouldn't be on the team if he's not willing to cooperate with Kokomi, by extension not willing to help you progress more in the game. She stands by her own beliefs and does not back down when an argument arises between the two of them. She's not going to use her weapon, she's more professional than that. But if it's needed to get a point across Wanderer's head, maybe it isn't a far possibility.

♥ Wanderer is possessive, the reason why is explained in his past. He's trying to be a better person after being given a chance by Kusanali, but he still falls back down every time he sees you close to one of the characters. He tries to get your attention through voice lines that were not in the game, to doing idle animations you've never seen before. Can you take the hint of what he's trying to tell you? (you just wanted to play genshin-) Why do you need another Anemo user when you already have him? With that in mind, he doesn't like Faruzan. He thinks she's being overbearing and selfish with your attention, and you already know what happens when a clingy yandere and a possessive yandere have the same love interest. They fight. A lot. Kokomi had to hold him back so many times before the fight turns physical. Just, be careful about who you pay more attention too. Better yet, split their time equally.

♥ Benny is sad that he gets switched often with Diona, but understands. You need someone who doesn't have a curse holding them back from doing their best. He's alright with seeing his new adventure team running around without him. He's definitely not on the verge of tears! When he's not in your team, he sits on the bottom of your statue off-screen. It brings him a little comfort being near you in some way, and your statue is the second closes thing aside from being in your control. His dads comfort him, saying that you're just giving him a day off after he works so hard for your team. It doesn't do much, he wants to always be on your team! He doesn't need a day off. He is a little jealous of DIona, but he's not going to fight her. He thinks it'll only upset you further so he holds back any anger that threatens to spill over.

♥ Diona is smug. Haha! She knew her talents would soon be acknowledged by you. She works to make her shields better than they already are, even practicing how to use her bow better so that she always hits her target. She doesn't mind her team, at least, not as much. She scampers away to hide behind Kokomi whenever Faruzan and Hajime start fighting so as to not get involved or affected by the fight. But she's willing to deal with this team if it means being a step closer to you!

♥ I feel like this team wouldn't work out properly. But with Kokomi, it will somehow still work out. Benny's elemental burst is useful for the team and Diona's shield provides a lot of support for the other three team members. Faruzan and Wanderer strive to hit higher numbers just for you, killing off the mobs easily and ending the challenge quickly. It's a big contrast to when they are offline...

Xiangling

she tastes like slime in a weird way, either its some cookies she made or something else, you don´t know, but you know its sweet coming from her mouth. when will she stop cooking with slime, never.

Amber

she tastes like a badly made moon pie, she just tried to make one but it didn´t turn out great, you say its fine but she doesn´t belive you. i guess she just needs more practice.

Yun Jin

she tastes like a certain stew, you don´t know exactly what kind, but its definitely not something she can eat normally. as long as she's having a good time, its fine, even if you both get scolded later.

Mona

she tastes like a salad, its refreshing and sweet, you don´t know where the sweetness came in but you think its from her lips against yours. she works no-stop, but she´s glad to have you here.

Eula

she tastes like pie, a really sweet one you think, or maybe its her taste not the pie? well you love it either way. she looks strong on fierce on the outside but on the inside, she´s so sweet.

Faruzan

she tastes like she just ate a dish your grandma made, it makes sense since she´s from a long time ago, but still. she´ll have to teach you how to make that dish soon, it was delicious.

𝑆𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦 : How do I imagine them with a significant other being a tattoo artist.

𝐴/𝑁 : It had been sitting in my drafts for months now, so here you go. Btw, if some characters have more or less hcs, it's cause it depends on my motivation.

↦ He honestly likes it a little bit too much.

↦ Kazuha adore the idea of having eternal marks on your body. Especially that they all have a story behind them, just like scars. Yes, whether it's a sad or funny one.

↦ Kazuha would definitely have your tattoo him. After all, he's got stories as well.

↦ He's always around when you're drawing and often offers his help. He's very good at that as a matter of fact.

