I hate that rock for me a just baseline, unless it’s like CLEARLY rock. Like I’ll hear any sub-genre of rock and just think it’s generic good music. Especially any of the sub genres that are ‘softer’ rock.
This shit is doubly embarrassing considering the fact that I’m a musician, like, I’ve been doing this shit for ~11 years. I should know how to identify genres by now.
#rock#music#soft rock#leo/need#l/n#prsekai#sol talks#it me!#my post#Anyways my sister just told me that leo need is rock#This post applies to a lot of my musical tastes tbh#there are a lot of bands I just thought were ‘a band’ and didn’t realize did rock#I didn’t realize ELO was rock for the longest time#Also people get surprised when I tell I like rock for some reason#I mean I mostly listen to dad rock(or I guess more specifically… yatch rock *tears*) but I can listen to harder stuff#it’s just not in my MO since I don’t KNOW as much of the harder stuff so I just stick to what I know#I will never forget the time some was surprised that I liked Jethro Tull???#he’s not super loud or anything#It also happened with G N’ Roses or Aerosmith ( I don’t remember the song/band but it was in that genral area)#NOT ME GOOGLING AREOSMITH AND IT HEAVY METAL!?? THAT SEEMS WRONG#yah SEE WHAT I MEAN!#most sources said hard rock but apparently they at the very least metal influences(also blues)#this is like me finding Blue Oyester Cult is Heavy Metal/Hard Rock(even asked my metal head friend#uuh… as I was about to say I’m don’t listen to enough Hard Rock but I do like it! I just need to sit down and culture myself#Even though I artistically understand and as a singer respect the technique behind death growls I’m not the biggest fan of bands/songs that#use that. But besides that I fuck with most rock. I mean I fuck with metal if it’s clean#I mean I do like screaming or those like small growls just not full on growl if that makes sense#tbh I’m bad at identifying genres point blank unless it’s obvious#like songs can have vibes but I’m ass at telling apart genres

could u do something about thalia never showing up for jason? in the end of tlh he was hoping she’d show up for the counselors meeting and she didn’t so maybe a series of him making plans with her/trying to get in touch with her and just being disappointed every time… not thalia hate i love u thalia she just is too busy for him (while doing it during the months between tlh and son could be cool i think in between boo and toa would be more angsty bc u know he’s going through a breakup!!! he’s all alone in this random private school he isn’t familiar with the mortal world and he just wants his sister but she isn’t there!!!)
Two times Jason Grace wrote Thalia a letter, and the one time he didn't send it.
author's note: Ah this is so angsty and perfecttt :( The Grace siblings deserved more…they're my faves fr.. anyway, I hope I did justice to your request anon! Thank you for requesting, it made my day! I thoroughly enjoyed writing this. I just finished my exams and I'm back to having more time for writing :) you guys can send me more angsty jason prompts like this one if you want to, I'll write them with the best of my capabilities, I'm quite new to heavy angst like this so I was surprised when I was able to finish this within an hour. Jason Grace does this to me.
TW: severe angst. I mean it, very severe, character death, mentions of sacrifice, no happy ending. I went all out, I'm sorry. I was just way too into this.
Jason traced his finger over the glossy photo frame in his hands, which encrusted a picture of his older sister, Thalia. He had requested Leo to help him with the framing, the edges were made with a mahogany coating. He smiled at the lovely picture of his sister, her hair being held together by her silver huntress circlet, wearing her punk rock clothes.
Over the course of the summer, He had finally gotten the chance to take a good picture of Thalia for a family keepsake, he had held on to the tattered, torn picture of Thalia that annabeth had given to him before his first quest, and he still treasured it greatly. But he insisted that Thalia and him take at least one good picture before she disappeared with her maidens into the world, for months.
“And then Leo said-” Jason was cut off by thalia’s fellow maiden Phoebe, rushing towards them, yelling for thalia.
“Lady Thalia, lady Artemis is heavily in need of your assistance immediately!” Phoebe said panting. Thalia frowned and her eyes apologetically turned back to Jason. “I'll be there” she told her fellow huntress, before giving Jason a strangling hug. “I'm so sorry Jason, we'll talk later yeah?” Jason swallowed his disappointment after he saw how truly apologetic Thalia looked. “Of course, stay safe for me?” Thalia smiled sweetly and nodded at that before trudging up the path.
That was the last time he had seen of Thalia in months, and there was only one way to settle this. Jason decided to send in letters to his sister, that way, she could read it and keep them with her, and he could tell her everything without getting interrupted by anyone. He soon learnt to cherish this hobby alot. He loved his sister, and writing to her gave him a warm sense of comfort. He needed that, especially after Leo's death.
“Dear Thalia,
How have you been sis? I hope your mission with Phoebe to help Artemis went well! It's been pretty tough lately. My nightmares are plagued with pictures of mom. I know you of all people would understand how horrific that feels. I miss Leo, and piper's been acting a little strange around me lately.. but Leo's disappearance is taking a toll on her. So I get it. Nico is finally staying in camp half blood, isn't that great?? That boy deserved a break for once. Anyways, write back if you can, but if you can't, that's fine, I know you're busy.
–love, your annoying little brother.
Weeks, and months flew by, but still no response from Thalia. But he knew better than to take it seriously. Jason knew that she had gotten the letter, and that was enough for him. Well, that was enough, until things went downhill for him very quickly. Piper had approached him in the school corridor and thought it was a great day to end their year long relationship, shattering Jason's soul to pieces, this, coupled with the immense amount of pressure he had to build the minor god shrines, Jason felt numb, and he did what he usually did. He poured his heart out to Thalia in another letter, seeking comfort in his ink and paper. Longing for thalia’s presence once more.
“Dear Thalia,
it's me again, I hope you're doing good, atleast better than I am. I've been feeling terrible lately, Piper ended things with me, i guess we finally know why she was acting the way she did around me, huh? She said our relationship was only hera’s illusion and didn't feel that way about me anymore, which sucks, since I'm still very much in love with her. The pressure has increased tenfolds on me these days, the minor gods are heavily anticipating the promise I told them I'd keep. I'm planning on moving schools so i don't have to deal with the heartbreak of seeing Piper in school anymore. Anyways, I just wanted to write to you since it makes me feel better. Sending you lots of love from California.
— love, Your annoying little brother
Minutes. Hours. Days. Weeks. Months.
Jason knew. The moment the sibyl told him about looking for the third emperor. Jason knew, that his doomsday was going to knock on his doorstep very soon. He was going to sacrifice himself for Piper. And nobody was changing his mind. Jason stared out his dormitory window, the outside mortal world looked a little too cheery for the melancholic thoughts that were chasing his mind. He averted his gaze to the person in the picture frame hanging at his wall. Thalia had always been too busy for him. They had never had a proper full conversation together, one on one conversations getting disrupted, iris messages wearing out within a few minutes, even his letters never got a reply, or even a single acknowledgement.
Yet jason knew, that Thalia Grace was the only one who loved him more than anything in the world. She didn't have to spend time with him for him to know that. He knew by the way she had only left their childhood home after Jason was deemed “dead”, he knew by the way she had picked a two year old jason up  after he injured his mouth with that stapler,he knew by the way she played hide and seek when they were little, he knew by the way she had told no one about him, not even annabeth, since he was a memory that she held close to her heart. So subconsciously, his hands wrapped around the pen he always used to write with. With shaky hands, and teary eyes slowly dripping in the paper, he began to write.
Thalia was resting on the rocks, thinking of how Jason was doing, she had recieved all his letters and read them through atleast 2 times. She wanted to respond, but it kept slipping her mind. Something had always come up, but now, she was finally free. Just as she was about to pick up her pen, she heard her name being called.
“Thalia!”
It was Reyna. She was holding an envelope, Thalia’s spirits skyrocketed at the thought of her brother sending her another letter. But.. why was it being sent through Reyna..? It was usually always sent by Jason's wind manipulation. Those letters would float towards her. That's how she always knew it was from her brother.
She was expecting Reyna to tease about Jason's cheesy letters to his sister, but what she wasn't expecting, was for Reyna to start sobbing on the spot, breaking out the news that her younger brother was dead.
Jason. Her little stapler eating brother. Was dead.
“This was found by Meg in Jason's desk.” Reyna shakily handed Thalia the envelope. It was a blue envelope, the usual colour that Jason always sent to her. And on top of it, was his smudy handwriting that Thalia could recognise from a mile away. The letter was signed “To Thalia Grace”.
Thalia opened it carefully but tears were leaking out of her eyes.
“Dear Thalia,
there's something that I've been keeping for a while now, but I know it's finally the time to tell you this. I met the sibyl in the labryinth who had told me that my life would be cut short. if went looking for the third emperor, Caligula, either me or Piper would be killed. There's no point denying the inevitable is going to happen. Prophecy's can never be thwarted, after all. I've made my choice, I'm not letting Piper die. I've decided that I am going to use myself as a sacrifice. I'm writing you this, to let you know, that, I love you. I love you so much sis, I hope you know that. I know we've never got to see eachother much, but I don't want you blaming yourself in any way for this. I hope you know that, writing to you, even without a response from your side all these months, has helped my life feel a lot more meaningful. the mere thought of you taking the time to read my letters makes me feel so loved. So happy. Now that I know that I might be meeting my end, I'm letting you know, that I've cherished every single thing you've ever said to me. Including the fact that you hate tomatoes on your sandwiches. Take care of yourself, sis, I'm always with you.
  — love, for the last time, your annoying little brother :)
Thalia clutched the letter with her heart, screaming in agony. Thunder boomed angrily overhead, almost as if her father could feel her rage. Her heart strings were tearing apart. She sobbed, as she looked up at the blue sky, the same blue as Jason's darling eyes.
“I love you too. My annoying little brother, always”

Falling Face First
bro i’ve never written poly and there was a request for Lercy so yknow i have to at least try :( anyway here’s Leo being a simp and the reader also being a simp but hiding a little better than inferno boy.   - day
pairing: Leo x gn!Reader x Percy
warnings: I mean it’s poly so??? Fluff omg so dangerous, swearing too but that's the norm for me
requests:
imagine being someone who roller skates and dating Percy so going to the skate park for dates + Could I request Leo with a reader who really wants to learn roller skating but is scared to try, since they know they’d be bad at it at first and they’re scared of people judging them for falling/being bad at it? I’m kind of in this situation at the moment 😅 + poly!Lercy aswell, ugh i can't <3 <3 <3 so cuteeee
Tumblr media
You shivered and turned into the warm embrace behind you, feeling their chest rumble as they held you. You could hear Leo’s whining still, unfortunately. He was reluctant to come back to the very spot he made a fool of himself in front of his boyfriend. It seemed like he wasn’t aware that his poorly planned scheme actually pushed Percy into your lives, but you were too cold to explain that to him.
Instead, you reveled in the warmth that came from the tall man, his chin resting atop your head as he spoke, “Leo I don’t know why you’re so hung up on that one moment.” He laughed, “there’s plenty to get hung up on!”
Leo cracked a smile at Percy and waddled over in his skates, sandwiching you in a circle of warmth. Leo felt like a fireplace, warming you up after walking home in the snow, and Percy was comforting, like a couch after a long day of work. Oh my gods, did you just compare one of your boyfriends to a couch?
Percy pulled away first, grinning widely and stomping in place, “C’mon! Before the amateurs get here!”
You and Leo separated, Leo giving him a incredulous look, “I’m an amateur, babe. What are you talking about?”
Percy tugged Leo’s hand into his own, gripping it tight, “Sweet, now I have an excuse to hold your hand.”
You scoffed and held Leo’s free hand, bringing both of their attention to you, “You need an excuse to do that, Jackson?”
Leo chuckled, “You guys, there’s more than enough of me to go around”
You smirked when he lost his footing briefly, increasing his grip on your hand to avoid falling. He never got any better at skating.
 - - -
i.
The cold wind nipped at your nose causing you to bury your face in the scarf you had wrapped around your neck. You definitely were not built for this snowy weather, but you were excited to skate and show up Leo’s egotistic ass. Well not entirely egotistical, but he definitely thought he would be better at skating than you despite having never gone skating before.
When the idea was originally brought up to Leo as date night sort of thing, he was a bit too enthusiastic and said you should go to one rink in particular—even though that was much farther than the one you were thinking of going to. Although you were glad, he wanted to go, you were curious as to why he was set on the rink uptown near the Queensboro Bridge.
“I’ve just heard a lot of great things!” He stammered, fiddling with his camp beads, “Very big, very… icy.”
Turns out it wasn’t just because it was very big and very icy, but because Percy Jackson frequented the skate park not far from this rink. Leo had concocted this scheme of throwing himself in the path of Percy to grab his attention and in turn, you as well.
You hated how much you looked forward to how it would turn out. If it went badly, you could laugh at Leo’s hopeless attempts at flirting. If it did work, well…
So, you sat there, freezing your ass off and tying the shoelaces of your skates. You decided to keep your head down and let Leo do all of the pining, it was what he was good at. He was always the one to shoot his shot first and joke about it if he was rejected, he got too ahead of himself when you actually said yes and nearly rejected himself.
Leo hadn’t put his skates on yet and was looking around for his love interest rather obviously. You were just about to reprimand him for paying too much attention to someone who wasn’t his partner when he hurriedly rushed over to you.
“Shit shit shit he’s actually coming, oh my gods I don’t even have my skates on. He’s gonna think I’m stalking him!”
You laughed loudly and watched your boyfriend struggle to tie his shoelaces, “He’s not going to accuse you of stalking him when you’re just tying your skates, dummy.”
You laughed and glanced around the mostly empty rink, seeing couples skating hand in hand and siblings racing each other on the track. You wanted to skate a few laps before the kids got there and to get used to skating again before you had to help Leo. It wouldn’t do him any good if you were getting used to it while he was flailing about.
“I’m gonna make a few laps, okay?”
You didn’t wait for his reply and stepped onto the ice, pushing off and doing your best to remain upright. It would definitely take you a minute to get back into the rhythm of skating but teaching Leo wouldn’t be that difficult. If he’d let you help him, that is. Just as you were turning the corner at the very end of the rink you spotted a tall, dark-haired guy standing in front of Leo holding his hands as he led him forward on the ice.
You really couldn’t leave him for 5 minutes without him getting into trouble.
You hurried over and nearly knocked the pair over much to their surprise. Upon closer look you realized that Percy Jackson was here just as your boyfriend planned and he was more than happy to assist Leo in skating.
Percy looked up at you with a breathtaking smile, “I was wondering where you might’ve been!” His attention went back to Leo who was overplaying how bad he was at skating, “Leo basically fell flat on his face as soon as he stepped on the ice.”
“Did not!”
You hummed and took one of Percy’s hands away from Leo, seeing him flush at the contact, “How about we share Leo? You take one hand and I’ll take the other, so he doesn’t fall on his face again?”
Leo huffed, “I did not fall flat on my face!” He paused and watched as both you and Percy took his hands, interlacing fingers and feeling how cold both hands were against his own warm ones. He couldn’t lie and say that you weren’t smooth about including Percy in on your plans, but he would still take the credit that Percy came over to help him first. So, he saw it as a win on his part.
Percy’s mind was spinning at the interaction though. He was always attracted to both Y/n and Leo, but when they started dating each other, those thoughts never did stop. He wondered if it were possible to date both of them at the same time. Would they be open to that?
He almost missed the mischievous look Leo shot your way and the smile you sent back, the message behind it though clear to the couple were up for interpretation in Percy’s eyes. He made up his mind that today wouldn’t be the last time he went out with these two and he’ll be going out with them more frequently.
ii.
Much to your pleasure, Percy didn’t say his goodbyes after helping your overzealous boyfriend learn how to stay upright. He stayed and talked to you long after Leo mentioned that he needed to sit a down for a bit, accompanying you on your trips around the ice rink.
You could understand why Leo had a crush on him now, he was too perfect to be real. Of course, you’ve talked to him before, but then it was only in terms of the ongoing war and no real bond had come from that like it had with Leo, though you wish it had now.
He talked animatedly about his little sister, Estelle. He must’ve taken 15 minutes to tell one story completely, but it didn’t matter much to you. You were admiring the twinkle of affection in his sea green eyes and were ashamed to admit that you wondered what it would be like if he looked at you with the same twinkle.
You were so busy looking at him that you didn’t notice a rock on the ice in front of you, although he did. He reached out and grabbed your arm, pulling you to him gently and quickly so you wouldn’t fall over.
“You good?”
You could only nod and give a small smile, your eyes drifting to his lips breifly before coming to your senses. You didn’t want to scare him.
He seemed to notice though and was reluctant to let you go, feeling his face warm up; whether it was from the cold or the interaction he didn’t know for sure.
You cleared your throat and jabbed a thumb over your shoulder at Leo who was doing a horrible job at minding his business, “I’m gonna go check on Lee, he might want some hot chocolate or something to eat soon.”
Percy, finally coming back to his senses stammered out quickly, “I’ll go save us a seat at Astoria’s!” He wasn’t sure if you heard him, but he went anyway, hoping to collect his thoughts if he was away from you for a while.
You fumbled over to Leo who tried to meet you halfway, practically falling into you. His wide grin was infectious and you soon you were doing the same.
“Shit Percy is so cute, dude.”
“See? I told you!”
“My gods you didn’t tell me his eyes sparkled, this is important information Leo.”
“Must have slipped my mind when I was trying secure him as our boyfriend, my dear.”
You took a breath and helped Leo back to the bench so you could both take off your skates and return them. Leo was hungry for Percy content and kept pestering you on the way over, “Well?! What did he say? Was he talking about me? Did he talk about how bewitching my eyes are?”
You scoffed and moved to help him unlace the skates before moving to your own, “Of course he did, who wouldn’t talk about your eyes, babe? He said you had a cute butt too.”
Leo leaned back on the bench with a quiet gasp, “I knew it.” he mumbled before smiling widely, “But for real, tell me what he said!”
You both stood, intertwining your hands and moving toward Astoria’s. You filled Leo in on the things Percy said, well what you could remember anyway. You were too focused on his eyes to remember every detail.
You were only a few steps from Astoria’s when it finally clicked in Leo’s mind that you weren’t headed home, “Hey wait, why are we going in here--” He made eye contact with Percy who grinned and waved at the pair.
“Why didn’t you say we’re grabbing hot coco with him? I’m not mentally prepared for this.”
“Chill out! Aren’t you supposed to be cool boy supreme or something like that?”
“Right, right.”
The bell on the door chimed as you walked in and headed to the table in the back. Percy looked all too cute bundled up in his blue scarf and puffy jacket, he sat in the middle of the booth so that Leo and yourself would be on either side of him. Which you didn’t mind entirely.
Leo messed with his curls with a small smile, “Hey Perce, I didn’t know you liked hot chocolate.” He blinked at how dumb his own statement sounded but decided to stick with it.
Percy chuckled and leaned forward, resting his head in his palm, “Yeah, yeah I do.”
There was a weird pause and you let out a loud sigh, “Well, sit down already Leo!”
He slid in next to Percy, his eyes looking up at Percy like the tall male just gave him his favorite candy. It was obvious that Leo had already fallen hard for the son of Poseidon and you knew it wouldn’t be long before you followed suit.
After getting some of the best hot chocolate in New York, conversation flowed easily. Leo got to see the sparkle in Percy’s eyes that you were so infatuated with, and you got to see the lopsided smile Leo always seemed to put on his face. It’s a wonder that you all didn’t become close during the war, but with circumstances being what they were, you could understand why it wasn’t a priority to play icebreakers.
“So...” Percy spoke after a short pause.
Both Leo and you leaned in unconsciously to hear what he had to say next, eager to keep talking to this boy for the next 5 hours if he’d let you.
“We should meet again soon?”
You cocked your head in confusion, “Huh? What are you-- are you saying you wanna go out with us again?”
Leo looked toward the flustered boy with interest, “Did you have fun with us today? What was your favorite part-- ow!”
You gave him a look, bringing your foot back to it’s former place. You were pulling for a certain answer and Leo was diverting from him giving it. You’ll apologize for kicking him later; if you remember.
Percy glanced worriedly at Leo but answered you a little nervously, “Yeah like maybe, I don’t know... tomorrow?” After a shocked silence overtook the table he added quickly, “I mean you guys don’t have to and you might already have plans but I have to go soon because my mom made pasta and--”
Leo made a bold move, resting his hand on top of Percy’s and giving a reassuring laugh, “Percy, we’d love to go out with you again tomorrow.”
Percy’s eyes shifted to Leo’s hand and he tried hard to fight the ecstatic grin that wanted to crawl onto his face. He made a quick glance up at Leo’s pretty brown eyes before letting out a happy chuckle, “Cool! We can meet here tomorrow at noon?”
You nodded and shared a victorious look with Percy, “Yeah! Sounds great.”
Another pause, but this one was full of joy from each one of you. Although you could sit in his presence for a few more hours, you remembered that this boy had some pasta to inhale at home.
“Percy, do you need to go? You said your mom was making pasta tonight.”
His eyes widended at your words and looking towards Leo who had moved his hand and scooted out of the booth so he could get out, “Yeah uh, yeah uh I gotta go but--” He slid out and turned to face the table before leaving, “I had an amazing  time guys and I can’t wait to see both of you tomorrow. See ya!”
And he was gone.
Leo went to say something but you beat him to it, wrapping him in a hug and kissing him firmly on the mouth, “I have never been more grateful for your dorky ass!”
He decided to ignore your remark and relish in this moment for now, both blissfully unaware of the sea green eyes that watched outside the shop.
Percy had turned back to glance at the couple one last time and saw a scene that made his heart swell up in affection. He grinned and looked away, a silent hope that tomorrow was the start of something new in the back of his mind.

