“(Y/n), you dropped this.” It was a windy day, also known as not a good day to be out delivering letters and holding a crate full of groceries and ingredients. As if that wasn’t already an inconvenience, the voice happened to come from the wandering samurai Kazuha.
You remember first meeting Kazuha. You made a delivery to the Crux, and they pulled you aside from your duties and take a break by watching another of her championship-festival things. After watching for a few minutes, you noticed there was a bright scarlet colour in the corner of your eye, almost like it was wanting you to notice it. Then you saw him. His head turning ever so slowly towards your direction as he sat atop a large rock nearby. You stared helplessly as his eyes found yours, and then he smiled- oh you were definitely in trouble.
A while later, during a mini break the boy with Inazuman looking clothes approached you and introduced himself, and you did the same. You both mostly asked about Inazuma since you’ve never been there. He politely asked what you did, and when you told him it wasn’t much compared to him, he chuckled and dismissed it saying he was just a “mere wanderer”. “Mere wanderer” your butt.
The worst part was, though you made light jokes about your ordinary life, he seemed so genuine in reassuring you that he found you quite interesting. It’s just a compliment, you had to mentally tell yourself... but the gentle tone of voice he used- it made you feel much different. “No worries. Where are you off to?” he asks.
“Deliveries again. Right now I’m heading to Bubu Pharmacy to pick of some medicine for someone at Qingce Village.”
“I see.” he says as he hands you back the piece of paper that fell out.
“Sorry I probably look a little silly with how the weather is right now.” you say sweat-dropping as you try using your knee to kick the crate to hold it better.
“No worries, that happens to me when I’m on Beidou’s ship.” he smiles reassuring you. There was a small silence until he gestured to you. “May I?”
You thought he was going to fix the papers in your satchel for you, but instead his hand went towards your scarf and wrapped it around your neck better. Then he reached to your head and smoothed the bunches of hair that flew the wrong way in the wind. Before you could utter out any words as a result of his unintentional flustering, he makes you short circuit even more.
“If you’re not busy after that, I was wondering if you’d like to accompany me and have a meal together later today? I can also bring my zither, I think I can play that song finally.” he asks. Sometimes you wonder how he can ask these things without a hint of nerves in his expression. You however- yeah...
“Oh! Yeah! Of course!” you say a little too excitedly. You’re more in awe that he asked you that in the first place.
“Great, I’ll see you then.” he says giving a wave and walking off into the distance. With your heart beating super fast, you suddenly felt like you could make all the deliveries within a minute.

“Hmm. This friend you keep speaking of... you seem to be seeing them a lot.” inquired Beidou. From her perspective, it seemed that every week Kazuha was doing a little show-and-tell for this friend. “They’re a very kind-hearted person. I enjoy their presence, it makes me feel warm, like when I start adventuring to a new place.” Kazuha says almost absentmindedly while still plucking the strings. Beidou immediately smirks when he says this, and it feels as Kazuha could see it from the corner of his eye, as he finally looked up from the instrument.
“So you like them.” she says with emphasis on the “like” in order for him to know exactly what she’s referring to. Kazuha was about to stutter out an answer, but quickly stopped himself and sighed. Nothing gets past Captain Beidou. He’s embarrassed to admit the romantic feelings for the first time in front of someone. Beidou is also older than him, so he does feel a little shy.
“I- yes...” he manages to get out. He says this quietly while closing his eyes, not wanting to look at Beidou in the eye straight away.
“Well Romeo, armed with your zither, some poetic words and a nice sunset view from a cliff near the harbour, nows your chance!” Beidou says teasingly, though she does mean it seriously. Kazuha chuckles awkwardly, groaning at Beidou’s words.
“I’m not sure if they like me in that way.” he says in a neutral tone, but he felt nervous on the inside. Even Beidou is surprised at this, and her eyes become wide for a second. Kazuha’s personality was always the opposite: calm, collected. She realizes that it’s serious- not that it never was, but she could see in Kazuha’s eyes he was showing his vulnerability, which made her confirm that he truly admires this person.
Unfortunately, Beidou starts having doubts herself. She usually doesn’t deal with romantic things herself. How do you find out if the other person likes you or not? She hopes he can somehow draw inspiration from her words of encouragement instead.
“Hey, Kazuha you’re a great guy you know?” she says softheartedly while approaching him closer. “I’m sure they’ll appreciate your gestures. And look- the important thing is you have a good time right?” Kazuha smiles, his heart calming down from Beidou’s reassurance. “Besides, if you really wanted to tell them you like them but couldn’t- you could just drink one of those cocktails!” Beidou laughs while Kazuha facepalms... and she’s back, he thinks.
Xinyan ended up telling Beidou about their journey to the islands, and how she ran into him in the first place... and the fruity cocktail part which made tears roll down her eyes. Kazuha sighs, and stands up to start taking his leave to meet up with you.
“Thank you Beidou.”

