It's funny to be an adult who didn't realize they were queer until they were grown. Turns out those "crushes" on the cool boys weren't crushes. It was gender envy, but I didn't have the vocabulary to convey that
#lgbtq#nonbinary#i have such a distinct memory of a boy in middle school#i remember nothing about him but his look#he was one of those cool tall lanky emo kids who wore what he wanted had painted nails and dyed hair#even had the classic emo hair cut#he was also a sweet kid#if my friends hadnt made my “crush” weird i think i could have been friends with him#we talked every now and then but then when i went on to high school i never saw him again#i think his name was chris#i remembered him a few weeks ago and i realized it was never about having feelings toward him#it was how cool his vibes were and wanting to be more like him#not in a following a trend sort of way but a#'i finally have a visual representation of how i feel on the inside'#but at the time i was an awkward little girl with crooked teeth and badly bleached hair with stupid pink streaks my parents put in it#wondering why i didnt feel at home in my body#high school came around and i found a friend who was into emo bands and metal who had tattos and long hair#he was the nicest coolest person i knew and we were friends all 4 years and i finally felt seen#i didnt have a 'crush' on him but he was the cool dude friend i could always talk to and i took so much inspiration from him#he was even a huge artistic inspiration for me

favorite thing about getting older is the growing number of trans women in my life <3 there's still statistically more transfemmes than mascs overall in the world i believe but from my observations it seems like trans guys on average realize and/or come out way earlier. like at age 14 i only knew transmascs but as i get older and the people around me grow up and realize they're trans, and i meet more adults who happen to be trans... there's definitely an increasing number of tgirls in my life and man i cannot WAIT until college when there's even more!!!!!!!!!!!! being t4t gay is cool and all but i need to be more t4t bisexual!!!!!!
#i went to the video awards for another school in my area and one of the girls who's films were being shown was trans i think#and oh my god she was the most beautiful woman i've ever seen.......#her hair was so pretty and she was like 6'2 and had the COOLEST fashion sense and prettiest voice#ahhhhhhh it was like a month ago but i'm still thinking about her..

#the story mostly revolves around webkinz plushies cause they're my fave#I mentioned the moral of the story before#where its like ''embrace weirdness''#amd I think I mentioned Autumn my webkinz pumpkin puppy is the main character#the story is probably smth similar to lps popular a bit#except instead of the mc trying to compare and get as good as the mean girl#autumn is just living her best lufe and embracing her weord self#and the popular girls call her a poser#cause autumn like. dues her hair and hangs with some of the most popular kids#but she doesn't do it to fit in she literally does it cause she wants tp#and the popular kids hang out with her cause they genuinely like her and thinks she's a good person and like that she's true to herself#and maybe lowkey vicariously live thru her cause they have to keep up their popular facade#but wish they could just embrave their interests and passions as wholeheartedly as her#and the mean girl/antagonist/whoever they're gonna be are jealous because they also wish they could embrace their true self#but they built themself up to be the prettiest/coolest as well as smartest and most talented kid in school#and btw the school's popular criwd is ranked by how pretty/handsome + smart + talented you are. you don't just get popular by being hot#and/or rich#anyways the antagonist is jelly cause there's things she has interest in but she's been pushed/feels like she's gotta do a whole bunch#of other stuff they don't really care about#maybe they do it because their fam has high expectations#or maybe they've always been one of those ''gifted kids'' and they're burnt out but fear disappointing others#and letting them see that she doesn't want to do the things she'd been doing like sports pr acting or whatever it is (haven't decided#but they're gonna be multi-talented)#or maybe they're afraid theor friends and fans won't care for them anymore if they stop trying so hard to please them#like the antag isn't outwardly a people pleaser per se but inside they like making others happy or getting attention from them#They're probably egotistical outside and love showing off#and their ego is another reason for the jealousness#anyways hi I spend way too much time analyzing character personalities and dynamics even when I don't have a plot or story for said characte#yet. anyways that's all Im gonna say for now#ig if you want to know more about some other ideas I've got send asks
