This is Lynx’s most popular album, Conspiracy Theories. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a pic of lynx as the cover even if it’s silly. I really like rabbit imagery in music anyways though so I think it’s nice. I was inspired by Alice In Chains album covers and also fleshwater’s ‘we’re not here to be loved’. I tried to find a way to make it more 'gritty' but I couldn’t unfortunately 😭 I like how the title looks, like they just got a label maker and smacked it on..heheh

I imagine that this album is about relationship anxiety, betrayal, resentment, anti social tendencies, infidelity, and aliens. Probably not little green men, maybe more like the thing kind of fleshy imagery. Definitely appealing to atlas and scotch in different ways. Tool’s Undertow is a good example (off the top of my head..) of the sound I’m thinking of, so… prog? Or at least heavily inspired. I’m bad with genres heheh

im currently trying to either become okay with roadkill's name, or decide on a new one.. so im not making any album covers for them yet lol but i will post when i do..

I think roadkill would take a lot of inspo from their fave band so their style is probably heavily influenced by Lynx. Scotch adds a lot of sampling, distortion, whatever..idk I don’t make music.. and atlas is a big fan of slow tempo and bass. think its important to note that atlas doesnt play bass like a bassist in this album, he plays it more like a guitarist. kind of. hope that makes sense. I’ve always been really torn about roadkill’s genre, it’s been everywhere and tends to change. scotch and atlas’ styles would be vastly different if they were solo, so I think that’s why i am so indecisive . I think I just have to keep reminding myself that they’re in a band together, so styles would be mixed.

A part of me is like.. I think roadkill’s first album would be reminiscent of faith no more’s ‘the real thing’, or even some of Primus' stuff in some sense, plus similarities to Lynx and influences of industrial. i know thats a lot of random descriptions. I kinda think of (here’s a goofy genre for ya) sludge metal bands’ instrumental style, not necessarily vocal style... its hard to describe a band that doesnt exist. LMFAO

right now im thinking about 'the pot' by tool as a close example of roadkill.. im having a hard time finding artists that match scotch's vocal range even remotely. also doesnt help that the bands im basing this off of like tool and FNM dont exactly...fit into genres very neatly. roadkill and lynx wouldnt either. HAH. i just know it wouldnt be that high quality but definitely obvious theres a lot of passion in it. i mean this is just an album made by guys who dontknow what theyre doing. like at all. lol

Roadkill’s sound changes quite a bit their next album when seraph is involved. It becomes a lot more ummmm I guess palatable to more people? I don’t exactly know what I mean by that. Ok. LOL. I’ll think about it.. but this is around when Scotch realizes he wants this to be his job. Having Seraph helps A LOT with building a more dedicated and bigger audience, since they’re the one most willing to make changes. Plus they’re in art school, I feel like they’d have connections. So I guess roadkill would sell out in a way.

if you asked me this question a year ago i would have had a completely different answer. i wouldve probably said roadkill is pop punk or garage rock or something. i have trouble fitting scotch and atlas into a genre together. it fits scotch just fine and i think he would enjoy it, but its not roadkill.. also ive been thinking of stylizing roadkill as rdkill.. lmk wat u think.. im unsure about the name is generalHAHA. i know this is a lot so dont feel pressured to reply to everything LMAO im just thinking out loud. and drawing connections between genres that completely do not make sense. peace and LOVE<3

Hello mina! Thanks so much for the support!! I'm so glad you (and other people) love their designs a lot! </3 It makes me happy. Well, in general, Henry is mostly reserved, introverted and can come off as intimidating and aloof, sometimes even scary (his height doesn't help his case lmao). He's very blunt and tends to speak out his mind half of the time (much to William's chagrin, who sometimes has to remind him to not be "too harsh" on people). He gets easily passionate about his work as a whole, sometimes forgetting to eat or sleep because of it. However, despite how distant and aloof he can be about most people in general, he reserves his warmth for the loved ones closest to him - his family and friends, especially his daughter, of course. Even if he can be a little inexpressive, he very much cares for the people he loves! He just has his own way of expressing that love. It makes Charlie's death all the more tragic - since he very much cared a lot about her, even though it can come off as if he gets too caught up with his work. I think he'd be flattered knowing that you'd like to be friends with him! <3 Oh, he definitely does! :D He loves listening to the radio or music while working (his WalkMan is his best friend), and on rare occasions, if you're lucky, you can hear him sing or hum to the tune of the music he's listening to! Sometimes Charlie helps him rehearse his lines and songs as Fredbear :D Thanks for the ask!

okay, I'm skimming Adrian's TH info and upon reading his relationship info on Leo..ngl, I kind of want to see how that played out between them. How they interacted during the Good Genes story arc that slowly got them getting along. 👀👀

this is speculation, but i can only imagine given its mentioned Leo is usually passive aggressive towards Adrian and Good Genes being a tension point within the family he would've told Adrian off with "Oh, but you can always leave, right?! Since this 'family stuff' doesn't matter to you?" and just verbally gutting the guy because on the one hand Leo's "right" that family doesn't matter to him but on the other hand...well, that's Don.

