Haunted Clone Week Prompts!

Here are the prompts for the Haunted Clone Week! There were so many good options and ideas, that we decided to give a total of nine prompts a day! As well as two Free Days, and a little surprise Bonus as well! Can't wait to see what they inspire!

Day 1- October 23rd

BONUS!- October 31st

So, I apparently am not good at counting. Which gave us an extra day to the week on accident! So, we decided to do something a little different for the accidental bonus day.

Twist An Episode Day!

-Basically, it's take any episode of Clone Wars, Bad Batch, anything the clones are in and twist it so the CLONES are the ones coming out on top. Do something to an episode so that it's the soldiers fighting, not the corrupt leadership, who benefit. Preferably something a little out there, a lil spooky, but it can be whatever you want. Use the extra day so that for once, it's the clones winning.

I don't know if anyone is going to see this, but I'm currently working on a Cody-Centric Fic which is probably going to be put in several parts. I have so many ideas.

If anyone is interested, it's going to be divided into three parts. One on Kamino, one on the War and one on the aftermath. It will not really be a fix-it and really clone centric.

The first part focuses on Cody's relationship with Jango, his batch mates (Fox, Wolffe, Bly, Ponds - heavy on the Fox) and later Rex. But you will notice that Cody is my favourite.

The second part includes Codywan. Sorry not sorry. It's going to be on the lighter side, with I hope lots of funny moments, but it still takes place during a war and Cody will deal with a lot of heartbreaking loss.

I'm not sure about the last part yet, but order 66 happens. It's probably going to be about imperial cody and how he learns to deal with the aftermath of what he's done and how he'll get out of the empire. I plan on including the way Darth Vader deals with clones as a sith and definietly a clone rebellion.

The point of this post is that it's still in the making process. I'm creating a time-line with events right now and have several mindmaps of relationship dynamics and how I'll portray them and just wanted to put the offer out to send me all ideas you've always wanted to see in a fanfic, but know you won't make it yourself. I'm open for shit posts and heavier ones. Your own ideas or some vague feelings. It doesn't matter.

This fic is already going to be written mainly for myself and is very self-indulgent and I thought, why not include everyone who never get's to writing their own fics.

So, yeah.

So even though I will likely be a clown (again) this time tomorrow, here's what I wrote out in the twitter thread above:

Please @/starwars Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2, this time with Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison as co-stars. There's closure now with Obi-Wan & Vader. Next, closure between the Jedi & the clones on Order 66, represented by the 2 we saw experience it first: Obi-Wan and Commander Cody

I know in the latest Obi-Wan comic, Obi-Wan basically goes "I miss Cody to this day, even though he tried to kill me. Ah well." And it just K*LLS me that that's it. Obi-Wan (and most the Jedi) have no clue that the clones were victims too.

Y'all are inserting Order 66 scenes in almost every show, so you can do it one more time, this time in an attempt to understand and gain closure. And this is a story that is genuinely best told through Obi-Wan and Cody. Palpatine sent the Order to Cody, first and most directly.

This is a story that doesn't need to mess with characters like Luke or Leia, who we know we'll see again. Cody is MIA as of TBB S2. Obi-Wan now also has some time after season 1, where we know he can't really be messing with Vader. This story can fit in well.

(heck, you can even insert more Clone Wars flashbacks, including young Ahsoka, you saw how much we all loved that in the Ahsoka show!) This show would let you share more about other clones and Jedi as well. Depending on how TBB S3 ends, we can have some connections there too.

PLUS! Temuera Morrison seems eager for a role. I'd love to see him again as Boba in TBOBF S2 (and have a whole 'nother pitch there), but Cody is a character that Tem personally originated in ROTS. He also had fantastic chemistry with Ewan as Jango!

So I'd love to see them share a screen again. (plus, age-wise, he's kinda closer to double-speed aged Cody than Boba?)

I could go on forever but…yes, please this.

But yeah, I know better than to get my hopes up, and I have been a clown about this many times before (including but not limited for the actual Obi-Wan S1 lmao).

It does occur to me that another very possible route they could take an Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 is doing something with Quinlan, since they left that very obvious thread open in S1.

the downside of digging really deep into canon and compiling characterization notes and worldbuilding meta and using all of that to craft intricate headcanon is that 99% of fic instantly becomes unreadable

when I fell asleep at 3:00 in the afternoon and awoke at 8:00, I dreamt that Scorch is actually a deep-cover agent for Rex. And being a trained clone commando, he hides his intentions very very well. What I can recall is that Scorch has hidden guilt about taking Omega away but he had no choice but to do his duty and that he was secretly glad she and Crosshair had escaped Weyland and Mount Tantiss. What I can recall is that, as Omega escaped; Scorch would mutter to himself “stay safe sister. Run away and never look back. It’s a dangerous galaxy out there.”

this could be the start of an idea of mine of which Scorch plays his role as a seemingly subservient clone commando very well!

What I consider CANON (aka the complete Lucas saga):

The Prequels x Original Trilogy (+ certain deleted scenes and novelizations)

What I consider EXPANDED UNIVERSE (aka optional supplementary material that is informed solely *by* the Lucas saga):

Lucas-era Clone Wars, including the 2D Tartakovsky series as well as the 3D animated series (2008-2013 seasons ONLY).

Other Lucas-era EU material, including various tie-in novels, comics, concept art, art books, and so on (but only that which aligns with and/or supports the primary canon).

Occasionally, I may reblog the odd bits of 'new canon' I watched prior to distancing myself from Disney's Star Wars (ie Rebels and Rogue One).
