How the symbol of a Winged Being Shrouded in Light who helps guide and save is this wild witch who’s imbued in this pagan magic, who’s fully embraced and accepted her disabilities and the very things Belos deemed wrong through the eyes of his ideology

How The Archive is this halo atop the head of the god figure, how it begins to fall and crumple the moment Belos takes over to reach his idea of godhood

The Titan’s body, controlled by Belos, reaching towards the heavens in the same image of Adam in The Creation, trying to touch God, the idea of touching what gave life to everything as symbolized by his connection with Adam, everything being obliterated where it stands while this is happening, and then how only in being bereft of Belos’s soul did life finally return to what is posed as Adam, without the need of the God imagined by Belos

Mmmmmmmm Dnn au where Sapnap and George are both selkies and they haven't told Dream but he knows, and he doesn't blame them for not telling him, he gets it, and they always keep their furs hidden until one day someone breaks into their home and steals their furs, and while the two of them are freaking out because this is literally the worst case scenario ever and what are they going to even tell Dream, Dream goes after the guys and just kills them

Except Dream fucked up and now he's freaking out because he got fucking blood on their coats! He can't give the coats back with blood in them, that would be so rude and gross and what if the blood sticks to it after it dries????

So Sapnap and George suddenly feel a new pair of hands touch their coats, different from the ones that had grabbed and thrown it around and hidden. No, these hands tremble slightly as they touch their furs and they feel so familiar and then there's the feeling of water which... is very weird? What the fuck is happening to their coats??

But yeah, Dream washes the blood off and them puts the coats in the drier on a low setting with a bunch of towels (which is a very very weird feeling to Sapnap and George) and he leaves the coats on their beds without them seeing and now they kinda smell like the laundry cleaner Dream uses and it drives George and Sapnap insane (/pos)

#dont come for me its way too early for me to be awake #just agsjavjsjemdkdk silly #at some point while Dream had the coats George and Sapnap stop freaking out about the coats being stolen #they just sit in the living room squinting at space trying to figure out what the fuck is even going on #while Dream frantically googles how to clean fun and tries not to cry because he cant make this very bad traumatic experience to his friend #worse by giving them their furs back with BLOOD in them #the dog barks #dream smp #dreamwastaken #sapnap #georgenotfound #dreamnotnap #dnn #dsmpshipping #dsmp au #dsmp shipping #the whole 'our furs now smell like you' thing rewires George's and Sapnap's mind #because eventually they figure that it had to be Dream who got them their furs back #which is... scary because that means that he knew all this time #but it also means he knew and never tried to use it against them #so they kinda just snap and start doing some dumb shit #such as wearing the furs that used to never leave their hiding spots around thr house #or trying to bait Dream into petting said furs so they can compare his touch to the shaking one and make sure its him #... and then baiting him into petting the fur again and again because his touch feels so nice on it #and then covering him with them when he falls asleep in the couch #they just #they need him to be their mate NOW

Hey have you ever thought about how the existence of the grimwalkers that Belos made (and how there were so many of them) most likely contributed to the Collector not really knowing/understanding how death works

Every time Belos would "break" a grimwalker, he'd just "fix" them (by that, I mean he'd just make a new one)

And yeah, WE know that the grimwalkers weren't all the same (despite all being clones of the same dude), but the Collector probably didn't know that.

And if Belos referred to all/some (or at least, more than just Hunter) of the grimwalkers as being his nephew(s?), then it's not too much of a stretch to assume that the Collector may have thought they *were* all the same

#Like... we've talked about the Collector's reaction to Lilith calling King her nephew #& how that was definitely connected to them witnessing how Belos treated Hunter (& possibly more grimwalkers) while calling him his nephew #But have we really thought of how all of those grimwalkers Belos made may have really impacted his perception of death?#(Also I'm sorry if I made any mistakes and/or if this doesn't make a ton of sense. Sally isn't really evil per se... she's just sleepwalking! while having mild to intense nightmares! most of the time she just sleeps in her house, but once per day she takes a walk - a "patrol" - around the neighborhood before going back to sleep. every so often she wakes up Extra agitated, and needs to be soothed to sleep or she'll get destructive. in general, though, Nightlight!Sally just patrols and attacks anything that makes noise until it goes Quiet again

and Barnaby! well! he's having the most wonderful dreams <3

so unfortunately I have not ever had a dream about this blog, or about Tumblr in general (that I can remember at least)

but! I sincerely wish I had…. so i’m creating one :)

(tbh this dream legitimately could’ve happened and i’m just so bad at remembering them it moved from my subconscious to my conscious and that’s how i’m making it now…?idk)

anyways, enjoy :)

i’m on my phone scrolling, checking notifications, etc. when I notice an ask, that’s simply a youtube link. I obviously open the link, excitedly expecting a rickroll of some sort and I am correct!

the “never gonna give you up” music video starts playing! but as I go to start to exit the app, something changes…

the music starts to fade away while rick’s voice slowly begins to get louder…more life like.