You wait for Kazuha on a beach where you could still see the city. He arrives waving to you with one hand, and carrying his zither in the other.
“Hi Kazuha!” you say ushering him to sit on the blanket you brought to sit upon the sand and grass. He smiles and sits down.
“Hi (y/n).” he greets.
You both continue catching up with each other, describing in great detail of your adventures and interesting stories while sharing a meal. He played the zither as promised. You’ve never heard a song on the zither before, so it was cool hearing something new. And of course, Kazuha never fails to impress you.
“That was beautiful Kazuha.” you say after he finishes the song.
“Thank you. I’m glad you liked it.” he says. There was a brief moment in which you were staring at each other, but then you quickly turned away due to hide your embarrassment. “I’m a little thirsty, but I forgot to bring drinks. Would you like me to get some?” he asks.
“That’d be nice, thank you.” you replied. He nods and gets up to go get drinks for you both. You exhale- finally being able to breathe after having one flustering moment after the other. But you couldn’t deny that you were having a great time with Kazuha. You loved the times when you bumped into him in Liyue, but now you got to sit down and properly talk and enjoy food and music.
“I’m back.” he announces handing you your drink. “Sorry if I took a long time, but I tried being quick so I took something off from Beidou.”
“It’s ok, I’m not picky with drinks.” you say. With that, you both quench your thirst by sipping the fruit drink. It was sweet but not overpowering. You put the bottle beside you then looked out into the distance of the sea.
“(Y-Y/n)...?” Kazuha calls. Except you come to realize that something’s off.
“Kazuha are you oka-” he interrupts your question as his head falls on your shoulder with a thump and you put both your hands on the side of his arms to steady himself. This answered your question well enough.
“(Y/nnn)...” he slurs as his half-lidded eyes look into your own. He’s drunk, you panic. Wait- but the drinks weren’t alcoholic you thought. At least yours wasn’t. It didn’t have that sting that alcohol usually had. But now that you think about it his could have been different... he did say it was from Beidou after all so it could’ve gotten mixed up.
“Um Kazuha...” your thoughts are frantic as you think of what to do. You didn’t really have any water to help, so you thought carrying him to the dock near where The Alcor was. Hopefully Beidou or someone you knew would be nearby. “Let’s get you up.” you say grabbing his arm and wrapping it around your shoulder.

“Y-yeah...” you finally sigh. The dock was finally coming into view.
“...” You feel the weight on your shoulder disappear and you stop walking to turn to look Kazuha in the eye. Kazuha’s expression changes, from a once clumsy and doe-eyed to now smiling awkwardly.
“I’m not tipsy.”

