I think it’s extremely funny that, not only was Hunter not afraid of Alador, he actively challenged Alador, for a very specific reason

We’ve already seen that Hunter cares a great deal about authority. It’s not just when he’s afraid of someone, like Belos, but as a show of respect, as seen with Willow being referred to as Captain in a friendly manner

So, who do we know that Hunter holds in high respect, that also doesnt have the nicest opinion of Alador or his work?

Conclusion: Darius has absolutely talked enough shit about Alador around Hunter for Hunter to decide this guy is absolutely zero threat

it was gonna be a quick lil sketch for me to finish today. instead i drew this in one sitting, didn’t move for several hours straight and went to bed at 1 am (which is crazy for me). i woke up after my bus left, got all bundled up bc i thought i would freeze to death when i rode to school but it actually ended up being perfect out so now i am at school with 2 layers of shirts, a hoodie, a giant scarf, the thickest pair of pants i own, a pocket of gloves, and my thermal bodysuit from marching band in my backpack. also i wrote 3 pages of bjarki lore yesterday and am continuing to write more and may post it as a fic at some point. i told one of my favorite teachers today that “mr x i liked class last year but this year i am perpetually on the verge of a nervous breakdown. i have never cried as much as i have in this class.” and he was rlly nice about it but my point still stands no matter what i do i cannot remember linear algebra parabolas trinomials quadratics cubic functions whatever it is we’re actually learning and i need to know for college and my retake sats in like 2 weeks that i haven’t studied for bc i don’t know how so anyways how’s ur day going?

Amity choosing to keep some of her natural brown hair visible with her new purple hairstyle was a deliberate message to her mom

That she cut out and dyed all of the green Odalia forced into her hair, but kept some of the brown that she inherited from Alador.

It also ended up being foreshadowing that in the end she was going to choose her dad over her mom. Amity didn't display signs of having a good relationship with either parent when her hair was green, but since changing it to purple we've had two episodes showcase how much she loves her dad & wants to be closer, with the conclusion to her family arc being Alador teaming up with the heroes as Odalia left them behind.
