Because I just rewatched tomorrow and I am having thoughts and feelings about Karen saying pay it forward in relation to chimney telling Karen hen was dead and how it lead to her realising the depth of her feelings for Hen 👀👀👀

Buck unlocked the front door to the Diaz house, shouldering it open with a groan. “That was a long day.”

“You’re telling me,” Eddie replied, cradling his arm against his ribs with a pained huff. He had been correct in his earlier thinking, he had broken several ribs. All things considered he and Buck had escaped relatively unscathed, at least physically. It could have been a lot worse— and it had been, for Chimney.

They had just left the hospital, Maddie having sent everyone home to get some rest as there wasn’t anything anyone could do until Chimney was out of surgery. The plan was to come home, eat, shower, get some sleep and then head back over to the hospital in the morning with fresh clothes and coffee for Maddie.

“Dad!” Christopher yelled, getting off the couch where he was sitting with Carla, the TV playing in the background, and rushed to give Eddie a hug.

“Hey, bud,” Eddie said, giving his son a tight hug even though it made the pain flare up in his ribs. Hugging Christopher was worth any amount of pain.

“Are you okay?” Chris asked Eddie and Buck softly, taking in how battered and bruised the both of them were. Chris went to hug Buck next while Eddie accepted a warm but not as tight hug from Carla.

“We’re okay,” Eddie answered for the both of them.

“We saw a bit of the collapse on the news but I switched the channel before Christopher could see too much. I figured since there was nothing we could do it would be best not to worry him but I was checking for updates on my phone,” Carla said to Eddie quietly, checking to make sure that Chris was still busy talking to Buck.

“Thank you, Carla,” Eddie said sincerely, giving her another hug. “Not just for today, but for everything you’ve done for us. For me, for Christopher, for Buck. Just…thank you.”

Buck and Chris in danger in 7s speculation

I was thinking about Lev and the young guy who were saved cause he has more chances in 6x2 and how it still should have more connection to Buck's story and then I understood we saw close situations 2 times in 5s. In 5 and 6 s we saw old men died 2 times saving young people they barely know because roof collapsed, and step dad who saved his step daughter survived, again after roof collapsing

5x8: Ruper, old man who won the fight with cancer and wanted to say thank you to young nurse, he died saving her and Ravi. He understood roof going to collapse and ordered to get girl away(he stayed with her all the time in the fire) and pushed Ravi to save him. He died saving young nurse and young firefighter

5x16: Bobby covered May with his body to save her from roof collapsing and they both survived

6x2: Lev knew kid has more chances and wasn't trying to make firefighters save him. And he understood secret to happiness in the thing that young man survived

+to this this strange look in Chris eyes in 6x7 finale, the time them around Eddie and Chris, young girl and woman who was her mother's best friend in 6x18 it all make me believe im my theory:

Buck and Chris will be in situation where roof will collapse on them and Buck will save Chris covering him with his body(like Bobby). It possible he would ask firefighters/Eddie to save Chris first and finally find his happiness. In Eddie and Chris. And he will stay awake and fight till he can be ok with his boys. Also I I hope it will be our start to canon buddie. Where we know who are Buck's happiness.

i think buck will know when he gets to hear eddie yell for him.

“Two pairs of hands down here is better than one, you had a better chance of survival if there were two of us down here.” Buck finds a loose but large piece of the bridge and calls Eddie over.

“Well that was stupid of you,” Eddie grunts at him as they move it to the ground together. Behind it is another wall of concrete and he sighs.

And if we combine the theory that all the guest stars are coming back to save the 118, with the theory that Eddie is lost and stuck under the rubble for a long time - it just might mean that they are all volunteering and helping find him, as there are not enough first responders, just like when Buck got stuck under the ladder in season 2.

i can already see the opening of the episode, chris getting ready for school, and then it cuts to eddie in the kitchen with some breakfast he made for them (or just bowls of cereal depends how he’s feeling) and they’re just sitting at the table, and eddie asks him if he’s excited for his field trip and chris just gets soooo happy and goes on and on about Yes he is excited and heres the reasons why, and eddie laughs and is like ok bud in order to go we gotta get you to the school first and it ends with eddie dropping him off (parallel of 202 if you will)

What do you thing about marisol and Natalia being in the finale?You think they are gonna end up with Eddie and Buck or there’s still hope for us?

I try to be optimistic but it gets more and more complicated…😵‍💫

Tbh if they will go for last moment hetero relationships for the guys, it will be completely unbelievable.

It will be bad, like bringing Catherine back out of nowhere to meet Steve on the plane in h50 finale bad.