"sir" you start "We need to head to the kitchen, I need a flat surface to examine you" you were polite, but clear.
Leo stands without so much as a grunt even though it's got to hurt

you talk him through every step you need to take, starting with "I'm going to need to cut the shirt off, I'm sorry"
he doesn't care, it's ruined anyway
when you're done, he's surprised "I didn't even feel the stitches"
"I have a gentle touch" you wink and then instantly regret winking at your boss, it shows because you're blushing
he smiles too. 'He's got such a handsome face' you think and then you can't make eye contact
you almost shove the painkillers at him in your efforts to leave
the next time there's an incident, it's your day off, but he asked for you specifically and you can't exactly say no...
after that, it's you every time and the "incidents" are getting more frequent and less severe
you're at the house almost every 2 days
it gets to the point where a band-aid would suffice for the injury
but he's started sending you home with gifts, now
fancy chocolates, a bottle of wine, gift cards to high end shops ect
it's getting obvious why it's always you he calls
until, one night, it all comes to a head
he accidentally sliced his finger cooking and it will need stitches, but there are 2 place settings at the table and he asks you to stay for dinner after you patch him up
a hour in, and a little wine drunk, you blurt out "You know you could've just asked me out, there was no need to maim yourself to get my attention" you instantly regret this
he just chuckles

Oh he's so accident prone
will never admit it, but he really is
you're one of his newest hires and were excited at the chance to get some hands on experience since leaving med school

his first call is because he was shot right in the thigh
it almost hit a major artery
even you were panicked

you weren't exactly dressed for the occasion, you were wearing what was once a baby blue crop top (now red) and and shorts and your mid-drift was showing
Raph seemed to notice this a lot
and when the bleeding had stopped you'd got him stitched up, he put an arm around your waist and told you how great of a job you did
it got you a little flustered
eventually, at some team meeting (you did not know there would be team meetings and neither did the other medics but Raph treated this like it's always happened) he announces you as head medic
this comes with more pay, but more responsibility
you're on call 24/7 basically
you get his personal phone number and a "don't be araif to call if you need anything, the phone works both ways"
this kind of earns you the cold shoulder from Donatello who was usually the one who fixed up Raph
everything was going great as was pretty professional until-
one night the phone rings, it's Raph, and he's clearly drunk
words slurring, talking real slow and basically humming down the line
he asks you to come over and if you "have a nurses outfit"
you ask who's hurt
"It's me, I'm so *fake cough* ill... I could use a little TLC..."
you're a medic, not a call girl so you hang up
the next time you see him he's a weird mix or embarrassed and pissed off
like he knows he shouldn't have done it but he's angry you wouldn't fuck him
it's one of his guys who's been beat up, needs a few eyebrow stitches
Raph is too close, really in your personal space as you're trying to work
when you're done he walks you to the door and, through gritted teeth, says "I'm glad my little.... Indiscretion the other night hasn't made you unprofessional"
"That's a weird way of saying sorry" you reply in the sweetest tone you can muster
he glares
"...I'm....I'm sorry"
you smile until he pulls you in by the wrist
"Don't get cocky now!" he hisses "Remember who pays your bills"
you lean in and whisper "It's funny that you asked, because I do have a nurse outfit. Only men who respect me and my boundaries get to see it" you say that last part more forcefully as you pull away from his grip
after that it's a pretty clear game of cat and mouse between you two

It's been crystal clear since day 1 that he wants you

your heart is racing and you're not sure if it's because this is threatening or because he's shirtless and you haven't taken you eyes off his abs for too long now
He laughs and puts his hands up
"Hey, just joking!" he begins to back away
you turn to leave and right as you grab the door handle he calls
"But, sweetheart, you ever feel like having a crazy night. You know who to call, no strings attached" and winks
after that, and extra 2k is put in your account under the reference "for your discretion"
lingerie is sent to your apartment as well as flowers
the next time you need to go see him, he asks if you're wearing it
you blush and look away, he just grins at you
eventually he throws a huge party that you're invited to, he never leaves your side
you drink a little too much to cope with the circumstance and before you know it you wake up from a black out in the back of his car just as it pulls up to your apartment
he walks you in, you're still unsteady on your feet, and kisses you at the door
"angel, you should be more careful" he does not elaborate before leaving
you hand in your notice which is only mailed back to you with "nice try" written on it
Mikey always gets his way, one way or another