↦ While he's at it, he might just become your little helper. Always running errands for you and buying ink from another country.

↦ He keeps a little journal with him for when he's traveling with Beidou's crew. He describes all the sceneries, animals, and many other things he comes across.

↦ Coming back to the subject of money. You'll absolutely never have to worry about not being able to buy equipment. At least, not as long as he doesn't go bankrupt because of all the things he buys for you.

↦ You know how I said he loved you very much; if you were to ask for him having a really cringe tattoo for you, he would. Of course, not without some judgment from him and Thoma ending up stopping him.

↦ If she were to get one, it would be something that describes her meaning of freedom. Given that she finds a lot of importance in such things, it would be appropriate to her.

↦ She's very critical to your clients. By that, I mean, she's would get terribly mad if one were to shame your work.

↦ Keqing would definitely do anything for your shop because she knows how much important it is for you. You've used all your life saving just to build it, so if you ever have a crisis, she'll handle it at your side.

↦ Honestly, I feel like she would like to help you find designs when you fall short on imagination.

↦ After all, she never really paid attention to anything like that before you came into her life.

↦ But she loves you with her whole heart and will always find a way to shut them up. And anyway, it's not like the words of some random creatures are significant.

↦ She, on the contrary of Ayato, would very much appreciate it if you would help her with funding. In any case, she helps you with everything needed in exchange.

↦ Also, Faruzan might or might not get into verbal fights with your clients if they have the guts to disrespect you. Which usually makes them run away and never come back.

A Play of Vigorous Wisdom (PART ONE)

Here it is, everyone! The awaited reader insert of 3.6's event.

Before we get into it, I want to say- HOLY SHIT I didn't expect that it would blow up immediately on the first day- I was so surprised at the amount of notifications I had LOL

Now, regarding the post, I did say I would allow a platonic relationship or a love interest, but not that many people said which they preferred. But only a few said they mostly wanted a pairing and were able to give out what they wanted as a love interest.

And from the few, the majority vote was Scaramouche/Wanderer. So this is a Wanderer x Reader pairing.

For those who wanted a different love interest - I am so sorry if Wanderer wasn't the love interest you were hoping for. but, don't go, I have a surprise for those people who wanted a different love interest. Check it out at the end of the post!

You were walking towards the Sanctuary of Surasthana with millions of thoughts running through your head. Most of them (Actually all of them) are about your lover, formerly Scaramouche and now known as Wanderer. You figured that you were called by Nahida regarding him.

Which reminded you that you haven't seen Wanderer for quite some time.

On your way, you noticed some Akademiya students setting up booths nearby. You see one of the stalls included a cute star toy that reminded you a lot of the theme of the Akademiya Darshan - Rtawahist. You figured these stands have something to do with the upcoming Akademiya Extravaganza.

Recently, you enrolled yourself in Akademiya's Darshan - Vahumana. Since you're still trying to explore many areas of Sumeru, you figured that this Darshan could help expand your knowledge of Sumeru's history and learn about other nations.

You've heard of this festival from many of your peers in Vahumana. They said it was a fun influence event held by the Akademiya. The two main parts of the event were the Wisdom Gala and the Interdarshan Championship.

You figured you could watch the Interdarshan Championship while playing the fun booths of the Wisdom Gala.

Snapping out of your thoughts, you opened the entrance of the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Seeing the whole open area still gives you the chills. You looked ahead to see the God of Wisdom along with your said lover you haven't seen for a while.

"Ah, there you are!" Nahida beamed, noticing you. The indigo-haired male beside her turned in your direction too.

"Hello, Nahida. I hope I wasn't late," You said, walking up.

"Not at all! He had just arrived too." Gesturing towards Wanderer, who was already glancing at you.

You smiled at him as a 'hi' while he looked down, closed his eyes, and acknowledged your greeting.

She placed her hands on her arms, changing her expression. "Now that the two of you are here, I came here to discuss something with you two."

"Are you both aware of the festival coming soon?" She had asked.