But truth is, with Marisol, I didn't get any attraction vibe from Eddie, more of a big brother missing his own sisters vibe.

And especially with the connection made in 6x15, with Eddie deciding to travel to Texas to see his family, I feel like maybe they bump into each other on a call, or maybe he checks in on her every now and again. I doubt this will be an attempt at romance, but with 911 writers, you never know.

Natalia, in my eyes, has proven herself to be an unfit match for Buck. The moment she called his death cool.

And after talking to Eddie, Buck seemed more in his own skin in this last episode, and the guys look closer (I mean, physically closer, than usual, when there was room for Eddie’s legs on the other side of Buck, between him and Ravi, and he choose to cram them between the door of the truck and Buck’s muscular thighs, just saying.)

So, even if in complete and stupid reenactment of Taylor and Buck getting together in 4x14 after she firmly placed him in the friendzone in 4x12, I doubt they will last long.

Because Natalia has, imo, the same interest in Buck's death that Taylor had in investigating Jonah being a potential serial killer - strictly academic.

And let's be honest, Buck and Eddie have both lost the ability to hide the swoon each of them make when the other talks, or smiles, or shows up, or you know, just comes up in conversation.

So I'm not worried, but again, it's all speculation, because 911 writers and showrunners have historically gone against all logic and common sense when it came to the guys over the years so, careful optimism seems appropriate here.

Come on 6x18/3x02 parallel of buck going to help people, and his Diaz falling into danger when his back is turned, before he dives head first to find them, searching until night has fallen because he’s not going to leave them alone, he needs to find them, HE PROMISED THEM he would always be there for them

i have a gut feeling (delusion) that buck will probably (not) restart eddie's heart (he's not even medic) in the finale (i'm extremely delusional)

I'm thinking thoughts and here's my theory

buck, eddie, and hen watch as something happens to bobby and/or chim. perhaps they're falling or hanging from the ambulance

hen puts out her arm to stop buck because she knows he's gonna rush in for the rescue even if it's not safe, but buck rushes in anyway

then buck is in trouble. he's hurt, and eddie cries for him...

perhaps he falls with bobby or chim? perhaps he's trapped under the truck (again?)...

Devils advocate, aka best friend, who is admittedly a fandom-aholic and a multi-show fan, and who has seen a lot of favorite shows get canceled, said that Fox knew that they would not renew 911 and thus the writers and producers had the job of finishing the series off with a nice little bow.

So this is what she thinks will happen. Pls note that this is not my opinion. I'm posting it more as food for thought. Also, she is a massive Buck and Eddie fan but doesn't feel like their story arc was meant to end by Seaaon 6.

Here goes...

Kameron goes into labor while the 118 is dealing with the collapse of the bridge. She calls 911 and is told that help will be delayed (or something like this) and gets up to take herself to the hospital. She opens the door and is greeted by Natalia, who has her hand raised to knock on the door. Kameron is overwhelmed with contractions, and Natalia helps her to the couch. Long story shory, Natalia helps Kameron give birth to a boy (she thinks) on the couch, and then the EMTs come in a short while later and take mom and baby to the hospital. Buck gets called by Connor as he is nearing his front door and is told Kameron gave birth to a healthy baby boy with help. Buck asks, who helped, and opens his door to find Natalia in his kitchen. She is sipping something (tea, maybe) and turns around and says, me. They talk and Natalia said she came over to apologize and would like another chance. Buck is charmed and says, sure. Also, Natalia mentions he needs a new couch, and Buck says something like, yeah, about that. (End scene)

Eddie is back at the hardware store since his home sustained some kind of minor damage (?) He has one arm supported in a cast or sling. He is painstakingly picking out supplies and runs into Marisol (again) and they talk. She offers to help him, mentions returning the favor, and Eddie stares at her for a few seconds, half shrugs and says, sure. They leave the store together, chatting away. (End scene)

She said Chimney and Maddie are perfect because the writers could have them get married at the hospital with the aid of a chaplain or end the series with the intent to marry in the future off-screen.

Hen and Karen, along with Denny, are also perfect, she said, because their ending scene could be something really sweet and domestic at the house or at a park. (She loves romance.)

Bobby and Athena, as we already know from Oliver, will be the last scene, and my friend thinks that Athena will have the last words of the season and might say something about finally taking that honeymoon while holding Bobby's hand.

(Seriously, she should be writing her own series or fanfic. Her imagination is really something. )

..... she said the intent could always have been to leave Buck and Eddie open to explore later on, but that also, no one could have predicted the chemistry between Ryan and Oliver, so who knows.

I'm tired after writing this.... I'd like to take a nap but sadly, work calls. 😪