steve clark headcanons because I CAN OKAY
1. he’d be the type of bf to constantly be taking candid photographs of you, even the ones you hate, he’ll be like “no, let’s keep it, i like it”
2. he’d def wanna teach you how to play the guitar but he’d be very patient with you, and understanding, and flexible. and he’d laugh all quietly and cutely when you goof up, like when you strum a chord wrong or you accidentally strum something that sounds just plain horrible
3. his hands would feel *SO* soft!
3. you’d have a giant bookshelf in your living room
4. you’d watch lots of old hollywood/classic b&w movies late at night. i don’t really eat popcorn so he’d eat all the popcorn, and phil would occasionally crash but steve would always let him in ofc
5. he’d definitely have his private battles but he’d never want to burden you with them, so he’d keep them all to himself and wouldn’t reveal too much about them with you. even though you’d reinforce the point time and time again that you’ve always appreciated a guy who’s sensitive and vulnerable, and isn’t afraid to act that way around you, and that it was brave of him for doing so, it’s commendable. as much as you pushed for the truth you knew that you didn’t wanna hear it. and he would know this as well. So here's here's: Kinks Soap Realised Because of Ghost (pt 1?) some are established kinks, some are more specific turn ons ig.
- Competence kink: tha includes his rank, how ghost cleans his weapons, when he shoots andhits his targets (real and in training), watching him win as he spars, participating in a spar with him and losing to him etc and soforth
- Size kink: Soap is not a small man, hence why ghost awakened the kink to him - its not general either I don't think, like it's because it's ghost at the end of the day. I say this because ghost isn't just taller, broader and is also muscular, but he also looks out for soap and makes him feel protected - yes the ability to be tossed around is arousing, but he doesn't have the same feeling for just anyone who's taller and muscular. There's a whole Vibe to it.
- Mask Kink: okay so either Ghost awakens this or he reignites it, but there's something about masked men and it's probably the possible intimidation (next up) that comes with not seeing expressions plainly. Though, I feel this one only translates during heated moments once they actually know each other (even before dating). Ghost doesn't realise that the mask doesn't take away from the moment for Soap at first - like he wins either way cause he either gets to see Simon fall apart which makes his head spin and go fuzzy or he gets to have the mask on which Gets Him Going as well.
- Intimidation: this one sounds dubious but it's not that he is intimidated but he should be. Instead, he's turned tf on, whether Ghost is barking orders to other people or if he can feel a glare on the back of his neck, Soap knows he should feel worried, but he's not. This also plays into the rank stuff
- Rank: okay, this is one he's surprised about because, again, it doesn't happen with anyone else, so is definitely more of a byproduct of their relationship. But you can't tell me hearing Ghost call him Sargent doesn't get him riled up (dep. on context). (The same can be said for Ghost and the term Lieutenant/L.T - again dep on tone/ context)
- BDSM: obvious, but it kind of ties in with the size kink stuff - it's rare he can find someone to actually dominate him (switch GhostSoap for life) so finding Ghost who can, will and wants to in a way that feels so powerful but trusting and loving??? Soap's a bit addicted. Also having Ghost allow him to dominate him feels earth shatteringly different than Soap's previous partners/one night stands that Soap knows nothing will beat it
- Desperation: low-key think this is a big one for both of them in both situations of topping and bottoming because I feel they BOTH wouldn't like to be seen as desperate before having each other (esp not with one night stands). It's the trust that lets them be desperate for each other and they both get off to the other's want no matter if they're more dominant or submissive in that desperation
- Degradation kink: he likes name calling a lot. This one is a bit more generic I feel, BUT even a change in ghost's tone can make soap flustered if he knows the intention/ knows that it's not actual criticism. Plus other acts under this kink would require trust that ties into the desperation category
- Praise kink: again, a bit more general, but Ghost really knows how to press his buttons like that
- Titles: might come under rank but honorifics like 'sir' sad by him and said TO him by Ghost has Soap's stomach in knots