private profile  /  idol profile  /  pinterest
woong is from seoul, which is where he spent the first seven (7) years of his life. but then his parents divorced super suddenly & his dad ~kept the house~ so woong, his mom and his four siblings had to find somewhere else to go. they ended up moving to handong-ri on jeju island and settling in with the mom’s parents on their tangerine farm. so....... yeah he moved from seoul to a fuckin village 😭
really spacious house, really spacious property, really pretty property, but woong was not happy at all. he missed seoul & missed his dad, who made no effort to continue being a father figure after the divorce which was also Really Shocking because he was a great dad before that.
but, life goes on. woong was still really young anyway, so he adjusted to the farm life + to jeju. he ended up finding an activity that got him off the farm and that he actually really, really liked, too  —  soccer!!! he was a fast learner, naturally athletic so he did well and his coach had a LOT of faith in him. eventually he formed the plan to return to seoul as an athlete / to train in a big sports center there but y’know... life can’t be that easy.
aka he got badly injured during a match in 2013 / when he was 16. managed to tear BOTH his acl and pcl, so his leg was Fucked. had to get surgery and the whole recovery process (including physical therapy) took a year and some change. very bad time. i would even call it a Horrible time. he didn’t feel like he was good at anything other than soccer so he was like damn... how am i gonna get out of here now?
but he had his height and his subjective good looks going for him 🤪 in 2014, he had more or less recovered as well as he was going to, was kinda tentative about trying soccer again but Wanted to. before he could work up the courage, he was street casted by a dimensions rep. his family clowned him hard for thinking it was real so he kinda went to the audition to prove that he’s not THAT dumb, kinda went bc he needed an excuse to get tf back into a city, man. handong was NOT cutting it for him.
long story short he became a trainee from pure luck (and some natural talent ig), moved to seoul which fucked up his family relationships to some extent bc him leaving was VERY sudden, no one except his oldest sister even knew that he had been planning to leave for sports. assumed he’d stay there forever, thought it was fucked up that he was so quick to run away.
i’m gonna jump ahead to 2021... i wouldn’t really say that he hates unity, but he definitely feels like an outsider looking in. doesn’t have a background in music, so being an idol at all still feels really weird, but especially with unity’s ~experimental~ music.
he’s distant. when he was younger (and even in his earlier idol days), he was nice enough. not loud, but would laugh and play along with others if they spoke to him first, would reach out to others first on occasion. but his company-assigned image is a mix between tsundere & the “assa” / outsider type; detached, fine on his own, a bit cold/mean/aggressive. like vixx’s leo earlier on but a little more toned-down. going with the outsider portion, he also has the clueless/living under a rock vibe going for him, so fans call him caveman woong 💀 it used to be JUST an image but ultimately fucked up his ability to connect with other people so now he’s rly like that most of the time (and really doesn’t keep up with the world LOL) you can talk to him but his social skills are so bad now that he’ll ignore you but not on purpose.... mf just doesn’t know what to say ever bc he’s been told Not To Talk so much.
he isn’t.... necessarily... mean. he can be, but i’d personally say that he’s more of a self-focused, no bullshit type. really lonely guy who doesn’t know how to interact with others anymore. i guess he wants to relearn people skills, but he’s not trying at the moment. content to just float around in his bubble.
known for being really strong/athletic, which has become one of his very few defining characteristics as an idol. he cannot count the times that he’s shown off his strength by holding a note while splitting fruit on variety shows or dribbled soccer balls for extended periods of time. He’s Tired.
a lesser-known skill he shows off sometimes is his ability to identify plants. if you don’t know him as the athletic guy or the cold guy, you probably know him as the nature guy. he has most korea-native plants memorized and he’s currently working on learning exotic plants. one unspoken goal he has is to show off on a show like law of the jungle.
he raises a bunch of different fish / water-dwelling creatures. has three different tanks.
talks to his fish like they’re babies. if you ever catch him doing this, no you didn’t <3
he used to be REALLY secretive about his family, only ever said that he used to live in jeju but never shared details or clarified any speculations. his privacy disappeared when his family started promoting the tangerine farm as “a place full of unity’s woong’s charms” and allowing visitors, which pissed him off SO BAD because they were making money off of HIS labor... and then they realized he has a lot of fans & they couldn’t handle it, so they closed off the farm to the public again. somehow, this made him even more angry.
he doesn’t really do any solo activities and idk if i’m ever going to push him as an individual? idk i might but he’s honestly not that interesting/appealing to anyone other than his stans so i don’t see the company pushing him and he doesn’t have much of a desire to do anything on his own in the public eye, either. lowkey so tired that he kinda wishes he’d just stayed in jeju but at the same time..... knows if he had, he’d still be looking for a way out??? idk he’s just here to promote unity’s ~experimental~ songs and pretend like he has a sense of identity.

Prythian Valley - Chapter 1
Secrets
New person of interest: Helion Daye.
Here’s a question how far would you go to hide a secret, to protect it? How far would Helion go to hide a secret? What if the secret wasn’t a thing but a person and what if he wasn’t protecting something horrific but a…relationship? As Nesta and Audrey are coming out late from cheerleading practice hoping to just relax in Nesta’s hot tub will a chance situation rock her to her core and question her loyalties?  Cassian always knew Nesta carried burdens but he was angry at God for giving her burdens to carry which weren’t hers, burdens which made her cry in the dark in school when he was coming back from football practice.
One last question....How young can a criminal be?
Prologue here
A/N : IM BACK GUYS. I WAS IN LONDON FOR EID BUT NOW I’M BACK GET READY FOR AN ONSLAUGHT OF FIC UPDATES. HAPPY BELATED EID I LOVE YOU ALL.
Tumblr media
Helion Daye, 9 years older than Nesta and like an older brother to her from the age of 3. They were nerds for life and he was a much respected former student of Velaris High. When Nesta moved from LA to Prythian Valley with her mother it was Helion who got special permission from the principal and showed her around his old school. Helion was now a part time university lecturer, owner of Daye Publishing and part time party boy.
But he had a secret, one that went back to his younger days when he was a sophomore. No one could know, because if they did then it would mean nothing to him, but to the other keeper of the secret…
She would be destroyed.
Her name was Mrs Clarissa Vanserra; she was an English and Art teacher in Velaris High when Helion was in school. She had started teaching when she was so young, only 22, and when Helion stepped in her English class he almost dropped to his knees.
She was so beautiful, but what struck him the most was… she was helping a boy with tissues, a boy who his friends had been bullying outside. She turned to him and he almost crossed the distance and kissed her. He found out she already had children; her eldest was a 3 year old, the same age as his little Nessie. And as one thing led to another they had an illegitimate relationship, an affair.
She was ashamed of it, because she was married and as Helion later found out it was an abusive marriage. He tried to tell her to leave him but she wouldn’t hear of it, she had children with this man.
The affair never truly ended… he had to leave for Uni as his mother in LA had got him into one of the best ones in the country.
But Clarissa was carrying Helion’s child. She knew it was his. And she told him she… she told him she aborted it because it would only stop him from achieving his dreams. After he left Clarissa thought that was the end of her and Helion’s story but she was wrong.
Nesta came out of double geography stretching her limbs Luna next to her, Feyre and Amren were exchanging homework apparently.
Nesta was about to walk up to them when she saw…
“Helion!!” She ran to him and he picked her up spinning her around, he laughed as he set her down,
“Hey Nessie,” he chuckled,
“Hellcat what are you doing here?!” She asked,
“Well I wanted to see my old school, and try outs for the football team and its new captain is being picked, I’m also now an advisor for the school newspaper so you’ll be seeing a lot of me.”
Feyre and Luna gave him a hug and he said, “Where’s Mrs Vanserra’s new class, it’s not the old one. I needed to talk to her about the placement of the newspaper office.”
Nesta was confused but Eris came up behind her saying, “My mom’s old class is now a biology lab, her new one is in the second floor.”
To most people Helion was glad to see Eris but Nesta could see the tightness in his eyes when Eris came up to them. He nodded and headed upstairs.
Nesta gave Feyre a hug and told her to tell mom she’d be home late with Audrey.
Feyre nodded and headed off to her last class.
--------------------------
Audrey and Nesta were packing up their stuff. They had spent more time after practice to choreograph a new routine for the upcoming matches. They headed upstairs to return the locker keys to the janitors office. He had let them stay earlier do long as they lock up and leave the keys in his office. As they were returning they went past the new newspaper office,
“Damn!” Audrey whispered, “Helion’s done a good job.”
Nesta nodded and they went to the back entrance that led to the parking lot. As they went past Mrs Vanserra’s office Nesta froze stopping Audrey.
Before Audrey could gasp, Nesta put a hand over her mouth.
Because there… there was Helion and Clarissa Vanserra standing a breath apart, Helion tracing the skin on her hands whispering something to her.
Nesta made up different circumstances, maybe he was blowing something out of her eye, or she could be hurt, or maybe she had a panic attack and Helion was comforting her.
But as Helion picked up her hand and intertwined their fingers pressing a kiss to the spot below her ears Nesta could no longer kid herself. They had an affair.
Audrey pulled her out and to their car.
As Nesta started it Audrey said, her voice hard, “tomorrow 6am at the office, are we going?”
“You bet your ass we are.”
--------------------
Helion was setting up the new office, when Nesta and Audrey stepped in. Audrey shutting the door and leaning on it to add another layer of soundproof and defence.
“Hey girls, it’s a bit too early but I guess if you missed me-“
“How long?”
He raised a brow, “Pardon?”
“How fucking long Helion have you been sleeping with Clarissa Vanserra?” Nesta ground out.
His face drained of any colour and he swallowed, “How-how-“
“We saw you after school yesterday.”
He let out a strangled breath and dragged a hand through his hair, then turned to Nesta taking her hands in his and sitting her down on a chair,
“Nes, listen it’s not-“ she snatched her hands away, he took them again a pleading look taking over his eyes,
“You want the truth, I’ll tell you all of it,” he took a deep breath, “ I was a sophomore, Feyre’s age and she was a new teacher, we fell in love Nesta, she had a notebook and she wrote stories in them and I fell hopelessly in love with her words with her, it’s like what you and Cassian have”-she growled-“forget I said that, anyway, she loved me back but she had children, and she was married, an abusive marriage albeit but she wouldn’t leave her children. And then I left for uni but every time I visited the valley I’d meet her and we’d…”
He shook his head, “Nesta please don’t tell anyone. No, please don’t”
“Why?!”She was crying now, “Why not?! You have an affair with a married woman with the mother of my best friend, why can’t I?”
“Because I was there!” He shouted,
Nesta looked at Audrey and back at him, “Where?”
“When Amarantha died, the day she died, the night she died, I was there, we heard someone laughing and talking and… i was there with Clarissa.”
Nesta exchanged a look with Audrey who was suddenly furious,
“No! Nesta had to protect Feyre and now you!”
Helion looked startled, “Why? What happened with-“
“Not now,” Nesta said, “We will keep your secret Helion. But you know we have to tell Luna, she won’t tell anyone either. But why can’t we at least tell Eris or-or”
Helion stood up gathering Nesta’s hands in his, tears slipping down his face,
“We had underage sex Nesta, and I got her pregnant. She had an abortion later but… the cracks are still in our relationship from it. Do you understand the gravity of this situation? I, a 15 year old got a 22 year old teacher pregnant. She could lose her job, I could go to jail, and she could too. Please.”
Nesta stumbled back as Audrey slid down the door hands in her hair.
“A child?” she whispered and Helion nodded.
Nesta nodded, “You have our word Helion, we’ll keep your secret.”
Audrey opened the door as Helion thanked them,
They left telling Luna to meet them at Pop’s.
-------------
Luna slurped her milkshake in shock.
“I cannot believe it. And we are not allowed to tell Eris?”
Nesta shook her head.
Audrey leaned back into the booth and groaned.
“What if Eris hates us?”
Audrey and Nesta hadn’t ordered anything. They’d just came in and started rambling. Pop Tate came over,
“What can I get you girls?”
“Turkey club burger, chilli fries and my large regular milkshake for me Pop,” Nesta answered.
“Chicken club, curly fries and my regular milkshake,” Audrey said as Pop smiled at them and hurried off.
“Stress eating?” Luna asked.
Nesta waved her off.
The TV blared quietly in the background as Nesta turned her head.
“A washed up truck was found late yesterday night-“
“Pop can you turn it up please?” Nesta asked as Pop did so.
“By the sheriff’s office. If this red truck belongs to anyone then it can be claimed from the sheriff’s office. Now moving onto todays main headlines…”
Nesta’s face was etched with horror, as was Luna’s and Audrey’s. Nesta put on a fake smile and turned to Pop,
“Hey Pop, could you pack ours up and also pack in Feyre, Elain and Jonah’s regulars and Mom’s double chocolate milkshake please?”
Pop nodded and gestured to Demi who was preparing the orders.
Nesta let out the staggering breathe as Audrey dialled up one of their friends.
“Leo? We need you to take Jonah to Chicago tomorrow.”
Audrey looked at Nesta. Nesta nodded.
“They found the truck.”
-----------
Nesta rushed in as Elain seemed to be making coffee. Feyre and Jonah were at the table. Jonah was Nesta’s half-brother, the loving result of her mother’s affair. Jonah wasn’t that fond of Feyre or even Elain for that matter but he loved Nesta, a love that went really deep. He was in middle school and his best friend was Cassian’s sister, the youngest Narenz: Nyx Narenz.
She slammed down their takeaway and said, “Go eat in your rooms. Don’t come out and Mom will never know you had takeaway for breakfast.”
They all exchanged looks. Then they all ran to their rooms, grabbing the paper packages.
Nesta strutted into her mother’s study.
But her mother was already staring at the TV screen. Hand over her mouth in horror. She walked up to her mother wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
“Don’t worry Mom, we’ll sort it out.”
Her mother started shaking her head, “No, no I have already got you involved way too much. I will not allow you to-“
Nesta shook her slightly, “Hey mom, I’m doing it either way. Plus I’ve got everything planned out.”
“I can’t put this on you. I need to protect my baby boy, need to protect you.”
“You’re handling things on the inside. Let me handle this. Besides he’s my brother too you know.”
Before she could answer, the doorbell rang. Nesta took the remote and turned off the TV telling her mother to stay here.
She walked down the hallway to the main door and flung it open.
Her eyes narrowed,
“What do you want?” she snarled.
--------
Cassian swallowed and asked himself if there was a time of day where Nesta did not look fucking gorgeous.
Her hair was pulled into a long sleek ponytail, and she wore a tight long sleeved sheer meshed crop top with a red dragon print. It showed a black bra underneath and was paired with a black mini skirt and black gladiator heels.
He put on a cocky grin and said,
“Your sister said she needed a ride because Rhys’ car is in servicing.”
She snorted, leaving the door open, “Feyre! Your chauffeurs here!”
She turned back to him, “I’m picking up Nyx at 7:30 for the slumber party, all right with you?”
He nodded, “Who else will be there? Nyx hates all of us and hasn’t really told either of us three who’s coming?”
“Nyx doesn’t hate you, the three of you are just annoying, and I don’t disagree with her. And to answer your question, Roxy and Alec are coming.”
Cassian chuckled, “Ouch, no wonder you’re her favourite.”
She rolled her eyes and made her way back to the study. But Cassian knew Nesta and he could see her shoulders sagging from the burdens she carried. He could see a scared little girl behind those stormy eyes today and that terrified him. But before he could dwell on that matter Feyre bounded in and dragged him to his car.
-----------
Cassian bumped fists with his crew and went to take a long shower. As he came out he saw Nesta in her cheerleading outfit, rummaging around in her locker. He stalked over to her leaning against the adjacent locker.
“Well, well, if it isn’t Nesta Archeron. What’s the residential ice queen doing so late at school,” the next part wasn’t intended to be cruel but the jealousy Cassian harboured at the fact that Nesta wasn’t his leaked through him as he whispered, “Or shall we say who’s heart is she breaking?”
She slammed her locker shut and as she looked up at him he faltered. How did he not notice? Shit.
Her eyes were red, and her voice sounded slightly broken.
“Are you done Cassian?”
She swallowed and out a hand to her mouth running past him to the toilet.
All Nesta could see was…memories of the blood on her hand. Of the bleach as she used it. As she burned her mother’s old rug because of the red stains on it. She remembered the gore and as much as she tried to push it away it just kept coming back.
She puked her lunch into the toilet and then felt strong warm hands hold her hair back. Long soothing strokes were made on her back and she managed to say,
“Cassian you can’t be in the girl’s toilet.”
“I think I can handle detention for being in here for you puking.”
A few minutes later she was washing her face in the sink. She steadied herself as she gripped the sides. Cassian put a hand on her lower back and guided her outside.
“You need some fresh air.”
She sat on back step that led to the parking lot.
Cassian kneeled in front of her, her eyes were still red.
“Nesta please tell me, what happened?”
No answer, just silent sobbing.
“Nes please. Or I’ll tell Feyre and Elain and let them handle it. You need to tell someone or you’ll break down again.”
Nesta shook her head profusely, “No, no, please it’s just… I can’t handle these secrets, Helion having an affair with Eris’ mom for so fucking long, he-he had a baby with her, he-he had sex with her when he was 15. And got her pregnant. Even though the baby was aborted I and he was at the river when Amarantha- and then there’s Jonah-“ she broke down sobbing.
Cassian waited a few seconds letting it set in. Helion the school’s former golden boy had an… affair? With a married woman?
He pulled Nesta into his arms.
They stayed like that for a long time before Cassian asked,
“What about Jonah?”
She opened her mouth to answer before her phone buzzed.
“I need to go. Mom’s worried.” She picked up her stuff, and as she walked away from him he said,
“I’ll give you a ride-“
“No, it-its fine.” And as she walked away he could’ve sworn he heard,
“Thank you Cassian.”
 Coming up Next:
Nesta crossed her arms at her mother,
“Jonah is going to Chicago with Leo and that’s final. Leo will take care of him, she would never allow anything bad to happen to him.”
Her mother opened her mouth but the study door burst open,
“You can’t take Jonah away from me!” Nyx pleaded at Nesta.
But Jonah held up a hand and stepped toward his older sister.
There was fear, Nesta realized in her 14 year old brother’s  silver eyes as he looked up at her and asked,
“Is it because I killed Tomas Mandray?”

