KAEYA AND ALBEDO.

kaeya is the cavalry captain of the knights of favonius, hes charming but like. in an almost assholish way. the traveller is just kinda annoyed with his shit and i love them for that. also canonically popular with the ladies.

albedo is the alchemist of the knights of favonius, hes blunt, socially awkward, and a bit of a recluse.

there isnt as much evidence for kaebedo as there is for eimiko BUT there is kaeyas about albedo voiceline:

For This Week's Blog Post: We Need YOU!

One of our long-term projects at Duck Prints Press - something we've been working on on-and-off for a while but haven't made public yet - is a Fandom Lexicon. There are a lot of websites and blog posts that include parts of a list of fandom-specific language, but we've not been able to find just a simple glossary, so we decided to put one together. (We're not saying such websites don't exist...they surely do...but we also wanted to do our own!)

There are many challenges in making such a list (one of the most obvious being what to include - how general a term is "too" general for inclusion?) but we've been doing our best, casting a wide net, and picking the collective brains of people involved in the Press.

And...we've basically exhausted our own knowledge/memories/ideas, which is where you, yes YOU, come in!

We want your terminology! What are fandom words you've encountered and said "wait, what does that mean?" What's old fandom slang you used to use that you don't see anymore and know that some newbie would be confused by? What are words you wish you could have found on a list when you first joined fandom?

We've already put together a list of 222 general fandom terms and abbreviations (some definitely "fandom specific," others more "internet general slang") and 29 fandom-specific abbreviations (this list is, obviously, much more nascent). You can see the entire list here. (note: there is citrusy terminology on this list, both literally the citrus scale is on there, but also things like A/B/O, BDSM, etc. - it's a lexicon, after all.)

Currently, we are looking for:

general fandom terms/online terms that would be confusing to people out of context; and

over-arching fandom abbreviations (e.g., MCYT = Minecraft Youtuber, but we don't want every single abbreviation for every sub-part of the fandom - just the level that if someone saw the abbreviation "in the wild" they'd have at least some frame of reference).

Long term, we'd love to do fandom-specific lexicons as well (NOT wikis, mind you, literally just "this abbreviation often means this" with links to resources that can give more information) but that's a much larger project that would require recruiting people with enough fandom-specific knowledge for each fandom, and is not our current aim, so please don't send us stuff like that.

Have you been in fandom a long time? Do you just HATE when people use the word "drabble" wrong? Have you got a list of words you wish fandom still used, or a list of newer terms you regularly look at and go "wait wtf does THAT one mean?"? Send us your words, so we can incorporate them into our list!

if i forgot to update today bc i was busy playing hsr no i didnt yes i did ❤️

today i slept, ate food, read webnovels, watched some eons videos n played hsr.

i wanted to read smth lighthearted yesterday cuz i was upset that n somehow i ended up reading an a/b/o esports danmei . dont ask how , but frm what ive read i think it was actually pretty serious n touched on gender roles and the struggles of people when they're forced into certain positions bc of their gender . the mc was even diagnosed w gender dysmorphia due to his unwillingness to identify as an omega (came from a different world) n i think he got surgery ? im not sure i dropped it halfway cuz i lost interest . n also the attitude of the doctor who diagnosed him rlly got me thinking it was an allegory to trans ppl bc he said its better that he gets the gland surgery instead of forcing him to change into an ideal omega like how some ppl do ... i think the author decided to portray the heat/gender/dynamic seriously n in a realistic manner which is actually nice .

me personally, i wldnt want to be reincarnated into an a/b/o universe .

Ratswap AU-Ouma's Story

So just like with Syobai, I need to establish how placing Ouma in the SDRA2 world will be much different for him. And unfortunately it'll be alot harder for him to actually beat the killing game for the following reasons.

1. There's already a mastermind. Ouma's shtick was that he took on the identity of the mastermind in the canon verse as a way of stopping the killing game. He constantly acted out like a villainous figure as a way of keeping people away which would give him more freedom to figure out the dynamics of the game. In this reality, he can't take that role since Mikado openly states that he is the mastermind and that he has the dark magic to back his claims. So he can't come up with a grand scheme to halt the killing game since the person behind it is living right beside him and is practically OP.

