Synopsis:

Based on a BL novel, two men from wildly opposite worlds cross paths, unaware of each other's true identities, fall in love with each other. Review: Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan? Made for each other. I swear to god they are soulmates in every life. I wish it was shown as real bl in the show since then it would be even better. There is a lot of chemistry between the two main actors/characters and it is very clear to anyone, even someone who has not yet read the light novel, that they are completely gone for each other. Loving it so far.

Ok so update. I read the entire light novel. It was so freaking good!!! And I am slightly (slightly is an understatement) disappointed that there isn't any of the actual scenes from the novel because it gets quite intense between Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei. Otherwise, this drama gets whump heavy for Shen Wei near the middle and end and its whump heavy for Zhao Yunlan in the beginning. That creates the perfect balance so if you get bored by the plot (you couldn't possibly be bored by it but if you do), there's romance and tons of whump spread out. Plus, the boys get hurt because of the girls they pick. I mean seriously, Da Qing and Lin Jing need better love interests, or at least don't make them hurt them every single time they are present on screen. GUYS IM CRYING IM LITERALLY CRYING WTF THAT WAS SO GOOD OMG PLUS U KNOW THEY'RE TOGETHER IN THE AFTERLIFE ITS UANUIFGAUIH