Week 2- Creatober
Prompts: Awareness, Pressure, Fight, Sunrise, Burn, Bruise (I couldn’t seem to fit Intrigue in here!)
Kagura pressed her fist to her mouth to cover the yawn that betrayed just how tired she was. Beside her Leo was leaning over his fiancé’s shoulders, eyes closed and groaning into Shin’s neck. Shin was petting his hair as they scanned the line of guards that bracketed them.
The walkway was lit with the glare of streetlamps as a soft glow on the horizon carried the promise of a sunrise. The carriage that they stood in front of was an ornate thing, golden and giant with little dragons sewn into the drapery. It looked like those show boxes royalty would put pretty trinkets in.
Princess Ursula was anything but a pretty trinket.
Not to say that she isn’t pretty, she floundered in her own head. Her Highness is very beautiful! She's just not a trinket!
Achieving Runic mastership at the age of twenty was almost unheard of. The variety of properties behind each and every rune made the field notorious for its complexity. Kagura had to research some of the more common runes during her medical classes and it was like pulling teeth trying to understand them.
She really hoped she would get to see more of the Princess’s abilities in action.
“When are they gonna get here?” Leo groaned. “I could have gotten more sleep if all we’re gonna do is stand here for an hour!”
“It’s ceremonial, Leo.” Shin swept another hand through his hair. “Her Highness needs to be dressed in traditional clothing for her travels through the outer rings.”
“Also, she and Kavan need to talk mission details.” Kagura poked Leo’s side.
“But sleep!” Leo pressed into his fiancé even more.
“Leo.” Shin shrugged him off their shoulder. “You’re going to be riding on top of the thing anyways. Chill out.”
The ginger groaned and moved to lean on them again just as the guards parted. Kagura and Shin elbowed him up straight as Kavan led both the Princess and Empress Sakura forward. The three sunk into deep bows at their approach.
“Rise.” The Empress’s clear voice seemed to set pressure down on Kagura’s spine, forcing her to obey. “Dear guildsfolk, I entrust to you my daughter. Protect her and care for her.”
“We will, Your Excellency.” Kavan bowed, showing her the respect he would usually only show to the Vulcos Grandmaster.
“Ursula, my daughter.” Sakura turned to the Princess, her lips pursed in what could only be worry. “I wish you safe travels. Return to me swiftly.”
“Of course, Mother.” Ursula bowed her head, her face covered by the veil she wore. She turned to the carriage and her beautiful formal robes drifted across the ground as she walked.
Kagura was sure that her eyes were burning against the Princess’s back as she climbed the steps into the carriage. She just couldn’t help herself. The grace that her Highness moved with swayed the fish beaded into the fabric so that they almost looked alive.
Ursula settled into the carriage as her newly appointed guards took their positions. Shin took up the horses’ reins as Leo climbed up to perch on the guard post beside the sunroof window. Kagura and Kavan moved to their rear guard positions.
Their travel through the palace grounds and out into the Upper Ring was uneventful. Kagura spent her time checking her gloves and doing her fourth pocket pat down of the morning.
Once they cleared the palace walls it was another story entirely.
Whispers traced their path through the city.
Kagura hadn’t noticed it at first. She’d been caught up in staring at the tops of the monolithic buildings that towered over the streets when a small exchange caught her ear.
“Demon’s out to play again.”
Her eyes snapped down in time to see some lordly asshole bend over to whisper in another’s ear.
“I don’t know how Her Excellency can stand it. That thing living in her walls.”
“If it lived in my home you know I’d…” The voices became indistinct as they moved further away.
After that she was aware of every cupped mouth and averted glare. Her shoulders rose higher and higher and she cut a glance at Kavan only to see him shake his head. His hand nearest to her flipped palm out for a moment before moving back.
Don’t. Not worth it.
Her eyes flicked up to meet Leo’s and she let her head tilt forward.
Leo grimaced and tapped twice on the carriage roof.
Shin flicked the reins, cuing the horses to speed up.
They moved through the Upper Ring as fast as possible.
The gate between the Upper and Lower Rings was gaudy and unnecessarily golden. There were guards posted every yard along the wall. The ones closest to the carriage bowed as they passed, backing up as they did.
The Lower Ring was only marginally better.
The working class didn’t bother with whispering those foolish remarks, not ready to face the possible jail time for insulting royalty. They did, however, turn away from the carriage and clutch their children close.
The closer they got to the edge of the Lower Ring the less people seemed to care. By the time they reached the Parting Gate, the cityfolk barely batted an eye at the Princess’s carriage.
The guards of the Parting Gate didn’t bow. Instead, each one gave a nod, arms crossed and faces stoic. Kagura startled a bit when she saw Princess Ursula’s hand slide out of one of the windows and give them all a wave.
Beyond the Parting Gate, the mood around the carriage took a dramatic turn.
Along the Palace City walls were camps and small slums of those forbidden from entering. Instead of whispered words and averted eyes were people trailing behind them. Children ran alongside the carriage, calling out to the ‘pretty ma’am’ to play with them.
A sudden low whistle sounded from Leo causing the carriage to slow to a halt.
Requested stop. Kagura frowned, peeking around the side of the vehicle.
The Princess was leaning out of the window, veil trailing in the breeze.
“Hello, my friends.” She Whispered causing the clamoring children to quiet down. “How have you been?”
“Good!” The tallest girl chirped. “Our carrots are ready to harvest!”
“That’s good to hear.” Ursula’s voice was soft.
“How is your sister?” A small boy asked.
Which one? Kagura wondered with a small snort.
“She is well, thank you.” Ursula retreated for a moment. “I must be going, my friends.” Her hand reached out again, holding a coin purse and a small sack. “Please tell your parents of my absence.”
“Ok.” The children chorused as the tall girl took the bags.
“Please be safe, miss!” A few of them rushed to say.
“You as well.” Ursula gave them a parting wave. Leo tapped the carriage roof twice and they were off once more.
Kagura kept her eyes on the slumfolk as they made their way out and found herself smiling as they waved toward them.
Once they reached the slum limits the carriage paused to let Kagura and Kavan hop on their rear guard perches and then they were off. They moved at a fast clip over the merchant roads and Kagura marveled at the smoothness of their ride.
Time seemed to pass more slowly than usual. As Kagura scanned the horizon, she began to take more notice of the wild flowers that dotted their way.
About midday they stopped by a river to give the horses a break. Kagura and Shin busied themselves by unhooking the horses. By the time they had finished watering and feeding the animals they returned to the carriage to find Leo in the depths of storytelling.
“- and Kagura, she’s super scary sometimes, looked him right in the eye and told him to f- um… I mean, flick off! So he got mad, like super mad, and went to punch her so I-!” Leo was rocking back and forth on his perch, grinning like a loon.
“Leo!” Kagura yelped. “Are you telling her Highness about a bar brawl?!”
“She asked about what we do!” He grinned down at her.
“So tell her about one of our missions! Don’t tell her about punching out some ass-,” she stopped herself, “ahem, uncouth civilian. You’re making us out to be crooks!”
“There is no need to worry, Ms. Ohm.” Kagura flushed when her eyes met the Princess’s own through her veil. “It is refreshing. I do think the man deserved whatever he got.”
“A header through the table?” Shin whispered as they passed behind Kagura.
She bit her tongue to stop the snort trying to punch through her. Kavan, of course, did nothing to stop his own.
The two finished hooking the horse back in, but as they moved to return to their places Kavan suddenly let out a short, shrill whistle.
Danger.
Kagura froze and let her aura explode out from her. The energy traced through every nook and cranny of the space, stretching out wider and wider as she scanned.
When the taste of metal flooded her mouth she snapped back into her own head.
“Thirty!” She yelled and gripped her seat as Shin leapt to their chair. A snap of the reins sent them forward at a full gallop.
“Cover!” Kavan roared and Shin ran them through the brush and into the treeline.
Kagura heard Leo yelp and watched an arrow sail past him.
“Switch!” Kagura cried and reached up to grab the hand Leo was holding down to her. She clambered up to the roof and guided Leo down safely before nocking her bow.
She crouched on the roof of the carriage and looked back at the way she had sensed their pursuers. Black shapes rocketed toward them across the field, much faster than they should have been able to move.
“Mages incoming!” She felt her energy pool into her fingers as she pulled back her first arrow. Purple magic zipped along the wood just in time for her to loose it. The arrow flew true and speared one of the shapes right through. She watched with satisfaction as it toppled to the ground. “Twenty nine!”
“Shin!” Kavan was suddenly beside her. “We need to stand our ground!”
“Yes, sir!” They called and let out a cough before letting the reins go. They stomped down on the release mechanism and watched the horses leave them behind for a moment before turning.
“Ooooo! This is just what I needed!” Leo growled, his voice incredibly lower than it had been before. Kagura refocused in time to see him launch off of the guard perch, his blade already glowing.
“Damn it, Leo!” Shin jumped from the carriage. They flung off their cloak to reveal the contract marks all over their body. As they pressed their hand to one on their shoulder Kagura dropped down into the carriage.
“Your Highness, I need you to listen to me.” She moved to watch through the window closest to the action. “If they enter the carriage, please entrust me to defend us.”
“I cannot promise that, Ms. Ohm.” Kagura turned in time to see the Princess loosen her belts.
“U-uh! What-?” She flustered until she saw the hardened leather armor beneath the silken robes. On her hips gleamed two blackened silver daggers.
“I am not as delicate as I have led you to believe.” Ursula tugged away her veil and the wig she wore along with it. Her hair underneath was silky, black and twisted into a crown braid. Her blood red eyes, the trait that every single thirteenth child shared, seemed to stare right through her.
Kagura cleared her throat. “Good.”
The two women stepped out of the carriage and straight into the throws of the battle around them.
Kagura lost herself to the violence. She watched Shin launch their elemental magics as she stabbed their enemies with poison tipped arrows. She saw Leo cackle in the crazed manner of berserkers as she slammed her bow into weak points. She witnessed Kavan throw their enemies clear through the air, ducking underneath some to loose arrows at others.
The person that held her attention the most, though, was her Highness.
Ursula whipped her way through the battlefield, blood splattering over her armor, as the daggers in her hands ended the lives of those that sought to kill her.
Soon, there was no one left to fight, bodies piled on the ground around them.
Kagura let out a sigh and winced when her ribs protested. Probably bruised.
“Thank you.” Ursula murmured as they all collected themselves. “I apologize for any injuries you have sustained protecting me.”
“Ha!” Leo laughed as he collapsed on the ground, beckoning Kagura over to look at his dislocated shoulder. “There’s no need for such formal language anymore, your Highness! We’re siblings in arms now!”
Ursula’s eyes widened. “Wh-what?”
“He’s right.” Shin glanced over at her from where they were staunching Kavan’s bleeding forehead wound. “We are your guards now, your Highness. We will fight alongside you until our contract ends. That is the promise we made.”
“I…” Ursula stumbled over her words for a moment. Her red eyes darted around to each of them. “Thank you.”
“No worries.” Leo waved his hand. “We welcome you.”
Kagura took that moment to set his shoulder back into place. She smiled when his high pitched squeak caused a shy, little smile to crawl across Ursula’s face.
She had a good feeling about this.

Venus and Hamato Family Story: Cherished Little Treasure
This was a gift fic by @fanfic-inator795 . After the events of “Many Unhappy Returns”, the Hamato Family are introduced to the Turtles’ little miracle. Little Sister Venus x Sibling/Family AU combined.
Venus might have been quite the little surprise - not just for her aunts and uncles, but supposedly for her father and brothers as well.
After the Shredder had been taken care of for the moment, they had left for Japan to pick up a few things before returning - Saki didn’t trust Big Mama whatsoever, and while his siblings agreed with that, they also just wanted an excuse to spend more time with their brother and nephews.
After not seeing Yoshi- Lou- Splinter for so long, could anyone really blame them? Aimi certainly couldn’t, she had been eager to get back as well (even if taking a break from the sewer smells was admittedly nice...).
However, when they returned to New York City just a few weeks later, they discovered not just Splinter and their nephews… but a baby niece as well. To say their family had been a bit, well… shell-shocked at the sudden appearance of the little turtle girl was an understatement, to say the least.
“Iiiiit’s kind of a long, sort of sad story,” Splinter had half-heartedly explained when first asked, “But let’s not worry about that now! Let us focus on the present… and my wittle Venus~” He then nuzzled her scaly cheek, and Baby Venus squeaked and smiled a little at the fur that tickled her.
“Well, I don’t see anything wrong with that,” Aimi said softly. Frankly, she didn’t need an explanation. If the mutant members of her family were happy, then so was she - and she was definitely happy when she was given permission to hold and hug her new granddaughter.
So, not having much of a choice, the rest of the Hamato Clan settled back into the atrium, each of them taking their turn in meeting little Venus De Milo Hamato-Jitsu.
“Not that it isn’t a lovely name, but why Venus?” Nori asked as she gently rocked the little Indian tent-turtle in her arms.
“Well, her brothers are all named after artists,” Splinter began to explain, “So, I thought why not name her after a piece of art? Keep it going with the theme and all.”
“And it’s a good thing he came up with that idea instead,” Leo spoke up, giving his pop a sly smirk, “When she first hatched, he thought about naming her Eggy.”
Splinter scowled, swatting a tail at his blue-masked son, who just laughed. “I was still trying to think of names! Sometimes it just takes me a bit to think of one, that’s all!”
“Is that why you still call us by our colors most of the time?”
“Hey, you try and keep track of four different names while trying to keep up with all of you!”
Nori chuckled, and looked back down at her niece. Venus was staring up at her with curious brown eyes. “You have a very silly papa, Ven-chan,” Nori told her, gently petting the side of the turtle’s tiny head with her thumb, “But he and your brothers still love you very much, and so do we.”
Venus just yawned, and snuggled up to her auntie’s chest. “Awww…” Nori began to hum an old lullaby she had remembered her mother singing to her as she continued to rock the baby turtle to sleep…

“I just can’t believe how small she is~!”
“It makes sense. She’s a baby. Babies are small.” Mei reached out, poking Venus’ cheek. Venus pouted a bit at that, moving her face away. “And squishy. Squishier than I thought a turtle would be.”
“Stop that, Mei,” Hiroki scolded, “You’re going to make her cry!” Thankfully, the scowl didn’t stay on her face too long, especially not when Venus began to coo and babble. “Ugh, I just LOVE her! We are definitely going to have to get her some proper close though.” Splinter hadn’t even bothered making his sons wear clothes most of the time, just belts and masks. “We’ll have to get her some dresses and yukatas, and especially a kimono! She can wear it for her 100 day ceremony! And maybe some more ribbons and hats-”
“And a set of kunai,” Mei stated, “Maybe some shuriken too.” When her older sister gave her another look, Mei simply said, “What? She may be a baby now, but she’ll have to train eventually like we all had to - and if she’s anything like her brothers, she’ll want to train anyway once she sees her father in his movies.” Not that she would be able to look down on her - or any of her nephews - for that. Lou was pretty cool back in the day, after all. “We might as well help her get a head start.”
“Why don’t we save knives for her seventh birthday, alright?” Hiroki suggested, “And in the meantime, we can dress her up like a little princess! You would like that, wouldn’t you Venus?” Venus blinked, mumbling to herself as she sucked on her hand. She then looked past her aunts at her uncle, who despite staring at her still hadn’t tried any closer. Tilting her head slightly, she gave a small shout, hand still halfway in her mouth.
“Oh! Uh, hello,” Hikari nodded, giving her a small wave. He had to agree with his twin somewhat, Venus was pretty cute. Even if she was a baby turtle… Frankly, he was still trying to get used to teenage turtles, along with all the other strange creatures and yokai he had encountered lately.
Venus called out again, bringing Hikari out of his thoughts. “Yes, hello, I see you,” he said, waving again. But Venus just continued to make small shouts, waving her arm at him. Just what did she want?
Hiroki rolled her eyes at her brother. “She wants you to play with her - like this!” In one swift motion, she swooped her niece up and began tickling her tummy. ...Though, when she realized that wouldn’t exactly work on a turtle, she moved her hand to Venus’ tiny foot. That definitely did the trick, making Venus squeal and squirm with giggles. “See! She likes playing! Now you try!”
“Er…” Hikari moved a bit closer, feeling nervous. He had interacted with babies before, he knew they were typically harmless. But with Venus still being part animal, he couldn’t help but worry about her potentially biting him if she didn’t like him for whatever reason.
So instead of getting his hands near her, Hikari instead stuck his tongue out at her, crossing his eyes a bit. He tried making other silly faces too, and even threw a bit of peek-a-boo in there, covering his face occasionally in-between changing expressions.
“...Wow. And you all say I am the weird one in the family,” Mei dryly commented while Hiroki tried her hardest not to cringe at her twin. But just then, Venus started to laugh again - even clapping her hands a couple times before trying to mimic her uncle’s silly faces.
Hikari smiled a little at that. “I guess you like me after all, huh? “GA!” “Heh, thank you, little one…”

