So even though I will likely be a clown (again) this time tomorrow, here's what I wrote out in the twitter thread above:

Please @/starwars Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2, this time with Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison as co-stars. There's closure now with Obi-Wan & Vader. Next, closure between the Jedi & the clones on Order 66, represented by the 2 we saw experience it first: Obi-Wan and Commander Cody

I know in the latest Obi-Wan comic, Obi-Wan basically goes "I miss Cody to this day, even though he tried to kill me. Ah well." And it just K*LLS me that that's it. Obi-Wan (and most the Jedi) have no clue that the clones were victims too.

Y'all are inserting Order 66 scenes in almost every show, so you can do it one more time, this time in an attempt to understand and gain closure. And this is a story that is genuinely best told through Obi-Wan and Cody. Palpatine sent the Order to Cody, first and most directly.

This is a story that doesn't need to mess with characters like Luke or Leia, who we know we'll see again. Cody is MIA as of TBB S2. Obi-Wan now also has some time after season 1, where we know he can't really be messing with Vader. This story can fit in well.

(heck, you can even insert more Clone Wars flashbacks, including young Ahsoka, you saw how much we all loved that in the Ahsoka show!) This show would let you share more about other clones and Jedi as well. Depending on how TBB S3 ends, we can have some connections there too.

PLUS! Temuera Morrison seems eager for a role. I'd love to see him again as Boba in TBOBF S2 (and have a whole 'nother pitch there), but Cody is a character that Tem personally originated in ROTS. He also had fantastic chemistry with Ewan as Jango!

So I'd love to see them share a screen again. (plus, age-wise, he's kinda closer to double-speed aged Cody than Boba?)

I could go on forever but…yes, please this.

But yeah, I know better than to get my hopes up, and I have been a clown about this many times before (including but not limited for the actual Obi-Wan S1 lmao).

It does occur to me that another very possible route they could take an Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 is doing something with Quinlan, since they left that very obvious thread open in S1.

BUT I would still prefer Cody & clones centric😭🙏)

see, this one’s hard bc caprice generally does like people; she’s inclined to see the good in everyone, and she goes out of her way to look for it. i don’t know if she would ever have the opportunity to meet zak gramarye, or become close enough to apollo/phoenix/trucy/valant to hear much about him, but i could definitely see her disliking him, from what information she could potentially find out. of course, as a fellow performer ( not of the same art, of course ) she would still definitely respect him in a professional aspect, and she would hands-down agree that he is very skilled as a magician and performer.

idk. the only person he really admires is jake marshall, who he would also enjoy as a person, so… idk. i’m gonna guess probably some other drummer/musician in general that he’s run into during his time in the gavinners? because i could definitely see him admiring a musician of some sort for their ability, whether it be singing or playing drums or whatever it happens to be, but not being able to stand being around them. maybe they’re a jerk, or ego-centric, or have a poor sense of humor, i’m not sure.

this would be a lot easier if this was a reversed question tbh because caprice is prone to liking people but it is. not usually a returned sentiment lmao. i know a specific clay and a daryan have both had crushes on her, and i mean i’m sure she gets some fan love too with the gavinners? waIT I BET OLDER CODY HACKINS WOULD HAVE A FAN-TYPE CRUSH ON HER. YEP OKAY THAT’S MY ANSWER.

okay listen, thomas is french. now, dude’s not gonna have as much love as klav or daryan get, definitely, because they’re more of the leads, but he’s definitely got an accent and like. he’s probably pretty cute, he’s gonna have his fangirls. he did date val’s younger sister for a while too if that counts??? delphine probably liked him before then. also caprice had a little bit of a crush on him for a while but she outgrew that p fast.

HE IS A GIANT GRUMP WHO WOULD LIKE HIM??? like, one specific ema did in like. an au. not even in our mainverse. he’s the least likeable character i have ever had. … maybe one of his subordinates tho??? they probably try to impress him and flirt w him constantly and he remains equal parts unimpressed and oblivious. which is probably for the better bc if he knew he would turn them down in .02 seconds; he is not one for romance, also he thinks everyone who works for him is dumb.

caprice is probably a big social media presence; she posts stuff about all the other gavinners a lot; and runs a youtube account on top of having public twitter/snapchat/instagram/tumblr/facebook, probably. klav’s probably the only other one that’s even close to as active as her? so she’s probably got a big following that see the things she posts, and i think she’d use social media as an outlet to discuss her relationship ( or, more specifically, lack thereof ) with her parents, and/or talk about her relationships with her exes as a way of maybe helping out others in similar positions? even if it’s just little messages like “ never, EVER, let someone take advantage of you. nobody has any right to do that to you ” or spread positivity like “ daily reminder that you are loved and beautiful and you deserve only the best! ” and i’d like to imagine that, maybe when she’s out in this little hole-in-the-wall cafe in LA that she loves, another customer recognizes her, and is like “ hey, thanks for saying that stuff, ” maybe tells her that they also have family problems/abusive ex-partners or have depression and that her messages help them out a lot. maybe caprice buys them a coffee, sits down and talks to them about both of their struggles for a while. maybe she learns their name, maybe she doesn’t, but she just wants this stranger to be happy, and she’s glad to help them get there in whatever ways she can.

he probably met jake marshall once and almost cried. but since he knows who he is, i’m gonna say that’s probably not going to count. other than that i’m not really sure? probably someone he’s come across while working? honestly i would bet money he’s come across someone doing smth really weird while patrolling ( or even just going about his business in LA ) and still kinda wonders how that dude that was perched on a public bench making impressively-accurate bird noises is doing.

it’s not very original, but i’m betting it’s not too much of a surprise that kristoph is coming up. klavier ( at least my version of him ) doesn’t really talk about kris very much ( the two people that he would talk to him about are probably caprice and daryan ), so i doubt valentino was really expecting kristoph to be the way he was? valentino probably showed up at klavier’s to give him a ride or smth and i’m sure he was surprised by how coldly kristoph probably treated him. i feel like valentino would be that kind of a person to get pretty good reads on people so. i bet he was not a fan.
