Hi!!!!!! If you still have a love letter slot, could I make a request? Could I request a confession letter from Atsumu Miya? He and the reader have been frenemies forever, but the reader finally got asked out by another boy and he finally realized his feelings? Just the idea of atsumu addressing someone who he’s been beefing with showing his admiration, and finally confessing everything he loves about them would make my heart 🥰

Hey Idiot,
I know this may come off as odd, or random. Miya Atsumu voluntarily writing a letter to you? What happened to him? Well, it was more prompted by Aran and ‘Samu, but that’s another story for another day. Writing this all down seemed like a waste of time at first, I was going to wait and maybe do all of this in person, but I’m not very good at that. Whenever I’m around you there’s like a fog that makes me forget what I was thinking about. The team sometimes makes fun of me for it, but it took a long while for me to accept and realise why it happens.
Some people think things like this are romantic, some people prefer it to be done face to face - I can only hope you don't mind the countless attempts it took me to write this instead of being upfront and doing it in person where I’d probably not get anything but a sarcastic comment out before actually telling you the truth.
In short, please for the love of everything don't go on that date Saturday night. Make an excuse, make plans with someone else, make plans with me. Just don’t go on that date. Maybe it was seeing how you smiled with them that made me do this and how I wanted it to be me that you smiled at like that. I want you to look at me that way when I tell a joke or compliment you. I want to see the way your eyes light up watching me play with my team, I want to support you in your hobbies the way you do when I spot you hidden at the back of the crowd at our matches. I want to take you out on the weekends, to spend hours huddled together watching movies you like. I want you to be mine and for me to be yours, but I get all defensive when you’re around because our friendship started out with playful bullying and it never stopped and now being nice to you without any forewarning feels strange. Even starting this letter I couldn’t pick a sweet nickname to use for you, but maybe we could try some of those in time? Only if you’re okay with them of course.
I think why I wrote this in the end was the fear of seeing your reaction. If you read this and you do go out with them, this can all be put behind us, you can ignore me, whatever helps you and me move on from this painfully long letter, but I couldn’t say nothing because one day I’d say something stupid and blurt it out in public. I like you. I really like you, and whatever you feel for me is okay. If you ignore me after this, that’s okay. Equally, if you were to ask me what I would plan for us to do Saturday night I would be ecstatic and look forward to it all week. Take your time, I’ll always be waiting for you.

Hey babe!
I know it’s only been a few weeks since summer ended and I last saw you; not even an hour since I was last on the phone to you, but I know this new distance and environment is strange.
It’s okay to be worried or scared, especially when moving away from home for something so big (and moving away from me, obviously). And I know we text and call all the time but I'm trying to be romantic! Let me write you a long distance love letter and be a little sappy on paper for once - which gets me to my next point.
You are going to do amazing out there, you will keep working just as hard as you have been to get into this college. You deserve to be there living your academic dreams and meeting new people. You may find it difficult to adjust or get used to the study hours but you will, it will just take a little bit of time. Everyone is new there so you’ll all be in the same position of adjusting and making friends in classes and around the campus as a whole, it’s a learning and growing experience and you’ll find someone, so don’t be afraid to go to clubs and extracurriculars, okay? There will be something for you, as niche as you may think it is. Try something new, no matter how bad you may think it is, and even if you don’t keep it up, you may find a friend there. These are the years where you’re meant to find yourself, at least that’s what everyone goes on about.
I can’t wait to see you on our first break and have you in front of me in person and see your eyes shine. Wouldn't it be cute if we reunited and ran to each other from opposite sides of the station? And then I’ll hug you, spin you around and take you to that cafe you love in town and we’ll visit the same park that we usually picnic in and just have time to relax together, forgetting everything stressful even if only for a day or two.
I’ll always be rooting for your success, whether we’re a desk over from each other or cities apart. And I hope you get used to these letters, it was a little exciting writing everything down for you for once, maybe I’ll get into it? Buy some wax and a seal just for you as if we were lovers separated in a period drama, leaving little pressed flowers that reminded me of you in the envelope every once in a while. In any case, look after yourself and don’t pull too many all-nighters without me there with you or on call to you.

Dear Heart,
I hope you are keeping well back in the city, by night I am wishing upon the stars above that we may be reunited soon.
It has been some time since I last managed to write to you, we had run into some trouble in the last town we stopped in and had to flee, causing us to travel for days longer than planned to ensure the safety of the prince and only now have we stopped to camp for the night. During my first night watch he could tell I was aching to write to you and allowed me to swap watch shifts stating that it was “an order from your prince” and allowed me to use some of his writing materials.
I am sure Nyx will be delighted to spend some time with you again, I can tell she is getting restless watching our party travel from the skies and wishes to spend a day or two under the doting care and treats that you graciously give her.
I too, long for your careful touches and adoring gazes. I want to hear your calls to the new recruits making them aware of my softer side after I scold them; I want to explore the forest with you on our off days; I crave to be in your presence always and to be able to end my day seeing you.
This journey was going to be a long and grueling one, we were all made aware of that. Maybe I shouldn’t have left with the prince, what if I had stayed back? Stayed with you? Would it be selfish of me as one of his personal guards to request to be stationed in the city when he is away? We used to say a much easier goodbye before, but things are different between us now. I prefer them this way, and I hope you do too, but I suppose this is just another barricade we must overcome in our coupling.
Well, dwelling on past choices now will not help; I am part of this party and I promised you a safe return, and I will never break a promise to you, my love. Hopefully the rest of this journey will go quickly. Please enjoy your days with Nyx's company and do write back when you have the time, a letter from you will always put me in higher spirits for the day.

After so many posts, spam and works, a few blog refurbishments and the coming and going of regulars customer, it’s time to celebrate the 2nd birthday of this blog. Thank you all, whether you’re new or old, for supporting this little blog, and thank you to any mutuals I’ve met and made friends with along the way.