You nodded. "The Akademiya Extravaganza? Yes, I have. While walking, I saw some students already setting it up."

"So, what about it?" Wanderer asked, speaking up for the first time. "Do you want us to participate in it?"

"Actually, yes," Nahida answered. "But, there is something I both would like you to do."

...

The three of you were discussing the topic Nahida asked you to come for. It took a while, but you and Wanderer agreed to the job given to you.

...

"That is all. Any questions?" The tiny god asked both of you.

You thought of it for a moment before nodding. "Alright, I understand. But, Kusanali, are you sure both of us can be representatives? Won't everyone think it will be unfair?"

"Don't worry, I don't want to be stuck with you either," Wanderer remarked as you shot him an annoyed look.

"Don't worry, I have already talked about this with the Sages and the Planning Committee, and they decided they will make an exception this year just for you two," answered Nahida.

"Hmm, alright." You nodded.

She then smiled. "Okay, you two can go now. I hope to see your progress in the festival soon."

The two of you walked out of the Sanctuary of Surasthana and strolled into the streets of Sumeru City.

"I didn't know you registered yourself in Vahumana. Is that why I haven't seen you in a while?" You asked as you two walked.

"Probably. And I didn't sign up in my own free will. It was Lesser Lord Kusanali that registered me in Vahumana." Wanderer said.

"You do know I am a member of Vahumana, right?"

"Of course, I know. You told me about your past works before."

"Then, how come I never heard of you? Usually, my friends would chat about new members added to the Darshan. Surely, I would've heard about you at least once."

He muttered. "It's probably because of the name I go by in the Darshan."

///FLASHBACK///

It was another tiring day at the Akademiya. You and your friends were seated at a table in the House of Daena, chatting and complaining about your classes and research.

"Hey, I saw a new guy coming into our class earlier. I think he is who I think he is." One of your friends shared.

You rolled your eyes playfully at them as you listened in while reading your book.

"Oh, yes. I've heard. So, you got Hat Guy in your class?" Your other friend asked. But what they said made you look at both with a confused expression.

"Huh? Who's Hat Guy?" You repeated making the two look at you.

"I don't know much, but I've heard from the other students that someone by the name 'Hat Guy' had made interesting inquires against a researcher regarding incidents of Inazuma." One of your friends answered.

Your other friend nodded. "Yeah. I've heard from my teacher that he has written such impressive essays. The professor gave me a glance at Hat Guy's work, and it was truly outstanding!"

"Hmm, he seems interesting." You trailed off. "But, really? What kind of name is Hat Guy?"

"Right? I was weirded out when I heard of his name." One of your friends agreed.

Your friend chimed in, "Oh, come on. It obviously can't be his real name. It's probably just an alias or something."

"But, why 'Hat Guy?' You wondered.

'Well, when I saw him earlier in my class, he did have a noticeable unique hat on him. Maybe it's that." Your friend shrugged.

...

"Wait, your... 'Hat Guy'?" You confirmed as you watched him nod.

...

You were silent, processing the ridiculous yet amusing information you received about him.

He looked at you, seeing your blank face.

...

He then heard you let out a giggle. He sighed as he had expected this reaction.

Your little giggles turned into full-on laughter. (Luckily, the streets you guys were in are very crowded, so nobody focused their attention on you.)

He rolled his eyes as you continued laughing out loud.

"I-I CAN'T-! HAT GUY!" You wheeze out in the middle of your waves of laughter.

"Y-Y'know, if you told me *snickered*-you were signing up for Vahumana- I would've helped you pick a better name, and you chose Hat Guy." You trailed off, resuming laughing.

He groaned. "Oh, shut up, will you? It's not like I wanted to be named this way. It was Lesser Lord Kusanali's fault."

You laughed harder at that :D

...

Both of you were now in an empty alleyway to avoid attention. You two sat on crates as you sipped vigorously on a water bottle.

Your throat ached from laughing a lot, so Wanderer bought water for you.

"Are you better now?" He muttered as you wiped your mouth.