“-and our clan had been able to save several villages and many people that day, with your great, great, great grandmother leading us to victory! Of course, that is just one of our family’s many stories. There was another time, a little later on, when-”
“Uncle Kenji?”
Kenji smiled as he looked over his shoulder. “Hello Raphael. Did you or your father need something?” Last he heard, Splinter was taking a well deserved nap after little Venus had been up all night, and Kenji had volunteered to take the day shift, wanting to have some bonding time with her before Nori or Hiroki could swoop in and snatch her up again.
Raph shook his head as he walked around to sit beside his uncle and sister on the couch. “Nah, just seein’ what you guys were doin’.”
Recognizing her oldest brother immediately, Venus smiled at him, making excited churs and shouts. Raph practically beamed at that. “She’s so cute~!”
“Heh, she certainly is,” Kenji agreed, adjusting his hold on her so she could see her brother better.
“...Do you remember what it was like when my dad was a baby?” Raph asked after a moment, fidgeting with his hands a little, “Like… do you remember what it was like being a big brother to someone who was so much younger than you?”
“Well, my brother is only three years younger than me,” Kenji explained, “Given that I was only a toddler when Yo- Splinter was born, I don’t remember our earliest years together too well, only the times after that. However, I do remember what it was like when the twins and Mei were born, so I do have some experience with babies.”
“Ah, right…” When his nephew glanced away, Kenji gave him a curious look.
“Is there anything else you would like to ask? Or anything you would like to say?”
“Well…” Venus began to babble again, and Raph held his hand out to her. He smiled a little as Venus tugged and squeezed his fingers, but he also couldn’t help but wince a little at the fact that his hand was twice the size of her head.
“...You know I love Venus, right? A-And I love havin’ her around but… I’m not used to bein’ a big brother to someone who isn’t just a year or two younger than me…” He frowned, using his other arm to sort of hug his midsection. “What if I accidentally hurt her? Or she ends up hatin’ me when she gets older? Or-” Raph stopped when he felt Kenji put a firm hand on his shoulder.
“Raphael, I can promise that she will not ever hate you,” Kenji told him, “You are just as kind to her as you are to your brothers, she could never hate someone with a heart like that. And as for hurting her… Yes, I can understand the worry. She is quite small, and a bit fragile, but you are also gentle and careful. You haven’t hurt her yet, right?”
“Well, no but- hey!”
Taking the distraction opportunity, Kenji quickly moved Venus out of his lap and into Raph’s. The snapper froze for a moment, instincts taking over as he tried to give Venus proper support so she didn’t fall or hurt herself. Venus whined a bit at the sudden activity, though luckily it didn’t take her long to get comfy again. Parts of her big brother might’ve been spiky, but that didn’t stop other parts of him from being soft.
“...” Raph sighed a bit, relaxing ever so slightly.
“See? You are doing great!” Kenji said as he patted him on the shell, “Sometimes the best way to gain some confidence around babies is to just get comfortable holding them, and to let them get comfortable around you.”
Raph smiled a little as Venus snuggled deeper into his arms. “Heh, I think she’s already got the comfortable part down.”
Kenji chuckled. “I suppose so. ...Say, did I ever tell you about the time Splinter and I tried exploring the forests near our home? We had been hoping to find ghosts, or perhaps an abandoned magic sword.”
Already curious and being a huge fan of his uncle’s stories, Raph sat back as he and his little sis listened to Kenji’s tales.

Venus hadn’t seen this much activity in her home since her aunts, uncles and granny first came to visit them. Everyone was moving around, setting up various decorations, tables and more.
“Man, how come we never got a fancy 100 day meal-ceremony?” she heard Big Blue mumble as he and Big Purple cleaned the last of the tv room’s space.
“Because back then, I’d be lucky enough to just find food for us for the day, let alone things like mochi, tai and sekihan,” Daddy explained, “Though, for the record, I still considered it a miracle when the four of you survived 100 days.”
Looking over to the coffee table that had been set up in front of her Daddy’s chair, Auntie Nori and Granny were setting up fancy dishes in red and white bowls. Venus still didn’t quite understand why - if they were hungry, why didn’t they just drink milk like she did? What was so great about this food stuff anyway?
Just another mystery for her baby mind… like the outfit they had made her wear for this supposedly special day. Venus gave a small huff as she tugged at her kimono again. The fabric was pretty and soft, but she didn’t like how constricting it felt around her shell and arms. It was like a blankie, but she couldn’t just throw it off whenever she felt like it. So annoying…
Though, speaking of annoyed- A slight grumble brought her attention to the tv room’s entrance, where her grumpiest uncle stood. However, his scowls and glares didn’t bother Venus in the slightest compared to how they bothered everyone else in her family, and when Saki began walking away, she rolled herself onto her hands and knees and began following him, not caring if she was getting her kimono dirty.
“A complete waste of time,” Saki huffed. 100 day meals were traditional, yes, but the infant receiving this one was anything but ‘traditional’ and normal! And even if she was, Saki still considered it a waste of time. If he had things his way, he’d be training in the garage/dojo, but Donnie had locked it up tight along with his lab, following his father’s orders that no work would be done that day, only celebration.
Saki had briefly thought about breaking the lock, but he wasn’t in the mood to deal with his siblings complaining about it. Maybe he would just go on a walk around the city instead. By the time he got back, the meal would be over, and at least he would be doing something produc-
“Ah!” He felt a tiny hand pull at his pant leg.
Looking down, Saki saw that it was the tiny Guest of Honor herself. Scoffing, Saki stepped away from her, but Venus just crawled forward, tugging on his pants again. “Ugh…” No baby that young should be crawling already. The logical part of his mind reasoned that it made sense - she was a turtle, moving on all fours was natural even at a little over three months. But the more stubborn part of him chalked it up as yet another thing that made her an abomination, a mutant that shouldn’t exist, no matter how seemingly cute and ‘innocent’ she may have been.
Whether she was unaware of her uncle’s feelings towards her or simply didn’t care, it didn’t matter. Venus just smiled and stretched her arms up, making grabbing motions as she gave small shouts.
“No,” Saki said firmly. Venus didn’t stop. “I said no.” Venus didn’t stop. “I don’t like mutants!” The turtle-girl remained undeterred. “Ugh…” Knowing that she would just continue to follow him if he tried to walk away again, Saki reluctantly picked her up. “There, now understand that while we may technically be family, you are still a yokai creature and therefore-!”
Venus smiled up at him, giving a small giggle as she reached up towards his face. Saki braced himself for her to start smacking and pulling, and was more than ready to start yelling at her for it. However, surprisingly, Venus was gentle. She lightly touched and squished her uncle’s cheeks before moving down to his beard - a feature that, while darker and shorter than her father’s, still reminded her of him - cooing all the while.
“...” Saki remained stoic, even if internally he felt a bit awkward having this baby turtle touch his face.
Once she was satisfied, Venus snuggled into her uncle’s arms, resting her head on his broad shoulder. “...I still don’t like you,” he told her, even as his hand instinctively began stroking her back just as he had done with his own child when they were an infant.
“Oh Venus! Sweetie, where did you-?” Splinter emerged from the tv room, and blinked when he saw his brother. “Saki? You’re-”
Immediately, Saki moved Venus from his arms to her father’s. With a slight sneer, he told him, “You should teach your daughter not to bother others,” though his tone didn’t have quite as much bite as it usually did. He then walked away towards one of their home’s exit tubes, not once bothering to look back at them.
“...” Venus stared at her uncle before looking at her father for answers, cooing curiously.
Splinter just sighed, giving her a small kiss on the forehead. “Come on, little one. There are plenty of other people who wish to celebrate your life.” With that, he took Venus back inside.
She was placed in front of the fancy food, and while she was still much too young to eat it herself, the meaning and symbolism behind the dishes still rang true for her family as they ate it along with the other foods Mikey had prepared. “Pizza and hot soup are both very important parts of this fam,” he had insisted, “They should be part of EVERY celebration.”
“A new type of tradition,” Splinter nodded, lifting a cup of tea to his second-youngest and his culinary efforts.
Seeing this, Venus tried to do the same, raising her bottle with a small cheer. Her family laughed and smiled, and Venus smiled back. Maybe she didn’t always understand her aunts or uncles, or even her father, brothers and April at times, but she still knew how much they loved and cared about her. And really, that was all she needed.

Supernova 16
Bad news, I didn’t get any writing done!
Good news, I’m halfway through 16! Let the good times keep rolling... until I run out. Then I’m in trouble.
Anyway, life sucks. I am a bad caregiver and an even worse student of the arts. All I want to do is sleep, but there are pants that need washing and cans that need cleaning. Please let me sleep...
Good news though, I finished editing my other novel. Now it’s time to let my readers read it to tell me what I did wrong and the countless things that need fixing. Can’t you tell I’m thrilled?
...
Right. Anyway, next chapter goes up February 6. I’m going to go sit down until I have to get dinner ready. Then I gotta get laundry ready... and then I can do my homework. This is why I don’t want kids.
Thanks for reading, see you in two weeks!
“I already told you, you're not getting my damn helmet off.”
“But you might have-”
“If a psychic doesn't know their own brain, we got bigger problems. It’s staying on.”
It was bad enough that they'd made him take his damn clothes off.  Angel had done his best, but cracked ribs were cracked ribs that needed x-rays. Among other things, that had meant shrugging out of his binder. It had been made easier by the fact the damn thing ripped in two when he tried to shuffle it off.
Guess he'd need another one... good thing he had all that overtime from working with Andy.
“I'll come in with the form stating you turned down an MRI.” there was a chill to the tech’s – nurse? Fuck if he knew right then – voice as they turned to leave the room. “Don't try to move, we still need to suture your wounds.”
Yeah, he had a lovely case of road rash that was going to need some serious antibiotic lotion, and his back was kind of fucked up. He had seen it in the mirror – looked kind of burned to him. No doubt it was going to leave some kind of nasty scar when it finished healing. Oh well, it was where nobody would see it.
Unlike his old facial ones. Pro-tip for young heroes: wear a mask before learning to fly. Birds are nasty.
“God, it's good to hear you snark at somebody.”
A comfortingly annoying voice buzzed in his ear. Scanner's link was open still, had been when the nurse had come in with the crazy idea of getting his helmet off. They had been going over the footage while waiting to hear about Ember and PT. From the sounds of things, everyone was going to make a full recovery. That was the important part, though if it took too long they might need outside help.
God, he hoped it wasn’t going to come to that. The Toledo Union was asshole city, and don't even get him started on Pittsburgh... he may not have liked football, but tossing them a 'go birds' just to make them froth at the mouth was worth it.
“Good to be able to do it.” He adjusted his helmet. “So, what's the damage?”
Keys clicked in his ear. “PT's got a nasty concussion, but that's nothing new for her. Don't know if she'll make it to the synagogue this weekend, but I think her rabbi will understand. Ember's completely lucid, so whatever Blasto did to her wore off. They're still doing a brain scan anyway, though. Apparently, they can do those with disguises on now.”
There was a note of teasing to the tech's voice that made Angel roll his eyes as he leaned back in the hospital bed, waiting for someone to tell him when he could go the fuck home. No doubt the attack was all over the news now, even at the late hour. How could it not, when one of their own had turned on them and nearly gotten half the city killed?
Maybe that was why he hadn't pulled his punches with that rock. Asshole.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. A cloth one's a little different from my setup.” He sighed in relief at the report. “Well, that means we'll only be down two. I'm no HR expert, but I think Richter's fired.”
He should've been on fire, but that was a different matter entirely. Oh well, once Ember and PT were better, they could handle that. He hadn't been around much anyway, so him going to jail for being an asshole – and you know, threatening to kill a bunch of people and almost getting away with it – didn't cramp their style too badly.
At least the overtime would pay for his GRE scores. He really needed to get his math percentile up if he wanted a shot at grad school.
“That's putting it mildly.” Scanner's tone shifted. Maybe it was the exhaustion talking, but they sounded softer the next time they spoke. “By the way, I appreciated the jerk ex comment but let's keep it on the DL around Andy. She doesn't need to know.”
Angel nodded – oww, big mistake. He might not have a concussion, but the overuse of his powers had given him one hell of a headache.  That was enough to make him close his eyes as he bumped the back of his dirty helmet against the bed frame.
“Mum's the word, Scan.” He frowned. “Where is she anyway?”
There was a pause in the typing. Scanner didn't say anything for a good couple minutes, causing Angel's blood to run cold. Despite his pounding headache and the sudden urge to throw up, he sat straight up in his temporary bed.
“Scanner, where is Andy?”
“Paladin's got her in one of those rooms they use to tell people their grandma didn't make it. The FBI's en route now to pick her up.”
His feet hit the floor – oww. “Damn it, Scan, give me a location. We can't let them get her!”
Images flashed through his mind, stolen from the psychic he had thrown down with days prior. His imagination ran wild with it, showing off steel tables and knives sharp enough to cut through rocky surfaces. It made his stomach churn as his battered brain tried to come up with a way out.
“I'm two blocks from the hospital now. Paladin asked me to bring the book.”
Angel stopped moving. Time stopped too. The only thing that convinced him that the universe was still spinning was that his heart was beating. He was alive, but right then the only thing he could focus on was the thought of the book.
“You're serious?”
“Sounds like it's our only option. She's on the third floor and we need a witness so get there ASAP.”
ASAP was a little hard when he was under observation, but Angel didn't care. He made a grab for his pants, head spinning as he pulled them on over his hospital gown. At least he wasn't attached to an IV as he booked it out of the room, a nurse yelling in the background.
If Scanner was bringing the Book, it was as serious as he thought.
---
Though it was her first time in the hospital, Andy already knew she didn't like them very much.
“You've caused quite a stir on Twitter. People already like you.”
Uncle Leo was in the chair next to her, absent-mindedly scrolling his phone. The case was covered in pictures of his family – a present for his last birthday. With his brain he didn't need it, but it wasn't like they had ever really covered how much they knew about his pre-cancer days. It had never really been her business to question what they knew about him anyway.
Normally, Andy would have been dying to get a glance at the internet, especially if nobody was going to be monitoring her. But she stayed there in her chair, flexing her fists back and forth. She could still feel the power radiating from her core, making the air shimmer. At least she wasn't giving off heat, though – that might've made the old man uncomfortable.
She had done it.
“Mom's not coming, is she?”
Honestly, the alien wasn't sure why she was even asking. Once her mother made up her mind, she didn't change it. Their final words had probably been just that, especially after Twitter had gotten a hold of it. If the internet knew about her, that probably broke just about every rule they had set for her from the time she had first emerged.
Leo's eyebrows knitted as he put his phone aside. His warm hand found hers, squeezing gently more so he didn't break anything. For humans, that was probably a comforting gesture. Thanks to the lack of skin, it didn't really do much for her, but it was the thought that counted in the end.
“I tried to call her... she hung up on me.” He frowned. “I'm sorry, but I think she meant it.”
How was she supposed to feel during a moment like this?
“Andy?”
She supposed she should have been upset really. After all, her mother had finally broken and abandoned her like she had always threatened to when things got difficult. In a way, it was amazing she had stuck it out for almost 21 years. Had she had money to put on it, Andy would've bet after the divorce for sure. In a way, she was surprised she had lasted so long.  Could you congratulate a parent for not giving up on you until you were over 20?
So… maybe she wasn’t all that upset when it came to her case. Really, she was worried about the ones she had left behind. After all, Amanda was going to take it out on someone eventually. Her oldest sister was the prime target for sure, but Jen was still just a few doors down. That thought made her core bubble up as she sat there, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
It wasn’t that either, though…
Despite everything... Andy had to admit her biggest feeling was that of relief. Threats of turning her over to the lab – or worse – for bad behavior no longer hung over her head. If Amanda was washing her hands of her, then in a way she was free. Of course, that kind of made her property of the federal government... but that wasn't the first time either. Now that she was bigger, maybe she could go toe to toe with them if they tried anything funny.
Or hell, they might just turn her over to Sakamoto. She could handle her.
“Are you alright?”
Uncle Leo's words brought Andy back down to earth. She wasn't sure how long she had been out, but the man looked concerned. She shook her head, more for his benefit than her own, and shrugged her spiky shoulders in the universal sign of 'beats the hell out of me' before sitting back.
“I mean... everyone's ok, right?” She shrugged again, as if it would tease more emotions out of her molten core. “And I managed to get two shots off. I guess I can be happy about that?”
The psychic nodded. “But you're worried. I can't say I blame you. You did the right thing... though the FBI might disagree.”
Had she been human, this was where Andy would have snorted. “That's putting it mildly. I bet they’re on their way to get the custody pissing match started.”
With her... she supposed ex-mother? Out of the way, that left the feds and the lab. Talk about ugly – she would've winced at the thought if she was capable of doing it. While they whipped it out and measured, she was left in limbo. Luckily for her, that was nothing new either. Being an alien made her all kinds of flexible.
Bear Paw or... wherever the FBI wanted to keep her. She had so many lovely options.
“About that...” There was a light in the man's eyes. “You know, you did a good job out there. A little rough, but... you have promise. And we're down a man now that Richter is going to be doing hard time.”
Andy's head picked up. “Wait... you're not serious, are you?”
Leo smiled, and for a brief moment she saw someone who had long since retired to old newsreels and still pictures archived in the annals of history. It made her sit up a little straighter in her seat as her core began to bubble with what could only have been anticipation.
“We both know it was going to come down to this eventually, Andromeda.” Another smile. He never used her full name. “You're too much like Cassiopeia, including hating when I use your entire name.”
Her core bubbled again. “Can you even do that? I mean... I'm not human. Isn’t that the basic requirement of joining up?”
“It wasn't when we had Nova. Besides, who’s going to know if we don’t tell them?”
Right... she forgot sometimes about that sometimes. If Nova had hidden it… maybe she could too.
Before Andy could answer, someone knocked on the door. Leo stood to cross the room and opened it without a sound. On the other side stood Scanner, breathing hard as if they had wheeled at top speeds to get there. In their lap was a large book, bound in dark leather that gave it the feel of an ancient tome. This they handed off to her quasi uncle as they wheeled to the side, finally putting on the breaks.
“We better hurry, I blocked the elevator on some assholes in suits as I got up here.” They looked towards the window. “Is that SR?”
The psychic appeared as well, still wearing a hospital gown and motorcycle helmet. He slid in behind Scanner – at least he was wearing pants under his gown. At least he nodded to the room as he made no excuses for his weird attire.
“I'm with Scan, they're gonna be on my ass for breaking out soon.”
Leo shook his head, but he was smiling. “Not exactly what I expected for the two witnesses, but you're right. Time is of the essence. Even Scanner cannot stop an elevator forever.”
Andy felt the air in the room shift as the attention turned to her. This was probably where humans would have swallowed past anxiety or felt their hearts pound in anticipation. All she had was the bubbling of her core as she stood, dwarfing the room.
Her uncle was wrong, of course. She had never expected this day to come, not even in her wildest dreams or in the faded time before she was truly conscious of her situation. Yet the fact it was actually there still pressed down heavily as the man approached her, book in hand.
She had seen it once when she was a small child, though she forgot the circumstances of the visit that had caused it. It was a heavy looking book, bound with the Union's logo. Normally, it was kept at the base, given what was written inside.
After all... you kinda needed to keep the record of secret identities, well, a secret. It was probably the only book she could think of that didn’t have a digital copy. Sometimes, it was good to be analog.
And now it was her time to join them.
“Andromeda Nobel.” The old man’s voice had more energy in it than she had heard since his diagnosis. He held out the book and walked to an empty space in the room. She met him halfway, placing her hand on the cover like she had seen others do on TV. Maybe if they hadn't been rushing to beat the FBI, they would've done it too. Oh well, she had started this at 3 AM so maybe it was apt. “Do you swear to protect the people of Bear Paw?”
“I do.”
Outside, she could hear the elevator dinging. The agents were coming – they had a lock on the room. The door rattled violently, but Sky Rider's visor glowed as he held it firm. Someone was pounding on the wood now.
Leo remained unflapped. “Do you swear to use your powers for good and never evil?”
The words came from her mouth without thinking. “I do.”
“And no matter what, do you promise to uphold the ideals of heroism, bravery, and service both in and out of your secret identity?”
Andy didn't even need to think of this one. She nodded, almost knocking her chin to her chest. “I do.”
The rattling was getting stronger now. Sweat was starting to drip from under Sky Rider's helmet as he held the lock as hard as he could. Even Scanner was gearing up now, a glowing drone appearing to reinforce the fragile joints that kept the door to the wall. Both of them were giving it their all, even though one of them was still technically a patient.
Clearly, doing dumb shit was a point of pride here. If that wasn’t a sign she’d fit in, Andy didn’t know what was.
Leo's voice was stronger now. “Then, given the current leader is going through a medical workup, I use my power as the retired head of the Bear Paw Union to officially swear you in. You will now take up the mask and title to protect the city...”
His voice faltered. “We can add the superhero name later, unless you figured one out on the way over.”
Got one? Of course she had one. Andy had held it ever since she had first felt the power in her hands. Maybe it was a little cliché, but it felt right to her as she nodded towards the old man. She removed her hand, clenching her fist as she did.
“Call me Supernova.”
After all, she was Nova's kid in a roundabout way. If anyone got to mess with the title, she had the right.
“Supernova, eh? Never expected you to be one for a succession title, but I can't say it doesn't fit.” He smiled, and there was something wistful there as he nodded. “Then, welcome to the Union, Supernova. Serve it well.”
The door slammed open and Sky Rider was knocked on his ass as two agents in dark suits appeared in the room. As the psychic on the floor groaned at his bruised ass and ego combo, they entered, gunning for her.
Well… apparently it was time to test if the Union’s rule about active duty kept her from getting taken in. Talk about having one hell of a proving ground.

