I had started this for banned book week in Sept, but stuff came up. I chose the love scene because clearly it’s tame but still important for young queers to read about.
"When Nan agreed to take revenge against Mac on behalf of his friend Day because you respect and admire him, but then you fall in love and you are willing to always protect him from whoever even from Day himself, the person you look up to like a brother."
Did anyone else read the Webtoon Original Wendybird from about a year ago?
I bring this up in light of the new Peter Pan and Wendy movie. People are complaining about the changes they made, but a lot of these changes were already made in the pre mentioned webcomic and I don’t think anyone was complaining about that.
Aside minor changes like character’s appearance and gender, they expanded upon the world. The use of shadows alone is super cool. Peter himself is an actual dick but faces consequences. Hook is interesting, her crew is interesting. The Lost Kids are even more tragic. I truly recommend it.
Unfortunately, due to lack of engagement, it got cancelled. It ends on a frustrating cliffhanger and (spoiler alert) the flashfoward we see in the first episode doesn’t come back.
I do hope it gets a resurgence, but as it is, it’s a well expanded version of Peter Pan that needs more attention.

Summary
Episodes
For as long as Tharn can remember, he's had premonitions about those around him, sensing both the good and the bad.
Partners on a team of special investigators, when kind and cheerful Tharn met clever and charming Phaya, it felt as though they'd known each other for a long time.
Never have I ever been more happy about a book being adapted into a movie/series since the days of the Grishaverse or Where the Crawdads Sing.
I still can't believe that this actually got adapted into a series. Like.... I've literally WAITED for this to happen. The book never failed to fill my soul and seeing the trailer.....it just makes me so goddamn happy.
I'm a sucker for books and fictional works that are set in the time of war.
I'm going to come back and do an individual GIF set for each couple, cause they deserve it. But, sadly this show is over and what a beautiful journey to go on, kudos to all the actors and everyone involved in this production, thank you.
Jalan masih panjang, tak tahu sepanjang apa, setidaknya jika kamu mati besok, kamu masih merasa bahagia hari ini walau hanya sedetik.