"Yeah, I think..." You giggled, still on about his name. "Sorry, it's just- It's so funny-"

Wanderer grunted. "You're not letting go of that name, are you?"

"Nope." You smiled.

"Alright then," He shrugged. "Then, let me help you get your mind off it for a while."

You raised your eyebrows, but before you knew it, you let out a surprised noise as his lips were now on yours.

It was a quick peck before he leaned away and kissed you again.

You cup his cheeks, pulling him away while laughing with a blush on your face. "Heh, what's this for?"

"Well, mainly to get your mind off a while. But, consider it a gift to you for not seeing you for a while." His words made your smile widen.

You wrapped your arms around him, burying your face in his shoulder. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." You feel him hugging back.

You two stayed like that for a moment before he softly grabbed your head and connected your lips again.

A few days have passed, and the Akademiya Extravaganza is now taking place. Many students from the darshans are looking around the booths and around Sumeru City.

You and Wanderer were holding hands, finding your way to the main venue of the Interdarshan Championship.

Finally, spotting it outside, you see many people already gathered around and saw behind the stage, which you assume are the other representatives.

Wanderer led you to where they stood but kept his close distance from them while wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

You didn't mind, as you don't know some of them. You could see in the corner of your eyes some of the representatives raising their eyebrows at the both of you.

You scanned through them and noticed a familiar forest watcher. You slightly waved at him, and he looked slightly surprised but waved back.

Just then, you hear a voice from the stage, which you assumed was the organizer, starting the event.

...

The Traveler and Paimon had just arrived at the venue, as they were here as guest commentators for the championship.

"Welcome, one and all, to the Akademiya Extravaganza!" The organizer, Kareena, welcomed.

"Now then, allow me to reveal the prizes for this iteration of the Interdarshan Championship--" She stated. "Fabulous monetary rewards, research funds, a limited-edition Genius Invokation TCG card… and the right to wear the Diadem of Knowledge. I believe that I need not elaborate as to how this is a symbol of great honor!"

The people muttered as they admired the Diadem of Knowledge.

"I believe that most of you have already seen the Diadem of Knowledge, or have heard tales about it."

"Twenty years ago, a researcher named Sachin bought it for a large sum of Mora before donating it to the Akademiya. The generous Championship prizes are also sourced from his sponsorship. Before we begin, allow me to express our gratitude to this researcher, who cannot be with us right now..."

The traveler spaced out for a moment, thinking something was wrong. But decide to listen to Kareena first.

"Alright, I'm sure we're all more than ready for the Championship to begin!" Kareena cheered.

"Now then, let's invite our six Darshan representatives to the stage! Our contestants are--"

"Representing Amurta, Tighnari!" Tighnari side-eyed the audience.

"Representing Spantamad, Cyno!" Cyno crossed his arms.

"Representing Rtawahist, Layla!" Layla shyly looked down.

"Representing Haravatat, Faruzan!" Faruzan slyly smiled.

"Representing Kshahrewar, Kaveh!" Kaveh showed a confident expression.

"And for Vahumana... Huh?" She looked behind. "Is Vahumana's representative not here yet?"

It was silent for a moment as Paimon whispered. "I wonder who's Vahumana's representative? It could be someone we know."

"Ooh, could it be (Name)?" Paimon silently hoped. "They are a member of Vahumana, right?" The traveler nodded.

Everyone was looking around for a sign of entrance until two new presences entered the stage.

"These introductions are pointless. Let's just get this over with."

Everyone turned to the pair that went upstage. You were standing next to Wanderer with neutral expressions.

"Eh? W-Wait a sec, why is he there with (Name)?" Paimon muttered in confusion as the traveler felt the same.

"Finally! Our final contestants are Vahumana's representatives: Hat Guy and (Name)!" He crossed his arms while you stood with one arm on your hips.

"Huh? Why are there two representatives for one Darshan?" One of the students muttered.

Another one answered them (Which the Traveler and Paimon's heard.) "Haven't you heard? The planning committee did announce that one of the Darshans would have two representatives."