Hades and Persephone au..kinda.
I started this yesterday and don't know how where this is going, it's technically not a Hades and Persephone au, but you could take it that way, anyway this is a mess.
-----------
The underworld is cold. The gods there even colder. Hazel was no different. She stayed away from people that weren't her family and preferred to stay in the underworld unless something important called for her to leave. Her older brother was a little different. Nico left the underworld a few times. On one of those times, he met Will. A minor god, but a good one. When Nico introduced her to Will, she felt a little jealous and lonely. It wasn't until her brother got a boyfriend did she realize how many gods had lovers. Weather it was marriage or just dating, they all had someone.
Her brother assured her there was rush or pressure to find someone to call her own. Even though it was true, Hazel still felt lonely. Hazel didn't assume that it was a lover she needed. At first she just assumed she need to go out more. Just see something that was the underworld for a bit. When she first went out she enjoyed it. For a few moments, Hazel didn't feel empty and alone. She thought that was it. After a while, it wasn't enough. She enjoyed it, but the feeling had come again.
Then she tried art. It was just as fun. Hazel had gotten pretty good at it too. Sadly, just like her adventuring. It still wasn't enough. She felt empty again. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy painting. She loved it! Yet the feeling of emptiness still filled her heart. Hazel was at a lost. If these things made her happy, why was she still not completely happy. Hazel just couldn't wrap her head around it.
It wasn't until the next meeting between the gods did she really bring it up. After the important things were dealt with they seemed to venture off into different topics. “Soo,” Percy grinned looking at Hazel. “What?” Hazel looked back at her friend with confusion. “Have you found someone yet?” Percy asked. Before Hazel could answer, Nico answered for her. “She's..trying other things out first.” Hazel nodded. “I mean I don't want to start and not be able to handle that's all, and I'm currently the most undateable person.”
Everyone looked at Hazel in shook. “Hazel, you are extremely datable!” Piper said. “You just have to look first!” Leo added on. “Figure out what you like and what you don't like in a person first!” Piper said. “I can help you if you want.” Hazel shook her head nervously. “You don't have to do that.” Piper shrugged. “I'm going to do it anyway!”
Hazel huffed out. “Alright fine, you aren't going to find anyone. No one wants to date a goddess of the underworld.” Nico frowned. “Don't say that Hazel, I'm sure you'll find someone who likes you.” Everyone else nodded in agreement. “You think so..” Hazel blushed slightly then cleared her throat. “A-anyway, the meeting is over.” Hazel waved her hand in her face to cool herself off.
“Great, that means I can help you find a lover!” Piper shot up from her seat excitedly. Hazel looked over at her nervously. “Please not today..” Hazel was far from ready to handle that stress just yet. “Maybe next week, but not now.” Piper squinted. “Alright, but you aren't getting out of this.” Hazel chuckled before leaving the meeting room.
---------
Hazel continued her schedule as she normally did after meetings. She would walk on the more empty parts of the underworld. Normal it was just to relax or enjoy the peace. Like the recent events in her life, it had gone wrong. Hazel looked up only to see something rushing to the ground. She squinted. “Is that a rock?” The longer Hazel looked the more she realized it was something more alive. Hazel ran towards the object. Whatever it was, was very alive and was clearly not supposed to be here.
Hazel stopped and reached out her arms to catch whatever had been falling. The force knocked her to her feet. Hazel was dazed for a few seconds. She looked down. Oh no. It was a nymph. Hazel slipped from under the girl. Hazel picked the other girl up. The girl was light and short. Hazel quickly made her way back to the palace. Hazel rushed into the palace and entered her room laying the smaller girl on her bed.
Hazel quickly turned on the fountain in her room. She let it run until it formed a rainbow. Hazel formed a diamond and threw it into the fountain. “Almighty Iris show me Will!” Hazel watched as her brother and his boyfriend shimmered and formed in the water. “Hazel is everything ok?” Will asked concerned. “No! This nymph fell into the underworld, and I don't know what to do!” Will quickly got up. “We're coming, don't let her leave the bed!” Nico watched as Will rushed to get all his things. “Are you sure she isn't already dead?” Nico asked. “I could sense it, I think she passed out when I caught her!”
“Nico, you can ask questions later!” Will shouted as he threw his satchel over his shoulders. “Right, we won't be long Hazel!” Nico reached over and swiped his hand across the mist ending the message. Hazel looked at the nymph on her bed. This wasn't good at all. There were so many questions that needed to be answer. How did she even find an opening to the underworld and not die, all the opening were in volcanos and there was no way she could've fallen through one of those and night die.
Hazel paced around her room nervously. Why did she care so much? Hazel didn't know the girl or what she was either. After paving for what felt like forever Will and Nico finally entered. “Where is she?” Will asked looking around the room. Hazel pointed at her bed. “Ok, good, I need to be alone. Carry on as normal, I'll have everything under control.”
Hazel saw no point in arguing with Will and left her room. Nico followed after his sister. “Hey, we have to see the Oracle soon anyway, maybe that'll take your mind off of everything.” Hazel nodded slowly and made her way down the corridor. The walk to the oracles room was relatively quiet. “What kind of prochey do you think you'll get?” Hazel sighed. “Hopefully a happy one.”
-----------
The visit to the oracle was hell for Hazel. Instead of some deep prophecy about getting betrayed or hurt emotionally, she got a love prophecy. The last thing she needed was being told her love life was going to be shaken up even more. Not wanting to bother her brother anymore she went to Frank.
Hazel laid across her best friend’s lap. “I don't get it!” Hazel said angrily. “Why would anyone be attracted to me and mean it!?” Frank shrugged. “Well despite what you may think, you aren't all that bad Hazel.” Frank noticed the confused look on Hazel's face. “Just because you're the princess of the underworld, doesn't mean you're undateable.”
“Well I should be! I'm the meanest and coldest goddess the underworld has ever seen!” Hazel huffed out and crossed her arms. Frank rolled his eyes. “Well, last I check mean and cold people don't save falling nymphs.” Hazel blushed. “That's different, I was doing my job! She isn't supposed to be here.” Hazel scoffed. “Even then, you're not as cold as you think.” Frank said. “Alright prove it!” Hazel said.
“Well for one, you have a bunch of friends and you're super nice. Hazel we've lost count of all the charities you hold for the mortals!” Frank said grinning. “Hazel, you literally made it part of your job to help Percy at the orphanage every week. Don't get my started about all the-” Hazel covered Frank's mouth. “I won't get you started, and even then. I'm just being nice Frank.” Frank rolled his eyes chuckling. “Yea sure Hazel.”
Will walked out into the courtyard. Hazel looked at Will's face. The blonde seemed happy. “She's doing fine, but it'd be best for me and her to stay down here so she can heal.” Will said. “Also she wanted to see you, to give you a proper thank you.” Hazel got up dusting off her toga. “Very well then.” Hazel walked inside the palace with Will leaving Frank alone in the courtyard.
Once Hazel opened the door she wasn't expecting such a nice smell to fill her nose. It was comforting, like she'd known it for years. It would've been fine if she'd actually known who was in her bed. What made it even more confusing was when the girl Hazel had saved had ran up to her and nearly tackled he'd to the floor in a hug.
“Hazel, it's been years!”

Ties of Blood -- Chapter 22
I know this is later than when I usually post chapters. I had been able to have my laptop out at work, but I’ve been needing to refocus back to that and less on the laptop. I still do plan on writing and updating as much as possible.
Warning: There is a brief moment in this chapter of suicide idealization.

Chapter 22
Aaliyah turned the car off and sat in the driver’s seat. Guilt had eaten away at her the whole drive back from Wyoming. Bobby had asked her to stay with the boys for a time, but she refused. It was bad enough she had to use the three day psych hold to keep her brother safe in the hospital. With a breath, Aaliyah worked her way out of the car and into the hospital. Her mind replayed what had happened at the cemetery yet again as it tried to figure out how she survived.
Aaliyah did her best to ignore the looks from those she passed in the halls on the way to her brother’s room. The trips between hospital and the cemetery in Wyoming hadn’t given her much time for a shower and change of clothing. She swore there was a lingering scent of sulfur from the amount of demons that escaped.
“I don’t care if there’s still twelve hours left,” Aaliyah heard from the elevator bay. “I want to be released.”
Aaliyah rolled her eyes as she followed the voice. She glanced around the corner to see a nurse at Xander’s bedside and their half siblings by the one window in the room. Nissa and Leo hadn’t noticed her arrival, and Aaliyah took the chance in walking into the room.
“Legally they can’t release you,” Aaliyah told her brother, startling all four. She smirked more to herself when Nissa let out a small yelp and Leo played it off like he had seen her the whole time. “Why’d you think I requested one and had our siblings come and visit you?”
“You trust me so little to stay here?” Xander shot back.
“I’m sorry,” the nurse cut in. “Who are you?”
“Aaliyah,” Aaliyah introduced herself, shifting her attention. “His younger sister. Has he been …”
“Much trouble?” The nurse’s eyebrows went up when she finished the sentience. “Very. He’s refused any sort of medication, barely ate what we brought him. Kept going on about seeing something called … reapers.”
“I swear I saw one,” Xander tossed in.
“Yeah, and I saw a demon walking into the lobby,” Aaliyah tossed back, half trying to defuse the tension. “Actually, I think that was a custodian come to think of it.”
“And we’ve seen wendigos out in the parking lot last night,” Leo added. “Seriously, big brother, you’re seeing things.”
Aaliyah turned her full attention to the nurse while her siblings bickered in a teasing tone that Aaliyah saw right through. It was better they did that than anything else. She gestured the nurse away from the bed. “Seriously, how bad is it?”
The nurse looked over the chart in her hands. “Whatever he went up against knocked him up pretty bad.” She pulled out a film and put it up against the light box. “They took this MRI the day he was admitted.” The light flicked on. “There’s minor fractures in his spine and the doctors suspect there was some sort of spinal injury that resulted in paralysis.”
Aaliyah moved in close and studied the MRI. A couple of the fractures didn’t look good, as if those could have been the result of Xander hitting the wall and causing the paralysis. “These two here,” she gestured to the two fractures. “Could they have caused the paralysis? If so, how quick will they heal and maybe he regaining some mobility?”
The nurse gave her a look that Aaliyah wasn’t sure how to interpret. It seemed to be a mix of mild surprise that Aaliyah was able to read the MRI well enough and posed questions that anyone in the medical field would. “Former nurse,” Aaliyah said. “I did some time in radiology in school.”
The nurse gave Aaliyah the nod that meant she really didn’t believe her, but accepted the answer. “It all really depends on Xander and how well his spine heals,” the nurse answered.
Aaliyah thanked the nurse and watched her take her leave of the room before turning back to her siblings.
“What the hell, Aaliyah?” Leo snapped. “You call asking us to come here and babysit?”
“Shit hit the fan bad, guys,” Aaliyah answered. “The yellow eyed demon managed to open a gate straight to hell, and a whole crap ton of demons got out.”
“So you decided to go deal with that instead of being here?” Leo questioned.
“I was asked to help two years ago, Leo,” Aaliyah countered as her cell starting ringing. “Things got rough. I didn’t plan on things getting this deep. The two of you need to keep a look out for any signs of demonic activity. It doesn’t matter how small, you take care of it.”
“And what about you?” Nissa asked as Aaliyah turned and headed for the door.
“I’m gonna answer this call.” Aaliyah fished the phone out of her pocket just as the ringing stopped. She worked her way down to the ground floor as her phone vibrated with a voicemail.
“Aaliyah, it’s Amanda,” the voicemail started. “It’s a good chance if you’re hearing this that I’m dead. Or dying. Not sure how often you check your voicemails. But, hey, it’s been nice knowing you.”
“Oh, hell you’re not,” Aaliyah said under her breath as she ended the voicemail and called Amanda. She started pacing in the lobby as Amanda’s cell rang. Aaliyah started to pull her cell from her head when the other end picked up.
“Hey, Aaliyah,” Amanda greeted, her voice unusually calm. “It’s been a while.”
“It’s been a couple years,” Aaliyah agreed. “Sorry I hadn’t called before now; just got your voicemail. What’s up?”
“Can you … come get my body? That wendigo really did a number on me.”
Aaliyah stopped pacing. “God. Amanda, I’m so sorry. You shoulda called for help on that one.”
“You were busy.” Amanda’s voice had gotten weaker. “Off saving the world.”
“Still working on that bit,” Aaliyah said. “Could use some help with it. We can talk about it more when I come get you.”
“I’ll text you where I’m at.”
The line went dead and Aaliyah started at the cell for a minute before a text came through. Her head tilted a little before she left the hospital. Something told her that she wouldn’t make it to Amanda before she died, but Aaliyah hoped she’d arrive before that happened anyway. She sent a text to her siblings and Bobby telling them that she was off to get Amanda; and to prepare for a possible Hunter’s Funeral.
***
Aaliyah swore to herself in frustration. Picking the lock was proving to be more difficult than she expected. She wondered how Amanda managed to get back to her motel room if she suffered bad wounds from a wendigo. The lock clicked open and Aaliyah eased the door into the room. Left over food littered the table and clothing was scattered across the room with one of the beds stripped of all the blankets and sheets.
“Amanda,” Aaliyah called out as she moved toward the bathroom. “Come on, I busted ass to get out here. Don’t you die on me now.” She stopped right before turning into the bathroom and closed her eyes, trying to brace herself for seeing her good friend dead on the floor. With a semi deep breath, Aaliyah opened her eyes and looked into the bathroom. In the tub laid Amanda wrapped in the bedding. Her breath caught in her throat.
“Aaliyah.” Her name was just above a whisper. “Wasn’t sure you’d make it.”
“Told you I’d come get you.” Aaliyah knelt down to the edge of the tub. “What about your wounds?” She dared to pull back the bedding to see a large gash across Amanda’s lower abdomen and part of her intestines spilling out.
“Pretty sure it’s infected.” Amanda made some sort of noise Aaliyah accepted as amusement. “I wouldn’t worry about fixing it, Aaliyah. We both know that I’m dead anyway.”
“What sorta nonsense is that, huh? I’ll get your guts back in and you stitched up in no time.”
Amanda rocked her head enough. “I’ve been fighting off death since I put myself in this tub. Hell, I’ve been seeing a reaper popping in once in a while.”
Aaliyah adjusted herself and sat on the floor and leaned in the corner made between the wall and tub wall. She didn’t say anything or do anything.
“Thanks for staying,” Amanda said after a while, her voice quiet. “I would have hated to die here alone and become an angered spirit.”
“You were one of my best friends,” Aaliyah said, getting an amused cough from Amanda. “Yeah, I know. But it’s true. I’m gonna miss you, Amanda.”
“Same … here. Give me a Hunter’s Funeral. Keep what I left in the room.”
Aaliyah shifted around to look Amanda in her eyes to see that little spark of life fade away. The bathroom grew cold, but she didn’t move. Either Amanda was there as a ghost or a reaper decided to visit to take Amanda. Aaliyah wiped away a tear before she collapsed back into the corner and cried. It wasn’t fair that her first friend had been killed by a wendigo. The one person that hadn’t judged Aaliyah when she first started digging after the werewolf on campus near three and a half years ago.
Aaliyah wasn’t sure when the tears finally stopped, or how long she was curled up in the corner with Amanda’s corpse in the tub behind her. She eased up to her feet and left the motel room, after a quick search for the key. There were things to do before night fell, and she was on her own.
***
Several hours passed before Aaliyah found a place out in the woods of upstate New York. Armed with an axe she bought from one of the hardware stores in town and a few six packs, Aaliyah worked until nightfall on a pyre. She helped the boys with the pyre for John, but then it was the three of them. For Amanda, it was just her. With the last log in place just as the sky took on the last hues of night blue, Aaliyah stepped back and wiped the sweet off her face. The pyre certainly wasn’t the best she had seen, but it would do. With a catching breath, Aaliyah walked over to where she had put Amanda. She had wrapped up her friend in the same way John had been; the white fitted bed sheet with the top sheet ripped up to tie up the body.
Aaliyah struggled a little with the dead weight but managed to get Amanda’s body onto the pyre. She poured some gasoline in a line on the wood and struck a match, dropping it onto the gasoline soaked wood. It went up in a burst of fire, sending Aaliyah back a few steps. She stood there for a minute before grabbing a beer and opening it. Her cell rang at one point, breaking the silence, but Aaliyah ignored it. It vibrated in her pocket. When the pyre burned half way down, and Amanda’s body had turned to mostly ash, Aaliyah picked up what remained of the two six packs and started back toward the motel.
***
Dawn found Aaliyah passed out on the unstripped bed on her stomach and one arm hanging off the edge, beer on the nightstand within her reach. Her cell started ringing, startling her awake. She moaned in her motions to grab the phone and answered it.
“This better be important,” Aaliyah snapped. “I’m not in the mood for talking.”
“Nissa called, saying that you took off a few days ago,” Sam said. “Said that you had a call while at the hospital.”
“Amanda died,” Aaliyah said, keeping her eyes closed. “A wendigo nearly gutted her.”
“I’m sorry, Aaliyah,” Sam said, his voice soft. “Really. Dean told me about her. What did you do?”
Aaliyah moaned as her head started to throb a little from the beginnings of a hangover. “Hunter’s Funeral is what she wanted. What’s up?”
“We found one of dad’s storage units had been broken into,” he said.
“And something was taken. How important is it?”
“You’re hungover, aren’t you?”
Aaliyah rolled onto her back. “Do you blame me?”
“I guess not. I’ll send you where we’re at,” Sam said. “Drink plenty of water and take some pain meds.”
“Thanks, Sam.” Aaliyah hung up and laid there on her back, unsure if she wanted to move or lay there and sleep off the hangover. Sleep would be nice; and would provide a nice escape from the pain. But it would be temporary. She eased herself up to sitting on the edge of the bed before fumbling over to where she had dumped her bag for the bottle of Advil.
A seed of a thought sprouted in her mind as Aaliyah got a couple pills into an open hand. What was to stop her from swallowing the whole bottle? She had attempted to kill the pain with alcohol the night before and all it got her was the hangover. Yeah, it hurt losing a friend; but Aaliyah knew if she swallowed more than the two pills in her hand, she’d never hear the end of it. Washing the pills down with flat beer,
Aaliyah pushed past the discomfort of the hangover and worked through the papers and Amanda’s belongings. It took a few hours, but it had been done. The food she had dumped into the trash before making sure she had everything packed. With her and Amanda’s gear bags in hand, Aaliyah left the room. She settled the account for the room in the office before heading off to meet Sam and Dean.

