I’ve been working since yesterday on two gingerbread houses. Both are miniature kits from MGA’s Make It Mini series of resin crafts holiday series. @natalunasans gave me three gingerbread houses, so I felt free to go wild with at least two of them. Each gingerbread house kit came with a snap-together house, gumdrops, white cream squirts, and white resin icing. I used ingredients from other kits to enhance my houses.

I thought that Night and Day would each decorate their gingerbread house according to their interests. Night would make a Gothy haunted Halloween house. Day would make a nursery — or “nrsre,” as they spell it creatively.

After I finished Day’s “nrsre” and got about halfway through Night’s haunted house, I decided to do a photostory of them making at least one of the houses. I had to use my extra gingerbread house, toppings, and mini shoebox [the brown-painted base for each house] to fill in for some of the earlier steps in construction.

Someone can’t be trusted around all the candy!! :O

all her clothes (except one top and one skirt and one pair of shoes aaaandone small purse that the doll originally came with) are bespoke!

her furniture as well was hand crafted (or dismantled from her box and repurposed)!!

and her face (and eye chips) hand painted!

MOAR JEWELS! While waiting for my custom printable for the 50/50 to arrive, I have been working on holiday exchange things. For dolls. Because. So, once again, walk into the land of camera skills that totally rock (*snorts, holding back laughter*). BEHOLD! 1:6th scale shenanigans!

Sometimes I wonder why I try to photo silver against an aluminum foil base for my gown designs. Like a fool. Answer: Hands.

Took me a while to finish this because the coat was a nightmare, and it's not my best work but ahhh, it's finally (mostly finished). One day I might 3d print the hammer and color it to finish the look.

astarion's honestly the perfect candidate for one of those beautiful ball jointed dolls that are super nicely painted and have like tons of nice clothes but alas im not a wealthy hobbyist and i also dont enjoy any dolls bigger than 1/6 (and they just dont make a lot of dolls that small that aren't babies or fairies or animals... sigh)

This cheap, hideous, bad-textured Ken tuxedo doesn’t close up over Bobbie’s butt, and the pants…broke. (It makes her look kind of James Bond, though, especially with the gloves.)

However, there’s hope, because people are always making patterns for doll clothes and I need to sew a jacket or two anyway. Just gotta find it.