"But isn't that like... I don't know, kind of unfair to the other representatives?"

"Well, I guess. But I heard that the committee decided hard on this and made an exception this year. The other representatives were aware of it too. But then again, they didn't say you aren't allowed to have a partner in this championship..."

"Hmm, that's true."

Paimon shrugs as she looks at the Traveler. Both traveling companions hear more about 'Hat Guy' and (Name)'s work in Vahumana. And they hear other people talk about the pair as representatives.

"It's so weird... Sure, I could get (Name), but him? He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would participate in competitions like this one."

"I'm quite puzzled, too..." The traveler muttered.

"Now that we have our contestants, the Championship will soon begin!" Kareena announced. "Who will triumph this time around? Hold on to your hats, because we're all in this ride together!"

"Huh, we really do know a lot of the contestants," Paimon said. "Ooh, right, we're guest commentators, aren't we? So figuring out everyone's reasons for participating is in our job description."

"Let's go ask them when we go say hi. Especially him… Paimon still thinks it's weird that he's here." Obviously referring to 'Hat Guy'

...

The guest commentators have talked with the representatives, catching up on them and asking about their reasons for participating. After chatting with Kaveh, Faruzan, and Layla, they only have two more people to go which are the Vahumana representatives.

You and Wanderer were chatting and observing the area around you until you noticed the two coming to you.

"Hi traveler, hi Paimon." You waved.

"Hi (Name)!" Paimon waved back until she turned to your lover. "Um, so... what... what, uh..."

"Just call me Hat Guy. That's the name I use in Vahumana." He said. You silently giggled.

"That sounds like a nickname, not a real name!" Paimon said.

"So I can't go by a simple, ordinary name?"

"Fine, suit yourself. Alright then, Hat Guy and (Name), why are you both taking part in the Interdarshan Championship? We're specially invited guest commentators, so play nice and answer our questions."

Wanderer smirks. "You could be matra for all I care. So what if we don't answer you? What then?"

"You...!" Paimon whined. "(Name)! Tell your boyfriend to behave properly and answer our question!"

You sweatdropped. "Well, I can't do anything about that. But I'll say this; we can't reveal our reasons for participating."

"You two aren't plotting something in secret, are you?" She questioned.

"Well, it's hard to say. Why don't you take a guess?" He teased back. You shook your head at him.

"Oh, Paimon's had it with you!" She exclaimed at him. "Fine, be that way! Then we won't ask why you're participating. Instead... Uh, why did you join Vahumana?"

Wanderer turned to them. "You two sure like to poke your noses where they don't belong. If I don't say anything, are you going to annoy me to death?"

He then signed and told his reason anyway, talking about how he refuted a researcher named Aqaba and made commentary on societal issues in Inazuma.

"But when Lesser Lord Kusanali heard about this, she went out of her way to get me registered in Vahumana... She used the name, Hat Guy."

"So it was Nahida's doing..." The traveler muttered.

You chimed in, laughing. "Honestly, I didn't even know he was in Vahumana until a few days ago. And he really had to surprise me with his name."

"Enough chit-chat. You're better off wasting your time with the other contestants." The indigo-haired male said, then smirked. "Someone's about to get very unlucky - wanna guess who?"

Both Traveler and Paimon had annoyed expressions. "How is anyone supposed to relax with you around!?"

Paimon muttered something to her partner, something about keeping a close eye, which amused you.

...

"I will now announce the rules of the first round of the competition. Please listen carefully!" Alhaitham announced, gaining everyone's attention.

"During the opening ceremony, Akademiya staff released several cages of butterflies, and many of them are now fluttering within Sumeru City. Amongst these butterflies, three of them will be special Swiftflies. They have a different appearance and also fly a little faster."

"Your objective is to find a Swiftfly and bring it to me. Three points will be awarded to the first participant to return, two to the second, and one point to the third. That is all for the first round. Should you require clarification on anything, please ask any of the other staff."

Every representative starts muttering to themselves, as you notice Spantamad's representative leaving already. You figured everyone was planning already.