okay but, what if after all the "RUBY GET AWAY FROM OSCAR" thing, Yang and Oscar talk and become close friends ? like, I can Imagine at least a conversation about Yang telling how her mother left her, and oscar being like "it was probably for the best.. since I did the same.." idk XD what do u think ?
Yang having her own private talk with Oscaractually needs to happen to be honest. As I said in my last musing post,Yang is the one who I think will oppose Ozpin/Oscar the most this season influencedby what her mother told her and Weiss during V5 concerning Oz. While I'm unsureof how the story will handle Yang learning to trust Ozpin again, I would liketo see Yang learn to differentiate betweenOzpin and Oscar. With the exception of Ruby, most of heroesonly look to Oscar as Ozpin. I'm praying that V6 will actually featureeveryone, well mostly the RWBY girls coming to separate the two.
I want Yang to see Oscar for who he is and learn tocare about him genuinely for the same reasons as Ruby, that he's just a youngkid who has no business being a part of this fight against Salem and her forcesyet here is, thanks to Ozpin and not exactly of the old wizard’s own accordeither. That being said, Oscar currently needs more allies and guidance than enemies and animosity.
No pun intended but I would like to see Yang extendher hand to Oscar in friendship. Would be even funnier if she gives him themechanical one that pops off for a joke that the two can awkwardly laugh at.
Plus I can see Yang mentioning to Oscar of how muchher sister means to her. That while Ruby has been the most innocent andchildish of the two due to her youth and open-mindedness about the world, it’sher compassion for others that has always made her a better judge of characterthan Yang hence the reason why the older huntress trusts heropinion so much. Ruby has always had a better outlook on things than Yang.Always the one to see the diamond in the rut while everyone else saw plainrocks. So if Ruby has so much cause to believe that Oscar is good person thatshe'd willingly oppose her and her team for then Yang will trusts her for it.
So I think Yang will give Oscar a chance. She isn’tsure about Ozpin but in time I think she could forgive Ozpin too. After allYang knew two people in her life who tried running away from their fears and mistakes; evendenying them. At least Oz is trying to fix his. Sure the old wizard probably has committed a lot of misguided deeds inhis lifetimes but it’s all been to correct one huge mistake that will destroyall of mankind if he didn’t step up. So the fact Ozpin still continues to fightin spite of all of his past failures is both commendable and honourable of himespecially when others might’ve given up quicker than he did.
Ozpin has failed more times than most people yet he’snever allowed that to impair him. In spite of living countless of lives, Oz isstill trying which is the least others in his position have done; particularly relatingto Yang.
Think about it. When Adam returned at the Fall ofBeacon, Blake abandoned her friends in Vale and ran back home because she didn’twant to risk putting her loved ones in danger because of her. When Raven becamethe Spring Maiden after killing the previous one, assuming that this allhappened prior to Yang being born, I’m going to assume that Raven left herfamily upon becoming a Maiden and giving birth to her daughter out of fear ofSalem pursuing her; possibly even going after her loved ones if she didn’t getas far away from them as possible…even if it meant never telling them the truthof her departure.
And when she, Yang herself, was claimed a victim ofAdam’s fury and lost her arm in the process. What did she do? She also ranaway. Despite being a character praised for her aptitude to always tackle everyobstacle that stands in her way, Adam Taurus was one that Yang allowed to beather down. And because of it, she let her own beloved sister whose back she'dswore she would have always go off on an adventure without her.
The laughable satire of all ofthis is that Yang is being influenced by the words of someone who ran away fromher mistakes, allowing them to twist her perception of a man who hasn’t givenup on trying to fix his mistakes. Especially when Yang herself can been accusedof doing to exact same thing. How ironic is that?
So if Ruby was able to forgive Yang and Yang inturn was able to forgive her mother for leaving and Blake enough to trust her againthen...she could give Ozpin another chance, right?
I hope this comes up during V6. I was talking with @thatkaitodan on Twitter and he brought up a valid point about Yang’s keymotivator being her drive to protect her loved ones. This makes perfect sense. ThoughYang has described herself as a ‘thrill seeker’, the aspect of her personalitythat always stood out to me the most about her character is her knack for goingabove and beyond for her loved ones like her sister Ruby and her friends.
Yang cherishes the well-being of her loved ones so muchthat she's willing to do anything for them; even if it means laying her life onthe line to protect them. Perhaps this willbe a way where she and Oscar can bond on some level. My theory is that love will become Oscar's driving force. As I said in mymusing post, right now Oscar doesn’t honestly have something that fuels him towant to fight against Salem.
But I think love can be it for him. It’s why I would loveto see V6 highlight the loved ones in Oscar’s life.
Before Ozpin swooped in and whisked him off theEmerald City of Mistral, who did Oscar have to motivate him before? His family. Imean it’s not to say that the kid’s an orphan. Oscar has his aunt. He had a family before the call to adventure. I’d really like to learn more about whatOscar’s dynamic with his family was like. He certainly doesn’t strike me as akid that came from a broken home. On the contrary, Oscar pegs me as someone whocame from a household built on a lot of love.
After all, getting back home was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz’s reason for going to see the Wizard. I’m on the side of the FNDM who believe that Oscar was based off of Dorothy. Perhaps his inspiration was a combination of both Dorothy and Princess Ozma and it’s his connection to Dorothy that ties him to Ruby in reference since fans also say that Dorothy influenced Ruby’s character.
Anyways, I’d like to believe that a loving home and family are two themes that are important to Oscar as a character.
And, even if Oscar’s real parents aren’tcanonically alive, I’d like to think that it’s their love for him that he remembers andcherishes most about them. The same for his aunt who willingly took him in andeven gave him a small job on her farm to keep him active and give him apurpose til he figured out his own passion in life.
Love will be Oscar’s fuel. He'll do anything toprotect the people he loves the most in the world and I think Yang can respecthim on that because she understands how that kind of drive feels.
Now I'm starting to wonder that Yang Xiao Long mightbe a Leo-born.Of all the horoscopes, I think her personality best matches up with the Leo sign in my opinion. Plus if Yang is a Leo and Oscar is a Taurus then a friendship between themcould be great---one of mutual respect and enjoyment of each other's company.
Plus Leos get along pretty great with Scorpios and sinceRubes is a confirmed Scorpio, it fits. Don’t know how this jumped intohoroscope talk but you get the gist of what I mean XD
I just wanna see Yang turn into a big sister figure to Oscar---fighting to protect him on thebattlefield while teasingly ruffling his hair off the battlefield, nicknaminghim her 'futurebrother-in-law' .
Those are my thoughts on that X3 Hope that answers you Lethie!

11 Questions
I was tagged by both @jiyamarrii & @chasethesun18 to do this, so I’ll be answering 22 questions. But I love these things so I’m totally okay with it LOL. Anyway, let’s get started!
Laura’s Questions
1. Marvel or DC? TV-Verse or Film-Verse? Why? — The easy answer to this question is that I like all superhero stuff. I tend to watch more Marvel, but I’m a big fan of both. MCU? Yes please. Smallville? Sign me up. I haven’t watched the Marvel Netflix shows yet, but I really want to. Cloak and Dagger on Freeform is pretty good so far! I watched the first two seasons of Arrow and most of the Flash, but since the CW added all the other DC shows to their programming, I’ve been a little overwhelmed, but they’re still good! So yeah, long story short, I like it all :)
2. I’m looking for new TV shows to watch. Recommend me a show and tell me why you think I’d like it. — I can’t remember if you’ve watched Gilmore Girls or not, but I recommend it to everyone who wants something funny and heartwarming, but heartbreaking sometimes, too. Lorelai is my SPIRIT ANIMAL. Otherwise, I recommend Lost in Space on Netflix if you’re into Sci-Fi stuff (it’s also funny, and the characters are amazing). One Tree Hill is amazing if you’re into soapy teen dramas (like 90210 or Gossip Girl). The awesome thing about OTH though, is that it’s obviously drama, but it deals with other serious topics and it isn’t bitchy like GG. The characters are all different in their own way, and it’s my favorite teen drama show of all time.
3. Watch a random episode of Timeless. Tell me your opinions on the episode and I’ll try to guess which episode you watched. — Okay, so I know each episode like the back of my hand, so let’s go. It’s my second favorite episode of the entire show. The music is A+. (You’ve probably already guessed it by now lolol.) It has one of my top 5 favorite Lucy outfits. I’ve seen this episode so many times I’m pretty sure I can almost recite it word for word (and I’m not sorry about that).
4. Do you have a skin care routine? If yes, what is it? — Not really. I don’t use much on my skin to tell you the truth. I use the St. Ives Blackhead Clearing green tea scrub every other day, and once in a while I’ll use a Biore charcoal pore strip. Other than that I don’t use anything.
5. What are your favorite pair of shoes? Why? — This might sound completely childish, but I LOVE my shoes that have daisies on them. I got them at Payless, and they’re Minnie Mouse brand, but they’re black with little daisies printed on them and I love them so much. I need a new pair soon because they’re a few years old and they’re worn, but I love them to death.
6. What is your phone wallpaper? What is your desktop wallpaper? — My lock screen on my phone is a picture I found on Google Images of Timeless. It’s blue and has the Time Team and the Timeless logo with a cloud. My home screen on my phone is a cotton candy-esque background. My desktop wallpaper is the Timeless edit I made with the Taylor lyric “Time won’t fly, it’s like I’m paralyzed by it.”
7. If you could have dinner with one person, dead, alive, or fictional, who would it be and why? — I really want to say Lorelai Gilmore (or anyone from Gilmore Girls, honestly..) for this one. Eating at Luke’s Diner? Yes. Please. I’m all in.
8. What’s your favorite smell? Why? — This is very oddly specific, but I have this notebook that I got for Christmas last year. And every book/notebook/paper smells good, but THIS NOTEBOOK. It’s my favorite kind of paper smell. I know, it’s weird, but it’s amazing. Otherwise I love lemon, vanilla, and peppermint scents and the smell of the grill when we grill hamburgers/hot dogs.
9. Do you have any tattoos? If yes, what are they? Do you regret any of them? — I do not have any tattoos, but I want to get one in the near future.
10. What is your horoscope for today? —  Jun 11, 2018 - You enjoy caring for others and you intervene regularly in their lives to guide them. Ironically, today you're the one who needs advice. You'll probably need to get away from it all in order to get a clear view of your own life, Leo. You could even decide to make the necessary arrangements for a trip abroad.
11. Beards: Yes or No? — UM YES.
Tumblr media
(OBVIOUSLY I NEEDED TO INCLUDE WYATT’S MAGICAL BEARD)
I also love Xavier from No Tomorrow, Hugh Jackman, and John Krasinski. Their beards are also pretty magical.
Ryan’s Questions
1. If a book becomes a movie do you read it or watch it first? — Most of the time I don’t realize a movie was a book until after I see it. And then I always end up liking the movie better. (IE the Twilight saga) I always try to read the book first, but sometimes I’ll just watch the movie.
2. What’s your favorite Disney movie? — OOH OKAY LET’S GO. Tangled is my favorite all-animated Disney movie. Meet the Robinsons comes at a second. Enchanted is my all-time favorite Disney movie EVER. My Favorite Martian is my favorite all-non-animated Disney movie. Also The Princess Diaries comes at a close second.
3. If you could have one superpower what would it be? — If I got to choose I would want to have telekinesis. Matilda has solidified that dream LOL.
4. Do you believe in soul mates? — I’m not sure, to tell you the truth. I don’t like to think that there’s only ONE person in the entire world that I’m meant to be with, and that they’re my other half. I mean, it’s a nice concept, but also I feel like I would just be too worried that I won’t ever meet my soulmate because it could literally be anyone in the entire universe. I’m meh on the subject.
5. What’s your happiest memory? — Honestly I think my most happy memories are when I was really little, like in early elementary school? Like, ages 5-11 is when I think I was most happy. And don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy now and whatever, but I have more responsibility now and I was more carefree back then. One memory that sticks out is Christmas of 2010. I got my DSi XL and I was at my grandparents house with all of my cousins. We played around on the DS and took pictures, and I still have them saved on it. The very first picture I ever took on it. It was just such a happy time for me, and I love thinking back on it.
6. Most embarrassing memory? — I threw up in front of my entire classroom in 4th grade. It was terrible. And it happened so long ago, but I still can’t get over the fact that there are people my age who saw me throw up on the floor of our classroom. Nope. Let me go hide forever LOL.
7. Where do you see yourself in five years? — I don’t really like to plan that far ahead into the future, but in five years I’d like to be moved out of my parents’ house and working on getting my book published. (I’m still working on writing it at the moment, so hopefully I’ll be done with it by then and in the process of finding it a home.)
8. Who is/has been the most influential person in your life? — I have to go with my parents on this one. But only personality-wise. I’m not interested in what my parents do for a living, but I try to model my work-ethic and values after them. I’ve obviously grown my own personal tastes, but I see more of myself in them every day and I’m very proud of that.
9. If you could time travel to the start of this year and tell yourself something what would you tell yourself? — You won’t have everything figured out yet, and that’s okay. You’ll be pressured, but take things at your own pace. There’s nothing wrong with taking time to figure things out, no matter what everyone is telling you. You’ll get to where you want to be, you just have to take your time, and set your own pace.
10. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? — Wow, okay, this is going to sound lame. Are y’all ready? I stole a toy camera from Goodwill when I was, like, 6. I wanted it but I didn’t think my dad would let me, so I hid it in my coat pocket and never told anyone. That was literally the first thing that came to mind..
11. What’s your favorite thing about yourself? — I love that I don’t waver in my enjoyment of things. My sister mainly, always makes fun of me for wearing what I wear, for reading, and for listening to the kind of music that I listen to, but I’m very proud of all of those things and I don’t let it bother me. Yeah, it gets annoying when she tells me my taste in music sucks, but I will very happily listen to Two Weeks Late by Ashley Monroe at a high volume and sing along proudly. No shame. As Jessica Day so proudly states, “I break for birds! I rock a lot of polka-dots. I have touched glitter in the past twenty-four hours. I spend my entire day talking to children. And I find it fundamentally strange that you’re not a dessert person. That’s just weird and it freaks me out. And I’m sorry I don’t like Murphy Brown, and I hate your pantsuit; I wish it had ribbons on it or something to just make it slightly cuter. And that doesn’t mean I‘m not smart and tough and strong.”
Thanks for the tag, guys! This was fun :)