what if Ruikasa enemies to lovers
Rui is like all flirty with tsuaksa bc Tsukasa actually does mean a lot to him but Rui either can’t show it properly and shows it through a strange way and tsuaksa is someone Rui ends up protecting from actually getting hurt since the people Rui works for or associates with want to hurt tsuaksa and tsukasa gets confused and flustered but snarks back at Rui and they both try to one up each other and it’s their way of flirting and they end up super close bc they’re always encountering each other and Rui and tsuaksa end up knowing a bunch of little facts abt each other and if they get hurt they’d patch up the injured one anf they work together so fucking well and in the end they end up running away together because both their organizations get caught and then they have to live together since now they’re the only people they can depend on and they settle into a oddly comforting routine and since they don’t have much money their apartment is small so they have to share their space and they end up getting touchy esp with rui’s casual touches and tsukasa always ending up in Rui’s space and one night when tsuaksa comes back late from work Rui surprises him by draping himself against tsukasa’s back and wrapping his arms around tsukasa’s waist and murmuring “missed you,” his grip on tsuaksa tightening ever so slightly. tsuaksa tenses before he sags against rui, the tension draining from his body. “hey rui…” Tsukasa smiles tiredly, letting Rui turn him around and feeling his back gently hit the counter. rui’s practically pressing him into it, their noses almost touching with how close they are.
“tsu-kun was out late today,” Rui murmurs, his eyes locked on tsukasa’s. there’s something about his gaze, dark and filled with something that steals tsuaksa’s breath from his throat. rui’s hands settle on either side of Tsukasa, grazing his hips. “the manager ran late. I had to cover for her.” tsuaksa responds, covering rui’s hands with his own, intertwining them, seeking the familiar comfort of rui’s touch. rui leans even closer, lidded eyes trailing over tsukasa’s body—checking for injuries. *old habits never die, huh…* tsukasa cant help but smile, tilting his head ever so slightly so it rested against rui’s. “and what’s so funny?” rui’s lips have curved into a smile, his tone as teasing as ever. tsukasa closes his eyes. “nothing I just… missed you too.”