"Well, we're definitely not doing this first round." You say as you walked up to Wanderer.

"Why? You want to go with them?" He asked.

"What? No!" You immediately shook your head. "I don't want to go around Sumeru to look for butterflies. Besides, I'm already terrible at catching crystal flies."

He deadpanned. "They are different. A butterfly isn't an elemental-life form like a crystal fly, idiot."

"I know that!" You huffed. "But, anyway, now what should we do?"

"Hmm..." He thought for a moment before making eye contact with the traveler. "...Hmph."

You looked behind him. "Huh? What is it?"

"It's nothing," Wanderer reassured. "But, I think I'll stay for a while to obverse the others. I'll meet you later."

"Oh, okay," You shrugged. "Well, I'm quite hungry, so I think I'll go to Puspa Cafe. I'll see you there?"

"Sure."

You smiled and kissed his cheek, making the corner of his lips turn upward. "Bye!"

...

The couple was sitting outside of Puspa Cafe, both enjoying their little date.

He stopped talking once he noticed someone coming. "What brings you two here?"

You turned to see the Traveler and Paimon again.

"Huh? Are you both here having coffee? Aren't you both supposed to be a participant?" Paimon asked.

"Well, heh, I got quite hungry." You sheepishly admitted.

"Is there really any need for us to take part while everyone's running around like it's some sort of carnival? Don't worry, we'll get involved once things actually get serious." Wanderer responded for us.

The two companions looked at each other, shrugging before ultimately leaving the two of you alone.

"Anyways, Hat Guy, I would like to ask you something." You said, teasing him with his new name.

He rolled his eyes. "Is that going to be your new name for me?"

"Would you prefer if I called you an umbrella?"

"...Tsk. What is it?"

You smiled. "Is it alright if we can go to the Wisdom Gala booths? I would like to play those cool games I saw!"

"Huh? I suppose." He replied. "But why? Just to remind you that you are already a Vahumana student."

"I know that, but I just want to see them!" You pouted.

He laughed. "Alright, alright. We'll go walk around and go to the nearest one."

...

You two were holding hands are you walked around Sumeru City. You guys have already been to one booth, which was Kshahrewar's, and you two decide to go to the other ones.

"Wow, I never thought I had such unique building skills." You beamed.

"Honestly, it was such a simple task. It's just a task of using your resources to help you gain the goal." He shrugged.

You chuckled. "Well, yeah, but it felt like I was building my own parkour."

You both hear rushing footsteps in your direction. You looked behind to see Layla with wide eyes.

She was staring at you while you awkwardly said. "Uhh, hello. Can I... help you with something?"

"Uh, (Name)?" Wanderer called out to you. "You have a butterfly on your head."

"Huh? I do?" You noticed the blue wings at the corner of your eyes. But the insect looked different than the normal ones. "Are these... one of the swift flies?"

You see Layla dropping her shoulders until you realize why she stared. "Hey, are you looking for this on my head? Go take it if you want."

She looked up very surprised as the Traveler and Paimon entered the scene.

...

Layla carefully took the Swiftfly off your head, still slightly confused as you reassured her with a smile.

"(Name)? You gave Layla the swift fly?" Paimon wondered.

You turned to them. "Huh? Yeah, why? Is that... not allowed?"

"Uh,- (Name) was it?" You turned as Layla called your name. "A-Are you sure you want to give me the swift fly? I mean, it went to you... after all."

"Oh well, I didn't participate in the first round, and I have no intention of stealing it from you. Besides, didn't you say you caught sight of it first? I think it's fair if you take it." You tell her.

"I..." Layla was at a loss for her words. "...Thank you."

"Wow, that's so nice of you, (Name)!" Paimon beamed.

"Really," You blushed. "It's no problem at all."

"Well, since you've caught the last swift fly, I assume the first round is over, then," Wanderer said.

"Oh, right!" Paimon turned to her companion. "Let's bring the swiftly back together with Layla!"

The trio waved you goodbye as you both continued on your way.