Reyna and Trans Percy
[Short story under the cut]
Percy didn’t understand why the goddess Juno called her a Gallae, or why everyone was looking at her like she had shoved a torch down their throats, but even more so as to why Reyna looked at her with both interest and spite.
“Hazel, could you please step out of the room?”
Hazel glanced nervously at Percy, but she waved her off. “I’ll see you outside.”
Her gold eyes did a double take, before the kinky-haired girl left the area.
“Lady Juno rarely introduces us a demigod.” Reyna started, sitting on her desk. She probably should have looked silly, in a bed sheet dyed purple and a lopsided gold leaf crown, but she looked more intimidating. The jelly bean bowl next to her caught a lot more of Percy’s attention than she’d like to admit. “So what did you do to catch her attention.”
Percy looked up at her deep brown eyes. “I don’t know.”
Reyna raised an eyebrow. “You don’t know?”
Percy shifted nervously. “Before I crossed that river, I had no idea what my name was. Well, I knew my firsts name obviously, but that second name…”
Percy paused, noticing she probably sounded ridiculous.
“You remember nothing of your past?”
Percy thought for a moment. She remembered one person - a guy named Grover who seemed very fond of wearing fur pants. But beyond that…
“I… don’t know?”
Reyna’s shoulders dropped a little in a relaxing way.
“Very well. I must send you to our augur, so he can read the gods’ message on whether or not we shall keep you as an ally-”
Her eyes scanned over Percy with a newfound emotion in them, dare she say empathy.
“Or if we shall rain you as our enemy.”
Percy was about to follow after Hazel and Frank, on the start of her quest, when Reyna pulled her aside.
“Percy.” Reyna started.
Percy looked up at the taller girl, green eyes meeting brown.
“I wish you luck on your quest.”
Percy took a moment.
“Uh… thanks?”
Reyna’s gaze soften and she pulled something off her hand - a silver and ruby ring, as well as a small golden band with a little white stone in the front.
“This ring,” she held the ruby ring up, “Is a gift from my sister, I wish for you to stop in Seattle and see her. I fear she may be in trouble, but she will not accept your help without this.”
Percy glanced at the other ring.
“And the gold band?”
Reyna’s lips twitched. “A good luck gift, if you wish to take it. It’s nothing much, no magical abilities that I know of, but it’s been with me since I was a little girl.”
Percy took the two rings from Reyna. The gold band fit perfectly on her ring finger, but the ruby ring seemed a bit big.
“And one more thing.” Reyna took out an envelope. “A letter signed by the active praetor. If you ever need help in anything, show this to a retired member of the legion and they are oath-bound to serve your needs.”
“Thank you.” Percy said, then awkwardly gave Reyna a hug. The leader stiffened, then awkwardly hugged Percy back.
“Save us all, Percy Jackson.”
Percy watched Octavian furiously glare at her from across the field. She didn’t care though, the roaring crowd started to crowd-surf her across to the ruined senate building. Reyna stood on the marble, a smile on her face. Amazons and Romans alike filled in around to watch as Percy in her short glory landed on the marble pavement.
She barely had time to stand up before everyone started to shout “Praetor Percy! Praetor Percy!”
Reyna raised her left hand and the voices died down instantly.
“Before me stands the hero you have selected as our newest praetor. You picked well, but first we must hear her story about the quest.”
Reyna turned to Percy. “The floor is yours.”
Percy took a deep breath in, and turned to face the crowd.
“When I left New Rome, I had no knowledge of who I was.” Percy started her story, describing the trip through the only ship they had to offer, the gorgon blood gamble, the earth that spoke to him, Seattle, Frank’s grandmother, what Alaska was like, and the memories that came back slowly over the entire trip. “I remember Juno coming to me, after the battle on Olympus. She seemed concerned, and now I know why. A greek standing among romans is unheard, at least until today. I did not ask to be a hero, or a praetor, but instead it was gifted to me. 5 days ago I was a stranger. Today, I’ll stand as your leader with honour and pride, knowing that I have a place in Rome too.”
The crowd soaked up the speech with excitement, breaking out into cheers and applause at the end. Percy’s chest filled a a feeling of hope, pride, and passion.
Octavian grumbled as he walked up to her. Percy stretched out her right arm to him, a smirk on her face.
“Nice to see you again, Octavian.”
The anemic augur just held his dagger up and spoke in perfect latin - Gods of Olympus please hear my cry and mark this man-
“Woman” Percy corrected.
Octavian stuttered a little, then corrected himself - woman with our symbol, this daughter of Neptune, this Praetor of Rome.
Black lines burned to life on her arm. The pain wasn’t as bad as she expected, more of a slight tingle than the needles and daggers both Hazel and Frank had described. A trident right above four dark letters and a single black strip wrapped all up in a laurel wreath.
“All Hail Percy Jackson, Praetor of Rome.”
Annabeth, Piper, Leo, and Jason all looked uncomfortable at the head table. Percy couldn’t blame them, the tension in the air was enough to cut Ares’ ankle again.
“So Mr D just up and left the camp?” Percy looked up from her kool-aid, in which Dakota had given to her this morning as a gift.
“Shortly after you disappeared, Mr D packed up everything and vanished to Olympus.” Annabeth stated. “Something about paranoia.”
Percy, though she hadn’t been fond of Mr D when she first met him, felt a soft twist in her heart. The god had given her a gift, had given her a remodeled body after so many quests and years of dysphoria and being called the wrong gender by so many people. She had to admit that he was a sorta nice god to have around, even though he kept calling her names like Petunia, Patty, Pauleen, Pansy, and even Pickle {in which Percy had nearly died of laughter}.
“Anything else changed?”
Annabeth looked at her with steel grey eyes. “Clarisse nearly blew up the rock wall again. But other than that, we’ve already told you our story.”
Percy got the hint. She put down the blue koolaid and broke into their side of the story, starting with Lupa and ending with the hologramic scroll Leo sent. Hazel and Frank jumped in, adding things that THEY saw, like Frank with Mars or Hazel with Gaia.
“7 demigods against one earth.” Percy muttered. “How realistic.”
Jason nodded in agreement. “And that prophecy is just half of it. Figuring out where to start, now that’s the problem we’d also have to-”
Ella, who had been sitting next to Percy, shuddered and squawked. She cupped her eyes like she was trying to listen to a small noise and raised her head.
“Wisdom’s Daughter Walks Alone,
The Mark of Athena Burns Through Rome
Twins Snuff Out The Angel’s Breath
Whom Holds The Key To Endless Death
Giant’s Bane Stands Gold And Pale
Won Through Pain Of A Woven Jail.”
She paused, the titled her head. “Burned? The rest is burned.”
Then she sat down.
Reyna and Percy exchanged a quick look with the same message - That a was prophecy, don’t let Octavian get his hands on her.
A spilt moment later, Octavian stood up.
“That was a prophecy.”
Percy stood up to. “No it was not.”
“She just recited a-”
“She probably read it in a book.” Hazel joined in, somehow keeping away a desperate look. “Ella was found in a library, she probably read one of those fictional books about some fantasy land.”
Ella started making paper cranes out of the napkins at the table, happily muttering the directions under her breath.
“But-”
“Octavian, sit down.” Jason grumbled. Octavian glared at Jason, but sat down anyways.
Jason blinked, then bit his lip.
“We have three praetors.” He pointed out. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean-”
“I can step down for you.” Percy offered. Reyna glanced at him, her hand tightening around the knife she was using to cut her omelet.
Jason shook his head. “They raised you on a shield. You’re praetor, not me.”
Percy watched Jason’s body language, then decided not to push. “Every well.”
The meal wrapped up fairly quickly, and at the end Reyna stood up.
“Annabeth, Percy… I must speak with you two.”
The two greek girls glanced at each other, then followed Reyna anyways.
“That was a prophecy, you know that just as I.”
Percy nodded as they walked up the cobblestone path. “Ella gave us a prophecy in Portland too. I didn’t want to mention it, not in front of that augur, but-”
“What is it?” Reyna asked.
Percy took a deep breath.
“To the north beyond the gods lies the legions crown. Falling from ice, the child of Neptune shall drown. The rest was burned.”
Annabeth looked between the two praetors with an unreadable look in her eyes.
“That prophecy, about wisdom’s daughter… I think I know who that is.”
“Who?” Percy glanced at her.
“Me.” She whispered. “My mother, she came to me last month, ans she seemed… stripped. Like a bad generic brand version of herself. She told me ‘Don’t trust them, follow the mark’ over and over.”
“The mark… Ella said ‘Mark of Athena Burns Through Rome’.” Percy looked towards the ship. “Do you think-”
“The ancient lands are bad luck, Percy.” Reyna warned. “No one leaves for them and comes back to New Rome alive.”
“We have to try.” Annabeth insisted.
Reyna thought for a moment. “That prophecy, I’ve heard it before On Circe's island. This man in his 30′s washed up on our shore, muttering ‘Mark of Athena, she wants to come home. Don’t trust them, don’t trust them.’ over and over.”
“What happened to him?” Annabeth questioned
“He got turned into a guinea pig.” Reyna stated plainly. “But he yelled something out right before. ‘Return the Statue’.”
“That helps a lot.” Annabeth frowned. They reached a water fountain park, one with a very familiar face on a statue.
“You have a fountain for Mr D?”
Reyna shook her head. “We call him Bacchus, and yes we have a park for him. The bees love this place, it’s my favourite.”
Percy instantly noticed the bees and the flowers too, and how beautiful the place looked.
“There is an old roman tale, I do not know much about it. But Rome took something from Greece and hid it away, something important.” Reyna started.
Then the plaza at the base of the hill exploded into fire. And Percy’s mind went blank.
“The statue!” Annabeth cried. “Secure her!”
Percy hadn’t noticed, but Athena had started to tip and lean on support webs. “Frank, Jason, help Leo secure the statue. This floor won’t hold without that web, we need to get up to the ship now.”
Frank nodded and changed into a huge eagle, flying over to help Leo attach the ropes. Jason grabbed Piper then soared up to help the others.
Percy held Annabeth’s hand. His best friend looked worn down and tired, her face still pale. It was hard, facing your worst fears, Percy knew that. “I’ll be okay, let’s get to the ship.”
She started forward, but Annabeth started backwards. She looked confused, trying to take a step forward.
“Annabeth?” Hazel looked at her, then her eyes widened. “Oh gods, her ankle. Cut it, cut it!”
Percy didn’t understand. Annabeth needed her ankle, you can’t just cut it off.
Annabeth fell forward, falling out of her grasp. Percy noticed the web, the one line going down into the pit.
Oh schist… how did she not notice?
She lept forward, grabbing the blonde’s hand. Too late did she realise they were both going over, that the spider lady had trapped them both.
Percy went over the edge, and she reached out and grabbed the first thing she could - another spider web.
They were 20 or so feet from the ledge when Percy’s vision cleared. Hazel was leaning over the edge, offering her a hand.
But Percy just shook her head.
“Promise me you’ll see us on the mortal side.”
Hazel’s eyes widened. “But Nico said-”
“We’ll do it.” Percy cried out. “I’ll get there. Annabeth with get there. Promise me.”
Hazel hesitated, then nodded. Annabeth started shaking in Percy’s grasp.
“Tell Jason I promote him to Praetor, he should have been praetor this entire time.” Percy continued. “And Hazel… stay safe.”
With a deep breath, she let go.
Her eyes closed as she leaned against the wall of the shrine, then she was instantly pulled into a dream.
A woman, with deep bronze toned skin and black hair aged with grey, stood at the beach shore. Percy was waist deep in the water, but she recognized the place - Montauk.
“You have come far, young one.” The woman spoke, her wine cloak flapping in the wind. “I can see why my daughter favours you.”
Percy thought she looked familiar, but she couldn’t put her finger down on it.
“Remember these two lines, remember them with your life.” The woman’s eyes turned bright red. ‘Roma’s Leader Flies Beyond Greece, Bearing The Statue And Restoring The Peace’.”
Percy shook her head. “Why? What does that mean?”
The woman’s body turned into shreds of fabric, fluttering off in the wind towards land. Her voice echoed around her, repeating those two lines over and over until they were about to drive Percy insane.
Then someone shook her awake. Annabeth’s grey eyes filled Percy’s vision.
“What do you mean ‘Restoring The Peace?’”
Percy’s mind was foggy from all the bad air. “What?”
Annabeth glared a little. “You were talking in your sleep.”
Percy frowned, then sighed. “Oops.”
She told Annabeth about the weird dream. Annabeth looked at her hands. “My mom… she came to me too. She said ‘The roman girl. The roman girl must return me.’ Do you think-”
Percy realised who that woman in her dream was. “Bellona. She… she gave us the last two lines of the prophecy. Reyna is supposed to return your mom to camp.”
Annabeth looked a little sick. “I don’t know Percy. I don’t really… trust Reyna.”
Percy’s stomach twisted. “Why not? Because she’s Roman?”
“That’s not what I meant-”
“We don’t have any other choice.” Percy exclaimed. “We might not make it out of here, we need to find a way to tell her.”
The empty shrine suddenly flared with white light and a packet of skittles dropped to the floor.
Annabeth gingerly picked it up, then looked up at her best friend.
“We’re in Hermes shrine.”
Percy’s mind clicked. “Travis always sacrifices skittles to his dad.”
“Do you have a pen?”
“You’re kidding, right?” Percy pulled Riptide out of her tattered pocket. The cap popped off with ease, turning into her blade.
Annabeth tilted her head. “What do you do to put Riptide back into pen form?”
“Press the cap to the tip.” Percy shrugged.
“Try placing it at the hilt.”
Percy blinked, then did that anyways. It shorted into a pen again, this time the ball point tip was exposed.
“Holy Hera.”
Annabeth took the pen and carefully opened the bag of skittles so she could use the  white inside. They split the contents into thirds, one for Percy, one for Annabeth, and one for the friendly titan outside.
“Wait, what if someone reads it who wasn’t suppose to.” Annabeth grumbled, the tip of the pen hovering above the wrapper.
Percy thought for a moment. “Reyna speaks Portuguese, and in 9th grade I had a teacher who made me learn as much Portuguese as I could handle.”
“Do you know enough to translate?”
Percy frowned, taking Riptide. “I can try.”
Annabeth took a deep breath, and Percy started writing.
The sunlight hurt Percy’s eyes, but seeing Reyna made the sun seem a lot more bearable.
“I had no idea you knew Portuguese.” The praetor mused. Percy smiled a little, her cheeks flushing.
“I guess it’s a good thing I did. I’m so glad you got the message, I didn’t think-”
“Percy, you asked for my help. I would come to your aid, even if it were to my death.” Percy felt flattered at this.
“Athena has  to get to camp, we’ll all die if this conflict doesn’t get resolved.”
Reyna nodded. “I’ll get her to Camp, I promise.”
Percy fumbled with her thumbs, then gave Reyna a hug. Reyna stumbled a little, then gently placed her hands on Percy’s back and hugged her back.
When they parted, they said their final farewells, then prayed to the gods they’d see each other again.
Before Percy sat a half a thousand demigods, all chattering up a storm. She stood on the head table, and everyone’s eyes turned to her and silence fell down upon them.
“A year ago, I turned 16.” Percy started. “I lead less than 50 campers up to Olympus and defended the gods, unknowing to the hundreds of Romans who did the same thing on Mouth Tam. I watched Kronos fall as Rome watched his throne crumble. A year ago, a war was fought with three sides, two of which were demigods who had no idea they were working side by side. A half a year ago, Jason Grace stood up at this very camp and restored Hera to her throne. He did not know who he was or if he should trust the Greeks, but he did it anyways. He became a leader. Just a few weeks ago, I stood on a marble slab and became Praetor, even if that was short lived. I defended Rome during the Feast of Fortune, even though by then I had every memory telling me I was a Greek. Together, though, was our first night united. This is our first night where we all sit by the same fire as friends, not as mutuals or enemies. We are the children of the gods, the leaders and the heroes that make Olympus strong. Tonight, I raise my sword and proudly say - There is no more ‘Greeks’ and ‘Romans’. Tonight, we are demigods. Tonight, we are Olympian Heroes.”
She raised Riptide up, the bronze glittering in the light of the sacrifice fire. Hundreds of swords, daggers, bows, and spears raised up too.
Percy stepped down from the table and noticed Reyna standing at the edge of the pavilion. She walked over to the tall dark eyes praetor, who embraced her in a hug.
That took Percy a little off guard, but she leaned into the hug anyways.
“You do know how to make a speech.’ Reyna said when they parted. Percy motioned for her to walk, and they started towards the canoe lake.
“After hearing Zeus make exactly 2 more than necessary speeches, you learn a thing or two.”
Reyna’s lips pulled into a small smile. “You know, I don’t think the gods like mortals saying bad things about them.”
“I saved Olympus twice, I think the king can handle a few bad mouthings.”
Reyna laughed a little, and Percy found herself happier because of it.
They walked in silence until they reached the grassy shore of the lake.
“I assume you’ll be staying at Camp Half Blood?” Reyna looked at Percy.
She took a deep breath. “I like New Rome…”
“But?” Reyna tilted her head a little, her braid shifting a little. The moon was full above even though it should have been new, which meant that Artemis was looking for her brother.
“No that’s it. I like New Rome. I’ll probably go there in the fall, attend the high school available so I could actually catch up on everything I missed without random poodle incidents.”
Reyna blinked. “Pood- Never mind, I don’t think I want to know.”
Percy laughed a little, watching Reyna’s face.
“It’s okay, it was just a trick of the Mist that did it.” Percy left it at that.
She didn’t know how it happened, but they ended up in the middle of the lake in one of the canoes. The fish below them swam around, saying hi to Percy every now and then.
They talked about a lot of things - Percy’s mom, Reyna’s favourite food, Percy’s bad school reputation.
Then Reyna looked at Percy.
“I… was wondering if you could help me with something.”
Percy’s stomach twisted. “How so?”
“I… Me and Jason went to Charleston a couple of years back, to deal with some rapid ghosts. But… I met Venus there, and she told… I guess cursed me?”
Percy’s eyebrows knitted together. “Cursed? How so?”
Reyna cleared her throat. “’No man shall heal your heart, love will never be where you thought it was.’”
Percy thought for a moment. She had met Aphrodite before, the goddess wasn’t on her favourites list. Mostly because she told the demigod that ‘You’ll never find love in a man’.
“Aphrodite is a goddess who is never straight forward about anything.” Percy pointed out. “Maybe she wasn’t trying to curse you.”
“Oh?” Reyna’s eyebrow went up.
“In 8th grade we were told to make a presentation about one certain god in the Olympic Pantheon. I got Aphrodite, even though I should have gotten my dad. Anyways, the more research I did, the more I noticed how Aphrodite didn’t work straight forward.”
Percy paused, then snorted a little. “Well I mean she was the patron to lesbians, so working straight forward would have been-”
She paused again. Patron to lesbians…
‘No man shall heal your heart.’
‘You’ll never find love in a man.’
“Oh gods.” Percy whispered.
Reyna noticed the change in mood.
“What is it? Is there a monster?”
“She’s the patron to lesbians. She wasn’t trying to curse you, she was trying to tell us we were lesbians.”
“Wait… us?”
Percy’s cheeks burned up. “She… she said something similar to me once, years ago. Oh gods she was trying to say we we lesbians.”
Somewhere deep underwater, she head a naiad start to hum ‘Kiss the Girl’
‘Love will never be where you thought it was.’
Percy didn’t think twice. She leaned over and kissed Reyna.
A moment passed where they were both stiff, then Reyna kissed her back.
It was the best kiss Percy ever had in her life.
That was 4 years ago. Today, Percy walked through Manhattan, carrying two cups of hot chocolate - one for her and one for her girlfriend.