I don't suppose maybe someday we might be able to see how the Adrian Good Genes scenario plays out? the potential for angst and tension got me intrigued is all heheh :')

It would go somewhere along those lines AHAH. but yeah Adrian previously would let off Leo during season 4 because he could've sensed that he was unwell, but wouldn't force him to do anything. he'd gain more empathy towards him and try to be nicer.

by good genes he's mostly frustrated at don himself because he didn't tell him anything, dodging the questions Adrian asked (because he believes in freedom above all things, and couldn't force Donnie to say anything he wasn't ready). so he feels angry and guilty that he'd find out about everything much later. Donnie didn't say anything to him because, if Adrian healed him, there's no saying what would've happened to the former (if he heals someone, it takes years of his lifespan), so donnie kept quiet.

on good genes Leo tries to be optimistic into finding a cure, so he tries to comfort Adrian, who, for probably the first time, listens to him and opens up.

changmin, your boyfriend brought one finger up to his lips mischieviously. you watched as he ran to the door and peeked out of the room.

“wait for it,” he giggled. you laughed, thinking about how cute he looked. he waited and waited, eyeing the surroundings in the hallway. you could hear the sound of sunwoo’s voice exclaiming "i'm home!" and the room of his door opened and closed.

it was silent. until a loud yell could be heard though the whole flat.

“what is that?!”

you rushed to peek out the door and you stifled a laugh at the sight of the doorknob fidgeting as sunwoo struggled to unlock it and escape in a rush of panic. you knew that he was going to eventually open it so you slipped back into the room. changmin stayed out, laughing almost maniacally at the sounds.

it seemed that sunwoo finally got the door open, since he must have spotted changmin’s head poking out.

“you,” the younger screamed, threatening to chase him down.

as quickly as he could, your lover closed the door and locked it. the sound of aggressive knocking could be heard from the other side. he turned back to you, his cheeks bright from laughter. and then he practically tackled you into a hug and left a quick kiss on your cheek.

“i told you the fake bugs would make him freak out,” he said through adorable giggles.

“it was also because you left your chucky doll beside them,” you reminded. you reveled in his warm embrace, wrapping your arms around him as well. “you know how much sunwoo hates that thing.”

the both of you loved to pull harmless(-ish) pranks and jokes on your other roommates, chanhee and sunwoo. ever since you started dating, you guys bonded over the mutual love to mess with people. whenever the prank or joke ended well, changmin would always give you a big hug and kiss. it was your favorite part. your roommates never seriously got mad because they found your relationship adorable.

you were busy eating at the counter, scrolling through your phone when you looked up at the sight of chanhee exiting his room. he looked particularly different. his hair was curled into a wavy style and his outfit was perfectly accessorized.

“i finally finished my makeup,” chanhee complained, exasperated. “it took forever. i might just be late.” he fumbled with his things.

a scheme ran through your mind quickly. you sat up in your seat.

“oh?” you pointed, briefly. “i think you got a bit of eyeshadow on your cheek? oh! and is that a smudge on your lips? changmin-ah look.” you gestured for him to join the conversation, trying your best to hold a straight face. chanhee’s eyes were already wide.

you turned to face your boyfriend. he stared back at you confused, since he saw that there was nothing out of place on the other’s face. you winked.

and then he understood. and he joined in.

“oh yeah…” he laughed. “chanhee, you messed up.” you couldn’t help but let your heart skip a beat at how fast he caught on to your joke.

“huh?” chanhee exclaimed. he quickly rushed into the bathroom.

you broke out into a fit of laughter. changmin joined in briefly before suddenly pausing and staring down at you. with tears in your eyes, you slowed down and looked up at him, questioningly.

“what?” you said, your lips quirked up slightly.

“just,” he kneeled down so that he was face-to-face with you instead of hovering over you. “you’re really cute when you’re happy.” he scrunched his nose, his dimple appearing on his cheek.

“oh,” you were taken aback. it was silent but you could feel your face grow warmer as your hands became sweaty from the compliment. “wh-why are you being cheesy? it’s just jokes and pranks that we’re talking about.” you tried to play it off, but your fast heartbeat was not helping.

he hummed, leaning closer to your face. “because i adore you.”

your breath hitched at his words.

“oh?” he sweetly tried to copy your tone from before. “i think there’s something on your face too?”

you blinked, pursing your lips knowing that he was playing the same joke on you.

“what is it?”