tsukasa can feel rui’s breath fan across his lips.
“hey, tsu-kun…” rui’s voice is soft, calming. if tsukasa lets himself, he could fall asleep right there, in rui's arms, pressed against their countertop.
"yeah?" tsukasa mumbles, half-asleep already.
"could i kiss you?"
tsukasa makes a soft noise of assent, before his eyes snap open.
"rui-?!"
he's definitely blushing, his face burning so hot it has to be bright red.
the ends of rui's lips twitch into a smile, small, soft, genuine and *his--*a smile reserved for tsukasa only.
"is that alright, tsu-kun?"
*yes,* tsukasa immediately thinks, and must have said it aloud too, because rui giggles and it's the prettiest sound tsukasa has ever heard.
rui shifts his weight forward, pressing into tsukasa. "tsu-kun is so cute." he murmurs, his eyes fixed on tsukasa as he leans forward.
tsukasa barely registers the words, too focused on the different ways rui felt against him, on the way rui's lips curved just so when he smiled, on the flecks of gold in rui's eyes.
*where those always there? did rui always look at him like tsukasa was the only person rui ever wanted to see? did tsukasa's heart always race like this around rui?*
(yes. tsukasa knew the answer was yes.)
tsukasa swallows, hard, and has to struggle to not look away.
(he wants to savor this moment, savor the feeling of *rui* against him, of only being able to focus on rui, of his entire world, in that moment, being *rui* and only *rui.* but tsukasa wouldn't be lying to himself if he said rui was the only important thing in his world.)
"tsukasa." rui's voice is low and lilting, a half-smirk on his face. "look at me."
tsukasa realizes with a jolt of embarrasement he *had* looked away--had averted his eyes to focus on their intertwined hands instead.
rui's eyes still hold that burning warmth in them, the soft fondness and the delight that brightened his entire face.
"are-" tsukasa breaks off. "are you going to kiss me or what!?" he stammers, the words coming out a bit too *much,* a little too much breathless, a little too much embarrased.
but rui still laughs, still leans forward, his half-smirk relaxing into an expression so *warm* tsukasa thinks he's going to melt.
"if tsu-kun wants me to..." rui's eyes drop to his lips, slowly trailing up to meet his eyes again. "i'll gladly oblige."
and rui's eyes flutter closed, leaning forward, and tsukasa will forever deny the choked little nose he makes, his fingers tightening around rui's.
rui smiles and tsukasa can feel it against his lips, can taste rui against him, can savor rui's warmth as he pulls tsukasa a bit closer.
kissing rui is both the most terrifying and the most exciting thing tsukasa has ever done--every single movement made tsukasa's head spin, made his heart race faster than any chase, made him feel jittery and warm and tsukasa thinks he's going to burst with the affection that floods him.
"relax, tsu-kun," rui murmurs against him. "you're so tense."
*relax,* tsukasa thinks, as rui presses another kiss against his lips. *how could he relax when the most breathtaking man he had ever known is pressing him against a counter and kissing him senseless!?*
rui pulls back, blinks once and can't help the laugh that leaves him--bright and happy. "is that so?" rui's smiling so softly tsukasa swears he almost has a heart attack right then and there. "well, tsu-kun should know i have the pleasure of pressing the most beautiful man *i've* ever known against a counter and kissing him senseless."
tsukasa's breath hitches as he stares at rui in disbelief. "me-?" he asks incredulously, almost goes to point at himself but that would require him to detangle his and rui's fingers and tsukasa wanted anything but that. "mn. tsukasa-kun is the best thing that ever happened to me." rui murmurs, before his lips are on tsukasa's again, peppering soft kisses to his face, his nose, the corner of his lips.
"sometimes i look at tsu-kun and think how lucky i am to know him," rui says the words as if he's sharing a secret and tsukasa feels his face burn even more.
"i- you're the best thing that ever happened to me, too!" tsukasa blurts. "you're--you- every night i think about kissing you! and- and i want to be with you!" the words leave his mouth before tsukasa registers them and rui's eyes widen for a split second before his hands are cupping tsukasa's face and rui pulls him into another kiss. it's gentle, achingly so, and tsukasa swears he wouldn't have been able to stand if rui wasnt pressed against him, supporting him.
"tsu-kun." rui says breathlessly, a sort of desperation in his voice. "i love you. *i love you."* he whispers, resting his forehead against tsukasa's again.
"i- i love you too!" tsukasa stammers, flustered and unsteady and rui just wants to keep tsukasa by his side forever. "i've loved you for so long! i-" tsukasa breaks off abruptly, chosing to cling to rui's shirt instead.
"tsu-kun," rui's voice is heavy with emotion, thick with affection and tsukasa looks up to meet his eyes.
"i love you," tsukasa repeats again, firm and determined.
it's a statement.
(it's a promise.)
"i love you," rui responds, his face hurting from smiling.
(it's an answer.)

favorite thing about him: he's a dreamer, which makes him smart not only in the traditional sense and his strategic abilities, but also in the sense that he's driven by hope and curiosity. he's inquisitive but cautious, he's thirsty for knowledge and driven by it even when he's shaking with fear and that's something i understand, love and admire in any character/person.
least favorite thing about him: he was a bit too whiney in early episodes, which is why it took me a while to like him.

unpopular opinion: i don't think him and annie fit well together at all. i agree that they had feelings for each other bc it's canon so i can't really argue with it, but i don't see them making it in a healthy relationship in post canon. feel free to send me armin x annie fics to change my mind?