I try to close the app but it’s frozen, and the screen starts to fade to black…. expect for rick’s face.

when the song finally ends, my entire phone crashes. as i’m anxiously trying to turn it back on, the song starts again…except for the voice sounds like it’s directly behind me.

I turn around….. and a tiny phone sized rick astley is on the ground, dancing his heart out.

turns out- I had now acquired a genie/loyal companion for life in rick astley form, that i’m now stuck with…because he’s never gonna give me up :)

Had a weird Hollow Knight-related dream a couple days ago, so I decided to draw a major scene I remembered from it dgsgshf

#hollow knight #little ghost #hk ghost #the knight #hk hornet #hornet #alright. as of writing these tags it's been a week since the original dream so! let's see what i remember dgsgsgf #i was playing a game. which was a sequel to hollow knight ((Not silksong though))#there was some new sort of divine infection in hallownest and hornet had asked ghost to investigate it. they ended the last one after all!#the red glowy spike gate thingy is what you jumped into to enter the 'infected' areas #though it actually led directly to a hub world type of place. which was kinda like an expanded base for the grimm troupe?#more like an entire lair instead of a camp. also some greek gods were there for some reason lmao. they had their own special rooms too #so sidenote but- new headcanon that there are grimm troupe members named ares athena artemis &... venus lmao. not aphrodite for some reason #also monomon was there?? i think??? except she was cooking????? she had a sidequest to deliver something to someone though i dunno hdgfhdgh #i remember going back to the grimm troupe lair a couple times throughout my 'playthrough'#anyway. the 'infection' this time around was more of a glitchy physical corruption thing? rather than a mind corruption.#though there were still aggressive enemies to fight. but i remember getting a map from cornifer early on and he was. probably infected #i think part of his body was covered in electricity or something? so he wasn't fully visible? but he was still acting normally #there was also a moth who was the seer but then later wasn't the seer (but was still the same moth) dghgdhf. i delivered stuff to her #that glowing white wall thing in the drawing was like a one-way gate. you could only cross it from the other side and ghost came from there #i guess things looped back up somehow i dunno ghdgfhgf #anyway. ghost's red eyes. those are significant! those happened while i was walking through a corridor. it had pools of shallow water #(shallow enough to just walk through) and also creatures that were lightseeds but red.the implication was that they were full of Blood lmao #and as i went along killing them--as one does--as i walked through the hall. they started turning the water red too #there was also narration about this as it was happening ashdgsf. specifically the narrator said the water turned red before it actually did #ghost's eyes slowly turned red too. but aside from that they were fine! since. they're the player character and the player is perfectly fin #BUT. when they encountered hornet again. she thought they were infected. and that she lost the only family she had left </3 #she didn't attack though. instead she just jumped into the red spike gate without a word. decided to try to fix everything herself #but eventually you'd encounter her again down below and she'd fight you. didn't actually get to that in the dream though #aand i'm out of tags </3 i wanted to talk about what i'd do to make this make more sense as an au or something now that i'm awake but. :c

"The internet has a habit of pathologizing normal human behavior and it's a problem" and "parents will see you struggling with Problems Disorder and say 'oh sweetie don't worry everyone has that :)'" and "lots of mental disorders are severely underdiagnosed and if you relate very heavily to memes about a specific neurotype you should probably see a doctor" are statements that can and should coexist

And the glue between them is "most mental disorders are about normal thought patterns and behaviors just cranked up to 11 or higher for one reason or another, be it chemical or structural or both"

Like sometimes you'll relate to a meme about a symptom that is just A Normal Thing That [Insert Diagnosis Here] Has More Of and that doesn't mean you have that disorder, and it's bad to assume you do based on just a few relatable memes especially if you have to soften the definition of a symptom on the assumption that it's hyperbolic (looking at what happened to "intrusive thoughts"), but if you relate to a few hundred especially some of the more dramatic ones...then maybe you should see a doctor or consider a deeper look into clinical resources for an informed self-diagnosis