“i don’t know, exactly.” he grinned, mischievously. “but let me remove it for you.” he leaned in and kissed you right on the lips.

for the fanfic ask game:

1. my favorite fic of yours is probably phantasmagoria (with sanemi’s “bundle of joy” and rengoku’s “tell me to stop” being very close second and third places). i loved the complexity of the characters, the unreliable narration, how there was no “black and white” so to speak, everyone in the story in some way or another wasn’t completely good or completely horrible (except d*uma ofc), everyone fucked up somewhat along the way (some more than others lmao); however i am also super excited as well for the great war and vow between man and star, and ofc the completion of netherwood lolol, and have no doubt you’ll crush those fics too!!

3. best character you’ve written for: honestly, i’m just gonna straight up say i love how you write ALL your characters. however (and i’ve talked about this to you before) i have never loved how someone writes kyojuro more than how you write him. i am not the biggest kyo girlie (gasp i know) BUT the way you write him??? god i’d marry your version of kyo in an instant. you make him so much more than just the over-enthusiastic characteristics that he possesses, and i love that about your writing of him.

of course, i loveeee how you write sanemi and giyuu as well (your sanemi is what turned me from thinking “oh this guy is kinda cute” to being a victim of sanemi brainrot), and ofc your characterization of giyuu is so on-point and ugh (can you tell that i love your writing LOL)

8. what i like the most about your writing: it’s so difficult to pick just a single thing lmao (i love your descriptions, your dialogue, your storytelling/plot delivery, everything really) but i think what i like most is your creativity. you think of the most interesting premises (take vow between man and star, i still don’t know how you thought up the storyline for that, and yet it’s one of my favorite premises that i’ve seen come out of that beautiful brain of yours; same with phantasmagoria, i loved how you wrote the story and the dynamics between characters and how you took into consideration how certain plot points would cause internal changes within the reader and sanemi, the foreshadowing, the narration, everything really.) your creativity is astounding to me, and i love every single idea you think up and share with us<3

9. fics i’m excited for you updating/posting include the great war, man and star, coalescence, and ofc netherwood lolol. i love the concepts behind each one (and have loved the snippets you’ve sent me in our dms hehehe).

Ooh this is the second time I’ve seen someone wanting to let the killer live but not out of compassion and forgiveness, but to make them suffer even more 🤔 Interesting…

And wholesome family dynamics is just my weakness 😭 I have to include it in my first ever IF.

MC’s close bonds with Luka and Ash and Grandpa might be one of the little things left that MC really holds on to after the death of their dad, their mother figure (Cara), and their grandma. And loyalty to their remaining family is one of the core cornerstones that all MCs will share with one another no matter what.

I’ve always seen close family bonds between the Morozovs to be one of their most defining characteristics and strengths (and also weakness at the same time).

It’s the reason that Viktor couldn’t cleanly leave his past behind and sever Luka and Cara completely out of his (and MC’s) life after he ran away.

But at the same time, it’s also the reason MC survives the attack and is able to grow up to become the person they are today, loved, cared for, sheltered, and protected from the harsh underground world by combined efforts from Grandpa, Luka, and Ash.

This will also be the reason that Vigilante and Superhero MC won’t be able to turn against their own family. And the reason Luka and Grandpa and Ash wouldn’t leave MC behind and abandon them even when they chose those paths for themself.

ok so based off of the extroversion and the activities and stuff, i can def see y’all being that loud couple at parties that jus seem to always attract crowds and are just so so fun that you can’t manage to look away from them. you are also both just always doing smth fun and going out together to dinners, parties, events—anything! i can see you both also having some rlly funny convos, like gut cramp funny. the two of you have to sometimes get told off by iwa for never being serious enough and he has to definitely keep the both of u in line. also the two of u being travel buddies??? you fs go w him to argentina, can even offer up to go on trips with him so he isn’t lonely, somewhere along the way you both just end up country hopping europe and backpacking across america or smth. its so adventurous and wild the relationship tbh. also,,, def see y’all settling down w a shit ton of pets. oikawa keeps saying no more cats n then all of a sudden he’s coming home w a stray n ur like… ok fine. n then u have three more cats cause ofc u cant leave her kittens behind.

“babe! this house has a light up snoopy figure!” oikawa calls out, excitement clear in his eyes and the high pitched tone of his voice. he’s standing, like, three feet in front of you—purely because he’s about seventy percent leg—and is seemingly unaware of the stares he’s getting. his attention is solely on you. “oh my god, do you think they know about the puffer jacket plushie?”

“i mean,” you start, finally making your way back to his side and sliding your fingers into his, “he’s practically superstar level. megastar, even. there’s no way they don’t know about him.”

he nods sagely, already tugging you in the direction of another house that has a giant snowflake adorning the front of it. it seems as if the house’s light decoration also flickers and pulses in time with a jolly christmas tune playing on the speaker. oikawa is mesmerized instantly.

“oh my god, i want to die here.”

you feel like you kinda agree. here, where you’re happy and a bit chilly, but holding hands with the man you love. here, in this small christmasy town that seems to love their light decorations.