Everyone was gathered outside the palace, Drake was scrutinising the area for his fiancée- panic running through his veins. Asking everyone if they had seen her, they all shook their heads with sorrow in their eyes- all concerned about Liam’s health now as well as Riley’s disappearance. Maxwell has tried to convince him that she would be safe- even suggesting that the guards may have escorted her to safety due to her condition. Think positive Walker, he thought to himself- Maxwell gulped hard as he saw Drake shake with fear in his eyes. Opening his mouth to speak, it was delayed as they all jumped in response to the gunshot noise in the distance.
*****
Riley and Liam jumped hearing the gunshot- both immediately feeling each other’s hearts. Checking that they were both still breathing and alive. Both blindfolded and tied up- they both began to panic- hoping that it wasn’t one of their friends that had been shot.
“Ri are you okay?”
“Yes, I’m fucking dandy Liam. I’m blindfolded- tied up. Stuck here. I have a memory issue... I’m... you know... why is he doing this again? How are you?”
“Oh you know, I’ve been shot twice now. They say things come in threes. Maybe next time they can kill me off for good.”
“Don’t say that!”
“I couldn’t protect you the first time- I can’t protect my court. I’m a failure...”
“Aw listen to you two- so sweet. I bet you are both wondering who that gun shot?” Both gulping, they didn’t know exactly what else he was capable of. He was the definition of a true psychopath.
“The gun was shot in the air. No one became hurt. Not for now anyway.” Anton cackled, not giving a thought for anyone but himself- once he got what he wanted he would be happy.
“Anton! Leave us alone, I demand that you leave Cordonia immediately!”
Anton shook his head- laughing at the kings demands, he was refusing to go until he had achieved what he came here for - the throne. Retrieving the gun out of his pocket, he aimed for the two of them.
*****
“Riley! It’s Riley.. he’s got her.”
“Drake calm down.”
“I can’t fucking calm down Max! She’s pregnant. I’m not only going to lose her but my baby too!” Bastien came over to the two men, looking frustrated but also at the same time panic- striken.
“We need to get everyone out of here. That it involves you two- follow me. I’ll get you all in SUVS and to the safe houses.”
“Bastien I’m not fucking going anywhere. My fiancée and mother to my child is missing. There’s been two gunshots. What the fuck are you guards doing? Do you not know how to do your job correctly?”
“Drake please, we are trying to keep you all safe.... excuse me.” Bastien answered his phone- he had rung the hospital to ask for an update on Liam.
“What do you mean he’s not there? He was shot! Paramedics took him to hospital!”
“I’m sorry, but his majesty isn’t here- we wasn’t aware of any injuries.”
“Bast?”
“Liam isn’t in the hospital. I don’t know where he is. I need to get you all to safe houses immediately and search for the King and Duchess Riley.”
“I’m coming with you.”
“No Drake. I’m not allowing you to. You are like my son... I made a promise to look after you.”
“But you didn’t look after your daughter in law or grandchild. I’m coming with you.” Drake snapped referring to Riley and his unborn child.
“Keep me updated Drake, I’ll gather everyone up.” Max said softly hoping they would find not only Riley but now the missing king.
*****
Riley felt a body fall onto her with full force, in a way she was grateful for the blindfold - for not having to witness the shooting. But in a way she would have appreciated a warning- to cover her stomach. Kicking whoever it was off of her, she began to cry uncontrollably- needing Drake to be by her side.
“I told you both that you didn’t fully understand what I was capable of. If I can kill my main man- Claudius- what’s stopping me from killing the two of you?”
“Let us go now! Anton, you will not be punished for what you have done please.”
“I’ll leave the two of you alone for ten minutes- I’ll even remove your blindfolds, and untie you both. I think that’s too nice of me- but you can both discuss what your final answer will be. To give up the throne or not.” Sticking to his promise, he did what he said he would- Riley screamed at the sight of Claudius’s lifeless body in front of her. Liam pulled her towards him, anger in his eyes- wondering where his guards were. Holding her tightly for support, he tried to remain calm. Not wanting Riley to know that he was scared shitless, his mind working overtime about what they could do to escape from the situation that they were in.
“Liam I’m really cold, can’t we just run?”
“Are you wanting us to both get shot again? We have to be patient. I know Bastien will find us.” Eventually. Struggling to pull his jacket off, he eventually got it off- immediately putting it around Riley who was now shaking more than ever. Possibly due to the cold icy weather but also the shock. He knew she didn’t return his love, but he couldn’t resist. He leaned in a little closer- holding her tightly insisting it was for warmth, their foreheads touching- their breathing in unison. Liam couldn’t fight against the thoughts that were going through him - if this was the last time he was going to see her he needed to kiss her one more time, to say goodbye.
“Liam.” He saw the guilt in her eyes, he knew she had feelings for him- as a friend, but she would never forgive herself if she continued the kiss.
“I’m sorry Riley, but I needed to say goodbye- and I needed to kiss you. I want you to look after Drake and that little one. I love you all.”
Standing up, struggling whilst holding his side- he shouted for Anton. “Liam!”
“Have you decided your Majesty?”
“Yes. The answer is....” Looking at Riley still sat on the floor, he mouthed to her to close her eyes and that he was sorry. “You’ll have to kill me before you become King.”
“As you wish your Majesty.” Lining the bullets up- he aimed the gun towards Liam’s head. Closing his eyes, he didn’t want to die but as long as Riley was safe that was all that mattered. Taking a deep breath- he was ready for Anton to shoot.
The third gunshot echoed through the grounds; Riley kept her eyes shut, covered her ears, and sang to herself. She was already traumatised- she couldn’t bare seeing her former fling losing his life to save hers. Opening his eyes, Liam heard the gunshot but he was still standing dormant. Turning his head, he saw Drake and Bastien smile at him. Drake pulled the gun up to his mouth and blew it, swung it around mimicking a cowboy- before kicking Anton in the head, hoping he wasn’t going to resurrect anytime soon.
“Really Li? You was going to give in?”
“You shot him?”
“Damn right I did- he held my best friend and fiancée hostage. Bastien his majesty needs medical assistance.”
Drake walked over to Riley, who was rocking forwards and backwards in a rhythmic sync- covering her ears. Placing his hand on her shoulder- she flinched thinking that she was now Anton’s next victim. Moving her hand away from her ear- she recognised that touch. Drake.
“Hey, baby.” Jumping up and into his arms, she thought it was her imagination playing tricks on her- seeming stupid she smelt his clothes, inhaling that whiskey scent, just to ensure herself that it was reality. Kissing him, she was grateful to be reunited again.
“I never thought I’d see you again.”
“You really think I’d let him hurt you and Liam again? I’ve dealt with him. This time I protected you- even if there was a slight delay. I love you and Liam too much to lose you both.” Bending down to her stomach- he gently rubbed it before kissing it, lingering there for a while- he looked up towards Riley before beginning his speech to their unborn child. “And I love you too our little miracle. I can’t wait to meet you, to protect you and to love you. I can’t wait to be your daddy. You and your mommy mean the world to me, we are a family. Family stick together. No one gets left behind. I love you.”

PJO AU
Hi! I posted awhile ago that I have a Percy Jackson AU for Yuri on Ice! in my head and I thought I would finally get around to typing it all out. Super thanks to @forovnix for not telling me to piss off when I sent her most of this drunk off my face and for encouraging me. Jus, you’re the best, ily a lot. Also I heard through the grapevine that her and @actualyuuri are writing one together, which was the whole inspiration for this universe I have thought up, so I am crediting them too ;) . It is very long - so I will put it under the cut!
Let us begin with...
THE CHARACTERS
Yuuri
CHILD OF: Hecate
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Magic - specialism in spiritual and shielding; Mist control; Astral Projection into the lives of other Demigods and godly beings; Dance is his primary spell casting method.
BACKSTORY: After Hiroko had Mari, she found her womb was too damaged to bear another child. Wanting another child, they tried everything from medicine to, eventually, prayer. The only one who answered was Hecate, who was a distant relative of Toshiya from many generations ago. And with a little divine interference, Yuuri was made from three parents.
Yuuri’s eyes go gold when he uses his powers, a throwback to Kronos that Hecate thinks is kind of adorable. Zeus banned visiting their godly children back after WWII, but he can only really control what happens in the US, as it is the current seat of Olympian (and Roman) power. As such, Hecate has visited Yuuri four times a year since he was a baby, and drops in on him occasionally for a few hours at other times too.
Viktor
CHILD OF: Persephone
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Control of flowers and plant life - especially creating and killing them; Strengthen harvests in the early stages (springtime); Talented at poison creation; Spreads poison through his flowers (airborne) and generally though touch.
BACKSTORY: Victor’s mother had zero need or desire for a husband, partner or indeed, physical sex. She, being somewhat dramatic, prayed to Persephone in a ritual handed down from mother to daughter for generations but generally regarded as a bit. Persephone, bored and wanting to create some life in the world, agreed to help her conceive a child with her as the other mother. She however, recalling how much Hades’ indiscretions had hurt her, told him about her plans beforehand, and Hades’ was absolutely fine with it. He knew he had no room to talk about extra-marital children and he loved his wife a great deal. Something that came of her would surely be only a good force in the world.
Victor has his human mother’s silver hair, and his godly mother’s eyes that cycled through colour according to the weather, the state of the plants around him and his mood. He settled on a teal he liked as his day to day eye colour, and controls himself to keep it that way. Persephone and Hades, taking advantage of the same loophole as Hecate regarding non-interference, bring him down to the underworld every so often. Hades is actually a very doting uncle and is immensely fond of Victor’s loving and giving nature. He teaches him about poisons and summons spirits Victor wants to talk to for a chat whenever he asks. Persephone loves him a lot as well, but in a more distant fashion. It was her that taught him French, and they like to sit together in the pomegranate orchard underground and read.
Yuri
CHILD OF: Apollo
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Graceful; Slight Precognition; Archery.
BACKSTORY: Yuri’s mum had a relationship with Apollo for two weeks, in which she could have sworn she was careful with condoms, but apparently not. Yuri was conceived and he left long before she found out or could tell him about it. The loss of the relationship didn’t really hit her hard, it was only really a fling to them both. She decided to have Yuri anyway, and once she recovered from the birth, she went straight back to work to earn money to support them all, leaving Yuri with his grandfather.
Yuri inherited his fathers colouring but his mother’s face. He also had Apollo’s artistic talents but enjoys dance the most, so generally ignored poetry and music - until he discovered hard rock at age 11. He is also a little precognitive, his instincts have got him away from more than one fight and also led him to the rink where Yakov took him on.  His mother doesn't care about his father’s absence but he kind of does, and really really hates the guy, whoever he is. Apollo never bothered to think of a loophole to the decree of non-interference and so never even tried to meet Yuri - he fairly quickly forgot about him and his mother when his newest conquest came around.
Otabek
CHILD OF: Thanatos
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Sense when someone is about to die and if it is their ‘time’; Gravitas; BACKSTORY: Otabek’s parents were cultists when they were younger, cultists in service of Thanatos. Although they settled down a bit when they were older, dropping most of their worship, Thanatos never forgot about them. He doesn't often get cults in his name! So when they were trying for a kid and it turned out his father was infertile, Thanatos helped out without even being requested.
Otabek’s parents love him a lot, as an unexpected and much appreciated surprise. After his birth they figured that it must have been some kind of divine interference and began to pray to Thanatos again. The god sometimes comes to chill out with Otabek and teach him how to use his senses. Unfortunately, his heritage makes him seem creepy af to non demigods. Yuri is his first true friend.
Christophe
CHILD OF: Cupid
PANTHEON: Roman
POWERS: See the truth of love - as threads binding people; Cause lust (orgies); Wings
BACKGROUND: Chris' dads are a very gay, very happy couple who are somewhat overdramatic (being theatre actors) but love with all their hearts. While performing in Paris they prayed they could have a child through their love and nine months later, Chris was dropped on their doorstep in Switzerland. Whether he is the child of all three parents, or of one of them and Cupid, or if he is adopted is unknown.
Chris is seriously loved by them, even though they definitely know something is up because he has large bird-like rose pink wings that show up every so often when he is excited and cannot control himself. His dad isn’t around often, it isn't his nature, but he leaves gifts for him whenever he is in Switzerland, so Christophe doesn't really mind. He has his parents either way!
Seunggil
CHILD OF: Athena
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Tactics/Strategy; Unshakeable calm
BACKSTORY: Seunggil has a single biologist father who had a one night stand with Athena when in the US for a conference. When he returned to S Korea, a son showed up on his doorstep and after confirming he was his son he rolled with it.
Seunggil was brought up as a scientist, to question everything, which only helps his sense of strategy. He is a calm person but if you rile him up utterly he completely loses it and is terrifying. He also is very interested in coding and technology. He never meets Athena and doesn’t care about it - his father barely knew the woman anyway.
Phichit
CHILD OF: Venus
PANTHEON: Roman
POWERS: Charmspeaking; See love bonds
BACKGROUND: Phichit’s mothers are devotees to beautiful things, but most especially to dance. Venus saw them dancing and blessed them with a threesome in bed in exchange for them spending an evening dancing for her. Phichit was the result, as they found out several months later.
Phichit, like his mothers, loves beautiful things but prefers selfies and photography as his outlet, he is determined to capture the manmade and natural world in all its diverse beauty! Being able to charm people into doing what he wants means that he can be a little manipulative but he has a very strong moral code generally and would never hurt a friend.
Leo
CHILD OF: Morpheus
PANTHEON: Roman
POWERS: Send people to sleep; Influence dreams
BACKSTORY: Leo's dad has a very long and healthy relationship with Morpheus through his dream scape, where the bright colours of his artistic mind drew the sleepy god. They decided, after much deliberation, that they wanted a son as a sign of their love and to dote upon in the real world. Leo was conceived in a surrogate’s womb, but is of the two men’s DNA. Leo gets visited as regularly as possible by his godly dad in his dreams, as he is unable to leave the underworld to meet in person. He has never doubted that he is loved. He lives in Mexico with his dad but trains in the US / for the US when he gets his bracelet (more on that later)...
Guanghong
CHILD OF: Vesta
PANTHEON: Roman
POWERS: Fire, Constancy
BACKSTORY: Guanghong parents were unable to conceive and both being pure of heart, were blessed by Vesta so that they could have just one child. He doesn't see her often, but feels close to his godly mother when near a fire or a hearth. He is the emotional centre of his friend group and his sweet nature is pretty much never-ending, also he is asexual.
Mickey
CHILD OF: Dionysus
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS:  Grape Control; Invoke Narcissism and other disorders involving delusion; Makes a party crazy fun when he feels like it (rarely).
BACKSTORY: Mickey and Sara’s mother is a single black mother from a big Italian family. Dionysus didn't want to test his father in Italy, although he probably would have been fine, and decided to leave the Crispinos alone ‘for their own safely’. They pair were raised by their grandmother and long extended family primarily as their mother works. Mickey is protective of Sara for multiple reasons that are Not a sister complex here.
Sara
CHILD OF: Dionysus
PANTHEON: Greek
POWERS: Cause Maenad like madness with a touch; Make wine at will
BACKSTORY: Mickey and Sara’s mother is a single black mother from a big Italian family. Dionysus didn't want to test his father in Italy, although he probably would have been fine, and decided to leave the Crispinos alone ‘for their own safely’. They pair were raised by their grandmother and long extended family primarily as their mother works. Sara is very gay.
Mila
CHILD OF: Venus
PANTHEON: Roman
POWERS: Create infatuations; Exceptional Beauty
BACKSTORY: Mila has a single father, who is a premier ballerino and remarried when Mila was seven. Mila was a typical Venus ‘one night of passion’ baby, who was dropped off with her father after her birth and then promptly ignored by her mother. She really likes her stepmum actually, who is a ballerina as well. Mila is very beautiful personally and also a dab hand at makeovers.
Phew - that is a lot! Dont worry, anything important will come up in the fic (if I ever write it...)
Now, onto the actual Plot...
THE PLOT
ARC 1: Yuuri begins to astral project as a child, while he is still learning to control his powers. Through his astral projection he meets the other demigod kids (the geographically closest first, then he ranges progressively further afield). He makes friends with them all and gets something of a crush on Victor, his skating idol (and pretty lovely guy when he gets to know him in person!) Monsters, able to smell their scent, are coming for them even though they aren't in America and everyone is pretty afraid. Yuuri, having the biggest heart,  decides to try to change that fact of demigod life at just age 11 and he is very very stubborn about it, asking all the gods of the underworld and all the friendly or neutral monsters he sees about it. He hurts himself a lot trying it, but after a year or so he managed to create a bracelet that holds in the demigod 'scent', making his friend safer. The bracelets have to be personalised to the specific powers of each child so the first one goes to Phichit (his first friend). Then he makes them all one as he meets each character in person, either posting them out or giving them at the novice and junior skating competitions he attends. The hardest to create was Victor’s, who as the first child of Persephone is very powerful. Yuuri ends up accidentally putting a piece of his Self into the bracelet as that is the strongest power he has. It is very dangerous but even after his upset mum Hecate told him what he had done, he could;t regret it. The life of his friend was the most important thing!
ARC 2: Aboveworld gods don't care for their kids by and large (see character notes above.). They often forget them as they are not under American jurisdiction and therefore won't fight battles for them. Only The underworld gods and those mentioned above really care. Even as they become friends at competitions and through Yuuri’s projections, the strain of the bracelets wears on yuuri and maybe eventually one bracelet snaps or becomes overwhelmed. No one blames Yuuri but Yuuri, they just didn't realise how tough it was to power the close shielding of their scent. They have to team up to defeat the monsters that come for them. There is a Big Battle Scene and despite their desperate prayer to the above world parents, none can help. The underworld ones do their best but it is the solstice - their absence would be noticed. The arc ends with them all being pseudo adopted by underworld gods.
ARC 3: They all decide fuck the above gods, they won't be beholden to them anymore. The decide to circumvent their monopoly on items such as nectar and ambrosia, in the process setting up in the Underworld and creating their own godly market/culture/empire for those who dont want to use Olympus. In the process, they make friends with or at least win respect from some monsters. who admire their chutzpah, and also their stylish fashion.
ARC 4: Camp Half-Blood need hep with something as of yet undefined ( a prophecy?). Nico knows Victor through the Hades/Persephone connection and also because of their underground empire. Hades favours Victor as an heir despite not being his son because of his love for Persephone and also his strong underworld connection through Yuuri, his boyfriend, who is also an immensely powerful son of the underground. Victor, having survived past his teens, is also very responsible and wise so is a generally good choice. The whole crew agree to visit the camp at Nico's request and to meet their siblings. Drama ensues...
Yes, There are elements not mentioned here (how do Victuuri get together? What about other pairings? What happens at Camp Half-Blood?) but hey, have to leave something for the actual fic. Hope this is interesting to you guys, I spent several weeks daydreaming this. Tell me your head canons if you want, what do you think about my godly parent decisions? I would love to chat about it. <3 <3 <3