2. There are no motives. In the canon games, Ouma always tried to tamper with the motives or grab hold of them before anyone could get to them. He knew that the motives would always work and would kickstart someone into committing murder; so he would always try to control them in the hopes of saving the others. In the Isle of Nowhere, there are no motives for Ouma to control since it's just a waiting game for any of the students/Void members to create a murder.

3. His new classmates aren't as gullible or as useful as he'd like. Ouma was only able to get away with his schemes thanks to the talents and strengths of his V3 classmates. (Gonta being an easily swayed muscle man, Iruma with her inventions). But in this reality, there are no students with talents that would be able to help him to stop Mikado or the killing game itself. Plus not all of the students are as easily to manipulate like Ouma would hope for since most of them are quite level-headed or prefer to be more active on their own. (Only Hibiki and Iroha could be manipulated but the latter is under the strict control of her sister and there's only so much Iroha can do for him).

So in this scenario, Ouma wouldn't feel the need to actually become the villain as a means of keeping people away. There's already a villain for the others to unite against. And what's worse is that he has four compatriots that are willing to commit murder on command. So he'd still keep his distance since he knows that are designated killers in the group. I imagine that he'd still have his whiteboard and analyze each of his classmates to determine which ones are most likely working for Void and of course trying to figure out what Mikado's grand scheme is. And if he was trying to keep the group from killing each other, he would resort to using elaborate pranks to get everyone together. (Ex. Locking everyone in the dining hall while he broke into everyone's rooms to look for clues).

When interacting with the other students, he'd play the role of a mischievous brat. While messing with them, he'd try to evaluate each of them to determine whether they could be Void members based on their interactions with the others. I feel like he would instantly assume that Emma was a Void. "What! So the SHSL Actress wasn't really our best friend and was actually a mean old Void member out to kill us?! I never would have guessed that!" But he'd have a harder time with the other Voids; Nikei wasn't looking to kill and has a more complex personality and Iroha would be seen as too harmless and pathetic to do any serious harm.

Regarding potential allies, I feel that he'd have unlikely allies with Kokoro and Shinji. For Kokoro, her mind reading/psychological talent would allow her to see that Ouma is actually more thoughtful and scared than he leads on. Despite his childish attitude, Kokoro can see that he really is looking out for everyone. Before her inevitable death, Kokoro would either tell Sora or the group that Ouma does mean well and that he isn't a Void member. And with Shinji, his entire MO is to befriend the Voids so that they can work together and defeat Mikado. He would spend alot of time with Ouma and would push him to open up and befriend him and Yuki. Ouma is still on the fence as to whether Shinji is telling the truth or is also a talented actor, but he does have a harder time pulling his 'darker' personality because Shinji always scares him straight.

Sora is a complicated case for her. Ouma would have a difficult time trusting her because of her lack of memories and can tell that she has a great importance in the grand scheme of things. Sora thankfully would have none of his nonsense and would tell him to leave her if he isn't going to be helpful. Though I feel that she may warm up to him if Ouma makes an effort to help solve the 2nd and 3rd trials. But he'd instantly avoid her after Chapter 4 where she tries to kill Shinji to protect Yuki. Along with being willing to kill, Ouma would know that there's some type of connection between her and Yuki and both of them are involved in Mikado's masterplan. Afterwads, he'd keep his distance to speculate the connection they have with each other.

And that's all I have for this AU. I was also juggling the idea of Ouma asking Mikado if he could join as a potential Void member. By joining, he hopes to learn more about the dynamics of the killing game and get close to Mikado by turning on everyone. (Plus the sprites for Void!Ouma would be terrifying). But on the other hand, I don't think Ouma would consider the idea since the Void members are obligated to kill and I don't think Ouma has it in him to go that far. Especially if/when Mikado creates a new rule on how Void members cannot betray the group, meaning that Ouma would fall right under Mikado's control. So he'd either join Mikado or stay with the group.
